18 Best Glueless Lace Front Wigs (2023 Updated)

I was very excited about purchasing the Amanda Melted Hairline Unit in DR Almond Spice. I am listing the pros/cons I observed with this wig. Pros: The wig is absolutely beautiful. The color is gorgeous.

Density is excellent. Shedding: none. Cons: The cap construction is bad. The scalp on the unit I received does not look anything like the pictures for this wig and was not plucked. Baby hairs weren’t really visible either.

The side part wigs in the Outre Melted Hairline Collection usually have a cap construction that curves around where the fabric meets the lace leaving it flat and smooth. On this unit, the material to the right side of the part where the fabric meets the lace is squarer vs a smooth curve which makes it feel a bit bulky and presses on that part of my scalp.

This wig doesn’t have that natural look and it looks like I’m wearing a wig. Although I can pluck the part, I really don’t know how to pluck the lace parts so that they will look realistic. I took pictures in this wig without letting the part show.

People like the wig and the color. I gave this a 3-star due to the cap construct/lace part. I would still recommend this wig because it is very pretty. Just know that you will have to pluck the part.

Or, it is possible that I received a defective.

The Creamy Toffee color was beautiful, but the unit wasn’t really what I expected. The front of the unit was wavy, but the back was big, tight curls and looked like the back of it had drawn up. It was like having two different hairstyles.

I also had a hard time getting the hairline to look natural and not like a combover. I bought two, tried one, wore it once and took it off. I decided to sell the second one. Unit also appeared to be dry.

She’s just a lot of work! The reason I wear these units is for the low-maintenance and ease of wear. Amanda (in DR Almond Spice) is absolutely gorgeous! She elicits fall leaves and coziness; however, the lace is nearly white and challenging to cover (even with tinting spray), the filler hairs are awful and the hairline is abysmal.

I wore it a week and gave up. For those who don’t mind putting in work everyday on a unit, this may be just fine for you. I was not impressed. Remove the filler hairs, darken the lace and fix the hairline? I’d absolutely try her again.

This is my first time buying a wig. I lost my hair due to chemo. This wig is a perfect fit for me! Perfect color, I got so many complements, most people say that I should keep the same style when my hair grows back.

I am not as experienced as some ladies on this site. Some ladies even trim and style their wigs differently according to reviews. I am not able to do it yet, that’s why I think this wig is perfect and doesn’t need any alterations for me.

I was so excited to get my wig, but I am having the hardest time. I have purchased 2 different wig grips; one from your company, a more expensive grip online. I have not had this wig on for more than 5 minutes.

The biggest problem I have is I don’t feel like it’s secure. I expected it to feel tighter and just more secure. I didn’t return it because I hoped I would find a solution. I just really wanted to make it work.

I am a first time wig wearer. I would welcome any suggestions.

I ordered the Ignite in Malibu Blonde 12FS8. I am still on the fence with this, trying to decide if I am going to keep it. I like the definition, but the rooms in the front are still too dark. I would never have my roots this dark.

Not sure why anyone thinks dark roots are attractive. Looks like you are too cheap to go to the salon to color. I have ordered many Ignite wigs and each and every one of them have a totally different fit.

I have a petite head and the wig works ok from back to front, but from side to side (or circumference) it does not cover the side around my face. I have short pixie blond and all this har sticks out around my face.

There is no way to pull the hair back off your face. I have tried slicking my hair back, caps, etc. Nothing works. The ear tabs are unnatural and difficult to wear my glasses. Also, the fibers on this one are very oily and greasy, like it needs a wash or this is a used wig that someone has used silicon greasy spray on it.

Feels nasty. Pros: I like the way Ignite looks in the back with the poof from the side profile. Cons: do not like the way it looks unnatural around your face, stringy hairs falling in your face, the thin sides at the bottom which does not gradually blend in with the back, too much perma-tease on the top making it look very bulky.

My big pet peeve with Ignite. The red tags stick out so anyone can see these in the back of your head! Plus the top does not look natural. I wish they made this in a total lace front all the way around the head, get rid of red tags in back (this is like wearing a dress with tags still on, and also make it in a mono so you could part it and look natural, fix the ear tabs and make the cap fit better around ears, plus use some human hair mix.

Ignite needs an upgrade bad! Overall the color is nice. The Malibu is darker than my bio hair which is light golden blonde, but I tried the Laguna and it is BAD. I returned the Laguna. Looks ok in the front, but in the back, the Laguna looks very cheap with the color (all one color) and the dark rows across the bottom and the whole thing is too shiny like Barbie doll hair.

Will decide if I am keeping this Malibu. May order another one in this same color to see if the greasy fibers are the same. I think I will take one to the hairdresser to see if they can do anything with it.

I own various Gabor styles and love them all. Really like Gabor’s lacefronts as they are so natural and well done. I used to wear timeless beauty a lot but wanted a somewhat shorter similiar style. I purchased this in sunlit chestnut my usually color for Gabor.

It’s a very pretty classic looking bob. It is indeed shorter then timeless beauty and swingier. Like most wigs with long sideswept bangs it does tend to flop in my face but i will steam and train it and wear a clip.

It’s a very beautiful style and happy with my purchase.

Gabor Opulence Large in GL6/30 is a natural , realistic looking wig. The fibers have a healthy hair shine, does not look wiggy at all. The cap is stretchy, feels snug but not uncomfortable. The style is an effortlessly easy one right out of the box.

It was easy to comb out the zig zag part and It lays very naturally close to the head. It is however very sleek. Lace-front melts perfectly into hairline and I am able to wear the front clipped away from the face without detecting the lace.

Knots are so tiny they are almost non existent. Color 6/30 is natural looking brown with blended copper highlights, the highlights are not big and chunky, they look more blended and natural. A root on this wig in this color would make it perfect.

Otherwise it’s an easy, natural looking, comfortable style. I did not have to fuss with it or constantly comb it, fibers and style stay pretty much intact throughout the day. Service at Wigstudio1 was excellent as usual, everyone is helpful and patient.

I love this wig. It’s so light weight and soft. Very easy to manage. It wasn’t the colored that I wanted, bc that colored was sold out. So I chose the one that I have. The Champagne color. I haven’t ever wore this color before, but I like it.

I do alot of youtube viewing on units before spending my money and I must say that out of the box, it most certainly was not the unit/hair that was portrayed in multiple youtube videos. This unit got 1 star for the colour accuracy and natural hairline.

It may have been more if not for the following. 1. I got the impression that this unit was light yaki but in actuality, this unit was very silky especially at the roots/lace which made it quite difficult to style and manipulate as the hair was so silky, it kept sliding and falling onto my face.

2. The yaki texture was more to the end of the unit. This coupled with its length and thickness created a heaviness which caused the unit to slide back. 3. The combs were useless due to the weight and most certainly did not help in keeping the unit in place.

4. There were not many layers at all and this created a bulky appearance. I must say that I am disappointed with my purchase because of the outlined reasons. I am not certain as to why the unit was so different to what was expected but I do hope this review is helpful.

I love the way this hair is layered it’s beautiful. I’ve received plenty of compliments if looks so natural. It sheds a little from me customing it a little but other than that this hair is amazing. it’s also a human blend so I’m not sure how it does under hear but I’ll try it when the hair starts getting dull.

I would definitely recommend this hair.

First impression out the box hair did not look like the ones I saw on YouTube had to do a lot of work to it. I didn’t pluck hairline I’m not very good at that. Hair is very soft does shedd a little cap little big for me so I stich it a little.

Over all I do love the wig even though I really wanted color in 1B you guys had non in stock.

I was nervous to make a purchase from another hair company and spend a good amount on hair. I have lost a lot of hair from having my two sons so I wear wigs while I wait for it to grow back and decided this was an investment for me.

The shipping was quick took maybe 3 days and the quality was amazing! Customer service was great as well when I reach out about a question. People review and say the hair is not as thick but it looks more realistic to me then cheap hair you can buy any where.

Very satisfied will order again when I save up my money lol. You want regret the purchase ❤️.

This was my first time purchasing a wig from this company and I have to say it was not as great of an experience as I expected. The communication was good but the wig itself was what disappointed me.

The amount of space you have to part the hair is very small and the wig is not full. It is thick gaps in between the tracks which doesn’t give your hair full coverage. The tracks show because of the way the other tracks were spaced.

The hair doesn’t hold curls or straighten well either. I am not satisfied, they did offer to send me out another wig however i would’ve had to purchase another wig to hold me over for the week plus it would have taken for me to get a new wig.

Needless to say i no longer use the wig and i am very disappointed.

I was I tidally pleased with the softness of the hair and quality of the lace. However, I had this hair in for less than a week before is started to tangle really bad (see picture). The hair didn’t get wet or anything.

The picture is after 5 days of wearing. The ends of the hair were also horrible. I expected better.

Neesha 205 in the color DR4/MUSHBL is what I ordered and I’m so freaking happy I did. Texture is super soft, easy to untangle with your fingers or wide tooth comb. The three inch lace part is just right for my small head.

This beautiful color is giving me good vibes. It’s not too bright or too dark for my carmel skin tone. Cap construction is so comfortable. Ear tabs fit perfectly snug the way I like it. Most of all the wig is very light.

It was a little to thick for my but I just thin it out a little and customized it to my liking. The hair fibers don’t irritate my skin like my other brands of synthetic units and no fly away sticking to my eyes and face, Neesha looks and feels realistic, I can’t stop touching it and looking in the mirror.

I like it so much that I ordered another Neesha 205 in the same DR4/MUSHBL, cause I know this bad girl will soon be flying of the shelves. Thanks Elevatedstyles for your fast service and thanks Outre for your superb Neesha wigs!.

I’ve looked everywhere for the perfect salt and pepper wig. After watching numerous reviews on outre’s revamping of the Neesha I decided I would have to color my hair to match the units til I found the ffmidnight gray that matches my hair perfectly.

My own mother thought I had gotten my hair “done”. Beautiful and believable. No one who knows me would ever think it was anything other than my natural hair. Gray streak align perfectly with my own streaks.

This wig is perfection!.

I’m not a big middle part person and I usually do free parting wigs but this was perfect. From the hairline to the strap in the back it was beautiful and full. I’m getting more in different colors. All I did was tint the lace and frame my face with some layers.

You couldn’t tell me this wasn’t my hair lol.

This is a nice wig! Very cute basic style, the fullness is on point. I love the movement on this wig, flowy and full of volume but not overwhelming. Very realistic style for daily wear. LMelted Hairline is 💯.

This wig is really cute. Thicker than I thought it would be but that’s ok. One thing I would say is the lace on this one is not as good as the lace on some of the other wigs from the melted hairline collection.

But I can make it work.

I loooove this wig. The hairline is super natural looking and has a cute moneypiece in the front. Its not super long and I also like the colors it comes in. Its definitely one of my favorites!

Leyla is everything! A great everyday look. No plucking required. Good for a beginner. This unit is a big head friendly associate.

I thought the Golden Honey color was more of a blond but it was like a platinum color. Too blond for me.

I reviewed this wig on Youtube, and decided to purchase. Ordering was easy, and my purchase came in a few days. The wig was just as I imagined.

I have been buying wigs for five years and I have loved loved them all right out of the box but the love has always quickly faded as the “fuzz” started to take over. But not with this wig! She is perfect.

I love being able to tuck the hair back behind my ears. And the color is gorgeous. This wig is a winner in my book and I will definitely by a second one which will be a first for me.

Well this wig looks very shabby. It is not well made. I have noticed this trend with the Jon Renau wigs as of late. You can see the seams along the top,where the mono or lace is. Very dissapointed. I usually get Nao.

mi but it is getting just as bad with the quality. Jon Renau needs to do more stringent QC on their products. I personally like Perma tease but not when it just sits there and you have no hair covering it.

Then they charge you the restock fee which adds up when trying to find a decently made wig much less one with some style. The other issue with the Jon Renau wigs is that the HD ones are way too shiny! This wasn’t the case before.

I have tried all the tips on how to tone down shine. to no avail.

I love this wig so much, I bought a back up. It doesn’t look synthetic at all, especially after fluffing it out a little bit. Love the texture, the elastic inside and the mesh/lace. The lace could be a little more transparent, but it’s still a fav!.

I love the length and the volume. It’s a great wig for short term situations. Shipping was quick. Would buy again.

I am totally hooked on the Sepia line. I own the Kim as well as the Isabella and just received the Holiday today and am totally impressed. The curls are soft, full and beautiful. Color I chose is 4/27 and is awesome.

Bought for my daughter in law who is currently going thru chemo. She is only 24 and had beautiful red hair. Wanted her to have something that would make her feel beautiful and it certainly does that!

I purchased this with my Cala wig. I got it a number 2 color, so it’s a very beautiful dark dark brown. Very long, feels real, and I love it!
