20 Best Glue For Warhammer 40K (2023 Updated)

This works great for GW models and has a nice thin applicator for precision gluing – however it did not work at all for gluing models I had custom printed. After researching; this produce is in the realm of ‘plastic cement’ which doesn’t work at all with some materials, so be aware of that.

Need both this and some super glue in the drawer.

The glue works well on unpainted miniatures. I love the metal applicator, it helps apply in right places and control the flow well. Product leaks and drips of glue after each application. The drips have, on more than one occasion, bonded the cap and applicator to each other.

The metal applicator is not attached to the bottle and constantly separates itself from the main bottle. I would overall not recommend or make this purchase again.

Glue works as expected. Glues the models together and to their bases. As it is a plastic glue, don’t expect it to bind non-plastics. Only small issue I had was the metal rod used to apply the glue once fell into the holder.

Easy fix is to just wrap some tape around the bottom of the rod so it doesn’t slide down. Hasn’t failed me since. (It was my own fault as I tapped the rod a little hard). I haven’t used it on non GW products, though.

When this was under the Model Masters line this was the greatest glue out there for plastics. Now, with the new spout on the bottle it’s terrible. The product inside is tho same glue but the container is garbage.

You have to squeeze very hard for it to come out and when it does it’s a huge drop. Bring back the metal spout where you could control how much comes out!.

This is by far some of the BEST glue for putting together plastic models. Even though it is not a gel, it starts taking hold within 30 seconds and can be safely handled within minutes. I have been using this glue for a few years now, specifically for GW miniatures, and have not regretted it.

This glue does what you want. It melts two bits of plastic together. But from a modelers perspective the nozzle is not fine enough and makes it difficult to manage the amount of glue that comes out. If I were to buy this again I would make sure that I got one with a thin metal tip, rather then the wide plastic tip.

I like this glue as I build many kits at once and this sets very quickly. There are thinner polystyrene cements, which I’ll also use on kits when I’m not in a rush to build so many. Also efficient about the Testors’ product is the quality of the bond, as it welds the polystyrene plastic pieces together.

I’ve been using Testor’s glue since a teenager, which was many decades ago!!!.

Always a use product for forming a strong bond. I use this in area where controlling the amount of cement is not important, or on joints that might have their strength tested. Be sure to seal well after use.

This is one of the best glues out there for plastic models. It works well and goes on smooth. I use it mostly for plastic models, but it had also come in handy when I need to fix any plastic which has broken such as kid’s toy’s.

I purchased 20 of these to help repair my porch posts and spindles. Although described as five minute set time I found it seemed workable for about 10 minutes and then started getting solid quite quickly after that.

I found the easiest way to work with it was to use a paper coffee cup and cut it down to about two inches high. Then I’d empty 50% to 100% into the cup and mix it thoroughly with a popsicle stick. Then I’d bend the cup so it had a pouring spout; and used the popsicle stick to guide the glue into the mold I created with masking or duct tape? I let it harden over night then sanded it with a grinder as it’s extremely hard.

If given the choice to pay extra for Locltitie over the Ace and Devcon brands, do it. For some totally ridiculous reason, now all Devcon and Ace duel-plunger glues come with caps that don’t even pretend to stay on, when you try and save the glue you didn’t use when you first opened it.

How Ace can sell their glues in these containers is something they need to explain. Until they do, stick with Locktite, which continues to use the sort of snap-on caps that Ace products used to use.

The glue itself seems good, but it’d be nice if the applicator allowed more precise control. Have only used once, so can’t say if it will get clogged up or not.

Welds polystyrene to polystyrene. Don’t use it on PVC such as Bones or Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures.

It’s glue, quite sticky, sets quickly, the bottle can be firm even when the nozzle is clear so be cautious as the glue will run quickly if you squeeze too hard. That being said the nozzle can get glue stuck in it, I recommend clearing it with a small drill bit before and after use just as simple maintenance.

Works great and dries quickly enough to not worry about a mess. The application tip sometimes will get crusted over with dried glue so you’ll have work that out. Still cheaper and more effective than other options.

My subject title says it all. Can’t fault it. It sets fast, doesn’t cloud up dries clear. Lovely tiny point tip application make it easy for really fine craft work.

I use this and the Ultra Control Gel both to help extend the life of my expensive Brooks Beast sneakers needed to protect my feet on a concrete surface at work. The gel I use where more flexibility of the repair and control of application is needed, and the liquid to get into cracks.

They have been outstanding in performance, very easy to apply, and the tubes haven’t dried out. I’ve used the gel to fix two of my fellow workers’ eyeglass frames, and to fix a cracked gas plastic lawnmower cover to excellent effect.

The lawnmower went through the entire last year mowing season and held, even though there was very little surface area to stick the two sides back together, and that under significant strain. The working time was ideal to get everything applied, and the set time ideal so I could let go holding of the two plastic sides together after a few minutes when my hands started to severely cramp.

Amazingly it held. So I’ve been a big fan of Loctite Ultra Control Super Glues since. The liquid I’ve started using recently where a liguid vs a gel gets into more inaccessible areas.

Ugh. I ordered “gel ” Super Glue so that it didn’t run madly out of the tube. Why oh why, oh why did you substitute liquid which immediately runs all over creation the minute you open the tube. You could have ordered gel in a different size or different brand.

At least then I wouldn’t have to deal with the impossible flood of super glue. ou how dumb.

I can no longer think of glue without thinking of Elwood Blues. But seriously, this glue is the best on the market. There never seems to be enough of it in a bottle but if there were more it would solidify before you could use it.

Pro Tips: (1) Don’t stock too much of it because it might solidify before you can use it. (2) Leave it in the packaging until your other bottles have run out. (3) Don’t twist the top until you’re ready to start using it.

This product is absolutely NEEDFUL to those who like to assemble plastic models! Just as long as its vapors are not “huffed,” as was common when the stuff smelled like oranges, you should be all right.

You are warned, though, that you CANNOT paint on it, nor can you use it where models have BEEN painted. Such paint will not hold to cemented surfaces, nor will cement hold to painted surfaces. An added advantage is that any such package as this now includes tips you can secure to the tubes and thereby enhance the precision of its usage.

However many times you found yourself using too much in the past and ending up with joints that fell apart on you, those days are gone now. As far as your skills go, you should not be afraid to experiment with this substance.

So go for it!.

This is a good bodied plastic cement. It has styrene plastic in solvent. It is good for ill-fitting joints or quick hold. Minor repositioning of pieces while wet is possible with this cement. Dries to a joint nearly as strong as the plastic kit parts.

This glue was strongly recommended on modelling sites, so I decided to give it a try. I had some models that had fallen into disrepair, so away to work I went! With very little effort, I was able to fix them and put new ones together.

The heavier pieces still need to have some aid in keeping together, but I haven’t seen glue that didn’t have this type of problem. Overall, I am pleased with the offering.

This has been my go to glue for years now. It is super glue, so anyone using it needs to be as careful as with any other super glue. It dried very fast and very permanently. However the gel control aspect of this one makes it far easier than most super glues to control placement and amount.

I use this on wood, metal, plastic, fabric, ceramic, literally everything. Smooth or porous surface both work fine. A little goes a long way. The one issue is actually a pro and con. The tabs on the side used to squeeze out the glue are great for controlling the glue, however when you get about half way down on glue level, they start to become hard to squeeze.

I actually use a pair of pliers to squeeze them so that I get all the glue out of the bottle. The propack price at Michaels is a really good deal compared to other buying options, so if you need more than a single bottle this is the way to go.

It takes a little time to figure out the right amount of glue, drying time, controlling the bottle for placement, but once you do, this is the one.

This glue bonds very well, just be aware of what type material your bonding. It is excellent if i. e. bonding a stone or crystal to metal, some materials i. e. some leathers, small car repairs. I found it does not work great on some ribbons, not all card stock or paper.

A little goes very far and bonds tight. Be careful it will bond your fingers!!, Not very easily washed off so work careful. The pointed nozzle allows you to target your area. I as well learned the first time that there is not much in the bottle, so I only use it when I know I need a very strong bond keeping in mind the type material.

It does not require much , a small dot will give a strong bond. I learned about this glue from seeing crafting shows and was amazed at the little tiny amount they would use. I have been using this glue for about two years now, it usually bonds quickly, unless your attempting to bond something resistant.

If the material seems resistant I will just apply the glue and use something metal to hold in place a few extra seconds until it bonds.

I needed to repair a pair of flip-flops made of rubber (Havaianas). I tried two other kinds of “super glue” but they would not work. Then I tried this Loctite Ultra Gel and it worked perfectly! The consistency is thick so it doesn’t run.

Combined with the design of the bottle (it’s made to easily squeeze the sides), it’s very easy to control both the amount used and placement on the items to be glued. It doesn’t dry instantly, so you have a few seconds to reposition whatever you’re gluing.

Once the pieces are connected though, it does adhere quickly. Great product, highly recommend it!.

Superglue just got it’s cape!!! First, it’s a gel which doesn’t run. Gives you better control. It has a rubber toughened formula which makes a great seal that holds great. It does take about 5 minutes to set so you have a little time to get item positioned.

( full cure takes 12-24 hours). Now here’s where it marvels. You actually have to squeeze the blue levers on side of bottle to dispense. This makes it easier to control, easier to dispense a drop or a blob.

And easier to stop dispensing. Then… it self closes nozzle when blue levers are release so it doesn’t dry out as quick!! Excellent improvement! It’s about time! Finally the super glue has its cape! Bravo!.

Their are not enough words to describe how much I love this glue. I break things all the time ( no, not on purpose) but this glue fixes everything. I break coffee mugs and put them back together again.

No, not to just set on a shelf and look good but to use daily. I wash them or knock them over and they never rebreak or wash away. They are stronger then when you first buy them. It dries super fast and clean and precisely where you need it.

The dispenser work to keep things neat and easy to use and the cap keeps it from drying out. This product is the bomb, please don’t ever change the formula. Thanks for selling quality.

1. What does the product do well? This is the perfect super glue and can be used in everything, I’ve actually just used it on a pair of sunglasses that I had actually cracked a few weeks ago and now they are back to looking brand new again.

It has plenty in the bottle and will last a lot longer than you would think. And very strong compared to what I’ve used in the past. 2. What is your favorite feature ? I will have to start with saying my favorite feature is that it actually gets the job done when you do it the first time and it doesn’t leave your hands glued together.

Been using it for years. I’m an artist and use it for all types of things. I’ve bought all different types and brands over the years. This is the only one that doesn’t dry up and I end up tossing out most of the bottle.

I used this to attach some frustrating plastic pieces where cement just wasn’t cutting it. Worked perfectly on the first try, and these pieces ain’t budging an inch! Super easy to use, it’s nice and thick which makes it easy to apply confidently.

The bottle is large and will hopefully last a long time. I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t dry up inside too quickly once it’s been opened.

I use this when assembling my plastic scale model cars. Sometimes it sticks well, and sometimes it doesnt. Ive thought I had parts sufficiently glued together, only to have something come apart. CA seems to be a little tricky.

However, it is for the most part a great glue to use for model assembly. Less glue and less mess than model cement. DO NOT get this on clear parts such as windows and windshields. You cant get it off, and youll always be able to see the glue smudge!.

I use it with an accelerant takes seconds to cure for immediate use of whatever you glued. I cut my thumb up pretty bad, lol. wanted to go swimming so I glued it, 2 weeks later I cant find where I cut it.

I use it on wood, my tent, popsicle stick projects and things that would take too long to explain. Love it, saved me lots of $$ on repairing instead of replacing.

Do not purchase – buy anything else. You well get better bonding from elmers glue, or even an elementary school gluestick. The strength of the adhesive is laughable, and on the bottle it says cure in 10-45 seconds which is totally inaccurate.

At best it STARTS to cure in 10-45 minutes, but will still be gummy and without structure for two or more hours. I bought it thinking it would be of similar quality to regular gorilla glue used in woodworking – but their superglue must have been designed by someone’s toddler.

So, Gorilla Glue. I knew this would be strong as the name carries weight. What I didnt know, however, was quite how strong it was. I originally bought this to fix my shoes, the sole had come away from one of them.

Little did I realise that later on, hilarity would ensue. Left out in the open, my housemates took it upon themselves to dispose of an old pan by gluing it to a door. We knew itd hold well but this pan DOES NOT BUDGE.

It is fixed there, like a singular point in time. Unmoving. Eternal. Gorilla Glue is fantastic. Everyone should buy some just to have it around.

The price is great, but this gel was made in China while the regular HFT super glue I purchased before came from India. My first shock was when I opened a tube and had it squirt out a lot of the glue due to internal tube pressure.

I was outside in 65-degree weather in the shade, so heat was not a problem. The second shock was when I discovered that the tube was mostly filled with air with very little actual product in the tube.

This repeated itself for the next two tubes. I never did get enough out of one tube to finish my project, and my having to open another tube caused a delay in the bonding which ended up being a disaster.

This was my first mishap with HFT, and I hope this is my last.

There is no question the super glue in these tubes is very effect with a surface solidification time of some 20-30 seconds, which is actually longer than the product package states. The big caveat is that I have found with these tubes is that the dispensing tip clogs and solidifies before you have used all of the product.

Th saving grace, fortunately, is that you have 10 rubes to use, so the overall cost per tube is low enough so that you don’t mind having to discard a tube before it is completely empty. You can also poke holes in the tube to get out more glue to use.

Super glue is best for things that fit tightly together, such as broken china, where only a very thin layer of glue is needed. It can also be used as first aid for cuts, to hold the skin together while it heals! It makes sense to buy many small tubes instead of one big one, because it may harden in the tube if you don’t close it up tightly.

If that happens, no problem, you just open another tube.

I purchased this glue to use on a ceramic pitcher I dropped and broke. It had hairline cracks that made it unable to hold liquid anymore. I just placed a small amount along all the hairline cracks and now it holds liquid fine! So glad it worked.

Never been a fan of Superglue as it rarely lives up to the expectation. Needed this to repair a beloved pair of trainers i was not ready to part with. Whole trainer was in perfect condition but the sole had split around the sealing edge resulting in the front of the sole flapping under my foot whenever i lifted it and letting water in.

Seeing as the sole itself was still fully intact, it had just come unstuck along the original join, i gathered it should be repairable if i could purchase the right adhesive. Saw this, was impressed by the reviews and thought id try it.

The bottle is easy to use, nice simple lid that seals appropriately to stop the glue drying out and allows a nice fine application with the thin nozzle. I was generous with my application as i did not want to have to repeat, a nice layer of glue applied along the edge i needed sealing before setting into a vice to hold the seal in place while it dried.

Left it over night and the following day checked it out. Perfect seal all the way round and now firmly held in place. There was a little residue after drying, it is a clear gel to start and dries a frostycloudy white colour.

Being on the sole of the trainer i was not bothered by this but you may need to be more careful if wanting a perfect finish for your task. Several months on, i have worn the trainers quite a few times since and still holding strong.

Very impressed by this as i did not expect the hold to last if im honest. My only criticism is that the bottle does not come full, I had enough glue to do what i needed, but why waste the plastic manufacturing a bottle larger than is required Lots of companies need to consider this at present.

Nonetheless, good product, would recommend.

I have fairy figurines from my childhood, and unfortunately some of their wings were broken during a move. I wasn’t sure if there would be a glue that would work for the material they’re made of (since I’m not quire sure but think it may be some type of resin), and if it did I was worried about the glue expanding and it being very obvious that they’ve been repaired.

This glue was perfect for the job at hand, it doesn’t expand while drying and doesn’t dry to a hazy color so it’s obvious if you get a little dollop somewhere else, plus a very little goes a long way! Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of the glue and how easy it is to use.

First, some reviewers have pointed out that the bottle is larger than is actually needed to hold the volume of glue supplied. Rather than being an attempt to mislead, the reason for the large bottle seems to be to allow easy shaking of the contents and thus avoid the experience of a small bottles contents going solid.

As for the glue itself, it seems fine. More of a liquid than I was expecting, it nevertheless stuck part of a broken frying pan handle back in place quickly and effectively. And you dont need much the instructions advise against more than a drop per square inch.

So, a decent superglue that can definitely be recommended.

Nice thin consistency and thin tip for dispensing. It’s nice that I can adjust the length of the tip as well depending on what I need for my piece for the best control or access. Would recommend.
