20 Best Glue For Swarovski Crystals (2023 Updated)

I just started using this as I’m on the journey of making snow globe tumblers and I must say, this is great for sticking rhinestones down! It was intimidating at first because the nozzle is big and a lot comes out at once (I’m buying separate bottles) but I managed to spread it out and make it work.

It always dried down clear. I did get this on my skin, it doesn’t dry down right away, and I had no irritation. I scrubbed my tumbler with the soft part of my scrub daddy, with soap and water, no gem out of place.

I recommend to my fellow crafters. ALSO: I didn’t sand down any parts I glue the gems down neither. I was scared to mess up so I just glued them straight on. (4 stars if you’re working solely with this bottle because the nozzle is a pain).

I love this glue I use it to adhere my Swarovski crystals to many different materials and surfaces. I also use it to glue crystals onto my nails. The glue dries crystal clear but doesn’t dry instantly.

I glued crystals to a hoodie about a year and a half ago and have washed it many times the crystals are still on the hoodie.

I bought this online. When I opened it I noticed that the glue that came out was clear and thin. basically water. I went on YouTube to check how GemTac is supposed to look. it’s supposed to be a gel.

yeah. mine didn’t look like that at all. I squeezes my bottle and felt something hard inside which I guess is the dried out glue, I think the water separated from the glue when this happened which is why all I was able to squeeze out was water.

I will never buy glue online again. Next time I’ll go to the store. I usually never have problems with Michael’s! This was so weird and disappointing.

For crafts, repairs, multi-purpose glue. Most definitely there’s a reason its America’s favorite glue. And it truly is. Even says it right here on the bottle. Aleene’s Tacky Glue is all it says it is, and more.

Ultra strong,dries clear,nontoxic smell. Glues everything. Can even glue everything to anything. Wood, leather, metal, plastic, styrofoam, fabric. It’s amazing.

Have been using it for years on all kinds of projects (mostly rodeo queen clothing & horse tack). Always holds up for a long time. Tough, clear, and definitely worth it! Wish it hadn’t become so hard to find lately.

I was amazed how fast and well it glues. I wouldn’t use it for wide areas because it is not runny, rather thick, but if you have something difficult to glue on a journal page for example, I recommend this, because it glues fast and really well.

I also repaired things with that, and it holds very well. I am very glad with my purchase, It is a must-have!.

I used this for the first time this wk. It wasn’t bad at all. I usually stick to what I always use but I saw it at #hobbylobby and I bought it out of curiosity, and it’s really good!! And not messy at all.

And dries clear!!.

Two failures at first. First effort glued well, but the dishwasher (too soon?) ruined my effort. Second effort failed because I didn’t clean the surface from left over glue from failed first attempt.

Third time worked well. I probably won’t chance dishwasher. Too much effort! It is evidently a sensitive substance. In all three attempts I used the substance generously, ignoring the suggested amount per square inch.

I think this rule of thumb is not helpful. My surface, a broken glass foot was very narrow and not long. But I decided to at least touch the entire surface with the glue.

Loctite has always been my go to for adhesives. so when I had to glue a glass post to brass, I knew it was not going to be easy to find anything that would work. WRONG! After cleaning both pieces (brass with sandpaper, and glass with alcohol) I put one drop of Loctite Glass Glue on the brass, and pressed the glass on it for 60 seconds.

Then I let it cure for 24 hours. Perfect repair, solid as a rock!.

I’ve had mixed results with Loctite products in the past. It seems as though they require an exacting procedure and a certain type of break in order to work correctly. This “glass-repair” variation, though, worked quite well to repair a difficult break — a delicate extrusion on a glass sculpture.

After a week — and another blow to the repaired area that I feared might have caused the repair to fail — it’s held up pretty well. So I was pretty happy with the results.

Brought this as a high temperature epoxy filler to cover up an electrical repair. Quick setting (mix and immediately fill else it goes too thick). Seemed to go hard within an hour. Left over night and was rock solid the next day.

Also used as body filler on a car panel repair. Was easy to apply and sand down afterwards. Didnt seem to stick very well to shiny metal, like aluminium or stainless steel, hence only 4*.

Sorted crack on my vw new beetle plastic bumper. It was about 20 cm long and this amount of resin was enough. I drilled holes on both sides of the crack and support it from back with plastic, builders mash.

Araldite is very smooth to work with. Takes very little effort to mix both components. Has long working time, it is stated 90 mins but I did a job in about 8 mins and during application on and around crack, it had nice texture, enough smooth to place it where I want but hard enough not to drop.

Hopefully my wife will pay more attention on walls, other cars bumpers and bollards so I wouldn’t need any of this repair stuff but reality is that in about two months I am at Halfords buying new Araldite.

I was tasked with repairing an old Swarovski figurine and researched how best to do it. It was only then that I became aware of the existence of epoxy that dries clear and colourless. I’m sure there are unbranded versions that are cheaper but the Araldite product was easy to use and did the job perfectly.

Make sure you read the instructions before use and DO NOT mix up the tube caps or you’ll only get to use the glue once.

I craft and make a variety of items from cards, sublimation through to lasering. Stickles may seem costly compared to others but, there is a reason. I’ve tried the cheaper versions but none come close.

Stickles goes such a long way. I’m always surprised at how long it lasts but, the real beauty of Stickles is the glitter. It had the most amazing sparkle, hold your project under light or in daylight and be amazed at how much sparkle such a small amount contains.

I won’t use anything else.

I have purchased three Energel pens in the past year. All three have broken. The clicking mechanism, which is made of plastic, breaks after a while. It needs a new design or make the button/clicker out of metal.

I will no longer recommend or purchase these pens.

The first time I bought these, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them. However, after using them for quite awhile now, I’m a huge Stickle Fan! There’s so many unlimited uses for this product, and the a wide variety of colors to chose from.

I’ve used them to add a little sparkle to my stamping projects, such as cards, scrapbooks etc. I’ve found that you can take just about anything, including actual store bought greeting cards, and add just a touch of more elegance! When they dry, there’s no “glue” residue.

It dries clear and all that’s visible is your glitter! The bottle tip gives you more precise maneuvering as well! I’ve even used them on felt cutout embellishments, added some stickle sparkle to them and have used them as holiday wall decals! It’s almost endless what you can do with this product.

Not too mention, the product goes a long ways!! This is a must in my craft room!! It’s one of those products I make sure to always have on hand!.

the bonding of this glue is good but it does make a little mess. it gets all over the out side of the opening of the tube. then its on your fingers. it dont wash off you got to wear it off. but it does do good on the binding and drying fast.

i am buying it again.

This jewelry glue is very easy to use. Adheres to your jewelry piece you are trying to fix. The amount of glue you use is easily controlled and it dries very quickly. I would purchase it again.

Arrived early! This craft glue great for making dollhouses. Dries clear and bonds quickly while still giving short amount of time to move parts. Works well with wood, paper, and plastic. Would not use anything else.

The Mehron AdGem really holds gems well! I used it to create some bling with large gems, and it held up to the weight and over time! No overpowering smell, and really sticks to the skin. Lokking forward to using it for SFX work around Halloween!.

Touted as the strongest lash glue (my friends used it as faux cils glue), I tried my self the big bottle. But during those hectic time of make up for show, I forgot to close tightly and the glue spilled to my make up brushes !!!.

So now I decided to buy the smaller tube one, to refrain from spilling episode number 2.

Gets tacky quicker than Duo, and has better holding power. I just wish there was a larger size in the tube component.

Have used this glue for years with NO problems. Dries quickly. Let dry completely for 24 hours before sliding projects behind plastic inserts or plastic could become wrinkly or wavy. After that it’s safe and perfect for archive.

Perfect for mounting archival pictures and embellishments into albums or scrapbooks.

Very happy with this glue when sticking magnets onto plastic. Spills clean up easy being water base and when it dries its super tough. I left it about 12-24 hours. I researched craft glues before Choosing this one, as its non toxic.

This is a fantasic glue. Water based, holds like superglue. Dries clear. Cant rate this highly enough. I use it for scale modelling, and it doesnt affect the plastic or paint like other glues do

Did not get the correct glue. Can’t figure out how to contact the seller. He is a seller that sells through Walmart. I needed the permanent waterproof glue.

This stuff works great on craft objects that are heavy, oddly shaped, or don’t fit together well. We apply it with wooden craft or popsicle stick (not included), and it allows the kids to stick things together without having to hold them in place too long (you know children’s attention spans.

) I can’t speak to permanent adherence, but I can’t think of a time when any child’s project came apart before leaving the library when using this product. I would recommend it to anyone crafting with kids, or who does collage or three-dimensional craft projects.

Awesome glue! Thick and holds quickly, dries clear. Just what I needed to complete some holiday wreaths~!

The glue is fine when used for fixing the correct materials but the thin nossle is a mixed blessing. Great for precision but very hard not to over squeeze the tube so it just keeps oozing out and 1. You can end up with too much glue where you don’t want it 2.

It’s usually still coming out as you replace the lid (you’ll need good eyesight for this btw as the lid has a needle which goes inside the nossle to prevent blockage) which means the nossle will be glued to the lid when you next use it and will snap off so no more precision and no way to fit the cap.

If you can be more careful than I’m capable of you may have more luck but I’m wasting most of the tube. I’d still recommend this though and will buy it again but depending on the precision needed you may want to try a uv glue pen instead.

I was looking for an alternative to CA glue & after reading several reviews decided on this, I wasnt disappointed. With a tiny,thin applicator/nozzle its designed for precise work such as jewellery repairs.

I use it to attach photo etch parts to my model tanks, Doesnt have the instant grab like super glue so you have a few seconds to position your attached to be parts with precision. I like this glue as its not so brittle as super glue.

The only issue is the tiny thin wire attached to the cap is a hit or miss affair for someone with eye sight as poor as mine so I rely more on feeling for the hole in the tube to put the cap back on. All in all Id prefer this glue to C.

A adhesive every time so I would definitely recommend.

If I wasn’t really impressed with this product, I wouldn’t be taking the time to pass on what I have learned. I have been modeling for just over a year, learning the ropes and exercising diversification in the subject matter; n scale trains and layouts, plastic models, primarily military aircraft and equipment, plastic ships, and Balsa/Basswood RC airplane kits.

In the process I have acquired a dozen or so glues of different functionalities but seems each has it’s unique niche. I recently obtained a wooden, commercial ship and in it’s initial construction I tried what I had and nothing worked satisfactorily enough to suit me.

not a perfectionist, but picky. The ship is a square rigged sailing ship of the late 1800’s era with lots of rigging consisting of sewing thread on the model. Couldn’t get anything to work on attaching the rat lines to the rigging especially, allowing for a neat, realistic looking job that was workable.

This glue was perfect for the little + joints where the thread crossed itself and other places where a fine point of viscous glue was needed. On that ship, attaching the rigging lines to the spars and masts looked initially to be a daunting task.

Not so. A half turn of thread around the tip of the spar, a dab of this glue, a “clothes pin” for a weight on the free end to provide tension on the line while setting up, and wala. piece of cake. Last, I took ” plexiglas and made a clear, dustproof,showcase for it (12x15x4″) and this glue was perfect for strong, seamless joints that were almost impossible to detect.

Last, for clear plastic parts on your plastic models it’s perfect. Little dab will do and is clear, and dries clear, not attacking the plastic like the glue you use for assembly of the rest of the plastic model which is designed to melt the plastic and you don’t want to be melting things like windshields and windows.

It’s also perfect for plastic landing gears, especially on 1/72 and 1/144 scale airplanes where the parts are small and a melting glue just destroys their inherent strength making them weak and difficult to support the weight of the model even after complete drying.

The tiny tip is half the success story. Makes for some really detailed work. The $3 tube goes a long way. I finished the ship and the case and did some sideline work on other models and had about of my first tube remaining.

Cutco products are guaranteed for life. They are made excellently and last for years before you need them replace for free. I use mine everyday and only had to replace 2 pieces in 46 years!!!

Just want people to know this has been watered down. I bought two bottles and couldnt work out why it was so runny and I was ruining all my work. I since bought a bottle from another company within Australia and the difference is incredible.

It is very thick how I knew it should be.

I ordered these pliers to supplement my collection of water pump pliers. The 7 inch pliers work great when working with aluminum gutters. The larger 9 inch pliers are a good substitute for the Channel locks of similar size.

I used this to adhere a genuine leather belt piece and faux suede fringe to the top of a rubber slip on flip flop. (the kind that has a broad strap of rubber that goes across the whole top of the foot).

After a few days, the edge started to come up a bit. It did stay adhered to the rest though. I added a post and screw to the outer and inner edge of the strap to guard against the added strain at those points of the shoe.

I then wore these shoes through mountains, desert and beach and the leather hasn’t moved at all. I love Dazzle Tac. I think it is better than super glue. I also used it on faux leather knots for a bracelets slip square knot thing that holds it closed.

It grabbed instantly and remains solid over months now. I do remember long ago using it on a small bit of metal to metal contact on a bracelet, but it didn’t hold, although I did not rough up the contact points so maybe that is why.

I was recommended this to apply rhinestones to fabric but there are two major issues. It strings just as much as E6000 and it can’t be exposed to steam. That’s a no go for dresses that require steaming for wrinkle removal.

Im so sad because I broke a huge glass Christmas cross that we hang up every year. It only broke into four pieces. When I glued it together I thought it would stay. The next day when I picked it up, the entire thing fell apart.

Im so sad because I thought this stuff would work. Unfortunately, I have to throw it away. Super disappointed.

Purchased this to repair a broken “antique glass” quart milk bottle. I found that it, if it is applied heavier, has good weeping qualities, dries totally clear, and holds quite well. And after letting it set for a very few minutes, and wiping (smearing) off the excess glue, I found that lacquer thinner (on a cloth) would wipe the smeared material off very nicely, especially after a second wipe with a clean cloth.

Also used the same procedure to repair a very dainty glass candy dish, also with excellent results.

The reason I purchased this glue was because I watched an online video where someone used it to apply nail foils to a manicure and they said it was the best glue out there. The glue I got with my nail foils worked okay, but this one really does work better.

The day my glue arrived I wanted to do my nails and try it out, but I didn’t have time. I put the package aside and figured I would just use it another day. However, my daughter “suddenly remembered” she had a major project due at school the next day and she didn’t have any glue.

Mom to the rescue! (again, right?) She used this glue on her project and it dried quickly and completely, the plastic pieces and the poster board she glued them to stuck through a school bus ride to school, during the presentation of her project in school, during the week they were displayed, and home again back on the same rowdy bus ride.

I did eventually use it on my nails and it was great because the foils stuck where I wanted them to stick, and the whole thing removed easily with nail polish remover when I wanted to take them off, and with no damage at all to my nails.

I can’t wait to see what other projects his might work on. I do a lot of crafting making things for friends and family (bridal brooch bouquets, hair accessories, etc. ) so there are several things I would like to try this on.

I sent a message to the company regarding this glue. I wanted to use it to glue buttons onto fabric. They said I could use it for my purpose. When I received the glue, I unscrewed the lid and it was already open and the glue had gone up into the cap and it started dripping and spreading everywhere.

I tried to put the lid back on and glue was escaping around the rim, I got glue all over my table, my fingers and it was a sticky mess. I ruined my first button and had to throw it out. I did not realize that you have to first put a little glue on the back of the button, and then put some on the fabric and let both of them dry first before adhering.

THIS IS SO TIME CONSUMING!! AND NOT PERMANENT. I could pluck off the button after adhering to the fabric. I wanted a glue that would permanently glue the button on and not be able to remove it. I don’t want a lawsuit from a customer who’s child removed and swallowed the button from my item.

I will not be using this glue for my items and it was a waste of my money.

I’ve been paper crafting for many years and I’ve never used a glue that is so versatile and unique. The applicator tip is so tiny and clog free that I don’t even need to purchase an alternate precision tip.

My trash can is now full of glue bottles and tubes of adhesive that I no longer need or want! Thanks Scraperfect for a wonderful product!!!.
