20 Best Glue For False Eyelashes (2023 Updated)

As an individual with sensitive eyes, I was happy to try this. I applied the glue once across the lash band, then added a dab more on the ends to ensure a secure hold. The glue has a light white milky look when it goes on and dries down to a clear-ish-matte texture (approximately 30 seconds later).

It did not irritate my eye upon application nor during the first 30 minutes of wear. Unfortunately, after 4 hours the lash ends began to rise up, I assume due to my oily eyelids. On my second attempt testing the glue, I used a hack I found on social media and applied the glue directly to my lash line.

The glue got tacky quickly and the lashes held on more securely and did not have raised edges after 6 hours of wear. To remove I used an oil-based eye makeup remover to ensure it breaks the glue down and does not leave any behind.

Though I prefer the Velour’s 3-in-1 Lash Liner, this is also a great alternative for those no-makeup-makeup days.

So I’ve tried a TON of lash glues. Ardell? Horrible. Tarte? Even worse. But Velour? YES. I use the black glue over top of my eyeliner and let me tell you, I have been on rollercoasters in blistering heat, sweating with this lash glue and they’ve stuck on just fine + withstood the rest of the day afterwards.

I have super oily eyelids and it still stays on nicely. I don’t use any primers or mascaras before applying either. They come off easy at the end of the day and the residue is not sticky or stringy either so it comes off with just regular facial soap and water.

It’s easy to clean off your falsies as well. The brush applicator is my favorite too. Highly recommend to anyone looking to change up their lash game.

I am also on the hunt for new lash adhesive because I am very specific about what I want in my glue. This checked off a few boxes right off the bat. A hard exterior is mandatory so it doesn’t explode all over my products in my makeup bag as well as minimal to no scent detectable when applying to lashes.

Finally, this glue has a wonderful thin and tapered brush too which made precise application a breeze. However, when it came to actual adhesion this glue fell short. On clean, lightly powdered eyelids with no makeup applied, the glue hd a very weak hold and my inner corners would not stick no matter how long I held them down with my lash tweezers.

In the end I had to apply a double coat of the glue with one initial layer and a second when the first was getting tacky as well as notably, a giant gob in my inner corners. Unsure if due to hooded eyes but this glue was just alright.

I will of course continue to use it due to the fact that it has no off putting scent like some other brands do and as a small plus, it has the prettiest blue iridescence to it!.

Wow! I absolutely LOVE this glue and all of Stacy lash products! This glue has low fumes and hasn’t caused any irritation to my clients, this glue also gives me great retention no matter the weather or humidity in my lash room.

I have used this glue for a while and can definitely say it’s one of my favorites that I always will keep on hand! Great packaging, great products, and great customer service from Stacy! 1000/10 recommend!.

I am a seasoned lash artist and have been trying different adhesives for years. I have been a big fan of Stacy Lash products ever since I discovered them on YouTube. This adhesive in particular, gives my clients the best retention and no one complains about fumes.

I like the viscosity and the way it adheres to the natural lash. I also love their sensitive formula in the white bottle.

Im pretty new to the lash game and wanted to try new products out. Luckily I didnt have to try many out because I fell in love with Stacy lash glue ! Ive used 2 of their adhesives but my favorite so far is the Extra strong Evolution.

Usually my clients will complain about their eyes burning but when I switched glues multiple clients mentioned how their eyes no longer burned. I had a client come back for a fill after two weeks and I was shocked at how amazing her retention was.

She still had almost 75% of her lashes left ! I couldnt believe it :).

I live in a low humidity, high temperature environment so The One is a great, thin texture adhesive that is super easy to work with. I go back and forth between The One and Clear Connection. It’s like children or Fur Babies— I just can’t pick a favorite because they are different viscosities and I love having options depending on the weather, type of lashes, or color of lashes.

I just love ‘em both! Give them a try. This could be The One for you.

I am SO happy I found this glue! I can’t tell you how much my clients’ retention has improved with this adhesive. I have humidifier in my lash room, and even with using the mister at the end of my application, the lashes would not stay on for long.

My humidity is normally 35% so I have to have the humidifier on. After I tried this glue with and without the humidifier running, the results were amazing! Even the application itself is so flawless and easy, the glue consistency is just perfect! I will definitely be ordering this every 2 months! thank you!.

This is a triple og. When I was a kid, my mom used this in the 70s. The tube is the same as it was then. All I have to say is, if isn’t broke don’t fix it! I’ve tried tons of different glues and nothing works like this.

Quality and price are always the best benefit. You apply, wait to get tacky and you can work with it for a sec before it 100 dries. I always go for no color over black. Even though I wear black eyeliner and mascara.

Black can be messy and hard to remove if you make a mistake. There is no scent and if yours has a scent, toss it! You don’t want bacterial infections. Make sure to cap it and it will last you. This tiny little tube will last you a while even if you are a daily stripper 😂.

bought this after using that HORRIBLE Duo adhesive. I love this glue, it holds my lashes in place all day removing them is so easy no tugging pulling like with the Duo. When I wash off my makeup at night there is no residue.

The Duo was impossible to remove. It smells pretty bad but hey most lash adhesives have a weird scent. I purchased the clear unlike the Duo it really is clear the Duo left white spots. Like another reviewer mentioned I don’t apply the adhesive directly to the lashes I apply a small drop on my lash case I use a clean toothpick pick up some glue and apply it to the false lash making sure to concentrate enough product on the inner corners.

I love this I will keep repurchasing!.

I have the dark adhesive eyelash glue, and when I put it on my eyelashes I smelled this HORRIBLE rotting smell. It was coming directly from the glue and the tube. It smelled like death and I had to start my makeup over just to get rid of the smell.

I was nauseous for a while because the smell was so hard to get rid of.

This eyelash glue is top tier. ! This is the only glue i can use. it sticks wonderfully and it’s very affordable. ! I’ve tried numerous glues and this one is the only one that holds. i strongly recommend.

Both times I used the glue my eyelids got swollen and my eyes would get red. Even when I sweated the glue would burn my eyes unlike any other. I never had such a bad experience with Eyelash Glue before like with this one.

If you plan to buy, I would suggest you to buy only one to test just in case. I had previously bought the dark glue and days later ended up with Conjunctivitis but wasn’t aware it was from the glue so be careful.

I usually use the clear Ardell individual lash glue but thought I’d give this one a try, will definitely be buying this again next time as apposed to clear. Gives more of a thicker look closer to the lash line too.

My lashes seem to fall off quickly on the ends but that must be due to me sleeping as the middle and corner stay on fine so I think that’s just me. Overall, good glue and lasts a while. Would buy again!.

Do NOT use this product. It took days to get the smallest amount out of my lash line and it ripped out my natural lashes along with it. Incredibly painful, I wouldn’t be surprised if they used some form of superglue in their formula.

Smelled like superglue too.

So I have the brush on adhesive that I couldn’t find on here, but anyway it’s really nice it has biotin and rosemary infused so it’s good for the eyelash, I don’t use any other adhesive but this one because it’s dark and it really sticks all day you can even wear it for two days if you wanted to.

It doesn’t irritate your eyes like most do. .

Let me start by saying I love the companion eyelash glue in the original formula. Works great have no problems been impressed for the last year that I’ve been using it. When I went to order three more tubes the original formula was sold out so I bought three tubes in the winter formula.

I’m really not a fan I mean it does work it’s just not as effective in my opinion. I can’t wait for the original to get back in stock! 5 stars on orginal formula. 3 stars winter formula.

This is the easiest eyelash glue to work with! I’ve never experienced anything like this formula before! You don’t really “need to wait” for the glue to get tacky. I just put it on right away and it immediately adheres.

It’s forgiving and allows readjustments when still wet, but once it’s dry, it stays put!! And zero white residue. It dries completely clear! This glue is literally the only thing you don’t need to worry about.

Also, not once have I experienced a sloppy mess like I have with other glues. This is literally the perfect eyelash glue ever to exist.

I’ve used a LOT of lash glue from all over the world as I’m a retired nurse who has had the amazing opportunity to work in sooo many countries!!! As a crazy makeup obsessed female, I’ve always worn lashes because mascara irritates my eyes to no end and when I say I’ve tried em ALL, I mean brands you’ve never heard of in languages I don’t speak and have NO idea what was even in the glue! I was young and foolish and ego driven about my looks.

I’m about 10% of that now. Now, my life has changed. Everything happens for a reason as they say, I’ve yet to figure out mine but I’m not negative nor am I a victim so I make best out of what I have.

Well, one of the thing that I do NOT have is a full “normal” set of my OWN body grown lashes. I know it’s the medication but I still was NOT giving up. Clearly extensions are not going to work so, after a TON of google research I found Esquido!!! Please understand that I KNOW this glue is NOT to sit on bare skin and I’m not quite doing that as I do have a few sparse whispers of lashes but I’ll be honest, it’s 50/50 that they are on my whisky home grown lashes and on my skin.

It’s my body and what have I got to lose. I am NOT saying you do it my way as I took EVERYTHING to my oncologist and my dermatologist and my ophthalmologist and they all said that there is nothing in the glue that can hurt you.

Worst case scenario, I’ll get a rash (Which I did NOT thank heaven!!!) and I was told do NOT get it IN your eye. That’s pretty fundamental when it comes to anything about the eye short of contacts. Don’t stick stuff in your eye.

Got it? Good. So, my glue and lashes came (tiny issue with my lashes, pun intended, which the amazing Lea fixed in 2 minutes because she’s AMAZZZING like everyone at Esquido IMO) and I tore that package open like a starved badger! Straight up to my 20x mirror, glue on, blow lightly till tacky (oh, I had to trim each end a bit as my eyes aren’t quite as big as I thought lol) and on they went! Minor adjustments.

This product has been a game changer for me! No more waiting for lash glue to dry! I can get both my lashes on in 1 min. The only thing I will say is you have to work fast as the glue liner dries very fast.

I used this for the first time today and I’m in love. Only thing I will say is I don’t know how this would perform on lashes with thick lash bands. I tend to use lashes with invisible or very thin lash bands.

I’m not sure if this would be strong enough for lashes with really thick stiff lash bands. However I am yet to remove this eyeliner. (First used today and not removed yet). Hoping I can get it off easily as I do use oil based makeup remover to remove my stubborn waterproof mascara anyway.

I would personally recommend this as it makes putting on lashes so much quicker, easier and less stressful. I don’t have to worry about ruining my eye makeup due to accidentally putting a lash on when the glue still too wet.

Hence why I was very suprised by the other reviews left here. I got this after seeing some good YouTube Reviews. Just remember to work fast and use with lashes that have a thinner lash band.

I kinda low key hate writing reviews because I’m lazy but this lash glue liner is so amazing, I have to let others know about it! I’m relatively new to applying false eyelashes and my hands are just too shaky to be able to apply falsies the normal way by applying glue on the band first.

And because of the shakiness, I like to hold my eyeliner pretty darn close to the felt tip where the liquid comes out so options that have a brush you dip into a tube are less than ideal since I can’t hold them the same way.

So when I saw Kiss made a felt tip glue liner, I knew I had to try it and I’m so glad I did. I was afraid the glue itself wouldn’t have as much hold but as long as you do a few layers, it sticks just as good as the regular tried and true Duo everyone loves.

I can finally apply lashes now AND they stay on all day too. I would give this more stars if I could lol. Tldr; phenomenal all around product that’s a massive game changer for ppl that don’t have the greatest dexterity and/or beginners to using falsies.

Now, I want to start off by saying I’m not the master of lashes, but I can definitely do them pretty ok. I bought this because I wanted the 2 in 1 it offers, liner and lash glue. But by god this is actually the worst thing I’ve ever had in my collection.

My spit could be a better glue than this thing. And to be fair, I gave it a try for a full 6 months, all with different lashes, no makeup on, applied to my eye, applied to the lashes, etc. No matter what I do I can’t make this work.

It dries after like 5 seconds, and doesn’t even hold the lashes that well. Weirdly enough, it takes the strength of god to scrub off the remaining glue on your eyelids. It’s to the point where I tell everyone looking at this not to but it, and I will buy another glue for them.

Seriously. This thing has put me in tears more times than I’ve successfully used it on lashes. I’m glad some of the other people using this has had success, but if you’re a beginner I would highly recommend staying away from this.

Buy this ASAP! I have NEVER been able to do strip lashes on my shirt, straight lashes until I bought this glue! The formula makes it easy to reposition if needed, and the glue lasts all day! I love that it’s black so when the glue dries, it’s almost invisible! I apply my plan strips under my natural lashes for the most natural look.

Seriously, this lash glue is one of my favorite products. I now use strip lashes everyday without irritation. I even forget I’m wearing them most of the time. I recommend all strip lash users try this.

It used to take 20 minutes or more to put on lashes because the glue would take forever, or I would wait too long and it would dry so I’d have to start over. Or The glue would somehow get on my lower lashes causing my eyelids to stick together.

Or it felt wet in some spots and was annoying all day. Or my eyes would tear up may in the glue come loose. Glue would get on my fingers, the applicator, my counter top. The glue would come out in globs or in air bubbles making a mess on the lashes, sometimes ruining them.

Everyone was a gamble and an awful time-consuming experiment. I was using DUO and Ardell. They were horrible! I tried this I-Envy story hold glue years ago but I didn’t wear lashes often and J just the it away cuz I didn’t need it really and I didn’t appreciate what I had.

So I bought it again years later and boy am I so overjoyed and glad that I did. I got it from the beauty supply store and they keep it hidden behind the counters. So people won’t steal it. Lol. So anyway.

I used it today and I had my lashes on in 3 minutes! I swear it was that fast! I will never go back to using anything else. Any other glue will have to top this! This glue is amazing! The brush is very thin and makes it so easy to apply the perfect amount and dries so fast but not too fast.

It doesn’t have that nasty latex smell like DUO and Ardell. It’s just so wonderful. I would give it 10 stars if I could! I had my lashes on so fast, I couldn’t believe it. I had more time to do my makeup and stuff.

You gotta at least try it. It’s like $7??? TRY IT!.

I love this product! I typically used hair glue on my lashes (not the best idea) and I noticed that my lashes weren’t lasting long due to how hard it is to get hair glue off of the lash band. I switched to this product and have been wearing the same pair of mink lashes since 11/19!!! They’re finally starting to lose quality after over two months of continuous use.

The glue is easy to apply/remove. I’m rating 4 stars vs. 5 due to how long it takes the glue to dry. I’d recommend allowing about 90-120 seconds for the glue to dry and become tacky. If not, your lashes will slide off.

Still a great buy!.

When I say I’m a newbie, I mean it. This was only my 2nd attempt at applying false lashes after failing with the magnetic kind. The magnets type had an unsatisfactory liner you had to use with them, and it was a real struggle for my first try so I thought I’d try the regular glue on kind so I’d need some glue.

I read a few reviews and found that the clear ones weren’t really clear, so I decided to go with a black adhesive since that would match the lashes best. I decided to try 4Ever Grip Bond Eyelash Adhesive for my second attempt at applying lashes.

The instructions are straightforward. Apply to lash edge, let dry 15 seconds then apply to lash line. The applicator is a little spatula and it was easy to use to apply the adhesive to the lash. I waited the 15 seconds and stuck it on my lash line.

I’m guessing I need to apply a bit more adhesive on the ends or coax the lashes into curving more since I wasn’t very successful in getting the lash to stick to my eyelid on the ends. The rest of the lash stuck great and was pretty comfortable.

Since I’m a newbie though, I can’t fault the adhesive, only my technique. As a newbie though, it was super easy to use, and no mess at all. Kudos for that.

I’m a hair glue on lash girl. But I know it’s technically not safe so I’ve been looking for actually lash glue that has the same hold. I grabbed this by chance and I’m glad I did. IM NEVER USING HAIR GLUE ON MY LASHES AGAIN! This is really an holy grail.

Ran across this as I was in a hair store. I tried it because it was free of formaldehyde, latex and hypoallergenic. Prior glues and magnetic eyeliner broke me out at the end of the day and made my eyelids itch.

Purchased this and I am a forever customer. No irritation at all.

Ok- I have the most sensitive skin, eyes, EVERYTHING. I also have the best lash artist in the world. We had been using a glue that didn’t cause a reaction, but i had to see her 2x A WEEK. She and I have tried several glues claiming to be sensitive only to end up with golf ball eyes.

Damond sensitive seems to be working!! She is putting a few lashes on at at time to gage sensitivity- My eyelid is only slightly itchy for 1 day (don’t play with your lashes!) not swollen, not painful and the lashes look amazing.

Liked the coin pocket with snap button flap. Good to have this on inside of wallet so coins don’t fall out if flap becomes unbuttoned. The inside flap that holds 3 card slots do not fit any of my credit cards so they are effectively useless slots.

I forced one credit card into the topmost one but when I needed the card I had a real hard time pulling my credit card out. Forget about the the other 2 card slot, they are even tighter. If you want to put your credit cards in them then you’ll have to cut 1/8 inch off your plastic cards Zipper is fine, no hang ups.

As for the RFID, I did not have a way to test whether this works so I don’t know if the RFID claim is real or not. Leather is not so soft but more stiffer.

I recently tried a new glue that the girls at my salon have switched to, Lonris Volume Advanced Ultra+. Me and my clients were so happy with the results. The packaging has a very chic and luxury design.

The glue is very good and flexible to work with, and has a very fast dry time (at least 1-2 sec) and can last about 2 months. Now that’s a fantastic bond for volume lashes. Strongly recommend to everyone!.

This lash adhesive is quite literally the worst eyelash glue I’ve ever used. I have used false eyelashes extensively in the past, and I am certainly no newbie when it comes to applying them. This being said, I could not get this adhesive to work.

It’s awful. First, it is way too watery. It will splatter and drip off of the brush. Second, it does not stick. The lashes were barely holding on even after allowing the adhesive to dry. There is no way this would have lasted a night out or even for a photoshoot.

This product was so disappointing for such a well known lash brand. I hate giving such “extreme” reviews, but unfortunately this product did not deliver.

This was unfortunately the worst lash glue I have EVER tried before! This glue was so wet and heavy on the lash, that quickly after applying on the lash. the lash literally told it’s natural curve and went flat.

It was very hard to tell when the glue was tacky enough and ready for application since it just looks black. After trying to apply it the (first attempt) the glue was so wet and runny still that it got all over my eye lid and looked like black ink on my lash line! I waited a little longer the glue took a lot longer to become tacky than other brands I have tried.

(Second attempt) The glue was a little tackier it still felt extremely wet when it touched my lash line, and the glue made it hard to set the lash over the lash line even on the second attempt. Finally after the lash laid flat against my lash line, the inner corners of the lash started to lift up and away from my eye.

This glue was the hardest to work with, and it took so much longer to apply since I had to go back and make little corrections and adjustments. I will not be purchasing this glue again, and I would not recommend it, especially if it’s your first time experimenting with lashes!.

I wish I could give this lash glue a -5 star review. This is the absolute worst lash glue I’ve ever tried to use. I’m experienced with false lashes and have never had as much trouble with a glue as I did with this one.

The glue is very wet when you apply it to the band, like more liquidy than most glues are. It didn’t get tacky enough after any amount of time, so the lashes had nothing to hold them onto my lash line.

It just skipped the tacky phase and went straight from wet to dry. This glue is absolutely impossible to work with. I tried 4 times on each eye to make it work to no avail, and honestly for the price, it is not worth it.

I’ll stick to my Huda lash glue.

This is hands-down the best eyelash glue you could ever buy. Everyone else leaving a one star saying that it’s too sticky, it dries white, it doesn’t dry at all, it doesn’t work, just say you don’t know how to use eyelash glue period and move on 😂 this glue will not only keep your eyelashes on in a tornado, but it is multi purpose.

I have re-glued fingernails back on with this, fixed the rubber grip on my ring light, fixed a shoe, etc. You cry easily like me? Say less and buy this glue. Your eyelashes themselves might be a little janky but the glue will persevere and keep them on tight.

Also, if you’re one of the people who are having a hard time removing this glue once you were done, maybe you should invest in a better make up remover or try a little harder when you take it off. I know for a fact I use more than I probably should and I still get it all off at the end of the day.

I have been actively using this eyelash glue for years now and I refuse to buy any other brand. I would love to be an advocate, spokes person, brand representative for this eyelash glue because it will seriously glue your life back together.

I love my lashes. In fact, I wear them every single day that I wear makeup. I was originally using the DUO glue in the tube (blue color), but I was getting frustrated and annoyed that it simply would take forever and make a mess all over my lashes with white gunky glue.

I also tried the brush on DUO and it didn’t stick for me. I remembered a couple of months ago I did purchase the Kiss glue. I went to get it out of my makeup drawer, tried it, and it instantly sticked for me.

It’s a great product. I will continue using it for my everyday lashes. I also love the brush on application.

I love this eyelash adhesive. The bottle is the perfect size and easy to hold. The brush for applying the adhesive is great for getting the adhesive right where you want it. If you need a bit extra after applying the eyelashes, the brush is perfect for adding just a dab to an end or wherever needed.

This adhesive has awesome holding power. I wear my eyelashes all day and night, 12+ hours, and they stay put. Dries clear too. I wouldn’t use any other adhesive and I highly recommend.

Amazing hold. I once was stuck in another state and had my lashes on for 24 hours using this glue. Had very minimal lifting and I even slept in them. You don’t need a lot, but if you like to layer it for optimum hold this product allows it.

It cleans easily off my falsies, allowing them to be reused. Seamless blend into natural lashes with or without mascara on them. My only complaint is that it clumps up in the opening of tube easily so you have to make sure you wipe it off frequently.

I’ve been using this product for over 4 years. I strictly use the clear, which I recommend.

The Tarteist PRO Lash Adhesive in Clear has its pros and cons. First, the pros: – latex free – good for sensitive and/ or allergic eyes – no discernible fragrance – fast drying formula – applicator is easy to use and does well applying a thin, even layer/ line of adhesive – dries perfectly clear – long lasting Cons: – sticky – can be hard to remove – although it dries fast, you have to time everything just right or else it won’t stick – the bottle can mysteriously develop clumps in it after a short period of time Overall, this is a good lash glue and I love that it’s vegan, cruelty- free, latex- free and safe for my very sensitive and allergic eyes.

It’s affordable and I like that it’s clear. For me, the pros outweigh the cons.

Unfortunately for me, this lash glue was not it. I have tried other brands in the past that were easy enough to work with, but I liked the simple ingredients of this glue so I figured I’d give it a shot.

I wish I never did. Following application of the glue, it became so sticky and difficult to work with which resulted in multiple failed attempts, and so I spent 20 minutes painfully removing the glue from my natural eyelashes.

The result: a puffy and pink eyelid, multiple natural lashes gone, and the whites of my eye now red. Truly wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy.

I used magnetic before this, because I felt they would be less damaging, and I was in fact very wrong! This glue is delicate, but not to the point you have to worry about the lashes coming off! Only after 24 hours will I SOMETIMES have to pull them off, and re-apply.

I’ve tested this multiple times, without fail! Great glue, great quality, great price. Just buy it already. You won’t regret it!.

I think it works great with strips and it lasts me a whole day of work and even taking them to the gym after! This glue is amazing and I’m never going back to the old ones.

It does take a while to dry, so be patient. If you’re in a rush I recommend putting the glue on the lashes and doing something else and then come back in a bit. But please try it!! I 10/10 recommend!.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleLetzte oder vorletzte Woche habe ich euch das erste Produkt aus meinem Paket von Ardell vorgestellt, nämlich die brandneuen Magnetic Hold Line Lashes von Ardell.

Da die Wimpern so neu auf dem Markt sind, wollte ich sie gleich als erstes vorstellen, war aber leider überhaupt nicht begeistert. Doch es gibt Hoffnung: in den kommenden Tagen werde ich euch die restlichen “klassischen” Wimpern von Ardell vorstellen, mit denen ich teilweise schon Erfahrungen gemacht habe oder neu kennen gelernt habe.

Und eins kann ich schon einmal verraten: die meisten haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Doch bevor ich mit den Wimpern anfange, wollte ich mit dem absoluten wichtigstem Komponenten anfangen, nämlich dem Wimpernkleber.

Damals, vor vielen Jahren, war Duo gar nicht so breit aufgestellt in Deutschland, weshalb ich eher die Kleber von essence oder Eylure verwendet habe. Das war jetzt also das erste Mal, dass ich Duo tatsächlich ausprobiert habe.

Zur Verfügung gestellt wurde mir der Quick-LSet™ Adhesive in Clear; dem Klassiker aus dem Duo-Sortiment, der inzwischen auch bei den meisten Drogerien mit im Regal hängt. Die Formel gibt es schon seit Ewigkeiten, wobei sie zwischendrim immer mal etwas verbessert wurde.

Doch die Grundsubstanzen sind gleich geblieben. Der Wimpernkleber besteht aus Polymer-Elementen, die auf der Haut als ziemlich effektiver Kleber anhaften und somit eine sehr gute Bedingungen für das anbringen von Wimpern bringen.

Sie sind aber gleichzeitig auch extrem einfach entfernbar, wenn man die richtige Menge verwendet, sogar komplett, ohne einen Entferner zu benötigen. Der Wimpernkleber wird direkt auf den Striplashes angebracht, wobei hier eine wirklich extrem dünne Menge nötig ist.

Der Fehler bei der Verwendung liegt häufig darin, dass man zu viel Kleber verwendet, doch im Grunde genommen, sollte die Menge gerade genug sein, um den blauen Ton des Klebers auf dem Band zu sehen. Die Menge an Kleber sollte außerdem keine sichtbare Erhöhung darstellen, sondern ganz, ganz dünn und eben auf dem Band aufgetragen werden.

Da ich Duo bislang noch nie verwendet habe, war ich extrem überrascht darüber, wie dünn die Lösung eigentlich ist. Mein Go-To war eigentlich immer Eylure (wobei der Preis inzwischen ziemlich nach oben gegangen ist, weshalb ich den Kleber schon lange nicht mehr nachgekauft habe), die Konsistenz war aber immer sehr, sehr dick, sodass man wirklich extrem präzise arbeiten musste.

Bei Duo ist es fast unmöglich zu viel aufzutragen. Am dünnen Applikator haftet nämlich nur eine ganz, ganz dünne Menge, währen der Rest abgestreift wird, bevor man den Applikator überhaupt an die Luft bringt.

Dadurch kann man, selbst wenn man die komplette Menge verwenden würde, kaum zu viel auftragen. Was mir außerdem sehr gut gefiel war, dass der blaue Schimmer, der im flüssigen Zustand vorhanden ist, genau zeigt, wo man Kleber angebracht hat und wo nicht.

Ich z. B. vergesse gerne die absolut äußersten Ecken, sodass ich es hier ganz praktisch finde, dass man am blauen Schimmer erkennt, dass man hier genug aufgetragen hat. Die Wimpern sollten niemals aufgetragen werden, wenn der Kleber noch “flüssig” ist.

Bei Duo erkennt man das daran, dass der blaue Farbton allmählich durchsichtig wird. Sobald nur noch ein leichter, blauer Schimmer zu sehen ist, ist der Kleber im optimalen Zustanden. Dann heißt es nur noch, die Wimper richtig anzusetzen und fest zu drücken, sodass die restliche, flüssige Lösung am Lidrand befestigt wird.

Hier bin ich extrem begeistert davon, wie kurz es dauert, bis sich beide Seiten komplett aneinander gebunden hat. Binnen Sekunden ist der Kleber vollständig mit der Haut verschmolzen und die Wimpern halten selbst extreme Winde sehr gut aus.

Ich habe mich z. B. vor dem Ventilator gesetzt und geschaut, ob die Wimpern sich lösen aber nein: selbst bei starkem (künstlichen) Wind halten sie perfekt fest. Ganz schön ist aber auch die extrem einfache Abnahme.

Obwohl die Wimpern so extrem gut halten und geschützt sind, lässt sich der Kleber super einfach von der Haut entfernen. Ich habe einfach ganz außen die Wimper leicht angehoben und dann vorsichtig abgezogen.

Ich hatte dabei nie wirklich Klebereste auf den Wimpern oder aber auf der Haut, sodass ich die Wimper ganz einfach mit einem Wattestäbchen und ein bisschen Alkohol reinigen konnte. Und beim abschminken verwende ich ja sowieso immer ein Öl, welches auch sehr gut gegen Klebereste ankommt.

Ich habe es einfach wie üblich sanft in mein Auge eingerieben und dann mit einem Waschlappen abgenommen, ohne dass dabei etwas übrig blieb. Ich bin insgesamt echt wahnsinnig begeistert von dem Kleber.

Vor allem, dass er so extrem dünn ist, schnell trocknet und vor allem auch wahnsinnig lange hält, ist für mich ein absolutes Plus. Besonders aber die extrem dünne Konsistenz ist ein Mega-Plus, weil gerade auch Anfänger damit richtig einfach arbeiten können.

Außerdem ist natürlich der Vorteil, dass die Farbe genau angibt, wie “weit” der Kleber ist. Blau: noch komplett flüssig, transparent: getrocknet, noch leicht bläulich: Ready to Go. Übrigens: die Farbe ist tatsächlich komplett transparent UND – was ich als absolut größten Pluspunkt empfinde – WENN man die Wimper doch nochmal abnehmen muss, weil man sie vielleicht falsch gesetzt hat, reißt der Kleber NICHTS weg.

Mein super günstiger Eyeliner sah nach dem abziehen noch genau so gut aus. Man musste also überhaupt nichts korrigieren und ich glaube das ist sogar einer größten Pluspunkte. Von mir gibt es daher eine absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Super einfach in der Anwendung, praktisch und einfach designed und vor allem leistungsstark. Und mit knapp 8-10 Euro (je nach Händler) für 5ml hält der Kleber wirklich Ewigkeiten. Im Vergleich: mein letzter Wimpernkleber (4,5ml) hielt über zwei Jahre.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleNo doubt this formula is DIFFERENT from a traditional lash glue – where you have to wait a solid 60 seconds before it’s tacky enough to apply your lashes. This has a short window of time where the glue is no longer really wet/watery anymore & this is where you have to pay attention bcz it SEEMS like it’s not going to get sticky or SEEMS like it’s not going to adhere well.

It’s during that small window of time when you apply your lash & get it into place bcz in a few more seconds you’ll notice the glue is suddenly super sticky & drying down quickly. This is when there’s no more wiggle room to move the strip around anymore.

It needs to already be in its place during that short window. It’s hard to describe perfectly bcz there is a bit of a learning curve especially if you’re comparing this to a traditional glue wait time.

The wiggle room w/this glue is different; it’s shorter. Take the old wait times & adhering technique out of your head & treat this like something new you’re trying to learn. If you can understand how this glue behaves & work within it’s tacky to dry down timing, I think you’ll like it.

I use a pointed liner brush & put a line across my lash line & one on my strip lash. This gives me more wiggle room to get it in place before it starts to dry down too much. Not everyone will love thus but that’s how it is w/all products.

But there are plenty of reviews of those who have figured out this glue & like it. It’s almost a dead on dupe for the SHEIN/She Glam lash glue (the one in the shiny light purple curved container).

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI’d struggled with lash glue for years. I originally tried a few duo lash glues in the original squeeze tube that has a white cream consistency and that was just a disaster all around.

They all burned my eyes, and seemed to never dry. Then I tried magnetic lashes with the magnetic liner, and that stuff burned my eyes and bled like crazy. Epic fail. After that I found the kiss lash adhesive liner pens and that worked for me for a long time.

It was simple enough and didn’t irritate my eyes, but I found that the liner would eventually stop being sticky after a couple months of having a pen. The liner would still work as liner, but wasn’t providing the same reliable hold anymore.

So I’d have to buy another pen. Last month I went to the store to buy another pen for like the 3rd time this year and was looking at all the lash stuff. I saw this Duo glue. It was in a totally different component then what had been available years ago when I started this journey.

The component was plastic and had a screw on lid with a spatula arm. The consistency of the glue inside was much thinner and gel like compared to what I’d tried in the past. The box said quick dry, and I thought since the consistency seemed so light weight that could be possible.

So I bought the quick dry (blue) and the sensitive (green) just in case. Straight out the gate I was amazed. They were both so easy to use. The quick dry really did dry fast and didn’t cause any eye irritation at all! So much so that I use the quick dry more often then the sensitive cause I’m that confident that it wont irritate my eyes.

I’ve definitely found my match when it comes to lash adhesive. I’m never trying anything else, this is the one for me.

I’ve used Duo glue for years, but usually the black adhesive that comes in the pink label. It was only recently that I decided to try the green labeled one, this one, because of the brush applicator and stellar reviews I have heard from friends.

Upon the first few times of using this glue with 25mm KISS lashes everything was fine, lashes stuck perfectly, and stayed on for the entirety of my bartending shift (I really thought I had found the perfect adhesive).

Fast forward to maybe my 4th or 5th time using the glue, after I take my lashes off and wash my makeup off I can immediately feel my eyes watering and itching, and when I wake up in the morning boom, my eyelids have swollen up and are so irritated.

I can’t imagine it’s anything but the adhesive. I’ve used the same brand and style of lashes multiple times previously, as well as the same makeup remover, and brands of makeup. I don’t know if it’s because I have sensitive eyes or if I’m allergic to one of the ingredients, or all of the above, but I’m laying here eyelids all swollen, kind of miserable typing this review.

Try it if you will! A bunch of my girlfriends have never had a problem with this glue, but just be cautious and prepared!.

I haven’t tried that many lash glues but I love this one so much that I don’t feel the need to try anything else. One review said both sides open when you’re using it; if you hold on to the middle, you can easily open one side without leaking.

Other reviews said the glue is hard to remove; I agree with this but I discovered micellar water can take it off. I usually use a separate eye makeup remover, so I start with micellar water and hold the cotton pads on my eyes for a bit before wiping, then I go in with a cleansing balm to remove the rest of my makeup.

If there’s anything left over, then I’ll use more micellar water on a Q-tip around my lash line. It sounds tedious but doesn’t actually take that long. And all of this is worth it in my opinion because this stuff keeps your lashes on all day.

It’s worked on amusement park days where I rode rollercoasters or on 15-hour days of commuting+work. I like that you don’t have to fan the lashes around and wait for it to get tacky; I just put them on my eyes right after applying glue and then wiggle them around to get them in the right position before it dries.

And I love having both options because you can use the clear side with natural makeup looks and black with eyeliner looks!.

I bought this since there was nothing by Kiss available. I was told it would be exactly the same, but clearly that was not the case. I am still picking glue off my eyelashes and lash line, it took me an HOUR to get the eyeslashes on, and even then they were uneven.

The glue dried too quickly, becoming super tacky and when trying to apply lashes, it made it hard to align it properly, causing my lid to get caked with adhesive. I tried rubbing it off/peeling it off, which caused it to clump on my lid and I had to remove all my makeup from my eye to redo it.

After a 2nd attempt, my bottom corner lashes got glue in them and they started sticking to the top ones. After the final attempt and some moderate success, I felt like I couldn’t keep my eyes closed or they would get glued shut, that’s how sticky my eyelash line felt.

As I said, I still have the adhesive on my eyelashes and I used up half of the clear side of glue. I don’t even want to touch the other side knowing that the clear glue worked like that.

The ease of application with the brush applicator is great but let’s be real. we need an adhesive that’s going to keep your lashes on until you are done with them. I have found that the slightest warmth to the air, moisture in your eye or oil on your lid will break the security on this adhesive.

Even on days where the weather and my eyes are well behaved, this will start to bring me discomfort (and I wear really light and thin lashes). The corners or ends will start to lift and it’ll start to poke and itch.

Also, the consistency of the adhesive begins to change into this slippery, goopey feel that makes it pretty difficult to deal with when you’re trying to clean off your lash for the next use. I’ve used other duos before but this one is just not the same.

I’m not sure why the formula seems so different.

I am not a novice to strip lashes, and I’ve used the duo dark adhesive for years without issue. Although this glue felt lighter on my lids, I absolutely HATED the aftermath it left on my lids after I removed the lashes.

It doesn’t peel off nicely like the Duo adhesive, it sticks in little gummy pieces that require you to scrub and pinch and obliterate your lids into sensitive flaps of skin to remove everything cleanly.

Not only that, it stays gummy on the lids for a long time. It doesn’t necessarily move or lift if you time things right and get the right amount of glue, but it stays kind of wet and sticky, even after a long time has passed.

Not a fan. I have no idea why others rave about this. I’ll be switching back to Duo pronto.

I have used the black HOL eyelash adhesive for years and absolutely love it. I decided to try the clear one this time, hoping to achieve a more natural eye makeup look. Unfortunately, something about this formula just doesn’t keep my lashes on like the black one.

My lashes were completely off at the inner corners less than an hour after application, before even leaving my house. After a touch up, they were still coming off at the end of the evening only 3 hours later.

I’m disappointed and honestly wish I could just return this for a refund. I guess it’ll only be the black one for me!.

I couldn’t get my lashes done during the pandemic so started using strip lashes again. I hadn’t used strip lashes since 2005 so I was worried I’d look a mess since I wasn’t used to it anymore. I didn’t look forward to the lifting at the inner corner or having to carry glue around just in case.

BUT I didn’t want to be without eyelashes sooo yeah. I was working 12 hour shifts on a hospital unit that mostly had critically ill COVID patients. So that meant I was wearing my “COVID gear” consisting of N95 mask, ski goggles, face shield, isolation gown, gloves and disposable booties for sometimes as long as 45 minutes at a time, 10 minute break to breathe, then back in a patients room again.

Yes I was hot and sweaty underneath all that. but my lashes?? Perfection. Even after 12 hours of that my lashes never budged. Easy to use. 5/5.
