I was looking for a glue for leather to repair my beloved leather wallet. It tore at the seam where my ID and most used cards reside and I didn’t like the split at all. I went to Walmart and looked in the craft/sewing section and almost missed this gem.

It was with the jewelry making stuff and I read the package and it said it can be used for leather. I was skeptical cause I always need glues for unusual stuff and most of the time they don’t work. I tried Liquid Stitch for this repair before and it failed though it worked for a few months.

But liquid stitch takes 24 hours to cure! This stuff was literally INSTANT! I put some on the seam and pressed it together and BAM! it was stuck together again! In fact it was such a good adhesive it glued the corner of my driver license into the wallet! It took me 10 minutes of struggling to finally get my ID out of the wallet.

I had left the cards in the area so the gap of the seam would be just right and not too hard to pull the stuff out. It definitely works! Even after all that desperate tugging on my ID I thought for sure the bond would break on the seam but it held intact.

I’m glad I found this stuff. I’d definitely wear gloves though when working with this glue, it’s one of those that you can literally glue your fingers together and rip skin off. I didn’t do this but I got a tiny bit on my finger and realized I was lucky I didn’t press two fingers together.

All in all this stuff is AWESOME.

the bonding of this glue is good but it does make a little mess. it gets all over the out side of the opening of the tube. then its on your fingers. it dont wash off you got to wear it off. but it does do good on the binding and drying fast.

i am buying it again.

This jewelry glue is very easy to use. Adheres to your jewelry piece you are trying to fix. The amount of glue you use is easily controlled and it dries very quickly. I would purchase it again.

I use this glue for all if my DIY blinging projects. This glue adheres to plastic, wood, glass and even fabric. I embellish phone cases, mirrors and even shoes and this works amazingly! I typically is this smaller tube for more detailed projects.

Definitely recommend this brand.

Since I “discovered” it several years ago, E6000 is my favorite adhesive! It permanently bonds nearly any surface — wood, ceramic, fabric, glass, the list goes on. More than merely waterproof, it can be used on outdoor projects (flexible enough to withstand freeze/thaw cycles), on clothing (turn items inside out and wash on gentle cycle, and the sequins will stay put), even on dishes.

I’ve tried superglue on broken mug handles, and they come right apart again in the dishwasher. By contrast, I used E6000 to repair a favorite pasta bowl that cracked right down the middle into two pieces, and two years and many dishwasher cycles later it’s doing just fine.

For the most part, once it’s used to bond two things together, they are together for good. However, you *may* be able to cut or twist apart glass or ceramic pieces joined with E6000(you have to work at it).

Also, when you’re using it on a slick surface such as glass, you can clean up seams by rubbing with a paper towel (or with your finger) once the adhesive is “dry” but before it’s fully cured.

Good price good product. The best part of this adhesive are the included tips. Once product is used, the tips can be discarded and replaced, or run a small drill bit through the channel to clear it out.

This way the tube can be used until it is empty and not dried up prematurely.

This adheres very well and dries fast. For small pieces that you might handle as you apply, these qualities can be problematic. Your fingers will stick together and stick to your project unless you separate them very quickly.

And when applying items to surfaces, place it once or you’ll have a white smear on the surface where you first placed things. But it is useful to have the applicator tip for small items and if you don’t handle what you’re sticking down, you’ll be fine.

I used this product to glue gems to the front of a compact (mirror). It worked really well to adhere the gems to the mirror but unfortunately, it dried cloudy. It totally negated the shininess of the gems.

This would work if it’s unlikely that you’d see the glue when using it, but if using it to glue something clear (gems) to something metal, you’ll be able to see the glue when it dries.

This glue works well for what I needed. It is a little thicker in consistency than than what I expected. It comes out easily and did not clog at the opening when I used it the following day. It creates a good bond.

I backed into my granddaughters car and knocked her side mirror off. It cracked the plastic mount and mirror was hanging. We applied the Superweld professional strength and held it for one minute. That was 2 weeks ago and she has been up and down the highway daily and it is still holding.

I am a big fan of Jb weld products. I’ve referred to myself as master of jb weld several times. But this was my first time using this particular product. It held a rat trap together that was falling apart.

It dries fast. The rat is dead. The rat would be alive if not for this product. This product allowed the trap to snap the rats neck and cause instant death. I took no pictures.

I love to use Krazy Glue for all of my quick fixes. I’ve used it to fix my broken makeup brushes, glue the soles back onto my shoes and other fixes around the house. This glue works so well, is super strong and dries quickly.

Highly recommend, but just remember, a little goes a long way!.

I always us crazy for everything. In a store it is expensive for just one. So when I saw it listed on Ebay at such a low price, I buy the package of five right away. It works very quickly and sticks on wood, plastic and most of everything else.

I don’t have such luck with other glues. I recommend this glue to everyone, especially at this price! BES.

If I could give this product less stars for the review, I would. The initial squirt came out as gel, but the next few squirts were liquid. It DID NOT WORK in gluing plastic to plastic (solid plastic perfume lid had a crack).

Yes, I made sure the lid was clean and dry before attempting to repair.

This is my favorite brand of super glue. It connects generally everything together and it’s not very messy. It comes out clear. Great for both indoor outdoor projects. I use it a lot of general crafting.

When regular glue won’t cut it during crafting gorilla glue will save the day!!.

I don’t know why, but I love most anything that comes in small compact packaging and that is also easy to carry around. I had a huge issue with the rearview mirror in my car falling off (It’s a long story.

). I tried Epoxy glue, but let’s be honest, who has the patience and the time to hold up the mirror until the glue fully dries? I sure didn’t. This Gorilla Super Glue made it so easy, and the glue dried up in a matter of seconds.

It fixed my rearview mirror problem, for now at least. Thank goodness for super glue! I highly recommend this product for any quick fixes, but buyer beware. This stuff really sticks and dries up super fast! :).

Mysteriously, this product completely ruined four of my paintings and my dining room table. I had painted glass from an 8×10 frame and needed to glue the glass into the frame. For every one (I did 4) the glass fogged up all around where it had been glued.

It looks like cloudy water or soap build up. This same “build up” somehow eeked onto my dining room table (there was definitely no dripping of glue – I had done the gluing on a mat then moved the project to the table to set completely).

So it was like the fumes from the glue ruined the table? Same thing happened to one of the picture frames as well. When I try wiping it off, it disappears then reappears just as bad a few minutes later.

I’ve used gorilla products before and have been happy, so I’m completely shocked and baffled by this. And extremely sad as it totally ruined four paintings I was planning to sell.

In my time, I’ve tried a lot of different super glue brands, from Loctite, to Tamiya, to the small toothpaste-looking tubes. Now, I’ve found my favorite. The Gorilla glue is slow to dispense from the bottle, which means I have better control over how much glue I’m using.

It also takes less time to set and bond, which is nice. So far as I can tell, when two glued pieces do break apart, there’s no residue like what Loctite leaves. I’m incredibly happy with the product.

It seems as if I have the hardest time getting the product to come out of the tube, and then once I do it ends up getting all over my hands and coating them with dried guck. It’s a bit hard to get enough product onto the thing I’m trying to fix, and even when I tried the brush version it ended up drying out very soon after I opened the package.

I keep buying it hoping that my experiences will eventually change, but isn’t that the definition of insanity? I must admit that if I am able to apply it to something, the product does work. It’s just hard getting to that point, if I do at all.

I have fairy figurines from my childhood, and unfortunately some of their wings were broken during a move. I wasn’t sure if there would be a glue that would work for the material they’re made of (since I’m not quire sure but think it may be some type of resin), and if it did I was worried about the glue expanding and it being very obvious that they’ve been repaired.

This glue was perfect for the job at hand, it doesn’t expand while drying and doesn’t dry to a hazy color so it’s obvious if you get a little dollop somewhere else, plus a very little goes a long way! Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of the glue and how easy it is to use.

I always keep two tubes of E6000 in my home. One being ‘High Viscosity’ for more heavy duty projects, and the ‘Permanent Craft’ for more smaller scale crafts. Both share industrial grade strength, durability, flexibility, water-proofing and can be applied on a lot of surfaces other glues just can’t hold.

The ‘Permanent Craft’ has the added benefits of a narrow opening for more precision when applying and the glue not as thick as the ‘High Viscosity’ version allowing the glue to run more easily out of the tube and easier to spread on the desired surface.

I’ve used it on cloth, pleather, wood, metals, stone, glass, and cardboard easily. It dries moderately so there is time to adjust before it permanent sticks. Which I love since I make a lot of mistakes and adjustments.

In less then hour or so it’s pretty stuck in place, and when fully cured is holds fast. I usually have to to use a combination paint scraper, alcohol, acetone, and/or mineral spirits to weaken the bond or clean up so be careful about mistakes or messes.

Downsides are not ALL surfaces are safe for this glue. Some plastics and styrofoam have melted when applied. Not all but some. When in doubt, I do a test first before applying to my project. Also the fumes.

use in a well ventilated area. Avoid getting on the skin since I noticed some mild irritation, but easy to wash with soap and water. I feel it’s pretty safe, it is industrial grade glue so read the instructions carefully.

Overall I highly recommend this. Whenever I am in doubt if normal glue will hold, I always turn to E6000. For precision and easy application I use E6000 Permanent Craft Adhesive.

6000 glue is the best glue around and I say this in all honesty. I’ve been using 6000 glue for 22 years. I first started using it when my daughter started dancing. It’s great for glueing rhinestones on costumes and shoes.

They stay on forever. I than started to use it for almost everything that required glue. 6000 glue will always be my go to glue. I love it and I stand by it 100%!!! Therefore if you ever need glue for crafts or for any other need 6000 glue is definitely the glue for you! Sincerely, D.

What a nice refresh on super glue! I tend to buy single use glues as the tip regularly gets clogged on larger size tubes and I lose the remaining contents. This was not the case with Gorilla’s Super Glue Ultra Control Gel.

I have now used it multiple times on various surfaces e. g. wood, ceramic, plastic and have not had an issue with blockages. Apart from its versatility, it is easy to apply, bonds instantly and it is strong enough to maintain that bond days later.

Notably, I glued a strip of wood under my stove that my toddler is constantly pulling off, he has since tried to remove it to no avail. This is now my go to for all future super glue projects.

First off, it oozes out of the tube every time you open it and drips, so you need to have something under it, and use it quickly, then wipe the tip so the lid doesn’t glue to it. 2nd, it does NOT set in 10 seconds and it’s no good for verticle surfaces unless you plan to sit there and hold it for several minutes.

Definitely not what I was looking for.

Strong, easy to apply and sensible packaging make this the best super glue. Don’t waste you time with cheap tubes with lids that never unscrew and tubes that break and go hard. This is very simple, easy to apply and when you need it you won’t have to mess about getting the cap off or finding it’s dried out like the traditional poor package stuff is.

The gel helps a lot with intricate jobs but depending what you intend to do you may also want to get the thinner traditional stuff with the brush application instead. Most jobs need precision and this gel is perfect.

I’m still surprised I didn’t need to wash my hands after using super glue!.

Ive been using this glue ever since I got into miniature DIY house making. One bottle lasts a long time and I used it to make an entire dollhouse with some more remaining. As its a superglue, it dries really quickly and you dont need to apply a lot.

I use it for almost everything but have a little more difficulty with sticking fabric together and sticking it plastic to plastic needs more external help and longer time for drying. Over all its a lovely all around glue to have and is a staple to my miniature creations.

Im more than sure there are many more superglue brands out there and must be something better, but you dont fix whats not broken. Been using it for couple years and it never let me down, been glueing everything starting from gloves to cover up the hole in them down to headphone stand so it doesnt fall when I rest my headphones,Yes, there are few things that it doesnt want to gluelike glass smooth to smooth and smooth plastic but i guess if you stand the part you going to glue it will work just fine.

Once the bottle been open it will last 1218 months only as after that period it wont come out without force, but still glues everything. Would i buy it again Its already in cart.

The glue I bought would not squeeze out of the applicator and when opening the container I found it to be a solid jelly inside. I was very disappointed with the product and would have returned it to the depot if I could have.

I use this glue for making jewelry. I use a mix of vintage materials from rhinestone chain to poker chips. This glue dries clear and forms an incredibly strong bond. The price point is great for how the quantity and how well it works.

My biggest suggestion is to thoroughly clean the tip after using it- I’ve had days where I’ve been a little lazy or forgotten. After a few days of not cleaning the tip, the tube split when I squeezed it- oops! Overall, many of my designs would not be possible without this.

If you need to glue things together this is the glue you want!.

When I bought this, it was recommended because I wanted the best products money could buy to take care of several different wood products at home that had broken on dresser, a piece to weed eater that had broken when cutting grass, and fix a to go dinner zip up notebook.

I was glad when using this industrial strength glue that it worked on all of my products and the first time using it was 2. 35 years ago. To this day, everything still has stayed glued together and so I also used it on a portion of my interior of car.

I have seen this work when trying other stuff of lesser or greater cost wasn’t as durable. Will be using whenever needing a trusted product.

Doesn’t stick to all surfaces. I have a mini led puck light that I wanted to glue onto my car’s front passenger seat to shine down where you place your feet. It’s vinyl material. This glue just doesn’t stick to it, even if I let it tack up before attaching it.

I bet Goop adhesive would. Goop is sticky right out of the tube. This stuff is runny and has no sticking power to car upholstery vinyl.

Never been a fan of Superglue as it rarely lives up to the expectation. Needed this to repair a beloved pair of trainers i was not ready to part with. Whole trainer was in perfect condition but the sole had split around the sealing edge resulting in the front of the sole flapping under my foot whenever i lifted it and letting water in.

Seeing as the sole itself was still fully intact, it had just come unstuck along the original join, i gathered it should be repairable if i could purchase the right adhesive. Saw this, was impressed by the reviews and thought id try it.

The bottle is easy to use, nice simple lid that seals appropriately to stop the glue drying out and allows a nice fine application with the thin nozzle. I was generous with my application as i did not want to have to repeat, a nice layer of glue applied along the edge i needed sealing before setting into a vice to hold the seal in place while it dried.

Left it over night and the following day checked it out. Perfect seal all the way round and now firmly held in place. There was a little residue after drying, it is a clear gel to start and dries a frostycloudy white colour.

Being on the sole of the trainer i was not bothered by this but you may need to be more careful if wanting a perfect finish for your task. Several months on, i have worn the trainers quite a few times since and still holding strong.

Very impressed by this as i did not expect the hold to last if im honest. My only criticism is that the bottle does not come full, I had enough glue to do what i needed, but why waste the plastic manufacturing a bottle larger than is required Lots of companies need to consider this at present.

Nonetheless, good product, would recommend.

I liked that this was more of a gel then liquid form of glue. You do need to shake it quite a bit before opening it up to use it. Otherwise you will think its not coming out or defective, but you just need to closely follow directions on the bottle and it will flow out great.

Bonding time is fairly quick, and if you allow product to fully dry, whatever you bonded together will stay bonded together. Used this to repair a broken hook on a decorative key ring holder.

First, some reviewers have pointed out that the bottle is larger than is actually needed to hold the volume of glue supplied. Rather than being an attempt to mislead, the reason for the large bottle seems to be to allow easy shaking of the contents and thus avoid the experience of a small bottles contents going solid.

As for the glue itself, it seems fine. More of a liquid than I was expecting, it nevertheless stuck part of a broken frying pan handle back in place quickly and effectively. And you dont need much the instructions advise against more than a drop per square inch.

Gorilla Glue is one of the most effective products I have ever used. It does what it is supposed to, and well. Howsoever, like all glues, if you leave it sitting around too long, it dries up and goes bad.

SO! Mini’s should help immensely with that problem. I haven’t used one yet, but, I’m sure I will soon, and if the little tube has enough glue for one or two fixes, that’s great, because it does its job, and then you toss away the remnants without regret, and when the next need for gluing pops up you open a fresh tube!.

Even though this glue is not instant it is worth the wait to see how strong this glue can be. I was skeptical because of the process. But after following directions the bond was remarkable. Let me tell you how, first you clean the area, spray a little water on the area, then clamp and leave it for a couple of hours.

Totally worth the wait! Again, if you still want an instant glue Gorilla Glue might not be for you.

I really like Gorilla Glue but bottles tend to solidify on my shelf over time. This gives me a one use quantity while leaving the other tubes in unopened condition. If I have extra, who cares. I can just toss it which is better than throwing out a whole bottle that got hard.

In my many years as a classroom art teacher, I have learned to add Gorilla glue to my supply list. I teach pre-k to 8th grade, typically; with variations on grade level ranges. Why would an elementary art teacher need such a strong adhesive? I needed this because I teach children, and children drop, break, and simply play with things until they fall to pieces.

Despite my best efforts to teach children about the function and purpose of decorative arts, I have had a line up of 5 to 12-year-olds year round with art pieces that left my classroom carefully packaged in 1 piece; and returned sometime later in several pieces.

This glue has never been given to children, and I have made sure that all “doctoring” of art pieces happens after class. Gorilla glue bonds basically any surface to any surface, and this stuff was even more effective than the foamy yellow nonsense I used to use.

Clear grip will take the ceramic ear of your Second Grade child’s bunny mug and reattach to look like new. I have repaired clay pottery like a pro, with absolutely no training in this type of skill. The trick I made up is to add dabs of glue with a Q-tip to each side of the break, and then gently put the pieces together.

Next I use masking tape or painter’s tape to make sure the cracked area is firmly “clamped” in place. I hold the pieces sometimes for delicate breaks, and this glue sets quite quickly and almost effortlessly.

( The kids only used kid-safe mosaic glue for the actual art). We also used Gorilla glue to attach PVC pipe plastic tubes together to create some mighty fine and super lightweight flexible weaving looms.

Whether I drop someone’s coffee mug, or someone comes to me with a headless sculpture in need of “immediate surgery”, this glue is always in my “teacher only cabinet” for instant fixing.

Quite similar to an old favorite called “The Welder. ” It differs from “Goop” or “E6000” in that it flows much nicer than those and doesn’t “ball” up as much when spread out. This adhesive is perhaps best suited for patching rubber-type products (such as floor mats), especially when used with fiberglass backing cloth.

Just be sure to thoroughly scuff the surface you’re gluing beforehand. Gorilla claims this adhesive is UV resistant, but I highly doubt that and would coat any exposed areas. Gorila says the adhesive is waterproof, but it shouldn’t be used where there is constant immersion or in below the water line applications.

This product can be used to fill in smaller-sized gaps- which can especially helpful in areas where flexibily is important- but the product’s thinness means runs can be a problem when applying on vertical surfaces.

Larger gap filling should be done incrementally (as in, apply product, allow it to dry for a day or 2, then re-apply) rather than doing it in one big glob, as the product may never cure properly. This glue has a very long shelf life as long as you keep the cap on tight.

The tube I’m using is several years old now, yet but it still works fine.

So I bought this glue for a craft project because the E5000 smells so bad/strong and it really gets to you after awhile. However the gorilla glue is basically the exact same glue and it also smells. I would buy which ever one has the best price.

It worked well for my projects. It’s messy as it’s in a tube and continues to ooze out. Also the metal tubes get holes in them as you roll them up. If you’ve never used it before it is essentially a strong rubber glue.

I was gluing glass with it and it holds strong, but even after it dried for a few days I could pull it apart if I didn’t like what I did and rub the glue off to start over. Thats a plus for me because I change my mind a lot.
