20 Best Glue For Diamond Painting (2023 Updated)

This worked great for larger project areas. I wanted it to re-adhere a corner I accidentally pulled up of the marked material. It stuck the material back to the board very well. It’s easy to use and squirts out slowly.

I got this to fix the adhesive on my diamond painting and it worked great! Now I have it for any time I need to make parts sticky again. I even got some on the tops of some of the diamonds around the area and it didn’t affect their shine at all.

Great for adding more drills to my diamond paintings!! You have to wait a bit for the stuff to get sticky and then it works perfectly

I have found that this Stickles provides the best coverage, is vibrant and long lasting. It has been my go to when adding glitter for any occasion. It’s permanent. When I first bought this many years ago, I needed glitter that wouldn’t fly all over the place.

I tried Distress Glitter but it wasn’t dense enough for me and had that runny look. But when I tried this one, I kissed the bottle. It has lasted for years, time for another one.

I love these glitter glues. Use them all the time on cards and art/junk journals. A tip for storing them. when they are 1/3 dow in volume, flip them tip side down, it’s easier to use them because sometimes when they are halfway gone its hard to squeeze the glitter out.

ive only used it a few times since getting it. With that in mind here is my review. With NO shaking of the product ive found it seems to have a lot of air bubbles when it comes out. You youve gotta be mindful of that and have something ready to get them out with.

When applying it to use as a bevel type top, i found when tried it had a con-caved area in the middle which lled me to have to try applying more in the little crater to try and get the beveled look i was looking for initially.

This product dries hard. There is no flexibility. Which is great if you are needing a nice solid protective coating that you wont easily get marks in. Would i buy this again? Yes, despite all the issues i would.

Yes I would recommend Judykins Diamond Glaze glue. It dries ultra clear and is great to adhere coloured paper to tiles. I would prefer it to be available in larger size bottles. though if posiible.

It gives you a fabulous finish if you want an alternative to resin. Love it and it is easy to layer. Excellent to glue vellum as that was my main reason to purchase, everything is a plus!

This is by far in my opinion, the best high gloss dimensional crafting glue I have found. It is clear, fast drying, does not crack, non toxic, tiny smell, really hardly any smell. No bubbles. In time it does yellow, but I find most do.

I use it so much I got this large bottle a great buy. It went over Pebeo paint which is an enamel paint. It did not stick to a metal piece I used it on, but it made a perfect mold of it. 🙂 I will try again, weather usually does not seem to effect the drying process.

However I have not used it in severe weather conditions. A note* I have not used this yet to cover a large surface area, not more than 4×6. I do not see why it wouldn’t work though.

I got this on eBay for about $15 and wanted to use it to give a smooth “bubble-like” finish to a small piece of finished wood. I’ve never used a product like this before but I must say that the result was pretty unimpressive.

I squirted the glaze onto a painted 1×1 inch wood circle and let it dry. I don’t know If I did anything wrong , but while the finish felt smooth it looked very unprofessional. There were little bubbles and dimples on the finished product.

I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

I use this on most of my card projects, it is great to add a bit of definition and dimension to a finished project. I have even used it to add a rain drop effect to a card front. It dries quite quickly, but still not super fast.

I have never found an equivalent that is any better. And feel confident using it as a glue too. Although it is an expensive option for glue.

This is the most amazing glue I have ever used. It dries clear. It has a very fine tip which works so well for small details. I have lots of glue but this is my new favorite

This glue goes on smoothly and holds very well. I do wish that the fine tips had a way to stay on the bottle and have a cap so I didn’t have to remove the tip and put the regular cap back on.

My go to glue for many projects. It creates a fairly strong bond and dries quickly with no fumes. Dries faster than other pv glues. However it still gives time for readjustments.

This review does not reflect on the vendor. I bought it because the reviews on another site, said it was the best. I’m not using this glue on Big projects. The product was floating around YouTube for certain applications, instead of hot glue.

I went back to my hot glue for my Christmas ornament projects.

I use Aileen’s tacky glue when teaching students of all ages and abilities. One of its properties is that it is thick and slow flowing. I make sure to explain this to the students and tell them not to get frustrated because it’s just a better glue than school glue.

Lay the bottle on its side between uses, so it doesn’t take as long to flow to the tip next time. It’s harder for the students to squeeze too much out, which is great! Also, I purchase the mini bottles for ease of handling and refill from the large bottle.

I use this to make tiny strips of paper stand on their edge to outline my Quilled Art Pieces. Most glues you have to wait for them to become Tacky(sticky) but not Aleene’s! It comes out ready to go and it dries clear as crystal.

No one ever knows it’t the secret behind your work! It comes in several size bottles which us a must for Quilling because you made need a large area filled or a tiny corner, not to worry they have one for every need.

The thing that is not so great is. NOTHING! Cleans up with water and never turns yellow.

I was kinda worried about this product but it proved me wrong. I love it.

Did not get the correct glue. Can’t figure out how to contact the seller. He is a seller that sells through Walmart. I needed the permanent waterproof glue.

This stuff works great on craft objects that are heavy, oddly shaped, or don’t fit together well. We apply it with wooden craft or popsicle stick (not included), and it allows the kids to stick things together without having to hold them in place too long (you know children’s attention spans.

) I can’t speak to permanent adherence, but I can’t think of a time when any child’s project came apart before leaving the library when using this product. I would recommend it to anyone crafting with kids, or who does collage or three-dimensional craft projects.

I use glitter glue to decorate scrapbook pages and cards. I recommend this product if you are looking to decorate with glitter. It will shine like glitter but the glitter will not fall off.

I had a dozen or more Stickles and gave them away, except yellow. Some people can make them look good, but not me. My projects always looked like a kindergartner plopped down pile of glitter and covered it with a glob of glue.

What I really hate about Stickles is the super slow dry time, I mean hours (or better yet, overnight) drying time. I kept the yellow because the glittery blobs do make for good flower centers–as long as I don’t touch it an hour later to see if it’s dry.

I love these little bottles of glitter/metallic glues! the small nozzle allows you to use a small amount to add a bit of pizzazz to cards or other projects. I was buying them for $2+ at a local scrapbooking store that is no longer open but now i find them on amazon or at Hobby Lobby or Michaels in packs, in a wide variety of colors.

This is the best glue around for cardmaking. It comes with a few sizes of nozzle for fine and very fine glue lines. Its the best I have found in my 8 years of cardmaking!

This is excellent glue and I am glad I found it. I use this glue for building miniature intricate structures (buildings, bridges, etc. ) on a very small scale (1:200). It dries clear. I like it because it is tacky quickly allowing fast adhesion of tiny pieces of wood.

It does not dry quickly like a “super glue”, but one big advantage is there are no fumes to deal with, or not being able to clean it off your skin. It is labeled “non-toxic”. You can also reposition your glued pieces if necessary, unlike a “super glue”.

It dries fairly solid within 5 to 10 minutes, depending upon how thickly it has been applied. With acrylic paint, you can paint the glue without it being visible as well. If it dries on your skin, it simply peels off.

Easy water clean up if spilled as long as it is done before it starts to dry. The bond is so strong, I have attempted to separate glued pieces of wood. The wood broke, not at the glued joint! It might require a little more time and patience than using a “super glue”, but I find the advantages are worth every extra minute that I may have spent.

I created a card stock ornament as one of three Christmas projects for my two grand dudes classes. The embellishments to be glued on the ornaments are tiny pom poms, gem stones, tiny stars, buttons and confetti stars.

I first tested a few different brands of glue all thicker and thought the embellishments shouldn’t have a problem staying on. After the embellishments were dried I rubbed and wiggles the embellishments and unfortunately the glues did not work at all.

I can’t have the ornaments falling apart that wouldn’t be very nice. I did a search on Michael’s. com to see if I could find a heavy duty glue. I read the discription on the Elmer’s tacky glue and it looked like this glue should work better.

The price was less then the other leading brands too. I bought 5 bottles went home and did a test and to my surprise the pom poms and gem stones stayed glued. No more other brand tacky glues, I’m sticking to Elmer’s tacky glue.

I never knew Elmer had a tacky glue. Less expensive and with a couple even better!.

I needed fabric glue for some outdoor curtains and this was GREAT! I am not an arts & crafts person, so I bought several kinds of glue. This one is by far the best! I came out white like normal Elmer’s glue, but when it dried – wow! It was so clear; you would not know it was glued unless you were there when I did it.

The Stickles glitter glue is the best you can buy for your card making. It dries to give you a great shiny glitter finish to your projects.

I love this product, exactly the right size

If you need a paste that dries slowly it may suit your purpose. It took almost 12 hours to dry for me and was hard to spread evenly using a squeegee or any other method on a big project. I could have just used mod-podge liquid and worked a lot faster (and cheaper).

The installation was temporary outside and the product eventually colored white from the moisture in the air. I was using flower petals and they would not stick. It is probably perfect for some other environment and materials but it is not versatile.

I love multi-media projects and using beautiful papers. I don’t want glue that shows. I want a non-acidic glue that will be archival. I also teach art and using glue with children is SO frustrating for me and for them, when the glue bottle gets stopped up over and over again.

That does not happen with YES paste for paper projects. There is no pouring out too much glue, so it is actually economical- less waste and less mess. (Below is a photo of my most recent paper project, using YES paste.

I glue the painted thin, crinkled Masa paper to watercolor paper. ).

I do mixed media and had read that this is a great product for collage. Everyone has their own preferences. While it did allow my items to lay flat, I prefer just using acrylic gel medium, since it has multiple uses and works extremely well as a collage adhesive.

Stikflat would be appropriate for “craft” type collages or other gluing projects.
