This stool is the perfect height for me to be able to get into my bed. My tempurpedic mattress is too high for me to get into bed and it doesn’t even have a box spring so you can only imagine how high it is.

But this stool is ideal and it has a rubber top so you can’t slip on it. Great addition to my bedroom.

The one step plastic step stool . It’s perfect for my 87-year-old mother. It gives her that little extra boost to get in her bed at night . I like that it has a non-skid top . Gives me peace of mind.

I bought this for my 89-year-old mother for large buttons and the four extra buttons at the top. The good: The screen is nice and clear with big fonts and the buttons are a good size. The user interface is much better thought out than the Panasonic I sent back.

The volume rocker is useful but. (see below) The top four buttons are the reason I bought it and they great. You can use them as normal speed-dial or as emergency calls to four people where the press A and then calls all people on A, B, C, D until one of them answers.

Very long standby about 8 or 9 days The base is excellent as you can make calls to the four people on A B C D buttons and receive calls from anyone. If you can’t find your ringing phone just go to the base.

If you can’t find that either then you’ve got problems beyond the scope of this review!! The Neutral: The voice quality is not great but my mother understands everything said. I don’t know if it is the phone’s speaker quality or my line.

The Bad: This phone is more for the elderly and one thing they need is volume. Like many have said, the max volume isn’t that high. The phone doesn’t have speed dials on the main keypad – the four, A B C D buttons are all you get.

This is a silly decision by Siemens considering it is meant to be a £100 phone. Also, the ABCD buttons are really meant for their automated emergency functionality so why not put normal speed dials on the main keypad.

Now if you want to call your daughter, son, or a close friend for a chit chat you have to go through the phonebook. A very stupid decision by siemens, practically every landline phone at that price has keypad speed dials.

This quad handset is a replacement for another Gigaset which I was struggling to use, as my hearing has deteriorated, and I was mainly using the old one on loudspeaker especially on a conference call, Although slightly put off by the size of the buttons, they are easy to see and use and it’s also easier to see the letters than on my old phone.

We had a bit of difficulty registering the handsets as they all needed doing on the base station. The next issue was with the answerphone. We have a 1571 voicemail system which supposedly takes 21 seconds to kick in and the answerphone was set to auto with a response time of 18 seconds.

On that setting 1571 answered first and it took a while working out the problem. Now we have set it to answer after 10 seconds, it works fine but it doesn’t leave very long to answer the phone, although once you’ve done that the recording does stop.

The button to increase volume during the call is very useful and the general sound quality is good. When I put my hearing aid onto loop though, I got a buzzing sound, which I don’t think should be there.

It would also be useful to have a louder volume for the ring and a better selection of melodies, as the majority aren’t suitable for people with hearing impairment. We’re using the 1970s ring which is fine.

Our old phone handsets told you which one you were using on the screen – this one doesn’t unless you make an internal call and it highlights which one you’re calling from. These are all minor issues but I’m surprised that in some respects our new phones are not as good as the old ones, despite being the same manufacturer.

We purchased this clock for a family member who has both macular degeneration & memory loss. When we first plugged the clock in, it had already set itself, nothing for us to do. Our family member was very pleased with how well she could view & read this clock.

This is a good product, but not without it’s problems In setting up. I find this hard to under stand with a product aimed at people with a dlsabilty like trying to understand the instruction that are printed so small that even with glasses on my brother who helps me get it going had great problems in reading them.

Which is shame because it is good product only spoilt by a silly thing. Would recommend it, I nearly put no but hearing how it works and sounds I changed my mind.

the basic phone is easy to use. The amplification boost needs to work even if there is a power cut and batteries might be low. As i am deaf I need more volume than is available on the phone at present I can only use it with an extra volume external booster, which is not really suitable.

Since I spent ages researching before I bought this chair, I’ll answer all of the questions I was asking. DELIVERY: arrived a day earlier than the first of the two dates indicated. Arrived safely-packaged in one box.

BOX: so large the delivery man had to squeee it through my standard-sized front gate and, as I had anticipated, it had to be left outside my front door. There is no way in which it could have been taken through a usual doorway.

Double French doors would be ok. UNPACKING MOVING: the box was very heavy, and had to be cut open to allow the contents into the house. Another person would have made the job much easier, but I’m used to working out how to do heavy jobs single-handed.

Careful cutting (box is sturdy and so watch your hands!), removal from the box of the relatively light backrest and then levering and sliding did the trick. I wouldn’t have been able to get the chair upstairs on my own.

SETTING UP: simple, obvious and took five minutes. COMFORT: the backrest is very soft and comfortable; the seat is not as soft as my other faux-leather chairs, but is not bad. I’m six feet three inches tall, and so expected the recliner extension to be far too short–they always are– and this, of course, is the case.

It ends behind my kneecaps in the usual way, but adding an additional footstool makes it comfortable. The angle of sitting when upright is a little steep for someone of my height, but you can push the backrest and so that it is fine.

SIZE AND RELIABILITY: I weigh ten and a half stone and so am not anticipating any problems with the chair’s strength; however, it does seem very robust. I am slim (waist 34 inches) and the seat is wide enough for someone a few inches larger, being about 44 centimetres between the middles of the arm-rests.

MASSAGE FUNCTION: I love it! Brilliant! Varied and responsive with many settings. Because I’m tall the ‘leg’ section massages my thigh area, of course. But that doesn’t matter. HEATER: works perfectly.

SWING: the chair swivels freely, as most do. Don’t look for it to be semi-fixed. SUMMARY: although its seat isn’t as soft as the softest ones I’ve known, I love this chair, and am hoping it will last well.

I am very pleased with this chair. It is comfortable except you cannot adjust the back separately. I found that to be a problem. I previously purchased a Lazy Boy recliner and within a month the mechanism broke down due to their using plastic gears.

I have had this chair for 5 months and it is working beautifully. I have a hip problem and there isn’t a chair that affords me the ability to sit straight and I lean to the right. This chair is far more comfortable than the Lazy Boy at a much higher cost.

The Recliner arrived earlier than the expected delivery date which was nice. It is comfortable and was rated from my research as being in the top 7 Recliners of this type. Powerlift. Nice & simple. I did not want all the bells and whistles of massage/heat.

My only desire would be a longer foot rest design. I’m 5’6 so for someone taller this foot rest might be disappointing. Overall nice chair & decent price.

This review is for the replacement chair. My original chair appeared to be dropped from a truck and was very loud on movement, leaving wood shavings and after 2 days completely stopped. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement chair!The chair is quiet, comfortable and runs smoothly is perfect for my needs.

The arms rest are quite low but a couple of pillows work wonderfully! I love this chair and look forward to buying other furniture from the company.

Any radio user or enthusiast will appreciate the years that have gone into weighting the dial as it rotates or the whole thing not falling off the shelf for a similar reason. If the tiny feet are slippery a whole world of sound may be lost.

And since the days of telling the time by the light and the connections between the seeds and the stars so many of us face dementia, and the losses of having a radio which cruelly separates its owner from the unrivalled riches therefrom.

I have many radios that appealed for some reason but which , unless you devote room for them, cannot be turned on or off in the dark even if the reason is they are on a shelf centimetres too high up.

So to buy the one button radio was an insider, knee jerk reaction to being made to grow old too early thanks to poor design.

Which this radio is not. I have an inverter in my beach hut so I am not limited to the radios I can drive at my “desk” there. I have severaal smaller, lighter radios and even DAB radios, and enjoy 70’s HiFi thanks to charity shops and car boot sales never mind more serious money in all the usual places.

I have started to buy for my old age. watches with a day date, clocks with radio control and once set up tell you everything and as many ideas as I can entertain. OK this clock does not have it all, but were you to think as a doctor might, it is all about evolving and suffering not the random events which actually are determined by our surroundings for better or worse and we do not know it.

Until something better comes along, buy this radio. It may seem like less choice but for my dad with dementia this is as good as it gets. I think.

I bought this radio for my mum. I’ve not yet heard how she’s finding it, but I can comment on the product as seen and how easy it was to set up. The design is very retro – I remember such radios from my childhood and it should help mum recognise what it is.

I’m hoping that as she gets used to it we can take the front cover off so she can view the tuning screen (without the dials, so she can’t get “lost”) and we can give her a usb stick of her favourite songs.

I found it very easy indeed to set up. The instructions are extremely clear (I wish other manufacturers would provide such support) and I managed to remove the front screen without difficulty. I particularly liked the thoughtful storage spaces for the plug and dials.

This walker is easy to use and fold up. The carrying bag that attaches to the front is very convenient. Comes with extra legs making it very versatile. You will need to order tennis balls separately if needed.

Light weight but sturdy.

It is smaller than, let’s say, a Ludden, but it fits the average person perfectly. Be careful if you have children that like to jump on furniture, as it does tip if you put too much force on the back and none on the seat; that is to be expected, though, so it’s not a complaint.

I have no gripes with it, it took me and my grandmother 15 minutes to put together. The assembly is so easy that I would give it 5 stars for that alone. It’s not firm when you sit on it. The back is so soft and marshmallowy, you melt right into it.

The footrest is covered from top to bottom so it makes good use if you want to set a laptop on it, or anything else. It was an overall good purchase for a good price. Would recommend this to others.

I bought this watch a year ago on Amazon, instantly loved the size the look the bracelet, everything about it. The one negative is the missing lume for nighttime and low light scenarios but i knew that before buying it so i was not surprised by it.

Unfortunately my example arrived with a brush bristle laying on the dial beneath the crystal, which was super annoying. I was going to return it but after contacting the Amazon seller i felt it would be sufficient to send to citizen for a warranty service which had some hiccups but I’m still enjoying this watch too this day 2 years later despite the minor annoyance.

Great watch beautiful looks eco drive is great i have 2 of them and one is still functional after 20 years which is most impressive.

Was gifted this watch over 2 years ago now and have worn it on 6 or 7 occasions over that period. Have kept it in a safe, secure position, open boxed on bedroom dresser. Agree with another reviewer that the watch bands color fades off the side and in my case the dial as well.

The look of this watch went from sleek to cheap pretty fast and further dampens my consumer enthusiasm over yet another product (not only this product or manufacturer) that sadly fails the test of ownership.

I was very happy about the watch until I realized it was scratched right above the where the 12 would be it is barely noticeable but now that I know it’s there it’s all I can see when I look at the time.

This item came very quickly the service was excellent. My reason for buying it was over the last 8 years I have been extremely ill, I was more or less housebound. So I bought this so I can now go to the supermarket with it & when my legs stop working I can sit down.

Its light enough to carry. Or you could put it at the side of the trolly. I hold the trolly while my husband pushes it. Then like I say once my legs dont work my husband unfolds it & I sit on it for a while,he goes off to get bits of shopping & comes back to me & by that time my legs are ok again so my husband folds the stool up & away we go again till my legs wont work again.

Yes it takes us longer to shop but it means I can get out of the house for a while. Nothing more to add. This item has given me a little bit of my life back. Oohhh I know its not ballroom dancing but it is just as good for me.

This is a good folding seat for temporary use. Not very sturdy or well constructed but for short term use it is ok. Price seems to be high for the cheap materials used for construction. Not sure how long it is going to last.

Essential item whilst recuperating from significant femur fracture. Item good price, very portable and sturdy but light weight too. Only issue was that one of rubber ends of the leg wore out very quickly but easily & cheaply replaced.

Need to follow instructions re seating position with handle in front otherwise tendency to topple over backwards if you use as usual type chair-you have been warned ! Recommended if you need a portable seat for any occasion.

We love this brand ,my wife has M. S and has needed the assistance that these products offer. The rollator is sturdy , and moves with ease around the house, and in public when out and about. It offers a seat to take a break or for waiting in lines or for the Dr.

It also has a nice convenient pouch under the seat which is great for holding everything she needs for a trip out. Her old one had a wore basket which could only hold certain item, with this one she keeps her phone and keys in there without worrying about them falling out.

We highly recommend getting one of these if you need any help. Also would recommend purchasing from Walmart as well, we had bought one off Amazon and it came with a messed up basket and without any bolts to hold the handles in place and make it functional.

Walmart had ours to us in a timely manner and without any used or missing items.

love most aspects of this walker, my only personal problem is the handles are too big for me with the brake bar sticking out sideways. as i said that is personal because i travel a lot and figured out how i can manage the walker with a suitcase on each side.

We borrowed this same model from our local nurses pantry, and my mom really liked it. I was happy when I found Walmart carried it. The first arrived in a bashed up, patched up box, with torn holes in it.

The walker had paint scuffed off of it down to the metal, that corresponded with the holes in the box. It was reordered, and the box arrived with two holes in the same spots, and abrasions on the walker in the same area as the first.

I had the third try sent to the store for pickup, with no ill effects! Phew! Very relieved, because my mom says this feels more substantial than walkers with the 6″ wheels. She could have gotten the 6″ type with her Medicare; however, she’d rather pay the money and have this one! All three did not come with the under seat vinyl pouch as described, they came with a metal basket that is to be used in the front of the walker.

My mom’s not loving that, but we are not going to try for a 4th to be ordered. I shouldn’t have to buy a separate under seat pouch on my own, but that is exactly what I will end up doing. I’ve dropped my review to 4 stars, simply because the pouch did not arrive as described in the listing.
