I got these Rock Rings for my boyfriend (and let’s be honest, so I could use them :P). We’ve had them for about 5 months so far and they’ve been great. My initial impression of them were, holy crap, they’re heavy! They’re a little over 2.

5 lbs each. They make your bag heavy but don’t take up very much space so they’re very portable. We live in an apartment so he put them on his door frame mounted pull-up bar and just wrapped the rope around a couple times to make them hang higher off the ground.

I’ve got tiny hands so the pockets are a bit deep for me to crimp, but I can use them as pretty much normal juggy closed hand holds. He has bigger hands but since the pockets are deep he has stated he uses them as jug holds as well.

I often use these for off-set pull-ups to increase my finger strength, I’ll hold on the very top which offers a jug hold with one hand and do 2 or 3 finger active hangs or pull ups with the other hand.

Overall these have been a great addition to our at home climb training.

I love these things! Newish to climbing and wanted to level up my training. These have made my training fun and adaptable, you can make any session as easy or as difficult as you like. The options are endless, plus you can take these anywhere really! You won’t regret getting a pair of these.

Helpful tip: grab yourself a couple small slings and some carbiners so that you hang these over beems, branches etc.

I’ve used it a lot but i don’t feel like its really worth getting. I’ve used it as a glorified pull-up bar. I recommend getting a portable hangboard instead. That being said if you have some extra cash to drop its fantastic for how realistically limited this tool is for climbing.

The climbing holds themselves are great. They look and feel like real rocks. However, they were missing the bolts to attach them. Instead, we received double the amount of T-nuts. After emailing the seller, he did send the bolts and we received them in just a few short days.

But they weren’t the correct size as stated in the description. They were about 3/8″ shorter than described and didn’t work for us, so we had to go buy a set of bolts anyway which cost us about $10. If I had known all of that would happen, I would’ve purchased the more expensive set from Amazon that had more holds.

The texture and look of these holds is fantastic! Looks incredibly real. We wanted a hold that blended in a little better as we will use them for a climbing wall in our daughters’ room. Customer service was very responsive and easy to work with when there was a small error in delivery.

The owner responded personally and fixed the problem immediately. Can’t wait to use these holds!.

I like them ALLOT!!! Its a very good deal! They were all different shape, i would say medium-small size, perfect for kids and even for adult. Out of 50 I broke 2-3 trying to scew them to the wall, but for the price and the fact that they are made from 70% recycled material, its ok.

I already order another 50. they look and feel like rock! overall for the price its good stock.

These classic rocks function like their anodized versions–literally the same. I like the clean, uncolored look of these rocks compared to the colored alternatives–really for no particular reason aside from aesthetics.

As for functionality, these are great starter nuts. Their profile is perfect for placement in varying crack/runnel sizes as their slight taper fits most spots. My only regret is not buying a second set! Compared to other brands, I think Wild Country Rocks definitely come out near the top!.

I’ve only used these once so far, but they place decently well, and the wide variety of sizes, as well as the quantity, I really surprising considering the low price. Definitely a nice, inexpensive option for a set of nuts.

Good standard rack nuts, nothing too special about them. My partner noted that they seemed easier to clean than the BD nuts and the DMM walnuts. Typical wild country quality. Pair with a set of DMM Offsets and you’re good to go for most climbing.

It is solid and smooth and comes in a cardboard push-up tube. I plan to reorder for family gifts. I ordered the lotion bar for an upcoming vacation to Belize, so I have only sampled that by rubbing some on my hands, but it is lovely! It will serve that purpose perfectly and reduce the liquids I carry in my purse.

The lotion creme scent is very floral to me, a light floral scent, and I am very particular to scents. I LOVE the feeling of this creme on my skin but have decided to give it to my sister, a nurse, who will love the scent and will benefit from the healing properties of the creme.

First the good bits: it’s warm (probably adds ~10°F to a sleeping system) and semi-breathable. It should be fairly drip resistant, but I wouldn’t trust it alone in a downpour. The floor seams are taped (and the floor feels quite durable; should prevent most punctures to a sleeping pad).

The dual-pull zipper for the hood is very nicely engineered. Now, the bad: if you’re taller than 5’8″, and plan to use this with a sleeping pad (e. g. as part of a quilt system), you’ll find it to be too small! For shorter people, a mummy sleeping pad that’s <2" thick is probably going to work.

As I’m 6′ tall, even with a thin klymit pad, I think it’s tight in the footbox; with a Big Agnes, it crushes my feet, and it’s impossible to side sleep. I plan to enlarge it by about 6″ in height; the side/top seams are done in such a way this should be an easy modification.

I am 64 and have dry skin; a result of aging/wayyyyy past menopause, when your hormones don’t work very well. The advice from ClimbOn is ‘a little goes a long way’ and this is true, but this is a good thing, when you have very dry skin.

I use it on my very dry legs, and it helps my hands as well. Ocassionally, after I’ve been hiking I like to use it as an emollient on my face. You can bet there’s some dry skin there, too. My itchy dry skin used to wake me up at night.

Since specifically using ClimbOn for my legs at night, I sleep through the night. I live in Maine; the winters make your skin extra dry. This has helped alot. Some think it is expensive; it lasts a while, and to me, it gives relief.

It’s worth it, plus you can get on the mailing list and get discounts sometimes.

I would love to have this mug. People (stereotypically) would say “OMG I love squirrels” because it has a squirrel but I literally love squirrels I have one in my yard that is friendly almost like a pet and sometimes other ones will be as friendly and I feed them and their like little yard pets so squirrels have become my favorite animal ever.

The designs are great – that’s why I return to S6 often. But, when you chose to use low quality shirts you lost me. The fabric is cheap and thin. Too bad.

Loved the variety of options for T-shirts! The Women’s Medium fit more like a Small on me. I would have gone for the Large for a more relaxed fit. Both Men and Women’s shrunk a little after washing but they still fit ok.

The quality of the t-shirt is the best part because they are so soft. The screen print quality is good too. I would definitely buy again but maybe sizing up one size, at least for the Women (I already sized up for the Men’s shirt).

The rocks look nice, but it smells like teeth being drilled in a bath of paint thinner! Ive put them in the garage in hopes that it soon dissipates. Im waiting for smell-o-vision to provide a more accurate review.

If you have a newly built wall or are looking for a versatile set of holds, I highly recommend this pack from Metolius. I have been climbing on these holds for about six months now. Decent set and good value.

I received the yellow incut edge set that is pictured and it was exactly what I needed on my wall. A good balance of larger jugs, smaller edges and finger buckets with a couple foot jibs thrown in as well.

Texture is great. The pictured set is quite versatile. The holds can be used on lower angles for easy problems or warm ups and even the smaller holds are positive enough to be used on steeper walls to set more challenging problems.

I have been able to use this set of holds to set challenging problems for my own training as well as easier problems for my kids.

I was expecting the holds in the picture. nice crimps (I don’t care what color). Unfortunately only one or two of the 5 holds I received can be used as hand holds (for advanced climbers. and I have plenty of foot holds already).

Nothing wrong with the quality of the holds, I just should have read the description better I guess? Maybe you guys could post a few pictures of various holds people might receive so they can have a better idea?.

The brush brushes, and is made out of brush. Brushing brush brush. More characters!!!!!!! Gotta type more characters!!!!!!!!!!! Brush. Bruuuuuuuush. Yay

Nothing wrong about it. The brush feels good and sturdy. It’s compact. Most of the time, I just use the big brush they have in a bouldering gym. But it is also handy to clean your shoes and, in my case, my car seat.

This thing is high quality. It is well-made, and they used nice boars hair for the bristles. I use it for not only cleaning over-chalked holds, but to brush the chalk/debris off my climbing shoes at the end of a session.

It does the job extraordinarily well.

So with the pandemic and all we have been finding things we love to learn and haven’t had the time until now. My husband thought these would be a good start. We aren’t experts by any means. However they seemed to be easy to use.

The whole family did in fact. I dont know about other brands because this is new to us and 2as recommend but for these they are nice. Heavy Enough to feel sturdy but light enough that you can use them.

The color really didn’t matter to me at all. However the kids thought the color was neat. I will confess I so t use this as much as the rest of the family. They seem to enjoy it well. If we were to purchase more I would definitely go with this brand again.

Bought two of these for brushing chalk when climbing at my local, indoor gym. Chalk comes off effortlessly with this brush. Would recommend to others!

The handle is comfortable and it fits on my bouldering bag pretty easily. I just wish the brush side was shaped a little differently so I can brush holds a little better, but realistically it probably doesnt really get much better.

I would definitely prefer these shoes for all day climb on moderate grade. The cushioning on heel and upper part adds to the comfort. I used them extensively during the sport climbing trip to Badami.

I’m happy with their performance on routes till 7a. For more difficult routes, they weren’t suitable for me because the toe box is wide as compared to other performance line from Simond e. g. Edge shoes so, it wouldn’t perform very well on very thin edges.

Smearing performance is definitely satisfactory; the split sole increases the softness, which makes them excellent for smearing. They are downturned, soft and the velcro closure system makes it easy to put on and take off.

There is no provision for keeping the permanent so, after long term use, they will flatten out. As far as indoor climbing usage is concerned, for top roping and lead climbing, it is suitable. For bouldering, not so much.

My street size according to decathlon sizing is 43(UK 8. 5) and I used size 40(UK 6. 5) of these climbing shoes. But I’m quite comfortable wearing them. Overall, a good pair of shoes to have for advance intermediates who are climbing around 6b-6c as redpoint grades and for advanced climbers who need to have all day comfy shoes in their pack for multi pitch trad/sport climbs.

I have bought this when I first started bouldering 3-4 months ago. I wear size 3 shoes usually, when i tried size 3 on at first it fit quite tight and was really uncomfortable in store so I went for a size 4 which was perfect (without socks on ofc).

After a few weeks it did stretch and ever since then it is only comfortable with socks on, I wish I would have went for the size 3! I have no issues with the sturdiness of it, it holds really well, the rubber is starting to rub off a bit but that is expected.

As I started to climb V3 and V4 routes I do feel like I need better shoes, but that was expected as well. Overall great shoes to start with, happy with this purchase.

I started climbing a couple months ago and thought buying these would be a good idea to start going more often and improving my technique, I tried them once and was very disappointed by the quality of them, as when climbing the rubber is not good enough and I would slip all the time.

No good grip at all compared to my other climbing shoes, also the straps are way too long and makes climbing uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend these.

I have been looking to branch out from plain color Ts to graphic ones, but not necessarily for the words. I want a more artistic T and this one, plus three others I ordered fit the bill. Nice for intermediate/advance sport climbs. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend these for beginners because there are less expensive shoes out there that work great for beginner routes – if you’re never going past 90 degrees, these are overkill.

But for sending off-vertical routes and overhangs they seem really good. – great form fit (the heel and forefront outsoles are independent pieces of rubber rather than being a single piece of rubber.

It feels that this allows the show to really hug both the ball and the heel really well). – the sole seems to strike great balance between stickiness and durability. – stiff forefront and edges provide good power – comfortable upper material with really wide opening for easy on/off – nice toe cap for great hooking – the downturn isn’t so aggressive that you couldn’t smear when you need to.

– having only had these a few weeks I can’t comment yet on durability, but they seem extremely solid and hope to last. A note: if you’re not used to moderate to aggressive shoes (and wearing them frequently), consider sizing up a half size.

These are tight.

The Methods in Envy Green are easily the most attractive shoe in BDs shoe line. Perhaps I am biased since green is my favorite color, but either way these things are beautiful. My climbing buddy swears by BDs and says they fit true to street size.

However, I found the Methods to be a bit snug in street size and would opt for a half size up for the next pair. This seems to be common with the more aggressive shoes, and despite a bit of loosening up over a few sessions, I don’t expect these to stretch much based on the synthetic materials of construction.

Thankfully the hook and loop dual straps make for a quick removal between routes. These are great for overhung climbing due to the aggressive fit, but I also found them to be very adept at vertical edging.

The heel fits nicely and is perfect for hooking when the routes get a bit bouldery. The double finger loops in the back and tongue loop are nice when putting on the shoe. Overall, this is a nice, versatile shoe for the intermediate level climber.

Disclaimer: I got this shoe online, had I tried it on and fit it better to my foot, it might’ve changed the way I use it. I wear a US Men’s 9. 5 street shoe. The 9. 5 in this shoe is slightly small – even for a climbing shoe.

With the Velcro straps, it works well in the gym where I can take them off after every climb. I definitely would have sized up had I tried them on beforehand. All that being said…. the last is shaped well for my foot being just a little bit wider up front and still holding my heel well.

Downturned toe is great – not the most aggressive ever, so pretty versatile. Stiff enough to inspire confident edging, and sticky rubber that is especially noticeable under the ball of my foot. I really like this shoe and am contemplating getting another pair in the correct size.

VersaClimber replaced my rowing machine for bad weather exercise. Smaller footprint, so I can step right on and go. I have to fold the rowing machine for lack of space, and with severe chronic fatigue I am tired out just from unfolding and moving it.

At first, I set the resistance much too low, and could only do a 2 minute interval. Max resistance minus 1/2 turn or even 1/4 turn allows 12 1/2 minutes so far, hope to increase to 30 minutes. At such high tension, I feel and hear a small pulse in the chain for each sprocket tooth.

I am looking for advice whether this is normal, or whether the chain is too tight. VersaClimber hasn’t answered my query. When not in use, the display is annoyingly like an arcade game come-on, so I unplug between use.

Lack of heart rate max/min/ave is too bad, but I get that from a separate device. Distance travelled disappears in a few minutes, so I need to record it promptly. The description seems to imply that you can switch between parallel and diagonal hand/foot motion, but it comes set for parallel, and the diagonal requires a custom build with a different chain configuration.

The description is ambiguous regarding whether the heart monitor strap is included. It is, which saves a separate purchase and about $80 if you don’t already have the right one. There is a warning about supporting the unit while unpacking.

The warning is in the middle of the manual, so of course my movers overlooked it, bent the metal slightly, cracked the plastic slightly. No loss of function, but such a warning should be on a prominent sticker to be seen immediately on opening the box.

The driving factor in my review is that the resistance between left pedal and the right pedal is not equal. I thought it was a symptom which would dissipate after breaking the machine in but the problem persists.

I put one pedal at the top of its range of motion, attached a heavy weight, timed the drop and did the same with the other pedal. The times were different and I can feel the difference when using the machine.

I did the test because I thought I had a physical imbalance instead of the machine. I’m reaching out to the manufacturer for help, if they figure out the issue and help me balance the resistance then I will consider this a near perfect machine.

I have Tourette’s and ADHD and can’t stop moving. I run so much my legs break, but this gives me a fantastic low impact alternative that gets my heart rate way up. My back is also much stronger and I feel like it’s made me a stronger runner who is now less prone to injury.
