I bought this for my dear mother for Mother’s Day. It is a very nice mug and is very usable. At first. It did not take long for it to become chipped, and not long after that– with hardly any pressure having been exerted upon it–a crack streaked across the entire mug and its contents leaked.

It’s a highly giftable and sweet mug. Unfortunately, however, it is not so sturdy.

I gave it to my mom for Mother’s day this year and she laughed at what it says on the mug. She also cried a little cause it was the best thing I have ever giving her. She uses the mug every morning. She really loves it.

I highly recommend anyone getting this mug for a gift to their mom for Mother’s day or any occasion.

I went to the Paper Store as I have had success finding “just the right” Hallmark card and other Hallmark gifts there in the past. My friend is housebound and I hoped that something would catch my eye for her Birthday.

I noticed this unique looking wine glass that had great color, a butterfly, and the most unusual thing. bling! I knew immediately that it would be perfect. I hit the jackpot! It came in a stunning colorful box and I wrapped it with colorful paper and a big bow on top.

I have visited my friend and noticed that she uses it everyday but not as a wine glass as she does not drink. She has it on her bedside table holding pens and insulin for the coming day. It is cheerful and the exact size to fit on the table top.

She loves it! It was easy to select this gift as it was so pretty and looked like it was “custom-made” just for her!She loves bling! I gave her a Hallmark card to go with the gift. 5 star rating (10 star if you had it). I saw several Lolita wine glasses on display but I was looking for one that was for a 60th Birthday or at the least a Birthday celebration. The staff member was SO accommodating and checked in the back room finding the EXACT one I wanted and a different birthday one plus a special 60th birthday card.

At dinner, unbeknownst to my friend, I had brought my own Lolita wine glass AND the one I purchased at Amy’s Hallmark for my friend. I had the server bring the wine IN my friend’s Lolita “Sassy & Sixty” Birthday glass & my wine glass.

My friend was surprised, elated and ABSOLUTELY LOVED Lolita’s glassware especially that it said “SASSY, SEXY” and Sixty! Thank you for making a special friend’s special birthday so much more SPECIAL! Alas, after paying the bill when I left the restaurant I dropped my glass and even though it was in its box it still broke.

I just love Lolita wine glasses! They are the best celebratory glasses to give as a unique present! I gave the Happy Retirement stemmed glass to one of my daughter’s high school teachers with a bottle of wine.

She loved it. They are such a unique and pretty gift that will serve as a sweet reminder no matter what the occasion when drinking from them. The birthday ones are gorgeous too! They come in stemmed or stemless.

I moved here from NY about a year ago. I was disappointed to not be able to find a Gold Crown Hallmark like I had back east. I would go in at least once a month. I collect Precious Moments and then started collecting Willow Tree.

I work from home and pretty much live in leggings and stretchy pants. I always seem to be on the hunt for the most comfy leggings ever. These capri leggings are it! The fabric is so soft and smooth and nice to touch.

I ordered an XL which is my normal size and they fit true to size. The waist band is soft and comfy all day long, and doesn’t dig into my waist. I’m menopausal age and right now I’m bigger in the middle, so it’s a battle to find leggings that don’t dig in.

These are really perfect. This might be TMI but I usually am a little stinky down “there” by the end of the day, but these bamboo leggings somehow don’t let that happen. I even wore them two days in a row with no odor.

I wish they weren’t quite so spendy thought. I got these on sale and that’s the only reason I tried them. But my goal is to eventually get ankle length leggings from Cariloha as well. Love these!.

Initially I was searching for a simple mortar and pestle to grind some spices. My search led to a molcajete and I was intrigued. I had seen them used as serving dishes in restaurants but never thought about what they were used for except serving.

The more a searched the better information I got. I decided I wanted a real basalt (not composite materials) with a decent size. This one fit all of my requirements and more. The size is great for a good sized serving of salsa verde (about ½ quart or so).

It’s attractive and can be used as a serving dish. Best of all the price is great! When you get it, expect to spend some time “seasoning†it. I found lots of help in the internet and the Mexgrocer site has instructions as well.

I did a bunch of dry grinding the bowl and lip and pestle (both ends with nothing in it. This doesn’t make the bowl smooth but it does break away stone that would loosen with use. Then I took my power sprayer to it for 15 minutes or so.

Any loose material in the crevices and texture. I followed this by grinding some rice as recommended just to see if there was any dust in the crushed rice – there wasn’t. I finished by smashing some salt and garlic in with the rice and worked it in throughout the bowl and let it sit overnight before cleaning it.

The bowl was very useable at this point. Probably overkill for seasoning but it was sort of fun. Using the molcajete is great. I find that I don’t have to peel the tomatoes or tomatillos as I would if using a food processor since the skin is ground up completely by the rough texture of the bowl.

The same for chiles. Garlic onions become a paste. The molcajete does a far better job of grinding and mixing ingredients than a food processor but it does so at the expense of your muscles! After three batches of salsa in one day I really felt it later that night! I later used the molcajete only as a serving dish for guacamole ( I don’t care for pureed avocado so I smashed it with a fork) with the other salsas beside it.

All in all, a great product. You will not be disappointed with this one! By the way. It works perfectly well as a simple mortar and pestle for grinding spices though you may lose some because of the texture.

Mom owns one, it’s 50 yrs old. She gave me a small one and love it, but needed a bigger one. I love the Lava Rock material, texture and detail. It is art from my beautiful culture. Every piece is uniquely crafted to its perfection.

Don’t expect any to look alike. That is the beauty of it. I got one for my Boyfriend in Vegas and one for me just because I fell in love with them. The River Rock is also beautiful but I preferred the Lava Rock.

This Molcajete de Piedra Negra is truly authentic, & exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I plan on using it for the rest of my life !!! I’d like to pass along a couple of great tips for initially “cleaning” the lava grit out of the pours before using your molcajete for the first time.

Believe it or not, I took my molcajete to a self serve car wash & sprayed all of the grit out of it with the high pressure hoses. Then, at home, I ground at least 4 – 6 applications (handfuls) of uncooked white rice, mixed with a tiny bit of water (so the rice didn’t fly all over the place), into the bowl, until the rice began to fill in the holes/pores.

Lastly, I wiped the rice out with a dry cloth (not paper towels). And, needless to say, I’ve been making epic salsa’s ever since. I highly recommend this product to everyone !!!.

Chocolate/Coffee combo is my favorite flavor. This Taza delivers! It has texture from the ground coffee beans, which is why the balance of coffee & chocolate is so satisfying. It’s not a smooth truffle, like some reviewers were expecting apparently.

It’s organic and satisfying. – my new go to decadent treat.

I ordered a few chocolate discs. The texture of this chocolate is grainy and it’s not due to raw pieces of cacao. There are sugar granules strewn throughout the chocolate, which makes it unappetizing and simply too sweet.

It’s like the sugar was added after everything had cooled and never dissolved. Pretty disappointing.

Taza Chocolate is one of the top Chocolates if you like that “old world” taste and feel to your chocolate. It’s slightly gritty as if it was milled with a giant granite stone mill. It’s got a good rich taste, and many flavors including Cinnamon.

The only reason it’s a four is that it is a bit pricy for what you get. I am a huge fan of the circle configuration. It makes for a nice compact chocolate package. My favorite flavors are green chili and black pepper.

I absolutely love this ZOX!!! My daughter gave it to me for Christmas. When I read the card out loud for the rest of my family I could barely make it through and then cried like a baby. It means so much to me that I keep the card on a table right beside my chair so I can read it whenever I see it if I want to.

I wear the ZOX everyday. Now I get to the but: It is so dirty from wearing it every day since she gave it to me I can’t get it clean but I still wear it everyday anyway. I just wish they made it in a dark color too.

This is a beautiful bracelet. My mom passed away so I didn’t get it at first. But I decided I wanted it and I showed my nephew and he asked me to pick one up for his mother, my sister. I did. Before I had a chance to give the bracelet to my nephew to give to my sister, he passed away unexpectedly in his sleep.

Beautiful necklace but color received is different than color shown. Yes, still turquoise – but shown is a greenish turquoise that would work well for a baby girl – however I received a blue turquoise which isn’t as appropriate.

There are several luxury tequilas these days, but this one stands above the rest for me. Perfectly balanced agave flavors in a beautiful bottle.

Unless they accidentally filled the bottle with ever clear and tinted it slight yellow, this was among the worst Anjo tequilas I’ve ever tasted, especially at $90/bottle. My reference tequila is Clase Azul Repasdo.

It’s smoother than most anejo tequilas, but also runs around $150/bottle. This stuff was flat out awful. Burned all the way down and a very harsh on the palate.

Best tequila hands down. I see more expensive ones at like $200 a bottle rated the same or below and all I can say is this is the best tequila out there.

Appreciate El Tesoro Anejo, an exceptionally smooth, additive free, agave tequila you can honestly enjoy straight.
