Its a great book to just pick up and read thru if your into Jeeps, it has history as well as servicing information for most of the vehicle as well as Troubleshooting and Modifications advice. There are plenty of pictures but all black and white.

I felt it needed a bit more TJ specific information but maybe that’s because I have a 2000 TJ. I think its definitely worth having this book if you are new to the Jeep scene as well as those who are seasoned Jeep lovers.

Bought this as a small gift to go with my daughters classic 1999 TJ. Extremely useful.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is my first LEGO Technic build for 30ish years. And while some things have moved on amazingly, the original wonder of the LEGO Technic experience remains. As it sits there in its completed glory, I can almost hear my Jeep saying ‘Yeah OK, I’m a yellow/black box but I’m a solid and dependable yellow/black box that will take you where you need to go.

It may get bumpy at times, but you can rely on me. ’ And then I put my hand on it. Not only does it feel solid and reliable but it’s also smooth. I touch my old, wonderful LEGO Technic go cart and feel the sharp edges of the bricks.

Nothing wrong with this but the rounded nature of these new big yellow structural elements and the rear roll bar, combined with the upbeat yellow vibe, make the Jeep seem friendly and inviting. A few seconds later, I’m rocking it from side to side on its fab suspension.

You may find it hard to resist the urge to do this! With springs in the rear suspension, it doesn’t just flop around; there’s a reassuring sense of controlled resistance as it moves. One area of potential improvement could be to give the rear suspension a slightly greater range of motion, but this doesn’t detract from the experience for me.

Yes, I can drive it on the floor but I must admit I love putting my Jeep on a table where I can see the wheels move up and down at eye level as it climbs over books and other random objects (sorry, I mean dried out stream-beds and boulders).

I can almost hear it humming a happy tune as this is what it’s designed for. Axles moving independently means maximum, adaptive four-wheel drive contact with uneven surfaces. Slow and steady really does win this particular race.

Turning it upside down, I’m reminded of the complexity underlying the clean outer form. Updated connecting elements bolt and weld together new and evolved components in more sophisticated ways compared to how things were done in the time before mobile phones.

But my old go cart is just as great. Then, as now, LEGO Technic gets a gold star for both form and function. Before buying it, I watched the official LEGO Jeep Wrangler Rubicon video and wondered how the moving axle/suspension would work.

This core feature was one of the many new LEGO Technic components that made me smile and say things like ‘Wow! That’s so cool!’ out loud as I put the bits together. Rock the wheels from side to side and it just works.

Fluid motion and strong attachment. Great design. Building and playing with this Jeep gave and continues to give me many happy and therapeutic moments. Whether you’re an adult or a younger builder, I hope you’ll get much enjoyment from this characterful addition to the LEGO family.

Lego Wrangler The first impression I got of this Lego Technic Jeep Wrangler set was “excitement”. The background they chose for the box just makes you excited to open it up and start assembling it. Once opening it and organizing the contents, I found the instruction booklet to be very well laid out and easy to follow.

The system of smaller, individually labeled bags to build the set in stages helps keep the pieces organized and easier to find. Being a Technic set, there are many small pieces and more attention to detail.

Once assembly was complete I could really appreciate all the small details of this set. The articulation of the suspension is great, and closely mimics the actual Jeep Wrangler it was designed after.

The doors and hood open and are neat features, as well as the winch on the front bumper. Another cool feature is the steering. The one thing about this set that I did not like is the directional tires.

These are more like an agricultural type tread design than a typical off-road tire found on a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I do like the bright yellow, but I think it would be cool if they offered it in more colors.

Overall, this is a very fun set to build and play with even after assembly and covers a very wide age group. I must add the best part of all LEGO sets is the fact that we spend time as a family without any electronics involved, is for sure a must in my family and LEGO is a stamp in my household for this reason.

This seems like a pretty good set for $50. It’s got lots of fairly well-working and inventive features such as steering with a surprisingly awful turning radius, Folding rear seat, spare tire/wheel that is interchangeable with the model’s wheels, opening hood, side doors that screw up the side mirror’s position every time they are opened, a mostly decorative winch, and oscillating axle suspension, front and rear.

As usual with a technic vehicle of this style, the wheels are huge and the body is jacked up. My complaints about this set are: 1: the engine is just a flat brick and a sticker that says “Jeep V6” on it.

This sucks. 2: the model’s color is not smooth. The front and rear bumpers and the roof rack are a mixture of dark gray, pale gray, and black. All over the model, orange and blue can be seen when looked at closely.

It would be great if this were not the case. And 3: The rear suspension is way too stiff and has very little travel, and the front suspension is freely oscillating and has double the travel of the rear suspension.

And, quite a bit of interior bits can be seen in-between the wheels and the wheel wells. The giant black spot on the box where this would be seen on the real thing does not help at all. But, overall, I guess that this is a unique and good set.

I like that the suitcase brought a coffee holder and a charger for the phone inside. The handle was a little bit loose and the bag coming with the carry on bag is too small for my PC, so disappointed:(.

I am happy thus far with the Rugged Ridge Wireless AND the Dash Multi Mount System that I purchased for my 2016 JK. But I do think that both products could have been explained more thoroughly because the consumer must purchase 2 separate items to complete this product connection.

And yes, the Wireless connection does allow for the phone to charge while seated in the holder but I had to then go out and purchase a lighter usb charger (so now separate 3 items purchased for this complete package) so that I could plug it in.

I have only used this system for a few times on short highway trips but works with no issues. I would recommend this setup and I have passed on the product information to another Jeepster friend.

I needed a replacement piece for the above head unit trim as mine had a broken clip when I got it and would not stay down. This was a great upgrade from. Just getting another factory one. Personally, I like the magnetic cell phone mounts, so when I say this just came with the ball part to the ball and socket, I took a chance that my bike socket mount would work with it.

Totally glad I took the chance with the fit because it worked beautifully! I would have bought the cell phone mount if it hadn’t but I’m glad it did. It looks really stylish with my dark gray interior.

If I were to wish one thing different it would be if the tray sat closer to the dash and the phone mount were a little taller. This would make it easier to plug in a charging cable while the phone is in portrait mode without getting anywhere near obstructing the rearview.

I would buy again in a heartbeat.

This was VERY easy to install. Took maybe 3 minutes. Looks really good too, as if it was part of the original design. Now when I read the reviews before I purchased it people complained that it didn’t come with anything to hold the phone.

It kinda says it in the product description, so it was no surprise. Plus I already had a magnetic holder from a previous device that I had laying around. Fit perfectly. It’s a bulky addition that blocks my driving view either.

Overall great fit. Very Sturdy. Worked well with the RAM phone holder I also purchased. Does block view somewhat, but I went into purchase expecting that.

Very easy install. Phone holder seems to be working well. Have to be careful with the rubber ends on the phone holder. From other reviews, I hear they tend to break. I’m over a weekend and still holding up great.

This set is pathetic and should be a creator not a technic. I mean come on it’s a jeep, and no differentials, not even a fake little motor. I looked at the instructions and was so disappointed I didn’t even open the bags.

I mean seriously, if you put the name rubicon on the side at least know it has locking diffs etc. the sticker should have said I get stuck easily. I love Lego technic but come on. I get there is a price point, but then change the set to a creator where it belongs.

Not to mention one must punch holes in the box just to open it! Really you just can’t seal it with the normal tape seal or glue. We have to punch the tabs out and then still Un glue the sides. It’s really sad when the Jurassic Park jeeps which are basic look more like an actual Jeep Wrangler.

I was going to get the Ferrari also, should I pass that one up to avoid another major let down? Let’s also add the fact it has the age of 9. Really, there are technic sets 500 times harder then this, more realistic at the same age.

At least change it to age 5. For one who has spent beyond countless thousands of dollars on legos, I have earned the right to gripe. This set is a major embarrassment to the technic name, and worse as an actual Jeep owner, extremely huge embarrassment to the name Jeep.

This is like one the sad fiat issued type jeeps.

I bought the shirt for my husband for Father’s Day and he loves it. I measured one of his shirts and used the size chart and got the perfect size. We do a lot of animal search and rescue and we use our Jeeps and recently rescued and adopted a senior Labrador, so this was just a perfect shirt.

Nice fabric & soft. The cut is slightly longer than my fiancé’s other XL T-shirts but not so much that he won’t wear it. He is not thrilled with the color …he’s more of a black,white, grey or navy guy.

These rims look awesome on the ’95 project Jeep. They make a huge difference from the factory rims that were scratched and pitted. The bead lockers are not functional, but who cares as it still looks good (IMHO).

Put em’ on our 04’ TJ. WAY big improvement over stock wheels. Couldn’t find a better value for the price if you tried real hard. Packaged well, no dents or dings, heavy duty steel wheels. Only hitch was they were to include both chrome and black center caps but only came with chrome.

Got a hold of extreme terrain and notified them of this, had the black center caps in 5 days, no muss, no fuss. Will post pictures when we get a lift and bigger tires. (Currently runnin’ 32 x 11. 50’s) Goin to mount 33 x 12.

I am satisfied with these grab handles. They are exactly as advertised. I just had one challenge. After reading the instructions and watching an install video, I began the endeavor. Here is where I had my problem: installing the driver’s side handle.

It took over 30 minutes. This was the result of lots of little things adding up to one big issue: the steering wheel being in my way, the angle of approach being wonky for the second screw, and not being able to see clearly if the screw was going into the hole.

I accept that maybe I was doing it wrong, since ultimately it did fit. Also, the passenger side took less than three minutes to install. I know, I timed it. I am not unhappy at all with the product and would absolutely recommend, just with the warning that the driver side might be a challenge.

Overall I’m happy with the look and feel of these grab handles. Making it easier for my girlfriend to get in and out of her Jeep now that we put the lift on. I’m disappointed that the instructions were backwards in which length bolt and spacer go in which location.

This caused for confusion and lengthened the install. I’m also disappointed the bolts are not painted black like they show in the photo. Silver doesn’t look terrible but the black would have made for a cleaner look.

I also think the handles should have an indication of what side they go on as they are side specific and you may start the install on the wrong side if you don’t pay attention to the holes.

Great sturdy handles. Would be 5 stars if not for the confusing install instructions. Took me a few minutes to figure out they were wrong. Where it tells you to put the long spacer is actually where the short one goes and vice versa.

I have another one from Chrysler, and being that they are of epic quality, I decided to look for a Jeep one since I own a Jeep. These wheel key fobs are the same at what they sell at the dealership, but half the cost, and I’m happy I ordered one.

The chrome doesn’t stain or tarnish, it’s really smooth, and the logo doesn’t come off and is also scratch free. I definitely recommend these key fobs and will always go back and get more as needed. Another thing I liked about these wheel key fobs is that they look cool and aren’t bulky at all.

You won’t go wrong with these. Impressively well built. Not cheaply sown together with even cheaper velcro like so many others (which come apart in under a year of mild use). Large surface area to grab on, great for medium to large hands, may feel too big for those with smaller hands.

Handles my 250+ lbs. with full weight on them (not sure what the’re actually rated for). Will certainly recommend these above any others to my fellow Jeepers and others. Good Stuff Bartact!.

Easy Install and is a nice accessory which fits the tactical look I’m going for with my jeepGreat product and well made. Having worked with Paracord a considerable amount in my past military experience I was worried that the ends wouldn’t be secure enough and would unravel eventually.

After receiving these I could tell that a lot of thought and time was put into the production to where that wont be an issue. The one thing that the photos don’t show is that if you are going for a color other than black that only one side of these will be in that color the other side will be black which is fine by me as it adds depth to the product and transitions well with my black interior.

I give these grab handles a 4 out of 5. They are very well made and are very sturdy. We have never had an issue with holding on to them and the Velcro not holding or any slipping of the handle. They are very comfortable and look really cool.

The only negative I have and the reason I give it 4 stars is the Yellow paracord has faded over time. Positives:Sturdy/StrongStableCompfortableInitial LooksNegatives:Color faded within the year.

My daughter has been wanting a gray sweatshirt and since we just bought her a jeep this was perfect. It is true to size. She is 5’4″ and weighs 105 lbs and usually wears a small but I bought her a Medium because she likes her sweatshirt to a little big.

Very well made. I would say it’s a good Medium weight sweatshirt. Its pretty soft and should be softer even after you wash it. I would buy it again.

While these are a bit pricey the grab handles are as solid as they could be. Very strong and high quality. Definitely follow the directions on cleaning out the threads of the nut receptacles with your new bolts prior to installing to prevent cross threading.

After struggling with the first one, I found it easier to start threading in the side bolt through the A pillar first then thread in the upper bolt second. This is the opposite of what the directions call for.

My one complaint about fit is the spacers. The ends are flat and so do not fit the contour of the curved handle. For a perfect fit the spacer should be radiused for the handle curvature. Overall very happy though.

These mount in a great location. Much better than just on the top bar. Others mention don’t lose a bolt. O put a rubber glove in the bottom of the hole and used a magnet to get the bolt out. The bolts on mine were really tough to get out.

I had to run either bolts to clear the threads and in some I used a tap to clear them. The grips then went in and fit perfectly. They’re solid steel and USA made. Would recommend them.

I installed these grab handles, took around 30 minutes. I didn’t have problems with thread lock build-up or with sun visor clearance once installed (as some others seem to have experienced). I will tell you that 1) when they warn you right in the (well presented) instructions to be careful that you don’t lose the 13mm side a-pillar bolt down inside the trim – they mean it.

Even while being careful I still lost it. And while you don’t need to re-use it – I couldn’t fall asleep at night knowing it was rattling around in there. Also, getting the new included bolts to thread correctly is a little challenging.

Based on others’ comments, I took my time and it went fine. They’re rock solid and I think they look pretty cool.

the shirt was poor quality for the price. i liked the design a lot, but the quality of the shirt resulted in me returning the shirt. the return process was pretty smooth although i lost out on some shipping cost.

I was actually really surprised by how comfortable this sweatshirt is. It’s soft and appears to be pretty nice quality. If you’re looking for an ExtremeTerrain hoodie, I’d recommend this one.

Quality is amazing as always but the fit is small. Definitely runs smaller than the old zip ups. You will want to size up. The design is perfect!

This is a great sweatshirt. Would have given it a 5 star if it wasn’t for the strange fit. The shoulder and sleeves are a large but around the waist it gets tight more like a medium. It was also the same fit with the grey zip-up.
