The images are stunning which is in line with all of Ambers design work. and is of course what lead me to purchase the book to begin with. However other than beautiful imagery, most of which I was already familiar with from her social media and blog, I felt that the book lacked deeper value.

We already know White Dove and Simply White are go to paint colors and that mixing metals is on trend. I don’t know I guess I expected more advice that I could apply to my current home or our new construction project but I felt that I didn’t really leave with any key takeaways.

I do however like the aesthetics of the book itself and it will probably find a place to live on my built ins.

I am so glad that I bought this book at Target when I saw it a few weeks ago. Apparently it must be popular because the store and others around me have sold out. It is an aesthetically pleasing book.

I love perusing the pages and looking at Amber Lewis’s beautiful interiors. There are tips on styling and paint, etc. which I find very helpful as well.

A beautiful coffee table book. Great gift for anyone interested in home decor and design. Lots of informative nuggets from Amber Lewis. Though she has a specific style, this book is meant for “all sorts of styles.

” It’s also a great way to get designer tips and tricks on a budget.

This is a very beautiful piece, it’s like a piece of art as a bowl on the center of my formal dining table. I received it as a gift from my daughter and I adore it. The bowl is very well made, no bubbles, large enough for many different things (I keep fruit in the summer, silver glass ornaments at Christmas time, I have glass butterflies I put on the edge in spring and during fall I have several colorful glass leaves I put inside).

I always get so many nice compliments!.

This bowl is absolutely beautiful and looks more expensive than it cost. I bought it in blue because it picks up the colors I want on my dining room table. I imagine it’s lovely in other colors too.

The Aura – Mason Luxe 9. 7″ LCD Wi-Fi Digital Photo Frame is a very cool piece of technology. I used to own a few of the old-fashioned digital frames where you had to load pictures on an SD card that you inserted into the frame to play back pictures.

This new frame is so much easier to use in every way, plus the large LCD screen provides for high quality looking pictures. Following are some of the features I really like about this digital photo frame: – It is very easy to set up and use.

Basically just download the Aura Frames App, plug in the frame, connect the frame to WiFi using the on screen instructions, turn on Bluetooth to connect to the frame and you are ready to load pictures.

– Loading pictures is very easy. You can choose whether to add a whole album or your entire camera roll or just select the specific pictures you want to add. I like to select certain pictures. You just click on that option in the Aura App and it then brings up your camera roll.

You simply scroll through your camera roll and select each picture you want to add to the frame. When you have selected all your pictures and click on done, it adds those pictures to your Aura App and to your frame.

It is easy to add additional pictures whenever you want or delete pictures. The frame has unlimited storage for photos, so you can add as many as you want. – This frame allows you to use it either horizontally or vertically.

The pictures automatically rotate. For the pictures you add to the frame, it gives you an option to crop or resize the pictures by dragging them to the spot you want in the viewing area and resizing them to fill out the viewing area or shrink them to show the whole picture, etc.

This makes it convenient to show the part of the picture you most want to show. It also has an edit function to remove red-eye in the App. – The App is very handy. It lets you do some editing, as mentioned, choose the order of your slideshow either chronologically or shuffle them all randomly, choose the timing of how fast it switches pictures, turn the frame on and off or dim and brighten based on the brightness of the room, select to auto play any videos loaded, with or without sound, control the sound level, add members, name your frame, and various other settings.

– There is a cool feature that also allows you to add other members to your frame. You can send invites to friends or family members. Once they download the Aura App and accept the invitation, they can add photos directly to your frame from anywhere.

This will be very convenient for my adult kids to be able to add any new pictures of grandkids, for example, or anything else and surprise us with new pictures. You can add as many members as you want.

– If you are thinking about giving this frame as a gift, one cool feature they added is a QR code on the box that allows you to preload a picture onto the frame without giving you future access to the frame.

I could see giving this as a wedding gift, with a pre-loaded picture of the couple already on it. This would be a nice surprise as they open the gift. – In addition to the App, you can also use a touch bar control on the actual frame.

There is one on the horizontal and vertical side of it. This bar lets you scroll through the pictures quickly to find a certain one, delete pictures, stop on a certain picture, turn the frame on and off, etc.

I have my frame set up to be on a picture for several minutes before it scrolls, so I can see where guests might want to be able to scroll quickly through all the pictures on the frame and the manual touch bar on the frame is a nice option to do that without needing the App.

I really haven’t found anything I don’t like about this frame or that I think they could have done better. It seems like they have thought of everything needed to make using a digital frame easy and convenient and allow it to interact easily with the pictures on your Smart Phone.

You can also choose to add pictures to the frame from your PC if that is where you have them stored. I really like this frame and I intend to get at least one more for my house. You can control multiple frames from the single App and have different pictures on each one.

I highly recommend this frame for anyone thinking about a digital frame!.

In the age of digital transformation, I appreciate it when companies try to bring something more tangible/physical into our lives. All in all, the Aura-Mason Luxe blew my expectations out of the water, but there were still a few things I’d like to change.

This is interesting from the jump because it has felt like digital frames emerged about ten-fifteen years ago as a novel concept but dialed to gain much traction. Now, they’re starting to make a bit of a comeback with less drawbacks of frames from yesteryear thanks to new LED frames like this that are brighter and sharper than ever.

The packaging for this product is great, it makes you feel like you have a high quality item from the start which is always a plus in my eyes. Out of the box, the frame itself has screen protector film on it from shipping that you’ll remove when using, and you may notice the frame to be a bit deeper/thicker than expected which is one of few drawbacks here.

Not ideal for wall mounting but still great to set on a desk/nightstand. The other drawback is that this is yet another tech item that has an app associated with it which is beyond common at this stage but also eye rolling that every tech item nowadays needs yet another app to download, sign up, and use with it but alas here we are.

The app, as many do, has some functionality flaws but is primarily used to upload photos. The nice thing here is that there’s seemingly unlimited cloud storage for free and you can upload tens of thousands of photos and select which you want to use, playback speeds, etc, but I only threw a couple dozen on my frame, couldn’t imagine wanting or needing thousands but that’s up to you.

The wifi/Bluetooth setups were simple to say the least and another big pro is that you can have multiple Aura members upload photos. This would be a great gift for the family where everyone can upload pics to the frame and have grandma keep the frame at the house with a constant stream of uploaded pictures from the family who may be too busy or too distant to always see each other.

In closing though, the frame shines with its crystal clear display, an auto quality filter to ensure you’re not uploading duplicates/best quality pictures, as well as an auto brightness feature that dims the frame and night and brightens it in the day to ensure it always looks it’s best.

I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

The aesthetics of this thing are great – no doubt. The materials are generally fine, except for a few locations where they could have used aluminum instead of plastic – especially given the price. The easy to remove panels and filters are fantastic – especially as you build your machine and continually have to test what works and what doesn’t.

Although it fits a very beefy video card (EVGA’s RTX 2080 FTW3) and CPU cooler (Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro), these larger components do start to limit room to maneuver cables as you get closer to finishing your build.

I also had to put in a larger PSU (1200W) than originally planned. This case fits my 850W PSU perfectly, with lots of room to spare for the bigger MB, PSU, and VGA cables. However, the PSU on my kid’s machine croaked and I ended up putting the 850 in that case, while I upgraded to a 1200W on my own build (due to a sale, not because I really needed it).

The room to connect the cables on this setup is VERY tight. It can be done, but it is not without difficulty. On that note, a lot of the cables have to be run behind the MB, as with most cases, but that space is exceedingly narrow.

Luckily there are cutouts on the panels for extra Velcro ties, but no extras are included with the case. It took a lot of finicky cable puzzling work to get everything to a point where the back glass panel wasn’t faced with a tonne of pressure.

I ended up having to secure that panel with a screw to make sure it wouldn’t pop out at some point. Speaking of needing extras – while the Nexus 9 fan controller actually does a really good job balancing noise and cooling, its placement in the case is.

terrible. It’s at the bottom-front of the case (close to the 180 mm fans), but needs to be connected to the CPU fan and PSU (top rear). I needed fan extension cables to connect my CPU fans to the Nexus 9, which – again – should have been included but weren’t.

It also requires additional power from the SATA connector on the PSU, which means, more cables in an already cramped space. All in all though, these are ultimately surmountable obstacles, and only act as minor detractors from an otherwise highly functional and effective case that keeps my components cool at minimal noise – and it’s not bad on the eyes either.

Hopefully, Fractal Design can continue to build on this design and add a few more quality of life changes to future iterations.

I’ve always been a fan of air-cooled cases and hardware because of its simplicity. This case puts all that first and then sorts out the rest. Too many air-cooled case designs are held back by permanent brackets that get in the way of larger fans, creating noise and restricting air-flow.

This case has zero obstructions in front of or behind the dual 180mm fans in front, not counting the necessary dust filter. In order to install smaller fans you have to add the brackets, a simple solution.

The lower part of the case is also covered by fans allowing for high positive pressure to reduce dust and force hot air out. No rear fan is required because the air flow is so abundant. I have all the fans running at about 48% speed, give or take, and it’s plenty of airflow while keeping the case almost completely silent.

The included fan-hub works great for this (just be sure it’s the new version, I think it says v1. 1 on the board). Inside the case is very roomy, plenty of space to do whatever you want and no worries about current or future GPUs not fitting.

Even the width of the case is roomy allowing easy install of the NH-D15 with headroom to spare. The back side where the cable management is well designed for routing, but it could use another centimeter of space or so.

Just take your time and get everything routed neatly and close up the side panel, hopefully it shouldn’t be a problem until you plan to change or upgrade something. Exterior of the case is intimidating, it looks like an old IBM server brought into a futuristic design.

I went with this full opaque case for the extra dark look. Overall I think Fractal has nearly hit the apex with this one, just need to clean up some minor issues and it’ll be an almost perfect design.

I only wish they had the White Solid case available, it doesn’t exist (yet?), but I’m fine with the Black Solid.

I am stunned by the aesthetics of this case. It has clean lines, a massive front grill, small details like the gray bezel surrounding the power button, a honey comb rear grill, a chamfered edge metal front logo plate and a ton of space.

This case is enormous! I was taken aback with the sheer size of it. For scale, I uploaded a photo of it sitting next to my old Dell XPS tower and it absolutely dwarfs it! I decided to forgo the glass panel as flashy RGB is not my style and I think it looks so aggressive without it.

This case has serious presence sitting on my desk. The front grill is plastic which is to be expected, along with the surrounding bezel. The paint however is a matte black which I love. Every seam is very tight, you can tell this is a premium case.

The Fractal packaging was delightfully thoughtful with a fun logo pattern adorning the inside of the box and good graphic design on the parts boxes & manual. It’s Apple-level of detail, very impressive.

I’m extremely happy with my purchase, looking forward to building my Intel Adler Lake machine in it this weekend. Feb 12th, 2022 Followup: Installed everything and this case just simply shines. Cable management is a breeze thanks to built-in velcro cable ties.

Love the PSU container, plenty of room for excess wiring that remains completely hidden. This case is really silent too. At idle it’s whisper-quiet. Construction is built to last, very heavy duty and satisfying to build in.

I’m 62 and put this together in a little over an hour. Perfect alignment of parts just LOOK at the pictures to determine where what goes. Easier than any Ikea over ever purchased. I’m so excited to install this in my powder room It’s beautiful and the groves are deeper than anticipated.

had purchased this a while back for a remodel. The box was only finally just opened (4 mos post purchase) and there are missing pieces and the quality is so poor. Was rebuffed when we tried to return.

what a waste of money. Don’t bother with this in a bathroom, the MDF will warp in the humidity.

Love the jack, it’s different and fun. I purchased the larger one which looks great on our dark stained shelving. The gold is beautiful and a nice burst of color to mix in with all my silver accessories.

It is dimensionally accurate but I would have preferred about 1/3 bigger

I bought this for my daughter so she can have her own workspace in my home office. I was looking at a piece from the line of my existing desk at over twice the price of this one, but saw this and thought it would be a better value, and I was right! Assembly was moderately easy.

Lots of parts, and pay attention to the embossed ‘cr’ and ‘cl’ on the drawer rails, so you can get those on the right side. The dividers for the hutch only had holes for dowels on one side, but because the dowels only serve to keep the divider from sliding and don’t provide structural support, it doesn’t functionally affect the unit.

All the pieces were clearly marked, save the step of having to separate the drawer brackets by left and right side-they had the same ‘letter’ sticker on them. Read through all the instructions, balance your chi, and take your time.

It took me about an hour all told. Could have done it in half the time if pushed, but given how frustrating these things can be, we did not. DON’T Use a power drill, or do so very carefully! Hubby ended up over screwing a screw and we have a nice lump on the top of the hutch now.

(Not noticeable, but a bummer) A few of the bolts went in a little crooked, but we realized that pounding in the plastic inserts before screwing in the bolts helped a little. Otherwise we’d give them a gentle whack with a mallet and they’d straighten right up.

The pieces aligned very nicely and the cams closed well (remember to point the arrow towards the ‘hole’ when inserting them. ) The rounded edges and style finishes on this desk are very nice and complement the desk and shelves I already have in my office.

The design is much sturdier than a previous desk I bought from Target, and the drawers are ample and pretty sturdy (the bottoms are kind of thin, but not much different than the much pricier desk I already own, and they provide hanging racks for files for the larger drawer, so use those and you should be able to fill that drawer just fine.

) The hub is a nice bonus, and wasn’t the main reason I bought the desk, but it’s nice. The modesty panel sits a bit inside the desk so you can put the desk right in front of an outlet without having to give it a lot of wall clearance.

Despite the poor reviews, I ordered this desk because I liked the design and I liked the fact that it had built-in USB & Electrical outlets. The box it came in weighed 80lbs, so be sure to have it shipped to where you plan to install it.

This desk is a step up from Ikea’s products, but it’s still made from particle board with wood veneers, and is put together in a similar fashion of Ikea’s (nothing is totally secured like real wood furniture) despite coming with screws, etc.

It says don’t use a drill, but no way was I using a screw driver by hand. That would have taken me longer to assemble. I tried to make sure everything was as secure as I could get it, but I mean, don’t try to drag or lift it too much.

I think if you want to beef it up, you can go buy some L brackets and secure some areas. It took me a total of 4 hours to put the desk together by myself, and honestly it wasn’t hard at all. You MUST follow the assembly directions, otherwise you will be completely lost and most likely you will skip a step and be all turned around.

For instance, I didn’t notice the 2 metal bars until the end that are made for those hanging folders (I didn’t need them anyway) and I would have to take apart the drawer to be able to fit them in. I also didn’t realize the metal arms for the drawers were stamped with R & L, so I had to switch those at the end for the drawers to roll properly.

I also had some damage to the back end of the table top, but when I put it together, you don’t see it. I think it looks quite professional, and I love the 3 drawers, as well as the top shelf. The plugs are great for my laptop and phones too.

The only issue I had was really the height is a couple inches shorter than what would be ideal. I would prefer my laptop sit slightly higher so I’m not constantly look down at my screen. Overall, I’m quite happy with my purchase and it’s been a great desk for me and a lot more usable than the junk I had before.

(BTW, I had a promo code, so I only paid $109 for this desk (w/ free shipping) – def. try to get a coupon, cuz it’s not worth the $150 they have it listed for. ).

I’ve the desk less than a year for my transition to working from home. Assembly was simple and didn’t take too long – however someone of the premade holes for installation did not line up creating lasting issues.

I am now dealing with drawers falling apart because of those problems – so if you need a desk and don’t need drawers, this is great. But if you need to actually utilize the desk to its full use, maybe rethink your decision and go with a different option.

I wanted new tables in our living room. Our room has a grand piano (full) and four club chairs. I bought two. One between each set of two chairs. I wanted something w drawers to hold all that stuff one can collect on tables.

These are perfect. The size including the height is fantastic! They are well constructed and are very functional. They arrived sooner than I expected and were well packed with absolutely no damage. That makes my life a whole lot easier! We will use thick felt coasters to protect the top.

We live in the Rocky Mountains with no air conditioning so our windows are open spring and summer. I anticipate these will be super easy to clean by using a soft cloth.

I thought it looked good on the website, but it’s truly fantabulous right here, in MY LIVINGROOM! Pictures just don’t do it justice! Talk about Functional! It has drawers and the tabletop lifts open to a large storage compartment that makes it possible to hide many of my”secrets”!!! An amazing acquisition! (just one, very minor, gripe!.

About a week and a half of unpleasant ‘stank’ as the chemical off-gassing aired out finally!).

This piece of furniture is really beautiful, but extremely low. Also, the alignment of the doors is very hard to achieve. After a while, they loosen and you must tighten them back up.

That’s about as far as the love went. Ordered end of November 2019, said it was in stock and there would be a 3 week lead due to processing and shipping. After waiting 3 weeks for tracking, I called for an update, since I had received no emails aside from the order confirmation, and was that it was back ordered.

Date was moved out farther a total of 3 times and finally shipped over 2 months later on Jan 29th. Upon arrival, I was surprised that this was made of such poor material. It is extremely lightweight and the lid is very flimsy, the hinge has way too much play and slides around.

To make matters worse, the slot for the glasses is exactly 2. 5 inches across. I have been searching for months for nice crystal glasses that can fit, even opting for highball glasses, which were not what I wanted, and cannot be more than 5 3/4 inches tall otherwise the lid won’t shut.

You might get lucky and find some ordinary narrow highball to fit, but I am totally displeased with the entire experience with this globe bar. Its been way too much time and aggravation, for a cheaply made decor item that cannot function for the purpose it was sold.

I don’t recommend purchasing.

The Globe was easy to assemble and solid. There was only one screw that was stuck and didn’t go all the way through but other than that everything was great. The shipping was fast, within a week. The product looks nice as described in the website.

I would definitely recommend it.

We thought we were getting a globe as pictured in the description. What we received was a globe that had much darker solid colored and reddish legs and swing arm. The picture of the globe matches perfectly which tells me this is either a different product or is what intentionally photo shopped to be more appealing.

The decals that make the globe don’t align well in various places and there is an odd dotted line that splits the globe, which is also hidden in the picture. When open, the inner graphics are pitted around the entire interior surface of the upper half of the globe.

Bottom line is that it looks a bit “cheaper” in person and up close only gets worse. It’s not worth sending back and we like everything else about the product. Seems a shame a little more attention to detail can’t be paid to this product and just get it right vs giving it the glamour shots treatment.

I will definitively stay away from this company. I purchased a nightstand delivered last day of March. It came in a box that looked fine from outside but the nightstand was not new, was damaged. I informed them next day and they were asking me for photos and a video.

We are April 23th, almost a month after a purchase and they did not refund me yet. Because it is an online company that is intermediate between manufacturer and customers they do not feel responsible if you are delivered a furniture in bad shape.

I will not purchase here anymore and will recommend do not do business with this company. It is awful.

Nice little nightstand. I bought two of them. Pros: I really appreciated that they arrived already assembled. The stain is a nice dark color. (When full sunlight hits them, you can see that they’re a reddish brown.

) I like the drawers. Storage is always a plus. It is made of real wood. Cons: The back of the nightstand needs to be against a wall. The backs have a non-matching, laminate backboard. This is fine for my use, but you won’t be able to, say, use it as an end table in the living room.

The drawers are shallow. The knobs feel cheap. It had a bit of an odor that took a long time to fully dissipate. All of that said, I’m glad a bought them, and they look good in my space. They’re not necessarily my 100% dream nightstands, but they’ll definitely be mine for many years.

First off, these floating frames are made of plastic, not glass. This makes the second problem even worse. The product sticker placement is horrible! I bought 2 sets, 1-8×5 floating frame, and 2-5×7 floating frames.

Each of the frames have two stickers on the back layer of plastic, and are visible through your photo or artwork. I attempted to remove the stickers and residue, and the residue smeared everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE! I tried plain dish soap, vinegar, GooGone, fingernail polish remover, and baby oil, but nothing removed the residue and further smeared it on the entire back frame.

In my last effort to clean it with soap the plastic frame ripped about 2”. The stickers would have been a pain to remove on regular glass, but still would have come off. Plastic is a completely different story.

I do not recommend these frames, and wish I would have read the description more thoroughly before purchasing.

Over the last few months, I have purchased many of the 5 x 7 Belmont picture frames. They are reasonably priced and the exact size I need. The colors, white, black, silver, gold, gray and wood tones were perfect for my needs.

The Michaels rewards and sales were awesome. I bought a couple of frames at full price, several fames when they were on sale, buy one, get one free. and many when they were buy one get two free! I am 81 years old and during the pandemic, I decided to take up water coloring.

a change from my knitting. I have made landscapes, wonky trees, and the three sisters mountains in Oregon. My favorite were the Christmas trees. I framed them for gifts, and the size was perfect for mailing.

Really annoyed to get this home and unwrapped and find out they have affixed two stickers directly to the plastic. So DO NOT purchase this frame expecting to use it for multiple smaller or odds shaped items.

Tried every safe substance I knew of to remove the sticker residue from the plastic but there are still smears. UNUSABLE for the purpose for which I purchased it (to display two hand-drawn note cards).

Very disappointed. The large main label was appropriately placed between the plastic “plates” but those two idiotic stickers completely ruin it for having any open spaces anywhere but within a half inch from the edge.

The frame itself isn’t terrible though definitely overpriced unless you get it on sale.

This is exactly what we were looking for and hoping for. I wanted something of a softer textile but actually like that this is more of a tight weave material. It looks of high quality and is put together very well.

It is soft to sit on yet sturdy enough for many feet/legs to be on it. We set up our family room with four chairs facing one another and this in the middle, looks amazing! The color is great, it is more of a grey with a tad bit of ash to it so not a warm grey but right in the middle.

It is large, love it! Measurements within the comments are exact. Thank you Walmart, another great purchase! Delivery was much faster than quoted as well :).

This ottoman is the perfect family-friendly addition to our living room. It is functional and fun and blends well with our sectional. We were looking for something to replace a coffee table since our little ones were climbing & standing on our former one.

This ottoman is sturdy enough to be a seat and serves as a leg rest for our sectional. In terms of value for money, it is on the expensive side for what it is and in comparison with other furniture we bought recently.

However, we were willing to spend in order to add this pop of color to our living room and are pleased with the purchase!.

I found this exact same ottoman on other sites but Houzz was selling it for much less, with shipping included. And it arrived in 2 days (in Las Vegas). And it looks Amazing in my living room! Great quality fabric and nice, larger size, but not too big.

I wish I needed more of these because I would love one in every color for every room. I get tons of compliments, its a great piece of furniture.

I’ve never bought a glasses case, but after tiring of the free ones (that came with my glasses) breaking, I decided to try this. Very happy with the cheery color and quality pebbled leather, as well as silver hardware.

Holds my readers normally, but when I’m at the office it’s also helpful to hold my sunglasses, airpods, and lip gloss to keep them contained during the day. Big enough to hold both readers and sunglasses (mine aren’t too big) comfortably when I have need.

Only possible wish is for some sort of clip / carabiner to be able to attach it to a bag, but that’s a small need. Definitely recommend.

First, there was no packing slip in the package. Second, the item was seriously misrepresented online. It clearly has a white face online while in reality the face of the clock is a strange looking pale green with the deeper green hands green hands matching the exterior of the clock.

The green exterior and hands are well represented and are a great color. However, the time is difficult to see because there is not enough contrast between the hands & the face of the clock. I would not have ordered it had I known the white face was not white.

I really wanted to like this clock and am so disappointed it is unacceptable. Back it goes.

This is metal on outside. Very nice and looks like pic. Looks like good quality. It was too small for where I wanted to put it, I did see measurements when I ordered but after taking it out the box and holding it on the wall it looked too lost (too small with my picture I want to put it above).

The description is accurate, so no complaints about that, it did say the correct size, I just did not visualize it in my mind well enough as to how it would look as far as size goes. I did not add batteries so have not actually used it to know how well it works.

So, I am reviewing this for the looks of it more than how it runs as I have no way of knowing that part.

love this clock! has literally zero “tick tock” sound which i cannot live with. and it’s so retro looking and cute! thinking of getting a different color when i move into a new place this summer to put in other rooms! definitely recommend for the look, color, and zero noise!!.

It took a lot of courage to order this clock and justifying the purchase price was somewhat difficult. When I took this iconic reproduction out of the (basic) box it filled me with awe! A beautiful item which I stared at for quite a long time before fixing to the wall.

The subtle shadows created by the twelve points highlight the clocks perfect proportions.

For the money, you would think this clock would last a lifetime or half a lifetime. Not so! Filed a warranty after it stopped working in 4 years and the new clock did the same thing and stopped working after another 4 years but this time warranty doesn’t cover it.

Love the design but will not recommend to anyone looking to buy quality clock.

Absolutely gorgeous. I bought my orange color after much debate about what would suit my grey, white and walnut interiors. The clock is finished beautifully and is very precise. No wobble with the hands as long as you adjust from behind, and not be lazy grabbing the hands lol.

I expect this to last a lifetime, no pitting in the steel, no discoloration. A beautiful piece. Cheeky and lovely to look at, especially the soft shadows in the late afternoon. I am thrilled with the investment.

Less is more and the right pieces make your home look incredible and uncluttered. ^^.

If you want a high quality, flexible machine, this is the one to look at first. We looked at machines from Pfaff, and Viking/Husqvarna also, but feel, from our experience with Bernina, that Bernina is better.

My wife has been sewing with Bernina machines for more than 30 years. She still has her first Bernina, and it still works beautifully. She can still get parts for it also, just in case. Bernina machines are reliable, efficient, last a long time if maintained properly, and user friendly.

When my wife’s passion for embroidery and quiltmaking outpaced her machine’s capabilities, we looked at the upper end Bernina models, and found that the 8 series machines were up to the task at hand.

We realized that a NEW Bernina 8 series would cost the same as a new small car! You have to justify buying one far beyond just sewing and a bit of embroidery. So what would the machine have to do to make it worth the money? Turns out it does just about everything.

Depending on model, it has enough built-in stitches to decorate any piece of sewing you want to do. And, with the optional (expensive) embroidery module, you have a powerhouse combination. The 8 series also includes productivity aids that have been developed in previous models, but continue to set the standard.

We didn’t justify buying a new one, but we did find a used one that had low stitch count and hours used at a reasonable price. Go for it – you’ll be glad you did.

This machine is massive. I recommend it for sewers who have experience with the parts of a sewing machine and also computer knowledge as it is basically computerized. I was able to acclimate my use by watching videos specific to this model.

I am looking forward to my new creations with confidence.

This knee lift has a longer extension from the machine than the one that came with my Bernina 830 Record Sewing Machine. This one allows me to position the machine further from the edge of the table than the one I already had.

I suspect the short one is for a machine in a cabinet and the longer one if for a more portable application. I would not have thought of this had I not seen this knee lift on ebay. It was a bit pricey but it will make using my machine much more convenient.
