Today, I called Customer Service & I am returning this apron as “defective”. Return fee is to be waived so except for the effort of returning, this purchase will get a full refund. From a distance, the apron is pretty & entirely suited to Christmas time.

However, holding the material up to the light, the weave is not tight. Porous material means some food residue involved in cooking, serving, & eating could slip through to clothes below. The neck strap is adjustable through two thin & small metal “loops” or “rings”.

Chintzy. The size of the metal loops is very small (& in fact the neck strap is very narrow). I get the neck strap adjusted to the correct size but the loops are so “chintzy” that nothing holds together.

The neck strap falls to a longer length. I tried repeatedly to make it work but I cannot get the neck strap to stay at the length I need. (I buy a lot of LUG bags from the Q. Amy Rickter puts amazing & “QUALITY” hardware on all her products.

The apron people need the same quality hardware as LUG uses. ). The next thing I noticed is, the apron is too long in the torso. When I get the straps tied around my waist, there is plenty of room on length around my waist.

However, there is a ballooning of the material in the torso. I own at least 20 aprons (collect for all seasons, in many pretty colors/designs just because I like aprons) & I have never run into this problem with the excess material at the torso.

??? Finally, the “sewing” has a problem. I have a sewing machine & am not an expert. However, when seams are sewn, there is a thing called “tension” between the “top thread” and the bottom thread. If the tension is not balanced between the top and the bottom thread, there will be an uneven seam either from looking at the top or looking at the bottom.

or sometimes you can see it from both sides. THE TENSION ON THE SEAMING OF MY APRON WAS NOT BALANCED IN MOST OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE APRON. In fact, in one part the “stitching is already broken, undone”.

In using and washing this apron, it would not take too long for the seams to become “undone”. Besides, looking unprofessionally sewn, the apron seams would sooner than later become undone. I would have to take the original stitching out and resew the apron.

These are the reasons I am returning this apron as DEFECTIVE and giving it a One Star despite the 5-star review of the first customer. Now, perhaps the apron I received was a “fluke”. However, I have tried to be honest and meaningful in my review.

I’m very impressed with the just about every aspect of my new cookware! I hadn’t heard of the Cook N Home brand prior to my owning their 12-Piece Nonstick Stay Cool Handle Cookware Set in Marble Pattern.

I don’t quite understand why it’s called “Marble Pattern” because the set is actually a gorgeous and bright, shiny cardinal red color. The nonstick interiors of the pots and pans are black, and the four lids are clear glass with silver trim (they are shared by six pots and pans).

The lids have black “Stay Cool” rubber grips covering steel handles. I’ve had this item for a couple weeks and have used every single pot, pan, lid and utensil that come with the set. I cannot, honestly, believe how nonstick these pots and pans truly are! Well, I guess I have to include the utensils, as they are totally nonstick, too! I added a short viceo below to try and demonstarte this to you if you are questioning this quality! After having washed this manually only, I cannot attest to wetheer they hold up to the diswasher, but I like them so much I don’t want to risk it! My husband is a parttime chef at our house, as well as me, and he loves them just as much as I do! The only aspect of this cookware that I’d change is that I’d include something that is transferable to the oven, ie) one pot that doesn’t have the Stay Cool Handle.

Otherwise, I I am legitimately 99 percent happy with this item so far! And I am completely confident we’ll have this for the long road from reading others’ reviews about the durability of this product!.

This is the first set of pots and pans I’ve had that have been a color other than black or stainless steel. I always skipped over them before because it seemed like you were sacrificing quality for style, so I was nervous taking the plunge with these.

My fears were put to rest with this set. Not only are they contemporary and eye catching, but they get the job done. The nonstick is truly nonstick, which can be hit or miss depending on the brand. Everything I made was evenly cooked, no hot spots.

The handles are extremely comfortable to use and the lid handled are too. They feel heavy and sturdy, not thin or cheap. The kitchen utensils were a thoughtful bonus and they too felt quality. Highly recommend.

I literally have been trying this weekly for 3 months and it does not matter what setting I use, the eggs come out terribly undercooked or hard has rocks. I have tried EVERY setting! In addition, I have never had a worse time trying to remove the shells-even after plunging in ice water.

I was so determined to make this work, I have tried everthing and now its too late to return it. Maybe my unit is faulty, but I’m reluctant to try another bar and. Very disappointed.

I wish I’d bought this years ago! Eggs have always been difficult for me to time, because I couldn’t get the yolks thoroughly cooked without overdoing it. Or, each batch of hard-boiled eggs seemed to turn out differently.

Now, using a consistent size of eggs, my hard-boiled eggs are perfect. It’s such a joy to set the cooker, and just forget about them until it beeps. I’m looking forward to exploring soft-boiled now.

Within a week of owning the cooker the plate coating began to come off. The timer is so unreliable, I use my phone’s timer instead. Its hard to clean since plate is not removable (its too easy to get water inside the device).

It does cook eggs well but I’m planning to replace.

I opened the box and they didn’t smell like metal, the glass lids were sparkling and the stainless finish was like butter. I thought I’d miss the traditional long handles on the pots, but no. The pots nest well about the size of my large double boiler so they store on top of it in the cabinet, I’ve never had stackable pots before.

The bottom of the pans and pots is heavy and thick like the reviews say, and the finish is fine milled. The first thing I did was throw the whole set into the dishwasher. my dishwasher is a small apt size one but this set including the lids all fit in together nicely.

After the wash, I noticed still no metal smell like you get with store bought stainless pans. Then I poured some oil in the large fry pan and couldn’t believe it that the pan sat flat on my crooked conventional burner, the oil heated up and didn’t run all to one side and the pan sat solidly on the burner without rocking.

I seared two chicken breasts put the lid on and let them fry under the lid for another 6 minutes. Honestly the best stove top fryed chicken I’ve made, moist and fully cooked. With the fond stuck on the pan I made a bar-b-que sauce right there with the fond, and the stuck on fats just slurped right up into the sauce and it boiled down without burning the sugar.

hardly any stuck on fond after the sauce was done. Easy clean up, oils wash out easily. Cooks evenly, sits on the burner evenly. These pans are lighter than the heavy aluminum teflon pans I had that hurt my wrists to use.

These pans are about a third heavier than the Tramontia brand. So glad I was able to purchase this set. I’m gonna throw away all the old ones. Very happy. I would buy this again as a gift for someone.

I’m so impressed with this 10 piece stainless steel cookware set. It has a variety of features that make it better than other cookware I’ve used before. First of all, I like the fact that this is stainless steel.

There are too many sets out there that are non-stick, which in the short term may be okay, but are definitely not durable or safe in the long term. I would rather use some oil or butter to ensure food doesn’t stick rather than be potentially concerned about the non-stick coating.

This set allows for that and is a much more durable, safe and higher quality alternative to non-stick cookware. Secondly, the double thickness flat bottom makes it easy to use on any type of cooking stove.

I’ve had issues before with rounded bottoms which wobble on my flat cooking surface. That’s not a problem here and the double thickness wall allows for even heat distribution. All my meals have turned out great because of this feature.

Another small feature that I am very appreciative of is the stay cool handles. The rubber handles and grips allow the parts you touch to remain cool, even when you are cooking a hot meal. No more burns or “ouch” moments because you thought the handle would be cool.

Having used all the pieces of this set for a couple of weeks, I can definitely say this is one of the best cookware sets I’ve used. The various sizes allow you to make whatever portion sizes you need without having to compromise.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile, high quality cookware set. You will not only enjoy the elegance it provides to your kitchen, but also the wonderful functionality of it’s many features.

Compared to my other stainless steel pots and pans, I found these to be a lot more lightweight. However, this doesn’t mean they are not good quality. On the contrary, I found them to work better. It usually takes forever to bring water to a boil in my other stainless steel pot or even in my enameled one, but these pots conduct heat a lot better and it takes less time.

I always put the lid (do not completely cover the pot though) to help speed up the boiling process. This cookware set uses 18/10 Stainless Steel, which is one of the best types on the market. 18 and 10 represent the percentages of chromium and nickel alloys added to the stainless steel.

They improve the performance of thes products by protecting them from rust and preventing corrosion. They also provide even distribution of heat. The small sauce pan is perfect for cooking my morning soft boiled eggs or making a small portion of polenta.

I normally use non-stick cookware for polenta, but I found that the polenta did not stick to the pan at all and was, in fact, very easy to remove. I cooked some of my crispy chicken in the pan and that requires a lot of attention.

I failed to add more butter, so I burned the pan a bit. I wasn’t too worried, since I have done that in the past. After the pan cools down, I just add baking soda and vinegar and let it sit for a while.

After that, I add warm water and soap and let it soak. It is very easy to clean. I use a non-abrasive sponge and a mild detergent. I prefer to hand wash my stainless steel cookware, as opposed to using the dishwasher.

If you want to turn it into non-stick cookware, look it up. Using oil you can season it, and this would turn into a non-stick surface. This set has a good variety of sizes – perfect for cooking both small portions of food, or a big batch of soup.

The pan is big enough to cook 2-3 portions of meat or vegetables.

Bought the one with visual imperfections because the regular one was out of stock and was eager to get one. I went in knowing it wouldn’t be perfect. I expected perhaps some scratches and even a few small chips in the edge.

Buyer beware. Visual imperfections are actually physical imperfections which, in my case, make the knife unusable. 1. The edge was poorly set from factory. Meaning, the edge wouldn’t make full contact with the cutting board.

The result: cutting green onions, peppers and other veggies with thick skin was not possible. So I spent 2 hours reworking the edge on my whetstones. The edge is now usable but the uneven bevel will take many months of wear and sharpening before I can get a straight line on it.

2. The blade itself is not straight and curves slightly to the left. Not sure who to fix that one. I’ll attempt to bend it into shape but would hate to snap the steel. 3. The spine was poorly finished leaving a jagged edge where the blade meets the handle.

This flaw is ACCEPTABLE because it doesn’t impact its usability, but it’s worth mentioning. 4. Lastly, these liquidation pieces should mention that they are NON-REFUNDABLE. Prior to trying to fix this mess, I attempted to return the item at my cost of shipping only to find out that the sale is final.

You’re essentially buying flawed items blindfolded with no possibility of exchange. I paid $130 for a knife that should not have left the factory. Whether on liquidation or not. Whether from Germany or China.

After getting the 5. 5″ rocking santoku, which quickly became my favorite knife, I felt compelled to get the 7″ version. This is despite already having a Henckel’s classic santoku, which was previously our favorite knife.

I was able to find an amazing deal on this fine-edged version, though if the hollow-edged version had been available at the same range, I probably would have bought that one. The 7″ rocking santoku is very much a bigger sibling to the 5.

5″ version – everything about it is scaled up. The blade, as well as being longer, is taller and thicker. The knife itself is substantially heavier and the handle is bigger. The balance point is right at the bolster, so the pinch grip is really the best way to hold the knife.

Also, the rocking blade is really useful for fine chopping. Despite having a thinner blade than a similarly sized chef’s knife, the side to side stiffness feels similar due to the curved bolster. To be honest, I bought this knife expecting that the stickiness of the fine-edged blade wouldn’t be very different to the hollow-edged blade of the 5.

5″, but in my experience I have found that certain foods are more inclined to stick to it. Something to consider if you are weighing paying a little extra for the hollow-edged blade.

This is my first good knife! I mean, i’ve never actually paid good $ for a quality knife before. Some people may not consider $60 to be “good money” for a quality knife, but i do. It’s something i never would’ve considered doing, however, since i began watching Josh Cortis’ YouTube Channel, The Meal Prep Manual (who Zwilling sponsors), and trying my hand at some of his recipes, i realized it was taking me forever to prep.

To the point where i was breaking a sweat from dicing up a few pounds of cooked chicken. I messaged him and eventually came to the conclusion that i was using garbage knives. But i used a chef’s knife the most, so i thought i’d give this brand a try, since it seems to work for Josh.

It’s literally turned my culinary life upside down, in a good way! Prep is no longer a task that loathe. I look forward to it now, knowing that it’s so much easier when you have a knife that slices through any veggie or meat that i need to cut.

This slow cooker is the BEST! It cooks very evenly, is so easy to clean, and is lightweight and easy to handle. I really like that I can brown the meat in the oval pot on the stovetop and then move it to the slow cooker on the counter to add more ingredients and start the cooking.

No extra pot to clean! I highly recommend this slow cooker.

Once again Green Pan does not disappoint. The inside pot can be used on the stove top then back in the slow cooker. Easy cleanup. 3 settings of low, medium and high. And, this crockpot is so light to pick up.

Unfortunately, im disappointed. i was so excited to have a healthy solution and i do love that the insert is light and easy to clean. As far as cooking goes-its just ok. takes way long to soften vegetables even on high setting so not practical for me.

I bought a beautiful ikon creme knife set but the block the gave me is hideous. I don’t mind natural variety in wood but parts of it look like it came from different types of trees. I asked to exchange it for another color and provided photos of what was advertised versus what i received and they refused to do an exchange, and also said they couldn’t see a difference between the ad photos and what i received.

I wish i could add photos but am unable to here for some reason. I paid $800 bucks and they wouldn’t exchange it even though it was still wrapped and they had the other block color available on the website.

I think they have a lifetime guarantee on the knives but they dgaf if you are happy with the whole product. Will send this particular purchase right back where it came from.

The chefs knife on its own is a good knife for small hands, it’s well balanced and stays sharp. But it’s no replacement for the fully forged version. It doesn’t have the weight or control. Regarding the paring knife, it’s a lightweight knife and too small for my hands (I’m 6’5, big hands).

It feels like a small steak knife. Does stay sharp though. The sharpener drags the score down. Its taken chunks out of some of my knives with the honing side. The sharpening side works ok, but if you are buying for the sharpener I’d avoid.

Good value overall on deal for approx $130 at Myer. I’d not buy at full price.

I found this Zwilling Motion Fryer well just searching for a new frying pan with a lid. I was just looking basically for a 12-in but when I came across this 5 qt fryer I fell in love. I was hoping the pictures that I saw were a true representation of the pan.

When I got it and opened the box I was super excited and the pan met all my expectations. The size is perfect. The weight is just right and the non-stick surface is amazing. Very little oil if any needed at all.

Heats evenly throughout the bottom of the pan and it’s one of the easiest pans I’ve had as far as cleaning goes. Just a little warm soapy water is all you need. I highly recommend this fryer. I actually like it so much I am going to order a second one and give it as a gift.

I was looking for a pot that was taller than wide. This made it easier to carry, and perfect for making meals for two people. This is my first time for purchasing this brand. It seems well made with handles that are easy to grip.

Comes with a nice glass and metal lid so you can view what’s cooking, and it’s a non stick pot. You can’t use metal utensils in this but that’s not a problem. I have tried boiling corn on the cob, made a stew, pot of soup, and today making ham, potatoes and sauerkraut.

The taller more than wider size is perfect. I would buy this item again.

I’ve never made dumplings before, so was a bit unsure how this would go. Made my first batch tonight and they turned out GREAT! Directions were straightforward, easy to follow, and accurate. These are a bit time consuming and labor intensive (just under 2 hours from start to finish), but nothing is difficult to do, and there’s not really anything you can mess up as long as you follow the instructions).

End result was worth the effort, and there are enough extra parchment papers and extra agar agar powder to make several more batches. The steaming basket is good quality and made it a fun and Insta-worthy project.

My husband said, “I know I’m gonna like whatever you’re making, just because of the basket!” Now that I understand the method and process, I plan to try some other variations in the near future. Very happy with this purchase, will use again and again.

I bought this book for myself to get my recipes organized. I do not have any complaints with the book itself, the sleeves, or the recipe cards. The only thing I would change would be to beef up the pages that divide the book into sections.

The tabs are just cardstock, and are wearing quickly. I’m wondering if I can encase them in a plastic sleeve to extend the longevity. I would def buy again.

I love my recipe binder. After 32 years of marriage, I bought and started filling with family favorites. Now I don’t have to look through the multitude of cookbooks. I’m worried the Clearance status means soon these great gift ideas will be discontinued at Lakeside, so I’m buying sets for my three adult children.

I had ordered this in a different cover a few years back and it didn’t last long, the cover tore up. I still love this book, so easy to find my recipes and the plastic card holder sleeves have held up well.

Admittedly, I haven’t tried a wide variety of foods, but the few I have tried, most just did not work out. Yes, I would imagine most people would say it’s just easier to use the skillet. But for some reason I just love kitchen gadgets and with living alone, this just looked like an easy product to use and to clean and you don’t have to heat up the whole oven as with baking cookies.

I can tell you it does wipe up easily so that’s a positive. The negative part though was some of the foods I have tried that were juicy, when you flip the Five Minute Chef, juice or food product oozed out the sides.

That’s a negative. Cleaning it was another big negative. What a mess with all the goo going in all the crevices. I did read the bad reviews and saw YouTube reviews where making omelettes in the Five Minute Chef and the latch did not hold and egg went everywhere.

Now I’m leery of trying eggs because I don’t need a mess to clean up. This was one of the reasons I bought this kitchen gadget, so what a shame. The Five Minute Chef is compact which is a plus but at the same time it is a negative.

The cooking well is not even large enough to hold your standard sliced sandwich bread. I was hoping this would be a quick, easy way to make grilled cheese sandwiches. When I tried and closed the lid, some of the bread got chopped off.

Maybe the next time I make it, I might cut the crust off first but we shouldn’t have to do that. I thought it would be great for making one or two of the Nestlé‘s Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies that are already in that little square.

This did not work out either. I kept a close eye on it and the cookie would get dark on the outside and had that over done taste but the rest of the cookie was all extremely under done and gooey. So I tried it again with two more cookies and had the same results.

I tried it again with one cookie and same bad result even though this time I unplugged the unit so it would not have too much heat and over cook the cookies. I have made frozen french fries in it and that worked out well.

The downside though is that you get one very small portion of french fries. I would say the portion would be good for a child but certainly not for an adult. Maybe this is a great way for portion control! Maybe I haven’t tried the right foods and I will keep on experimenting with it since I now own this product and it’s too late to return it and hopefully I can finally put it to good use or maybe it will get donated.

Would I recommend it? No, I would not. I paid $40 for it and I am kicking myself now. I do see the price is now $10 less but even at $30 I still would not recommend it. I’m so glad to read that others have had luck with it and maybe with time, I will learn to like it.

As of right now though, it was a waste of money. Even with all the negatives I have said, I still like the idea of a product like this. The company really needs to tweak the product. Fix the issues and make it just a teensy bit bigger.

Large enough to hold a sandwich or to have room for a decent side dish and no more exploding eggs. Regarding the eggs though, I have heard that once you flip the Five Minute Chef/eggs then unlatch the latch and you should not have a problem with the exploding eggs.

But this little tidbit is not mentioned in the directions. Maybe I will give this a try if I feel brave enough. I love the red color though!.

I have been looking for something like this for years: easy to use, easy to clean, small, yet doing what it is intended to. There are enough great appliances for families, but there is next to nothing available for bachelors.

This comes close. In combination with a small 3-cup rice cooker, it is essentially all a bachelor needs. So far, I prepared chicken as well as eggs. Both came out beautifully with no fuss. Clean-up was a breeze and storing the device is easy enough because it is so small.

I would like to have more control over the temperature and an on/off-switch is most definitely also a desirable feature, but except for that, this thing covers the essentials. It is also just large enough for a single individual.

We are slowly redoing our kitchen and it was time for new utensils. Now, I’ve purchased many utensils and caddies in the past, but I absolutely love this one. The tools feels great in your hands and are very solid.

The silicone is seems sturdier than others I have purchased. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. No more black plastic utensils or silicone that splits after a few uses. 5⭐️.

I love them. I bought them to go with my new pots and pans. They are perfect fory non stick pans. They washed well in the dishwasher. They are sturdy. I am happy with my purchase.

I find this pan is of the best size and has most uses on my gas stove in home. I can cook all kinds of meals from breakfast to dinner, from frying eggs to making vegetable stews. Its size extend the use to deep frying and grilling.

I use it to grill burger meat, vegetables, asparagus. etc. Its size is good for deep frying mushrooms dipped in batter or frying a good batch of potatoe fries. I even make sandwiches using it, panini, grilled cheese, french toast.

Sometimes I pop it into oven and use it as bakeware. Its size is perfect for upside down cakes, deep dish pizza, corn bread or Dutch baby. This pan has good weight to preheat well and bake evenly on stovetop or in oven.

I can achieve good results of making pancakes, tortillas or naan just on stovetop with this pan preheated to the temperature to my liking. Oh its use is just endless. Best value one can get out of all kinds of cookware.

This site has an extensive set of gadgets one will ever need for his/her home kitchen use ( of course commercial too ). IMO, highly recommended as the first piece of cookware for anyone who wants to become a home chef.

Just a reminder : This pan comes well pre-seasoned but requires a bit of tendering after. The easiest way to keep it in best cooking condition is to clean out the debris under a running tap while it’s still warm then wiped dry or dried on a hot stovetop after cooking; wip the entire interior clean using a piece of lightly oiled paper towel when the pan is heated up before cooking.

That’s it and it’s quality is guaranteed to last one’s lifetime or generations. Best investment I made ever. Last but not least: If one gets tired of indoor cooking, the investment is preserved by taking it to other cooking occasions such as tailgate party, camping or just backyard.

Its ruggedness makes it a good piece of cookware regardless of gas, bed of hot coals or just barbecue grills.

I honestly don’t remember why I even wound up buying this 12 inch Lodge cast iron skillet. It might have been for the first time I tried following a recipe to make Southern-style fried chicken at home.

I ordered it from Amazon and I don’t remember the exact price but I think it was in the $30 range. I had never used cast iron before and quickly learned that it wasn’t automatically non-stick despite the fact that the company described it as “pre-seasoned”.

I’ve tried several different methods of seasoning it but to this day all of these years later I would never describe it as remotely close to “non-stick”. I’ve tried all sorts of ways to clean it including just wiping it out with paper towels, hand-washing with some dish soap, and I believe I even ran it through the dishwasher once.

Nothing has helped/hurt with the “seasoning” of the pan. There really doesn’t seem to be anything that sticks for very long. (no pun intended) Unless I am cooking a well-marbled steak I *always* add oil to this pan before putting anything else into it.

I didn’t have much use for this Lodge 12 Inch Cast Iron Skillet when I lived at the house and had regular access to a gas grill in the backyard. These days I am in an apartment so I use this skillet for pan-searing burgers, chicken breasts, steaks, pork chops, etc.

at high temperatures to get good color on them. I’ve done Southern-style corn bread in it along with a few other things. I like that this skillet is so durable. It will last forever and then some. The price is nice.

I’ve just had to learn to accept that I will never get a good seasoning layer in it and cooking eggs in it will have to remain a fantasy. I’m still very happy to have it in my kitchen repertoire, though.

Lodge brand in my opinion is horrible! I recently two weeks ago purchased a Lodge cast iron skillet for $25 bucks the 12 Inch and a Lodge cook pot for $50 bucks both are horrible to use. both stick with anything you cook.

I’ve tried lowering the heat to lo medium heat nothing changes. Ive tried making pancakes and all I get is stick stick stick! same with stir fry or pasta dishes. I’ve done some burgers they came out decent without alot of stick but constantly having to scrape the bottom of the skillet an clean is just a mess and not good on time.

The cleaning is horrible as well. you can barely use luke warm water an rinse and it rust rust rust! the metal is coming out the skillet already and only had for 2weeks!! If only I had kept the boxes this mess came in.

I will still try and do a return because I do have my receipt but most likely im out of $$$. Do yourself and your funds a favor shop around elsewhere. This brand is a joke!! The good reviews that are being posted on here must be employees or owners or some sort of payroll for this brand.

Im upset with myself for believing this brand was going to work and throwing the boxes away immediately. Im even more upset because I throwed away all my grandmother pots and pans and skillets from the 80’s some even the 70’s!! things just aint what they use to be.

I have used this cookware numerous times now and I have nothing but great things to say about it. It is very well built and will last a long time. It is dishwasher safe. You can cook with it on any kind of stove.

I have a natural gas stove but you can also use: ceramic, electric or induction. This cookware has premium grade stainless steel interior and also a refined aluminum core for even heat distribution. Also, the magnetic stainless steel bottom is designed compatible to induction stovetop.

All in all this is great cookware and would definitely recommend it to my friends. Thanks.

So much cookware is really overpriced for what you get and it was stainless steel it really is or quite similar. I have stopped using nonstick because too many times the nonstick coating started to come off in my food and that’s dangerous, so we are switching to stainless steel.

We are also switching to stainless steel because we are getting an an induction cooktop and stainless steel is really good for that type of stove. This cookware works great. It looks nice it’s well-made the quality is high and it does just go to job as a super expensive set of cookware.

I would say don’t waste money on overpriced cookware Cookware, the stuff is great.

This set has most everything you need to start your kitchen. I prefer stainless sometimes when cooking over non-stick when I want to get a good crisp on items. Another plus is they work with induction cooktops so it’s easy for outdoor cooking without lugging a large setup outside.

Metal seems to be good quality and thickness. Should last a long time. The steamer attachment is also great, mates to the pots perfectly and better than most aftermarket steamers.

Faith! Thats what Im talking about here. So everyone and their brother were saying how Lodge was the best. and I decided to believe them. so I ordered up a 15 inch cast iron ( cue the words cast iron rhodinium where mr.

spock is saying it) to see if it was all the jazz that everyone was barking on about. well, the first thing you see without seeing it is the sheen. Without sheen nothing is nothing. then you see the solidness of it.

solidness counts a lot. then you pick it up and see it weighs 11. 5 pounds and youre pretty sure youre onto something. then you let it stand next to your half-drunk roommate who splatters cooking oil on it.

And then you wipe some extra virgin olive oil on it, just to be sure that it was not water your roommate sprinkled on it and then YOU LET IT RIP AND YOU TOSS IT INTO THE OVEN AT 425 DEGREES AND HURL A VEGETARIAN HEAVY BURGER INTO IT! and then you realize that that is not how you normally cook vegetarian burgers because youve had a few yourself, I mean what else is a Sunday with all the people and kids over for? so then you quickly look up can you broil using a Lodge cast iron and then answer comes back, the hierarchy approves! so you quickly turn the dial to broil and there is much rejoicing! and you watch as the hunk of vegetarian matter starts to broil without the cast iron melting in the ovens of Moltar.

yep, faith, thats what Im talking about. its my first day with my Lodge 15 inch cast iron, but like a good horse, I think we are going to become lifelong friends. my vegetarian hunk of meat is almost done, so I will bid you a fond farewell in the faith that I will be eating my Lodge 15 inch cast iron cooked meal to perfection soon.

I have not seen anything like that since the 40s Randolph Scott and John Wayne movies! Run out, do not walk and buy one! I got mine for 60 American dollars!.

Excellent product – perfect present for son turning 50

The design and materials used for the items feels and looks top notch. They’re lightweight, perfect for hiking. Though they feel a little flimsy – for me at least. I wish they were a bit sturdier. It’s perfect for soup, stew, rice & pasta based meals.

Anything denser – ie. a thick cut of meat – can cause issues. Not sure about it’s durability as I’ve only used them twice – a potential weak point is the lock design when extended – unsure if that will last the test of time – but so far so good.

Clever idea, great price, but disappointing quality. Our expected durability for the utensil set is low. Getting the spoon or fork extension to click into and securely fit the handle is challenging and inconsistent between the two sets we purchased.

Use-wise, do not expect to lift anything heavy, like loaded chili, with the spoon or fork, we have not had success with the two-piece utensil staying locked-in, the ends falls off.

Add these Utensil Kit to your accessory list for JetBoil items as well as just everyday good cooking utensils. Sturdy, no folding but rather, they slide up, and super easy to wash by hand or put in dishwasher with low heat drying.

You can go ahead and ditch non-reusable utensils as this is the way to go!.

Really enjoying this pan set. Originally went with the 13- piece but I’m glad I went with this one. The main difference between the two is, the 13 comes with a strainer for the stock pot, and the 11 comes with a steamer.

I chose the steamer since I have 3 strainers from previous purchases. All around they are pretty much the same. I love the set. A tip I would love to share in terms of using and cleaning. I would recommend you always butter or olive oil before use just to make clean easier.

Also, for cleaning use vinegar to bring that beautiful stainless steel shine back. I promise it won’t disappoint. My husband always questioned why I buy vinegar but it has so many uses in the house (laundry, cleaning catch pans, cleaning in general, floors).

Anywho, i used it and bang, shine right back it was gorgeous and you don’t need a lot at all. I would definitely recommend and I would absolutely buy again. Make sure to register your product on the warranty card.

It doesn’t cost anything to do this and this company stands by their products. I hope my review helped. I chose the 11- piece mainly because I didn’t absolutely need the 13- piece, it was a little more expensive, I already had a strained, and I didn’t need the extra 2 pieces ( I think the second piece was an additional cover ).

We bought this cookware primarily because it did NOT have any special nonstick coatings. In addition to learning to use this new cookware, we are learning to use a convection stove top. So both of these new products have presented challenges.

We bought the cookware because I’d had and used another brand of Stainless-Steel cookware for years. We had heard this was good cookware for the price. We have not been disappointed. Within the first few weeks of using the cookware, we were having difficulty getting used to the new stove as well and we tended to turn up the heat higher than necessary.

In doing this one time we inadvertently scorched one of the pans. It was black on the bottom, we thought we had ruined it. I put a good amount of dishwashing liquid in the pan and filled it with water.

To this I added a good amount of white vinegar and placed the pan back on the burner with heat. After the mixture boiled, I emptied the pan and wiped out much of the scorch, but some remained. I repeated the process and eventually all of the scorch residue was removed.

I was amazed that pan came clean! But it did. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for quality Stainless Steel Cookware. The product is easy to use and looks good in use. The cookware is priced affordably and is welll made.

When I was looking for pots and pans, lots of things were important to me. Stainless steel, high quality, durable, reliable, well constructed pots and pans were the necessity. Having moved out, with no help from my family, I could only afford to buy one set.

These pots and pans were worth every penny. They heat up quick – don’t put your pans on high, or even MD high unless you’re planning on searing a steak. They heat up evenly as well, and you can trust that these pots and pans will cook everything to perfection.

The steel is highly resilient, but I’d caution against letting them sit wet – no soaking! Wash after each use until spotless. I’d recommend hand-wash, but the dishwasher I have from the 80’s takes great care of them too.

As I said, don’t let them sit wet. I had 1 rust spot show up once, because I accidently left it in the sink. The steel is overall very high quality, but don’t expect it to stay that beautiful, out of the box flawlessly shiny forever.

The lids being glass is awesome, I love being able to see everything cook. The handles on the lids can get quite hot though if you’ve been cooking with them for a while, so be careful of that. However, the handles on the pans ALWAYS STAY COOL.

It’s fantastic! There are lids that fit every pan and pot, although not each pan and pot has their own, designated lid. (I’ve never had an issue where I haven’t had a lid I needed for a pan or pot because they were all dirty, FYI).

These pans are sleek, sharp looking and well designed. They look great on my stove, or even stacked and put away. They provide every size I could desire, and are well weighted. They feel great on my hands, flipping pancakes, sauteing vegetables, or anything else you might do with them.

They are heavy, but well balanced. In short, if you’re looking for a set of pots and pans that cook like your moms, handle like your moms, and look like your moms, as well as last a lifetime. These are your pans.
