I bought 4 of these because they were on deal thru Brad’s Deals. The products are fine and you will be happy with them. I bought these to keep my dog from eating my vegetables. I built them by myself.

I am being nit picky because the construction and instructions are not that good. First the construction – when putting the long sides to attach to the shorter ends, there are long screws that are supposed to intersect with a nut that you put in the wood for tightening.

I made 4 of these beds, so out of 16 attempts, I was able to do it 8 times. It’s not like an IKEA product where the screw meet the nut and you twist the nut to “grab it”. You have to screw the screw into the nut and well if the nut isn’t sitting right then you are kind of screwed (no pun intended).

I fixed this by drilling some ling screws I had into the unit. Works just as well if not better. On the instructions, it suggests that if you are adding all of the bottom slats, you do them all at once then attach the other small side end.

If you are doing this by yourself, this will be a challenge as any slight move will move the long sides a part, and the slats will fall out of the tracks. After building my second one, I realized it was easier to add one of the bottom braces to keep the long sides aligned (instructions tell you to do this in a later step).

Overall, these are fine products. I bought 4 and will likely buy 2 more.

I purchased two of these in spring of 2020, assembled them, and filled them with loam. We got two seasons of vegetables from them, but by the middle of 2021 they started to come apart. The problem is a poor design, given the thickness of the Cedar wood used.

They use a mortise and tenon design to attach the walls. The wood is a soft cedar, and the tenons are short and thin. There’s now way that this design, with this grade of wood, was going to hold up. I spoke with BCP Prod Spt, who found my order, but said that it was purchased over a year ago, so it’s no longer under warranty.

I’m disappointed and would not purchase this product again, unless they changed the design and thickness of the Cedar. I’m going to have to reinforce the bed using exterior pieces of lumber.

I bought four of these in 2018. Year five, two have failed and two are just fine. One can be refurbished but the other is too rotten. I did NO maintenance. I now know you should do some yearly inspection/maintenance.

Be sure the posts are not sitting in wet soil. Check for good drainage; the black fabric protectors tend to hold water and the bottom will rot. Inspect the corners posts; they may start to separate. Watch out for any infestation of ANTS! Just installed three “double wides” and I will be keeping a close eye on these!!.

I bought two sets of these thinking they were going to last, but three out of the four fell apart after only two seasons. The wood rotted and crumbled on the ends of the long sides. There is no way to repair them, so they have to go into the trash.

No large plants with big roots were ever in them to cause this kind of product failure. A little online research revealed that this wood is light and soft. We’re going to rebuild with cement blocks. These are a total waste of money.

Don’t be fooled by the ad copy stating that the Chinese fir wood will last, it will not! This junk deserves MINUS 5 stars.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. It’s a piece of crap, not worth the money! The pieces were dovetail cut joints which were made so poorly, different size pieces which didn’t fit together … just junk! When I contacted the company, they didn’t care that that the pieces were so poorly made, they agreed to just send another unit.

My question is this… why produce a worthless product that you send out and when called on it, just tell the consumers that “…it doesn’t matter since we’ll replace it …. ” Yeah, great business model. Horrible products, worthless company!.

We ordered two of these last year and we’re very pleased. We ordered two more and we were very disappointed! These last two were not made well and fell apart when trying to assemble. (See photos below).

Instead of one plank per side there were two. The dovetail corners were not the right size. I would have returned immediately but I had taken them out of the box and felt it was too much trouble. My husband has to nail the corners together.

I am disappointed to say the least!.

Really easy to assemble and quite attractive. I don’t intend to ever take these apart, so I glued all the joints during assembly. That took all of the movement out of the finished planterand they are quite sturdy.

I will be waterproofing them with a plant friendly oil so they should last for quite a while. They are big enough so two of them is enough for everything I need to grow right on my patio. Well worth the money.

If you are looking for a high-quality raised bed, go elsewhere. This support pieces began shredding as I was sliding the side panels inside them. Because of this, none of the sides are flush and the box is very rickety.

Additionally, the side panels are extremely thin and will not hold up more than one year. I have contacted support but their response was inadequate. The bed is already put together with dirt in it so, to disadisassemble it would be an extremely large project.

I regret purchasing it and urge others to beware.

I have had 2 Root & Veg boxes for 1 year. I now wish I had gotten a regular earthbox instead because I have had much more success with them. I plant according to the EarthBox Planting Charts. I add water every day (twice in summer) until drainage hole overflows.

The root & veg boxes almost immediately overflow (this is very different from the standard earthbox). Like many others, I was sorely disappointed that this heavy box does not come with wheels. Last summer I planted a squash and zucchini in each of them.

The plants did well, looked healthy and grew to flowering size. Over the fall and winter (yes, it’s warm enough that I can grow in wither), I planted beets, radishes and carrots in one box. These plants never became more than greens.

The carrots barely grew beyond the tiniest seedlings. We harvested 1 radish from the box and ate all of the greens at the end of the season. In the other box we planted cilantro, chard and a collard plant.

The healthy beautiful cilantro died a few weeks after being transplanted to the root & veg box, the chard never grew and 1 plant died, but the collard did well giving us both greens and inflorescences that we ate like broccoli.

I transplanted several lettuce and cilantro plants to the box in the spring. The cilantro rapidly died, the red lettuce flattened out and the romaine remained upright. I planted one of each of these plants in a self-watering hanging basket (bowl), and the plants in the basket are thriving and doubling in size as compared with their siblings banished to the root & veg box.

I highly recommend checking the grates between seasons. I neglected to do this and now that my spring plants are failing, I wish I had. Something about this box is killing my plants. I’m just not sure what it is yet.

I wish there was white in other box sizes. I bought 5 white Root and Veg boxes because of the color, have only plated one so far. The original boxes I started with absorb the summer heat here in Southern New Mexico.

I’m hoping the white color will help keep them cooler. The deepness of the boxes is wasted on what I want to grow but there are no white original or junior boxes. But I love the Earthboxes so I’ll take oversized in order to not have to water everyday in our heat.

I just planted my vegetables so I am not giving it a 5 star rating because I have not harvested any fruit yet. I planted my tomato plants, which I usually plant in the ground. I am excited to see them produce a lot more fruit since all the nutrients are in this box.

I have previously used the original EarthBox and I love them. I now have 3 original and 5 root and vegetable – hope to have my best harvest yet! I love the way this box looks as well but I must say that it is much thinner and lighter than the original.

It feels like it could be blown away by strong winds. I do love the covers – OMG! these fit perfectly snug unlike the ones in the original EarthBox. Thank you for making vegetable growing so easy and neat!.

This garden bed is the perfect height. Easy to put together and i stained it with a water resistant stain protector. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. ( I have three) and I’d love to have four, the wheels are so convenient for moving them from excessive sunlight.

We even rolled them into my house when we had two weather advisories and back out after the severe storms. They also shipped extremely fast. Only had one problem putting the three together and it was one bolt that held the lower shelf in place was not threaded but a trip to Lowes fixed that.

They’re deep enough so my peppers and herbs are doing great. Again I love the mobility !.

Junk! almost every piece of the wooden slats had cracks. The screw holes did not line up for the slats either. And I purchased two of these sub-par raised garden beds. I had to glue several piece that were cracked.

The pine was so dry that it would immediately crack when assembling. I had to use a bar of soap to lubricate the screws. So the instructions say 20 minute assembly time. In the real world it took 4 hours for one and 2.

5 hours for the second one. They will not last. My wife will be lucky to get one growing season out of these. Also, I put on two coats of boiled linseed oil to try and preserve and increase the longevity of this kindling wood.

Didn’t give this product a 5, because one of the legs were machined incorrectly – 4-star. However, their service/support team that I talked to, provided me a replacement after a quick chat with them, which I would give a 5-star.

The instruction pamphlet was given a 5-star. I was able to identify all the parts and follow the pictures in each step. I also decided to oil all the pieces before assembling the entire bed. Once assembled, all the pieces fit well, but be careful with the existing drilled holes.

I re-drilled the holes with a drill-bit that was aligned to the corresponding screw, because of other reviews of the wood splitting. Overall, I would give the Mobile Raised Garden Bed product 4. 5-star (just need to get a little better quality control on the machining of the parts.

So far these beds are great. I bought one 4x4x1. 5 bed and one 6x3x2 to see which would work better. I liked the taller beds but was afraid they wouldn’t be sturdy enough in the middle. Putting the bigger bed together it feels wobbly and the small metal bars in the middle to keep it from bowing out are very flimsy and bent themselves already.

I haven’t filled that one with dirt yet. Will update when that’s done. Maybe it will surprise me. The 4×4 beds though are fantastic so far. Sturdy, easy to put together though tedious. One bed wouldn’t have been an issue but I ended up buying a total of 8 of them and so my fingers are slightly sore from turning all the wing nuts.

They look good. Out of all the beds and over 480 wingnuts and screws, I was only one wingnut short. About half of them are filled with dirt and they seem to be holding up well. Great price value too.

I looked around for a few quotes from lumber stores for building wooden raised beds. For the same square footage of growing area, it was cheaper to go with the metal beds, which should last decades compared to the wood which needs to be replaced every 3-5 years My one complaint overall is that they are shipped using sooooo much plastic.

It’s tedious to peel off each panel. I’d love to see them find a better way to ship them. They do have a note in the instruction packet to ‘please dispose of all of the packaging responsibly’ or something similarly worded.

They did ship to my house in a reasonable time. Not the two days promised on the website advertising but it only took about a week. One concern is the prop 95 warning for ‘materials know to the state of California to cause cancer’ and I’m not quite sure what that’s about? There is no guideline for that prop to require amount of material or list what exactly it is.

And I couldn’t find anything on the bcp website about it.

Bought this because it was one of the taller beds I could find and I live in an area with Bermuda grass. Instructions said assembly takes about 45 minutes but this is most definitely not the case; there are so many screws! Each bed by myself took about 3 hours.

It also scratches very easily, if looks matter to you. The real issue for me though is the metal; the top and bottom edges are folded, ostensibly for safety, but the sides are not; I gashed my hands on every bed I was assembling (wasn’t wearing gloves at all times because I needed the dexterity to fit all the screws and remove the plastic film).

I have the opposite of whatever a green thumb is, and I’ve *never* gotten anything to grow from a seed into an actual living plant, but this indoor garden has definitely changed that! Once unpacked the setup takes just a few minutes, and the process is very well documented in the directions.

I had to wait roughly a week for anything to visibly happen (which, biology. ) but now I’ve got basil, mint, and thyme shoots already peeking up and a few other varieties coming in the next week or two! Some plants sprout after just a few days, others take a couple weeks.

The machine literally runs itself, and even gives you reminders when you need to refill the included plant food or the (not-included) water. Lights run on auto-pilot, as does the watering/feeding. It’s a bit early for me to harvest anything yet, but so far so good, and with almost zero effort on my part! Highly recommended for anyone with limited gardening ability or limited outdoor space to grow a nice herb garden! Oh, with different seed kits from Aerogarden you can also grow things like tomatoes and peppers if you’re so inclined.

It looks like this device will accept any of the seed kits on their website, so if I ever want to try something new I’ve got options.

I do a lot of flower gardening in the spring, but this year I had some dormant lily bulbs starting to sprout. Since I had spare soil and a pot (and I can’t kill lilies even if I try), I went ahead and started in, only to find two of my regular gardening tools had been left out and were rusted in the snow.

They were old anyway–I had inherited a lot of old tools with the house. So I just kind of tossed the lilies back in the bag and waited for the new tools. My hands just can’t take cold dirt, so I decided I really needed new tools.

I ordered these since the shipping would be quick according to walmart. com. I’m pleased that it showed up so quickly, and the materials are better than I had expected. The holder it comes with is very useful and made of good-quality material.

This had everything I needed, and I even tossed a couple old pieces I didnt need anymore once I had this. I love the cutters–I may actually try to graft some of my roses this year with these. I usually have trouble with fine manipulation because my hands get weak, but this set is easier to use than my others.

Pruning the roses will certainly be easier now!.

Great little gift for my sister who loves to garden. The mug sadly doesn’t double up as a watering can but does work well for tea and coffee. The gardeing tools have come in handy for our little garden bed too!.

The mug is a great size for coffee drinkers or soup lovers. Quality is excellent. The one pictured for this review is not the one I purchased. We got Garden Gangster and it was on a sage green mug that matched the gloves.

Tools were especially cute and perfect for someone who has indoor plants.

This item is awful. The quality is so bad. The picture on the mug is totally blurry and it came with several chips. I am so disappointed and I do not recommend buying this.

I bought the mug with the garden tools for my daughter in laws birthday. It looks just like the picture. It’s a really nice gift. She is an avid gardener and I know she’s going to love it!

Wow! What a great set! I’m in love with it! The two different types of shears are great for all of my clipping needs and having gloves now keeps my hands from getting splintered. I never knew that pampus grass gave you splinters! The kneeling pad is so important and it keeps me gardening for twice as long as I was gardening before.

I love the two different rakes and the different small digging tools, especially the one that has inches marked off inches marked off so you know how deep to plant your bulbs and/or your plants. It comes with a nice bag to hold everything in and amazing gloves.

The right hand gloves has digging claws on it. Just a fun, wonderful, necessary bunch of tools to work your garden with.

Disappointed. The bag does not stand. Theres no insert for the bag to stand flat. The only way it will not fall over is if you put all the gardening tools inside. Which defeats the purpose of this garden bag, since all the tools are suppose to go around the bag.

Additionally, the bag does not close from the top. Theres no button, zipper or magnet to keep it shut. So each time the bag falls over all the items from inside the bag fall out.

I could not contain my excitement with this garden tools that I ordered. The set came nicely packed. I am certain it’s brand new and not refurbished. The price for the set is a great value, rather than buying the pieces individually.

The set has all you need to brandish a nice lovely garden. The bag it came with gets you organized and provides ease with storage. The tools, bag and apron seem well made and durable. I am sure with proper care, this will last me a long time.

I researched many raised bed options and chose this raised garden bed because of the unique hexagon shape, board height and high quality materials. I trust Gardener’s Supply to always provide an outstanding product and service.

I purchased 4 beds and stained the cedar boards with two coats of the Gardener’s Supply Exterior Wood Stain in Lakeside Cedar prior to assembly. It took approximately 1. 5 quarts of the stain to generously apply two coats.

I assembled the beds indoors on a flat service and then easily carried the beds to their final location. I prepared the location as directed by removing sod and disrupting soil down about 6 inches and purchased 21 cubic feet of raised garden soil mix from a local supplier.

I also installed a cypress mulch barrier to help provide some margin to the sodded area. I am very pleased with the finished product and look forward to planting native milkweed and nectar perennials.

I am already planning to add a Gardener’s Supply deep-root raised bed in the near future.

I bought three of these in the spring for my front yard to attract pollinators. (My neighbor is getting beehives. ) I followed the planting suggestions included with the beds. They look fabulous, and the plants are loving them, too, not just the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

This was an order for 3 more beds, to extend the line in a gentle S-curve around the front lawn to distract from the very prominent septic system. I’ll be able to divide many of the plants in the existing beds in the fall, to start these new beds.

These raised beds were easy to assemble. The metal corners hold the bed really well even if you dont use the screws. I used the raised beds in different locations and for different purposes. Two were used to hold vegetables- i needed small beds for beets and brussel sprouts.

Another was pulled into a more decorative use as i am planting some annuals in a corner of my back yard. I like their versatility. They hold about 4. 5 cubic feet of dirt.

This is my 3rd 10-panel Modular Raised Garden Bed. I purchased 17′ high and 30″ high MRGBs last year to attempt to grow better vegetables, since I was not having much luck going straight into the ground over 3 separate seasons.

The Good: great results with onions, radishes, basil, Greek oregano, sage, Italian parsley, curly parsley, and, surprisingly, iceberg lettuce (who knew?). Attempts at 2 different tomato and 3 different pepper varieties were not a successful, but close enough to make me try again with corrections.

The Bad: anxious to get going, instead of looking for advice, I completely filled the first beds with “clean” soil, mixing commercial raised bed soil into the top 6″. This worked well for the shallow-rooted herbs & veggies, but the deep-rooted types struggled from poor drainage.

The Ugly: bugs ate my Brussels sprouts leaves before the stalks even produced buds! When the new unit came, I filled it 2/3 with branch trimmings, then leaves, then a mixture of 2/3 native and 1/3 raised bed soils.

I also used the same scheme to replace the soil in the original MRGBs — work I could have spared myself if I read and followed the directions! I also installed a drip system on a timer for each MRGB.

I’m expecting much better yields this time around. BTW, unless you have a helper or an extra arm and an 8-foot reach, DOUBLE the suggested assembly times. I had a few more bolts/nuts with damaged threads (5-6) than the included extras covered (3-4).

I’ve been a Michigan organic gardener, Master Gardener, canner and excellent cook for many years. I used the Vego 6-in-one extra tall single raised bed this past season for growing Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Radish, then Parsley, Eggplant and Peppers and had my most successful harvest EVER with each.

Two of us assembled the Vego with excellent instructions and holes that lined up. I followed the fill-directions for this waist-high bed, and decided to put a half-can of sardines into the bottom of each planting hole.

I honestly don’t think my success was the sardines (though I’ll do that again). I have NEVER been able to raise Cauliflower in the ground, so I think the warmed soil in the Vego Bed made the difference.

And although I have been able to raise Eggplant in the ground, in my new Vego Bed this year the two Eggplants grew large with a greater abundance of Japanese-style Eggplant then I’ve ever been able to harvest from ground plants.

They kept yielding fruit until October 18! I was also pleased to be able to succession-plant with early cool-season crops like Broc, Cauli, and Radish doing well and then after pulling those plants and being able to re-plant my own seed-raised Eggplant and Peppers.

The Vego Bed is sturdy and nice looking along our west-facing garage wall. We already bought a second bed for next season.

As far as I am aware, nothing has changed in the manufacturing process with the beds. I’m sorry some of the stick-on wrap was missing from some of the panels. Luckily, it appears that any scratching of the paint is where the panels overlap and hopefully you were able to hide most of those.

I would like to offer a partial refund as we would love for issues like this not to happen. Please let me know if there are any other concerns or questions. I will also be sure to pass this on to the manufacturing team so hopefully this doesn’t happen in the future.

On a purchase of over $170 they gave me $18 in refund. I have damaged goods. Who pays $170 for a small round garden bed that is damaged? 10% is a sale price, not the price of a badly manufactured product.

I am a 3 time repeat customer, but between delays, not fulfilling promises, and even their own admission of too many issues to keep up with…I am totally going to have to check out Birdies Beds or Other companies.

I can get 15% off for writing this review, but only 10% off for a damaged product. If they want me to cover up their damage, what else are they covering up?.

I absolutely love these pots because I am a real Wrendale lover. The pots are so detailed like everything else by Wrendale. Every item not only has gorgeous animals on the outside but when you lift a lid there are more hidden treasures.

My collection just keeps growing. when I can afford them!.

This herb pot set is even better than I expected. I love the Wrendale designs. It is so pretty and very good quality. It will look lovely on my window sill! I am delighted with it.

Though I have a contemporary kitchen this trio of herb pots still looks perfectly at home on my windowsill and I have the added security of the oval drip tray so I know it won’t cause any damage if I overwater my herbs.

Can’t wait for Spring to have my homegrown herbs to hand while I’m cooking.

After much deliberation, I was able to purchase the Bounty model on sale and I’m glad I did! If you have the room and you only plan on having one garden (for now – you will want more after having one!) then I definitely recommend the “Bounty”.

My mom had an older version of the Harvest for a while (lost it in a flood) and really enjoyed it; but always wanted one that went taller. I was originally looking for a smaller one to put on the kitchen counter due to limited counter space, but the productivity of the larger one coupled with the ability to grow taller & larger plants made me seriously start considering the Bounty.

After calling customer service (they were great btw), my decision was solidified. Two things led to this; 1) the LED lights on the harvest are NOT replaceable, whereas on the Bounty they are. 2) The pump cycle is not adjustable on the Harvest and smaller models, but it is on the Bounty and larger models.

Now, many people have mentioned how bright the lights are (which is a good thing for the plants) but I thought I could still keep it on an end table in the living room and use it for a lamp. WRONG! My wife wasn’t having any part of that, lol.

It’s not really the brightness that is the problem, it’s that the “color” of the lights is harsh on your eyes. So now it resides in the spare bedroom. In conclusion, I’m very glad I went with the Bounty, and I’m very happy with it so far.

My 4 year old loves “checking on the garden” and can’t wait for his tomatoes to come in! It’s a great tool to teach him about gardening and how plants grow (roots, light, water, etc. ) I bought the “Salsa Garden” kit to start with, and it is doing great! The seeds all germinated ahead of schedule, and have visible growth every day! PS – My unit arrived in perfect condition.

I read many reviews of them arriving with damaged screens, but mine did not have any issues. I think a lot of bad reviews on the pods come from people who do not read the instructions/follow directions, use improper water (FYI – my municipal tap water is working fine), don’t prune, or don’t manually pollinate.

I bought this for my husband who is studying aquaponics. We have both been thrilled A to Z in receiving and setting up the garden. It is the bigger of the various versions. It contains seed pods for herbs, plant food, caps, lighting and mini computer to track growing.

The instructions are easy – the pods are pre-prepared for you. Just, add distilled water, plant food and set the computer timer. The garden does not take up a lot of space – it fits perfectly on a table anywhere.

In 7 days, most of the herbs had sprouted. Day 23 we were already pruning basil and dill for use. Now that it is winter, dark and cold outside, we have giggled watching the sprouts come alive.

I love my new deer proof raised garden bed. We got the 8×12 and there’s plenty of room for our family of 4 to plant 8 tomato plants, peas, strawberries, lettuce, 3 peppers, carrots, radishes, and herbs.

With room left over. We had our lawnmowers build it for us and they completed it in one day which included clearing the grass, putting down chicken wire, landscaping cloth and gravel first. We filled the beds with a layer of gravel before filling with soil/compost/peat moss mix.

We also replaced the plastic hinges as other reviewers mentioned. My one complaint is the irrigation kit. That should be clearly labeled to indicate to drill holes before filling the bed. The irrigation kit is plastic and a piece broke while installing.

Hoping it will work with our fix of glue/silicone. But disappointed with the irrigation kit for the extra cost.

Received all five boxes over an eleven day period. Came FedEx ground, driver needed help with three of the five boxes as they were quite heavy. Once I got all five, I had a landscaper come out and level the area.

All pieces were verified and accounted for, with a few extra pieces. Applied Thompson’s Water Seal with roller and brush to all pieces and let dry for a week. Assembly took about three hours with two drills and three people.

The ground MUST be perfectly level! Plenty of leftover hardware. One lower facing piece was split by pre-assembly at factory. Not a big deal, adds a bit of character. After assembly, I lined the inside where all the dirt would contact with mulch film to further extend the life of the cedar by preventing rotting from the inside.

I used scissors to size and a staple gun to apply the mulch film. Lined the planting and walk-in area with rock for drainage. Had three cubic yards of dirt delivered for the garden bed (used every bit) and had to fill using multiple trips with a gorilla cart.

This part was grueling as it had to be loaded/unloaded by hand (shovel). There is not an easier way unless you don’t install the deer fence prior to fill. Either way, you need to have a way of getting the dirt over the raised sides.

Planted vegetables near Mother’s day and all is growing well! I plan to re-apply the water seal each spring before planting season, probably with a sprayer. Very happy with the raised garden bed and recommend for anyone thinking about getting one.

We’re pleased with the quality of the components, packaging, and assembly instructions. The delivery person didn’t love the weight of the 3 boxes (and they *are* heavy), but things arrived intact and undamaged thanks to efficient packaging.

Individual panels were well made and everything went together in about 4 hours. Please note, though, that I have a lot of experience with this sort of project. Note also that it would have been difficult for me to replicate this raised bed on my own/with my own materials for this price (including my labor costs) and thus was worth the expense.

An extra pair of hands might be useful for some folks, but I found that Quick-Grip style clamps held things together just fine for assembly on my own. The directions do not include information about the importance of squaring everything up before installing final braces, so be aware of this detail before trying to install the gate at the end.

Trous du morceau de bois pas assez ajustés aux outils qui ne sont donc pas maintenus correctement. Enfin outils bien fins, ne semblent pas très solides, à voir à l’usage. Résultat pour le prix.

De plus sur la photo on aperçoit une petite plaque métallique qui faisait le charme de ce socle. Et bien je n’en ai pas. Juste du bois. Heureusement que le prix est abordable !.
