20 Best Gifts For Exchange Party (2023 Updated)

This item is so small, looks like a dollar store item. The little picture wheels are going to get lost so fast, they are about the size of a quarter. It does project pictures on the wall, but not as big or colorful as advertised.

Too expensive to send back, very disappointing. I can’t give this as a gift, to cheap looking.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a 4 year old. I want it known that this is small. About 4 inches long, and the slides are about 1. 5 – 2 inches across. The package states that the display on the wall can be up to 39 inches across.

I am skeptical, however won’t know until after Christmas. In addition, I was hoping for actual photos of planets on this set, some are space related but not the solar system, even including an astronaut.

We will see how my grandson feels, I also purchased the insect one. There appear to be fairly detailed insect pictures on that set. I was disappointed in the size. So my “yes” recommendation comes with this warning.

While the size measurement is 0-S, I am disappointed with the product size. It is not nearly representative of the picture. By the time I pay for postage, I would have lost all my money via the cost to refund the product.

It says age 3 and up!!! My grandson loves dinosaurs but this is a disappointment!.

This Polaroid Camera from World Smallest is pretty realistic for a miniature. Though it doesn’t take pictures it does make sound has simulated film! It comes on a clip so you can attach it to things.

Pretty cool! The kiddo is going to love it!.

I bought this so I wouldn’t lose my keys and it is so much more. The faux camera is rather large, but that’s good. If you push a button the “film” comes out. It’s cute. I think very over-priced, but I’m not a collector of keychains.

This was the best thing I’ve ever bought. Simple minds=simple pleasures. I cannot describe the giddy, childlike joy, when I pretend to take pictures of people with it. It makes everyone laugh. Seriously get it.

My older girls were excited to get this as they really like piñatas and they like toys that give “surprises. ” They also like small toys with little accessories as well as purses. This is a wonderful combination of all the things they like.

It was confusing for them to open as the tape was invisible. However, once the tape was off, they popped it open easily. There was minimal mess and there was not a ton of confetti to clean up. They had fun opening the surprise bags and sorting out all the little accessories.

They were not interested in reading the instructions (they are 6 and 7) so that is where I had to clarify a few things. However, they were able to figure out almost everything and had fun figuring out where everything goes.

There are two dolls and enough bags and accessories to keep two kids occupied and happy without fighting over stuff. This is a perfect gift for twins or two kids close in age like mine. The only problem is that some of the accessories are very tiny and kids tend to leave these behind.

I found a few items on the floor after they put the flamingo away, so there is a high probability that some of the accessories will be lost. Therefore, if you have toddlers, this toy should be played in an area where the toddler can’t access.

Overall, this is a nice toy and would make a great gift.

This Polly Pocket set is eye-catching and full of surprises! My daughter had so much fun opening it. When you hold it up by the handle and pull the legs down, it pops open and spreads confetti and the colorful packages, just like a pinata.

This set is packed with 26 surprises, which include two dolls, tons of accessories, and adorable animals. The animals are my daughter’s favorite part of any Polly Pocket set, and the standouts for her in this set are the sloth and the seal.

There are so many areas of this set that you can use to play. It features the Pop & Swap system, which has little plugs to hold down the dolls and accessories and lets you change the set up of the toy each time.

The flamingo case is incredibly sturdy and latches well. It closes easily, even with all the accessories inside, and the handle makes it portable for kids. This is a fantastic set. It’s fun and great to take on the go, like all Polly Pocket sets, but what makes this set unique is the “Wow!” factor you get from the fun pinata opening, confetti, and colorful surprise bags.

My 5 and 9 year old girls were squealing with delight as they opened their Polly Pocket. They pulled down on the flamingos feet/legs and confetti sprinkled out. Its very thin tissue paper confetti, so its easy to clean up.

This set comes with A LOT of accessories! My girls took turns opening the little blind bags containing the accessories. I was very happy to find that the figures and accessories easily fit inside the flamingo for storage.

My girls propped the flamingo wings up to help hold the flamingo open at a 90 degree angle while playing. although I discovered the flamingo sits open on its own without needing to prop it up. Polly has a cute skirt that can come on and off.

All of the accessories have little holes in the bottom, this allows them to connect to the little pegs inside the flamingo. See my pictures for details. This is a great set and both my girls love to play with it!.

After languishing out in the Farkel wilderness for many, forlorn years I have discovered the only way to Farkel. The quick reference scoring layout is there for all to see and most convenient. The dice stay on the table and the score pad is pretty cool as well.

I like the scoring system with it’s slight tweaks from classic Farkel but you can still roll your own way and still enjoy this rolling tray.

We have played Farkel in several different versions but this one is by far the best. The dice are contained in game box and don’t fly off the table. The points system is imbedded in playing field for quick reference and the included scoring pad is a easy to use format.

This card game is hilarious. I turned into a drinking game with “first person to mess up” has to drink. This game probably more for a younger crowd since most of the dares are about social media. But there plenty of cards to choice from there 4 different categories to play with.

What a fun game, and just for us females!! Ladies Night has never been more fun! You can have 3-20 players and enjoy a new experience each time. You read the card out loud to the group then perform the action.

Me and my friends played this game by ourselves one night and we had a great time answering the questions. We all laughed so hard it hurt! The game was simple to learn. Everyone got to play even though we had 12 girls in the room.

Jack was the hit this Halloween at our house. Both with the trick or treaters and the parents. The projection is good on his face. Stands out and catches people’s attention from the street. It’s a little fuzzier close up but still good.

I would recommend him to others and I told about a dozen people today I got him from Zulily. First year I ran out of candy. Maybe he attracted to much attention.

Once I found a plug in that fit, this pumpkin exceeded my expect ions by leaps and bounds. He talks the whole time he is turned on with pretty funny quips and jokes. You can silence, but he made a big hit! Our 100+ trick or treaters enjoyed him.

His projections onto his face are very good. Even to being able to see the flame of his candle in his mouth. I am very pleased!!! He will be on our porch every Halloween.

This birthday wishes Barbie is so cute! The overall style completely flows together…hair/makeup, dress, down to the shoes. My daughter was drawn to the dress on this Barbie immediately. She’s such a girly girl, so the high/low cut of the dress with the big bow made her face light up.

It’s definitely for a girl that’s ready to party and have fun. Barbies shoes are really cute too! Very fashionable. I love how Barbie’s toenails are now painted. They weren’t painted back in my day. My daughter has so much fun playing with this birthday wishes Barbie.

She creates an entire birthday party with her. It’s so cute and fun to watch!.

This doll was given to my 5 year old, and she adores it. It will not be used as a collectible, but it comes with a nice certificate of authenticity, and a stand. I do think our stand may have been defective, as it didn’t hold her up properly, but didn’t remove a star for this, since it wasn’t going to be used anyway.

The dress is so beautiful, and my daughter decided she looks like a “beautiful princess”. She is the favorite of her Barbies, and my daughter likes that she “matched” all her Barbie accessories and Unicorns she already has.

I’d recommend this doll for both collector’s, because this doll is absolutely stunning, and Barbie lovers of any age to play with.

My 6 year old daughter really liked the Birthday Wishes Barbie. She commented on her makeup and earrings right away. She is also a fan of high low dresses, so she loved that too. I loved the big bow, dot design, and hair style.

Her favorite part might have been the painted finger nails, as I don’t believe we have any other Barbies with that feature. This doll comes with a stand and seems to be more of a display type doll. She does not have extra joints in the arms or legs.

I purchased my party box last year before May long weekend. I used it virtually every weekend since and the thing never ceases to impress all who hear it. It looks good and sounds even better. I thought the light show thing was a little too gimmicky when I first got it, but have grown to love it; especially hot tubbing or camping with friends.

Yes, it’s a little on the spendy side, but you will never regret buying it. It’s great for low volume listening in the basement or workshop, or it will play plenty loud enough with quality sound for an entire crowd outside in a large open setting.

Btw, even operating at fairly loud levels outside with bass-heavy music, the battery still lasts around 5 hours. Idling along at really low volume levels outside so as not to annoy the neighbours will easily surpass 8+ hours on a single charge.

I’ve been using the PartyBox for about a month and I am loving it so far! The sound quality is excellent and is loud enough that you can hear it clearly from a good distance away. The Bluetooth works from a long distance away, so I can move around with my phone and not worry about it disconnecting.

We ordered this pre-sale for our daughters birthday and it arrived a month early. We set it up to make sure it worked, it was a very simple process and worked great. The sound quality is surprisingly good and the volume can be loud, but not too loud.

We’ve pre-ordered the wireless headphones too, so hopefully they’ll be easy to use with the machine. Really happy with our purchase and I’m sure our daughter will be over the moon!.

It’s a Bluetooth speaker with a microphone, no built in songs, the magic button tries to direct your Bluetooth device to connect to Spotify so it can play the songs. It has a built in rechargeable battery, and it seems to run for a few hours before needing to charge.

The speaker quality is the only negative, at max volume it gets distorted. My daughter likes to sing with it and the cartoon characters.

Brought this for my daughters 5th birthday present. Pro’s. It looks great, is not too big and the lights on the sides are a great edition. Cons. Took a while to set up as couldn’t get it to link on Bluetooth but once li keed you don’t have to do it again.

I thought there were some pre-loaded encanto songs but there aren’t, you can only play music when linked to your phone which means she can’t really play with it on her own in her room.

My daughters enjoyed this Polly pocket playset. Other reviews stated it being difficult to close due to all the pieces having to fit properly. My daughters had no trouble but I can see how it may be more frustrating for a three or four year old child.

They enjoyed all the little surprises and spaces and opening the toy from the package was easy for my six year old to do. Kind of neat to carry around the house with the lanyard but not super realistic for taking out.

They played with this toy a lot initially but haven’t really picked it up a lot since so not much value. Maybe if they had other Polly pocket play sets, it would hold its value better.

This is an adorable set! It’s been about a week, and it’s still holding the interest of my three year old. She calls all the little surprises it came with “specials” and loves carrying them around and playing with them! My two girls had a bit of a hard time actually using the pieces in the play set, as everything is so small, but it came with enough little pieces/accessories that they could both play with it at the same time.

We love the Polly Pocket Spin ‘n’ Surprise Birthday playset. My 7 year old especially loves the unicorns and couldn’t wait to open all of the surprises. She enjoys setting up the accessories on the stand and then rearranging them.

I like that the set comes with two Polly Pocket dolls so she can play with a friend and they each have a doll (no arguing over a single doll). The included play dough and molds were a nice bonus but absolutely not necessary for this set to keep my daughter’s attention.

First off I dropped pedals a long time ago. They were simply too noisy and, with regard to distortion, too fuzzy or buzzy. I did once own an Ibanez SM-9 that I’d consider an exception and that I’d wished I had kept.

All that aside I just didn’t like mucking up the chain with battery hungry devices anymore especially considering that software and modeling technology can do all of that and more. I was using PODS up until recently and decided to ditch those for plugins exclusively because I was able to get pretty good tones from them but I noticed that I needed a boost.

That’s where this pedal came in. I probably tried one at some time or another but never actually had one. I love this pedal! Not only am I getting the boost I need but I see they have improved the signal to noise ratio.

It also seems to get a lot more usage per battery than the old pedals of back in the day. I am very pleased with the output of this pedal, I can get my tone through and not have it lost in the gain. Also very simple settings, Tone, Level, Distortion.

Nothing that will take a long time to dial in. Very happy with this little pedal!.

Been using them for years. Still my favourite distortion since the 80s. These were voiced for humbucker guitars to push the front ends of smokin hot Marshall master volume and jcm800 amps to give them plenty of gain and power for shredding.

You’ll hear this pedal all over lots of classic 80s rock albums when the JCM800 100 Watt head was the amp that ruled the decade. It was a staple on the pedalboards of most well known 80s rock bands and shredder guitarists back then known for it’s hard percussive attack and heavy metal sound and it’s still a great classic pedal that everyone should own.

This is the amazing Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, loved by all who use it. Amazing value at just £55. I won’t bore you with stories about how robust it is, because we all know Boss equipment lasts forever.

It looks and feels great, but most importantly, sounds incredible. I play punk rock, and with my Gibson SG Special, plugged into my Marshall JCM 900 this delivers exactly the sound I want. I loved that in the manual it gives example sound setting, one of which was British Punk.

That just made me smile. I knew instantly it was right up my street. Oh, and if you’re into electronics, this thing is made of pin-through-hole components, so it leaves it open for a good bit of modding.

There are plenty of guides for that online. Sitting in my Boss BCB-30 pedal board this never fails to make me smile.

I buy these at our local dollar tree so each box is $1. I splurge too often on candy and this brand and this one is in my top 3 favorites. I love the wide variety of flavors. most have 3 or 5 flavors.

this has 10! the box size is awesome, for the prize its an amazing amount of candy. (other brands are chinsy on the amount actually in the box and these aren’t. the sourness is great not quite like air head sour but not an unnoticeable sour either which is nice! love the fat free and gluten free factor.

well. the product itself is one of my favorite candys. Unfortunately it waa missing from my order. I waa sooo looking forward to mu favorite candy only to find out it was nowhere to be found. love Walmart pickup because they do tend to be great at the process.

I purchased a bottle of Midsummer Solstice about a year ago for my spouse. She enjoys G&Ts, I knew Hendrick’s always makes excellent products, and I was intrigued by the purple bottle and its description.

What a fortunate gamble! We were floored by the exquisite floral glory that was hidden therein! We are fortunate to be able to afford whatever spirits we like, but it is difficult for me to even imagine a gin more delicious and delicate than Midsummer Solstice.

It is far superior to gins that I’ve paid twice as much or more for. The label says “Limited Release”, and my spouse has made me return to buy another bottle, fearing that it might not be available at some point in the future.

Midsummer Solstice has actually reduced the array of spirits I keep on hand, limiting the variety of cocktails I can mix, simply because a Solstice G&T is *so much better* than so many other drinks that I can no longer be bothered with them.

They don’t hold a candle to this fine spirit. I have also gifted this gin to several family and friends, and everyone who has tasted it has said the same thing – it is the most lovely gin ever. The team at Hendrick’s responsible for creating this libation should be sainted, and the recipe ought to be carved into a block of granite and preserved for the ages.

So after a night of drinking, My friends and I stumbled into a high end steakhouse and sidled up to the bar. There I was served the BEST dirty Martini I’ve ever had. I’ve been chasing that high ever since.

I have tried every combo and recipe for a dirty martini imaginable, which led me to Hendricks. Alas, it wasn’t the missing link in my Dirty Martini search, but it has given me my new favorite drink on the planet.

The Gin & Tonic. I’d always avoided Gin. Worried that the juniper would give me PTSD laden flash backs to my middle school days slathering myself in Juniper Breeze from Bath & Body works. But I’m so happy that my spur of the moment decision to pick up that CVS tonic water to attempt to make use of the attractive paper weight that was the Hendricks gin bottle gathering dust in my cabinet.

And now through research I can advise you. 3/1 Fever Tree tonic water to Hendricks with two limes. Do it and you’re welcome.

The bottle looks fancy but is more fragile than a piece of single-ply toilet paper that has been soaking in water. I grabbed my bottle, made the mistake of lifting straight up instead of up and out. Well the cap bumped the top of my very short shelf and the bottle fell all of 1cm.

It then proceeded to EXPLODE. This thing didn’t just crack or shatter, half of the bottle is missing. Pieces went across the room. Honestly, it is a miracle that this liquor survives shipping in such a poor container.

I am surprised that it does not simply implode if you look at it wrong. I legit have a bottle of Russian Standard that I have accidentally yeeted across the room because it was under my desk and I spun my chair fast.

Not a scratch. This falls straight down on a flat surface the width of my pointer finger and explodes. $40 wasted.

Excellent classic juniper forward gin. And what is possibly the most hideously designed packaging. This looks like it was meant to appeal to someone on their way to a frat party in 1991, actually keep this in the cabinet I don’t want anybody to SEE this bottle.

Whoever I would like people who appreciate good gin to TASTE what’s in the bottle. The gin inside the bottle is utterly serious gin, despite its American West origins, this is as classic a London dry gin as being made anywhere in the world right now.

Sharper and more peppery than Boodles, crisper and cleaner than Tanqueray 10, less rootsy than Plymouth Gin, reminiscent of the old higher proof Gordons and Beefeaters gins, with an American craft distiller edge.

Makes a stellar Martini, Martinez, classic English style gin and tonic, or any mixed drink or cocktail that might need a backbone of resinous pine or a drier style base gin, this is the way to go. I think it’s a little bit more user friendly than the Terroir gin, also from the West Coast, which is fine in and of itself but does not necessarily make a flexible cocktail.

The only thing they need to do is get rid of that bottle. oh my God. I thought of buying a decanter or something just so I can keep this fine gin around without having to look at that hideous packaging.

Absolutely my new favorite gin. It’s slightly sweet and a teeny bit fruity at the top but definitely finishes with a pepper kick. Less pepper though, when on ice. Watch out you don’t dig yourself a hole with this.

It is super refreshing and easy to drink but at 49. 3%, you can get yourself in too deep without much effort. Tried to pick some up today but couldn’t find it anywhere because now it comes in a drastically different, butt-ugly bottle.

(which I see here, now) Strange move on the part of the manufacturer, but then, what do I know about marketing. It’s quite good and at a fair price. Definitely recommend.

Junipero is one of my all time favorites. I hoard it and save it for special occasions. Great in a Martini, a Gin & Tonic, and an Aviation. Clean and crisp. Citrus forward. Not overwrought with botanicals like many new American gins.

At 97 proof it packs a punch. Like everything Anchor Distilling produces it is a quality product.

I’m a whiskey guy. But my wife likes to keep seltzers in the house. White Claw tastes like fruit flavored chemicals. Battery acid. High noon is the closest thing to a vodka soda out of all the larger brands.

Least offensive, refreshing. A good compromise on date nights.

One of my favorite seltzers! I hope they continue to make it year after year. They have good, strong fruit flavor and mange to have a nice sweetness that doesn’t taste fake.

I really like the high noon tropical pack. It does have a little more flavor than other hard seltzers. It’s my go to seltzer.
