20 Best Gaming Headset For Warzone (2023 Updated)

Firstly I’m a huge Alienware fanboy, but I’ll list the pros and cons as unbiased as I can. Pros: 7. 1 Surround sound is excellent, greatly improved directional sound and footsteps in fps gaming specifically in Valorant Ear Pads are super comfortable and overall build quality feels solid The cables are long enough to where they don’t get in the way The microphone is decent for the price and compared to other headsets in this price range Cons: The pressure that the headphones apply to your head is a bit much so it will get uncomfortable after a couple of hours in my opinion.

This factor will be different for everyone. Audio EQ – These headphones are very low mid heavy so if you have and EQ to adjust it then my recommendation is to cut in the 300hz frequency range 5db and boost the 5Khz – 10Khz 4db.

If you prefer bass then a boost in the 40hz -120hz of 3db will be good too. You can Alienware Command Center with these headphones to make the adjustments but Alienware Command Center acts buggy and often requires a clean reinstall of the program to make it work properly.

If it’s your first time installing ACC then you probably won’t have an issue. Overall I enjoy the headphones and love the Alienware aesthetic. Really the only con I listed that can’t be fixed is the amount of pressure the headphones apply to your head but that’s not a huge issue to me and It’s a matter of getting used to them.

I got these to replace my company provided headset, which were on ear and generally not too great. The sound these put out is decent, but I use them mainly for talking with my colleagues (Teams) and listening to training videos.

They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and I really like that the mic recesses into the headset to get it out of my way. They are not the best headset available, but they work great for work from home and are comfortable enough to wear all day.

I did try to listen to some music on them, and while they sounded good, they were not stellar. I know this is a gaming headset, but I have not had the chance to use it with a game. I wish the cable was a little longer, but it is of normal length and so not really an issue.

I have had no issues with the mic, and my colleagues say I sound normal, so I guess the mic on these is pretty decent.

PROS First off, I want to say that these are very comfortable. I have a larger than average head so naturally finding a comfortable headset is a little harder than most people. The audio quality is equal to or slightly better than my already good old Razer Kraken V2’s that I replaced with these.

As with most modern Alienware products, build quality is also solid; these things feel like they could last a decade and still look as good as the day you bought them. FLAWS If you were looking for a gaming headset to use for comms in competitive games, I sure hope that you don’t like to listen to music/game sounds at more than HALF VOLUME because otherwise, THE MICROPHONE WILL PICK UP THESE SOUNDS!! As you can imagine, if you are open mic in Discord this can be extremely distracting for your teammates.

Now you may be wondering why the mic picks up so much of this sound, that is because the cans on this set leak an ABSURD amount of audio; not to mention they are not effective at all at sound isolation; so I hope you enjoy hearing everyone in your room; while they hear every game sound/lyric you are listening to.

Lastly, Alienware Command Center is GARBAGE!!! It is a buggy mess and is a horrible user experience. Do not recommend using that if at all possible lol. Only get these if you don’t care about competitive comms (or if you plan on strictly using Push To Talk) and don’t care about any sort of sound isolation.

(I bought these on a different retailer but wanted to get this review here to warn people if these are things that would make them unhappy with their purchase).

It was difficult to evaluate these as simply a gaming headset or just for listening to music. Thankfully, they perform well doing both, but I have my personal reservations in just how well they do either.

Let me start by saying that the ANC works surprisingly well with this headset, as it cuts out about 95% of any background noise once it is turned on, leaving your audio listening experience quite clean and clear.

They are not perfect, but they perform well for a “gaming” headset in this aspect. I have tried to listen to an extensive range of music across a variety of genres and have found the audio listening experience to be clean and with sufficient bass for most musical types, but for those attempting to blow out their eardrums with bass, I could not get much more performance beyond their natural sound.

If you are a “bass head” then you may need to look elsewhere as I couldn’t seem to turn it up much higher, with either the “Bass Boost” setting under Razer Synapse, or adjusting the EQ. The treble and mid-range frequencies on the Razer Barracuda Pro are exceptionally clean and crisp and sound great.

For gaming, I do not typically use a microphone, but I have used this headset for video meetings and the other person had no issues with hearing me clearly or understanding anything I said. Otherwise, these sounded as well as some of my wired headphones for clarity.

These sound far more precise and cleaner than previous Razer headsets I have used and have a clean sound range from low to high frequencies. I was not disappointed when gaming with these but, I was not blown away either.

They just sounded like I thought they should sound for my personal tastes. I have used these on Windows 11 with the 2. 4GHz “dongle” as well as solely as a Bluetooth connection. The latter connection does not show up in Razer Synapse on a PC, just with the dongle.

So, you may not be able to adjust some of the enhanced features of the Razer Barracuda Pro without using the dongle. I did not find that changing the EQ settings did a whole lot to change the sound for the better, or sometimes at all.

The sound enhancements in the Synapse software did not seem to respond at all, which I think is a a configuration problem on my end. I would not typically recommend BT noise cancelling headphones by themselves for gaming, but Razer has a viable product in the Barracuda Pro if you are looking for clean and precise sound quality and a gaming headset with a well performing mic.

Not perfect, but close.

So, I actually have the white set (store grabbed wrong item for my online order), but functionally, should be the same. Preface, my use for these is causal listening to videos and music while programming, and mainly for doing voice overs for tutorial videos I started getting into.

I’m not an audiophile, and don’t need high end mic pickup. I was very impressed with how these fit. They completely cover my ear, with the pads fully resting on my head, with my ears completely inside untouched.

So after hours of wear, ears were not bothered at all. Sound quality was really good considering the price point. Yeah, $150+ sets will sound better, but for $30. I love having a detachable microphone, and that when in use it does stay in the place you put it well, no noise from head movement.

My big issue with older set was the mic was inline in the cord, so any movement where it brushed against anything, that was picked up. Another unexpected bonus, as the ear pieces can turn sideways and lay flat, when I just need the microphone I can turn them that way, dropping the set down and letting ear pieces rest on collarbone, and position the mic to pick up great for voice over recording.

Still comfortable, I don’t feel like it is choking me hanging around my neck. The build of them, again, for the price not bad. For people who sling them around a bunch, I could see where there would be potential for joints to wear out and possibly break.

But if you are being decent with them, I don’t see an issue. Volume level could be a better, I have a cheap $15 set I had been using for a while, and they are louder, but the sound range is not as good.

I do plan on picking up a $20 headset amp for these for the few times I do want “jam” to some music a little loud. One final note on the microphone. In testing the recording level of these compared to my cheap $15 headphone set and a couple other mics, I had music playing while doing it, and noticed on playback, during the quiet parts of the recording I could hear what was playing during the recording.

It wasn’t really loud, and for general use (ie talking with people live), probably not going to make a difference or noticed by others, but for recording voice overs, I will be sure not to have anything playing.

The cheap headphone set also has the same issue, which surprised me, as it’s mic is 5″ down from headset in the cord itself. My cheap earbud/boom mic device, no playback audio picked up during recording.

So for the price, I’m very happy with these, and would recommend them for causal use like I am doing.

By the begining of 2020 I had already heard a tremendous amount of positive feedback about JBL. They were top of the line for sound at a good price. Sadly When i bought those headphones at my local Bestbuy in the summer 2020 i was on for some of the worst experience.

The positive: the sound quality is insane 10/10 unbeatable, but everything else about it is bad. First the computer Drivers would crash at random moments and this was during covid when zooms and discord were important.

The sound of the computer would stop until Windows would start a troubleshoot which could take a few minutes. It was faster to restart the computer. It got fixed only a year after my purchased. I was up for no good.

The Headset was really flimsy and weak around the earflap. My last headset last me 5 years, never broke and are still holding. It broke after a year and I had to tape it so it would’nt hang over by the cable risking to break wholly.

since the begining the cable started to get messy and tangly since it was’nt made of rubber but of a new type of material which was stronger but did create a lot of difficult knots, twists and general inconfort.

After a while the end of the cable that would fit in the headphone started to be unstable. It would dislodge itself when my head would move just a little bit. It would’nt drop but only temporary lose connection and the sound for a few seconds.

It became increasingly annoying since the sound would simply stop until i disconnect the cable and reconnect it to the headphone or the computer Finally the cable gave up before I did It burned because of his compulsive need of being reconnected to the headphone.

JBL makes great speakers, let me say it a second time because people will believe i’m only here to throw shades because I would be a Fanboy of another company. They are the best on the market but the gaming headphones are a big failure, lots of cool feature but terribly manufactured.

Sincerely not worth it.

Purchased JBL Quantum 400 headphones from Harvey Norman Maroochydore on 26/12/21. The plastic on the headphones above the earcups deteriorated after just 1 month leaving the earcups hanging only by the wire and rendering the set unusable.

Noticed the right side was ‘gone’ on Saturday afternoon and when packaging them up for return on Sunday morning (today) the left side crumbled away. Harvey Norman staff refused a refund claiming that the issue was a result of ‘damage’.

The section that disintegrated is just above the earcups and physically can’t be incidentally ‘damaged’ by contact with any surfaces: the earcups (when not dangling by the cord as they are now) kept that section of plastic raised.

When pointing out this impossibility in response to the ‘damage’ claim in a follow up phone call to the store, Harvey Norman staff subsequently claimed the ‘damage’ could have been caused when putting the set on and off (ie: normal use) or ‘bending them back too far’.

This subsequent claim just reinforces that the set is defective/poor quality and not fit for purpose. There is already a 1 star review on for this headset from 7 months ago outlining ***exactly the same fault*** which also occurred a month after purchase making the issue a known defect.

Also static noise is an issue with this set but obviously not as much of an issue as the dangling ear cups/deteriorating plastic!.

I have to preface this that I have owned this headset since 2018. It was worth aroundabout 100 to 120. The thing at the time was a beast. I was moving from a steelseries and I really enjoyed the sound that came out of the drivers.

That goes without saying though that it is pretty much all that they got going for them. The build quality is good (granted I had dropped the headset a couple times while standing up, unbeknownst to me I was stepping on the cord) but it really started to bust up on the second fall.

The plastic brackets that are between the headband and the driver arms started to crack, and now i have broken pieces in my headset. I’ll get some popping in my sound as well. It started to do this to me around a year ago, but I did some tests to see how the popping starts and as it turns out the drivers are getting old and arent able to keep the output that they were able to bust out with no problem.

I decided to see if i could do some DIY repair on the plastic part that was cracked and found that there were 2 tiny little plastic pieces that hold onto the drivers and keeps them aligned. Both of those were cracked.

There were also 3 pins to maintain proper alignment and noticed one of the pins were either missing or melted off! I know though that this is an old headset and that it might have been chipped or clipped off during the fall but the ideaology behind the drivers being held on by that bracket with two tiny pieces just baffles my mind.

I had recently purchased a newer headset from a brand that is well known for their sound quality but is much more expensive. I personally hope and pray that it will be a better quality control than this headset.

Overall, if you want to get into a good heaset that sounds decent and you dont mind the quality of what ive highlighted from this headset, then this would be a decent fit. I am giving this 4 stars given from it’s longevity for the price.

It is rare for a headset to last this long for me, even though I dont abuse my stuff. (Also must mention that the cups that you get the faux leather and the other material, just stick with the leather.

The other material sucks moisture from your ears and will give you a rash after a while).

I’ve had this headset for about a month now – I use it at work where I wear it every day for a full workday, and it’s very comfortable, even with my glasses. I was a little wary of going with a wireless headset, but I’ve gone into another room about 150′ from my desk and still remained connected with no dropouts – I don’t anticipating ever needing more than that.

The audio is clear and loud, and the headset does a very good job of blocking out other noise in the office. The volume wheel is a scroll wheel that controls the computer’s master volume, so no fiddling with computer and headset volume controls separately.

I really like the red LED mute indicator on the end of the mic boom. It’s not distracting, but if I look for it, it is visible in my peripheral vision – and the mute button is raised, while the power button is flush, which helps distinguish them by feel while wearing the headset.

I’ve not yet pushed past two days, but this will happily go two full workdays on a single charge, and recharging is quick. The headset will sleep after a period of time with no connection – such as when I shut my computer down for lunch, so there’s no concern of forgetting to turn it off.

I plug my dongle into a dock on my desktop where I can see it, and there is a clear, but not overly bright red LED glow when it’s connected, and it flashes when the headset is not connected, which can help quickly confirm that it’s paired.

Several other people in my office had this same headset already, and now I know why.

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset is a great headset, it provides an excellent audio quality especially for gaming. It gives enough noise cancelling for me to not get distracted while playing or for other purposes.

The sound card and speakers are great. The headset is really comfortable and durable as well. When I use it, it doesn’t hurt my ear at all and it fits perfectly for most people because it is adjustable.

I really like how the mic is detachable. Also, I like how there is a baggy provided because I can store the other parts when I’m not using it. I can use it mostly anywhere there is a usb cord or a headphone jack.

It is also easy to carry around since it’s not heavy and not too bulky. According to my friends who I talk to while using the headset, the microphone quality is crystal clear. The one thing I did encounter is that there weren’t too many color choices to pick from.

Sometimes the wire gets in the way, however that is only because it is a wired headset rather than a bluetooth headset. When it comes to pricing, I think that it was decently priced, not too much, not too cheap.

Although there is a problem I noticed, which was the microphone’s structure. I noticed that as I bend the mic, it causes these wrinkles. One thing that stood out to me, is that there is free technical support with a two year warranty which is always helpful if there were to have a problem with the product.

Overall I think that this product is really good and definitely worth the price.

If you’re new to gaming, or a casual gamer looking for a headset this is a great bang for your buck. The headset is very comfortable and I am a big fan of the leather ear muffs, rather than other fabrics that some other companies use.

The sound is very clear, and the volume on the headset gets pretty loud. I am a big FPS player, footsteps, guns firing, and other sound ques come through very clear. When playing in a party with friends I can hear them very well, and they have no issues hearing me.

At first I thought it would be a pain to connect to my PS5 via Bluetooth, but the USB adapter made it very easy. A couple downsides though. First being that the USB adapter takes up one of the USB spots in the front of the console, sometimes I’ll be charging my phone and controller at the same time so I can’t do this when the headset is connected.

The mic connects via 3. 5 AUX jack, and it can’t be bent up and down. So if you are not talking to your friends and don’t want to see the mic out of your peripherals, you have to unplug it and set it aside.

If you are organized, there is no a problem but if you are somebody who misplaces things it could be an issue. The last thing is just having to charge it. Having your headset die mid-game can be frustrating, and if you are not used to charging your headset when you get off the system you may find yourself playing your first couple games the next day with no headset.

With all that being said, those are pretty minor issues and the actual performance of the headset is great and for $75 you really cannot beat it. For parents looking to get their kids a headset for Christmas, or a younger kid looking to get a solid headset without spending a ton of money.

I highly highly recommend.

I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5. 1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.

1 systems. but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate.

Click on the 7. 1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows. This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7. 1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.

Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.

Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music.

Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!.

Disclaimer: I haven’t bought this product but is testing it for Review Club. I have tested this product for the past weeks and here is my overall results. Overall it is an ok headset, it does not compare to the best wireless headsets, but it is definitely a good buy for the price.

To sum up. Pros: * The headset is a good fit on the head and around the ears (on me at least). * You won’t get really sweaty ears. * The sound quality is quite good with speak, but (see cons) * Batterry life is good.

Before I got an update it did not automatically turn off when not used, so if you forgot to turn it off – battery got drained. This was solved via software update * Very nice app to adjust sound. Cons: * The sound quality when listening to music is not really good.

There are some twitches in the sound when you listen so don’t expect HIFI quality. * The overall appearance of the headset does not appear as a high-end product as both weight and looks is a little bit cheap (which it basically is compared to other products).

* The headset is based on a dongle so you cannot use it for more devices or even your phone.

I’ve worked from home for a long time and have had a number of different headsets, none of them cheap. These, I feel, are the best. I use them mostly for making calls from my soft phone, and the audio sounds fantastic.

The people I’m calling tell me my microphone sounds great, too-very clear. I also use them for listening to music or youtube videos, and while you can definitely get better headphones for music, these do all right.

The ear cups are large enough to fit completely over my ears and are really comfortable. I wear them for hours without thinking about it. The only thing that took some getting used to was that they do a pretty good job of sound insulation, which made it so I can’t hear myself well while talking when I’m on phone calls.

It’s really just me not being used to it, but if you’re like me and your old headset ear cups sort of sat on top of your ears, this might require a little, like I said, getting used to. In the beginning I was shouting at people, LOL.

I haven’t run out of a battery charge yet, so I don’t really know how long the battery lasts, real world, but I’ve used them for 4+ hours straight with no battery issues. It’s also nice that you can use them while they’re being charged–my last headset didn’t do that, so I always had to make sure they were charged before going into meetings.

Overall, the quality and fit and finish appear good. In short, yes, these headphones are marketed as being for gaming, but they work very, very well for phone calls, if you’re calling from a computer.

I probabky tried around 6-7 different wireless headsets and this was the best iveeall. As i type i have 4 headsets sitting in my kitchen and im gonna start to return them back to the stores i purchased them from.

Thie was the liudestbheadset and doesnt seem to have many issues with connection. I did have to unplug and plug the dongle back in once, but not a big deal. My inky complaint is that the ear pieces are not very comfortable.

I loved the feel of the Turtle Beach 700 ear pieces, but oddly enough i found when i was eating eith the 700 the ear piecesthe 700 would push my jaw back because they were so thick. No issues with this and the headset is light which i love.

So all the others hwill go back to the store and i am keeping thehyperx.

I’ve had these for a couple weeks now, and so far, the comfort and quality are excellent. They have plenty of battery life for long work and gaming sessions, and stay comfortable the whole time. The pairing process is quick and easy, and being able to remove the mic when unnecessary is great.

Plus, I love that they are wireless charging compatible – I just leave them on my desk and they are fully charged next time I put them on!.

This is by far the most comfortable headset I’ve ever owned. It fits my small head well (many headsets just don’t sit properly and always fall off), but without being too tight so I can wear it for an hour or more without really noticing it’s there.

I love that it’s wireless because my cat has a knack for catching cables as she darts by in critical moments in a game. The battery life so far has been great, I charged it once when I first got it and haven’t needed to plug it in for weeks of casual gaming after work.

The wireless charging feature is super neat, I’m glad I don’t have to worry about keeping track of yet another additional charging cable with all my devices and can set the headset next to my phone on the Qi charging pad I already have.

It does not have the option to use a wired mode, so if that’s important to you this may not be the model for you. I like that the mic is detachable since 90% of the time when I play I am not on voice chat and like using a headset to immerse myself in the world.

Overall I would totally recommend, it has everything I need and the comfort exceeded my expectations.

On ps4 Sound is not good its a hard sound i used astro a50 and turtlebeach 800x elite they both like a sky and when u switch to this its falling down from a sky. they r lighter 7. 1 stereo is useless give u little bit edge but in a end its not worth with that much money i bought this only bc its lighter.

I think all the headset with usb dongle are the same. I recommend if u go for wirless on ps4 go for the one have optical option one otherwise go wired i remember i used to have p28 turtlebeach for 40$ they are wired they sound better than this.

The RIG-500 Pro HX Gen 2 headset is comfortable and one can easily get lost and immersed into a game before realizing that the headset was on all the time! It is a seamless experience and you do not feel any weight.

The fit can be customized to your liking without making it uncomfortable. The metal headband should handle quite a bit of wear and tear and some rough handling without worries. At the same time, it is not bulky.

The earcups are just the right size and help block out quite a lot of the outside noise. Adjusting the headset involves taking out the ear cup and physically reslotting into the slot up or down. But you once you have this set to your liking, you will not need to mess with it again.

Sliding adjustment mechanisms are easier but they bring their own issues. The sound quality while good is a bit on lower side of volume. This was surprising. I had to bump up the sound level on the source and then use the sliding sound adjustment on the connecting flat wire to get the sound to a level I wanted.

The microphone is detachable and flexible which works to your needs and advantage. The flat cable is a nice touch and helps reduce tangling. I wish the cable was a bit longer though. For handset games, the length is reasonable but for connecting to a PC/laptop, it certainly needs to be longer.

Very easy to setup and use. Comfortable, not bulky and solid sound. Overall, a good headset that will get you lost and enjoying your games.

I have had one of the earlier RIG headsets and two headsets of this particular model – one which I received from Nacon several months after opening a warranty request with Plantronics (now Poly) before they handed the ownership off and dozens of emails to remind Nacon I still had a warranty request and re-explaining my issues.

I got the RIG headsets because they were modular, but you can’t find parts to purchase anywhere now that the rights have been handed off (unless you have the 500). The first headset had the speakers give out in less than a year.

The second had the microphone start producing static after a few months; it has to be in a single, particular position to work correctly. I contacted Nacon multiple times about that issue with no response or support.

Now the headset randomly switches off, works when powered off, and worst of all randomly produces extremely loud static that is both panic inducing and incredibly painful. Now that you can’t purchase parts and there is no functional support for these headsets, I cannot recommend them in any good conscious.

I’m actually going to say don’t buy them at all. Especially not for the price, the frequency at which parts stop working properly, and the ear damage done by random malfunctions.

Had these quite a while now and the sound quality is amazing. Super comfortable, no effort setting up. Only issue is the microphone. Literally everything but the microphone is good. If you plan on using the mic I probably wouldn’t get this because of that sole reason.

Sound though? Amazing. Mic? Definitely terrible.

I like this headset a lot. The cable is nice and long for those who are sitting a bit further from their PC. I personally only use it with the USB in my old PC and on my laptop. I must admit that it’s showing it’s first cracks of getting broken (have had it for more than 2 years at this point probably and I’m not specifically careful with it).

The fit is comfortable and the audio is good enough for gaming. I’ve never had any complaints about my microphone sounding bad.

While the headset performs decently, it simply isn’t as good as other HyperX headsets on the market. On the PS4 and on the PS5, other players complain that they can hear themselves in my microphone, and the only fix that I’ve found is turning my microphone sensitivity down to almost nothing.

Microphone aside, the audio and sound stage are great. Good for music, gaming, and movies! But I wouldn’t expect too much from this headset.

During the lockdowns I learned to play league with my boyfriend and “the boys”, my boyfriend built himself a brand new computer and gave me his old headset since it was better than Samsung phone earphones.

We got a puppy and he unfortunately chewed through the headset chord. I needed a new headset that was wireless, I wanted something comfortable and light since I’m small and my head is very small. My choices were the SteelSeries, this and the Corsair Virtuoso.

I watched and read many many reviews and personal opinions and kept going back to the g733 and SteelSeries. I decided on the g733 because of the consistent review (that males would mostly make or a Caucasian women gamers) on how tight or small it was.

I could tell right away that it would fit me perfectly. I liked that it was mesh as opposed to leather for the fabric since leather gets really bad wear over time, and my boyfriend kept reassuring me that this headsets mic was going to be way better than the 6 year old $60 one I was replacing.

I’m not too keen on the actual specs but right away I could hear the difference on how much better this one is, and all my guy friends said how crisp and louder my voice was. So, if you’re a small Asian girl like me, who likes to play league or games with your man & other friends, wants something light and comfortable without your neck hurting, with great sound and pretty good mic, and something beautiful, this headset is it! The two things I love about it is the fact that I can charge it and use it at the same time, I can use my phone chord to charge it too since it doesn’t require a battery in the headset like the SteelSeries, and how convenient it is to run the bathroom without feeling I’m taking off and putting on 7 pounds from my head.

This headset is perfect for petite girls.

I don’t think that I could live without this headset now that I have it. The sound quality is great, the wireless connection works well and they just look good overall. However, there were a few aspects of this headset that could be improved: I think that it should be compatible with my xbox, and not just playstation.

To play with a headset on xbox, I would have to buy another separate one, which would obviously be quite expensive. I would have preferred to have a headset from a trusted brand and be able to use the software provided by Logitech and match it with my mouse and keyboard, etc.

I don’t know if this problem is due to licensing issues, but it would be good if this support was available in the future. Another thing that I don’t particularly like about this headset is that you can’t change the colours on the RGB lights or turn them off altogether.

I would like this feature to be added as it would be nice to sync this with all my other logitech products. This can also be annoying as i found that the lights can disrupt game play and be distracting overall in the dark.

As this feature is available on other logitech products, it would be nice to see it here. Overall, an amazing headset with a few small issues! Would definitely recommend!.

I have owned many Logitech products and currently own a Logitech G935 Artemis Spectrum headset. I was having problems with charging after 4+ years of owning them with heavy use. I took a leap of faith that Logitech would still meet my needs on a headset.

and they did! Be ready for a detailed review. The Logitech G733 is much more light weight, comfortable, and modernly designed headset for my needs. I have a big head but the stretch band and notches on the headset made them feel custom to my noggin.

The audio has a crisp and consistent output, even on the little sounds. I manually adjusted my audio settings using the Logitech G-Hub. The memory foam cushions are absolutely LUXURIOUS on the ears. They stay breathable during long periods of use.

When sound is coming through, there is a natural level of noise canceling for your surroundings as long as your ears are fully covered. It truly helps bring immersion in what you are playing or listening to.

The simplicity in having the volume wheel and mic mute button on the headset are a great feature. The charge time is solid. I use it between 4 to 6 hours at a time and there is still plenty of power for use the next day.

A nice perk is the removal and moderately flexible mic which produces consistent sound. I use an XLR mic for my pc, but the mic works well on console, too! My final features I am thrilled about with the G733 headset are the RGB lighting, design, and finish.

The lights are great because you can customize them to what ever you want. The design feels solid and robust compared to my G935, which was squeaky and rattled when I adjusted or moved it. This G733 just has zero extra sounds or rattles when adjusting or moving.

The design is slick and feels good to the touch. The head piece itself has a nice satin/matte finish to it which gives a great grip to reduce unwanted sliding or movement during use. The ear pieces housing the speakers are glossy finished with a matte edge.

Overall the best headset I have owned to date! =) Whether you are a first time user of gaming headsets or have been through your fair share of them; the G733 will check off a lot of boxes for what you need!.

I bought these on sale and for the price the headphones are great. I have previously used Corsair and Logitech gaming headphones. The Razer Barracuda X has better quality high and mid sounds while the lows are not near as impressive as previously used gaming headsets.

I had to play around with the fit for these to be comfortable. I have a big head and big ears and the Barracuda X is not as comfortable as the other headsets I’ve used. The earcups are slightly on the small side it gets uncomfortable on my ears for long periods of time.

The earcups are soft breathable material and the headband is made with a metal band and has a nice pillow cushion. I do like that the volume control on the headphones is separate from the system volume control.

It makes it easy to raise or lower the volume when sound levels change. The USB C wireless dongle is slim, I often plug it into my cell phone to use the headphones while watching videos, or for handsfree calls.

The call clarity when using these for work meetings is great, I have no problem hearing everyone. Pros * Price * Build Quality * Clear high and mid tones * Volume control on headphones separate from system volume * Removable Mic * USB C wireless dongle is compact.

The Razer Barracuda X is an awesome value for a great quality, comfortable headset. It is advertised as a 4 in 1 wireless headset, and for the most part it delivers on that promise. The key to this headset is that it has a little USB-C dongle that allows you to use the headset with pretty much any device that supports a standard USB audio device.

It comes with a (fairly long) adapter cable that connects to USB-A ports as well, so it works with desktop PCs that don’t always have easily accessible USB-C ports. The design of the headset is really discrete and with the mic detached doesn’t scream “GAMER” if you want to use it for music listening on the go.

It’s also lightweight and the memory foam pads are comfortable to wear even with glasses. I also want to draw special attention to how premium the packaging felt – each cable and part comes in a small foam padded bag that really was a great touch.

One thing I found surprising is that the Barracuda X actually supports Razer’s two virtual 7. 1 surround apps for PC – both the free ‘basic’ 7. 1 surround sound app (you have to register the headset and then you get an activation code) and the THX spatial sound app which is about 20 bucks.

If you go to the webpage for their 7. 1 surround app, the Barracuda X is advertised there, but on the Barracuda X itself there isn’t any designation about this feature. I imagine this is because the 7.

1 surround is only possible on PC and not on Android, Switch, or PlayStation. Either way, it’s a welcome feature that adds a lot to the PC experience. Using with Android, Switch or PS4 is also pretty seamless.

You just connect the USB-C adapter either directly to the Switch in handheld mode (or Android device), or using the USB-A adapter cable with the dock or the PS4. The mic works as expected (and has great quality and noise reduction), even in phone calls on my Note 20.

Other than for Android gaming I don’t expect much use out of the Razer headset since it requires the dongle and doesn’t support bluetooth – this is a minor tradeoff as the dongle fixes issues with every other platform.

I really loved the Barracuda X with my Switch – being able to use them wirelessly is a lot more flexible, and you can always use the included 3. 5mm cable to plug them in if you need to charge at the same time.

Sound quality wise, the Barracuda X is not an audiophile grade headset and as such I didn’t expect it to sound like one. It sounds well balanced for gaming audio and some music listening – but there is a little distortion if you use bass-heavy EQ settings.

Honestly the bass is pretty good without being overdone by default so I don’t see the need to add bass boost to these. Otherwise I found the audio to be pleasant with a wide soundstage for a closed over the ear headset.

THX Spatial Audio (an optional $$ add on for PC) adds even more depth and directional audio to the soundstage so definitely check that out if you pick this up for PC use.

This is the WORST gaming headset I have ever used. I’ve been gaming on a pc since 2012 and have used all kinds of headsets. I only give it 2 stars because of the price and comfort. Other than that, it’s awful.

First of all there’s this random beeping sound that will randomly go off when I’m using them. It’s not because the mic is being muted since I don’t use the mic that came with it. Someone said that it may be because there’s a loose connection but that isn’t the case because it’s clearly secured into my PC.

I can see that it is. I’ve never had any sort of loose connection problem before. I’ve also put it into multiple USB outlets. When it beeps it’ll beep then mute all sound for a good 2-3 seconds which is extremely annoying.

Also the battery life is atrocious. It doesn’t even come close to competing with any other headset I’ve used it dies so fast. And as of recently it will randomly turn off… Which my god is so annoying.

The battery won’t even be dead it will just shut off. I stream so I need my sound so this is extremely annoying since powering it back on takes about 3-5 seconds. I streamed today and it did this about 7 times.

Also the knob that’s used to adjust the sound gets bumped very easily and I don’t know whether or not my sound is muted on my pc or the headset which is annoying as well. I should have expected something like this I guess since this is one of Razer’s cheaper products but I didn’t think I’d be this disappointed.

Bought this set, it got sent to the wrong address. Best Buy was on the ball with this issue. I got another sent to me. Everything on this unit is very well made, don’t let the weight fool you. I find everything about this product is extremely spot on for what I got.

One down fall, but not a deal breaker. The range isn’t as good as I would have thought. But non the less I am very happy with this unit as well as BestBuys support with the missing first set. I like to play music while gaming and the quality of the sound with in game sound’s is very nice.

Looking for a wireless head set sold by any company. This item as well as well as BestBuy.

Out of all headsets, HyperX has been my favorite with the least amount of issues. This was my first wireless headset purchase and it did not disappoint. Lightweight, long battery life, easy setup and charging.

Great distance/range, I can walk outside to smoke and it still picks up and I’m able to hear and talk. Love the quality and comfort. Fits nicely over my ears and doesn’t get uncomfortable after hours.

Love that when I adjust the volume on the headset it shows up on my PC so I can see what volume it’s at (which might just be a Windows 10 feature, though my wired headset didn’t work this way). Does get very loud and haven’t needed to put it past %50 where as my last headset I had the volume on max.

I’ve had 3 HyperX headsets now, 2 off brands, turtle beach, playstation brand and astro. The only one that compared was the astro but I had issues with it. Really love this one.

Pretty impressed with this. So impressed in fact, that I bought another for one of my kids. They originally used it one their Xbox’s but found it great on their Switches as well. When I say it holds up well to abuse, it does well against my kids falling asleep with it on and rolling on it over and over throughout the night.

Can’t count the number of times I’ve seen them run around the house with it on with the cable snagging on random furniture and no rips or tears in the cable. These headsets fall off of my kids’ beds and onto the floor repeatedly without a sign of damage.

I purchased the EPOS H3 headset three months ago for use in a warehouse office. I use these for hours at a time, every weekday. I have not been disappointed. The first day that I started using them, there was some heavy machinery repair happening in our warehouse, 40 feet from my desk.

I asked several times throughout the day if the person on the other end could hear the background noise. And I’ve asked a handful of times since then when I thought it was a high-noise situation. Not once has anyone been able to hear the background noise.

I am thoroughly impressed and recommend these every chance I get.

Good value but found out that without the right equalizer software or hardware, the volume is very low. I tried maxim out the laptop volume and plugging into a speaker set and maxing out the the volume there but still it was low and flat.

I had to order the EPOS 300SX external volume and equaliser to try and fix this (read the advice online) and i hope this does, But I wish i knew before hand not the cost has doubled as i had to but 2 items.

Also beware of the plugs. This come only with a microphone and headphone plug. If you don’t have those on your laptop or PC, you can’t plug it in (My laptop has a headphone but not a microphone plug).

Once again, i order the EPOS 300 SX to try to fix this as it has a micro sd external connector.

Easy to maintain. Sound is very clean. Short mic do not bother during the games. Nice advanced features, like change the voice.

Also musste ein Headset für den Übergang her und ich bin auf die schnelle auf dieses hier gestoßen. +Sound und Treiber +- Mikrofon +- Verarbeitung – Surround – Materialien – Unbequem Also für wen nur der Sound zählt ist das Headset in Ordnung im Stereo Modus, der Surround sound ist unterste Schublade.

Ich empfinde es als sehr Basslastig die Tiefen sind gut allerdings schwächeln die Höhen sehr stark aber wenn man in der Software am EQ ein wenig rum spielt kann man es ziemlich gut konfigurieren. Das Mikrofon erfüllt seinen Zweck weder gut noch schlecht, Leute sagten meine Stimme wirkt dumpf, wird aber ohne jegliche Störgeräusche übertragen.

Das Headset wirkt solide aber nicht unzerbrechlich es knarrt vorne und hinten aber nicht sonderlich störend wenn man es nicht ständig bewegt. Ich habe ein relativ großen Kopf und für mich sitzt es sehr stramm zwar sind die Polster sehr bequem doch sind die Ohrmuscheln so komisch geformt das sie einfach komisch aufliegen und mir viel zu sehr drücken.

Zu den Materialien, ich weiß nicht was das für Zeug ist aber ich glaube ich werde davon Krebs bekommen. Es riecht sehr arg nach Chemie und fasst sich sehr unangenehm an. Ich muss noch dazu sagen das dieses HS hier um Welten besser klingt als das G930.
