20 Best Gaming Desk With Storage (2023 Updated)

After we got the desk and my wife and I managed to lug it inside our home (the box is heavy, it is best to have 2 people carry it unless your the incredible hulk, ;)) I was a little confused. when I opened the box and saw the first few pieces on top (3 wood sections that interlock together to make the deck) they looked to me like the side panels to a completely different desk! I actually started to worry for 2 seconds that I was sent the wrong item.

The finish, to me, was just kind of average and absolutely not what I was expecting from a $500 full retail item. I later found out that the reason for this is because the entire top of this desk gets covered with one solid mouse pad.

Its a good quality mouse pad that doesn’t budge once its down! I must of not read the description very well if at all because I was actually shocked, but now have grown to like it alot! The other thing worth mentioning and where the desk could actually improve is the cable management net underneath the desk, it get the job done, so its certainly not a deal breaker, just a place I would love to see a little improvement Even if the net was made a little wider for those of us with a lot of cables it fills up and hangs down pretty easily.

Aside from that, it is a great desk! It is a desk that if taken care of, could last a very long time as in years and years and years! Fantastic gaming desk, if you have to handwrite a lot of things while at your desk, you might want to pass on this one, unless you have a hard surface you can use! Overall I would still reccommend it for gaming! the height adjestment is really nice to get that height you love! I do actually want to drop mine even lower than the lowest though and am considering modifying it, because my hands can tend to go numb if elevated above my elbows for extended periods of time, I guess I would add that as a suggestion as well.

Other than that it is surely not a cheap desk, but its not super expensive either. Its a solid pick up for a upper mid tier gaming desk.

Honestly, this desk is impractical in so many ways. They attempted to solve several issues and for some scenarios, it works well, but for others, it is not great. I purchased this desk because of the wide cable management holes in the back and the 32″ depth.

I noted that the cable management holes allowed you to slide a monitor mounting plate right through them and lock it in place (You do not even have to use the grommet plate). Well this only works for smaller single or dual monitor stand as the Ultra-wide will require you to use the offset holes for mounting the arm, but then the let hardware under the desk will get in the way of the mounting bracket (not sure why they didn’t put them all on the same plane).

As a result of this situation, I had to mount the monitor arm to the very back of the desk. Don’t get me wrong, the desk is sturdy and a very good size overall. It’s a durable product that has some flaws, but it’s one of the few options available in this form factor these days.

One more issue is the fact that the desktop is a little rough right out of the box. I honestly believe this is why they give you the mouse pad cover, as it allows them to sell less than cosmetically pleasing units as new in the box.

Now for the mouse pad, well that thing gets dirty very fast and if you have mounted an ultrawide to it, you’re not going to want to remove the monitor to wash the thing. I tossed that thing aside and just threw a normal office planner matt on the center of the desk.

Overall, it’s a very good desk and I’m not disappointed with it, but understand that it is far from perfect and I hope they abandoned the giant mouse pad in the future.

The instructions for putting the hutch together were misleading. We had to unscrew the two beams from the desk (that were initially attached to the desk according to the instructions) to connect them to the upper shelf first and then connect the beams with the top to the desk.

You need at least two people to assemble it. I would not call the assembly “easy”.

This is a great desk. I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to put together with clear instructions and THANK YOU for not making me use another allen wrench! Set includes a phillips head screwdriver and does take two people to get it assembled.

Solid unit and looks really nice for the price. I did have to contact Tribesigns support for what I thought was a defective piece, but it turned out it wasn’t. Fast friendly replies. I’m very happy overall! Definitely recommended for a desk in this price point.

Well built very solid simple instructions. Looks like it will do what I want. Was also delivered rather quickly

Still waiting for a part for this desk. I can’t honestly write a good review about it because this company sent me two left sides for the keyboard tray. Doesn’t quality control inspect this? I paid to have it assembled and put together.

Called Staples and they were kind enough to take half of the installation cost off because I have to install the correct keyboard side myself if I ever get the part. So kudos to Staples!!.

Assembly is easy, just follow the instructions. ~35 minutes but I wasn’t keeping track. It came with some dings but it did travel from China to my home so that’s understandable. Very minor, maybe 3-4, and you have to catch the light to notice.

Has some putty-type material on it that I assume comes from manufacturing (glue?) but it cleans off very easily. Around the edges of the larger pieces. Holds 2 monitors, the tower, and a laptop comfortably with room to spare, along with all the peripherals.

I didn’t install the riser, but that could come in handy. Has little screw on risers for the feet, if the desk is wobbly you can simply screw them out or in to get it leveled. Very happy with my purchase!.

This desk was not hard to put together though I see how it can be confusing to some. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price! Overall, it looks great. I am impressed with this desk and yes it looks bigger than the picture.

I actually got it sooner than the estimated delivery. If you need a desk with more space and needing space to spread out your books and have a laptop on it, this is the perfect choice.

Its a lot bigger then I thought it would be, which is fine! I had bought two to put together. My husbands going to love his new gaming set up. Having a small desk was not ideal for three monitors. 😀 Assembly was easy, in great condition, and it delivered way earlier then I thought it would.

September 01, 2021. I was astonished to find out at 12 midnight, before I got ready to go to bed, when I checked for the second time today, [online] to see when the desk would arrive for my Son’s Birthday, and.

it said it had arrived?? Last I had checked. about 7pm. it was NOT HERE!! I opened the door to find. It was left. NO KNOCKING. hanging out over the porch. for everyone to see. in the pouring rain. box torn up and dented w/some tape torn off, boxes wet.

w/ some of the contents visible!!! We still don’t know what shape the desk may be in. ??? We will have to wait for tomorrow, till we can begin putting it together. to find out!!?? I am ANGRY. because an item so expensive, [$300.

00+], which cost an additional [$60. 00] to ship. should arrive this way. ??? It’s NOT a ‘perfect gift’ for anyone. if it comes DAMAGED!!! How can I recommend it to ANYONE. if it comes damaged. ??.

The shiny desk material gives laser mice a lot of tracking problems. Nothing a mouse pad didn’t fix but that seems odd for a gaming desk? Still, very easy to put together (easily the best furniture assembly instructions I’ve seen) and solid enough to hold 2 monitors, full sized gaming PC, laptop and speakers, external drives etc.

Overall a great value but the mouse quirk (which seems easily redeigned by the manufacturer?) was quite a surprise.

The desk itself is awesome. Would have been five stars but the packaging was a nightmare. There was a clear film on the wood to protect it but it was difficult to remove and left a VERY sticky residue.

Tried several methods to remove (Dawn, magic eraser) but ended up using WD-40 across the whole table.

There are lots of glass top L shape office desks. I have inspected many of them, none of them looked firm and strong enough to hold the weight on the glass desk top. They looked cute, they were cheap enough to have cheap finish and appearance.

I was specifically looking for a frosted glass top on the L shape desk because it does not show the dust unlike the desks with clear glass tops. This is the L shape desk I have decided to use in my home office, it has good appearance and strong frame to hold enough weight and it is very rigid after installation.

When you order one of these L shape desk with a glass top desks you will receive two boxes, one of them only has the glass and the other one rest of the packages. When you open the box that has the parts don’t get scared with all the parts and screws in it.

Their installation instruction is perfect, you follow it step by stem and you will be able to install it in a very short time. Installation is very simple, just follow the instructions. It is a beautiful desk, worth the money.

I am in the process of turning an extra 10 x 10 room into a home office. I like to buy my furniture before I set the flooring ( I know that sounds weird!) The quality of the desk was a must, especially the size, I didn’t want it to overwhelm the room.

This L shaped glass computer desk was perfect. I fell in love with the soft grey color, very modern with its tempered see through heavy, sturdy glass. I love how I can interchange the longer side of the desk right or left (more info on step #4) It does have a way to lift it an extra inch or two from the bottom at the beginning.

Great if you’re a long leg Louise, otherwise no need to do that, just screw the bottom sliders all the way in. ( step #7) I had a little problem aligning the pre screwed holes at the bottom of the keyboard panel to the actual slider, ugh! But I did it, manually.

I didn’t trusts the power drill to do the work so I used a phillips screw driver and did it by hand. Overall, i am pleased with this purchase. BTW, take advantage of Fingerhuts pay later deals, free shipping, and $100 off on certain amount of purchase, I did!.

From the time I placed my order until the time I received the order was within a week, which, by today’s standards is pretty good. The communication was open, clear, and consistent, which I greatly appreciated.

The packaging it came in was slightly damaged, but the desk itself was in pristine shape, with noticeable quality materials. The desk is surprisingly lightweight for how durable it feels. The assembly was simple and quick.

I had it up within a few hours of receiving it. My only issue with the desk is the monitor stand. Because the monitor stand is easily replaceable for a second monitor stand, or the tablet holder (I chose single monitor with tablet holder), it bounces quite a bit if there’s any serious vibrations nearby.

I have a 6 year old son who likes to do a lot of jumping in the same room as the PC and you can see the shelf shaking a bit with the vibrations. Initially this caused my monitor power cable to shake loose, after putting it back in and ensuring everything was snug and secure, it hasn’t been an issue since.

Overall it’s an outstanding desk, for an outstanding price, from an outstanding company that should pride itself on its communication, as well as it’s timely service.

Sturdy and easy to put together. I really like the table finish, it ha traction so objects do not slide or roll around but is easy to wipe clean. side cup holder is great for keeping drinks accessible but off of work area.

I am not a gamer. I purchased this as a computer desk and like everything about it. Am able to put my desktop computer and lap top on this one desk. Very convenient. Plenty of room to use as a writing desk as well.

Even have room for a desk lamp. Because the desktop computer, laptop, and desk are black, it’s quite attractive. The extensions can be used for purposes other than what a gamer might use them for. It was super easy to put together (put it together myself and I’m 65 ).

Everything fit in place with no problems. I love this computer desk.

My husband assembled and took him about an hour, and looked great in our guest room. Very sturdy, and love the gray black looked to it. I added a little feminine touches to it but overall it’s great! Placed my laptop, daughter’s tablet and hung my headphones to the side compartment.

Overall, it’s great to use if you work from home, my daughters homework or just everyday office and/or desk use.

Great desk, great giant mousepad (resistant to liquid, tested on accident, confirmed), solid construction. Four stars on quality because the desktop portion comes in 2 pieces and there is a seam. Not too bad but mine didn’t line up horizontally.

The right side is lower than the left by about 1/8 inch. A noticeable lip and a pointy edge if you move your hand from left to right underneath. Doesn’t really get in my way, the giant mousepad helps and I never notice it through the mousepad top.

Oh, and I did follow the instructions very closely. Overall, I’m a very cheap person when it comes to my hobbies and this is probably the best desk I’ve owned. Props for the price. TLDR; Besides the 2-piece desktop, great solid basic gaming desk.

Overall, it’s a pretty decent desk that’s in line with what you are paying. It wasn’t hard to put together, though the directions weren’t great. You can’t tell from the pictures, but the top isn’t solid and is 3 individual pieces.

My only complaints are that the cord hole covers broke immediately and the desk pad is super thin (1mm max) and cheap. I would forgo using it, but it hides the small gaps where the top pieces come together.

I have seen many computer desks and I am not very satisfied because I use them to teach children and they are placed in a special position. So after looking for a few comparisons, I still think this one is more suitable.

The price is quite reasonable, and I was a little surprised when I received it because it is of good quality. It also comes with a full-size cushion which is very intimate. I installed it quickly, and simply arranged it as a child’s online class desk.

It is perfect and highly recommended to those parents who have the same situation as me.

This desk was and IS, perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for. The cup holder and the headphone hook are a plus. So is the large mouse pad. Also, let us not forget the elevated part in the back for the monitors, so that you have so much space on the desk.

The lights are a cool plus as well. I don’t really use them, but when I do, it is a pretty cool effect as there are different modes and colors; Last but not least, the only downfall was that the instructions were horrible.

I did have to look at the box it came in, to see how certain parts were supposed to look. Other than the instructions being bad, everything else is all good. I do recommend it. It took me about an hour to do it.

But that is because I wanted things to be precise and wanted to make sure I did not miss any steps or screw anything on incorrectly or in the wrong direction. Having a power tool was a big help in the process as well.

When looking for a new desk to incorporate into our home, my wife and I both looked and liked this desk. The best feature of the desk is it being metal, sturdy, and versatile. We had considered other computer desks, online, but were sold when we saw this in-person in our local Staples store (Leesburg, VA).

The attached shelf is a great plus for placing a second monitor next to our laptop. The included pad is great for both resting a wireless keyboard and makes a great mousepad. The included cup holder is a plus, as well the rest for headphones, as I use my over-ear headphones while listening to videos for my online classes.

I really like these desks so far! My SO and I have two that we’ve put together to form a “T” shape. The desks have been sturdy so far, although one arrived with minor damage at the corner of a couple pieces.

The lighting is great, but the only downside is the cord to connect the lights to a power source is a pretty flimsy attachment. Both of my complaints are pretty minor, and if I could give 4. 5 stars I would.

Fantastic for it’s purpose, though I wish it could be a bit sturdier. It is nice and sturdy until you try to move the desk around. For instance, going from the center of the room during assembly, then move to the corner of the room it is a bit creaky and it concerns me that it could possibly break at the points where the boards screw to the legs.

Given the material of the board, it does not surprise me for it to be a bit weaker. Like I said though, once in place it is great, sturdy, serves it’s purpose well.

I love my desk! The best desk I have ever bought does not take up a lot of space and looks my bedroom looks great, However, I have to change it out now that I need more space. It is great desk but once you start gaming seriously, its not enough room, Also The bar across the middle kinda useless when you have a lumbar on your chair so need more under space.

This table has everything a gamer needs. It has a USB port, lights on the glass (that have different colors, brightness, and patterns), and a drink holder. It was pretty easy to assemble and includes all the tools needed to do so.

It’s also pretty much solid metal and glass. No particle board that I can see that a cheaper table would have. Despite that, it’s not so heavy you can’t move it as needed.
