20 Best Gaming Chair Under $100 (2023 Updated)

Bought this for my 13 year old teenage son to use while playing xbox. It survived 4 months. Last night I took the bottom swivel off to assess the problem and one of the bottom steel braces had snapped where the bolt was.

the rest of the chair still works fine. As a much older. uh 50 adult, I find the chair back uncomfortable but he likes it and how it adjusts. He likes the swivel as well. We both agree it is too low to the ground.

I think if it was 6″ higher it would be much better. It was very easy to setup. The fabric is as good as new after 4 months of constant teenager use. The bottom cushion is thickly padded. I used it for a couple hours over the course of a few days and it helped if I used a thin pillow at the base of my back.

I don’t know if I would recommend this as a gaming chair. The failure in the bottom frame could have been a fluke. I will not be replacing it with another one. I think we will go with one of the curved gaming chairs that are simpler and less to stress under the wild gaming sessions of a teenager.

The chair is nice overall, no assembly is a win for those who do not want to be bothered to do it. The swivel feature is very good also, and its light-weight so that you can move it around without any problems.

I have read the reviews and have taken note of the reclining issue but decided to purchase anyway along with the protection plan. The chair has a weight capacity of over 250 lbs so it should be durable enough for me.

I am 118 pounds, and about 5’3. Although when you sit in it, and start to use the reclining adjustment feature you can tell and or feel where part of the chair other customers are complaining about it reclining and not coming back up.

For some, it may not be durable enough for it to be your “main” chair. But it really still is a good product! Just purchase the protection plan to save yourself the headache later. Just in case.

I’ve had 3 of these, one was a replacement for one first two and they’ve all broken within 6 months. They are comfortable and the swivel feature is nice, but not worth it for that amount of time. If your children are smaller they might last a little longer.

They have all broken in the back, the metal hinge bends over time and won’t straighten or stay up. I thought this was a great “deal” but now frustrated I spent the money and wish I’d gotten them something nicer.

The low quality parts and poor instructions that came with this item are just abysmal. The instructions claim 1 person can easily assemble this item alone. Think again. The screws are EXTREMELY short so there is no way to assemble the item by say, partially screwing them all in and giving some leeway to put in the other screws (then tighten them all once they are in place – many products that require you to assemble them use this method).

This creates too much tension and resistance to place the other screws once you’ve started. We didn’t expect the highest quality at this price point but we did think it would be possible to assemble.

We have two people STILL working on it, we are three hours in and its only half assembled. Only buy this if you have 1-2 people to assist you or someone who is great at assembly and most importantly – that everyone involved possesses the patience of a Saint.

I mean it, you will be begging your God for help as you struggle with this item and the inferior parts provided. We bought a $600 gaming chair awhile back that was far larger with even more assembly required and it was a breeze to put together, took about 15 minutes.

It really comes down to the poor quality of the parts provided, the more we work on it the more I fear it will fall apart when someone sits on it, too. Save yourself and loved ones the headache and buy a better quality item.

Odds are this thing will end up unfinished in a basement, garage, or more likely – your trash bin and never at your computer desk. The trash bin is where it belongs.

I’ve had this chair for a month. This chair makes noise. Whenever I lean back or getup/sit down the chair makes alot of noise. I think that no matter what chair you buy, whether it’s $100+ or $1000, they are bound to make noise eventually.

It’s comfortable. It’s also not bad for the money, as you can easily spend $1000+ on an office chair. You may need assistance putting this chair together as the back and the seat are only connected via the nylon arms.

One side is somewhat easy to attach, but when attaching the other side you may need someone to hold the back and side in place as you attach and screw in the bolts. I bought the slipstick castors for this chair as they are guaranteed not to mark wood floors, but the castors make noise when you move the chair while seated.

I don’t know about the castors that came with the chair, as I never attached them. The chair goes up/down and will lean back as advertised. The adjustment lever on the right side controls up/down and locking/unlocking the lean-back function.

If you sit all the way back in the chair, you can feel some lumbar support, but anyone with lower back issues may want to add additional support. The arms can be raised or lowered to your preference You cant give a partial star so I telling you in my review 3.

It’s a regular wide seat chair with a sporty looking back with no functional improvement over a standard chair. Arm rest flip up, that’s a positive I do like. General build quality is fairly good. The mesh fabric is nicer in that your thighs won’t stick to it when wearing a skirt or shorts.

The mesh fabric also has a longer lifespan vs the bonded or pu leather but comes at the cost of needing more cleaning. (ie. lotion/dirt on your legs rubbing in that you wouldn’t normally *see* on faux leathers) Listed max chair height is listed incorrectly.

I partially bought it partially based on max height to match a second chair I previously had only to find out this chair tops out at 43 Inches instead of the listed 46. 25. Something to note: the seat is 20 inches from stitch to stitch.

It’s a nice looking chair but ultimately isn’t worth more than a comparative $60 non-gaming chair. I can’t recommend it or tell you to avoid. It’s up to you if it’s worth >$30 for the look. (We got the pink style which is somewhat rarer in the gaming chair field.

This product is cheaper elsewhere and listed at a lower normal price as well. It came with part “6” the little plastic that covers the base already broken and had to order a replacement because you cannot return these things.

This chair will lean back slightly it does not lock in place like most gaming chairs. The padding is about average, majority lightweight plastic, and looks like it would be more comfortable than it is.

The way it’s built the arms were really difficult to get lined up and put on during installation. Mine didn’t come with the boat covers that it’s supposed to have but you really don’t notice that. It also does not recline.

But it does look nice and it is comfortable to sit in. Not bad for the price I paid.

Easy to assemble. One of the screw holes to attach the arm to the chair did not align so well, so pretty much had to cross thread the screw to get it in. Other than that the chair is comfortable and the camo color was a cool option.

Chair was in good condition when it got here and has held up fairly well after roughly a month of use. The armrests and main cushion have already started to flatten quite a bit. There’s also a horrible creaking and squeaking that has already started to happen with my chair, which, is kind of irritating when trying to adjust.

It’s pretty obnoxious. Hopefully I can possibly fix that. Chair is decent, comfortable aside from the issues Ive encountered. Nicer cheap alternative to those insanely expensive racer chairs.

Very pleased with this chair. The quality is in line with more expensive chairs. Impressed. Packaging: This is the only area I think that this could be improved, but overall, the chair arrived in perfect condition.

Build: I really appreciate simple directions. Everything is marked and numbered. Assembly took about 30 minutes. Materials: No strange smells associated with cheaper products I have purchased in the past from any outgassing.

Casters reminded me of more expensive office chairs, very solid. A lot of attention to aesthetics for the trim and screw covers. Comfort: My wife loves this chair. There is a lot of adjustment (Up, down, locking back to your position).

The cushion is very comforting. We also like how you can move the arms up, a feature that we did not ever look for in a chair, but appreciate.

I have been using this chair for about a week and a half now and I have to say that I really enjoy how comfortable it is. The feature of the adjustable arms comes in handy when I pull up to my PC desk and want to push in close.

I will say that when it arrived one of the arm rests had been packed a bit to tight and had a bit of a void in the foam. After about a week it almost came back to normal but you can still feel a subtle void.

Lastly, assembly was not as easy as I expected as the arms of the chair are what connect the seat to the back and I found it a bit difficult to line up the holes properly. Took me about an hour to assemble and probably should have taken about 15 minutes.

I ordered two of these. One for my husband and one for myself. So far, they are perfect for our needs. Tilt is good for him, where I prefer to keep mine stable. The weight holds well even with kids crawling onto us.

They are comfortable and we have fewer problems with the feeling of our feet falling asleep after sitting/gaming for long periods. They roll easily. We saw the comments about the instructions being not easy to understand.

It is a single page of extremely simplistic images of the letter pieces arrowed together. I can understand that for anyone who is new to putting an office or gaming chair together this would be frustrating.

However, if you have done it in the past, it is most likely going to be straight-forward and nothing special or out of the ordinary to any other chair. All of the bolts are one size that minimizes that complication and the bottom of the seat and the attachment have stickers that say front so you know those are in the correct direction.

I got white, which now I realize may have been a mistake with little ones in the house. That at this point in time would be my single complaint. But that is my mistake. They are not difficult to clean though.

Very cheap and low quality. Extremely uncomfortable to sit in after a few hours. Practically no padding to sit on. I needed a chair and hoped this would work, but it’s pretty terrible. Should have bought one in person after testing it out.

Assembly was difficult. Do not buy this chair.

I spent some time looking for a chair with everything this chair has. Reclining? Check. Footrest? Check. Lumbar support? Check. It was easy to assemble. Didn’t expect to use the neck rest. I’m 5’2″ ~140lbs and have a bad back, the lumbar and neck cushion are easily adjustable to a comfortable place.

The massage feature is okay, I don’t think I’ll use it much though. The cable is a USB cable that is about 4′ long. There’s a pocket underneath the seat that I think is meant to hold a battery pack? But that sounds like extra steps and I just need the cushion.

The massage cushion has one button to turn it on/off but the vibrations do vary every 10-15 seconds so that it doesn’t get too stale I guess. It definitely smells like a new imitation leather chair. I’m sure the smell will go away or I’ll stop noticing it.

But if you are sensitive to smells I would keep that in mind. I Love that the leg rest folds under, I can put it up and wheel the chair to another room if I want. The leg rest is sturdy enough but I don’t think it would hold up to a kid playing on it.

I would buy this chair again even between a $600 real leather chair because it has great support where I need it. I like it.

I’m glad I got it on sale. Not at all worth the original sale price. Instructions for assembling were horrible. I ended up watching a YouTube video of a similar chair being assembled to figure out the steps that the instructions were not clear on.

Chair is overall an okay chair. Very average. I won’t purchase another.

This gaming chair is perfect for my little 11 yo gamer. We did take the leg extension off for now. As he gets bigger, he may decide that he likes it. Shipping was very fast. The quality seems pretty good so far.

Not going to lie, its a pain to attach the back to the seating area. Otherwise it’s a great chair.

I have had this chair for a couple of weeks. It was very easy to assemble. The directions are clear and concise. The design is a simple one. The leaver on the chair that raises or lowers the chair is a simple metal bar that pushes a valve on top of the piston lift or lower.

The armrest is where things go a little off the mark. The armrest is 2D, it will lift or lower on each side. They will also twist, This is where I think we need some work. When I move out of my chair the armrest move and twist in an odd position, that I have to move back to its normal position before I can sit back down.

I love this chair alot but the arm rests rotate way to easy, putting weight on to them while standing up it’s rotated to the side and I’ve almost fallen a couple times. I’ve gotten used to it now but it’s still a bit annoying having to rotate them back after accidentally leaning on them.

Still love my chair though super comfortable and I can sit in it for about 14+ hrs before my back or butt starts to hurt. Honestly recommend this chair. But if you sit weird like me the loose arm rests may get a bit annoying.

I bought this around Christmas time. I use this chair every night to play with my son that’s in VA. This chair is key to me spending time with my son. Today I was playing the ps5 with him. I had been sitting in it for about 30 minutes, just as I always do.

Next thing I know I hear a loud POP and I’m half way on the floor. This chair has been adult owned and ABSOLUTELY no abuse, playing, twisting around, jumping, laying back really hard has been done in it.

The part that connects the back to the seat is cheap plastic and cracked clean at where the bolt goes in. I am truly heartbroken over this chair. I broke down and bout it at the beginning cause I have a bad bad.

It was ok till today and out of nowhere it’s all gone now and they won’t do anything about it! Shame on you staples.

Well it’s been about 2 months since I received this chair so I can finally write something about it. I bought this based off reviews and price as many would/will. I’m fairly convinced now most reviewers were given this chair to review and didn’t actually purchase it, looking back too many reviews were too good to be true and sadly they were.

To start off I’m 6′ 200lbs which is well under their weight rating, and yes the chair was comfortable the first few weeks. Sadly this was short lived as the padding has already broken down on the seat and all you can feel is the seat base underneath.

To make things worse the seat base has some bump or buldge in the center that if you sit wrong will line up perfectly with your tail bone. Build quality is decent enough for a $100ish chair, but it constantly feels loose even with everything tightened up.

The plastic is reminiscent of early 90’s American car interiors, with a cheap and impressively plastic feel. If you’re WFH or a Gamer logging serious hours in a chair don’t cheap out and look elsewhere, otherwise you’ll have plenty of time to sulk in your regret while you lie awake in bed with back pain.

At this point I’m past returning the chair so I guess I’ll give it to my kid who is far lighter and won’t have the padding issues. I already bit the bullet and ordered a Secret Labs Titan to replace this cheapo chair.

The chair is very comfortable. It is nice and wide and has plenty of padding. The lumbar support is perfectly sized and at a comfortable height. The materials are good quality, even the plastic parts.

The rough fabric might feel little weird at first, but is very easy to get used to. As a programmer I can say that sitting in this chair even for hours at a time is not a problem. It looks very stylish, despite being geared towards gamers.

I love that the arms can be folded up so they are not in the way when storing it away under a table, or when playing guitar. More chairs should have this feature. The assembly was not too easy, but still perfectly doable alone in ~20 minutes.

I would get some help when attaching the back though. Including some spare screws and screw caps was a nice touch. As far as the flaws go, I’d like for the back to also be able to tilt backwards, but it’s not a real issue, as I rarely need to do this anyway.

One of the arms requires a little more force to be moved than the other one, but this should easily be fixable by tightening or loosening the screws. Finally, at 5’9″ I cannot fully rest my head on the headrest, the back is just a tad too short.

Overall, a good looking and comfortable chair with only small issues. I like it so far. If my opinion should change, I will be sure to update the review.

I own two companies so I am behind a desk all day everyday. My previous chair gave me some severe back pains after working for 18 hours straight. I was a little apprehensive about buying this chair since it is all leather but I am glad to say it does not retain much heat while sitting in it.

I especially love the lumbar support pillow. I really like how adjustable it is, from the elbow support, to the back dropping back nearly parallel to the floor. My only gripe is I wish the head rest pillow was adjustable so I could latch it to the 2 holes near the head of the chair and so I could drop it by about 2 inches.

I find myself manually pulling it down when I lean forward which can get annoying when shifting. But all together it is a great product and I wish I bought it years sooner!.

This is the first “Gaming” chair that I’ve bought and I’ve had the chair for about a month as of this writing. Having seen the chair on display at Micro Center, it’s apparent that it’s a high quality chair with durability in mind.

The metal base of the chair is much stronger than plastic or wood found in most office chairs. The chair comes with optional back and neck support pillows, which are a nice addition for those who wish to have additional support.

Overall, this is like a very nice leather chair in a luxury vehicle minus any heating or cooling. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re willing to make the financial investment into a chair that’ll likely last you half a decade or so.

I have been using this chair for a couple of years and use it for hours in a day. My chair just started having a weird hydraulic collapse but my guess is I had been keeping it at the lowest level this entire time and just started to sit with it raised.

(I am an average sized female so not weight bearing issue). This purchase was for my husband and he has found it very comfortable that he’s replaced it for his work chair (2 different stations for work and gaming) as he spends more time at that desk.

He’s heavier than I am and has not issue with sinking or other lift issues. He loves it. :).

I am 6″2″ and weight over 250 lbs. Other similar chairs lasted a few months before breaking down. I have now had this chair almost a year and it’s still feels like new. I am a programmer and spend hours and hours every day in the chair.

a Fantastic chair the height is perfect as are the padded arms. i bought this chair because of how the arms are made. high enough and curved just right to rest your elbows on it. very important as a older PC user to have proper rest for your arms.

tendonitis was starting in my left arm from no rest for my elbow to sit on.

I bought this chair for my son who is doing virtual learning and who is also a gamer. I really like the chair, but I only gave it four stars because my son said that he wish the back was higher. To me it was fine, but I don’t sit it in all day.

I bought this online, having never seen one, solely based on reviews on all the sites that sell them. I had my finger posed on the order button on another site, for $ 103. 00 MORE than here. So I was happy to get a bargain.

But even if I paid full price, it is worth every cent. Like most I can’t believe I spent this on a chair, but I would buy ten more just like it if I needed them. Rugged, good looks, and it’s not a chair, it’s an experience.

The arm rests do everything but fetch you a snack. I never thought I would sue lumbar and neck pillows. Figured they would be useless and cheap. Quite the contrary, they make this chair what it is, well, they help a lot.

As you put it together you can tell you are working with a quality product. For starters, the base that the wheels are on is STEEL, not plastic. I have had this chair only a few days, but I can tell it’s going to hold up and last a good long time.

I am very much enjoying this chair so far. I’m a petite woman, 5’5″ and 135 lbs, so I was searching for a chair that would be comfortable for my size and that didn’t necessarily look like the standard gaming chair — my gaming PC is hideous enough, so I at least wanted a sleek and subtly beautiful chair.

This chair is gorgeous and bright, exactly the opposite of some of the black and red nightmares on the market (sorry to the people who are into those, but we all have our preferences). This chair just looks GOOD.

It also feels good. It’s so comfortable that one of my cats obsessively breaks into my office just to sit in this chair, so I keep a towel over it to prevent claw damage. Tip for assembly: If you’re flying solo, when you go to assemble the back of the chair to the seat, slide your free hand under the seat back, wedging it between the seat back and the chair seat.

This tiny lift will relieve pressure from the weight of the seat back on the screw you’re trying to tighten, making it a lot easier and quicker to tighten them. One caveat: While the arms of this chair are 4D, the inward dimensional movement is only about an inch.

For petite people like me: You will not be able to get the arm rests directly under your shoulders for maximum comfort. This is due to how wide the base of the chair is. The arms of the chair will not get close enough to your body.

Personally, I am Bisexual Person Sitting in Chair meme, so I like the wide seat base because it’s way too much room for my butt but perfect for curling my legs up. But if you are a smol person reading reviews and hoping that this chair will finally give you the armrest position of your dreams, it won’t.

Only a chair with a petite seat base will do that, but then problems comes in when your hips (seat base measurement) are wider than your ideal shoulders/elbows (armrest position). Your arms will be comfortable, but your hips will be jammed against the bar that connects the arm rest to the seat.

Go ahead and pick a chair that meets all your other parameters, then look into articulating arm rests that attach to your desk. They come with the benefit of moving with your arm as you go from mouse to keyboard, and they don’t interfere with how close you move your chair to your desk or what height you set your chair to.

I got my boyfriend a chair for Christmas last year and decided it was time for me to upgrade to a gaming chair as well (plus, I was jealous because his was so comfy). My chair came super fast, much faster than his did around Christmas time (which makes sense).

I love the colours and it feels super high quality. My boyfriend said it was pretty easy to put together, took him less than an hour. It is very heavy though, so use your muscles! Overall I highly recommend this to someone looking for a nice looking, comfy chair.

It is a bit pricey but remember you are paying for the quality of the product, it will definitely last a long time.

I was looking for a chair that wasent all pink and black, and was so happy when I found this one. The design and white base are super light and beautiful and the trim is so unique! Considering it’s super amazing look, it’s also extreamly comfortable, a nice size too lots of room for different positions to sit! The stitching is super detailed and beautiful aswell.

Building it was very straight forward and shipping was super fast once it came in stock! Honestly I love it a lot. I have weak bones and sitting for long times usually hurt my body but this chair I can adjust and sit alot longer and more comfortably! The only thing I don’t Love is you have to be a bit careful with the arms that adjust outward and inward as they are a bit sensitive to pressure and move easily at times.

But that’s honestly the only thing I don’t love. Seriously great chair and super unique and comfortable. Highly recommend :).

I bought this for a gift, they love it and it is very comfy. When it arrived the box was torn a good bit and we found out there were some missing pieces that must’ve fallen out. I do wish there had been more bubble wrap or something to protect it more.

A few nicks in the fabric. However I am very impressed with the customer service. They replied quickly and shipped the missing pieces and were very easy to contact. Because of how the situation was handled I’d definitely buy more products from their brand.

I am in LOVE with this chair. The aesthetic colour scheme, the comfort, the features. At first I thought it was kinda pricey but its so worth it. It came with 2 pillows, a stuffed animal, and even a gaming/mouse pad.

It has airplane type arm rests but theyre pretty comfy. The trim is holographic and the top pillow is reversible so one side is purple and one is white and it has a strap buckle that attaches it to the top of the chair.

The chair has a reclining feature to about 160 degrees, not quite 180 but still very nice. The wheels go 360 and they dont get caught on anything. All the hardware has white plastic covers so it still looks very nice.

The seat and arm height are also adjustable. Surprisingly quick and easy to build as well!! I highly recommend it honestly. Despite other reviews mine came clean and packaged well in plastic brand new.

My 15 year old son used his money to buy the chair, and assembled the chair himself. I noticed after only a couple months, the seat where the leather is at is lumpy underneath. The mesh in the middle of the seat is still in good condition, but all around the sides is lumpy.

Not really visible. can’t tell unless you press on it. My son said it started happening about a month into having the chair, and said it’s not that bothersome when sitting down. Still a little upsetting that the seat which, in my opinion, is one of the most important parts of the chair, started declining after only a month of use.

Although the seat is still stable, it gets 3 stars for developing lumps after 3 months. Claimed to be a gaming/office chair, which most people sit in for several hours daily. So the seat definitely shouldn’t decline in quality after only a month of daily use.

My son loves his new chair. Easy to put together. Great color. I wish the chair leaned back a bit as the back is rather upright. Kiddo loves it though, so we’re happy with this purchase.

So far we are very happy with the chair. I would like to see a sturdier base, however it works fine for what we need it for. Everything else works beautifully and it looks sharp! Would recommend.

This isn’t a terrible chair, but it’s definitely not for console gaming. This is a desk chair, the arms arr not particularly supportive and the padding of the seat is a little thin. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10.

I’ve first owned an AK Racing brand and then some other smaller brand before this Arozzi. The AK Racing was similar quality, but I replaced it because the bucket style seat really hurt my wider butt.

Also it was a kind of cloth material rather that faux leather, which collected cat hair like nothing else. The other brand was non-bucket seat, but got extremely squeaky and the hydraulic failed within a couple years.

This brand is the best of both. Be aware that all these gaming chairs are a bit difficult to assemble yourself, but far better than the off brand which had its screw holes recessed and very hard to line up.

Just get someone to help hold the pieces while you screw it together.

Okay the chair feels good, but only if assembly is possible. I would give a 10/10 on assembly difficulty due to very poor design on the arm rests and chair. You will need a team of at least 4. One to screw in, one to use lots of strength holding the chair in place so the screws fit perfectly, one to hold a flashlight the make sure holes are perfectly aligned, and the other as a substitute when someone from the assembly team gets tired.

DO NOT BUY THIS THING IF YOU LIVE ALONE, AGAIN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ASSEMBLE BY YOURSELF. It just cannot be done. Assembly time, took about 9 hours. I had to wait for friends to come over and assist me.

They agreed that this thing was badly designed for assembly. Hydrate before putting this thing together. After a work day + overtime for assembly, I suppose the chair is comfortable enough. 9/10 on comfort.

At first I though this was a Great chair but its NOT first and foremost they are using the cheapest foam in the arm wrests and the seat after the first two months of me barley resting my arm on the arm rest the foam has flattened and now all I feel are the screws coming up from the bottom of the arm rest.

The seat foam too was very firm and hard when I first got it but eventually it also sufferers from permanent deformation and flattening. The lumbar pillow also does not stay in place and constantly slides up your back and has to be readjusted all the time.

I would never buy anything Arozzi nor do I recommend trusting this company.

Nice chair. The footstool prevents your legs from naturally laying levely. I would not ourchase this chair again.
