Best Gamecube Emulator For Pc (2026 Updated)

Like the other reviewer stated, it shipped out super fast and before the estimated pre order ship date. Great hdmi adapter that gets what I assume is the best possible video quality out of the GC without mods.

Pairing it with the MClassic adapter makes it look even better. Some people I guess have sound issues with these type of adapters, but I encountered nothing like that in my setup. The UI is great with many customization options (scanlines, aspect ratio, colors and brightness, etc.

) that you can individually apply to different output resolutions, or to all at once. After buying this, I see no need to get the much more expensive EON adapter when the video is identical to my eyes.

Let’s start of by how surprised I was that my order came quicker than the estimated date on the preorder page. Once I plugged in the adapter and set it up to my liking. I was amazed how much better the video quality was compared to the av cords that come with the Nintendo Gamecube.

The sound quality was great, no lag, and it works great with the wavebird controller. I’m a do some more testing, but I tested it out with F-Zero GX and had no issues with the game at all.

Shipping was quick and the adapter has well my expectations! I’m very pleased with the clarity of the output image and the level of control offered in the UI.

This game is actually very fun. Never thought I would get hooked on this fighting game. Especially since this game has Link from The Legend of Zelda on the front cover and is a playable character. This seems to make the GameCube version the definitive version to play Soul Calibur II.

If you are into fighting games, I would recommend this game to your GameCube library.

This particular version of Soul Calibur is a classic and infamously unbalanced due to the inclusion of Link from the Legend of Zelda. The game itself is a masterwork of the genre and still holds up well today.

The characters drive it and the mechanics are considered the best in the franchise. In short, it’s a good game. Not the most accessable to play as in getting the version to do so but actually playing is fun.

The game came in great condition, the case was awesome, and the shipping was quick. As for the game, being able to own and play one of the greatest fighting titles of all time is surreal and nostalgic.

Link is is still my favorite character haha.

This is a truly great game. Although all the Prime entries are excellent, this one shines. It perfectly encapsulates the eery ambience that is typical of Metroid games but also has amazing, addictive gameplay.

I have been avoiding this game forever and now I know why. Metroid Prime 2 was basically sported as an orginal game by Retro Studios compared the last game. Meaning Retro was able to make there own story using the Metroid Universe.

Like the last game, a meteorite struck the planet and the ( Unmentioned ) Chrozo race on the planet are constantly at war with the beings that created a mirror of this planet. You basically just want to get off the planet, but you can’t until you have solved the mystery of this world.

Meanwhile Black Samus ( AKA Metroid Prime leftovers using Phanzon suit ) hopped a ride via a space pirate ship and caused the galactic federation unit to follow it down to the planet. Thus causing you to follow the unit.

To make things even funnier about this game; they some how allowed for your suit to become stolen by black Samus; just by touring the dark world. This holds no flame to the previous game. This entire game is basically smoke and mirrors.

Remember the intro to FFX? This is basically the same thing. For the person who wants more Metroid from Nintendo and not an fan made game. For some reason I think a fan made Metroid ( any fan made game ) would be better then this game.

In fact this game is probably better then “Other-M” which butchered the Samus character. I just hope I could fight more Space Pirates and not weird looking creatures that are bland. I also do not like how they showed more of Samus face in the visor.

This game is basically and add-on to the last game. Will we fight Ridley as in the last game? Is there an mother brain clone in this game? When do we get to the Space Pirates, no really when??? Why is it when I fall off an cliff, I magically regenerate and not just get transported to another area ( like the cliff I fell from ).

Sometimes there are doors in this game that you walk through without warning so be careful of the path you use. What really bothers me is how the entire world is shrunken down to size. Of course I am talking about the doors.

What is really funny about this game, while it is basically what I want ( MORE 3D METROID GAMING ). It is really really funny how the cover of this game have an holographic reflective look. Because without that, the cover looks like an futuristic sterling, euro, dollar bill or an id card.

Otherwise I will have to see how this game goes along.

While it’s ridiculously hard to follow up the original Metroid Prime, this game does it pretty darn well. Super engaging with some incredible boss fights. The new locations are welcome additions to the Metroid universe.

I bought this particular product to use Gamecube controllers for the Dolphin emulator on PC. I’m happy to say that this product works perfectly for that purpose, after a custom USB installation.

This is a good item for anyone that prefers a more traditional way of playing smash. I even use it for Mario kart.

Works great. Easy to hook up and use. Watch out for scalpers and fakes though.

I’ve tried this adapter on both Linux (Kernel 5. 4. 34) and Windows 10, and while it works perfectly out of the box on Linux (Both PC mode, and Wii U mode with Dolphin), there’s one small issue with it on Windows 10.

While PC mode works fine on Windows 10, Wii U mode doesn’t work out of the box. This can be fixed using Zadig to install the proper driver, following the documentation from Dolphin Wiki (Just Google search “how-use-official-gc-controller-adapter-wii-u Windows” without quotes, and go to the dolphin-emu website).

Once this is done, Wii U mode works flawlessly on Windows 10, and should work similarly on any Windows version that still supports the Dolphin emulator. The only other thing you should do is set proper deadzones, as the adapter won’t do this for you, and even good quality Gamecube controllers can benifit from calibration.

On Linux, this is pretty difficult (Too complicated to go over in a single review), but possible for both the Joystick API and evdev, as I’ve done it myself. On Windows, this can easily be done from the configuration panel, by navigating to Hardware and Sound, then to Devices and Printers (With the adapter and controller plugged in, set to PC mode), then right click on the controller, and click on Game controller settings.

From here, click properties, and in the settings tab, click the calibrate button. The rest is handled by a very self explanatory setup wizard. All in all, this is absolutely perfect if you want a good controller for your PC, but don’t want to buy something cheap and nasty, or expensive.

Using a Gamecube controller with Dolphin to play Kirby Air Ride felt exactly as I remembered the game feeling on the original hardware, minus the increased resolution, and widescreen. This is absolutely worth it if you have a Gamecube controller, and it’s worth buying a second hand controller with this if you don’t have one.

Overall, buy it, just buy it.

I thought this was a great idea so I bought 4. I can’t recommend these. They are too unreliable. Inputs get missed. They are 100% unusable with Wavebird controllers because the intermittent connecting and disconnecting will cause unmanageable analog stick input drift.

They are sort of usable with a wired Gamecube controller, but they have problems there too.

A major alternative if you don’t want to buy the official adapter. It is pretty much plastic, but it gets the job done and gets it done well. My only complaint is it doesn’t have anything to compensate for the lack of buttons if you do plan on playing on the switch.

It’s also great for pc. The port for the controller fits well and it does support rumble. Shipping was fast and reliable. The latency was not noticeable. All in all a great product, I’d totally recommend it.

Both Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters Future Perfect are the true successors of Goldeneye 007. The game play is amazing. Smooth dynamics, and the beautifully rendered physics of the weapons in the game, make for an enjoyable playing experience.

Timesplitters Future Perfect has a perfect blend of zany comedy and underlying tones of darkness sprinkled through out the game. it’s an action packed thrill ride that takes you on a journey through haunted, zombie infested dwellings, futuristic war torn cities and various challenges like monkey curling, death matches and cat racing! Free Radical went above and beyond when they created the Timesplitters series.

If you’ve ever played Goldeneye 007 or Perfect Dark, you’ll see the similarities right away. Highly recommended!.

When I was younger, my little brother and I would spend literally years playing this game! Such a classic! Now that I am older I wanted to experience that same feeling again but unfortunately my copy is long gone.

This was a great buy! Fast shipping! Super good condition! Had a blast playing through it again! Using HD component cables on my PS2 slim really makes this game look great on any HDTV! Also runs perfectly on first generation PS3.

A classic game that I love from my childhood the gameplay mostly works but some of the characters in campaign levels are just solid black silhouettes. Theyre there and you can kill them and progress but you cannot see their intended design just solid black.

It kind of kills the mood and setting but still fun and nostalgic.

There is a lot to PN03 that on initial glance one might miss. The awkward controls hide a depth behind it which asks you to groove to the music, shoot, doge and repeat. A lot of the elements present here went on to birth the best games that came out of Capcom and Director Shinji Mikami.

The character animation is on another level- oozes with personality each time you shoot, dodge, or do an eye catching super move. Lead character Venessa Schneider is constantly dancing to the stage music- dodging enemy fire and looking cooler than anything in recent memory.

It’s a clunky beautiful concept of a game that is sure to stick with you long after the credits roll. Each room clearing move and suit upgrade is a visual treat and all the points you manage to rack up during the game actually come in handy in purchasing suits and upgrades.

The more you upgrade the more your character dances and twerks. Unique, catchy, beautiful, PN03 is something wonderful if you give it a fair chance.

P. N. 03 is not for everyone, because it’s a very different kind of game. It plays like a third-person arcade shooter but with tank-like controls for the main character. You can’t shoot while moving, and the gameplay is mostly about timing and acrobatics; dodge enemy fire, attack, and chain combos.

It almost feels like controlling a character from the Matrix or Equilibrium films. P. N. 03 isn’t like a lot of shooter games where you can just rush in and blast through stages. But once you get used to the controls and odd way of playing, it’s very fun and addicting.

There are lots of things to unlock and many stages to complete. The cutscenes are humorous and blessedly short. There are a few downsides to the game. The areas all look pretty similar and are very linear, with some backtracking involved.

The music is ambient techno; a couple tracks are great but most of it is generic and repetitive. Some of the unlockables are too expensive, yet are required to progress properly, forcing you to go back and complete training missions to earn more points.

Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for an oddball GameCube game to add to their library.

No matter how much I look at a game systems library, there are always a few games that seem to pop up out of nowhere. When looking at potential games for my Gamecube, I noticed a game called P. N. 03.

I have never heard about it before. I admit that my knowledge of the GameCubes library isnt as adept as the PlayStation 2s or Xboxs, but I thought I saw most of the games available for it. Since my curiosity was peaked and someone was selling one in decent condition for a decent price, I thought I would pick it up.

Though not really a stand out game (which might explain why I never heard of it) it offered enough to keep me playing. Visually, P. N. 03 is running about average. The backgrounds are adequately detailed, but the levels look very much alike.

It is a very sterile environment, but considering it takes place on a different planet and in the future, that doesnt seem too far fetched. Sadly, the enemies took the same design cues from the levels and look pretty generic.

You fight mostly robotic enemies, but their designs are uninspired and repetitive. Fortunately, the female protagonist is modeled well and is nice to look at. Her outfits are skintight, but are as detailed as everything else in the game.

For people who like to ogle rendered female bodies, she will not disappoint. Sound wise, P. N. 03 is average. The music has a futuristic, spacey, techno sound that is unremarkable, but does add to the ambience.

Most of the effects are you shooting your palm rays and the resulting explosions of vanquished enemies. You are not going to be blown away by the sounds, but they do their job, which isnt a bad thing.

P. N. 03 does add a little twist when it comes to game play. Most of your defensive tactics comprise of dodging enemy fire by moving left or right. You can also utilize cover. It does take a little time to get used to this control scheme, but it does work well once you get it down.

Along with the level and enemy design, the game is pretty repetitious and can be tedious. Since everything looks the same, you really dont get much of a sense of progress. Earning enough points to purchase better equipment is and feels like a chore.

You will be putting in quite a bit of time if you want to buy everything in the game. P. N. 03, by all intents and purposes, is unremarkable. Nothing really makes it stand out. It is a decent game that will provide some enjoyment.

Once I put it away and move on to my other games in my library, I am sure P. N. 03 wont pop into my head unless I am browsing through my spreadsheet where I cataloged all my games.

I used to play this game all the time when I was 11. Playing it again last night made me realize that, while it’s not as perfect as I remember it to be, it’s still really great. The graphics haven’t aged that badly, considering it came from the Gamecube / Dreamcast era of games.

It has online gameplay (though I’m sure the official servers are shut down by now, even assuming that you have the rare ability to connect your Gamecube to the internet), but the real star of the show is local multiplayer.

Yes, it has the ability to let you play the online multiplayer mode, locally, with up to four players via split-screen. Still one of my favorite features. The difficulty scales per player, providing better loot and EXP the more players are playing at the same time, and also ramps up enemy damage output and HP.

This game is definitely one of my favorite Action RPGs!.

I had this game probably 10 years ago and remember playing it with 3 friends constantly on a 20 inch screen. Seeing it on a real tv is amazing and I’m so glad I found it again. I don’t know when Monster Hunter first existed, but, now that I’ve played both this and that, the gameplay seems similar in a lot of respects.

Get Quest. Do Quest. Turn in Quest. Repeat. Combat is stilted, but intentionally, to make you focus on timing and accuracy. It obviously looks a lot worse, relatively, than it used to and being on a much larger screen doesn’t help that, but it could be a lot worse and I’d be willing to admit that nostalgia makes it very bearable.

The game is amazing. It’s a classic Dungeon Crawler/MMORPG, but offline. 3 classes, 2 races, 2 genders, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I bought this as a nostalgia episode, but it’s made my Gamecube the main event.

It’s repition value would seem boring, as there are only 8 levels in all, 4 to each Episode, but there’s nothing boring about it. It comes with a progression system also. 4 levels in total, each one becoming unlocked by completing the previous (For Episode 1, it goes: Forest, Cave, Mine, Ruin.

Episode 2; VR Temple, VR Spaceship, Central Control Area, Seabed) Once you have completed all 4 on one difficulty, you unlock the next, going from Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Ultimate. The levels each do take some time though.

The quickest is Forest. If you’re the appropriate level in average gear, it can take between 30-45 minutes. That’s its strength and its weakness. Great time consumer, but it’s not a game you play casually.

With your own Mag, a little helper you feed and take care of in return for occasional bonuses, serious stat increases and a powerful, overdrive move, you have 200 levels of monster slaying, magic flinging, trap laying mayhem that never gets old.

Great product, works as advertised. Occasional errors with drift resolved by unplugging and replugging controllers. Have not tested with PC yet, only switch. Worked when playing Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D All-Stars (used for a more genuine Sunshine experience!), and Stardew Valley.

Doesn’t work with official wavebird controllers on Switch, which is the main reason I bought it. With that feature missing, definitely not worth $20.

All is great, got to talk to a fellow smasher who worked at my center and he knew right where this was. Been using it for a while and it does everything it says it does, working perfectly for my switch and emulators.

Heh. So yeah. By the title of my review, you can deduce that I had a tendency to yeet enemies off ledges when I could when I was a kid. Kinda messed up when I look back on that. It’s also really uncharacteristic for Spiderman to see enemies fall to their dooms at the bottom of the concrete jungle he protects.

From what I remember, I enjoyed this game when I was smaller. So I’m happy to have this game back in my library.

Like spiderman but felt like you spend alot of time going from building to building and not seeing any enemys. But it has good graphics and you get to swing like spiderman. It was a good price and it shipped fast.

Dk oldies does good job of cleaning and getting the disc in good shape. I like shopping at dkoldies. I love there videos on facebook too.

We have an old GameCube that we set back up so that our son can start playing video games. He LOVES Spider-Man and this game hit the mark! The only complaint that I have is that it’s pretty dark—I increased the brightness on the tv, but it’s still pretty dark….

it seems like most of the GameCube games are like that on our newer lcd tv.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours grinding Pac-Man Fever tech skill and got overtaken as the best in the world. It’s a fun, but hard and unforgiving game to play optimally.

Love playing this with family & spending time together. The mini games keep us entertained

This is the best game ever! It is so creative and goes past the movie! You basically use golf clubs to whack rats and moles until you finish the levels but there are thing to do like protect Ozzie to get the food back in the wagon and get the wagon over the hedge! There are a bunch of fun minigames too!.

DreamWorks Animation is truly pushing the CGI limits in their soon-to-be-released feature film Over the Hedge. Realistic fur animations, sophisticated voice synching, and astronomical poly counts are just a few of the aspects that will make Over the Hedge a technological marvel when it hits theatres.

But technologically advanced CGI films dont fill movie theatre seats. Were talking in the mind of a ten year old here, so Over the Hedges ultimate success lies largely in the hands, er, paws of its talking animal characters.

Whether hand drawn on thousands of cells or mocked up in Maya, the bottom line is that the characters have to come to life and burst with personality for kids to enjoy. Same goes for the video game industry too.

If an E or E10+ title doesnt have a strong player character that the kiddie gamer can identify with, expect more entertainment value out of the box than the actual game in the Xbox. Activisions Over the Hedge for the previous-gen Xbox allows kiddie gamers and their parents to interact with the entire cast of the film, while at the same time exercising their brains a bit as a tandem.

But is there enough kudzu here to chew on; enough to keep a finicky young mind occupied for hours on end?.

My son (and I) are CRAZY about this game! I had ordered a bunch of “Rated E for Everyone” PlayStation 2 games for him after winning a PlayStation 2 Gaming System on eBay. My son is 6, so we (of course) do not get the types of games you would get for a teenager.

I needed a fun and young (but not boring) game for a young gamer. This “Over The Hedge” PlayStation 2 game is adorable! It’s not too young (so it doesn’t bore him), but it’s not so old that he’s exposed to negative things.

The little characters from the movie. RJ, Vern, Hammy, etc. (you can pick which character you want to be!) run around stealing. ummm. “gathering” food from the neighborhood over the hedge. They go in Gladys’ house, Gladys’ backyard, and other places, all the time having to avoid laser beams and animal traps.

there’s even one part where you go in and rescue all the other characters from the exterminator’s cage after he has caught them. There’s a cute narrative throughout, in between all the tasks you have to do, and when you do something well, there are lots of “good jobs” and “way to go’s” and such.

My son has STILL not gotten tired of this game after months and months of playing it, probably because there are so many different places to go and tasks to achieve within the game. plus, you can be a different character each time.

I am SO pleased with this game, which I would highly recommend for all young gamers. I think girls would even enjoy it as well.

There were only two issues with this controller, but one made it pretty much unusable for basic gameplay. The minor problem was that the L button didn’t have that click when fully pressed down. Just felt weird, but it worked.

The major problem, and why I returned it, is that the left control stick calibration was severely messed up. Moving the stick straight to the side either way registered with a slight upward movement and the sensitivity was horrendous.

Moving the stick about 30% in any direction (not even halfway of the full range of movement) registered as if the stick was fully moved in the direction it was tilted. This MIGHT be fine for some games but for anything requiring any form of precise control (f-zero gx for example), this controller is completely unacceptable.

A great price for an overall great product. Much less expensive than an official Gamecube controller. There really is no difference other than the Nintendo Gamecube logo being absent from the middle of the controller, and otherwise looks identical to the official controller.

Brand new and in protective plastic just like any other controller. Plays just as good as a controller Nintendo would manufacture. Would definitely recommend this product.

The controllers feel nice and not super duper cheap like some I’ve seen before. Both sticks are super responsive and feel good. Buttons feel good and work properly and respond how they should. Z button is super clicky which I personally like.

The L and R buttons feel a little more mushy instead of clicky how the original ones feel but they’re not uncomfortable. If you need extra controllers to play some Mario games and don’t want to spend the cash, these are a great option.

I wouldn’t recommend for competitive competitive fighting games or as your main controller. These work perfectly with the Mayflash GameCube Adapter for PC/WiiU and work right away on Dolphin Emulator if that’s what you need them for.

HOWEVER, one of the 2 controllers I got the frame is a little bit separated where the z button is as shown in pictures. I recommend putting a small bit of gorilla glue and sealing it shut (which I have not done yet for the sake of this review) Besides that, it’s a great buy 4.

I picked up the RP2+ to ease the wait for a Steam Deck. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried a dedicated emulator handheld (since GP2X, Dingoo A320, OpenPandora and more recently the Revo K101), and I’m not totally convinced by the use of Android but it gets the job done and makes some standard things easy and familiar.

Plus the Google Play software library is available. The RP2+ builds upon the Android OS with a custom launcher and onboarding Wizard. These mostly handle installing and configuring the emulators you might want to use, though the emulator landscape changes often and some default choices are suboptimal.

Videos show the RP2+ running Wind Waker (Gamecube) which it. almost. manages, but the real ceiling is Nintendo DS, N64, PS1 and Dreamcast (which ReDream does exceptionally well). For DS the recommended (paid) DraStic emulator hasn’t been updated for a couple of years and seems abandoned (by last accounts the authors were working on an open-source Retroarch core to replace it) but melonDS in RetroArch works brilliantly once you get through the rigamarole of configuration.

It hurts to say it, since DraStic takes me back to the OpenPandora days, but it’s not worth your money. You can configure melonDS to use the right stick and buttons in portrait mode and have the two DS screens occupy almost the full RP2+ screen.

It’s a little awkward, but works well once it’s set up. I could not rebind the controls in DraStic. For the most part all “retro” games just work, and a few PS2 games (Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 for example) are playable.

Why four stars? As someone who’s long lost the inclination to spend too much time tinkering with emulator config, it still has some friction to shed. Particular issues included having to manually copy BIOS files (since the auto copy available in the launcher did not seem to work), manually replace or set cover art for many games (particularly anything suffixed with (Europe) which breaks the title match), a weirdly high minimum screen brightness.

obnoxiously bright in fact. and myriad other minor software issues. Additionally the use of non-RetroArch standalone emulators means that shortcuts such as menu access, quicksave and so on are different between systems and can be tedious to remember.

I’d recommend using a RetroArch core where possible. I don’t know what the limitations might be, but it feels like the system is crying out for a dedicated hardware shortcut button. The hardware is excellent.

WiFi has been fine for the very limited things I’ve done over it. Copying even multi-gigabyte files over USB to the SD card worked well, though, so the trial and error of setting up wasn’t too painful.

I’ve even installed SmartTube Next and while it’s awkward on a 640×480 pixel screen it works well. I’m probably preaching to the choir, but be prepared to put in some effort to get things how you want and use in-game saves and save states liberally.

Once you’ve got it set up it’s mostly plain sailing and a truly fantastic little device.

Wanted to use my Retroid Pocket 2 a bit before leaving a review. Comes with a number of games available under the Retroid OS – most of these are fighting games, but couple of gems in there. Wasn’t what I had got it for as wanted to re-play some of my older games.

The Android OS is a little difficult to navigate at first, and saving progress in game or changes to settings didn’t work. Looked online for some FAQs and found out that need to save and close the emulator in the correct manner.

Since then not had any problems and not lost a game save, and after using for a few days the menu screens become easier to navigate and can quickly jump into playing a game. Runs games smoothly up to PS1 and the battery seems to last for a long period of time between charges.

You may need to charge at same time if playing for long periods of time with more graphic intense games. Would recommend getting the screen protector and HDMI link cable at same time with this.

A surprisingly effective handheld gaming device. Good build quality, feels solid but not heavy when in use. Screen is clear and bright. Buttons feel nice and responsive. Sound quality is good on the in-built speakers but you can use a Bluetooth headset as well.

As an Android device it comes with all the app and customisation options you’d expect so there’s plenty to tinker with. Comes with a number of preinstalled apps but I’d say it’s best to look online to see how to get the best setup.

Minimal setup out of the box however if you want to get right into it. Overall very pleased with this as a retro gaming enthusiast and really it can’t be beat at this price point with the sheer amount of functionality it gives you.

Originally played this game when it first came to UK stores. At first it took me a while too get used to playing it. But after a few attempts I was hooked on the storyline. It was brilliant then and still has lost none of its appeal over the last few decades.

In decades to come, If there ever is a hall of fame for Retro Gamecube games. I can imagine seeing Time Splitters 2 and 3 amongst the 100 top games of this century.

I’m having a great time with TimeSplitters 2. Person I bought it from shipped fast, and everything came as it showed in the picture. I would recommend this game, though my only complaint I feel to address about the game is it’s somewhat primitive control scheme.

You can set the controls to be like modern shooters, but aiming is incredibly awkward, and you get no control over the sensitivity of how fast you can move the camera. Gamecube controllers are not ideal for FPS games either, but overall, great package with a ton of content.

Game is an 8. 5-10.

I love this game. its a great first person and multiple player(shooter)game. i had the game when it first came out. then lost it in a fire. so when i purchased the Wii console and found you could play gamecube games on it, i went in search of.

It has a great concept and story line, and many levels of action. In the Arcade mode there are plenty of quick action shoot ’em up games and challenges. Including multi-player duels in a plethora of time periods and lands.

But my favorite part of the game is Story(or mission) mode that starts in Siberia and travels you through time anywhere from 1930’s Chicago to Planet X in the far future. The basic premise is YOU as an agent sent to protect the world from destruction from madmen and their creatures.

Each time period and virtual land is riddled with indigenous landscapes, landmarks, people, thugs, creatures, critters, aliens and so on, which serve as a templet for many hair raising missions, plus scenery which lends itself easily to the eye.

Your mission is to retrieve the various time crystals through time portals from different times and places. (some of historical value), doing whatever it takes to get in and out safely with said “crystals”, while steering clear of the troubles that loom.

Once you have return to your station, feeding the crystals into the machine you save the world , trust me , easier said then done. I have won the game once(normal mode) and was going for a second round on the much harder “hard” mode.

The replay motivation on this game will have any game player wanting more , again and again. The controls are easy to use. and the weapon action is tight. (including a massive amount of custom weapons and settings).

This game is just a real cool escape to far away lands , while keeping your adrenaline on high it keeps your senses synapsing. The sound effects are spot on. My only complaints are that it is game cube and with low GB’s its graphics are not the best.

but it doesn’t matter you still get drawn in and lost in battle forgetting any visual hiccups you may encounter. One more thing is i have found some problems with memory card failure in gamecube, but thats not the games fault.

The loading sequences are quick and almost invisible. So all and all i would give this a 4 out of 5 stars. hope this helps anyone looking to purchase this product. Peace/love/health ~d.

I really enjoyed Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground! As a casual/hardcore gamer for 15+ years, I’d say this game is one of my biggest challenges I’ve ever had. First time Tony Hawk players may have difficulty with the “Amateur” level, but it becomes brutal at the “Sick” level.

This installment has all the same controls of the classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater series plus more controls and new tricks. The game physics are somewhat fantasy-based and fake, which allows for some impossible stunts.

Comparing Proving Ground to EA Games’ Skate series, this game isn’t as realistic, which is what I personally like about it the most. Some parts can be extremely difficult, taking advantage of the off-the-wall, impossible-to-do-in-real-life physics.

Though when I play Skate, I feel the physics are TOO realistic. Another thing, I’ve found a few bugs in Proving Ground which are at times hard to get around, but still playable. The story mode is a nice non-linear, choose what you want do mode.

You are given multiple tasks to complete, though you can choose them anytime or just free skate. The street challenges provide some nice (and rather difficult) side-challenges to complete between story mode missions.

You have the ability to rig skate ramps, rails, quarter pipes, and a huge variety of other things in the middle of the story mode, giving you lots of room for creativity. You can even rig or mod to help in the missions! Even then, this game is no cakewalk if you want to 100%.

Let me say once again, this game can be DIFFICULT. Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground has been overlooked and underrated since Skate appeared on the scene. Proving Ground is the 9th Tony Hawk game in the series, which most likely lost hype after so many installments.

Skate, being something new and different, picked up the fame that this game could have had. If you want a more classic fantasy skater, try Proving Ground. If you prefer a more realistic skater, check out one of EA’s Skate games.

This is my all time favorite game from my favorite series! That doesn’t mean the game is great in general however. To start off the graphics and character/setting animations are a joke, I know it was 2005 but this is for a next gen console they couldn’t done way better in this category.

The soundtrack was awesome and definitely deserved IGN’s best soundtrack of 2006 with great bands like Green Day, The Bravery, Fall out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Rise Against, and many others you’ll definitely be entertained while playing this great game.

The story was really good for a Tony Hawk game it was surprisingly long and made sense. A lot of the missions were extremely easy for us veteran Tony Hawk players but some offered some challenge. Classic mode brought back memories of past Tony Hawk games and levels.

This was a lot harder than story mode but was short, one or the other i guess :/. Xbox Live play is fun and a nice feature that old Tony Hawk games lacked. It would’ve been nicer to make a party a play easier and if it had servers from different areas like PC.

The game modes are very competitive, you can tell just by watching videos of people on YouTube enough said. Overall it’s a great game that will keep you playing for hours, unless of course you get an RROD 🙁 !.

This game brought back to my childhood, absolutely amazing for its time and endless fun. Amazing story mode and one of the best in the Tony Hawk franchise! A definite must have in your collection of games.

The size of the pad was a bit of a surprise, much smaller than I anticipated. The player was well packaged and was delivered earlier than expected, so that’s a bonus point. Set up was very easy, just plug in and go.

Quality of the games were quite poor and the controller was a bit iffy at times too. Sometimes the games shut off without warning half way through gaming, which was annoying. Suitable age group for this player would be 5+ or even earlier.

Wow this little gadget is amazing, I could not believe how simple it was to set up and then I was shocked that it had over two hundred games on it. My Autistic daughter struggles with x box etc but these retro games was slow enough for her to play and the more challenging ones for another day.

This super gadget can be taken in my handbag for visiting friends or to take on a holiday and as long as there is a TV then I can have a coffee break in peace while she plays. Well worth getting and it’s a super bargain.

Great value for money, bought as a birthday present for a friend’s son. I had a sneaky play on it before wrapping it up, I had a lot of fun playing it. Might have to buy on for myself!

Worked out of the box with Dolphin Android over a USB-C adapter! No apparent latency with Wavebird controller. Very happy with this purchase.

This product works as expected. I had one instance of a specific port not recognizing a controller, but was easily rectified by a restart. I believe that this adapter is as close to the OEM adapter as technically possible.

I am definitely picky when it comes to input lag, and the mayflash 4-port adapter does not have any additional latency over the OEM adapter as far as I’m concerned.

Whats good is in sonic adventure dx it have five playable characters because this allows you to play different styles of play. I’m going to list the bad things first note I’ve never completed this game,but here’s some of my issues with the game.

I don’t like Big’s gameplay style being a fishing mini game when playing as Big i’ve never understood his fishing mechanic and game play in general. Ex. he cast a lure to try to capture his friend Froggy,but if the fishng pole line breaks you fail.

That’s the only game play style i hated and never understood how it works. Also, this game have a bad camera that could get stuck behind a wall sometimes when playing,but this really just descent. Sonic and tails is my favorite gameplay style in this game.

Sonic fast pace game play and tails is a bit similar,but he can fly allowing you to take shortcuts that sonic can’t and he’s really fun to play. Knuckles stages i think are way better in this than they are in sa2b,because in this the radar tracks all chaos emerald all at one time.

In sa2b the radar only tracks one at a time. Amy’s gameplay is quite fun. I just dislike the part when the robot is chasing you around you can’t defeat until later in a boss fight.

This game is lots of fun to play. It’s really amazing to see another company was on nintendo’s level of making an open world adventure game, back in 1998. The graphics are ahead of their time, and although the facial animation is totally clunky, it kind of adds to it’s charm.

After all, you can’t expect it to be visually amazing, knowing when it was made. But the environments are great and the gameplay is sooo fluid it’s actually crazy. With such good controls it makes you even forget that it’s an older game, and it’s super enjoyable.

Sonic Adventure DX Director’s Cut is a remake of Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast in 1998. Graphics have been revamped, the Chao (A-Life) system has been updated to match those of Sonic Adventure2/Battle, and features compatibility with the Game Boy Advance games for transferring of Chao between games and other features.

It also features the Sonic Game gear games including rare games like Sonic Drift, Tails Adventures and Tails Skypatrol. I have played this game since being a child, and gone through many copies. The reason I bough this one, well it was time for a new one.

The Nintendo GameCube offers a wide collection of Sonic games available in just 6 or 7 different discs. I look at SADX as a collection; featuring the Game Gear collection. In my opinion, if you are going to buy any of the Sonic GC games, this is definitely one that should be included.

SADX, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle together will provide months of game play, between a ranking system in SA2B, raising Chao between the two games, missions in SADX, and so many other styles of game play the “Adventure” series offers outside the standard Sonic game of their time.

No GameCube, or Sonic collection is complete without this game, and it’s sequel. The Pros: Offers the Game Gear collection of Sonic games, including some rare and never sold outside of Japan. Hours and hours of game play, many missions and hours of enjoyment raising Chao.

A fan-favorite Sonic classic. The Cons: If you don’t enjoy after-story content (missions, raising Chao, ect) the game may be short. It is for an older console, but GameCube’s are very easy to find, and at a good price.

They even have wireless controllers for them, called Wavebirds. Compared to other GameCube games, it is one of the best selling, and most popular game for the console. Not a whole lot of GC games feature collections of older games, or so many hours of game play.

I would really recommend this game for your GameCube, or Sonic collection. I give this game a 5 out of 5, having very few flaws not making it worth getting a 4.

My grandson loves this game. We play together with his Nana. So much fun. The mini games are challenging and not to difficult. We love all the different boards and ways to play. The disc, booklet and case are in excellent condition.

The quality of the service was great as we received the game within a few days of ordering it. Very happy customer. ☺.

You would think Mario Party 7 would be like all the other Mairo Party games, but i was so surprised with this!! The story plot is a cute, and fun twist on an old classic concept! I bought this game for my younger cousin and i was a little nervous cause I bought the used version, but the game was in perfect condition, not even a scratch, and then we inspected the Mic, and that was perfect as well! I was so happy!! My cousin loved the game it was so much fun and the Mic added a new element that now we probably won’t go back to Mario Party 6! For anyone who is a new or old fan of the Party game series and has never played 7, I would absolutely recommend it!.

This is one of the games I will never get rid of and will hold onto my GameCube for. It is such a fun game to play with family and friends. It is a blast, but also had caused a few arguments in my marriage (some people will do anything to win haha!)
