Perfect gift for house warming. I purchased for a family member for her first house. It was a perfect fit in the small bungalow. Very cozy!

I love everything about this set. It is pretty to look at and very comfortable to sit on. What you see, is what you get.

I wanted the restoration hardware cloud but didn’t want to spend $9k+ for it so I went in search mode for a dupe. I bought the commix 6 piece sectional in white from homethreads. It was about a 3 month wait.

And, I got 3 pieces one week and it was 2 weeks before I got the remaining 3. Overall I’m happy with the sofa. It looks great. It is pretty comfortable BUT the fabric is not very soft and the inner lining that holds the feathers is actually crunchy sounding when you sit on it.

The inner lining that holds the feathers is kinda like plastic/fabric to keep the feathers from poking through to the outer linen/polyester fabric. I’m just not use to a sofa making a little crunchy sound when I sit on it.

The cushions are not “pillow soft” like I expected. And, The ottomans are VERY LARGE ~ Larger than the arm and armless pieces. Also, the cushions have to be fluffed often. There is no memory to the cushions at all.

This sectional has a Very casual relaxed modern look which I like. I’m keeping it!.

I’m convinced the positive reviews were paid for. I have had this couch about 5 months now. At no point has it ever been comfortable whatsoever and it has only gotten worse. MAYBE i could forgive the comfort a little more if the couch wasn’t overall horrible in quality.

The cushions are hard and not filled well, the fabric started pilling horribly almost immediately, and it overall looks like i have had this couch for 3-4 years. By far the worst investment i have ever made.

Couch color is VERY specific and is very true to the color on the website. It’s BEAUTIFUL! It’s exactly what I wanted. Seems to be very well-made. I love that the back cushions are not attached. The bottom cushions are tufted like the back cushions but are not reversible.

well you must be here for the same reason i was! i needed a couch!!! furniture is so so difficult to buy because hopefully, you are going to have it for a long time so, obviously you want a piece that lasts and that looks nice.

it’s even harder to buy online, when you can’t test it! i was replacing a tattered ikea couch and decided not to go back there for another b/c on the one i was replacing, the cushions in my mind very quickly (maybe 2.

5 years?) simply started to sag very badly. it’s like there was a pit / permanent indentation in them and it made for very uneven seating and even worse lying down. i know ikea is a certain price point, and it’s not handmade-last-forever stuff.

but i thought i’m not outta college anymore, let me at least buy something a bit more real and quality. i came across the lexmod / modway line, online. and it certainly looked stylish and was much more affordable than similar-looking mid-century stuff i was finding around me (los angeles).

i was initially interested in their sleek and modern loft sofa, but after checking dimensions (it had cushions that were not as deep, and the seat was lower to the ground. ) i decided against it b/c you wouldn’t believe how much different i.

e. , 2″ in the cushion depth, or 2″ on the arm rest height makes. when you are settling back and trying to relax. i actually found a few lexmod / modway pieces in a store close by. they did not have the empress line.

but, i managed to check out two very similar looking couches (the engage, and beguile) to get a prettttty good sense of build quality, comfort, etc. the pieces seems strong (i shook the arms vigorously to see how much / if they move), the sewing was clean and precise, the fabric taut, etc.

i literally sat and bounced on them for like 30 minutes (sales people must have thought i was crazy. !). i definitely thought for the $700/$800 price point, the couches seemed very good. (not heirloom, hand me down great.

but i don’t want that anyway!) i ended up ordering from lexmod directly b/c i was in a time crunch and it said it was available here, sooner than any other spot i checked. so i ordered — december 22.

yup, 3 days before christmas! and lo and behold on december 28 only 6 days later. it was here, having come completely across the country from new jersey to los angeles! i was super impressed and relieved, because i needed it asap before january 1st.

besides the empress couch in light grey, i also ordered the empress ottoman. oddly enough, it does not come in light grey. but in the end i’m glad it didn’t b/c that forced me to buy another color and instead of going with something close like dark grey or oatmeal, i decided to go the other end and bought it in wheatgrass.

the result is. the pieces look integrated b/c they have the same exact style. but the contrast in colors provides a nice and fun, very modern bit of pop. so- here’s the couch and ottoman. so far even though it’s only been a week i’m very happy with it.

it is much comfier than i thought it would be. to be honest, when i saw the other lexmods in the store, i thought the seat cushions were very firm. now that i’ve had it a bit, the seat cushions are firm but, they pair nicely with the tufted back cushions which are much softer and overall it does work to let you sink in and relax.

plus– pair it with the ottoman where you can throw your feet up, and the higher arms which let you nuzzle into the couch corner comfortably supported (which short arms won’t allow you to do). and the couch is very comfy indeed.

because i’m a bit of a design freak, and because i wanted a more modern looking couch. i actually spray painted the legs of the couch (and ottoman) silver. (they are screw on, and strong. they are not attached for shipment to make the dimensions 5″ less which is significant as navigate through doorways!).

i actually love the way the silver legs look because they still have the taper of the traditional mid-century but look much more modern to me and pop interestingly. for my purposes and setting, they make the look and style much more unique.

like, the couch harkens to tradition but has a subtle twist. anyway in the week i’ve had it, i’ve certainly been impressed with the initial quality and comfort. time will tell how well it holds up but so far i’m very happy with the purchase and everyone who has seen it has said wow that’s a nice couch.

and they’ve loved the pop of color in the ottoman! at this price point, i do think it’s very good quality and style, with very nice bang for the buck!.

I received this couch ( which delivery was an awful experience in itself but that’s another story) and it is the WORST couch I have ever sat on. Now, mind you, I wasn’t expecting perfection but at least the ability to sit on it would have been nice.

I had a friend over who sat on it, got up, and then sat on the floor–that is how awful it felt. I am still waiting on the refund after shipping it back and I’m starting to get concerned. Whatever you do, DON’T purchase this couch from Target –you may never see your money again!!!.

Great couch, has all its parts. The feeling of the material that of pleather but for the money you get what you see. It pops together without any tools, just slide the parts together. Mine was slightly damaged in shipping but not a reflection of the couch.

I bought this to replaced a worn out old sofa that my dogs had scratched beyond repair. After putting this together and setting it up, it works perfect! The dogs won’t go near it, and it’s not very comfortable, thereby limiting unwanted visitors.

Easy to put together. Sits a little on the stiff side but I’m happy with the purchase.

The price was great! Just moved into a new house. Our old sofa (from Ashley) color did not match the new house but wow it was a great sofa. We had it for 15 years and it still looked new. On to the new Sofa.

The new sofa is not bad but it is not great! We were spoiled with the old sofa we had. The new sofa is not as comfortable as we would like and feels a little cheap. It is comfortable but not for sitting hours to bing watch TV.

It sits a little lower to the floor than I would like but nothing too abnormal. I really want to give our new sofa a better review but I think we were spoiled with our old sofa. For the price we paid it is a good deal.

I love my new Calion Loveseat (and Sofa). I ordered the set Feb 1, and it was delivered Feb 19. I chose the door delivery, and they carried it into my garage. It arrived in excellent condition. I was replacing a monstrosity of a leather sectional sofa.

I decided to go with this linen fabric set because my last three leather sofas all ended up with splits and tears in the leather. This fabric is durable and the sofa and loveseat are really high quality.

I wanted cushions that did not just “deflate” in a month, and these are holding up well. You receive four pillows with the sofa and two with the love seat, which is a nice bonus. And, I love the color.

I was a little concerned ordering the set online without seeing it in person, but it goes very well with my existing area rug, so I did not have to change that out. I did have to cover the sofa with a pet cover because my cat is in the end stages of kidney failure and has accidents.

Very happy with this purchase and thought the price was quite good.

I’ve been living with the Calion sofa & loveseat for about a year. It looks really nice, but it is far from the most comfortable furniture you will ever sit on. The fabric is stiff and scratchy. The padding is very firm.

When your show gets boring and you fall asleep, you are very likely to wake up with numb body parts. The positives are the price and the appearance. This is perfect for a room you hardly use. Also great for company that you don’t want to get too comfortable so they don’t stick around long.

I’ve been searching for this exact fabric, color, design, size. Cheapest I’ve found is around $650. It was almost too good to be true! Love the color, came in 3 large awkward sized boxes FYI. Easiest assembly ever, literally comes in 4 major pieces, and you just click them all in.

Wood feet screw in without any tools. REPEAT NO tools are required. I put this together myself, in under 20 mins. Not very heavy pieces, 2 people would make it much easier. Perfect for my cozy apartment, smaller than the picture looks (the back of the couch is much shorter than expected, and the couch isn’t very deep) Only complaint is the cushions leave a big noticeable gap in the sofa.

First of all as it was NOT mentioned in the description this item comes in PIECES. Yes, you have to put this all together like a gigsaw puzzle. The legs are made of thin easily breakable plastic. The hardware are loose so everything is loose no matter how much you tighten it.

I was very disappointed with this purchase and I am hoping to return it. However, though this was bought via walmart, Walmart has nothing to do with returns as apparently this was purchased via their marketplace.

So I have go directly contact the vendor, Homesquare. Very disappointed with the entire transaction. Unlike Amazon and Ebay if you buy from them they will help you with return. I might be stuck with this very disappointing mistake.

TO WHOEVER READING THIS: DO NOT BUY THIS SOFA!!!!! It’s infested with post powder beetles! I bought the sofa in grey from The Colony, Texas location and to my disgust it was infested with post powder beetles.

I witnessed one of the beetles create a hole from the inside and crawl out of the arm of the sofa. (I was able to capture and take pictures/videos of it. ) Because I loved the sofa, I asked NFM to send me a replacement and they did.

However, two weeks later I discovered the replacement sofa was ALSO infested. I didn’t see the actual beetle this time, but there was a hole on the back of it similar to the one made on the first one, and I had been hearing the same noise they were making.

It’s so disgusting. NFM should remove this from their inventory and STOP selling it, clearly the manufacturer used bad wood!!! I live in a high rise downtown, the head of construction along with pest control informed me there was no way this came from my dwelling.

The building is concrete and metal framing. I asked for a refund and I will never shop here again. I cannot believe how much of a nightmare my experience has been. The customer service reps I spoke with acted like this was no big deal.

I had to kick and scream to get them to come out sooner to pick up this infested couch. So instead of June 10th, they’ll be here tomorrow.

The Calais Sofa is definitely a great couch that I’m very glad I purchased. It is firm out of the box, but has softened fairly quickly. There are some minor things, like one of the “arms” squeaking a bit when you lean on it, but nothing major.

Overall, it’s a great couch and I look forward to taking many naps on it.

I ordered 2 of these sofas in the grey option and I didn’t put the legs on! I think it looks very modern, they look high quality and while I feel like they look really nice in my space – they’re also pretty functional and comfortable.

Nice and long and decent weigh capacity so I can sit on it with a couple other family members at the same time – easily fits 3 adults on each. I reviewed lots of sofas and I’m really glad I landed on this.

Only thing to note is it’s not really light grey, it’s more like a medium/dark.

I purchased the sofa, chair and ottoman in Sept 2021. Four months later, I have decided to purchase another couch from a different manufacturer. This set looks pretty but it’s very uncomfortable — feels like the couch my grandma used to have in the formal living room – the one no one wanted to sit on.

Shallow seating and the cushions are narrow so you’re always sitting on seam. Chair looks comfy but the seat is hard and oddly shaped so it’s not something you can sink into a read a book. Best part? The ottoman – it’s a storage ottoman and super handy.

It’s all going to a new home after 4 months – big loss for me after paying almost $2000 for all with delivery, but I’m home quite a bit and need to be comfy when I relax!.

There was a 3 month wait to receive this couch, good communication on delivery status and it was delivered without issue. I’ve now had this couch 1 year now. It’s a pretty couch and fits my small living space well.

As for comfort, it’s a bit awkward. Unless you are sitting right in the center of a cushion, you tend to lean to one side or the other of a cushion. Also, there is also a very hard board going the length of the couch, behind where the back and seat cushions meet.

If you sit or plop down on the couch too hard, you risk injuring your tailbone when it hits this board. So be mindful of that especially if you have little ones that like to jump onto the couch.

I paid over $2000 for this sofa/loveseat and ottoman. Sofa cushion had a noticeable sink and gap. Bob’s just sent a replacement cushion but this did not help. About a year after having this set you can hear the springs in the loveseat every time you sit down.

Also the ottoman lid was not aligned with the rest of the ottoman. I called again and since the 1 year warranty had expired, they only offered to have someone look at the issues but I would be responsible for paying for the the repairs.

Since they didn’t do much the first time I contacted customer service I decided to buy elsewhere. This poorly constructed furniture didn’t even last a year and a half.

I bought this today and cannot wait to have it delivered. I looked at this online and did not like it. Infact I thought it looked cheap. Boy was I wrong online does not look nothing like in the store.

So I went in to get one I saw online I liked and guess what this one set is beautiful and well made. I loved the fabric and when I sat on it I knew it was the one. Looking online or going in the store and seeing is is totally different.

I’m a recent college graduate and just moved into a new apartment! I have always lived with roommates that have had furniture so I’ve never had to buy any in the past. My new apartment is unfurnished and needed some lovely furniture to brighten up a very blank room.

I started my search online which brought me to believe that used furniture stores would be the way to go. In my first day of looking, I found myselft thinking that $800 dollars for a used couch seemed a little far fetched.

That brought me to RC Willey where I new that a new couch would be the way to go. Instantly upon walking in, I found 2 or 3 sets that I liked. Walking around the whole store I decided on this slate grey couch and loveseat.

To my surprise and the help of our consultant he told me that the whole living room set was on sale! I love my new living room. Decorating and setting up for the holidays is so much more fun with nice furniture to surround it in.

I bought living room set with the anticipation that it would last for many years. It’s only been 2 months since I’ve had it delivered, but all of my friends have commented on how well it looks in my apartment.

I like the darker color because I know things can happen (spills, accidents, etc), and bought the added stain protection in case anything serious happens. The coffee table is at a great height if you need to use if for making out bills or having appetizers out for parties.

Only downside is that one of the three tables was damaged when they were on route to delivering everything to me, so they had to take all three tables back as they were part of a set. Upside is that someone is going to get a deal on three tables in the clearance center.

THIS SET MAKES THE WORST SOUND WHEN YOU SIT ON IT…….EVERYTIME!!!!! I have the black and white set which I love but it’s loud…

This item arrived damaged. We bought the HOM guard warranty. The problem was only that the bottom felt had multiple holes and was installed crooked. That’s as simple as it gets, right? A few months later, a tech came out after one phone call 20 minutes before and stapled another layer over the damaged felt.

He did not even bother to remove the feet to go under them as the original fabric does. This person clearly does not care at all. This entire process was a big waste of time. I wish I’d shopped elsewhere.

If you don’t want to be conned out of a lot of money. Please do not make this purchase. This furniture is very horribly assembled. The inside of the furniture is completely shattered and all four plastic legs are broken, after only a year and change.

That the warranty does not cover. Its amazing to me to have read so many reviews on this same furniture with the same problems and Conns won’t even cover these under warranty. I’m so embarrassed by this furniture I cant even have family or friends over from embarrassment.

The sad thing is i have two teenage children and all we ever do is sit on the furniture, I never even allowed my children to sleep on my sofa and look at this. Please don’t make this purchase. its like taking a large amount of money and throwing it out the window or better yet burning it.

I will say this my love seat is still standing only because no one sits on it.

I really don’t recommend these couches to anyone! These couches suck I bought them like about almost a year ago and they already sink in the middle and the foam on the rest arm moved around and now you feel the wood.

And the springs are broken down the middle that it’s making the thin fabric on the very bottom of the couch tear. These couches were really expensive they are not worth that much money! If you want some couches go buy them somewhere else and cheap.

Purchased this couch during 4th of July weekend sale to be delivered to our new house after closing of escrow, on Aug 14. Was told everything was in stock. It ended up being delayed another month. Arrived and unpacked by delivery team of 2 men.

All went well. The couch itself is soft to touch. We picked this because being petite, the seat cushions fit perfectly under my knees so we don’t sink into the couch. The seat cushions are on the stiffer end but I like that for support.

I love that the back cushions are not removable. I hated fixing our old couch daily. The seats are removable so you can easily vacuum. The extra pillows that come with it are comfy and soft. This couch is made so you can use the pieces separately or together in ANY layout.

So this can fit in any shaped room nicely.

I was really hesitant about buying furniture I’ve never seen in person or sat on, but this couch is very comfy and the fabric is soft. The seat cushions had a slight crinkle noise when sitting for the first few days but the noise went away within the first week.

Looks nice, feels nice, easily napped on already.

It is very stylish. I would recommend it to friends and family , although I like it so much I would want to be the only one that has it. And let others just admire it. Comfortable and soft are two things I like about it.

Great Loveseat. Great Price. Love the color. The size is just right for my small space. It really wasn’t nothing to assemble. We took it out the box. Aligned the backseat cushions on the back grooves, pressed down on both sides and it was done.

Very easy. Easy reclining. Love the texture. Its soft and durable. Sits comfortably and it doesn’t sag or sit low. Loving it.

It’s a good couch and the color is just what I expected (I ordered Conversational Pearl). It is exactly a light cream color and I love the texture of the fabric. The only down side I have with it is that the pillows are a bit lumpy as the stuffing is not uniform but other than that it’s a good couch and would recommend.

It is nice looking and on first blush it looks well made however the arms on it are not quite full so the fabric relaxes into the sofa not out. A better made sofa would have a fuller foam arm. It mades it feel cheap and it was not a cheap sofa.

I regret not buying a sofa from an actual brick and mortar.

I was beyond disappointed with my Nomad sofa. I felt I was misled and some false advertising happened, and I did not receive what I was shown/told I would. I had seen the raving reviews on their website and a few other articles and even though spending $2k+ (after a Labor Day discount) was a huge investment for me, I figured it would be worth it to get a quality sofa, that would stay beautiful and comfortable for years to come.

I couldn’t have been more wrong. The one star is for quick shipping and pretty quick responses once I started contacting customer service, including an easy return process (FedEx pick-up from my apartment).

The couch is also extremely easy to put together and take apart. However, that doesn’t make up for the couch itself, which was horrible. I live in an NYC apartment and wanted a comfortable statement couch since I’d be spending a lot of time on it, working from home and relaxing, each day.

The “performance velvet” looked nothing like the photos. It seemed like a cheap, not soft, flat-looking microfiber with absolutely no texture, so it was both unattractive and showed every move you made as well as immediately attracted my dog’s hair in the few hours I had it set up.

I was expecting a shinier, more textured, more quality looking velvet based on the photos. The couch was also strangely upright and not deep enough to sit comfortably on (and I’m only 5’4!). And last but not least, it was just horrendously uncomfortable, the cushions were thin, flimsy, cheap, and hard, like sitting at a not-very-nice dentist office’s waiting room.

No sinkability at all, I just kind of bobbed there. It was less comfortable than my last ikea couch, and I was upset I’d paid SO much money to get such terrible quality. I couldn’t keep such an uncomfortable, low-quality, and unattractive couch, especially for the hefty price tag.

To make matters worst, even though the return process was fast and easy, it wasn’t free returns and I had to pay a 10% fee to return something I never would have bought if I’d been shown what the true product quality was.

I’m also suspicious of how many positive reviews are on their site— Check out Reddit if you want to see some more truly accurate reviews. Burrow, do better. Make a better product, lower your price point to be accurate for what you do sell, and don’t misrepresent the quality you are selling.

It’s not right. Everyone else, go with trusted furniture companies, not tech companies that decided to make furniture, even if it costs a few hundred more. I ultimately decided on a West Elm couch I tried in person, got to choose my fabric and color, and got to use Affirm through their website to pay interest-free in 3 installments over the next 3 months to help me pay off even though the couch I chose is a little more expensive.

But I know at least I’ll truly be making an investment, enjoying my couch daily for years to come, and that I’ll be getting what I pay for.

The Nomad leather sectional is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. We originally ordered the four-seater corner sectional, but then added a fifth seat. Burrow made it a snap to order an additional seat — you just have to reach out to them directly because they apparently changed some of the interlocking design at some point and they want to make sure that you get an additional seat that works with your model.

The chestnut leather color is rich and seems sturdy. I waited almost three months to write this review to see how it held up against my 45-pound dog’s nails jumping up and down to look out the window whenever the mail carrier comes by.

So far, no noticeable scratches. It’s a breeze to clean (very helpful because said dog sheds a lot) — basically just brush it off. No major spills so far, but my dog’s occasional drool does not appear to have penetrated the leather or caused any dark spots.

Comfort level is great — both my husband (who is a foot taller than me and about 80 pounds heavier) and I agree. Plenty of room to spread out, and I’ve fallen asleep on it multiple times. Assembly with two people was not exactly easy, but could have been a lot worse.

There were a few points where the instructions could have been a bit clearer, and snapping some of the pieces together takes considerable strength. Once you get going though, it’s kind of like putting together a big puzzle and not too bad.

I’d estimate that the entire assembly took about two hours with two (not especially handy) people, and adding the extra seat later took less than 20 minutes. Three minor words of caution. First, I recommend checking that all pieces are included BEFORE beginning assembly.

We realized after being almost finished that we were missing one support leg. Burrow was quick to respond and ship us the missing part (plus a bonus throw blanket for our trouble!), but for a few days, we had a fully assembled couch that we didn’t feel comfortable sitting on for fear that it would collapse without that one leg.

Second, two suggestions for the seat cushions: make them reversible or else provide some sort of velcro attachment. I feel like they are the worst of both worlds in that they move around a fair bit (which wouldn’t be an issue with velcro) but also cannot be flipped in the case of a spill or damage.

At least one of those options would solve one of those two problems and make me very happy. Finally, not a warning so much as an FYI: because it is a modular design, there are seams along the back of the couch between each seat.

I think this looks totally fine and classy the way it’s designed, but I imagine someone who doesn’t have the sofa against a wall and cares a lot about having a flat back like on traditional (non-modular) sofas might be bothered by it.

Again, I think it looks totally great, and I would much prefer to have the ability to move and rearrange the pieces than have a solid piece of fabric across the entire back. Overall, I’m really pleased with the sectional’s quality, comfort, and design.

It’s perfect for my space, and seems like a good deal for real (ethically sourced) leather. Burrow’s customer service is great, and I’d definitely buy from them again.

It’s a good couch, but don’t believe the videos of how easy it is to build it. Even disregarding the fact that you paid 3000 dollars for a DIY couch, the instructions are atrocious. For 3k a couch you can afford some UX research into better instructions.

The pictures are low resolution and confusing, with a lot of black – on – black imagery. It says things like “install the legs” when what it means is “install the leg hardware. ” There’s no page or pamphlet describing the various parts you should have and what to use them for.

From what I can tell, the instruction booklet is just generic, not tailored to your specific couch. Again, for 3k, you can absolutely include a booklet tailored to the couch you bought. Look, the couch is decent.

But putting it together was such a miserable experience it almost soured the experience of owning the couch. And I don’t understand how in this day and age, literally no one but IKEA can come up with instruction booklets that are clear, concise, and don’t need translation.

The couch itself is fine. It’s sturdy, you can sit on it. I forget what color we picked, but it’s definitely not what was in the picture. It was supposed to be a dusty gray-pink, but it’s definitely just beige, which is a bit disappointing.

I’d have gone for a different color if I knew this was just going to be beige.
