This was my 1st time ordering from Vanity Fair. Im in love w my purchases. It bn soooo hard finding a bra that fits!! Come to find out, I was measuring correctly. After a virtual fitting, I ordered the size I measured, 38D.

To my VERY GRATEFUL SURPRISE, THEY FIT PERFECT!!!!!! I always wear an underwire bra so I ordered 4 w the wire, 2 of those were front closure. which I love to wear, but by the end of the day, the closure snap is always pulled to one side & by this time, my bra was tight w no qsupport.

Needless to say my boobies were in a hott mess state, but NOT W THESE 2 Bra’s!!!! The support lasted thru out the day, the closure snap stayed in place, no pulling the bra straps trying to stretch them due to so much “WRONG” happening in front of my old bras.

These 2 front closure bras went above & beyond ALL expectations that I had!! So excited to kno I will be able to start wearing this style again. IT’S MY FAVORITE STYLE TO WEAR. The other 2 full figured Bra’s I ordered again.

up-up & beyond all of my expectations. The ONLY bra I bought that I was upset w, was the no underwire bra. I had it on no more than 10mins & the bottom had completely rolled it’s way under my breast.

Lesson learned. no underwire bras are just not for me at all. But I still give this order a 12 outta 10 score. I will be back alot in the future. If you’re anywhere around a 38DDD like I am, beware! I thought I was getting a comfortable minimizer but in my size the band is about twice as wide and has stays (like boning) on the sides under my arms.

For someone short like me, they like and are super uncomfortable. Also the fabric is rough around the band. It’s a bit like wearing a partial corset. Do not recommend unless you’re either much smaller or you like wearing a 1950s style bra.

Did I mention the pointy cups?.

My search is over. For a 60 yr old 36DD, this bra is everything. (I miss my youthful 34a-b but they ain’t coming back) It covers the entire breast so I don” get that wobbly overflow. The edging along the decolletage rests nicely and smoothly.

The cups are a dream. the bottom is a supportive yet soft fill and the upper portion is a supportive lace that does not show thru light t shirts. The cups are separated and lift to perfection. The back has a nice wider band and the straps are comfy and wider too.

The bra kind of moves with you, you will see.

I love this bra. My back and my chest feel so supported. There is proper separation and lift. The fit is absolutely perfect. Not spillage anywhere! The only reason I might take away one star is that the material is not the softest.

However, I do not feel the need to rip the bra off the moment I enter my house.

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a bra as much as I hate this bra. I’ve had it for maybe 4 months and each time I wear it, it gets worse. To start, I’m a 36DDD. I don’t think this “minimizer” actually does anything for the size.

I have another minimizer from a different brand that works wonders. This doesn’t even compare. The underwire is so scratchy! I’ve started developing rashes under my boobs because of how abrasive it is.

The straps will night stay adjusted no matter how many times you tighten them. Within an hour of adjusting, they’ve fallen down so low they fall off of my shoulders. That makes the support just “meh” at best.

There are pros to this bra — the minimizer style, the offering of a “G” cup — yay for not having to rearrange myself throughout the day, the cups and straps are comfortable and barely noticeable when on However, I’ve found that it isn’t my go-to bra — that remains my All Day T-Shirt Bras.

The band on the minimizer feels tight and by the end of the day I’m ready to take it off. Because of the shape it gives, I notice that fitted t-shirts gather loosely around my neck and then stretch tight around my *******.

I don’t feel as polished looking when I wear this bra. If I was planning and active day and wore a more loosely fit shirt this would be the bra I pull out since I wouldn’t have to worry about spillage thanks to the larger cup size.

It has it’s job in my wardrobe, but I don’t need a whole week’s worth of them.

I wanted to love this bra. I have the #85185 in bodysuede, with somewhat wider straps. Some of the review for this bra indicated that the underwire was uncomfortable, but I foolishly ignored them. Unfortunately, they were accurate.

This bra is going back, sadly, I don’t know why the other style is comfortable and this one digs in so much, but for $60, I don’t want to be uncomfortable. For reference, I am a 38D or DD in Wacoal, depending upon the style.

This bra lives up to its name as a minimizer. My only complaint about it is that the back strap is just too narrow. The end result is that it allows excess skin to fold over the material and is not comfortable nor attractive.

After a few wearing shorts it improves but not enough. I have been professionally sized so I have the correct size. Just seems like a flawed design for the price and for an otherwise good bra.

This bra is good and bad, I’d say a 50/50. The cups themselves fit me great and I liked that. Felt supportive while also being flattering. HOWEVER. The cups are super wrinkled which doesn’t look great, and the straps are far too tight, even with loosening them.

It doesn’t allow for much give, so they slightly dig into my shoulders. I followed the size chart as well as what I would normally wear, and in this particular brand I may be a band size up, oddly enough.

For reference, most places I am a 34DDD. I purchased this bra in that size and it’s too small in the straps and slightly in the band.

Why are sports bras so hard to get right? In the past, I’ve returned bras to Nordstrom Rack because they didn’t fit properly — the cups are usually way too small, or the band too pinchy. For years, I’ve worn ill-fitting sports bras because none seem to fit properly.

It’s odd, because my regular bras have a perfect fit, but sports bras? Not a chance. For this one, I ordered up a band size. It is less painful and digging than most sports bras, but now the top of my cup is not full, and the band is a tad loose.

If sports bra sizing and fit frustrates you, this won’t be your solution. That said, it is more wearable and functional than a vast majority of sports bras I’ve tried. Still looking for the white whale!.

Bra oversized. Not as other brands sizes. I would say quality great. But comfort so so. I am disagree with minimizing promises. Does not do minimizing at all. I like colors. Customer service on the other hand horrible not helping.

Response to email never helping but rather negative or completely ignored. I would like to see improvement in customer support and sizes.

I love this bra. It is beautiful and lacy. It lifts everything up to where it is supposed to be. It keeps everything on the side actually inside the bra area for it’s supposed to be. This is the only bra that actually does what it is supposed to do.

I’m not going to wear another brand. It is taking me a long time to find one that actually fits. It is comfortable to wear and it keeps everything inside like it should. In my experience, that is a rare bra.

I am a large woman, needing a large cup bra as well. So you can see how hard it is to find something that would fit correctly. I very much appreciate finally finding something that will fit.

I have worn this style for over 20 years. It has become increasingly difficult to find my size (36DD) locally so when I saw the sale online I ordered it. However it is not the same. 1) the material is flimsy and I doubt will wear well.

2) it advertises a 36 as having 3 hooks. Mine came with only 2 hooks. 3) the style number has changed meaning the fit as well as materials have changed. The band is looser and the cups are a bit smaller.

I debated returning it but since I really needed a new bra I kept it. However it is my least favorite. I understand increasing costs but decreasing quality while raising prices just doesn’t seem appropriate.

First, too small. Not even close to my size. Second, I wish bra makers would understand that if have breasts large enough that you want a minimizer bra, that you don’t want stretchy straps, either. Stretchy straps are not suitable for large breasted women’s bras! We need the extra support of non stretch.

The description doesn’t tell you if straps are stretchy or not. So the bras I ordered were returned.

I wasted my money on this one! Normally happy with Warcoal, but this bra is just awful. The hard cups don’t lay flush to me and the “smoothing side panels” just flap over. My niece ordered the same bra with the same results.

I actually emailed Warcoal with feedback hoping they hear this enough to remove it from their line. No one likes to waste money.

I’m a 32DDD and while the cups fit fine, the band was extremely tight. Even the bra straps were super tight; I loosened them all the way and they still dug in. I have have small shoulders so I usually have the opposite problem.

Regardless of sizing, the material of this bra is terrible. It was super scratchy and itchy and literally hurt and irritated my skin to have it on. Why would they think someone would want to wear a bra with this kind of material?? It’s also unflattering on larger breasts.

It looks like a “grandma bra” (no offense granny’s, you deserve better too) and puts the girls in an awkward position. I only bought this because I am looking for bras without any padding and there are very limited options for larger breasts.

I returned the previous bra as it was too thin without the padding and I was recommended to buy this instead. Alas! Same issue. Either I have special material nipples or Chantelle hasn’t made a proper coverage bra.

I can’t wear my office blouses at all without having to cover up with a scarf or jacket as my nipples are the center of attention through this bra. It’s so embarrassing at work and I’ve to constantly check to make sure that I’m not ‘showing’.

Chantelle experts recommended this bra after I returned the first one with similar issues which was unlined. now I’ve wasted more than 150$ and I won’t be wearing these in warmer months at all. They are comfy though.

Wire doesn’t feel as bad as say VS underwire.

I bought this bra after doing a fitting with a dillards fitting professional. During the fitting the bra seemed pretty decent so I took a leap of faith on it. I am extremely busty and tend to have problems with bras.

The woman fitting me told me that many say it’s great for all day wear. it is absolutely NOT! After one hour I was in so much pain around my armpits and under my bust. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed that I obviously can’t return it after wearing it.

This is such a pricey bra as well. I would definitely not recommend this bra for large chested women.

After going to your fitting size, ipo the 36D I usually wear, but is too loose in the band I ordered a 34DD(E). The band is too tight & the cups had a lot of extra material. I’ve sent them back, and am looking to order another style of Chantelle.

I need support, I’m thin, however I have loose back and side arm areas that need to be dealt with, which is why I ordered the 34DD. even of the loosest hook, I had overage of skin & the cups were n’t right.

I’d like a bra that is supportive with underwire, with sides and back coverage, with cup support that doesn’t feel like my breasts are under my neck. I’m 5. 9”, thin, but with the aged budges.

This is the bra that I currently wear for everyday. It is very comfortable and does indeed smooth the back. The slings help to keep breast tissue forward, which avoids underarm spillage. The band size is a little longer than other Wacoals I have worn and the band is very stretchy.

I am already on the middle hook and can put it on the third without too much trouble. I was fitted, so I know the band size is correct. Time will tell if the band will stretch out to the point that the bra is no longer supportive.

This bra would be a five star winner for the large breasted gal (like myself, 34G) if the cup fabric was the same as the Wacoal minimizers and if the band was made a bit smaller to account for the stretchy fabric.

I decided no underwire was the way to go after having my first child 2 years ago. Since then, I’ve been trying to find bras that give structure, support and back smoothing without the underwire. It’s been a struggle.

hence the two years. I went to Nordstrom and was fitted for a bra, and this is one that they suggested. It’s amazing. The fit, the support, the structure. It’s perfect. Also back smoothing. I bought the black and the rose dust because I knew I needed multiples of this bra.

I recommend it for those who seek the same things I was seeking.

I have never written a review until now. This bra is amazingly comfortable; no pokey underwires or side boning. It has great coverage and actually lays flat across the front. I wear a 38DDD and for many years I have suffered from bruises, strap indentation marks, and uncomfortable band chafing from underwire bras that haven’t fit properly.

I thought I would try an underwire bra and found they are very hard to find at my size and still give some support. Wacoal has always been my go to because of their quality and this bra is amazing. It gives me the coverage and support I need without the uncomfortable wires or thick band.

I wish the straps were a little nicer than just apiece of elastic but the fit and comfort more than make up for this. I also wish there were more colors to choose from as I’d buy more. I finally feel like I can wear a bra a full day and not be uncomfortable.

Very comfortable, made in a good quality material. Wide shoulder straps and wider sides for extra support and comfort giving the wearer confidence to look and feel good. In my opinion it is one of the best styles I have bought.

The most comfortable wire free bra I have worn. It looks and feels good and doesn’t move forward as the day progresses.

Super Passform

I bought this bra from Soma in the evergreen shops in South Windsor CT. , I asked the associate to fit me and help me find a good bra. I have had issues with bras since I hit my late 30’s. Kids, weight fluctuations, age and gravity had complicated the bra fitting process.

I had multiple fittings at other high end boutiques and spent a lot of money trying to find these simple things: fit, support, lift, and comfort. I have always wore padded bras and actually never even considered a bra without padding.

The associate was knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. We tried many padded bras in an array of sizes, she mentioned the Wacoal visual effect minimizer bra and quickly shot her down, after a while and once again feeling defeated she brought the minimizer bra back and gently encouraged me to just try It.

She explained that this may be exactly what I was looking for, I reluctantly tried It on and the minute I put It on I was shocked. Lift, fit, support and oh my comfy. I now own them in every color. I love this bra.

I never wear anything else. They have them in a wide range of colors from white, sand, black, blue, purple, and so forth. They really do offer more support than any padded bra I have ever wore. They are also light and cool.

I currently just lost a lot of weight and went from a size 16-18 to a size 8. Im really sad because they don’t make this bra in less than a C cup. Which I understand as It is a “minimizer” bra. Back to the drawing board and back to Soma to find my next favorite bra!.

I purchased this bra in black and the nude colors. The cups have a pretty lace print and lined in a very sheer tulle fabric. The center gore has a nice height and the wires fit firmly against my chest wall creating perfect lift and separation.

The straps are wide but not to wide to show when wearing a tank top and have a little stretch but they stay in place. It doesn’t feel like any of the minimizers that I have worn. Most minimizers give a constricted feeling this bra does not It has a more natural feel to it.

Other minimizers squish your breasts to your sides as a result your breasts feel like they are popping out under your underarms I hate that feeling. Overall I wear it often and it gives me a smooth and natural look.

I got the Visual Effects bra in size 42G. This bra works great under tees, tanks and sweaters. It is one of my favorite bras and my husband has also commented that I look pretty in it! Everything in place no bulges I recommend it to fuller busted women.

I purchased this bra a month ago because the unbelieveable bra was not in stock at the store or online. This was my first time visiting a Soma boutique and I was alittle more than disappointed that the bra I came in for was not there nor could it be sent to me.

I am measuring at a 40G and It’s hard to just go anywhere and find a bra so I could not leave the store without one as the Chantelle bra I was wearing was falling apart. The Sales associate brought this bra out in a 42H and it fit so I took it home.

It support me but the cups a just a tiny bit too loose. Also there is a wire on the side that makes the bra just too uncomfortable to wear at times. Overall it is soft and it offers the minimizer effects, but I feel that once I purchase a new everyday bra I will never wear this one again due to the wire poking me.

It minimizes, is supportive, very comfortable and pretty. Big thanks to the young woman sales associate who measured and fitted me! I’m so glad Nordstrom still does bra fittings! As I’m a 34F, I’m glad i could find a bra without thick padding.

This one has a thin lining that I like very much. A bra that fits properly makes all the difference! Have several bras to rotate daily, follow the care instructions and quality bra like this last a long time.

If you are looking for a bra that squashes the girls and pushes them out to the sides, choose this one. The shape this bra provides is neither uplifted nor separated nor attractive. The top of the underwire sticks out at the sides, poking the underside of the arm.

The bra itself seems to be made well and it’s pretty but that’s about it. Also I would have expected 4 hooks for a larger size (36 DDD) rather than 3. If returning an item to QVC wasn’t too expensive and inconvenient, the two I purchased would be in the mail tomorrow.

Please, hosts, ease up on the hyperbole and give it to us straight. The host specifically said the bra would present the girls front and center and not smash them down and out. Not true. Not recommended.

I buy less and less from QVC these days because I find so many of the products below par, too expensive and the shipping is too high.

I thought I had finally found a bra with straps I could adjust the way I wanted, not someone else’s preset measurements. Big disappointment there; only a small adjustment is allowed. Bummer there. But, the main problem is that the underwire on this bra is painful.

I wore the bra, took it off after 2 or 3 hours, and dropped it directly into the waste basket in the bathroom. I felt it unworthy of a laundering and return for refund. I have worn Bali products for many years and they have served me well, but this one is far inferior.

I bought this bra online and have previously purchased it with no issues. However the last bra I bought (soft taupe) the back of the eye closure was very scratchy and made my back itch when I wore this bra.

They changed the material used and it is very uncomfortable. Another issue is the wires cut into the side of my body. I do not like this bra and will be throwing it out. It was a waste of money. I tend to buy online, but if you purchase in the store, inspect it carefully.

If they all come this way now, I cannot recommend it.

Since I am planning to order an additional bra, I should explain why I gave this bra only four stars instead of five. When I first tried on the bra, the 38C, which is my normal size, was too tight but once I struggled to get it fastened, it stretched to fit perfectly! The fabric is smooth and the cup size is comfortable and looks nice.

I have washed once and air-dried and it continues to fit well! I think the cup size is a true “C” cup but the band size might run slightly small. I measure precisely 38” around but if I were between sizes, I think I would order one size up.

This is the best bra I’ve ever worn. The fabric is very comfortable even in the hot, muggy summers of Georgia and it can be hand washed and air dried overnight. The practical, no-frills appearance adds to the comfort and durability.

It stays where I want it to be, no tugging and trying to pull the bra back into place. I’m very pleased with the two I’ve purchased and will buy more soon before they change something.

Spanx is a great company, but this is a poorly-made bra. It has so little structure that the middle section (between the cups) floats up, and breasts get pushed together. (It is even starting to happen on the small-busted model in the pic of the beige bra, so imagine what would happen with the fuller bust for which this bra is designed.

) This creates a “uniboob” look and feel, as old-school sports bras do. It makes breasts appear smushed. lower, and wider–a larger appearance than most regular bras. Unflattering. (And yes, I’m wearing the correct size!) Poor construction, no structure, thin, poor-quality fabric.

I had been buying a different brand of bra. That brand did not fit me like a glove like this Brand does. Teresa, the lady that works in lingerie, was a joy to work with. She helped me buy this and several undergarments to go under a special event dress, which I also purchased at Dillards.

I love this bra so much I bought it in many different colors. It is amazing, fit is good, style is good, but, most importantly, it lifts and feels so comfy.

When I first tried it on, I thought it fit great. After wearing it twice – not so much. It’s hard to tell how a bra really fits by just trying it on. So, I bought the size based on the sizing + measurements on your site.

I had the bra on the last hooks and it really needed to be even tighter – I should have gone a size smaller. Also the strap adjustment is so minimal on this bra, it wasn’t enough. I needed the straps tighter.

The center front between the cups is so wide, and the bra doesn’t fit right, so it sticks out and you can see it poking forward through the shirt – again, I needed it tighter around. I really can’t return it now though because I’ve worn it :(.

Guess I’ve been wearing comfort bras for too long because this bra feels horrible on. There are no pads, so if you have “nipple issues,” everybody will know it. And like one other reviewer noted, my breast look like they’ve been deflated up top because the bra just doesn’t fit properly.

Going up definitely would not fix the issue and going down would be too small. Oh well, clearly it works for some. just not for me.

I love the embroidered minimiser brassiere for the following three reasons: Firstly, this brassiere is designed specifically for full busted women, it is not, as sadly the vast majority of brassieres on the market are, designed for small-breasted woman and then just made in a bigger size for fuller breast sizes, therefore completely failing to offer the correct shaping and placement of the bust.

This brassiere makes sure that one’s full bust is shaped and placed correctly. Secondly, the support it gives isn’t comparable to any other brassiere I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot! I can run at full-pace in this brassiere and dance like a crazy lady and I feel and am fully supported.

Thirdly, prettiness!! Which is so important! Again, the vast majority of full-bust sized brassieres available offer only ugly style plain ‘grandma-ish’ (no offence to grandmas, I love them! I just don’t want to dress like one as a young woman!) or dull or ugly colours (the ever-offered beige, white and black! – Yawn and sad tear!) I was so excited when Triumph came out with this style in Baby’s Cheek, bought 3 pairs! I would have bought 4, but they had sold out in store when I first purchased them last year.

Lastly, the reason however I only gave four stars and not five is due to the fact that this brassiere sadly is a little unattractive when worn with a lightweight top or knit, as the seam is very visible through the fabric of any top that is not heavy.

Also, as far as colours go, makers of fuller-busted brassieres still have much room for improvement. how about pink with polka-dots or bow patterns? We want cuteness and ‘flirty-ness’ also in our brassieres! But please, no see-through fabric!.

I read the full description and it says it exactly, it’s true. The side coverage means no bulges, the thin underlay at the side keeps it smooth under tees, the lace is slightly stretchy and it looks like the photo on me, yet is fine and lightweight.

The straps are great. This is the best bra I have ever worn for fit and comfort. The centre bar fits right against my skin. I wear 36C. I am going to buy the navy and have the black and will continue wearing this bra.

This bra has been thoughtfully improved on all bras I have worn previously.

After a recent breast reduction I had no clue to what size I was so headed in to Myer and started trying on every bra in what felt like every size! Triumph Lacy Minimiser won me over, I was able to purchase the black and nude colours instore and the assistant helped me to do an online order for the silver as the store was out of stock in my size.

The fabric is so soft and with the insert panel covering nipples leaves a very nice decorative lace. The fit is perfect doesn’t dig in anywhere, I’ve found it as comfortable as wearing a crop top. I’ve been wearing bras for almost 40 years and I can say with full confidence, this could be the most comfortable bra I have ever worn!.
