A frying pan for glass top stove is a kitchen cooking utensil specially designed for use on smooth cooktop ranges. The bottom of the pan is usually flat and smooth, with a slightly raised rim to prevent food from sliding off.
The sides of the pan may be either straight or flared.
20 Best Frying Pan For Glass Top Stove
1. Carote 12.5-inch Nonstick Deep Skillet Frying Pan with Glass Lid
The original and highest nonstick performance from Swiss brand ILAG, which is one of the most famous healthy coating brand in the world, Carote cookware deserved this exclusive cooperation with ILAG, to satisfy the customer needs at the top level.
This essential woody collection, is a range offer ultra use and durable stone nonstick, with extremely scratch-resistant, increasing the lifetime of fry pan. The easy-to-clean surface ensures that no time is wasted on washing and more time can be spent on cooking.
Carote and ILAG’s innovation of this rough surface, which is due to the typical stone pigment that enhanced the abrasion and let the pan be more pratical. Three times more energy efficient than other meterial, the aluminum is the suitable weight, eliminating any arm strain.
The ergonomic, stay cool handle offers a comfortable grip for maximum control. With Carote, experience the ease of nonstick expertise.
As soon as I removed my frying pan from the box, I washed it in warm, soapy water, then put some organic sunflower oil in the bottom of the pan. I used my silicone brush to spread the oil, then I put the pan over a low/medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the oil to cook in and season the pan, as per instructions.
Last night, I used my fryer for the first time scrambling eggs. I did not add additional oil. WOW!! It truly is nonstick! I’m sorry I didn’t think about getting a pic, I can add one later, but the eggs literally slid out of the pan into the bowl.
Slid! Right Out!Use either silicone or wooden cooking utensils. Using metal or even hard plastic could diminish the life and performance of the nonstick surface. After removing the scrambled eggs, my only cleanup was with a paper towel.
I did not wash my skillet as there was really no food residue and it had just been seasoned. I will probably re-season it after every three or four uses just to make sure that it stays in new condition.
The handle did not get hot, like some people complain. I kept the handle turned away from the stove and well away from the burner. I also have a small saucepan from this maker and that handle does not give me problems with getting hot, either.
The one thing I love about this particular maker is that the entire skillet, or pan, is covered in their no stick, so I don’t worry about reactive foods such as tomatoes coming in contact with the rim.
Heat distribution is even throughout the entire cooking surface. No hot or cold spots. Just wipe clean with a paper towel. If you do need heavier cleaning, if you seasoned it before use, I recommend just a plain water rinse and then wipe dry with a paper towel.
This 8″ skillet is not flimsy, it has a nice quality feel and weight. I love the wooden handle, but I’m attentive to where the handle is in relation to my burner’s flame. This cookware is sturdy and mean to last a lifetime, which it will if you treat it with care and respect.
I highly recommend hand washing, and to season your cookware, even your saucepans before their first use and occasionally thereafter. One caution here, though. The 8″ skillet, which is what i”m reviewing, did not come with it’s own lid.
Be careful about purchasing ‘universal fitting lids’ that are made to fit two or three sizes of skillets and pans with the same lid, because the handles on this maker’s cookware are high, which will cause a universal lid to not sit down completely on the cookware, so you’ll need to buy ‘to fit’ lids.
I suggest that if you want to protect your no-stick coating but want to stack this cookware, as I need to as I’m a full time RV’er, to put paper towels, or small towels in the bottom of each cookware to be stacked.
Happy Cooking, Everyone! I know I’m thrilled with no longer having to scrape my food off the bottom of my cookware, or scrub it clean!! Yay!.
I put this pan through its paces tonight. I glazed a sauce, sauteed shrimp & veggies & fried mixed veggies. I used different heats from low to high, and I cooked with oils, liquids, and sauces. Pros:- Distributed heat very evenly even though I have one of those burners that are always slightly tilted.
– Heats up fast and readjust fairly quickly when heat is lowered. Handles high heat as well as it does low heat. I had nothing scorching from random “hot spots” on the surface. – It’s very lightweight and very sturdy.
– Handle is comfortable to hold and work with. It stayed completely cool no matter what level of heatI cooked with. – The cooking surface is much smoother than I anticipated. – The sides are high and curved enough for sauteeing and turning items.
Now I did use only wooden and silicone utensils with this but it doesn’t seem overly fragile. I wasn’t worried about carefully using the wooden spatula to turn foods. When I was done with different foods, everything just slid so easily out of the pan and onto the serving plate.
The only oil I used was enough to coat my fingers and rub onto the cooking surface of the pan. I did use more oil later but that was for my actual recipe. The best of all is how easy this cleans up. I treated it like my cast iron and avoided immersing it in water.
I used a damp rag and wiped it thoroughly. Even though I simmered a sauce for a sticky glaze, every trace wiped right out with very little effort on my part. And I can’t get over how lightweight it is.
This pan is freaking amazing. I am now looking to get the 11-inch version with a lid or a deeper one so that I can do larger amounts of sauce.
These pans are well made and a unique coating that allows eggs to be flipped w/o use of tools. A important aspect for these types of pans. Love the wood look handle made from a nice heat resistant resin.
Coating of pan is stick free and feels very durable. Only issue was the poor packaging from Carote. Even Post office commented that the product inside was clanging and box seemed huge. These 2 pans had no cushioning like bubble wrap, except on handle thus the pans them selves were banging around against each other.
Thank goodness coating was so hard. Box was huge. About 15 or more of these pans could fit in it. That needs attention at Carote, otherwise a 5 star.

This is my second go-around with this machine. I had one that lasted just under a year, but when it died Cuisinart repaired the machine, and then once repaired it lasted another two years making great espresso.
The steam wand did break off after the first year but I generally just make three americanos each morning so it wasn’t too big of a problem. That machine finally died and was out of warranty so I decided to give it another shot (get it, shot)! I purchased this machine on Amazon on 2/7/20 and was overall very pleased.
The portafilter began to get clogged however in May which would cause the machine to jam with pressure and wasn’t able to push coffee through. I have a pretty high-end Breville smart grinder but thought that could be the issue so I took some beans to a commercial-grade coffee grinder and am having the same issue.
According to Amazon, it’s been too long for a return so I contact Cuisinart and after 33 minutes of giving them information and waiting on hold, I was told that this model isn’t available for replacement.
They said I could pay for shipping both ways and cover the potential cost of repairs if they were able to repair it that is, which they wouldn’t know how much that would be until they completed it. Shipping was about $40 each way according to the very nice customer service girl on the phone.
So I can be guaranteed to pay $80 for roundtrip shipping and if they can repair it, whatever cost they decide to charge me for that???? Way to stand behind your products Cuisinart!! Fortunately, I purchased an extended warranty through Amazon (def do it if taking a chance with this machine as I’ve had 3 of them and 2 of the 3 didn’t make it 1 year) and I’ve started the claim process there and am hopeful that they can help me out because Cuisinart certainly isn’t interested in being helpful! If you take a chance with this coffee maker I hope you have a good back-up in place b/c it’s not if, but when it will let you down!.
I purchased this pan to replace my large Zwilling ceramic fry pan. It was a great pan, but over time, despite repeated “facials” with a baking soda paste, food began sticking to it with greater frequency.
I wanted to return to a traditional PTFE nonstick skillet but had a hard time finding one that was induction ready and met my requirements, This one suits me because it is thicker aluminum than most, for more even heat spread, The sidewalls are neither too vertical nor too flared.
The handle is comfortable and I was pleased to see that despite having a smaller base than my old pan, it heated quickly on my largest hob. I’ve lived with it now for about a month and have found that release is excellent, as expected for a new PTFE pan, and cleanup is easy.
My only quibble, and it’s a small one, is with the rivets for both handles. I prefer them to be coated or at least flush with the pan’s surface. These are neither and food tends to get caught around the edges.
Repeated scrubbing there will eventually begin to chip away at the coating around the rivets, but it’s something I can live with because it’s on the sidewalls, Soaking will help to loosen food. Overall, I’m very happy with the pan and will be replacing my smaller ceramic fry pans with the 8″ and 10″ sizes in the next few days.
It’s a great size. Feels like a good weight. First time used, however, some melted cheese stuck to the pan. While the cheese slid off after soaking, there were leftover black spots in the plan. Additional soaking did not help.
Boiling dog not help. Eventually using some baking soda send to help. I did not use anything sharp or sharp or scratchy. The marks are still faintly there. It also looks scratched up in spite of gently cleaning.
Craving Pasta da Vinci – but not the time it always takes to clean up after a cream sauce? Swiss Diamond’s 10. 25 inch (26 cm) skillet is your go-to partner for easy cleaning and perfect pasta sauces every time! It’s true, just hand wash with a bristle brush or sponge and dish soap.
Heavy duty aluminum spreads heat evenly around the pan, so your sauce won’t scorch. Whether you have a ceramic stove, glass top range, or even gas burners, this pan will meet your needs. It will soon become your favorite cooking companion, as you discover how easy it can be to prevent burning and reduce wash time.
It also makes an ideal gift for Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza and other holidays, because it’s made to stand the test of time.
I have a decent collection of Non-stick, stainless steel, and cast iron cookware. My experience (there are exceptions to this rule) is that you get what you pay for. My cookware consists of All-Clad, Mauviel, and Le Creuset.
I was a little disappointed in the non-stick pieces I own with the exception of the Mauviel products but had read enough reviews on Swiss Diamond to try the 9. 5″ with lid. 1 – this has a good heft/weight it feels like you didn’t buy something inconsequential and that weight is accompanied by a great handle, easily the best on any product I own.
2 – the base does a great job of transferring heat and the instruction book will tell you to keep from using “high” heat settings on it. You won’t need high, ever. I’ve not used anything above “medium” settings and can easily sear anything at this level.
3 – they should promote the lid more than they do. I really didn’t realize that it has a vent feature built into the handle at the center of the lid. This comes in handy if you’d like to see some reduction of the consistency (liquid) of what you’re preparing and it’s adjustable.
4 – too early for me to comment on its longevity but Swiss Diamond has a Warranty for the Lifetime of the product with certain caveats, you can’t be using steel utensils, nor metallic scrub brushes, etc.
Read the warranty and keep metal out of your pan, IMO. I can easily wipe out the pan with a paper towel and then wash it by hand and it looks like it will last a long time. I’ll be buying a saucepan next to see how that works out.
I’m buying the HD Induction models – I’ve been using the skillet daily for only 2 weeks, so I can only base this review on that experience. 5 stars, easily!.
This is my 3nd purchase of the same pan. I use the pan 1 to 2 times a day. I have had both the “regular” HD and the XD. Spend the extra money and get the XD, it is worth it. It is more durable and will last longer.
Don’t heat above 60% and use plastic. The very latest model have a much thicker bottom, which works well. Be aware, it does produce a little high pitch humming when used on an induction appliance. The previous model did not.
Web site states it does not. It is wrong. The manual that come with the pan states that the pan will produce a hum. It is frustrating that Swiss Diamonds web site is so out of date. Pictures etc. The labeling (models, etc.
) on the boxes shipped vs the website do not match, which can be confusing. It is not a deep fry pan, however it has the most flat area of a 10 inch fry pan, with allows me to cook a lot of food vs. other 10 in.
pans. The top that can be purchased with the pan works great. The top has lasted through all 3 of my pans (~10 yrs). The non-stick is fantastic. Eggs will not stick (with NO oil) for well over a year.
Read the instructions to learn now to maintain the pan. I know the pan is $150, however, you can see all the frustration of people buying pan after pan trying to find a “true & real” non-stick pan, this pan is truly non-stick.
I cook eggs every day in it, with NO oil, and they don’t stick for a couple of years. With this pan, I am going to be more careful with cleaning, utensils, and heat. All the best.
I never write reviews but I read then and do research. I read reviews on Swiss Diamond cookware and decided to give these pans a try. I do believe these pans will last years. Nothing stinks to them. I made a sweet and sour sauce that’s very sticky and it didn’t stick.
I fixed hamburgers with melted cheese, it didn’t stick. These pans are amazing! The only thing that bothered me is the larger skillet is a little heavy and I have arthritis. But, to get good quality it’s going to be a little heavier.
I just grabbed the smaller skillet that wasn’t as heavy and problem solved. I’m glad I purchased two different sizes and I will be buying more. These pans are a must have. You will spend a little more money but only once because if you buy cheaper pans you will be replacing them a lot.
These will last many years. I liked these pans so much, I’m writing a review when I never do.
Caraway Home’s 10. 5 inch non-stick, non-toxic Fry Pan allows for healthy cooking in the kitchen without harmful chemicals. Perfect for eggs, searing steak, and sautéing veggies, and more. Featuring a ceramic-coated interior, this durable non-stick pan makes cooking easier than ever, cleaning (dare we say) enjoyable, and adds a pop of color to any home.
This is a very good pan based on using the pan for one month. Time will tell for overall build and non-stick quality after using for 1, 3 and possibly 5 years. Lasting 5 years would likely raise the overall rating to excellent, currently too soon to call.
The Caraway fry pan is sturdy, having a hybrid steel base and aluminum pan. For this reason, it should work fine on induction cooktops. The pan is so non-stick, it is difficult to lubricate the pan with oil or butter which separates across the surface rather than adhering to the bottom flat.
Lubricating the pan is therefore a question of flavoring and not needed to prevent sticking. I have not experienced any cooking result which stuck to the pan. When cooled, the pan is easily cleaned by warm soapy water, rinse and wipe dry.
My only criticism is recommended care which came as a separate instruction in the Caraway pan box and limits cooking temperatures to medium heat or lower. While max. of medium heat will undoubtedly extend the life of the pan, this is undesirable in various cooking methods, especially when trying to brown.
Due to this recommended cooking temperature, I use another non-Caraway pan for browning. On the Caraway web site, having bottom browned eggs with runny yolks, sunny side up would be nearly impossible using medium heat or less, as recommended by Caraway provided cooking care instructions.
I considered buying a lid but prefer glass lids to be able to view cook status without letting the heat out. If glass lids are offered, I will also purchase a lid but not from the currently exclusive opaque lids offerings.
Purchased as a Xmas gift for my mom who didn’t have a non-stick frying pan for years. I gave it to her early while home for the holidays after she read a food preparation instruction that required a “non-stick” pan for stir-fry.
Unboxing was a beautiful presentation. My mom was really impressed! The cork trivet with bow, and Caraway logo’d protective bag are very nice touches, as well as the box it came in. Perfect for gift giving.
We prepped the 10. 5” gray fry pan as instructed and very pleased with its performance so far. I used it everyday during my 1 week stay, and plan on getting myself one as well. The quality is definitely noticeable, both in fabrication and performance.
It does what it’s intended to do, and distributes the heat evenly while cooking. Note that my mom has a new slide in electric range with glass cooktop that heats very quickly, and cooking on medium heat worked well with this pan.
The handle remained relatively cool as well. Love how it arrives in its own protective bag, which is used to protect the pan while stored away in the cabinet. Not sure if it’s necessary, but instructions do advise to use wood or plastic on the ceramic cooking surface, so the bag will keep it protected if other pans happen to be stacked on top.
One thing to note is that I shopped for a 10. 5” cover elsewhere and it did not fit, but a 10” did, even though a bit loose. A 10. 25” would have been ideal, but couldn’t find. It’s due to the metal thickness of the Caraway pan.
So, this was a perfect Xmas gift, that I was happy to use as well.
They are most definitely a beautiful product, and super easy to clean. However within the first week of use, there are already two spots where the coating has chipped off. I treat these pots as though they’re made of glass, I read how to be gentle with them.
Only use silicone utensils already (have since they were a thing) do NOT slide them across the burners, I hand wash them once they’ve cooled a bit. Even my husband has noticed how I treat them, and he notices nothing.
So to have two chips already really irritates me as these are not $30 skillets covered in traditional non stick coating. (which doesn’t chip within the first week, not even after 2 months) Would I recommend them, probably not.
Do not get me wrong, they are lovely looking, and the easiest clean up ever, but with the cost, they should hold up for years, especially if one treats them as tenderly as I do. Thank you for esthetically pleasing cookware, it’s just too difficult treating them as they are fine crystal, and they’re already chipping.

8 x 1. 5-inch deep, 14. 75-inches with handle, 10 x 2-inch deep, 18. 5-inches with handle.
This set is an absolute must in my kitchen! I love my stainless steel All-Clad pots and pans because they are made well and are very healthy to cook with. My one problem was not being able to cook eggs successfully in them.
The All-Clad D3 Stainless Steel Nonstick Skillets solved this problem, and I am very, very happy with this purchase! I cook them on medium heat (setting 4), and they always turn out beautifully, no matter what form I cook them (scrambled, omelet, etc.
). The pans are so easy to clean, too, and they always look brand new! I use them every day!!! (Note: I was not paid or compensated to write this review. ).
I had this pan replaced after 8 months of use because the non-stick surface was flaking off. All-clad swore it was from me using too much heat. I found that interesting as I have 8 other regular stainless pans and certainly know how to cook on the proper heat levels.
They replaced the original pan, and a year later the replacement pan started flaking off. So, it’s hitting the landfill and I’ll buy those $25 T-FAL stainless pans at Target and use them. At least I won’t cry as much when I toss it after a year or so and only be out $25 instead of $150.
I am giving this five stars with the caveat that the test of a pan is over time-years at least. Especially non stick pans. I’ve gone through many that started out 5 stars but did not last. I purchased the 8 and 10 inch as a package deal.
I believe they were a good buy. They are made in the U. S. I will not buy Chinese cookware. So far I’ve cooked eggs, omelets etc and they function as anticipated. They also heat evenly unlike poor quality pans.
The buying experience was easy and the delivery was prompt. So far so good.

I purchased my Gotham Steel pan at Walmart. As I experienced first-hand (and as you will ALSO experience!), the pan’s non-stick surface stopped working after a few months. I fell for the company’s (Emson) TV infomercials and slick packaging bogus advertisements.
I was also SHOCKED to see enclosed in the packaging the company’s (un-enforceable!) binding-arbitration agreement: It says you can’t sue the company if the product doesn’t work. That summarizes everything you need to know about the quality and effectiveness of Gotham Steel products.
Do additional research BEFORE purchasing any Gotham Steel products!.
I’m giving it a 5 rating because it’s so nice looking even though there was a very small imperfection. It’s deeper than what I though and the sides aren’t curved very much like a regular frying pan; but, that makes it good for a small casserole as well with the glass lid which is nice with a hefty metal handle.
The only thing I didn’t like was that it had a small imperfection a long the rim of the pot. Looked like a scratch with a slight raised feel; but, wasn’t sharp; so, I’m keeping it because it was hardly noticeable.
This Gotham Steel Frying pan with lid is the best non stick product to fry a thick piece of salmon fillet. At medium, two 5/8 inch fillet cook quickly in about 10 minutes. The flat base of the pan is very straight and heat is distributed evenly during cooking.
The skin on is the best as it protects the delicate flesh and keeps it moist during cooking. The Gotham Glass Lid has a small orifice at the top that allows steam to escape while letting the fillet become tender with a smoky taste.
The Sylas cook ultimate nonstick saucepan with Glass Lid has been designed to make everyday use A pleasure. In addition to offering the ultimate non-stick performance, The Swiss engineered 3 layer coating is also metal utensil safe and scratch resistant.
This saucepan offers a healthy way of cooking. No oil or butter required! A robust forged aluminium construction ensures even heat distribution. A soft touch ergonomic handle has been added to the glass lid.
The heat-resistant handle ensures comfort and stability when handling your favourite dishes. Sylas ultimate nonstick pans are induction, gas, electric stove top and oven safe up to 356 F. The Sylas ultimate nonstick saucepan with glass lid is dishwater safe.
This is by far the best general purpose pan I have ever owned. I use it most days for a variety of different foods. The non stick element is amazing and the fact you don’t need to add any additional oil makes it even better and a healthier way to cook.
I use it to cook fried rice, curries, spaghetti bol, bacon, sausage and the list goes on. The depth of the pan is perfect for our family of 5 including 2 very hungry teenagers. The heat is distributed evenly across the whole pain so the food cooks through at the same time.
Having the extra small handle on the side makes it easy to lift off the hob. Also, as it comes with a lid it means I can cook dishes in advance and leave it with the lid on until I’m ready to reheat and serve.
I hate leaving food uncovered so this works really well for me when I’m busy and need to cook in advance. It’s really easy to wash aswell as long as you don’t use a scourer on the inside. A soft cloth or sponge does the trick and then it’s good to go again.
I would definitely recommend this pan to anyone, it’s a great addition to my kitchen.
I have no complaint with the seller. Fast response and shipping. Price fair. The cover for the small ironing board did not fit ANY of the five small, portable ironing boards I have. I MADE it fit with string and many safety pins and it is doing its job but it is going to be difficult to take off to wash and put back on again.

I was a little skeptical about buying these at first, I never really believed in the nonstick marketing and also the idea that I shouldn’t use high heat in the kitchen had me close to walking away from this product.
At the end of the day I felt adventurous and decided to challenge myself to try something new and I’m glad I did. The pans 2/3 months in of daily use are still holding up to their non-stick qualities and I absolutely love not having to NEED to use fats/oils.
I only use them for flavor instead of for their nonstick properties and it feel satisfying to have better control of those ingredients in the kitchen. Regarding the recommendation of not using high-heat, I thought it would be a problem but the pans evenly distribute the heat so well that I haven’t felt the need to use high heat period.
My gas stove on low-mid is generally enough for almost all my dishes. It truly surprised me. I’ve even been surprised by the synergy of these pans working with low heat as well. Happy customer! The style is also beautiful.
Stainless steel with a cobalt glossy inside. I get compliments on these and my Zwilling Bamboo Easel Knife set all the time. Both of these products have turned me into Zwilling fiend! My only word of caution is if you saute and you like to do the saute snap and you have a gas stove, be mindful of the metal touching the burner grates as they can scratch the bottom of the pots with that friction.
I was trying to compliment this company for making a great set of nonstick cookware without PTFE. However, I guess they consider this topic too controversial. The cookware industry has sneaky ways of including PTFE in their products and trying to keep it Hush Hush by calling it something else maybe.
Or by mentioning that they have no PFOA in it, but nothing about PTFE. I had to return another set of cookware because of that. Then I found this one, which is great. At least the other company had the decency to put a warning in their information pamphlet (in very fine print) that “cooking fumes” can kill pet birds.
They did not make the distinction that it isn’t cooking fumes in general but fumes from PTFE. Maybe my review was not acceptable because Zwilling does make other cookware that still does have PTFE in it.
I hope they at least include a warning about the danger to pet birds, as well. If they are going to pick and choose which reviews to publish, what good are the reviews?.
Im tired of reading all these reviews about everything sticking. If you use it properly things will not stick. Period. It IS a non stick pan. it works like this you heat it before you put in oil. Not higher than medium-med high heat.
after a minute of just heat add oil. Let it heat a minute with oil in it one its hot enough that water rolls or is close to that cook your food. I do this with eggs. I let them sit in the pan turn them a couple of time and the eggs stick minimally and is a total breeze to clean.
Dont wash the pan in the dishwasher, dont use abrasive and dont heat on high or past 400 degrees. Its a lot to do and they must be cared for just like your pets, just like anything else that you want to work for a long time.
So everyone just stop complaining and start taking responsibility for things. Dont expect everything to work for you without you doing anything in return. Is called “maintenance” dont TREAT everything like its disposable.

The Venice Pro Noir 12” frypan is a very sturdy pan! The advanced coating is said to be infused with real diamonds to make it “ultra-tough”. It’s stainless steel and finished with a healthy ceramic nonstick coating.
This pan is by far my favorite to use, it’s super slick nothing I’ve cooked so far has had an issue with sticking or burning to the pan. Because the nonstick is so amazing it makes clean up super EASY! This has been my go-to pan for the past few weeks and can see it staying that way until I purchase another pan just like it! Highly Recommend.
This is hands down the best frying pan I have ever used. I used to be a big fan of ceramic finish pans, but this non-stick professional pan infused with a diamond coating is absolutely amazing! I used to use nonstick sprays, but I am having to wean myself off of them due to the fact that they can damage the pan’s finish, and I certainly don’t want that to happen.
I have been using minimal olive oil and it works just great. The pan heats evenly, cooks quickly and absolutely does NOT stick. I 100% recommend this pan to any cook, it is top notch!.
Swiss Diamond’ s largest skillet the 12. 5 inch Induction Fry Pan is indispensable for every family chef. The included glass lid makes it easy to monitor food and prevent splatter. Swiss Diamond’ s patented coating browns like stainless steel but cleans up like nonstick – a dream come true for any cooking enthusiast! Thanks to advanced technology this durable induction pan is guaranteed to never buzz on the stovetop.
Cast aluminum construction will never warp and heats food evenly and efficiently. Real diamond crystals are embedded in the nonstick coating to create a durable and resilient cooking surface.
I have had this same pan in the non-induction version for over 10 (much longer probably) and use it 4-5 times weekly. It’s my favorite and I wouldn’t have added the new induction version save for the non-stick coating finally wearing off.
By far the best pan I’ve ever used and I cook daily in my home. The new pan is superior to my “original” the only comment I have is the weight which has increased significantly due to the more flexible cooking method use.
While I do not have an induction range yet, that is in my sight for the relatively near future, currently using natural gas on a commercial range. The best yet if weight is of a serious consideration, some might find this pan challanging to handle.
That being said, this IS the largest fry pan I use regularly.
The Allumi-shield Frying Pan by Classic Cuisine is durable, multi-use, aluminum cookware with non-stick coating for healthier cooking and easy clean up. The 8 inch frying pan has an a specially designed thick -steel bottom for even heat distribution to efficiently create delicious and savory meals.
This pan is oven proof up to 350F, dishwasher safe, compatible with gas, electric, and glass stove tops, and is also non-stick for a premium cooking experience that will last for years.
I bought two of these as opposed to the traditional black Teflon frying pans. I destroyed my last large black Teflon pan due to overheating and decided to try these. The pans are very elegant looking and first four or five times I used them I didn’t see any difference, nothing stuck and I thought, “Ok, these must be alright and an alternative to the black Teflon.
” Subsequently, things started sticking, not badly but a fried egg would leave a small thin portion stuck to the bottom. It would release after rubbing it with a plastic spatula but in comparison I never had that problem with black Teflon ever, even after years of regular use.
So it’s a frying pan and it fries stuff but my experience is that after less than a months use it is not as non-stick as black Teflon and just in case you’re wondering, I did not overheat them. I’m not an expert and I can’t ever seem to make a cast iron pan work but I won’t buy these again because I need a fail safe pan for my ineptness.
Maybe others use them with great success, not this guy though.
So far, so good. I needed to replace my non-stick skillets (t-fal) that were several years old, as they showed signs of wear and flaking. I hesitated because of health and safety issues, and was concerned about feeling mis-led about it being all right to use metal utensils without fear of the finish being degraded.
So I got this skillet in 2 sizes and also got a silicon fork/spatula to use with them, for the safety concerns. It seems like they were good choices and, after several uses, I feel confident that these were good choices, both for safety and for nice cooking use.
Theyseem like they will stay nice and easy to clean.
They are great for the first month. Then things start to stick. The problem is stuff seems to seize to the pan, and even if you soak it or deglaze with vinegar it won’t come out. And if you scrub it, they go down hill even faster.
The even stick with oil. How is that possible? We have the old generic non stick that lasted longer for less than half the price, and when they wear out, at least you can use oil as a regular fry pan.
They cost $20 for an 8/10/and 12 inch set. Save your receipt or just save your time and money. it’s up to you.
Invite SHAQ into your kitchen when you add the 12 inch frying pan to your cookware collection! Durable ceramic coated surface with a 3D diamond pattern distributes the heat to your food for a quick and even cook.
The nonstick cooking surface offers effortless food release and cleanup. It’s oven safe for added versatility, and the ergonomic brushed handle is sturdy and comfortable, it’ll make you want to cook dinner more often!.
Honestly, I was amazed at how great these pans are! My frying pans are the most used pans in my kitchen. I haven’t found anything decent at an affordable price. I saw these and took a chance. So glad I did!! Wow! Food slides off the pan.
Super slick surface. Even heat distribution and seriously, clean up up is a breeze! These were well worth every penny!.
This is the second SHAQ skillet and lid we have purchased and we love it! It’s easy to clean and hasn’t shown any “wear ‘n’ tear!” However, I will say that we also purchased a SHAQ Air Fryer which we enjoyed but it suddenly quit working.
We followed all of the “trouble shooting” ideas but to no avail. We had told many of our friends about the Air Fryer and how pleased with it we were but I must admit we’re disappointed.
I bought the set of pans over a month ago. I ordered this to add to my set. These are great! They seem to hold their no stick magic well. This pan is such a perfect size for a family. I love that it comes with a lid!.
The Rocks unique manufacturing process uses small metal pellet impact technology to modify the surface to form an ultra durable rock-like finish. The result is an outstanding release performance 3 times better than traditional nonstick cookware.
The extra thick forged aluminum base give you everything you need for optimum heat distribution and ease of use.
This pan is just the right size and, of course, I need the lid. The no-stick is great. My last pan was good for several years, and I still use it, but the no-stick finally stopped working. I still use it, and I’m keeping the new pan for when I really *need* no-sticking.
IMO, 10 inches is not quite big enough, and the 12-in. pan sort of duplicates what I already have. The 11-inch is the perfect size for most thing, and sometimes it is hard to find. Very happy with this purchase.
I bought a set of “The Rock” pans about 18-24 months ago. I have loved the pans for a long time! I cook a lot and they all get used frequently. I bought them for the non warp warranty because my expensive Calphalon set was warped to the point they were useless.
I bought a skillet at Walmart and absolutely fell in love with it and bought a set. I’m not so happy now. The pans I use most (sauce pans and skillets) are looking rough. I make a lot of gravies and sauces and use a stiff coated whisk.
My pans and one skillet have lost most of the coating and I have one pan that is slightly warped. The outside of the pans doesn’t clean as well as the inside. Unfortunately, I bought all my pans in Sand.
I love the color, but every little spot shows. They hang on a pot rack, so they are on display. I’ll be trying to use my warranty (10 years). I’ll follow up with the results.
We moved into a home that had a glass cook surface instead od the gas burners I was used to. Turns out every piece of cookware I brought with me *isn’t* flat, and spins around the cooktop with great abandon.
Very annoying, since the food doesnt receive consistent heating, not to mention unsafe. This Starfrit (what kind of a name is that?) is utterly, completely flat on the bottom, and is an absolute joy to cook with.
The food is cooked consistently, and there’s no more chasing the pan around the stove. I’ve already ordered the griddle, and will eventually be replacing every piece of cookware I have with Starfrit.
This everyday pan features a durable construction to last through daily cooking. Extremely durable shot-blasted, hard-anodized exterior resists scratches. Heavy-gauge 4. 5mm aluminum base is designed to help prevent hot spots.

Compatible with gas, electric, glass ceramic and induction stoves. Lid, handles and non-stick coating are all oven safe up to 500°F. Tempered glass lid has a 13mm thick stainless steel rim to lock in moisture.
Foodi NeverStick Premium Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Glass Lid
Reviews From Real Customers
For me this pan is indeed an “Everyday Pan”. It is truly one pan that I can use to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the same day. I love the weight and feel of this pan which for me is a combination of a frying pan and a wok.
It’s lightweight, nonstick, extra large with two handles, has a glass lid and all can go from stove to oven (max 500°) to table. My Everyday Pan is dishwasher safe although I hand wash all my pot and pans.
I have been using my Everyday Pan over my 12″ frying pan as I prefer the feel and cooking capabilities over the skillet. The Everyday Pan is a little pricy, but with Ninja’s 10 year guarantee of non stick performance it was worth the price for me.
I love this pan! It’s so versatile, deep enough to make a family size casserole but not so heavy (like cast iron) that you can’t pick it up. Oven safe, glass cooktop safe, so far I haven’t even noticed a scratch even though I use it almost daily.
I would suggest Ninja brand put a coating on the lid handle because it gets very hot! That’s not even worth removing a star because this pan is awesome! I have 4 pieces now and I’m considering the wok next.
Oh how I love this pan. It’s big enough for our little family, it holds so much. This pan holds an entire frozen meal kit with plenty of room to double up if you have a larger family. Non-stick coating is perfect for those “leave it be” meals.
I’m so happy it came with a lid as many recipes call for the pan to be covered for a portion of the time. No long handles so you don’t have to worry about bumping the handle and spilling the contents or a child reaching up to grab it.
This lovely stainless steel cookware features ergonomic stay cool handles to make handling safe and easy. You will also enjoy the fact that all pans have flared brims for clean pouring. The tempered glass lids allow you to check the progress of what’s cooking.
The flat bottoms make these pans stable on flat cook tops and they are safe for use on all cook tops including induction. What you can’t see is equally impressive. This cookware is made of 21/0 stainless steel which has copper for superior conductivity, titanium for strength and 21% chromium to resist corrosion.
This steel does not have any nickel in it which is found in most stainless steel cookware. Nickel was not incorporated in this steel because it is an allergen and could leach during boiling. The Chantal 21 Stainless nonstick pans feature a ceramic surface that is PFOA and PTFE free so you don’t need to worry about unnecessary exposure to unpleasant elements from nonstick cooking.
Chantal Induction 21 Stainless Steel Cookware, beautiful inside and out!.

I’ve used these skillets for approximately 9 months now. Everything sticks. A Chantal representative provided “seasoning” instructions, which I have done; however, my scrambled eggs continue to stick stick to the bottom of the pan.
Last week, the larger skillet caused the skin side of the salmon I was cooking with lots of olive oil to stick. These pans are expensive and not worth it.
Nice and heavy-weight. Definitely not a thin flimsy pan you replace every few years. From handle to pan, a good quality, non-stick pan. I plan to ONLY make eggs in this pan and never use a spatula in it.
I have been swirling and flipping my eggs for a week now! I only wipe it out and rinse it out. The coating is so slick and great! I will be buying the larger version of this pan now. Love its long handle that doesn’t get hot.
I can BAKE in this pan!! Love it! Worth the price for sure.
The perfect addition to your kitchen’s cookware! The Starfruit Rock 11-inch Fry Pan includes a convenient glass lid so you can keep an eye on anything you cook and a rocklike finish that makes it extremely durable.
A thick, forged aluminum base makes this pan hardy and spreads heat evenly for precise and thorough cooking. The pan is also ovenproof, even under the broiler, up to 450 Degree and a convenient nonstick coating that ensures easy cleanup and healthier cooking.
This handy, long-lasting pan will quickly become a staple in any cooking endeavor!.
Care & Use Instructions: Before using your new cookware, wash thoroughly in hot soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge. Dry completely. For better non-stick performance, it is recommended to add a teaspoon of cooking oil prior to each use. Never heat an empty cooking utensil. Be sure there is oil, butter, liquid or food before placing the cookware on the range or burner. Always use low to medium heat setting. This cookware should never be used on a maximum heat setting either for pre-heating or cooking as excessive surface temperatures can cause permanent damage to the non-stick surface. Never cut anything in the cookware or use utensils with sharp edges as to avoid piercing the non-stick surface. Add salt to water only after it has come to a boil. Salt grain deposit on the cookware bottom will attack the metal as the heat melts it down. Never use metal scouring pads to clean the non-stick surface. Never put cold water into a hot cooking utensil. Let cookware cool down on its own or place it in lukewarm soapy water. If using a ceramic stovetop, lift the pan rather than sliding it across the glass plate. This cookware is oven safe up to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C). Higher cooking temperatures or longer cooking time can cause the handle to get hot. Always use oven mitts. Never put in the dishwasher. If placed in the dishwasher, the shine of the exterior coating may become dull and discolored due to the action of certain detergents. Our warranty does not cover this type of wear, as the performance of the cookware is not affected.

One day I’m singing along to New Kids On The Block, their newest single Hanging Tough playing on my favorite pop radio station. Me and my friends call in every hour to request it, taping it off the radio until we can save up enough babysitting money to buy the CD.
And suddenly I’m thinking to myself, ‘Wow, Consumer Reports was right. This ROCK pan IS dope!’ When did I first realize I have a favorite burner on the stove? Why is cookware organization so exciting? When did I get so old? I don’t know.
Here’s what I do know. Consumer Reports gave this pan a great review and I totally see why. It’s like if a non-stick pan and a cast iron pan had a love child. It heats evenly and won’t warp just like you’d expect from a cast iron, and heats quickly while absolutely nothing sticks to it like a non-stick.
Not only is cooking a little faster and easier, but the clean up is seconds-long. It’s my favorite pan. And I bought another and gave it as a gift. Then bought a third because it was bigger and has a lid.
Purchased this pan in 2017. It worked Great for the first 2 years. I cooked everything in it trying to be oil free. After that it slowly started to loose its inside lining and foods were sticking. It has not been non-stick for over a year and half and is trash.
The warranty when I purchased it was for 10 years. I wrote to the manufacturer and of course like almost all insurances, they claimed that I used the pan on “high heat” and that I used metal inside, so the warranty is no good.
I never did use metal, and I really don’t know what good a pan is if you can’t use it on your stove top. The pan is good if you expect to fill the garbage dump after 2 years of use.
Hopes were high when I saw this pan listed. I had been using a teflon pan that was too large for the small breakfast for which it had been used. I saw the commercial for this pan and it seemed to be a nice substitute for the teflon pan, and it was right sized for what I needed.
Out of habit, I sprayed the pan with oil before using it in the first few weeks I had it and was disappointed to find that when I put egg whites into the mixture, they immediately stuck to the pan. However, the size and weight for this pan was right and so I continued to use it.
Then I saw the commercial again, where it was indicated that a spray was not needed. So, I decided with my next breakfast meal to heat the pan and put in my breakfast mixture. All seemed to be going as it had, but when I poured in the egg whites I could see that they were immediately burning and sticking to the pan.
The worst part was cleaning it. It took plenty of scrubbing power, after scraping the pan with a plastic spatula, to get it cleaned. I admit that it’s possible I had the flame on too high. but come on, aren’t skillets made to take all levels of heat? I will keep the pan as a backup to the same sized real teflon pan that will certainly replace it.
This pan has a great nonstick coating over substantial aluminium. With very little and light use, the coating on the edge of the pan is peeling off. I have other Starfrit pans that have held up well and the handle does not become hot.
I would not not buy this particular product again, and am sorry I did.
I have had 2 other versions of this pan that I love one with a plastic handle and one with a metal handle. The plastic handle broke and I liked the metal handle better so I ordered 2 of these thinking they were the same as the one I had.
The pan is different, possibly better than my old one. however the handle on these gets very hot on top of the stove where my old one with a metal handle never got hot. The way they were shipped needs improvement, the handles were sticking through the box which looked like it was thrown/dropped a few times, also both lids have dents but still fit at least.
Description * Pre-Order With Confidence This non-stick pan is perfect for cooking eggs or other ingredients that tend to stick to traditional stainless steel pans. The unique honeycomb pattern creates a highly effective and durable non-stick surface that’s also incredibly easy to clean.
Our cookware keeps selling out. You can cancel anytime for a full refund.
I ordered the 10in nonstick skillet for my mom as a birthday gift back in April of 2021 and received it on August. Although shipping was long, it is understandable as the pans were being shipped from Italy.
I cooked eggs on it for the first time and let me tell you i made the best mfking eggs ive ever had in my life. The pan is high quality, not warped, light, very simplistic. just literally flawless. Im not even being paid to write this review the pan is just so nice.
My moms a stay at home mom and spends most of her time in the kitchen, and she says this is the best pan shes ever cooked with in her 60 years of living. If you’re hesitating in buying, just do it. The price looks scary but its worth it.
It’s November now and the pan still looks brand new. Make sure you clean & season the pan before using :).
We have a set of All Clad, which are generally great cookware. However, the non-stick pans have just not lasted. After about two-years, the non-stick properties are basically gone and the pan surface is pitted.
We do not use metal utensils so the pan has just worn out. I could not bring myself to buy another expensive All Clad that would just wear out so I figured I would buy a much cheaper pan that would also wear out but would be easy to replace.
After researching non-stick replacements, I found a review of the Sardel pans. It sounded like a combination of great quality and value, so I decided to try one. I finally received my skillet and could not be happier about the quality and non-stick surface! It is still early days, but the feel and texture of the non-stick surface and its non-stick effectiveness means that we put less pressure on the surface when cooking.
My only criticism is how long it took to receive my first order and the complete lack of communication. Basically I paid via PayPal and heard nothing until my pan showed up two months later! However, I decided to order a 12″ pan with lid yesterday and got a confirmation email and order number right away.
They also set expectations that the delivery time would not be for 3-7 weeks. I will see how it goes this time and leave another review. Still getting 5-stars because of the quality and value of the pan.
I ordered the 10” non-stick pan because I read really good reviews about Sardel, and the brand came up in my search for induction cookware. It wasn’t until I did a little more research that I discovered that Bobby Flay uses these pans and recommended them highly.
The Sardel pans are made in Italy, which translates to excellent craftsmanship and Italian-made products have always delivered in terms of quality. I’ve had a couple of months to use this pan and it has performed beautifully.
What I have never seen before is the honeycomb-patterned relief on the bottom of the pan, which seems to add to the performance of the non-stick pan. Nothing, and I mean nothing sticks to this pan. I barely need to use any kind of oil to make steaks, salmon, quesadillas, eggs.
It’s a wonderful pan. I will be ordering the 12” non-stick. I also think the price on this pan makes it an affordable choice for someone who is looking for quality. As a side note, the Sardel customer service is awesome too.
You might have to wait a little longer for this pan, but it’s worth the wait, and the customer service was very helpful in making sure I was happy with my purchase. The pan was beautifully packaged, and the Italian quality is superior.

Featuring shallow, curved sides, and constructed from heavy gauge aluminum, This NSF certified pan will provide even heat conduction for thorough cooking and browning.
Convenient to use, this fry pan boasts a non-stick coating for easy food release and has a riveted handle for a secure grip and ease of handling.
I’ve used this pan about four times already. I’m using it strictly for fried eggs and it works very well for that. Frying eggs on a medium-high heat with a tablespoon or so of oil cooks them beautifully and releases them very well.
The handle is very rigid and seems very securely attached. The overall finish could be just a bit better but you can’t really complain for the low cost. It actually has a nice weight to it considering how small it is and seems well balanced.
The metal handle gets very hot so you must use a towel or something when grabbing it. Considering purchasing those silicone pan handle grips. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with it thus far,.
Perfect for making french of American omelette, or simply fried eggs. Sides are high enough for folding omelette edges back on to themselves. Wipes clean with ease and the silicone hand protect your hands from high heat.
My first use went like a dream, I gave it a quick spritz with oil and my omelette was literally sliding around in the pan when it was ready to fold! Also, the rivets by the handle are coated in non-stick material too, which I really appreciate, because it sucks when that part is metal and collects a layer of burnt on gunk.
The handle is atrocious though, everyone is right when they say you need the silicone grip for it. It’s so uncomfortable otherwise because the corners are not rounded at all. This pan should really come with a handle grip standard.
