They were winning! I had even started spraying bug spray in the trash can with lid every morning, the drains at night. They were overtaking my apartment. As one person put it, it was like the fruit fly airport in my kitchen! I hung 1 in dining/kitchen area (away from food or food prep) no adverse effects to me or my cats.

I know what others are saying about how dangerous this product is to be in the presence of humans and pet for a prolonged period of time, but if used the right way, and in the right places, it is invaluable in getting rid of fruit flies and other insects.

I hang mine in the hallway between my bathroom and my bedroom where these pests seem to operate around. I’m barely in the hallway, and my bathroom, and bedroom doors are always closed, making it as safe as hanging the strips in a cupboard, or closet, as recommended.

A great product, at a great value, for great results. Who could ask for more than that?.

We hung these right over the towel hamper (which is where fruit flies like to hang out in our juice bar) and we didn’t notice any difference. I am actually really unimpressed with these for the price.

Additionally, the warnings on the product regarding inhalation dangers have me worried about putting them in our kitchen or press room where employees hang out. It identifies them as needing to be placed in open areas that are not frequented by people.

I’m confused. I thought these were “safe”. Now I have a box of 6 left that probably won’t get opened.

I’m going to be honest, I was skeptical at first about buying this fruit fly trap because so many store-bought items have let me down in the past. But wow, this thing really works. Within the first four days ALONE, this thing had attracted over a hundred fruit flies that we have been able to solve the problem with.

I guess I just wish there were larger ones! Because wow, these things work like a charm.

We have been careful not to leave any food exposed by putting everything down the garbage disposal immediately after we finish, or bagging bones and disposable utensils/paper goods right away. Some bugs have been attracted to each of the three traps placed in the kitchen, dining area and living room where the fruit flies follow the food.

Each one has attracted a few bugs and finished them off. Several are still flying free, They attack food we are preparing, food we are eating, and especially like to dive bomb ice cream and get caught in the goo.

Not worth the shipping cost or wait, let alone the price per trap.

The mosquito spray I ordered worked the time or two I used it but we didn’t have a bad mosquito season here so I didn’t have a lot of opportunity to try it out. The fruit fly trap did a very good job of collecting fruit flies.

With owning a winery, there’s lots of potential locations for fruit flies to find something that attracts them but the BB traps definitely collected a large number of flies over a two month period and helped to control the population.

They did seem to be very effective that entire time, which is great.

Let me just say this. I don’t normally leave reviews, but it was NECESSARY today. BTW, This was an in store purchase so I wasn’t contacted via email to review this item. So I must have been some kind of upset to come on this website to write about this.

Anyway, this kills ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, but smells great. I sprayed an insect in my home yesterday 5 TIMES. And after SO MANY MINUTES, it FINALLY ended up on it’s back. TODAY, I went back to find the insect STILL FIGHTING FOR IT’S LIFE.

I cannot make this stuff up. I just ended up throwing away the whole can I JUST bought because returning it would have been a waste of time. RAID, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m going back to the regular RED CAN RAID.

I would rather smell chemicals all day and know that it’s going to work than use something that smells good, but not work at all. And no thank you, i am not interested in the unscented one either.

This insect killer is made to kill a great deal of insects on initial contact. It can be used both inside and outdoor. Suggested use about 3 feet from interior walls, fabrics and furniture. Keep out of reach of children.

I would recommend it to anyone. Sold almost anywhere you purchase your home products.

Usually kills all bugs – except not houseflies! Spray it directly one foot away, 2 hours later it comes back to life, flies into my face, and yes, absolutely the same fly. Fought one for 3 days. Only thing that killed it was the flyswatter.

No, NOT different flies, I’m not stupid! Doors and windows are always closed. Tested many times, flies rise up like a Phoenix. Good on spiders, though. Works for most bugs, not houseflies. Get the green can for flies.

I was suffering from an infestation of tiny fruit flies. I’d sit down to a dinner in front of the TV and a flock of fruit flies would land on the edge of my beer glass. Then two Bug Botanist Fruit Fly Traps arrived, and I put one on my garbage can and one in my bathroom, and the flies were gone in no time.

‘Twas a miracle!.

It definitely kills insects and even ants. Strong mint smell but certainly better than a strong toxic ingredient smell. The smell hangs around for a while but I usually wipe everything after the insect dies.

It does leave an ‘oil’ type of mark on concrete but can be scrubbed with soap and water to remove. Still better than toxic stuff.

Ok this actually works and works well but it does have a pretty strong scent if you are sensitive to things like that. No harmful residue, organic, and safe around children and pets non toxic. And it also will not harm the environment! It is actually made of a patented blend of organic plant oils.

Kills bugs fast and natural with no harm done highly recommend.

Where I live, at the moment we’re having issues with moths everywhere! We have pets in our house, so I am very careful with what I am using. This product is meant to be used indoors, which is great. This really uses essential oils to kill the insect.

The smell is very overwhelming if you spray a lot, but it is not toxic. So great if you have a fear of moths like me.

I love this EcoSmart Insect killer. I even use if for the small ants I get in my house sometimes. I have cats and dogs so I don’t have to worry that if they get this on their paws and it works! It has a strong mint smell but we don’t mind it at all, certainly better than a chemical smell!!!.

) Sprayed a healthy layer around all of my door frames, and there is definitely a decrease of flies that get in the house when I have to take my dog out. It keeps them away from the doors like some magical fly barrier.
