For about 10 years I have purchased Homestyle Eggos Waffles and have loved them. However, in the past 8 months, the ones I have purchased have been inedible. When I prepare them by the Manufacturer instructions, as I always have in the past, they come out hard as a rock on one side and soggy on the other.

Thinking that maybe my toaster was the problem, I purchased a new toaster but I still had the exact same results. The frozen storage method I use is the same one I have used for the past 10 years. So storage is not the problem either.

I have had to throw away 3 Family Size boxes of Eggos because of this problem. That is $15 worth of Eggos in the trash. Something Has changed. This is very disappointing to me. Due to this, I will no longer purchase Eggo Waffles and I can no longer recommend Eggos as well.

To Kellogg’s: Please reexamine your recipe and/or manufacturing process for Eggos Waffles. Because whatever changes you have made are definitely not an improvement.

Since everyone else was talking about their outstanding and treasured history with eggo waffles, I will begin my review by talking about how when I was a kid I first encounter eggo waffles with their lego eggo waffle promotion.

In my opinion the lego waffles just taste better. But enough about me, back to the waffles, I have not lived in America in many years, so my experience with eggo waffles are obviously imported or made elsewhere, and I have continued to enjoy them over these years.

However, just recently moving to America I have purchased my first ever box of 24 waffles, and after consuming 10 of them and being grossed out by how sweet they are, I finally googled the issue to see if it’s an American Eggo waffle thing or if I got a bad batch.

It seems this taste is consistent with what the rest of consumers have been getting, and it seems that all of this started just about a year ago unfortunately. I have to say I am disappointed and sad that the waffles are so disgustingly sweet, I will give the buttermilk waffles a try, but I always preferred these.

Please consider changing as it seems many out there agree with me.

We like the ease of Eggo waffles, imagine just being able to pop these in the air fryer and add some fruit and breakfast is served. It tastes very good, we like the buttermilk the best. We recommend to try all the flavors they have to offer.

These are a hit with the whole family. Kids enjoy being creative so let them add peanutbutter or fruit or whippedcream for an extra special treat. A box of these golden delights are priced just right too.

I purchased these to provide a quick breakfast for my granddaughter while she was visiting me. She ate one each morning for the first three days of her visit. Since there were so man6 left, I decided to try the product after she went home.

I was disappointed in the product. They really didn’t crisp up in my toaster. (Yes, it could be my toaster but other items toast just fine. ) The Eggos didn’t really have much flavor. They aren’t something I would willingly purchase for myself.

The nutigrain blueberry waffles were the BEST!!! I can not believe you have discontinued them. I tried the whole grain thick and fluffy, they were terrible! Too mushy inside- too big !!! The nutrigrain were perfect in size and taste….

My family loves Kellogg’s blueberry waffles, because they actually taste like blueberries. A little crunchy on the outside, but chewy on the inside, when baked in the oven. Great with maple syrup, or a little dusting of powdered sugar, and fresh blueberries on a Sunday morning.

Just bought a box of the blueberry Eggo waffles with the new tape seal on the package. Love it. Used once. Sealed and returned to freezer. 2 days later return to waffles for breakfast and they remained sealed! Love it!.

No! No! No! Just NO! Why would you do this? I spent longer getting into my waffles than I did eating them. I bought them for convenience, not to be this frustrated on a Saturday morning. These are a must have in my house. The kids always love waffles and egos waffles are their favorite outside of homemade. Blueberry is number one on the list always because it taste just right alone or with syrup.

They’re sweet enough to eat plain but with syrup they can be a bit more sweeter, not overly but more than I’d like. You can just add a little butter or a few drops of agave and They’ll be fine. The waffles are easy to make and take no time to heat up.

You can toast them in the toaster or put them in the microwave. They’re also great for making chicken and waffles or putting ice cream on top.

These Eggo Waffles were not a comparable substitution to the Belgian waffles I ordered. The only thing they have in common is that they are both waffles with chocolate chips. The ones I ordered are in the dry section with the snack cakes and are infused with syrup already.

They’re also Belgian waffles. The ones purchased are in the frozen section (which I don’t have space for) and are regular waffles that need to go in the toaster oven and have syrup added.

My son loves these but I just had an experience where in less than a month these had to be tossed out. He’d only had 4 of them but when I went to make him breakfast, they were hard as a rock and he said they tasted like rubber.

Okay hear me out I have the formula for happiness. Eggo waffle+butter+cream cheese+ blueberry syrup=Nirvana. Don’t knock it till you try it. I have ADHD and sometimes food is not my friend, but Eggos waffles is a safe food always.

I never had the original Nutrigrain waffles so many reviewers mentioned so I can’t compare to them. I can say, however, that while I don’t hate these, I certainly don’t love them either. Two waffles are too high in calories, carbs, etc.

, not nearly high enough in fiber for a supposedly whole grain food, and one simply isn’t filling. I didn’t have issues with uneven heating. I followed the instructions and toasted them twice, although not on the lowest setting.

They were crunchy and heated throughout but VERY crumbly. I ate mine with real maple syrup so I can’t say if they were too sweet or not, as others mentioned. I bought whole grain at my dietician’s recommendation.

If this is my only choice – which I suspect is not the case – no thank you. I’ll finish my one box and search other brands for more satisfying options.

Ohh I absolutely love these waffles, the regular thin ones are pretty good, don’t get me wrong, but these “thick and fluffy” blueberry waffles are the 💣 bomb! The only problem is. I actually thought maybe they were only a special edition or that they may have discontinued them in Blueberry, because at first I found them everywhere, but then no where.

The other day though my hubby found them at a Walmart we don’t usually shop at and I was surprised yet so happy and so they do still sell them and they are not discontinued just a little harder to find them the regular thin one’s.

So easy to make, just pop them in the toaster for 2 mins, while flipping over once leaves them a little light brown color and and just enough crisp so when you add a little butter and a little syrup they are perfect and not soggy at all.

Everyone I the house eats them, they taste as good if not better than the waffles you make yourself and without the mess. Best part is they are very reasonably priced and the perfect quick breakfast to have alone or as an addition to a full breakfast with eggs and bacon.

I used to be a regular consumer of Nutrigrain, but if the aim of this product was expected to be a replacement for supposedly poor sales of the orginal Nurtigrain, it isn’t going to last. The texture and the thickness is enough to turn me away and according to this website half of the other users too.

You have to heat it again after flipping to get any sign of toastiness to the waffle and it still has a spongy like texture. Don’t even dare to put honey or syrup on it because it very quickly becomes a soggy mess.

It has an unpleasant aftertaste too. I’m experimenting with other brands that offer some hint of healthiness to see if I can find a more suitable product. Thick & Fluffy Whole Grain is not for me. I was very sorry to see Nutrigrain disappear so.

TheThese waffles are soooo disappointing if you have any special nutritional needs around less sugar consumption. The Original Nutrigrain whole grain Eggo waffles had excellent flavor AND only 2 gm of sugar per waffle which was great for diabetics and the multitude of people in our nation that need limited sugar intake; the number of those who fit this category is growing in numbers by leaps and bounds in our country daily! To replace a really valuable and healthy alternate choice with one that is less so does not make very much sense and isn’t very helpful for those of us who have very limited options.

Just because this new version has 11 grams of of whole grain as opposed to the original 8 grams does not make it healthier when so much additional sugar has been added. Please make the original Original Nutrigrain version available again for those of us who have been using them regularly for years and now have no quick/easy, decent tasting alternative! Also, I am “amused” at how many of the so called positive reviews are all “Incentivized Reviews”.

I forgot the regular eggo waffles existed after trying these. The thick and fluffy Eggo’s are delicious. Crispy outside and soft inside. They hold up well to any syrup. These waffles are made for fried chicken and as close to thick Belgian waffles as you are going to get without having to break out the waffle maker.

The vanilla flavor is delicious but the Berry flavor was amazing. They don’t have them anymore unfortunately. I believe a Strawberry flavored thick waffle would knock the regular size strawberry out the box.

The chocolate is nice and subtle but sweet enough that I love one waffle with my coffee (unsweetened). Two make a nice meal for me and if I just want one I may also have a boiled egg. y’all. these were good! those complaining that its not like eggos. well because its not supposed to be lol. these are for the people who want a lower carb high protein nutritional option for waffles.

so no they’re not as soft as eggos but they answer the craving for something carby. the vanilla flavor is not overpowering but just right! i topped with sugar free syrup and was good to go! love that i can still look forward to waffles but in a healthier way.

Was a mediocre tasting product for a higher price. Protein packed and would have been more acceptable as an eggo product. However, it would be more tasty if they had maybe a hint of cinnamon or something to bring out the flavor more.

I guess they make it more generic so you can add your own stuff. And they do have more flavors with pizzazz. Plus this is a frozen, easy to access meal. But I did add even way more syrup and it still seemed like it needed more.

I tried the Kashi Go Protein Waffles in the Vanilla Buttermilk flavor. I tried it plain as it is and it is plain tasting. I did not taste any vanilla in the waffle. The texture of the waffle was fine and if you toast it longer then it will be crispier.

The nutrition content is good and the protein in it. This is a healthy food so it is still good for the body even though it tasted plain. You can add honey or agave syrup to add taste and still have a healthy breakfast.

Kashi GO Protein Vanilla Buttermilk Waffles are 100% wholegrains and have 13 g of protein. I liked the convenience of not having to make waffles from scratch. They were light and crispy, with a nice subtle vanilla flavor.

These waffles are yummy. They do not have a overwhelming strawberry flavor, just a hint. There are priced the same as the buttermilk waffles and can be found at most grocery stores. They are easy to prepare and perfect without syrup with coffee.

These are my favorite Eggo waffles and I eat so many. I had a hard time finding them in store for a while but I finally found some at Safeway and stocked up. They are the best flavor. They’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with sweet hints of strawberry.

Super bummed Target stopped carrying the Vans and Birch Benders GF waffles and replaced them with their owned brand version. Usually love Target owned brand product but these just missed the mark. Texture is way off, when toasted they are stiff and cardboard-y.

These are fantastic. One of the very few gluten free ‘bread’ products that is actually good. No, better than good. Delicious! You may need to experiment with cooking time and closeness to heat source, etc.

I am quite familiar with Kashi GOLEAN products. They are known for their Lean – mean healthy varieties. I am most familiar with their breakfast foods. I was pleasantly surprised to see these on sale at my local grocer’s freezer.

Not that there is any shortage of healthy options in the freezer section. I enjoy trying different brands because when it comes to healthier options – taste tends to be consistently called in to question.

Not so surprisingly, the waffles tasted like they were made with wheat. They taste a little bit grainy or thick. As if they are weighed down or well compacted. Kind of a heavy texture. They also had a slightly sweet aftertaste to them, I am unsure of the reason or cause of the aftertaste.

They toasted well and held up well even with syrup. I enjoyed them best with a small amount of apple pie filling. As silly as it sounds, they taste really great that way.

If you are concerned more with health than with taste, perhaps Kashi GOLEAN Waffles is a breakfast food for you to try. My children Really Enjoy breakfast foods, and sometimes. okay, often, I don’t feel like I have time to make them a good breakfast.

I love these frozen waffles. They are low in sugar and really tasty. They are also not too hard (some frozen waffles can have too firm of a texture). They are expensive but a nice treat

Eggo Waffles are well known in the freezer case for their waffle products as well as other products such as French Toast Sticks, etc. Lately, they have created a new product, Belgian Leige Waffles. I have seen recipes for them in various cookbooks and was pleasantly surprised to find that Eggo has created those for the freezer aisle.

I decided to buy a box of these and give them a try. I must say, I was very happily surprised at how good the Beligan Leige Waffles are, coming from my freezer, into my microwave, and onto my plate. The consistency of them is chewy and fluffy, as if I’m eating a waffle doughnut.

The bits of real strawberry are a nice enhancement, and the pearl sugar bits within the waffle offer a nice crunch and sweetness. Not only was eating these waffles a great experience for both my mouth and stomach, but I think this style of waffle offers a great uniqueness to the product line that will please the consumer at any time of day.

The only negative thing I would say is that these waffles only have four of them in a pack, different from the usual number of eight in a box of regular Eggo Waffles. I believe the pack should contain more waffles for more servings and enjoyment for the consumer.

I think these still contain some ingredients that health professionals advise to steer away from (high fructose, blah blah) yet they still say no artificial flavors so who knows.
