20 Best Frozen Breaded Chicken Patties (2023 Updated)

Tyson Chicken Patties are delicious, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. They are definitely a perfect addition for lunch, dinner or snack! I love to make Chicken Patty Sandwiches with mustard, lettuce tomato with a slice of pickle and a few chips.

For dinner idea I love to take the Chicken Patty and cover it with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and then put it over a plate of Spaghetti or Rigatoni and make a delicious Chicken Parmesan Dinner.

You could also make Baked Ziti with a Chicken Patty cut into strips and laid on top of the ziti and pour marinara sauce over it all in a casserole dish and put mozzarella cheese over the whole meal and bake it in the oven.

Scrumptious!I could go on and on why I choose Tyson Chicken over any other brand but it would be a long review. Tyson Chicken is delicious, it is very easy to make and there are tons of different ideas and recipes that means it never gets boring It is a little pricier than other competitors but you pay for quality and it is the best there is.

Ok no, I lied, its not better than Popeye’s, that would be ridiculous, but these patties are totally great considering the price, taste, and highly processed quality. This type of product isn’t usually what I go for but took a chance because they were kinda cheap.

Now, I don’t really like chicken nuggets, and the chicken in these patties is made out of the same stuff they make nuggets out of, but despite that I was surprised how much I liked them. Also the breading has good flavor and is actually pretty spicy – taste is kinda similar to spicy curly fries.

Haven’t tried microwave or big oven, instead I make them in the toaster oven (around 20 min at 420) and they come out great. On a brioche bun with cheese and spicy or southwest mustard works perfect for small meal.

Also really good with BBQ sauce.

My husband loves these chicken patties. His favorite is the spicy chicken version but it’s always so hard to find at our local Targets. As a backup, we go for these regular patties. They fit a standard hamburger bun from Target and with a little bit of lettuce, tomato, and mayo, we got ourselves a good lunch in addition to other sides.

I like to heat these up, cut it up in pieces, and toss it with my garden green salad. So delicious. We’ve tried other brand of chicken patties and have always come back to Tyson. Lots of meat versus breading unlike other brands.

I recently purchased these and I will be repurchasing. I wanted a snack for like midday, or those times when I don’t wanna cook. I tried them and after one bite I was sold. They don’t have that organic taste to them.

They were more on the pricey side compared to the leading brand. And I found these in Kroger in the organic frozen chicken section. The sodium is high so I wouldn’t recommend eating on the regular. But every now and then these are good to have when you want a chicken sandwich.

I cook these in the oven for chicken sandwiches and they are wonderful. After it’s completely cooked I put a slice of cheese on top and put it it back in the oven for a minute. It’s really good on a brioche bun with avocado and or tomato slices! I highly recommend!.

Great flavor, great ingredients. Wholesome product. Feels like fast food when actually eating something good for you. We love to use them on sandwiches or to make quick chicken parmesan over pasta. All the products we’ve tied we’ve loved.

You can’t go wrong with them.

Their bbq ribs are ok so figure these were probably good too- WRONG. The sauce tasted like salty ketchup totally ruining it. Chicken patties were soggy but i kinda expected that. Had to wipe the sauce off with a napkin to even finish it.

Tried to eat the rest when i was drunk and still couldn’t, ended up giving it to the dogs. Just buy chicken patties, a jar of marinara sauce and some cheese instead.

child friendly version of chicken Parmesan it’s microwavable BS chicken parmesan a little sweet marinara with cheese under the breading. you have to microwave it flip them over halfway but make sure that if the sauce is not evenly covered over-the-top you flip it over before halfway otherwise you’re going to burn half the side of the chickens that are exposed without sauce on them.

you can serve it with macaroni and mashed potatoes taste pretty good for the kiddos.

Had these a decade ago and loved them. Picked them back up recently to find they had the consistency of actual dog food. I followed the instructions on the package and cooked in both the oven, the microwave, and even the air fryer.

Every time the meat was extremely soft/mushy and beyond unappetizing to bite into. Couldn’t even tolerate it. I wish I could compare it to something but I can’t, since even good fish has more of a bite to it then this mush.

We really like these strips. It’s not recommended by Tyson to deep fry but I like to cook them in peanut oil. I pour a little oil my cast iron skillet and cook them to the recommended internal temperature and they are the best chicken I’ve ever eaten.

Hands down. They’re really good out if the oven as well but the fried method is the best way I’ve tried them yet. Thanks Tyson. This is what I expect frok Tyson.

I cannot even tell you how picky my 17yro son is, its beyond annoying. I mean, Im also picky but more bcuz I dont typically do frozen prepackaged foods, but hes like a toddler and it makes me nuts. That being said, this bag of chicken tenders was gone in ONE NIGHT at my house.

We popped those bad boys In the Air Fryer, which I HIGHLY recommend, and they tasted so much like the meaty KFC tenders, I literally couldnt believe it. The only problem is that 2wks later I went to order more from Home Deliveries USA Fresh and theyre gone!!! Like they never existed!!! Not just unavailable but literally gone which I cant understand considering how amazing they were.

If I could Id keep these stocked in my freezer as an easy snack for my Housefull of teens.

Tyson has it all over Perdue with these. For many months Ive been eating Perdue breaded chicken cutlets they actually had the audacity to call it a cutlet when its so processed that theres no chicken flavor in them and no stringy chicken meat like there is in real chicken meat — just mush surrounded by breadcrumbs.

I HIGHLY suggest that everyone should buy these Tyson Southern Style Chicken Tenderloins. You wont be disappointed!! Youll actually love them!!.

It’s been almost a year since these have been in stock at BJ’s, and the only Yummy-brand thing that we can now find is Dino Buddies at Publix. I hope that they return sometime soon!

Fast and easy to make. I used my air fryer to cook and they were delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside. Nice white meat.

These are the best chicken breast my family has ever eaten. We all love them. So tender and crunchy.

Imagine a billion dollar empire and no one chooses to include ON THE FRONT OF THE BAG. THE NUMBER OF “PATTIES ” IN THE BAG. Purdue LIKES TO PLAY GAMES. You might get this many or that many. Going with the brand that is most transparent and it’s not this brand.

I purchased these for the first time. I do have to admit they are pretty darn good and easy sandwich with a salad. I rarely ate frozen chicken patties and I’m not a nugget eater either. But, I put this on the Sara lee restaurant bun with lettuce, onion slice and Litehouse ranch dressing and it is really good and inexpensive meal!.

We get the panko crusted frozen chicken breast patties from Costco and they’ve become a staple in our house. Makes a great sandwich when you’re in the pinch for a quick meal and they taste delicious and crispy when cooked in our air fryer.

Love to slice one up and use Buffalo sauce on it and put it with some pickles in a low carb tortilla wrap. Seriously so yummy!.

While we love Chick-fil-A we really don’t care for the Members Mark “southern style” spicy chicken sandwiches since everything tastes like it was soaked in pickle juice. It’s just a bit too pickly. Using actual pickles imparts a nice flavor and texture complement that imbuing the entire sandwich with simply oversteps.

(YMMV, of course) And let’s face it, while the bread for microwave sandwiches is designed to hold up to such forms of heating, it’s usually kind of pasty. I was looking for some vegan options and I heard gardein was a good brand to start off with. The food on the packaging look very delicious so I thought I would give it a try. Super easy to make, just pop it in the microwave and you’re done.

I think it’s very important to note that I was starting a new daily lifestyle of being vegan and these patties tasted nothing like I would have thought. I know it’s not actually supposed to taste like real chicken, but for some reason my tastebuds just did not want to agree with it.

I didn’t like the taste. If you like very Bland flavorless food or something very simple with no taste this could be it, I like the brand gardein because there was another food item that was actually pretty good but these patties were a no for me.

First of all, if you see these buy these because these sellout fast! The texture and consistency of these filets are tender and juicy. The coating is seasoned like your favorite fast food chicken sandwich.

I’ve been vegetarian and vegan since 2008 and these filets the only ones I’ve found that tastes like chicken, including Gardein’s past offerings.

So much better than so many alternatives I have tried! I toss them in the air fryer with some seasoning. Then put them into a sandwich just like I would if chicken. It’s my go to when I’m missing chicken sandwiches.

Texture is shockingly like real chicken- just skipping the gross textures you’d sometimes get with real chicken!.

I suffer from autoimmune disorder and tons of stomach and gut issues. Almost everything hurts my stomach and I have been able to eat these three times a day with zero issues! My nails are growing and my energy has severely INCREASED!! Do not EVER discontinue these!! If you’re worried that they have a weird taste! THEY DONT! 12 minutes at 390 I’m the air fryer and Done!! I spray coconut oil on them for a bigger crisp!! Dip in real honey and it’s an amazing wholesome meal!!.

In a contest for best chicken nuggets ever. these probably aren’t going to win. The breading could be a little crispier, but it’s really a tasty nugget, and you would never guess it’s made with cauliflower.

My husband is gluten free, and these are safe for him, and I can also feel better about serving these to my kids because they don’t have a junky ingredient list. This is the first “healthier” and gluten-free chicken nugget I’ve found at Sam’s – so I’m begging you to keep carrying this product!.

Since having to go GF for the past year, I have tried for months and months to find a good chicken nugget for a quick meal. None of them have been good except these!! These are to die for! You can tell it’s real white meat and it’s tender and flavorful! The coating is the perfect thickness.

Sams better keep these because GF options are limited at the club.

Purchased both flavors, they are so delicious. I understand why these chicken burgers are on waitlist but I don’t understand why the fusion flavor is still available, both are delicious and different but gooooood.

Not to mention easy to grill, air fryer or pan fry, these made it easy to put a meal together than can be healthy depending on what you serve with them. I love them for the flavors and texture, really chicken, on top of a salad or between a bun or tortilla.

I had ordered this Chicken Burger from Stuffin Gourmet back in 2016 but under a different name Bacon Double Cheese Chicken Burgers and when they were discontinued I was so disappointed. They were the best Chicken on QVC.

Now they are back but under a different name. They just arrived today and they are as good as I remembered. I cooked mine directly from frozen on a pan 8-10 minutes of each side with the final temperature at 170 Degrees (bottom and top got a little crispy).

Probably better to defrost them first but I wanted to cook them like I did the prior ones. Stuffin Gourmet makes the best chicken products. Get them on Auto Delivery. So tasteful and juicy. Thank you for bringing these back.

I just had my Stuffing Gourmet Chicken pattie with bacon and cheese. What a delightful change from a ground beef or lamb. They are full of flavor, juicy and packed with flavor. I’ve tried buying ground chicken on my own and did not like them at all.

But these were so flavorful when pan fried. Simply delicious. Easy to prepare and will please everyone.

These are a bit expensive. Tends to happen with Gluten free stuff. My kids love these ones and Tyson natural gluten free. However those ones are harder to find. My kids also find the Tyson ones a bit spicy.

So Applegate is more kid friendly. There is not a lot in a bag. So if you’re feeding multiple children I suggest doing as I do. Serve them with other things and not really the main focus. I will serve these with a side of veggie root fries, cheesy broccoli and a fruit.

There’s about 30 nuggets (sometimes less) so I only serve three nuggets for five kids. That way I can use it twice but if you’re making it a meal than I’d probably serve it with six nuggets each. However I much prefer to add other things with it.

If it was cheaper I’d buy it more often. I tend to buy these a couple times a month. Someone with a smaller family would have a much easier time making this bag last a little longer.

Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets are a delicious, high quality nugget that you can feel good about feeding you family. These are made with only white meat, fully cooked and ready to heat. Nice and easy.

I did use the oven method as we like them a bit crispy, but the microwave method instructions are on the package if you choose to eat them softer or if you’re in a rush. Either way they are delicious ! I love that the ingredient list is short with recognizable ingredients, no mysteries.

I definitely reccomend this product.

If you’re weird about meat texture these are perfect! I’m the same way and these are some of the only frozen nuggets i’ll eat. The breading is savory and the meat is juicy and tender, but not juicy enough to freak me out.

They’re good in the oven, or air fryer if you have one. I dip mine in kens honey mustard and mwah… chefs kiss. It also feels better knowing that i’m eating chicken that is a little more natural and healthy than regular chicken.

The price is worth it for that reason.
