20 Best Frosting For Cinnamon Rolls (2023 Updated)

I ordered these as snacks. They are pretty good. A little too sweet. The texture is good, but they get a little dry/stale fast.

These are perfect for the conference room because they are individually wrapped. They are big and I think they taste best after warmed up for a few seconds.

I Read reviews. After the disappointment I went back and the best reviews seemed to be from years ago. Today they are literally trash for me. I threw 11/12 in the garbage. I followed the package instructions for the rise.

They doubled. Baked for 20 (should have been 15). They were essentially rolls. I added some cinnamon before the bake. Still they were bland with not nearly enough flavor. The frosting was sugar (imagine mixing sugar and water) so don’t expect cream cheese or anything special.

If I swapped these out with dinner rolls I’m convinced nobody would notice outside of the shape. Yuck. 2 thumbs down. 0 stars. Someone compared them to Cinnabon. no comparison at all. AT ALL.

These are okay. The dough part is fine. The frosting is so-so. But there is barely a trace of that delicious cinnamon/brown sugar/caramelly goop that I love! That is the essence of the cinnamon roll! These are dry and not even sweet aside from the non-spectacular icing.

And I am not going to unroll each one and put my own goop in like another reviewer did. I may as well use my bread machine and make my own rather than do that! I am disappointed in these. I was hoping they would be better than Pillsbury.

Easy to make, take the lid off and bake, don’t even need to preheat the oven. Taste great, perfect breakfast with hot coffee.

I don’t know if it was just the can I bought of Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls, made with Cinnabon whatever. but they were so hard to pull apart when I opened the can. They came out like individual unrolling.

I had to re-roll each one up before putting on the pan. It was a messy nightmare. The taste is good, but with half the Cinnamon filling on my hands by the end of it, I’m not sure my family got the full taste of how they should have been.

I’ll be skipping this specific kind next time I’m at the store.

This frosting really complements the cinnamon toast crunch cake very well. For ours we did purchase the frosting but the cake mix was received complementary for testing purposes. For our family we decided to make our cake mix into cupcakes.

These are the best canned cinnamon rolls I have ever had. My husband loves to bake, so we tend to do homemade cinnamon rolls but that doesn’t always work out. When the kids want them and we don’t have time for the homemade ones (they are labor of love) these are our go to.

The cinnamon flavor is better than with other brands and the pastry tastes like it has more butter in it than other brands we’ve tried. They just taste like more effort went into the recipe if that makes sense.

Yes, they are a little more expensive than other brands but it is worth it in my opinion. We get them at our local Publix.

I baked mines about 19 min they came out perfect. They do not have that artificial flavor some of the rest have and they actually taste more homeade. Generous amounts of cinnamon, nice soft moist texture.

Taste is decent although they taste way saltier (to me) than others. I find that there’s enough icing but nowadays I use less of everything, so. I find that NONE of the brands are ever really able to quite get the taste & consistency of the icing right but I prefer this icing over another well-known brand’s any day.

Omg, I went to Ralph’s and grabbed this brand because I had been craving Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, and because I couldn’t find those, I went to the store to buy. Did not want to do Pillsbury, so I grabbed these.

Purchased this cake mix during the holiday season at WalMart in FL. Yesterday I used it to make an Apple Pie Dump Cake and it was fabulous. The extra hint of cinnamon put it over the top. Next time I think I will use a drizzle of powdered sugar glaze or thinned cream cheese icing.

Hopefully I can find it in my local store or will be ordering online.

It’s a very nice treat. It’s a super processed food, but tastes good and very fresh. To open the packaging without dying of a heart attack you practically need a PhD. The dough comes out kind of messy, so you need a good knife to cut it.

Once you bake it the rolls look really nice. The taste is very good, almost like a bakery one. I’m impressed. Also brings a big package of icing that taste very good. It doesn’t seems that big, but it’s truly more than enough.

Pillsbury cinnamon rolls used to be good many many years ago. A few years ago I purchased these rolls and was shocked at how the taste and quality had decreased. I swore I would never buy these rolls again.

A few years laterI decided to give Pillsbury another try(item was on sale). I live in Canada and bought the 8 count (351g) for $1. 99. I followed the instructions and was totally disappointed with the finished product again.

I doctored them alot! I used a half a stick of real butter mixed in cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Buttered a square glass dish and placed them cinnamon dude down. Added the topping and baked. Before baking I poured a half a cup of whipping cream over them.

The icing is way too sweet so I made my own. I used a block of cream cheese, teaspoon of vanilla and about a half cup of confectionery sugar. Baked at 370 for 12 minutes.

My overall impression of these cinnamon rolls are great. Pills buddy got the formula down pact if you ask me. Would I recommend these cinnamon rolls to friends and family, absolutely I would. Down to the flakey delicious pastry to the if icing everything about this product is perfect.

My family absolutely loves Grands Flaky Cinnamon Rolls. We used to eat them EVERY Sunday morning before church. The only downside was that there were only 5 rolls to a package, and the kids always fought over who would get the last one.

We had high hopes for these cinnamon rolls, but they actually have not nearly enough cinnamon inside them. On the second batch, my wife unrolled them and added more cinnamon. THEN, in the second container, the icing container was crushed and one of the cinnamon rolls was wrapped around the container so she had difficulty getting the roll off of the container and was unable to get all of the icing out of the container so she had to make more.

i brought this and did everything as instructed in the box, 6 tbsp of milk and 1min 10 seconds of microwaving but for some reason the texture went really off and it somewhat felt like a hard pudding.
