Ore-Ida Golden Fries Fries are the best French fries on the market. There are several different brands that are less expensive but they also don’t have the same wonderful flavor these french fries have.

We just dump the bag in the air frier and they come out cooked to perfection!! They taste and crisp up on the outside while staying soft potatoey on the inside just like french fries fried in a grease frier minus the greasy residue and greasy taste, also cooking them in an air frier is way more healthy than cooking them in a grease frier.

I’ve had these over a year ago and they were ok. This time they were gross to me and my family. Tasted old and the inside mushy. The potatoes used were old and the grease used to Blanche them as well.

Maybe they were left out too long before stocked at the store.

Ore-Ida Golden French fries are my favorite type of fries of the frozen fry family! We’ve been eating these for years, they come out great and so easy to make. Highly recommend making in an air fryer – I put these in my Phillips air fryer for about 9 minutes and they come out nice and crispy! Comes out tasting like those good fries you get hot and fresh at a ball game, it’s a game changer! Love them!.

These are literally the best frozen fries I’ve ever tasted. I used to only be able to get these at Sureway and I would go there ONLY to get these fries. I was ecstatic to see my local Walmart start carrying them! We air fry them, and we do let them get a little dark so that they get crispy because they are very thick but the finished product is amazing.

They are crispy but pillowy on the inside and the flavor is unlike any other fry, a little sweet but not too sweet but don’t let this out you off. It’s hard to explain the flavor, you just have to try them for yourself!.

I’ve got these fries at least once a week (when in stock). Never tried to bake in the oven( would imagine they would need to cook a while to crisp up in there). In the air fryer? These are amazing. Just season them up with a little salt or adobo and cayenne pepper and air fry for about 20 25 mins.

They are crisp and kinda smoky on the outside and hot and soft on the inside! These and the Nathans onion rings are awesome. Please keep these items in stock better.

I had high hopes for these french fries. Followed directions exactly, for consecutive meals, I tried adjusting to get better results with no success. I have to say I’m surprised by the good reviews. These were the greasiest fries I have ever had or served.

Won’t be getting them again. But the onion rings are awesome.

I love the crunch of these! And the ingredients are great too. The ranch flavour is a little weird, but that’s always the case with vegan anything it seems ha! I like these a lot dipped into hummus, so it’s worth exploring what else might compliment them.

This is a great tasting snack. I almost ate the whole bag on one sitting. It has way less fat and sodium than other brands. The price not bad I paid $3.98. I recommend trying it.

Frozen fries are a staple. Love how their are different cuts to choose from. I usually prepare them in the air fryer, or the oven if I have to make a bigger batch. I prefer these fries over the fast food ones, as I don’t deep fry them.

You can dress them up with garlic, Parmesan cheese shreds, and parsley. Or season them with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and so on. The option is yours!.

These are some good French fries. I myself put them in the oven or air fryer and they come out great. my son fry them on the stove and loves them. They have alot of flavor and enough potatoe to where you can actual taste potatoe.

The best fries that you can find at the grocery stores. They are always crispy outside and soft inside. You can really taste the fresh potatoes and it’s a perfect side for a steak or even with fish. The price it’s a lil bit higher than the others french fries brand but I think that it worth every penny.

I bought this for when we crave fries! It comes as medium flat cuts and has no seasoning. We like to add olive oil, truffle salt, and parmesan, mix it up and throw it into the air fryer at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes on each side.

It comes out golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Such a great side dish. The bag does not have a way to seal it back up so we just use a chip clip and throw it back in the freezer. We probably get 2-3 serving from this.

So the other day I decided to make myself some chicken wings and fries for dinner! These were in the freezer so perfect. I totally messed up my wings ruined them burnt to. Crisp. Sad and hungry I grabbed my fries and but them in the oven.

They have cool packaging so they aren’t soggy. The package kind of melded to my glass microwave plate- so put parchment paper or a paper towel down then the box. Pretty good quality/ quantity for the price.

There is no difference between this frozen fries and the one you get at Arby’s restaurant, period. But the trick I found out is that using air fryer is the best way to make them taste like Arby’s restaurant’s.

The instructions on the package calls for the use of convention oven. But I heat the fries at 390 degrees for about 7-8 minutes in air fryer. Then stir them and cook another 2 minutes. The fries come out crunchy and moist.

I agree with a previous comment of the temp, and time for deep frying, and second that the reason is probably because deep frying seems to indicate baked results won’t be as good. Here’s the thing people, that is true.

They will not be as good. That is just how it goes in the world of food, especially fast food. Do not expect your baked fries to turn out exactly like Arby’s themselves because they fry them. As for the issue of having broken Fries, no actual “curly” fries.

that’s not their fault. Why that warrants 1 star is beyond me. To the person who gave 1 star because your fries weren’t curly enough, your issue is with the frozen food truck unloaders and/or stockers, NOT Arby’s fries.

I’ve never had that issue and I’ve bought these from 5 different Walmart’s over the last several years; maybe a total of 20 times. Always had several big curly ones and I know this because I put them aside after ‘frying’ them because they’re my husbands favorite.

I prefer the big crunchy ones. The taste I judge is fried. That’s how French fries should be cooked, and that’s how I cook them. They taste great. They are pre-seasoned, and I actually just fried up the big bag, which is like double the size of this bag, and lots of little curly pig tails and big curls.

If it’s needed, I bought this bag today 12-06-17 @ the Walmart on Veterans Memorial In Metairie, LA 70003. I’ve also bought these fries at the neighborhood market Walmart in Kenner, LA, and the super Walmart in Kenner, LA.

, along with 2 stores in Texas, The Woodlands, TX, and Tomball, TX. Never had an issue. So, Dude who didn’t get curly enough fries, talk to the manager of THAT store. Odds are, they are tossing the boxes and packing them too tightly in the back freezer before putting them out.

Maybe they just don’t know that it’s causing problems, speak up about it to them. They’re most likely not aware that they’re damaging them, they don’t exactly come with a “Handle With Care” label on the box, they’re French fries.

Wow–I thought I was back at Arby’s. This stuff tastes just like the ones you’d get at the restaurant. I haven’t had takeout in forever, so it was nice to taste something that was restaurant quality.

The kids loved the curliness. Some curls were stuck inside each other, but it was interesting to see how the potatoes are cut in the manufacturing process. It also wasn’t too dry, like some frozen fries can be after baking.

We bought these Alexia seasoned waffle cut fries from Winco. It was the first time that we bought these. The price was right and so we decided to give them a try. They are absolutely tasty. They’re also super easy to make too.

Unlike some other fries that I have tried before, these don’t get overcooked/burnt. The timing and heat that is mentioned on their packaging is perfect to bake the most delicious waffle cut fries. What I love the most about these fries is that they are non-GMO.

Purchased 2 weeks ago for the first time. They are delicious. My husband likes them better than tater tots. And he was a big tater tot fan. They get really crispy in the oven. Only problem is I don’t remember which store I bought them in.

Is my go to fries. So what if packaging rips and is not resealable. We are TALKING ABOUT TASTE!!!! Taste amazing. I usually don’t like frozen fries but this one is exceptional. My family have been literally eating these fries for a few days straight in a row now! I wanted to make sure I got to taste enough of the product to make an accurate, honest, and unbiased review. First off, the description is accurate and on point for this item.

You get (6) individual bags of French fries, each bag is 5-lbs. I would like to add that the bags are not resealable bags but that isn’t a problem for me. Since we’ve been having a French fries marathon lately, we’ve done different things with it, we threw it in the air fryer on the French fries pre-setting at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

We’ve even tried it in the oven at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. These are only our experiences and our own preferences. I didn’t want to bring out my deep fryer or pot and I’m trying to limit as much oil as possible so that’s why I’ve chosen these alternatives for cooking.

However, we’ve gotten great tasty results with these methods. These French fries have a crunchy exterior and a light, fluffy interior! With the amount you get of this product, there are endless possibilities you can do besides just having your fries dipped in ketchup.

Our favorite is applying chili and cheese on top to make our own Chili Cheese Fries!! I also like to make my own dipping sauce to go along with these fries. Who really wants just plain fries? I know not in this house! The only downside to this is the cooking method.

I would have hope that there was more cooking options provided instead of just deep frying. Especially since so many household own a air fryer so having an option to cook it in there would have been awesome.

Also another great option would be oven directions. These two options leave for a much healthier alternative and less oil consumed. Overall, we are enjoying these fries and we are thinking outside the box of how else we can incorporate them, even into an actual meal itself.

After all, it’s raining fries in our household. I would recommend this product if you have a big family or event, looking to get the most value for your money and/or just a fries lover! Happiness is French Fries.

I admit to being totally shocked and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fries. These are all top quality – there are no “bits and pieces” but rather long, plump and intact fries. They came out of the air fryer absolutely delicious.

Just the way we like them. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. I’ve used them with the traditional ketchup but also with chili fries, cheesy fries and in place of nacho chips with a nacho type of topping all over a tray of fries for movie night.

I’d also highly recommend something else you can buy at Sam’s to give the fries a great seasoned taste (which is my preference). Get the Tone’s French Fry Seasoning, sprinkle it on top and prepare to swoon.

Because there are so many fries in the package, I’ve had a field day inventing new recipes including air frying them first, gently mashing them and then throwing them on the griddle for a hashbrowns type of side for breakfast.

That makes little crunchy potato bits mixed in alongside the softer potato. DELICIOUS. I’ve also used the same mashing method to put a dollop of potato in cupcake pans, top with a bit of Canadian Bacon (also a Sam’s favorite buy) and an egg before baking them as a breakfast treat.

Indulge yourself and make a quick hollandaise sauce to pour over them once they are plated. These fries are simply wonderful and think out of the box. the Large Box because fries aren’t just for ketchup anymore.

I have mixed feelings about these fries. They taste great, they are high quality, and are a bargain for the amount you get! These fries really do seem restaurant quality. They are pretty uniform and there aren’t a bunch of broken pieces or tiny scraps in the bag.

The value is awesome and I appreciated that there are 6 bags inside the box so everything stays sealed and easy to use. It says online that these can be prepared in an air fryer or deep fried. The box lists only the deep fry method.

I tried air frying these fries and they do not turn out well at all, no matter what temp I cooked them. They either burn at the ends and steam in the middle or they steam and never crisp up. I tried them several times at varying temps and nothing worked.

Air frying was my choice (we don’t use a deep fryer at home) and I know that the box didn’t say to use an air fryer, so I admit that it’s my own fault these didn’t work for me. However, I wanted to be honest and hopefully prevent someone from making the same mistake.

Best frozen fries ever! I’ve bought frozen fries quite a few times during my 70+ years but never really liked them. Decided to try Alexia brand fries and I love them. My husband agrees, they’re the best frozen fries – he likes frozen fries for the first time.

Delicious! Easily my favorite fries (and favorite way to consume potatoes) at the moment – Golden, crispy, and not greasy. The sea salt elevates them to the next level. I like to bake them – not sure how they’d do in an air fryer.

Love them as a side or occasional snack.

I’m not a big fan of frozen food in general. I recently received a coupon from Influenster for a complimentary Alexia product and I chose the House Cut Fries with Sea Salt. I was very impressed! My toddler is an extremely picky eater, but she does LOVE french fries.

My husband and I loved the fries as well, but she was especially fond of them. I’m so happy Influenster gave me the opportunity to test these for free. I will definitely be purchasing these fries in the near future.

I would love to try some of the other Alexia products that are available as well! I love that I can now purchase a healthier alternative to other frozen fry products available at my local grocery store.

when i first saw these beauties in my local grocery store, i had to try them because i always buy just regular Idaho potatoes and cut them myself, so i basically killing two birds with one stone w/ these.

they are really good. in new grease they doesn’t have that greasy fry flavor like some fries. i like the steak fries wayyyy better in the oven!!! i recommend these to everyone.

I’ve tried SO many frozen French fry brands and this is my favorite. It doesn’t take very long to cook and it always comes out very crunchy and crispy (the best way to eat fries). Lastly, there is always a large quantity.

I’ve been buying the sweet potato fries and enjoying them so much until I just read the ingredient label… What a disappointment this will be my very last purchase… Vegetable oil I can live with. Tapioca starch I can live with.

But High Oleic canola oil , canola sunflower oil, rice flour cane sugar tapioca starch corn starch dextrin sea salt spice…. etc. Sugar? Really now. High Oleic canola oil? How about sweet potatoes and sea salt with a dusting of tapioca ir cassava flour to keep the fries ftom clumping.

What a dissappointment.

I really like these fries. The seasoning tastes good kind of masks the flavor of the sweet potato so if you like that flavor this might not be for you. But if your someone trying to incorporate healthier starches into your diet the flavor might be your thing.

My only issue is when using an air fryer or oven they tend to expel some of the oil in them. Once they’re done cooking it’s not an issue but I’d imagine if you fried these in oil they’d be too greasy.

I cook them in my air fryer at a lower heat and keep an eye on them they go from almost done to over cooked very quickly. But after buying a few bags I’ve gone. The hang of cooking them and I really enjoy them.

I found a chicken like compound in your organic sweet potato fries. I have photographs. Not sure what I should do. Is this meat? I don’t eat most meats. I love this brand so I’m not sure if there is something that can be done.

But I. A little wigged out. Its like a big slab of something and then parts attached to fries also. Let me know if you want the photographs.

I’ve purchased these twice and will not buy again until the packaging is better, please make sure that you check the bag while at the store and again when you get home. The first time I just charged it to a bad package, while,paying the car and picked up the waffle bag, fries were falling out.

I returned them and was able to replace the bag. when I got home I put them in a zip lock bag. Now, they taste really good when cooked in my Air Fryer. Second purchase, which was yesterday 10/19, I placed the bag on the counter along side the Member Marks Chicken bites and wondered why the bags look similar but the bites bag have a “reseal” option and a little thicker in plastic.

But as cut the waffle fries bag, I notice a couple of tears in it. I call the number on the bag and did an online chat with an agent and was told that I would get a $5 credit to my account. I explained that really doesn’t help me, this packaging has to be checked because this could cause food poisoning, something could crawl in the bag, or the fries could be stale or freezer burnt.

Deep fried, Air fried, Roasted, or Baked, these fries are definitely comfort food. So many ways to serve them up. Get creative. Make Horseshoes and smother these fries in a cheese sauce. Serve them up with melted cheese and bacon.

Top ’em with a bit of sour cream and chives. Dip them in your favorite sauces. Toss them in a bag with a dash of your favorite seasonings, an ounce or two of a roasted nut oil, and roast them in the oven.

Fair comparison to the real deal! I personally think the key is how you cook it. When I prepared in the oven following directions perfectly they turned out so much better then when I used my air fryer.

I did pop the chicken into the air fryer on 400 for about 2 minutes in order to crispy them up. The fries are great, as bag states, don’t over cook. They may seem under cooked but let them sit for a few minutes and they’re just as good as good as fast food without all the deep fry oil.

I notice some people complain about the pickle taste, that’s what the fast food joint does as well, pickle is in their breading! My kids eat them with no complaints. Would prefer the french fry bag being resealable.

I think these are the best frozen French fries I have ever had! I absolutely love the flavor of them. I cook them in my air fryer and they get the perfect crispy skin. Absolutely delicious!!

I like this brand for lots of varieties of their fries, potatoes, onion rings, etc. They are pretty affordable, but I have noticed a slight price rise in the last year or so. Still an affordable option for lunches, dinners snacks.

I only took a star off because, I don’t always like the taste out of the oven. We have a deep fryer, which I know isn’t a healthy option, but makes items like this, better to eat flavor-wise, in our opinions.

You can find these in most store locations, even online. Just make sure to use quickly or tightly seal up extras. If kept in the freezer too long or air gets in, they get Frostburn fast.

Great waffle fries when not having fast food! I eat these about once per month. They are great with burgers and sandwiches. I wish they cooked faster had more health benefits, but I recommend to anyone having a cookout or a simple meal.

Would not have purchased this variety if I knew the waffle fries are made from potatoes with skin on. Too much skin in one bag. KRAFT HEINZ FOODS how about a variety of waffle fries without skin???
