This meal was okay. Doesn’t compare to a homemade meal with same items. The potato serving was too large. Wish the vegetable serving was larger. The chicken was reasonably tasty. I got this through a promotion where it was free.

First time trying this. I wouldn’t buy again.

What I like about Hungry Man is their portions are just the right size. –about 500 calories. And they contain a vegetable. Not many frozen dinners do. They say a person needs 1500 calories a day. You won’t get that eating most frozen dinners.

And as a bonus, they actually taste good. Some not so good. There are others I also like but they do not contain 500 calories. Some only 250 calories. Are you supposed to eat two of those? One of these is cheaper than two of those.

From the first look i knew it was different. What used to be a breaded crust is now a batter type and salty. I hate it. Used to be my go to now its disgusting. Why did they change it?. prolly for a few pennies profit.

Some of the worst mashed potatoes ever made, the only highlight is the corn or possibly the chocolate brownie. You can smell what I imagine is peanut oil throughout the house, My brother ballooned up to 300lbs eating up to two of these a day.

The chicken is pretty much flavorless and there isn’t even any barbecue sauce or anything to go with the flavorless chicken. I remember when I was 11 they had chicken nuggets and they had a sweet and sour dip with them.

These were the regular swanson dinners.

thr corn had the most flavor, next was the potato, only after adding catsup and horseradish dis the chicken havw any flavo. yes cooked as instructed had to move the potatoes from inder the chicken. als flipped the chicken half way through to at least give it an appearances of fried.

now lets on the the chicken. totally flavorless, tough and some what rubbery. But all in all beter than the bbq pork meal.

WOW! I just discovered this on Amazon and I am in LOVE! This + an air fryer is a quick way to get restaurant style fried chicken at home! I also use this on shrimp and pork chops! I have already purchased this twice after discovering it 60 days ago.

This has a lovely mildly spicy flavor. If you are doing fried chicken, I would suggest seasoning your chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper first and then using this according to the instructions. This stuff is so yummy! Cannot go wrong!.

I substitute this for flour when making fried chicken. Pound out the breast, coat in louisiana chicken fry, egg, then panko. Most amazing taste, crispy on the outside. Omg is all I can say. On amazon this is priced at around $10.

However check your local family dollar or dollar general, I snag this baby up for a $1 a bag.

The flavor of this dish is pretty good. The potatoes taste like they were browned before the freeze drying process. The sausage is slightly above average as far as breakfast sausage goes. We always add black pepper.

Sometimes we add a little salt. A packet or two of Tapatio, Tabasco or Cholua always contributes to the dish. Preparation considerations: We add the salt and pepper before we add water. We cut the biggest chunks of egg, sausage and potato in half or thirds so they have more surface area exposed to water to facilitate re-hydrating.

After we add hot water and seal the bag, we fold over the top and wrap insulation around it to keep it hot longer. We stir it half way through soaking. We also let it sit 5-10 minutes longer than the instructions say.

Everything is re-hydrated thoroughly with this method.

I first heard about Shore Lunch Fried Chicken Breading Mix on a YouTube cooking channel and the channel owner seemed very happy with the flavor so I thought, why not, I’ll try it. I was blown away. This seasoned breading mix is truly amazing, and packed with loads of flavor.

I opened the pouch of mix and used only as much as I needed for my servings of meat and put the rest of the pouch into a glass jar to use as needed on other things. I have tired it as breading on chicken, both fried and baked, as well as on fish, and it was awesome on both.

I have also sprinkled a bit of it on vegetables as a seasoning, and it gave that a whole new level of flavor. I am so glad that I discovered this and will definitely be buying it again!!.

I initially purchased the “Shore Lunch Classic Chicken Breading Mix” at the March ARB Military Commissary, during the year 2013. I used all of it and inquired if March Commissary was restocking this item.

Their answer was the item was not to be restocked. I scoured the internet and found it here at WalMart. This product only requires milk, vegetable or canola oil and chicken. Follow the instructions on the box and the results is “great fried chicken”.

I highly recommend this product.

Everyone loves my chicken wings when I use the uncle Buck’s chicken fry I have cooked hundreds of them.

I bought a couple of these a couple of years ago. It goes a long way. We really liked it and used it in the oven. I reordered, and let me tell you this batch is hot. We are not wimps by any means and like our stuff on the fiery side.

Maybe it’s because we use it dry and bake in the oven instead of deep frying, but the last bunch wasn’t this hot. I’ll still use it and recommend it but with a caveat.

I first came across Kraft Shake’n bake several years ago when I was trying to find a way to spice up my chicken and pork recipes. This product is great in that it comes in a variety of flavors including original, barbecue, and Italian flavor just to name a few.

It is also relatively inexpensive and you can get a box which does about 2 chicken dinners of about 4-5 pieces each. When you open the box you will see two clear plastic bags and two paper packages that have the seasoning mix inside.

Making this is very easy. You just simply need to pour one of the seasoning mix pouches into one of the clear bags. Then you rinse your chicken or pork product in the sink and place a piece inside the bag.

Shake up the bag and put it on a baking tray. After you have finished all of them follow the directions on the box for the time and cooking temperature. You will have a tasty dinner in no time. Another benefit to this product is that it is shelf stable and lasts awhile.

If you like a lot of variety like I do, you can buy several different flavors and alternate between them. I rated this product a B because Kraft actually has a product that I feel does the same job as this product only better.

That product is called Kraft Fresh Takes. Kraft fresh takes are found in the refrigerator section and cost around $3. One package will do a meal of about 4-6 chicken or pork pieces. What makes Kraft Fresh takes better is that cheese is included with the bread crumbs and this makes the product much tastier when it comes out of the oven!.

Shake `N Bake Chicken Coating makes for a quick easy meal to prepare that tastes good. I have to confess that I’m not a particularly good cook and I don’t have the patience to fix fancy meals but even I can’t mess up when using Shake `N Bake.

It is very easy to coat the chicken (although if you have large pieces of chicken you may run out of mixture) and it only takes a matter of seconds to rinse the chicken, coat it, and put it in the oven.

You can use it on either bone-in chicken or boneless (for a quicker meal) and while both taste equally good, I prefer to use it on bone-in chicken. It tastes good (sort of like fried chicken) although a bit greasy.

The pan can be a bit messy after cooking but it is still an easy cleanup.

Cute, some toys are better than others, so I probably won’t buy more sets. We bought the small size because my pup likes small toys and I was planning to add these to our doggie bag hide and seek toy from last year for an added challenge.

They are cute, and I really like a few of them. The hot dog is the best. It has strong velcro and a treat pocket. The hamburger also has nice strong velcro, but it’s larger than the other toys, so it doesn’t fit well inside hide and seek bases.

The milkshake is boring and it doesn’t stand up like in the photo; the chicken wing is pretty dull too. The fries are my pup’s favorite and he’s absolutely obsessed with them, but there’s already a small hole after 10 min of playing with them and he isn’t a chewer, so that fabric isn’t very sturdy.

These are super cute. Last year I purchased the same company’s Christmas ones with the candy canes. My new chihuahua however is chewing his way through these. The hot dog is gone as he unravelled the embroidery on the hot dog.

The milkshake and the chicken leg are hidden because he tries to pull the fuzzy parts of them out. He is really enjoying taking out the french fries and running with the bag. He is a real piece of work.

I originally thought she would mostly play with the crinkle bag, but I guess this is a retriever deal. The fries, she cannot get enough of! Just packs a section of French fries around. She has raw chicken feet in her diet, so we jokingly call the 2 sections of fries her chicken feet.

Can size is perfect to make a family meal. Creamed chicken pasta is yummy, and chicken fried rice and veggies delicious, practical, low carb, and low fat! Fresh and delicious, very low fat content. Large can, yummy taste, good value.

There’s a LOT more water than in the well-known brands. The weight on the label includes the water. A funny thing:. my cats won’t eat it.

This chicken in water is really delicious, soft and ready to prepare at your table, I love the ease with which I usually cook my meals, quesadillas, (tostadas de tinga mexican) oh only as a strong food, 0carbos and low fat is ideal for everyone.

Sooooo SALTY!!! Listed as second ingredient. 460 mg in just 2 tbsp. of dry mix! 20% of daily allowance and am sure most americans servings will have more than 2 tbsp of mix too. I am not a low salt diet person.

I like my food well seasoned, but this is just way too much. I had to peel it off to eat my chicken. Love their Dirty Rice Mix. Make it with hamburger, also add green bell pepper, onion, and celery to mine.

Sometimes black beans drained and rinsed instead of meat.

Bleh. Pulled the inner package out of the box to make chicken tonight. Set it aside (inner bag unopened) for a bit. When I got ready to use it I noticed it has bugs in it. Probably some form of flour weevil.

I bought this at Walmart last night too make fried chicken and let me tell you, I WILL NEVER USE FLOUR AGAIN. This stuff right here Is soooo good. The flavors were mashed well together. There’s a little kick of spice but tolerable.

The price is good. If you want to try something different definitely try this.

I’ve been a vegetarian on and off for the past 5 years and by far, this is my favorite meat alternative. For the folks saying that it has no flavor, please stop treating alternative meats as a means to not actually cook.

If you like your items seasoned, then season them just like you would the real thing. I personally don’t feel that it’s lacking in flavor, but on the off chance I want to add more flavor to it or simply make a specific flavoring, I’ll use BBQ dry rubs, everything seasoning, or whatever else I might be in the mood for.

Honestly, I treat all my meat alternatives like the real deal and cook with seasoning, spices, etc. , otherwise you’ll always be missing something. This product is amazing! The texture, appearance, and flavors, are pretty spot on.

My favorite way to make it is either in the oven, or the air fryer.

These are SO good! Finally a chick’n product that completely rocks in all the places others have been lacking. They are thick and juicy and flavorful! Granted, I have been vegetarian for 45 of my 65 years on this planet, so memory may very well be off.

Even if that is the case, they are an excellent protein to add to our family’s “regulars”. The only only complaint I have, is to the Gardein decision-makers that thought it made sense to offer packages of THREE?! At the price, it seems good sense to offer an even 4 or 6.

Every time I have to buy and open a second package to make a meal, I get miffed and feel manipulated. I wonder how many customers don’t buy or don’t buy very often for that reason? In any case, they are delicious and we love eating them.

Trying this one for the first time. I usually buy the bowls. It is good but a little bit spicer than I thought it would be. And no problem taking the plastic off. lol. I don’t understand why people find it so hard to do ! Just grab an end and pull !!.

Just want to add that I love this meal, specifically the chicken. If you all made the chicken patties available by themselves in a bulk case I would 100% switch to buying yours. The mac and cheese is tasty but I would love to just buy the patties themselves.

I was absolutely surprised with this product, often times if you have a frozen microwave rice dish the rice texture is off putting. The steam style pkg allowed for the rice and veggies to stay moisturized and not mushy or hard.

I would say it would be great on it’s on as a side dish but I wanted to use it as a main dish and I added I was able to do so in about 15 minutes total. Got a bag of fresh stir fry veggies and a pkg of cubed ham pieces and cooked in a pan with EVOO, garlic, some bagel seasoning and a little teriyaki sauce.

While that was cooking I popped my rice in the microwave, when done it was dumped in with my veggies and pork and tada a complete meal for 4!!! I will be buying this again for the simplicity and fast to the table with great flavor aspects.

My husband and I both were unimpressed with this chicken served with the gravy it came with. It was edible but not good, and was too salty. We ate the chicken with some Great Value country gravy (from a packet) and it was a much better experience.

Do yourself a favor and toss the gravy mix it comes with and use a better mix if you want chicken/country fried chicken.

I normally buy the Tyson spicy chicken patties but they were out of stock. I decided to try these and I regret it. The gravy is nasty first and foremost but I didn’t expect it to taste good. However, while I was eating one of the chicken patties, I bit into many pieces which appear to be bone fragments.

Needless to say I am traumatized. I threw the rest of the bag away and I will never buy this again.

I really enjoyed this fried rice. the box comes with two packs. Each pack comes with enough personally I feel for one person. I added a fried add and a little chicken but they do have ones that comes with chicken already.

The rice has a lot of flavor. It has edamame in it and egg, and carrots. It has the option of cooking it in the microwave or frying it I fried it and it was super easy and quick. It had a garlicky flavor a long with some other flavors that a yummy but I can’t place.

It was 8. 98 at my kroger which is a little pricey but I guess fair if you are going to share a box with someone.

I received this great product for free to try at home in exchange for my opinion. I loved the convenience of being able to have Fried Rice with out needing to drive for take out. It comes with two bags of pre-made Rice, a little bit of vegetables (carrots peas) and chicken.

I used more vegetables then it came with because I thought it need more. The rice has great flavor and texture for being frozen. Loved how in my influencer box I received 2 pairs of wooden chop sticks from Bibigo!.

This is another fav of mine. Although I usually wind up picking out the chicken, the rice it’s self has a great sauce on it and it makes all the difference. I pick out the chicken because I am leary of any product with chunk chicken in it.

None of them are appealing to me but when you have a product that one element you love and one you don’t you can make concessions to get what you want. I do find the portion size a bit small and almost always eating 2 to feel satisfied.

Wow. This is the first frozen Chinese food meal I’ve eaten that is actually great. It is not sweet at all, hooray!! Most of the other brands and types of frozen Chinese food have sickeningly sweet odd sauces, ugh.

This rice has flavor, it’s seasoned well, is affordable, and quick to cook. I truly didn’t even have to add soy sauce, but I did add a tiny bit. My only slight complaint, the rice is a *tiny* bit underdone for me.

Next time, and there will be a next time, I’ll add 2-3 teaspoons of water before I heat it up. Amazing. Leave it to Mama Michelina from Italy to cook up a great chicken fried rice!.

If always loved Marie Callender’s frozen dinners. You get a good amount of food for the price. That is until I bought the Duos Chicken Alfredo & Chicken Parmigiana. It was more expensive than the other ftozen dinners they sell, but the box was a lot thicker than them.

I though I was going to get a really good amount of food. When I opened the box I was extremely disappointed. I thought if that was all the food I was getting in the split trays, why make them so deep.

You guys could have easily made them half as deep. The food wouldn’t have even come close to the top of the tray. The Chicken Parmigiana patty was very thin. The Chicken Alfredo patty was thicker, but not by a lot.

There was very little Fettuccini noodles under the patty. The food was good but the portion size was ridiculous. For the price of this and how deep the tray was, you would have thought there should be two of each chicken patties and two to three times the noodles.

I will definitely never buy these Duo meals again.

When you can’t choose one, get both! This combo comes with my two favorite meals: chicken Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. It’s always hard to choose only one of them so this combo is perfect! It was easy to prepare and it tastes as good as I expected it.

Between both, I like the parmigiana better. It tasted better and had a better texture. The chicken Alfredo wasn’t bad but the pasta was over cooked the chicken texture was kinda like the chicken Nuggets from the M fast food chain, which isn’t my favorite.

Overall a great combo to have at home for busy nights.

Don’t let the large packaging fool you. I paid a little more than other frozen dinners, and bought this thinking I would get a great filling meal with two different flavors. The chicken parm side came with no side item and the chicken alfredo side had a disappointing 4 pasta noodles.

It was basically just meat and I found myself hungry again two hours later. Next time I will just get a hungry man dinner.
