20 Best Frames For Progressive Lenses (2023 Updated)

I am still adjusting to needing glasses after having perfect vision my whole life so I do have some growing pains. I got the progressive lenses which I think I like but am not quite used to. I don’t care for the blue light filter for the progressives, however.

I bought the progressives so I wouldn’t have to take them off every time I looked up from my work. I don’t like looking up and seeing the distance through the yellow tint of the blue light lens. I would prefer them to be clear.

Blue light is fine for computer glasses but I don’t like them for daily wear. The frames are cute and make a statement since they are oversized.

Bought these boots for the winter. Initially I was thinking about getting some Timberland’s but ended up deciding on these Polo boots instead because they aren’t your average footwear that you would see around town.

They definitely are an eyecatcher. The leather feels very high quality. I love the inner lining of the boots. It’s very soft and warm. I think the dark leather will only get more unique and comfortable the more it’s worn.

It has ton of grip on the soles. Regarding sizing, that was my biggest worry when ordering online. So I can usually wear a size 8. 5 or 9. If it helps anyone I wear 8. 5 in Nike Air Force Ones but I need to wear atleast size 9 for Yeezy 350s.

So, I actually ended up buying size 9 in these Polo boots and I’m glad I did. They are more snug than I thought they would be. They fit perfect. If I would have went with the 8. 5 it would’ve been too small.

But I also feel 9. 5 would’ve been ok too. But in general I feel totally fine with size 9. Lastly, i still feel it fits great even when I zip up the sides all the way to the top. It creates a tighter grip around your ankles.

I couldn’t find my size here in at any local store so I decided to buy online. That was the best idea I’ve had in a long time. I’ve never bought shoes or boots online before this worked out well for me and they fit perfect.

Amazing clear vision with NO distortion whatsoever with this progressive lens which is absolutely incredible compared to expensive private optometrists. Big box stores and other companies such as Warby Parker which I have used in the past.

I only added the upgrade for the thinner lens (due to the bigger lens it was not necessary to order the additional upgrade meant for shorter lens heights). Although the frame feels like it fits great with no adjustments necessary.

And is very comfortable. I am so sad that it looks too big and shiny with the arched nose bridge making my nose look longer and prominent. I have the medium fit which I believe is correct but wrong frame for my face.

I was looking for a frame that blended into the background. Not one that shouted\”Look at these big shiny glasses!\” Perhaps a brushed metal may have helped a bit along with a straight bridge. Before I order another pair I will need to know the height of these lenses so that the next pair I order will be a shorter lens height and also I found I will need to stay away from the arched nose bridge.

Please inform me of the lens height and width of these lenses and the potential to exchange this pair for better looking frame more suited to my face and desires aesthetic outcome. Also from looking at the attached photos.

Please inform weather or not you think I should have ordered a size small although I believe the small would be too tight and squeeze my temples. I\’ve been searching multiple websites for a pair of frames that will fit my small face. I was initially hesitant about purchasing these because the last two frames I\’ve had previous have been 50-20-145.

Both of which have been to big for my face. My biggest concern was the temple length (I went with size Small. Gold frames). Going from 145 to 138 I thought it might be to short for me or push my glasses right up against my face uncomfortably.

To my surprise 138 has been perfect for me. The glasses are not overly large and look way cuter in person. The nosepads are great for keeping my glasses from slipping as well. I also may adjust them slightly as they are a bit tight.

I\’ve gotten so many compliments about them already though. My only advice would be to NOT get the blue light coating on the lenses. I called customer service and requested new ones that only had the anti-glare coating on it.

The blue light coating can be seen constantly in the lense reflection which makes it hard for me to ignore and see properly (not sure if I\’m describing that problem correctly). But overall the frames are PERFECT.

I haven\’t been this happy with glasses in a long time.

This is my second time trying to order from EBD. The first frames I ordered I ended up sending back as they left many somethings to be desired. THESE frames however are perfect! They fit my face perfectly (although I do wish they were a little larger and oversized.

But that’s very hard for me to find) I got size large and initially I was concerned they would be to big. But not the case at all. Overall the frame fit very well even before any adjustments. I haven’t worn glasses with feet in so long as the big chunky plastic ones are my go to.

But the feet on these glasses are very comfortable. I haven’t noticed any slipping and they aren’t giving me a headache. The frames themselves aren’t overly flimsy. As you would expect from paying less.

But they do flex just the slightest bit which leaves a slight concern for one of the lenses popping out. These frames are a two day shipping eligible frame As well and while I did not intentionally order them with it.

The shipping was very fast. I ordered Friday and they were on my doorstep this Tuesday morning. Overall I am very happy with the purchase of these frames and would buy them again.

These are quality, stylish glasses. As someone who never wore glasses before, ahem, “maturity” reared its ugly head, these computer style glasses were life-changing for work at the office. The reading mag at the bottom of the lenses will tackle the tiny print, while the lesser mag at the top is perfect for computer work.

Also, I can look through the top of the lenses at clients and they are not blurry, as is the case with regular readers. These glasses let you do it all at the office without the annoying on-off thing.

I have never bought these Ray Ban brand Mens Eyeglasses. They are excellent Eyeglasses, excellent quality, and excellent buy.

I love this computer progressive glasses. I already had my progressive glasses and I wasn’t very happy with them. Every time I needed to work on my laptop, I had to keep my head-up with those glasses to see clearly, which was pretty tiring.

Now with these glasses, I don’t have to do that and it feels perfect too.

Had my prescription lens tinted but turned out more like dark sunglasses so gonna have to get new glasses anyway

Arrived in 8 days. Nice recyclable packaging. Good frames; just as I imagined from the pictures. Sturdy. But light weight on the face. The measurements given by this company were very helpful in helping me compare these frames to my old frames which fit me well.

Note that eyebuydirect measures the width of the frames from screw to screw. Whereas some other online companies measure to the outside edges. The progressive lenses are great. This made me nervous because even though pupillary measurements help.

I don\’t know how they know where a person\’s vertical placement of the eyes will look through the lenses; but they got it right. Both the distance and reading vision is great. Very pleased.

Beautiful large. Light. Acetate frame. At least it seems like acetate. I am no expert. The black is shiny not matte. Fyi. Seems high quality. Wish they came in more colors. Definitely large width and height.

Ive been looking for new glasses for the past two years. I’m skeptical when it comes to buying new glasses IN PERSON let alone online due to sizing. My head is wider on the sides so I never find glasses portionate to my head size.

I am a contact wearer with bifocal built into the contact lens. This function does not work for most contact wearers and they find they have to use a reader for fine print, as I did. I always wondered why no one could make a “progressive reader” so I didn’t have to keep taking off my glasses to see far then back on to see near.

And don’t get me started on sunglasses. Then BOOM Peepers made my dream of wearing my contact lens so functional and easy, not to mention stylish !! I bought a part of progressives as soon as they hit the market and I will never purchase another brand of readers again.

The look, the cost, the quality…the best glasses out there. I have tried and returned 3 other brands of progressives before I discovered Peepers. Not only did they not look good on me, but the transition of the progressive lens was horrible.

I was very hesitant on online purchase of prescription eyeglass especially because I need large frames. Normally I use 58-18-140 frames and this VEGA frame was closest at 57 with a rectangular shape.

Adjustable nose bridge. And semi-rimless design in gunmetal. Following the video and easy to understand instructions on EYEBUYDIRECTI now have a Computer/Intermediate eyeglass with anti-blue tint with the correct prescription the first time.

Needless to say the price was fabulous. From order date to receiving eyeglass was about 2 weeks and this VEGA is workable. If EYEBUYDIRECT offers more larger frames in 58 size in choice of colors and styles.

Even though I had a lot of back and forth with Eye Buy Direct (EBD) support staff. In the end I got a great pair of glasses. I first ordered the “Mel” frame with a progressive prescription. When they came in.

They had small plus signs (+) and the number 250 etched faintly into each lens. I inquired about it and EBD offered to replace the glasses. I changed to the “Vega” frame. Keeping the same prescription.

Those. Too. Came in with the etchings in the lenses. When I complained again. EBD said the etchings were normal for progressive prescriptions. It seemed to me like something had changed in the explanation for what was going on.

They offered to replace the glasses again. So I changed to the “Above” frame. Those just came in and while they still have the plus signs and the number 250 etched into the lens. I’m keeping them. I have to say that in all three cases the quality of workmanship was excellent.

The glasses were always beautiful and well made. And at no time did staff at EBD become rude or short tempered with me. They were always polite and professional. That’s why I was willing to give them five stars.

This is the first pair of glasses I’ve purchased on-line. I was a bit apprehensive at first. But now I’m glad I did. The ordering process was quite easy after I decided on the frames. It took about a week and a half to receive from the time I ordered them.

I am sad. Because I REALLY love the look of these frames. My prescription was perfect. The lenses were crystal clear. However the placement of the nose pieces are quite high. Making the bridge of the glasses sit high off my face.

When looking at photos of other people wearing them. It tends to sit high on all the wearers. Casting a small shadow on the bridge of the nose. While this clearly doesn\’t bother some people. It did bother me.

I had to sadly return these frames and put in a new order for a different pair. The return process has been easy and accommodating.

Unfortunately they were way to big for my face. I looked silly. I loved the material and the marble looking frame…but I had to return them. Wish you had a similar design maybe made for a smaller shaped face.

Proportion is very hard to discern on model shots. I felt the quality was good though. Hoping another frame might work for me.

These are so freaking cute and flattering on my face! I love the color (I got the brown pair) and the sizing was perfect. They feel really sturdy and don’t fall off my face. The case is really durable too.

These frames are very high quality. Not too heavy but they don\’t feel extremely fragile. Although it\’s best to be extra careful with metal frames. The lenses are also high quality. And not too heavy.

I have a progressive prescription. And ordered these large frames to have a bigger\”windshield\” to see out of. And that\’s exactly what these do. I also ordered blue light blocking. And it does make a difference.

These glasses are comfortable to wear. The only thing that\’s a little odd about them is the way the nose piece comes together with the frame shape makes them look a little\”pinched toward the center\” on my heart-shaped face.

Super cute! I have a wide face and always go for larger frames. These look like they fit just right. Not too large. Not too small. They are lightweight and super easy to adjust. If you have a strong prescription they aren’t a good choice.

My lenses are a bit thicker than the rim. I got these to wear from time to time to compliment my every day frames. They seem quite fragile so I wouldn’t want them for everyday wear. Overall. I’m happy with the frames at the price I paid.

I specifically wanted this frame because of the blue tort color. But unfortunately it only comes in small. And unfortunately it was too small for my wide head. It is categorized under low-bridge fit.

But I cannot comment on the fit for the asian nose (my nose is VERY small and low) because the small size made the temples hold the glasses in place instead of the bridge. +4 stars for overall quality.

The material was sturdy and the color was beautiful. If this only came in a medium size (PLEASE) I would love to reorder because the medium size has a smaller bridge and wider eye space (based on dimension description for the ivory).

**note about the color. The blue acetate is very dark. Meaning it appears black unless light shines though. Even if light shines through it will appear black but have subtle blue hints on closer inspection.

However. I love this combination of dark and light (subtle deep blue and a light tort on the inside). But I love details; to someone else this might just feel like black?-1 star because it doesn\’t seem like it was particularly designed for a lower nose bridge.

Perhaps for a slightly low nose bridge. But the my asian nose I think is too low. I think the saving grace is that the bridge space is small. Which would allow the glasses to sit higher up on the nose.

The nose support area doesn\’t seem particularly lifted. Again. Hard to comment however without testing a size that will fit my face width.

I kept seeing these pop up when I was filtering for small frames and decided to finally take a chance on them. The floral color is pretty but it\’s mostly just a really deep blue color rather than a floral print.

So something to be aware of when ordering. I got the small size and it\’s perfect. Kind of a cat-eye and round hybrid that\’ll be flattering on a lot of faces. A tiny bit smaller in width than the 3D try on showed for me but that\’s a bonus consider how small my face is.

Not too tall so my brows are visible. And very minimal cheek touching (it\’s hard too see but I have highish cheekbones so some touching when I smile is normal). After adjusting the panoscopic tilt and temples to tighten them up they\’re perfect and they seem to be holding the shape I bent them in well so far.

Very lightweight as well. Plastic frames can get heavy but these are as light as some of my metal frames. My nose is super thin and lower than normal so I did have to put on some adhesive pads to get a better (more snug) bridge fit and lift the lenses from eyes a bit so my lashes aren\’t hitting them all the time and for better vision but most people won\’t have this issue unless they also have a lower bridge.

It is an easy and cheap fix though.

I have a small face width. So finding eyeglasses with big style and a small frame relegated me to children’s glasses and lots of weird adult glasses. The common problem was the nose bridge was too big and the width of the frame was too large.

With the keyhole bridge on the Daphne glasses I have zero problems with my nose bridge! The days of needing to “push my glasses up on my face” are gone! Thanks Eye Buy Direct! The tortoise design is wonderful because the brown is very reddish.

My husband really likes the gold detailing on the sides and the arms. These glasses are the perfect thinness (I was afraid I would have to go with nose pad glasses) lightweight acetate frames to the rescue!.

The frame is dainty. I ordered the light blue because I wanted a pair of blue eye glasses and the medium fits me perfect. They are a full lens with attractive cat eye corners. So I did receive my prescription in the time advertised. ) Once shipped I received my glasses the very next day as I paid extra ($19) for UPS Express shipping. Customer service was very helpful and understanding.

These frames are even more beautiful in person. I got photochromic lenses as well. They work perfectly. My only issue is the lenses (I chose the “most popular” lenses). They get dirty fairly easily but is a quick fix.

As I had purchased two frames from this site. I only received one cleaning cloth and no eyeglasses screwdriver. I was under the impression that I would receive bother with both frames so I’m slightly disappointed about that but overall I’m delighted! I LOVE these frames.
