20 Best Frames For My Face (2023 Updated)

I have been trying to schedule an eye exam with lens crafters to get a new prescription but because of the Corona Virus all my appointment had to be moved or cancelled. Fortunately I had a prescription previously from lens crafters and it wasn’t expired.

I have a very high grade for both eyes and I have astigmatism so I was a little anxious if the glasses would turn out right or not. I badly needed glasses so I ordered these glasses with the prescription I had from a year and a half ago.

I’m nearsighted so I chose single vision with the highest index. The package took a little longer to arrive than estimated. It took 16 days for the glasses to be completed and delivered. The package was safely delivered and it was in perfect condition.

The frames fit so well and everything I can see is tack sharp from corner to corner of the lens. I was able to use it for a graduation photoshoot the following day it was delivered and I was so very pleased with the glasses.

I highly recommend getting glasses from GlassesUSA if you have your prescription. Anticipate that there might be some delays in shipping because of the Corona Virus.

Frames feel great, well built. They fit accordingly with the size and description. Note, they are big but if you have the right face (long and medium-narrow) your good! My only gripe, is the rubber on the tip of the arms behind the ear.

It can be irritating at times especially if you where a low fitted ball cap. I would 100% buy again! Next time though, I would go with the gloss finish over the matte black finish! I have a naturally oily face and the matte finish shows everything and in the end turns glossy anyways.

But that is a personal issue not the glasses. They are really nice frames!.

I love the matte black finish and thought they felt very durable since they are a really flexible kind of plastic and they look great but these are TERRIBLE glasses. -First issue: They seem to be non adjustable.

I have had them adjusted (behind the ears) FIVE TIMES and every single time they end up just returning to the pre-adjusted state. -Second issue due to first: they are SO tight (even though I have the large size and im a woman and my head is not that big) the little rubberized feet leave HUGE deep painful imprints behind my ears.

I can physically feel the little slots left by the little ridges in the rubber when I take them off even after like a hour of wear. -Third issue: the little rubberized pieces at the end of the arms aren’t flush with the frame.

They are added in to the molded plastic of the frame. So if you are holding them and run your thumb across the end of the arm that goes over your ear, there is a SHARP edge. One side is so bad that it has SLICED my skin open after a few weeks in these glasses.

-Fourth issue: as mentioned in the 3rd issue. the litter rubberized pieces on the ends of the arms are added on and they don’t sit completely flush with the rest of the arm so this creates little gaps between the frames and the rubber pieces.

that my hair gets caught in every time I take them on and off. -FIFTH ISSUE- the little rubberized pieces at the end of the arms are just a terrible design all around but this is more a personal issue.

I live in south Texas and its HOT here for most of the year. we have been in the triple digit heat for over a week now and this issue make its self known after spending an hour outside pouring sweat.

I kept hearing this really weird noise every time I moved my head. I kept thinking it was something near me rustling around or something. NOPE it was the glasses making these disgusting noises (think of like stirring something wet and gloopy and thats the noise it was making) sliding around behind my ears because of the sweat and the stupid little rubber pieces.

So these are getting returned and I would recommend to Ray Ban this design needs to go straight in the bin.

Although these frames are more than some other options, the quality is very good – and still a lot cheaper than at your local eyeglass store! On my first pair I ordered, I “cheaped” out – and did return them when I messed up one of the measurements.

Clearly took them back with no questions asked, and their customer service was second-to-none. On this pair, I got a ‘premium’ frame and got every lens feature available. And I’m really glad I did! I’m very happy with my glasses and would 100% buy another pair.

I ordered Gucci frames and prescription lenses. The frames are just as picture on the site and were more affordable than other sites. Overall, I really love my new glasses. The only thing is, I opted for the blue violet filtering lenses to protect my eyes and when I have my glasses on they look fine but others looking at me can see a blue reflection coming from my lenses.

I don’t see the blue through the lenses so I decided to just keep them, since I know I’ll need a new perception in a few months any ways and I can just replace the lenses then. Also, the shipping did take longer then expected, but when I emailed to ask about it, customer service did response to let me know where my order was in the process.

So I will order again because I more so look for designer frames and they have it.

I love these! They fit my face so well and are lightweight. I wear glasses for the computer but these are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Very cute! My experience with ezcontacts was amazing they’re very communicative every step of the way.

My glasses took 12 days to get here (which isn’t bad at all), and i love them!! they fit perfectly and the website is extremely easy to order from! This is the 5th pair of Ray-Bans I have owned. I have worn glasses my entire life. When I found prescription lenses for my Wayfarers, I immediately purchased a pair. That was 10 years ago. Now, these are my latest ones.

Lighter and less “intense” than the black. I have the transitioning lenses, so I don’t even have to switch to my classic black sunglasses (which I will never give up!) unless I am outside in super-bright sunlight.

I practically live in my glasses (falling asleep with them on more nights than not) and have never had a problem. Would I recommend these? You bet I would! The quality is superb and the style is iconic.

Love this one and 2 years into it and it still feels and looks just like when it was brand new. The gold never fades. The pearl color on it too looks nice, so I got the GOLD 001 because of the Havana and pearl combination.

These are my first pair of prescription glasses, the frames are so lightweight, and comfortable I actually love wearing them. They gave me a great first impression of wearing glasses regularly, and would highly recommend to anyone that they would be a good fit for.

I use these frames for work and working out. They are not only fashionable but also very durable. I’ve handled them a little rough at times and it has withstood all of it with little damage.

Michael Kors is by far my favorite designer, so when I saw the price I decided it was worth taking the risk getting the clear frames (plus, I wear a lot of gold jewelry so they match everything!) They can be dressed up or dressed down, which is one of my favorite things about them.

This pair looked great in the try-on feature, and didn’t disappoint in person. It has a subtle cat-eye shape and is very slightly oversized, which I like. The tortoise shading is quite faint, it’s mostly dark brown in front with tinges of red on the sides.

I had the frames fitted with transition lenses, they look great as sunglasses. A very well made, beautiful frame. Love it!!!.

I love these glasses! The fit is perfect (which I expected, as I buy frames with the dimensions I know work for my face – those three little numbers on the inside of the arms), they are lightweight without feeling cheap or flimsy, and comfortable.

I have them in black and would consider a different colour in the future.

This is my second pair of glasses from Frames Direct and I will continue to get my glasses as they offer excellent customer service and excellent frames and lenses. Every conversation Ive had with customer service or the optometrist is always helpful and courteous.

My Kate Spade frames are so trendy and stylish, plus I love the pop of color and fun print on the inside! But I have to talk about these lenses; in the past Ive had to try up to 5 different brand lenses that would give me the clearest vision for progressives, minus the prism.

I suffer with migraines, so seeing prisms through my lenses is the worst. My doctor said that I need a quality lens, but the cost is outrageous. Gorgeous black and blue tortoise Kate spade glasses. I get so many compliments on these glasses people wanna order them. They are very beautiful and unique to me.

These glasses look very handsome on my husband. They are unique and the grey shows the wood grain nicely. They are a rather wide fit, luckily my husband has a big head. If you have a narrow or small face/head, they are unlikely to fit.

The glasses are very well made and look amazing, I could imagine paying a lot more for something similar from other designer brands. They come in a very nice case although the case is quite bulky and not very practical when on the move.

Excellent, perfect fit, lightweight (Oakley-Airdrop). Very pleased wit the Oakley frames and the price was most reasonable and the size I was seeking in 51 (Shadow Gray) not any had them. However, EZ Contacts did, so I ordered.

I’m glad I did. EZ Contacts has very good customer service and good prices through the entire gamut of optometry. The shipping was very good, within a week. We would highly recommend EZ contacts to family members and friends alike.

Not my first pair of Oakley glasses. Last pair had the interchangeable nose piece which I loved. The AIRDROP has a plastic nose piece, but it is NOT molded to the frame or solid interchangeable. They are attached separately.

This causes a ruff ridge right smack in the middle of the nose pad that rests on the sides of the nose. The nose piece is really annoying and scratchy causing a lot of discomfort during the day. Sometimes the nose piece even creates a gap making it worse.

I recently moved out of state right when I obtained them, so I cannot change them out. Love the glasses, comfort and style otherwise. Will buy Oakley again, just never again with this type of nose piece.

Full confession: I bought this frame for the color. I wanted an Oakley Surface Plate frame in the corten color but my size is no longer available in my size. So, the corten color looks great on this frame but you should know this is a narrow, short (let’s height) frame that fits snugly on your face.

It doesn’t bow out on the sides like many Oakley frames. Think of it as a short haircut or looking like the frames Ray Charles used to wear.

I found these glasses at the eye doctor for $650. I was shocked at the crazy price. I looked up “faded Nike glasses” and my glasses popped up on the website. For $150. I couldn’t believe it. I ordered them, delivery took longer than expected, but they work perfectly.

For the price I would’ve waited a month! Super happy.

The frames were what you would expect from Nike, a high quality product but the lenses and service were even better and at the fraction of the cost!

I really love the look and feel of the frames, but the lens can’t be made right. The only area I can actually see out is the very bottom of the glass at the bottom frame. Everything else is blurry. I ordered two different pairs and at least the other pair I can use a bit, but unless I want to toss my head back and look straight down my nose- these are not functional.

I have an XXL hat size, and was excited to get my first pair of XXL frames. Its so hard to find frames that fit me on display at the optometrist. These did not disappoint. Excellent build and material quality.

Stylish. And they fit my big head very well (got the 57/145). However, I expected the navy to be a bit more blue. This is that dark shade of navy that looks black more often that not, depending on the light.
