20 Best Frames For High Prescription (2023 Updated)

These frames are flimsy and very small. Not the usual RayBan quality. The arms were quite bendy and fragile. The case tore around the press stud closure within a couple of days of gentle use. Ultimately, they’re unwearable sunglasses and I’m over $100 out of pocket, and who can afford to waste money on sunglasses they can’t wear?I can’t recommend these frames at all.

Makes me wonder if they’re even genuine RayBan frames! Lenses were fine, script was correct and they were delivered reasonably quickly. Customer service is okay too.

When I bought these frames, they were not the singleqoute husband approved singleqoute pair. I bought them because I like them. After I wore them for a few days my husband said, doublequote Those glasses look good.

You were right! doublequote They fit well, are comfortable to wear all day and have enough space in the progressive parts to see everything!.

I’m very happy with these style Ray Bans. They fit very nicely and not feel flimsy at all. I have a pretty wide bridge and these are the most comfortable glasses I’ve had so far. They also don’t slide down my face at all.

This was my 1st time ever ordering online and was a little leery about how they would fit and look on. I absolutely love these glasses and have gotten so many compliments on them. I am going to be ordering a 2nd pair because I liked them that much.

I ordered this with multifocal Progressive lenses and they were perfect fit. I would highly recommend these.

I have always disliked wearing glasses. I could not get anything that fit me. I tried these frames on at my local eye glass store. I fell in love with them. I found them so much cheaper here, including the lenses.

They fit great, and I actually forget that they are on. I don singleqoute t squint as much anymore and I can finally see things.

I really like these glasses, the classic look and they are very comfortable. They are my everyday glasses. My only complaint about these frames is that they have become too big for my head, no matter how much I tighten them.

I may try to see if the eye doctor can resize them. But they are adorable. Not the most lightweight frame I have had but not too heavy. They don’t have those little pads on the arm that dig into your head.

I had to return the first pair because of that. Overall these were a good purchase.

I scratched the lenses on my optician bought glasses. The cost to replace just the lenses was a bit more than I wanted to pay. So I lived with them until I saw the Glasses USA ad. I had a copy of my eyeglass prescription so I took a chance and ordered a new pair.

My glasses came in about 2 weeks. I was kept informed every step of manufacturing and delivery. The glasses are perfect. I could not be happier with them. They have a full field of view as opposed to just the center of the lens.

In the future I will go to my optician for my examination but buy my glasses from GlassesUSA. My only complaint is their pricing and discounting are a bit convoluted. It singleqoute s hard to tell what you pay until the end of the order process.

I bought this pair to use as everyday eyeglasses around three years ago. I absolutely loved them and they fit my face perfectly. Sadly the right part that sits on your ear broke, I took them to get fixed and they told me the only thing I could do is buy a new pair.

If I was going to buy a new pair I thought I might as well try a different style, which I did. The lenses I got this time were good but i just didn’t love them as much as I loved this style. So I pitched them again because I loved them THAT much.

It was a very sad day when the part that sits on top of my ear broke (on the same side) again. I took them to get fixed and they told me the same thing. There was nothing they could do. I love these lenses and the style but im really discouraged and disappointed.

Will never buy these again.

I’ve bought glasses from Clearly before this purchase but I generally like going to the Clearly storefront to try glasses. With Covid, I wasn’t able to do that. After using the “try on” feature and seeing myself in several glasses on this site, I settled on these glasses and though the try on feature is a little bit janky — these glasses are a hit! I’ve gotten several compliments about them in person and during zoom calls.

I was looking for modern “60’s FBI glasses” and these were that to a tee. I also own a couple of pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses so I know the quality was going to be great. Worth spending a little extra on these.

I’m happy about this purchase.

The gold scent is what I love about these. I ended up getting my girlfriend a matching pair because she too loved the half black half gold style. They fit awesome and I got them fully loaded with C-Shied lens protection, Bluereflect and light weight lenses.

The frame is a little heavy so deff recommend the thin lenses upgrade option.

They needed some personalized adjustment and they adjusted fine under warm water and although it is a bolder frame versus what I mostly wore in the past I quickly warmed to them and now I love them. This pair and the slightly thinner / less bold RB 7017 (which was my all time favorite up until now) are my two best pairs and I alternate them regularly.

The tortoise color is very dark, only noticeable under bright light or in the sunlight, and the green inner is also a darker shade which I think gives a really nice contrast. I think the green inner color is less noticeable than what shows on the photo when they are on your face, but the dark tortoise color is how they come – under normal light they just look dark brown but then under higher light you can see the contrast.

They would make ideal sunglasses, I think. The lenses are good quality, the anti-glare is green (rather than blue like Triz lenses) and the coating is done very well. Finally, ordering from glassesusa is easy and superior to the other online sites I have used.

I am a happy camper!.

I love my new Ray-Bans! I usually order them through my optometrist, but I decided to order them directly from Ray-Ban. And boy am I glad I did. The quality of the frame and lenses I ordered from Ray-Ban are 1000 times better than what my optometrist ordered.

The one way to tell that the lenses are from Ray-Ban is there is a little etched Ray-Ban logo on the top corner of the lens! I will never let my optometrist order my frames and lenses. I will go directly to Ray-Ban and do it myself because believe me, there is a huge difference! Thanks Ray ban you guys Rock my glasses world!.

This frame is so cute in person! The virtual try on feature was what convinced me to buy it because there really isnt any images of it online. It singleqoute s a slightly larger size frame but it feels a tad tight on the sides of my head which I normally don singleqoute t have a problem with, but it looks so cute so I decided to keep it and wait for my head to naturally stretch it out.

I have numerous pairs of glasses from Glassesusa and this one is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Very happy with my choice. It reminds me of a larger version of the Ray-Ban 5228 which I also own.

It does not rest on my cheeks, it does not have that awful key hole nose bridge (that never sits right on me) and it is not overly circular and round which does not look good on everyone- me!.

Having had multiple Ray-Ban RX frames over the years the 5169 is one I have wanted for a while and finally picked up. 5169 is one of the few frames that still has the raised Ray Ban logo on the temple.

On most of the newer frames the logo is just printed smooth on the acetate temple. Went with Dark Havana on Green, which has always been my fave in this frame. Beware that you can only distinguish the brown of the Havana on Green in bright light.

Most of the time it just comes across almost black with translucent green edges. The grey horn color is excellent also. Have a pair of the larger Ray-ban 5279 in grey horn, but I much prefer how the 4159 fits my face.

Hopefully the 5169 frames will stay in the Ray-Ban line for as long as the classic 5228 wayfarer.

Delivery was quick and glasses came with a hardcase. I wish the lenses got a bit darker but the reaction is very quick with the transition lenses. They are typical Oakleys, light weight with good optics.

I am almost 100% satisfied. The transition being darker would be nice, and being able to order the frames with custom touches would have been cool. I did not find an option for that nor did I call to check either so they may offer it.

Ive been wearing these frames for a month, Ive ordered these frames twice. Durable comfortable frames. This time around the lenses were problematic, I find myself taking my glasses off more then ever to see.

Not happy with the final product when it comes to these lenses.

All transition lenses turn grey/black. If you’re looking to have your lens prescription turn the color as advertised on the website is not going to happen. The color will show only at angles, and it’s very faint.

I would have opted for the cheaper option if I had known this.

Ordering was so easy. I used the virtual try-on, got it down to the top 3 picks and chose from there. Once I got to the part where I had to enter my prescription, I was a little confused because there were some slight differences on my hard copy and the place to enter so I clicked the “Chat” button to ask for help.

These glasses are so stylish, immediately elevate any look. I originally had matte black frames in a similar shape from RayBan, but the gold nose piece on the 7140 really makes it look expensive. The only thing I dislike is that I cant put these on top of my head like you can with sunglasses because of the nose pads, they get tangled in my hair and pulls it out.

My previous glasses didnt have nose pads.

Great fit and super cute. I got progressive lens sunglasses so now I can sit in a beach chair and read while protecting my eyes from the sun. The Transparent Blue frames are a good color for everything I wear.

So glad I ordered these glasses. Im going to buy a pair with a transparent lens for everyday wear. Watch out, now!.

I now have 4 pair of this frame style in various colors. Very cool looking, comfortable! I don’t like glassed that sit on my cheeks. These are perfect.

This is the best set of glasses I singleqoute ve ever owned. I was reluctant at first, never owned any Ray-Ban glasses; turned off by the price. However, you get what you pay for; especially if it singleqoute s something that you are going to be using every day.

They fit perfectly on my very large (thick) head. I ordered a large, and so far I have not noticed any indents on my temples. They are study and feel of good quality. They also arrived well packaged, with a free hard plastic prescription card, a nice leather case, and a Ray-Ban micro fiber cleaning cloth.

I bought these from Lenscrafters last summer and fell in love; great fit to the shape of my face and fashionably colorful! Unfortunately they got lost, and Lenscrafters did not have them in stock to replace.

I just love these glasses! From the finish to the amazing lenses, reasonable price, and great customer service, I could not be happier. I will focus on the frames only since the lenses are more a custom, personal option that will vary based on the user.

These are nice frames and the sizing options are also nice since the options for size 48 glasses out there is very limited. Many reviewers complained that the size was smaller than expected, but if you do your research carefully youll know whether the measurements are what you are looking for or not.

In my case I knew these were the right size again, size 48 is a bit unusual for adult frames that you are more likely to find 50 and above. But for someone who has a small face and wants to wear higher glasses (a larger “B Measurement”) these compliment them very well without looking oversized.

Another aspect of the frames I really liked was the matte finish on black frames, Ive been wearing glasses for more than 10 years now and I never was a fan of the glossy finish on black frames as finger smudges always show, but if finding a nice pair of frames that fit my face was a challenge, (again, a nice frame in 48 is not easy to come by) finding them in matte was almost impossible as gloss is probably the most popular finish out there.

Last but not least, customer service was superb, Alan and Amanda who took care of me when purchasing my glasses made sure everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. Communication and their helpfulness is what made this experience a very good one!.

Love these. They’re exactly what I wanted and I like that they come with a solid case so I don’t have to worry about them being damaged. I received the Ray Ban cleaning cloth in addition to one that EZ provided, with a screwdriver to make adjustments as time goes on.

I was very excited to find a pair of glasses that were as close to perfect as I have ever owned. I have purchased and been please with Ray Ban in the past, but these frames are superior. They are different yet understated and I get many compliments.

The fit is fantastic. The ONLY reason I did not give it excellent in comfort is because sometimes my hair will catch where the cover on ear piece meets and the hinge. Small price to pay for the comfort and look though.

I highly recommend these. I hope they come out with a translucent pink!.

00 glasses. When I compare my old beat up Specsavers to my brand new Ray ban vision express ones I must say the Specsavers are def thinner than the Vision Express ones.

I ordered these Ray-Bans with standard air lenses to install my prescription lenses at my optometrist here. I got them a few days ago and I like their look as well as their fit. However, I was somehow disappointed since the right arm makes a clicking sound (plastic rubbing) when we open or close it.

Also the right arm again was slightly wobbly if we hold it to adjust the glasses on our nose. I then noticed the screw was not 100% tightened when I used a precision screwdriver to tighten it. However the clicking sound is still there and it is still slightly wobbly as well when we hold the arm to adjust the glasses on our face.

The right arm simply does not feel solid and smooth. On the other hand, the left arm is very smooth and feels tight and solid when we open and close it. Although I believe the right arm has a manufacturing flaw, I did not want to return them and wait again for another unit to be prepared and shipped to me because I had to install my prescription lenses at my optometrist here to use my glasses when I drive.

Again, the frames are nice and classy and fit me well but I believe for a Ray-Ban and for the price, the manufacturing flaw in the right arm is disappointing. This is the type of manufacturing flaw we find usually in much less expensive frames.

I already owned the same frames as I ordered from you. It turned out buying new frames of the same make and model I had with new lenses was cheaper than the quote Lens Crafters gave me to only replace the lenses in my old frames.

Good communication regarding my order. Excellent quality frames. Great quality of craftsmanship. If I nit picked, I’d say the lenses should’ve been sent clean. Instead I received them covered in dust from the lens shaping process and a tacky film that took a few washings to remove.

I singleqoute ve had my Ray Ban frames for almost two weeks. I love them. They are super light weight. The only complaint I have is the premium lens (light weight) tend to stay dirty. (Hard to keep clean.

) However, I would purchase these frames again without a second thought! Very stylish!.

I wanted an extra pair of fashionable glasses in a blue color for playing piano/organ at my church. I also wanted a larger sized frame. These turned out very nice. The lab did a nice job on my prescription.

The high-end lenses are lightweight with excellent anti-glare. Very satisfied.

These are the most comfortable glasses I have ever gotten from this site and the fit is perfect. My nose fits , my eyes have enough area to look around without looking at the rim of the glasses. I love that the purple is kind of blurple.

I have a hard time finding blue glasses but these were listed as purple and are very beautiful shade with blue in them. The turquoise is a unique touch. Not my favorite but adds character to the top and back.

I got the size 55 because my face and head are big! So these glasses are v considerate of that part. I feel smart which is a step to becoming smarter! All and all these are classic !

The nose fit is not perfect for me. The Bridge Width is too small to allow for proper adjustment of the vertical height via the nose pads without the lens rims touching my nose. With the near circular shape for 49 x 40 mm lens.

Mathematically. A larger BW. 22 mm. And a correspondingly smaller Horizontal Diameter. 45 mm. Would have fit my 63 mm PD better. I love the glasses. But the nose fit is not quite what I desired.
