OK, so after hearing all the hype about how great these are. I am going to say, not even close to what they are saying. First. The distance is only slightly better than analog, or its the stock antennas that come with it.

Changing these antennas can be hazardous to your health as they transmit a microwave signal to the air unit. Putting non sanction after market antennas could cause brain issues??? I had to find that out, because they dont tell you that.

Also standard protocol for your RX rather than theirs would need to be flashed before installing. I did not know that. I am a tree flyer and proximity flyer. Digital signals gets lost in trees. So as many said its great for flying in forests and stuff, that is just not true.

although I got a great picture when out in the open, as soon as you go below the canopy it become very digitized making it harder to fly in branches not easier. So the reviews I have seen online are mostly guys that DJI gave the goggles too and said dont say anything bad about them or you wont get anything else.

Well I purchased mine as well as a few other of my friends who are finding the same thing I am. I gave 3 stars because I do get a little more distance from them and in the clearing the picture quality is great.

They are not bad goggles. Just not worth all the hype they have been getting. Also all the reviewers say the latency is no big deal, but when you are a proximity flyer. it makes all the difference in the world.

So to sum it up. Pros – A great picture in the open and good distance – but sketchy in tight places. The cool look and skins they have tor these are cool looking. Cons – The goggles are much larger than fatshark or other goggles, so they are hard to get in your backpack or small case.

The picture breaks up not too far from the controller and the only clear spot you see is in the center of the screen. They dont have a fan inside to keep the screens from fogging up. The need to purchase extra foam out of the box, because they do not fit anyone’s face, everyone I talked to had to buy the soft foam.

extra cost for something that should be there already for 500 dollar goggles. No battery harness on the side of the strap to hold the battery. and extra long cord so you can have the battery in your pocket???? really? dont put your googles down and still have the battery in your pocket.

The strap should have a place to put the battery and a shorter cord for it as well. This should be standard for any goggle. and it is except these??? I did use one of RDQs straps to strap it to the side and it works, and another strap to hold the cord together.

that should not be necessary ============================================================================= In closing you may find these goggles to be just great, and love them especially if you have regular goggles, I switched my HDO2, and I say the picture is much more bright and punchy in those over the DJI, but if you have regular ones it would be worlds different.

Also you may purchase after market antennas and get better penetration but you risk a brain tumor. all I am saying is do the research on the goggles before making the switch, you may find they aren’t worth what the reviewers say.

I have two of these car chargers that I use on long camping trips. I use two because while they work with the DJI charging hubs the connected batteries charge in series (one, then the next, etc). Thus with two chargers you actually get twice as many batteries charged in the same amount of time.

As best I can tell, these car chargers work as fast as the AC chargers as long as your system provides great enough voltage. In many vehicles with older batteries and thin wiring running to the DC outlets (cigarette lighter outlets) you may need to have your car running to produce voltage high enough to satisfy the charger.

However, we constantly use two of these in our camping truck running them from the house batteries without the engine running. This is with a large house battery bank charged by a large array of solar panels.

Alternatively, I have heard of several people who use large portable battery packs (often with lithium batteries) such as Goal Zero Yeti’s with these DC chargers successfully. The chargers are well constructed and I find the length of the two leads adequate without being cumbersom.

Purchase was fine, price was very good, delivery was excellent. The product itself is quite disappointing, in ways that none of the reviews found on YouTube before purchase mentioned, even in passing.

Firstly, the optics of these goggles are only suited to people with perfect vision. People who can afford the spare cash to buy this product are most likely middle aged, and therefore very likely to have one or more vision defects, like me.

The designers of the optical system for this product have included an adjustment for people with different inter-pupil distance, but no form of correction for vision. A simple diopter adjustment to shift the focusing lenses closer to and further from the viewer’s eyes would have worked fine.

The optics of the current design force the viewer to focus on the screen at a distance of 330mm away (not at infinity, the way all binoculars and even inexpensive children’s slide viewer toys do). This focusing is within the scope of those with either perfect vision, or a single defect in their vision which has been perfectly corrected with some form of lenses or keratotomy (though it causes eyestrain and headaches after a time).

Anyone with multiple vision defects will have significant difficulty seeing in these goggles anything more than a fuzzy image, with almost illegible text in the menus. I have significant myopia, plus presbiopia, corrected with progressive lenses in my eyeglasses, and in these goggles I cannot see a clear image, or read almost any menu text.

Yet I can fly a drone and see what it does clearly, even half a kilometre or more away. The lack of visual clarity in this product is significant enough to prevent my use of it altogether, even while they are in “spectator” mode, with someone else in control of the drone.

I could never dare to use the goggles to fly my drone under FPV guidance. My young daughter with still perfect eyesight has no problem seeing the screen of the goggles, and absolutely loves being in that “spectator” mode, where she feels like I am flying her around.

However, even she has a problem with the other significant defect of this product: the ergonomics of the touchpad-based controls. The way the highly-sensitive control system has been arranged, It is just not possible to put even a single finger on the right side of this (quite heavy) unit, without activating or deactivating some part of its function accidentally.

Most people who put something on the front of their face, especially something of significant weight, would instinctively grip it with a hand on each side, then and raise it and hold it against the front of their face as their head moves around.

Doing this with the DJI Goggles causes the menus to be opened inadvertently, and items in them selected (without confirmation), usually putting them into an undesired mode. Had the touchpad and buttons been placed on the top surface, or even on the front, behind the screen, the menu system as it is now could probably have been managed, despite its sharp and abrupt, almost scary sound responses to finger actions.

Simple push buttons would have been even easier to cope with (in aviation, human interfaces in control systems are deliberately kept as simple as possible, with included tactile or auditory feedback, precisely to reduce the risk of inappropriate activation).

Now that I know what to search for specifically, I see that the DJI customer Forum contains entries from many people complaining about the problem with the optics. DJI representatives on their forum do not seem to respond at all to the issues raised.

I even found a YouTube video where the faults mentioned here are discussed, at least in passing. There is even someone who privately manufactures and sells a third-party work-around system for the problem with the optics, who sounds like they can’t seem to produce them fast enough to meet the huge demand.

In most cases people mention returning the product for a refund. I wish them good luck. I hope the second generation of this product includes a major re-design to remove these two very significant faults, and that enough customers find the current design sufficiently acceptable to make the sales volume justify the funding for the re-design.

Frankly, I wish that I had not made the decision to purchase these DJI goggles, at least this current design, and if the option of returning them for a refund were available to me, I probably would do so.

Although the form of the headset feels awkward on your head, it is the feel of the motion that limits it use. When you move with the drone, it feels jerky and when you use the head tracking, that is when the vertigo kicks in, for some, more than others.

The gimbal-only tracking mode is more responsive so it feels better than the head tracking mode which allows you to steer the whole drone with your head, but with a lag which causes the motion sickness.

It offers a very unique and nice view point, like you are flying, but the apparent distances become very far, very quickly. When the drone is only 50m out, it looks like you are 500m away! The only way to really see things in flight and feel like a bird, is by zooming (max 2x) and then flying dangerously close to things.

You really have to practice, but it is definitely worth it. I guess that is why the Mavic 2 now offers a zoom feature. The colors in the view-port appear a bit washed out, not as nice as in a 35mm camera view finder.

Having said all this, it is still very definitely worth getting the goggles. The only reason for my 4 star rating is just that I think I had unrealistic expectations.

Update: Goggles still working great, did find out today that by using the DJI Goggles HDMI in put I can fly my Parrot Bebop with Skycontroller1 as it has HDMI output, just make sure the goggles is the last device you turn on to bind up or it will not connect, yeah its nowhere the quality as the Mavic, but its nice I have a Film Drone that I can Fly FPV using these Goggles.

Well only had a short time, but love them with my Mavic Pro, super easy to setup, menu was no problem. Was so easy for me the quick guide 2 page manual was all I needed to get started. Yeah the touch pad can be easy touched but I already figured out a way to grab the face side so I don’t touch the pad.

Sliding your fingers up and down back and forth, so easy to go through the menu pretty quick. I really like that I can still have my controller and phone to fly FPV and still have video on the goggles also.

Binding was really easy doing it with a paper clip. Yeah there a bit big and heavy but not that much more than a large box FPV Goggle for racers. yeah for $200 more you could get the racer edition so you can fly other 5.

8ghz racers, but I have light weight goggles for those flyers. Just wanted these for my Mavic. Most prescription glasses would work, but I had my eye doctor make me a small pair that works perfect with these goggles and my vision with my glasses and goggles is crystal clear.

I never was asked by my DJI app to activate the goggles and they worked perfect out of the box.

I am a few months in to the hobby, and these goggles are working well for me. The 50 degree field of view is a big step up from my Eachine EV100’s (28 degree). The resolution seems pretty solid to me.

I like the placement of the buttons. It’s nice to have a build in patch antenna so all you have to do is screw on the omni. Overall very simple and easy to use! The biggest con is that it doesn’t seem to fit my face easily.

I was able to adjust the foam padding to get it to fit nicely, but it took some fiddling around. From what I’ve read, others have had the same issue. It might help to buy some extra goggle padding to customize it to your face, especially if you have a wider face.

You can adjust the included velcro padding a bit. Also at first I was getting a lot of eye strain and a bit of nausea. This went away after a few uses. Now with a few flights I get some eye strain, but I think I need glasses so that could be a factor.

Getting glasses soon and luckily I’ve heard you can use glasses easily with these goggles. I tested it with a friends glasses and they fit easily.

Very impressed with this product. Screen when looking in them is bigger than I expected and has good resolution. Controls and menus are very user friendly and setup took no time at all. DVR works great with a class 10 micro SD card.

The battery they come with is good, but I find myself having to recharge after one or two days of flying (one day if your using the DVR all day), but having an extra lion battery is no problem to change out on the field if needed and these goggles also have the option to plug in an external lipo pack for extra battery.

Stock antenna are fine, I’ve had no issues, just make sure you use the directional antenna as intended for best quality. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my first FPV goggle, and I’m glad I got this over some of the cheaper models just because this is small and lightweight, don’t have to worry about neck strain or anything like that. I’m docking one star just because I with the patch antenna was external so it can be replaced, but for now I haven’t had any issues with either of the included antennas.

The DVR also works as expected, just pop in a properly formatted SD card and you are ready to go. No problems with the screen resolution or field of view. The battery does drain quickly but it can either be replaced, or my preferred solution which is to hook up a power bank via the USB-C charging port.

With the power bank I was able to keep flying, I just kept the power bank in my pocket and used a short cable up to the goggles.

I had purchased these because i had the betafpv vr01 goggles and just couldn’t get to far away from myself and the signal would start cutting out pretty bad. After getting the fatshark goggles, it was a real game changer.

Good video, clear, range was 1000 times better than the vr01’s. I wanted a budget pair of goggles and couldn’t be happier with these. They fit great but someone with glasses may have a little trouble but can’t say for sure as i do not wear them.

The buttons are easily found and menus seem to be pretty easy to maneuver around. The built in dvr works great and find it nice to be built in so i can review my flights when done or show them off to friends.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a budget set of goggles. Wish i would have gotten these for my starter goggles. Looking through the Vast selection of goggles out there these seemed to be the ones i was after and as I’ve already said, couldn’t be happier.

I’ve had my Fatshark Scout goggles for almost a year, and have been really pleased with it. Battery life is excellent, screen is pretty nice. On my face it seems to ride a little low, and lets quite a bit of light through the bottome of the googles.

My biggest complain is tha audio low battery indicator. While it has a good visual battery indicator, while flying it’s easy to overlook. The issue is that from the time the audio low-battery warning starts until the goggles shut down is ONLY about 15-20 seconds — that’s not much time to fly your quad back to you before the goggles go dark (yes, I have tried several good quality batteries).

I contacted Fatshark to ask if there a firmware update that could fix this issue and to their credit they responded quickly, and the U. S. customer service agent said he contacted the factory about the problem, but in the end there’s no fix for the short interval from alarm to dead goggles.

Setting up and syncing with my DJI Mavic Pro was easy, I just pushed the sync button beside the micro SD card, a red light flashed, and I was synced! From that point on to fly all I have to do is just fire up the Mavic and turn on the Goggles.

The sensation of actually sitting inside the Mavic has to be experienced! All the telemetry data is visible just the same as on your phone except now you can see it so much more clearly and brightly and in full color high def.

I have 5 batteries and I was always disappointed that my phone battery gave out long before my Mavic batteries did. With the DJI Goggles that never happens. I can now fly until my last battery is exhausted and still have plenty of battery left in the Goggles! You won’t believe the fun you are missing without having DJI Goggles! Highly recommended!.

Outstanding! Paired with my DJI Phantom. I can fly! Unreal experience for the casual droner. This set is NOT just for racing. Watching stuff from my IPad is a breeze. You will need an adapter for the proprietary DJI hdmi cable which comes with the goggles.

Very, very cool toy. High quality product, beyond my expectations. The DJI instructions were just as I expected: sketchy. But once paired with your drone, things get soaringly interesting.

Worse customer support ever. When you go to their website, it takes you into a perpetual loop from site to site, none of which can provide any assistance. The “technical assistance” on the phone is clueless – if it isn’t on their script, they literally don’t know what to say.

Long periods of silence, many “are you still there” pings from me, and no answers. Then they say to submit a repair request and we will send you a mailing label. Request sent, nothing heard back. All I have is a case number document that I downloaded, but no instructions on where to send the drone.

And, the issue with the drone is a software/firmware issue, nothing physical, yet they have no clue on how to fix it. Will never buy another one of these Chinese “State-backed” drones and will spread the word to get others to avoid them too.

These are cheap. They’re not junk, but they’re cheap. When you put them on, they are extremely uncomfortable, and they have to sit on the tip of my nose for me to get the best viewing angle. Focusing on the screen is quite taxing on your eyes, but it works.

These are also very bulky. My set of goggles tend to have issue staying powered on if you touch the power cord. I haven’t had this issue while I’m in the air yet, but I have a feeling I’ll run into that issue at some point.

If you’re looking for something cheap to get you into the hobby, these are good, but it might be worth saving your $50 for an investment on a better quality pair of goggles. I’ve also watched someone break this down and they mentioned it’s not truly a diversity antenna set up.

I think the receiver isn’t capable of switching between the 2. Essentially it’s like you put a splitter on the receiver and added two antenna leads. To sum it up, I’m 3 weeks into flying, and I’m already looking to buy another set of goggles.

It’s just hard to decide on a big investment on something like fatshark HD02 or DJI.

I should have purchased the as low price option something like Eachine EV800D Goggles for around $80 as a very minimum get into the hobby purchase. I will likely have to make my future upgrade. right now! These are so incompatible, they are forcing me to jrepurchase in $300 or $200 price range, without even getting a real flying under my belt.

Great starter goggles for my 4 year old. He loves to fly his tiny hawk 2 while I fly the freestyle! Good affordable goggles for friends to just sit and watch and enjoy the show as well.

My main reason for purchasing it was that my phone or tablet turned dark especially in summer when it’s hot. This doesn’t happen with the DJI goggles so it’s a big big safety plus. I didn’t realize how beneficial the headtracking function is when I purchased the goggles: If you are able to move your head smoothly, then you can control the gimbal smoothly.

I find it work better than with the remote controller, much smoother and easier to control. On the negative side I would mention, that it’s extra stuff you have to carry around, but it’s still ok since it fits easily in any standard backpack.

I brought to use with my Mavic pro which give a very much more immersive view when flying the drone. You are able to frame shots better when looking through the goggles, there is also no glare from the sun.

Buying the sports version of the DJI goggles gives you one hug advantage over the original goggles the allow you to use them with any other type of RC devise you could even connect it to your car even your self, it is limited to your imagination.

You would thou have to buy the DJI Ocusync kit. Another use for it is to contact it to a computer, gaming console your any device with a HDMI output.

Never reviewed a product before, but this was near 400 of my own bucks so here we go. Picture is damn clear, screen is smaller compared to my old box goggles but it’s not a deal breaker. Reception with a lumenier omni and included patch on the OLED receiver module is great.

Casing feels a little cheap, but simple and clean. Excellent fit, focus and ipd adjustment, battery case may sit uncomfortably on the standard strap. Besides that, classic fatshark quality assurance and performance.

Included patches and case make up for that steeper price, and shark byte compatibility keeps it from going obsolete.

The reason I give them 3 stars is, the lenses are really close to your eyes. So close that my eyelashes hit the lenses no matter the setting and even after trying every combo of the pads, still too close.

They lose another star for customer service. One reason I was willing to by the fatshark and pay a little more is the reputation of customer service. If I was to have a problem I felt better knowing they were there.

So yes they responded quickly but were unhelpful. Told me ” that’s strange, they fit me fine” and then they asked me if I tried adjusting them??? I pointed out that two seconds on Google others were having the same problem I was told that the thickest pads were already included.

Have a nice day. So I ordered a new set of newbee drone aftermarket thick replacement pads and problem solved. If they fit right out of the box and the customer service was not so dismissive I would have rated 5 star.

But that is not what happend, so solid three star goggles.

The picture is absolutely stunning the goggles are fairly easy to use and the analog recording comes in hand for those quick in field adjustments before final editing at home. I never have an issue ordering from RDQ.

I just love these goggles its just like I’m in the pilots seat. I’m 74 years old and flying couldn’t be simpler as im always flying forward, so no problems with the control sticks when returning home.

The quality is amazing, I really couldn’t do with out them. Can I give 10 stars ? Lol.

The is is an excellent drone setup. Clear as day goggles and camera. Easy to fly in S and N modes for anyone with any experience flying drones. For manual mode flying though, I suggest you log some hours on the DJI simulator that the kit comes with through an app download – its super fun! I love flying this drone – its fast and responsive.

It seems pretty fragile though and I would hate to crash it I love the option of the pause button – this is a life saver. Also, the ability to switch out of M mode back to the safety of N or S modes is convenient.

Great for cruising and exploring. The FPV combo is a lot more fun than flying a Mavic ! Cant wait to see the upgraded FPV models DJI undoubtedly will come out with. This one could be safer with prop guards that allow the braces to also be on the drone.

The cinewoop style FPV drones seem a lot safer than this spaced out looking drone- but its still super cool and I would buy it again for sure just for the experience. I wish I would have bought the extra batteries though.

I bought a protective case for it on Amazon that I like- pictured below. Fits everything any more shown in the photo. One con to the drone is that you can put the props on incorrectly- so you have to pay attention to what youre doing! The drone wont take offthough – so thats a plus.

I think anyone would have fun with this package, but realize that you could cause lots of damage to people or property with a crash at high speed.

EDIT: I originally rated the DJI FPV a one star and said don’t buy it. I kept getting the error message that something was interfering with the signal preventing me from taking off. I read in forums it was the new iPhone, Apple Watch etc.

, to recalibrate everything, to reinstall the software and nothing worked, and yes I did everything, many times. Then I went a bought all new batteries and the problem was solved, it’s the batteries not the drone, not the controllers, the batteries.

If you are getting these error messages preventing you from taking off get new batteries. If the new ones do the same or you get the same error message take the batteries back and exchange them. Once I fixed the battery issues it works great! I left my original post below that resulted in one star but since then the drones phenomenal I bought this FPV drone combo for Christmas for myself.

Out of the box there was trouble with the app updating the firmware so I called tech support and they had me download and update the firmware from the FPV site. After a full day the drone finally worked.

Got up the next day and went to fly the drone and the same issue came up. Updated the firmware again and still the same issue. I own another drone so I know what I’m doing. The FPV is a good thought but just an expensive bookend at this point.

Also, for Mac users the DJI assist 2 will not work with Mac. Spend your money on something else, this isn’t worth it, more issues and trouble than it’s worth.

I’m brand new to this FPV thing and have nothing to compare these Recon V3 goggles to, but I am very happy with them! The screen seems large and bright, and the interface is easy to use, especially for someone that is so new to this.

DVR is excellent to have though the recorded video does skip every once in a few videos. Not more than a tenth of a second of footage is lost, though. Also, comparing to other options where batteries and chargers have to be sourced separately, it’s really great that this comes with a battery and just needs to be plugged in with a USB cable to charge.

The included antenna is basic, but hey, it works for now and again, is nice that it’s included.

Really like them at 1st, fit my big head nice, not really any light leakage at all. After 6 months of use the plastic that the head strap attaches to broke on one side. I had to quit unpacking at my spot, go to the hardware store and by some quick set epoxy and goop it up.

Exactly 7 days later the other side cracked as well. It’s too thin for prolonged use and it’s a flaw in design. I’ve contacted fatshark twice about the matter and still havnt really felt like I’m going to get any assistance from them.

I was just about to upgrade to the scouts too. No way, not now. Orca, here I come.

Great set of beginner goggles for my kids. Now they can learn fpv and we can race. Great value for the buck. Size filter great. Light weight. Screen is beautiful. Packaging and box were perfect.

I’ve been flying leads for years, but only recently got into fpv. My first set of goggles came in a kit and I bought these as an upgrade until I can afford a pair of fatsharks or dji goggles. First, the fit on these goggles is actually not all that bad.

I don’t have any problems with fogging, nor do I have any issues with eye strain. While I don’t personally wear glasses, they do feel like wearing glasses would not be an issue for those that do. My only complaint with fit, it the front mount battery.

It causes the goggles to droop forward unless the strap is well fitted and it does cause a bit of neck strain after awhile. In terms of function, the range is actually pretty good and the signal is decent as well.

The antennas that come stock on these goggles are not the best. But they are by far not the worst either! The DVR functions fairly well and I don’t get a lot of static with playback. My biggest two complaints with the functionality is.

1. The battery meter on the OSD is not very accurate. However, the led on top is. So just be aware of that. 2. The battery takes 3 hours to charge. Which for the size should take half that time. All in all, I originally plan to update these goggles within the next 6 months.

But they turned out to be so good. That I may upgrade a few other things before taking that leap. If you were a beginner and new to FPV these are definitely your best budget option!.

I got these goggles in a combo deal with my first 5″ about a year ago, the drone is long gone, parted out and the frame is pretty well whooped. Now I have 8 drones, 2″ up to 10″ (-8″/9″, w/ some doubles) and I’m still using these goggles.

Granted I have done some serious modifications. For one, the set I have is branded “Arris” and they claim they are the EV800D’s, however, upon opening them up they weren’t true diversity! So I’m not sure if I have the 800D or the 800 with an extra antenna because Arris sells nothing but LIES!l haha.

Regardless, I added a true diversity module and even managed to keep the DVR intact and the functionality the same it just has Waaaaaaaaay better range and clarity. I have yet to see it drop out at all.

Also upgraded the horrible battery to a pair of 18650’s, a little added weight, but that’s fine, I can still charge via the original micro USB which is nice and I made a pack for it to take with me when I go out.

I don’t know, I keep looking at FatSharks, Orca’s, Skyzones and DJI’s, but these goggles have been doing great since the mods and so far they suit my needs perfectly, so I kind of hate to spend the money on a new pair when I can drop $500+ into parts and build 2 or 3 drones, you know? I have a feeling I’ll end up going straight from these to top of the line digital when ever I do upgrade.

I am going to pick up those FXT Viper V2’s to have an extra set of analogs, in fact that’s why I’m here! But that’s not a huge investment and I’ve heard really good things about them. I think it’s a good idea to have an extra set of analogs because why not! Hopefully I won’t need to mod the FXT’s!! haha.

I ended up buying a knock off version of this headset off amazon and the charging port broke after two weeks. I ended up getting a refund on that product and proceeded to buy this headset. This headset comes with 2 antennas, as well as 2 different chargers.

One being the normal DC outlet charger, and the other being a cable that can hook up to a 3s battery which is phenomenal when you’re flying for more than an hour and need a recharge between battery packs.

If you’re trying to find the cheapest FPV headset and want some pretty decent range, drop the $100 for this, or wait for it to go on sale.

First off, I have been inching my way to high-end goggles for some time now. Started with Scout 2 and later got the Attitude V6 then added a Rapidfire. I only wanted something ‘better’ so that the screens would be brighter and more vivid.

I know the ‘shortcomings’ of the FPV. Pilots that the reviewers pointed out but those are all subjective things. For me, someone who games and smaller screens and DID NOT like how big the HDO2s was, nor did I like the OG Orqa goggs, I find these just the right size.

I almost went with the Race model for the smaller FOV but am glad I went with these. The only complaint I have is how far back the battery mount is, but I found the ‘alien’ brand 3000mAh pack found on Amazon to have the perfect length connector lead.

The image is bright and clear and gives whole new life to all my quads both racing and freestyle, I have zero regrets except I don’t want to put my pilot handle sticker on them because they’re so pretty.

Weight is good however the strap is weird. You can’t seem to get it small enough but good news for HUGE head people, you can expand it out like a lot. The battery loop is too far from the port to plug it in and not to mention it bunches up the strap if you secure the battery in the loop.

You pretty much have to barely put the lipo in the loop to be able to plug it in. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of those extension cables. Really wish there were more options for the analog module covers.

The plastic is nice but it would be nice for orqa to make a tbs cover in the same plastic for a more uniform look fit and finish wise. Fan is nice. Color is good. When wearing the goggles you really can’t feel the buttons.

You sort of start pushing on everything to feel your way around. I wish the buttons had some texture to them just to locate them.

Amazing. I’m coming from the Eachine EV200D goggles(which are awesome for the price) never had any problems with them. Great performance, big screens, good DVR. Then when I seen these new Orqas I decided to take a chance on them, now I regret not buying the V1’s!! These things blew my mind, they fit like a glove, super light and comfy, the screens are gorgeous, I didn’t know they could make the experience that much better! If you’re still on analog and are contemplating an upgrade, just do it! Don’t see how you could be disappointed.

And as far as the FOV goes that everyone is complaining about…it’s not a concern, these look bigger than my Eachine goggles with a FOV of 42° so no issues there at all! All around amazing goggles.

I love these Goggles, but when I got them my eyes would no way focus, just really blurry and since my eyes are bad for reading I thought I was out of luck, as for some dumb reason, fat shark does not provide diopters for the Plus side needed for reading distance.

I even had them packed up ready to go back, Then I remembered I had an older set of prescription bifocals, so I dremeled out the bifocal area of those old glasses, cut them to fit and tack it on with super glue where I needed them.

Pretty near perfect focus now, I am sure its just not perfect cause of being an older scrip but still very clear. I also added my triple patch and K-love Clover leaf mushroom antenna and I am ready to go.

I have 10-12 sanyo 18650 batteries so no problem there. I cant believe how much better these are over my EV100’s. Fat Shark says these are 4×3, hmm not really its somewhere between 4x and 16×9, which I really like as I have both and both types of camera’s look really good on those OLED screens.

I bought the attitude v2 4 years ago for $421 dollars, used it for about a week, left the hobby and got back into it couple of months ago. I was planning on upgrading my cameras on my quads to improve the image quality, but then the V5 arrived.

WOw the picture is insane, i can make out details, even text and stuff, the colors is good as well. Turns out i wont be upgrading the cams on my quads after all. One of the things i was worried about this goggle is the FOV which is smaller than the v2.

But I actually like it better, especially the picture clarity it brings to the table. Also the picture reception is awesome as well.

My first ever fat shark goggles and I love them great quality and picture. I used to use box goggles and the fov worried me but I was very surprised that the field of view was pretty big I like it a lot.

Now I do have a larger head some tell me and it doesn’t fit my face perfectly has a little light leakage but I still love it no regrets it’s a great pair of goggles.
