I understand that gamers are starting to spilt into two groups those that like campaigns and those that love the on line play! For those that like Campaigns you will like this game. I got it just because of that campaigns.

As for Call of Duty I passed on their last game and it was because of the fact it does not have a Campaign! I was disappointed but in the end it was their choices to go the way that they did! I am sure that those that like on line play are happy.

All I have to say is I am glad for them and wish the Call of Duty all the best. I hope that some time in the future they will build some games again with good long campaigns in them! I will then be more than willing to give them another try! I do not mean to single out Call of Duty because I now look to see if any other games are following the Call of Duty example.

If they are I do not buy them. There are some out there and I passed on them. Even if they did look interesting! In the end it comes down to what one likes and I hope that neither groups attack each other and that the gaming companies are smart enough to support both groups! Now getting back to this Battlefield V all I can say is that you will like this game.

Graphic are great and game play is vary good but is a little different from the way Call of Duty played in the last game before this last on line game. Just a matter of getting used to it. I really like this game and hope and believe you will also.

This game is a good shooter for multiple reasons. One reason is that it is pretty universal in terms of guns for the support, recon, medic, and assault. While it is not quite realistic to the time period based on the guns you use, it is not a ww1 simulator, its battlefield.

It brought new game modes such as: Operations where you can play as defense which is defending the flags against the attackers who are trying to capture them. War Pigeons is where you get a pigeon, write a note (sort of like capturing a flag) and setting it free to gain a point out of three.

And Fog of War which is Hardcore Team death match and normal team death match. The vehicles are improved, tour bullets can do damage to the planes (not much) and the dogfights seem better and more balanced.

They added motorcycles with the seat on the side like in the movies. The artillary truck which has an AA gun on top of it and a Vickers Mk1 (the normal mounted machine gun in that game) and a new thing called Behemoths.

If the enemy team is loosing in operations they will receive a behemoth on most maps you will get an Airship which is a blimp outfitted with powerful explosive round machine guns, and the pilot can drop bombs on top of it there are mounted machine guns (vickers mk1).

On other maps where there is water you will receive a Dreadnought, this is a Cruiser with heavy hitting artillary and AA guns. The last behemoth is an Armourd train. This has the same guns as the Dreadnought but with added machine guns (for infantry).

This is a fun game in all, but it is for the person who likes fast paced battlefield games, such as bf4 and bf3. So if you liked those games and hardline I would suggest getting this one.

I admit I can be a little biased towards EA’s Battlefield series as I’ve played and loved every single game under their umbrella. BUT! This installment is DICE’s way of showing the fans that they listen to them and that they don’t follow blindly to trends.

Single player is majestic! It’s very reminiscent of Call of Duty 3’s story mode. Which is not a bad thing! The cutscenes are so realistic you could forget that you’re playing a video game and instead watching a real action movie.

The scenes are just that real! I can’t say the story is particularly deep as I didn’t feel too connected to the characters but I felt a sense of empathy. Multiplayer is where the meat of this game resides, though.

It’s is eerily reminiscent of EA’s StarWars: Battlefront (2015) mechanics and handling though just vaguely. If you enjoyed the large scale warfare maps of Battlefield 4, then this has equally massive maps plus trenches! The new operations mode is a great new revisioned “rush” mode with an added bohemoth for defensive forces to divert their attention to.

The usual formula for an online battlefield game is still here, alive and kicking! For good reason too; it just works! Their new model for battle packs however isn’t as rewarding as it was in the last installment ‘4’ and mostly contains skins for vehicle and weapon customization.

Aside from this small rewards system aspect, it’s still a great game taken back in time.

Bought BF1 recently (almost 2 years after release) and put in about 100 hours to get an idea of the game. I play on the Xbox One. Here is my take on it. Pros : looks ‘pretty’. in other words high def and a ton of details Game Cons : Rubber banding, game freezes causing a hard reboot of xbox (about 1in5 games), weapons are invisible for about first minute of joining game, some weapons never show leaving you with no sights or any way to aim, game delays causing ‘shooting around corners or through obstacles’, Play Cons : teams are very uneven and when ‘balancing teams’, they just take the worst players of the winning team and put them on the losing team, I know it’s old now but there’s only one game mode people play (operations) so say goodbye to earning the ‘awards’ by playing other game modes.

It is no surprise considering EA Games loves to destroy franchise games and buyout smaller companies that make great games in order to make money. In short I spent 16 dollars for the game and that’s about all it’s worth (even if it were new).

This game has more issues at 2 years than bf4 had at the 6 month mark. Battlefield had a good run, but this installment shows the run is over, time to find a new team based fps.

AI Gameplay brilliance with Super graphic design visuals that cannot be imagined. To play BF2142 you will need an XP sp2 or sp3 32 bit PC system and play is offline only but with mods that allow access to 64 player maps and another combined mod that gives all unlocked weapons.

An edited file using notepad can be altered to allow for over 64 player bots with upgraded AI. Specific files have to be present in the User/Documents/BF2142 folder to log in because there are no online servers to log into.

Offline only. For it’s time, this game offered PC gamers one of the best offline gaming experiences that the Publishers\Coders EA Games\Dice ever produced; The other, being BF2 that was modded with the excellent mod AIX 2.

I love the Battlefield franchise, I use to hate it because it made no sense when I first played it on the PS2 back in the early 2000’s. Fast forward a few years later and I reluctantly downloaded a demo of Battlefield Bad Company on the PS3 and after months of urging from my friends I played it, I was instantly hooked! After playing a few more games from the franchise on the consoles, I decided to come back to PC gaming and in doing so I found that their were Battlefield games that I have not played.

So I ventured into Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, BF2 is an amazing game and the mods are endless, BF2142 is a good game as well, but I felt they might have rushed it a bit. I felt this might have been intended for an expansion for BF2, but at the last minute they made it a stand alone title.

The navigation of the menus are buggy at best, theirs is not a lot of customization or options like BF2 and the home screen were you have to log in before you can play online or offline really kills this title because the servers don’t work anymore, thankfully I found a work around for this.

My other issue was the fact that you were given sub par maps and only 5 or 6, BF2 had a pretty decent size map selection right off bat. I tried to play online however the servers at Game Spy were discontinued indefinitely which left me disappointed that I couldn’t and will never get to try out the famous online Titan mode or ever level up to better weapons and equipment because these features are not available for offline/single player mode.

I think EA should have made these features and modes available online and offline as well, if they wanted to separate your achievements then so be it, but it would have given this game more life down the road, such as games like the Call of Duty series.

The pros are the single player game plays some what like online, the weapons and vehicles are unique, I heard their are mods for the single player game like custom maps, etc. , but I couldn’t get them to work, I’ll keep researching.

Another cool feature is local play and private servers, so if you have few friends who like to get together and have a LAN party, your golden. This game had a lot of potential, but it needs some polishing up, I only hope that EA does a remake of this game as an expansion using the Frost Bite 3 or 4 engine or adds the features from this game with improvements to Star Wars Battle Front 3.

bought the PC version of the game, digital, but this is completely not downloadable, even when it shows as ready to download in the digital library. Customer service completely useless. After spending 2 hours online, they say the game is not refundable because it’s a downloadable version.

I said to the guy: then make sure you have the technical competency, which they don’t have. Totally ridiculous. I am serious: I have made a resolution to NEVER BUY from bestbuy. They should seriously change their name to worstbuy.

The #Battlefield series never fails to entertain. Unlike #CoD, Battlefield simulates warfare on a large scale. The campaign modes are not great but the multiplayer gameplay is epic. The maps are huge and rich in places to hide, play sniper or ambush.

Players can also command or ride in numerous vehicles including tanks, APC’s, Jeep’s, fighter jets, attack helicopters and boats. Most armed to the teeth. Where CoD has a more of an arcade feel, Battlefield plays more like a wartime simulation.

Vivid, beautifully rendered and every match plays very differently. Players can configure numerous weapons and classes and can specialize in becoming better at assaulting targets, supporting operations and becoming a deadly sniper.

The game is also a memory hog and will always play better on newer faster systems.

I can sum up why “Battlefield 3” didn’t “hit the mark” for me in just a few words. IT WOULD NOT LOAD UP ON MY WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM COMPUTER. On your review options above, I had to choose simply between the graphics being “Good” or “Bad.

” I chose “Good” from my viewing examples of the game in progress on “U-Tube” and from various written reviews of the game. Also, as I already owned (and successfully play) the excellent “Battlefield 2 – Bad Company” I assumed (sadly very wrongly) that “Battlefield 3” would be similar in its ease of loading and playing.

Let me start this off that I am not a fanboy of any specific shooter, just good games. I have both xbox 360 and PS3 and am unbiased in my reviews as I enjoy both for different reasons. On to the review.

I feel I know the guy. The music takes this up to the major motion picture level, as a matter of fact this is more fun than going to the movies. Speaking of the movies the graphics put you IN the movies.

You feel pressure, you feel stress and you can really get into the game. I am on my second tour. just as much fun as the first time. Oh yes the bad guys are also go going, but you meet some unexpedted ones in this combat tour.

Sometimes it gets a bit frustratig but that’s combat, right? I suffered no glitches in the operation as far as the computer version is concerned. I am playing on a PC, windows XP. The game is great, worth the money and I cannot wait till the next version comes out.

Battlefield 3: Probably one of the most anticipated games of 2011. Since the first trailers were released a new hype was created, mainly because of the amazing graphics displayed by EA’s new engine: frostbite 2.

The question now is can it match the expectations? Graphics: 10/10 This is probably one of the most beautiful shooters I’ve ever played; every detail is brought to you in stunning HD graphics that are so realistic you sometimes wonder if you aren’t looking at the new Steven Spielberg movie.

When compared to that other blockbuster, Modern Warfare 3, it wins this round easily. Whereas MW3 still runs on the same engine used for their previous games, battlefield 3 runs on the brand-new frostbite 2 engine which brings along all the new and very best when it comes to graphics.

The difference is even bigger when played on pc! Audio: 9/10 Dice, the developer of battlefield 3, has a renowned reputation when it comes to audio, a lot of their expertise in this area has been used in other blockbuster games and this shows, every gun sounds like it sounds in real life, but it goes further than that, when you crawl through the branches of a fallen tree you will hear the leaves rustle, when you crawl over the asphalt, you can hear your clothes scraping over it, when you aim with a sniper you can hear your breath… there are few studios that can bring sounds in-game as they do.

Interface: 7/10 For the last few years Activision and infinity ward had us spoiled with their transparent menu’s that were easy to navigate and where a new weapons set-up was made in no time. When browsing through the menu of battlefield 3 you don’t get that same flow going on, everything is a tad more stiff and just a bit harder to do, don’t get me wrong, it is not an annoyance to use, it just can’t touch the call of duty interface style.

What did annoy me though was that in the multiplayer you had two sides you randomly play on, but only the American side weapons’ load out could be managed when not playing, which was a pain because then you lose game time editing something fast, you normally want to take your time for Gameplay: 9,1/10 For most gamers, myself included, this is the most important aspect of a game.

Why? Because this will determine if you will keep playing it or not. And to be thorough we have to split this into two sections: – Single player: the single player is everything you expect from a modern first person shooter, it is visually stunning and there’s non-stop Hollywood action all through the nine hour campaign.

Then what makes it different from other shooters? For the first time you almost feel the physical aspects of your weapons, the recoil the way you run with different weapons, the realistic way the enemy goes down, but maybe most important the completely destructible environment, this keeps the gameplay fresh and always forces you to look for new strategic places to find cover, whereas in other games you can’t hit that guy standing behind that pole you now can blow away the pole with an rpg and the guy with it and thanks to the new engine it is all fluent and realistic! The story itself isn’t ground breaking, though it entertains the entire time – The multiplayer: the multiplayer is why most people buy games from the battlefield franchise.

And over time it has built up a huge fan-base. Why? Because this is one of those rare games that naturally stimulates people to play together and rewards them for doing so. Even when you’re new to the genre or not that good a shooter, you still can be of much value to your team.

This can be as a doc: then your duty is to heal your teammates or revive them when they are shot down, as an engineer you can repair vehicles, which are often the key to victory, as a supplier your duty is to supply ammo and as a recon you can put up spawn beacons or scout ahead with mobile robots.

I have to warn you though, when you are a fan of call of duty this is not your kind of game, whereas in COD you mainly play alone and have more of a hop and pop gameplay, in battlefield this will be punished as you will die more often than not.

It is harder to kill someone and easier to get killed when you don’t play organised. This kind of gameplay had made the series great but requires team spirit! Lasting appeal: 9,5/10 Due to the enormous amounts of stuff you unlock while playing you will be settled for months before you will put this one aside And when you buy the limited edition, the first expansion pack will be free with extra weapons, vehicles and maps to play on Overall conclusion: It can only be said that the game fully answered to the expectations formed of it, this is for me the best shooter of 2011 thanks to its refreshing gameplay and visually astonishing graphics.

I bought this used BF2 DVD. The servers had closed years ago. But such classics deserves to be in collection. And I have all major games of BF series in my collection already. So i am not planning to planning to play BF with disc, of course.

There are still indenpendent fan servers but they all have their own game client. But I bought thus DVD to have it among my others game DVDs. Such important game deserves to be in your collection. I would say that it is an important peace of videogames history.

I remember playing BF2 many years in 2000s. It was best multiplayer experience for me in that times. 64 players on one server, huge maps, a lot of vehicles, different factions. Even that it’s all first was introduced in the very first BF game, Battlefield 1942, still BF2 released in 2005 gave us squad system and commander system, it gave us one of first if not the first tracking of player’s multiplayers statistics and so on.

This game was very important videogames industry. And the gameplay itself was mucy more realistic than in further Battlfield games. For example, if BF2 looked like Black Hawk Down movie, BF3 looked like some Michael Bay’s movies.

I am not saying that BF3 is a bad game. Released in 2011 it was also very important for multilayer games and first person shooters. ButBF2 will always be that special and important game. One of the first.

It’s cool to have all the packs on one disk, but now it serves no purpose whatsoever. You are better off getting the deluxe edition of this game as you can download the booster packs as part of the 1.

50 patch of BF2. The booster pack on the disk needs a online code, which EA shut down the link awhile back. There is also no more gamespy, which means no online. Battlelog fixes that, and they give you all of your stats back if you remember all the login info.

This game is still damn good, just old and a little hard to get if you been playing the new battlefields for a while.

Battlefield 2 is my favorite all-time 1st person shooter game. The physics of the vehicles and the different guns are amazingly accurate, the graphics are great considering this game was released several years ago.

They did everything right with this one. I was very hesitant considering the problems with the very first original release of BF 1942 (needed some HUGE patches to get the game to play correctly). However, everything is great with this.

The online game play is great and the game is really set up to encourage teamwork and discourages the people that would come on and start team-killing all over the place. Now, if you do that, your ranking will go down.

The ranking system on this game is great and really encourages you to continue spending time playing the game. One great addition to this game is the commander mode. I really enjoy playing in this mode, though watch out for games with ‘commanders’ that don’t help out much during the game.

A good commander will be able to direct the game, direct his team to objectives, provide support for them, and help out in the game-play as well. Sniper kit usually works well for a commander. Buy it and play it.

You will enjoy it! Just be careful as it does have very specific graphics requirements. My new computer is much newer than this game and has a great vid card, but it doesn’t appear it is compatible with BF2.

BF2 is one of the best console FPS off all time. While the graphics are outdated by today’s standards, the gameplay, especially the online multiplayer, is awesome. The single player campaign is fun and a good way to get used to the controls and improve your skills but the meat of the game is online.

Variety in vehicles, strategy in picking the right kit for the right situation, conquest mode, flexibiiy in selecting servers and sides in game, and the different map types make the game super addictive.

Even the online background music is nice. As of summer 2009 there are still a lot of people playing BF2 online. There are a few downsides to playing online – you’ll encounter your fair share of team killers, cheaters, nowadays it seems like the only maps being played are Backstab, Dammage, Bridge Too Far, and did I mention Backstab?! It’s a real shame because some of the other maps are great but the current players vote for the same map every time.

In spite of all that, the game is still great. Long story short, if you’re on a PS2 and like shooters this is a no brainer. I have a PS3 and even go back online from time to time for old time’s sake.

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a solid game and IMO the best multi player game on Xbox 360 right now. * (written before Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 released) The graphics are very good, not Gears of War good, but very good and look like a 360 game should.

Nice textures, lighting and Weapon and Level design make for an really immersive environment. The sound is also well done and when you jump in a vehical the music changes and gets your blood pumping.

the weapons sound authentic and the only downside is some repetitive chatter during the single player campaign and some occasional voice recognition problems online. The gameplay is great and the controls are tight and responsive.

The single player is good and offers the new hot swap feature allowing you to jump into any soldier on the battlefield at the press of a button. there are also numerous challenges along with the 20 missions in the main story to complete.

But multiplayer is where this game shines. The best part of the online is the class system and the vehicals. You can be a sniper, support/medic, assault trooper, engineer or spec ops. Each type has mutiple weapons and devices at there disposal like airstrikes, Mines, medic injection, multiple types of granades, rocket launchers and more.

There is a type of soldier for everyone and I enjoy playing them all. The vehicals really ad alot to the gameplay too. Fly your teammates over the warzone in a helicopter launching rockets and manning a machine gun, you can even jump out and parachute down to the rooftops for superior positioning.

There are jeeps, boats and tanks too and all of them are a Blast to use. There is so much variety that the game doesnt get old. Overall I think this is one of the best games for the 360 if you plan on going online otherwise I would recommend you just rent it for the single player stuff.

I’ve played GRAW, Gears Of War, COD 2 and more but I always come back to Battlefield 2 Modern Combat. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Hello, and welcome to my review of Battlefield 2 Modern combat for the xbox 360 video game system Graphics The graphics on this game are quite good. From the tanks to the helicopters everything in this game looks very realistic, and adds to the quality of the gameplay.

No complaints here Gameplay offline The singleplayer in this game isn’t very good. The story is pretty generic, but I won’t spoil any of it for you in case you are interested in it. Basically your goal is to complete your mission objectives.

The cool part about the singleplayer is that you can instantly switch to any of your npc allies by pushing the xbox button. You will be doing a lot of that however since your allies are near worthless in battle.

Playing offline is worth a try, but the multiplayer is where this game truly shines. Gameplay online This has got to be one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played. There are a variety of vehicles and classes for you to choose from.

It’s not hard to find a game either. The game has two modes: conquest, and capture the flag. In conquest your goal is to capture all of the bases around the map and deplete your enemies “tickets” whoever has the most tickets at the end of the time limit is the victor.

In capture the flag your goal is to grab the enemies flag and return it to your base. During the game you can call in artillery strikes from the maps command computer to give you an edge in battle. Sound The game has pretty decent sound.

The machine guns sound like machine guns, the explosions sound like explosions. No complaints here either. I would suggest that you rent this game. It is good, but I didn’t really spend that much time playing (only about 10 hours).

The major thing i dislike about this game is that the AI seem to always know where you are even if you try to sneak out behind buildings and all. And they can see you and shoot you down with every weapon, not just sniper rifle, from a thousand miles.

It really get me really angry that you could never surprise them and make a surprise attack, and for the other troops on your side they just run in front of the enemy’s and get kill even if they see like 20 of them lying dead on the ground they continue to rush forward like dummies.

So if you want swear a lot and throw your expensive game controlers all around the place, that’s the game for you. lol. I give this game like 3/10 just for graphique that are goods, the gameplay is not bad and the fact that you can controle almost all vehicle but for the rest nada.

I purchased these 2 games for Christmas for my son’s PC. We were very tight with money this year and I thought it was a good deal. Less than a $100. 00 for both. Unfortunatley our 2 PC’s did not have the graphic capabilities to install these games, and I ended up having to purchase a power supply and a new graphics card for this , to the tune of an additional $200.

00 of which I DIDNT have in the first place, and had I known to check the computers for their ability to run these I wouldnt have purchased them at all. I was not pleased. A disclaimer would have been nice.

Like the ‘China vs US’ theme. It’s like a cold war against China since the fall of the Soviet Union. Makes you wonder how our troops would fare going against the Chinese commies. Adding a more real element by having the U.

S. fighting a ‘Middle East Colition’ reflects war in Iraq and war on terrorism. Such realism won’t leave you on the sidelines of pacifism for too long. As they say in the game “Get back to the field of battle soldier or you will be shot!”.

Bad Company 2,is right up there with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The technical achievements of the game, including its breathtaking visuals, match its high-quality content in both single player and multiplayer.

The lighting and shadow effects are particularly impressive, with light peering in from gaps in foliage, accurately casting shadows onto the players. The character models are highly detailed, the fire and smoke looks great, and the backdrops to each war-torn level both set the scene and create the impression of giant environments, with smoke billowing into the sky from distant buildings.

The single-player campaign follows the story of a group of elite soldiers called Bad Company. As with Modern Warfare 2, it’s full of carefully scripted action sequences in many different locations that will see players traipsing through swamps and across mountains.

At times, the characters and story can become bland and it was more a desire to see the next action sequence rather than the plot unravel that kept me playing. There are four classes, with equipment to unlock for each by scoring points, capturing objectives, assisting friendlies and neutralising enemies.

Players can join squads, and after dying, enter the map right next to their squad mates. Less time is spent running from one end of the map to where the action is taking place. If a squad member is driving a tank, you will be immediately placed as secondary gunner.

The physics engine allows the majority of objects on the battlefield to be reduced to rubble. If a bad guy is hiding near a wall, a grenade not only takes him out, but destroys the wall as well, preventing others from using it as cover.

However, though the destructible terrain can sometimes require a rethink of tactics, it’s more of a nice graphical effect than something that fundamentally affects how the game is played. Bad Company 2 is one of the best team-based multiplayer games around, eclipsing even Modern Warfare 2, and is undoubtedly an essential purchase if you play online games.

If you don’t, the single-player mode is still worth trying, although it lacks some of the magic you get from playing the game against other people. A Definite must for Fans of C. O. D,Medal of honour or basically any type of Shootem up.

The game was used, but in perfectly new condition. Heads up, Battlefield 1942 won’t work on Windows 10, but you’ll find patches on the EA website posted by an Emile44. They work great and will get you playing this classic again in no time.

The graphics are definitely from the early 2000’s, but still so much fun.

I bought this game when it first came out, as I did all the PC battlefield games. When I learned that EA canceled 1943 PC, I decided to play 1942 again. I missed piloting the WWII fighters and the ships, carriers and submarines.

Although outdated now, the graphics don’t look so great, this is the game that started the whole battlefield series. In a way, none of the subsequent battlefields quite measured up to the original. The maps are huge, you can actually move, attack, sink, the carriers and ships.

The classic airplane vs battleship battles, the fact that you can move and sink the carriers and get to sneak around in a submarine that you can submerge, not to mention all the maps and mods for this game, truly make it the funnest battlefield ever.

I actually gave this game away many years ago, when I was playing battlefield 2 and no longer played my older battlefields. But I missed it, and bought it again. Although bad company 2 has great eye candy and destructible environments, somehow, to me its just not as fun as any of the previous battlefields.

I think because its a console game, that was ported to PC. Ea no longer makes PC games, they make console games, and if your lucky a crappy port to PC.

1. Servers nearly empty. Only way to find an online match is to turn in CrossPlay with PC gamers. Even then you see AI players in the mix. Sad. 2. No individual scoreboard or rankings. The squad performance scoreboard goes away too quickly to see anything.

3. No social aspect to the game. No mic or lobby.

battlefield 4 is still the best battlefield, this game has tons of issues and released with bugs. the helicopters and vehicle controls are by far the worst ive seen in a battlefield. missle shoot out all slow and the helicopter just feels like a robot controlling no control what so ever.

Im very upset on how misleading the title is. The game says Xbox Series X but this is not the Xboox Series X version. I now have to buy a completly diffrent copy to get access to all the next gen features not to mention cross play.

Someone seruoulsy make an update to the title. The sad part is both games cost the exact same.

Battlefield Hardline – Xbox One VideoGames This game has great graphics, that Almost makes you feel like you’re seeing a movie when playing it. The visual effects are totally awesome, great storyline! Not giving much for spoilers here! However you play as a cop- drive cars, and other motor vehicles- you bust the bad guys! For me this game reminds me of Grand Theft Auto 5- except you’re the good guy in this game, where as in Grand Theft Auto you’re playing as the bad guy.

Yes, the story lines are completely different- but there’s so many things about the game that reminds me of a few others that I play. I totally recommend this game to anyone who loves playing games with a rich storyline, and awesome visuals.

As a fan of large scale objective, skill, and tactically based shooters I thought this new Battlefield with a twist would be interesting. I was 100% wrong. Handing a well established franchise to a new dev tends to follow this trend every time.

The game comes out feeling like a cheap lifeless rehash of the last title. This is bf4 cops and robbers with zero skill gap. Everything you thought you knew is thrown out the door for twitch shooting.

The maps are boring templates from the awful crime drama campaign, with zero cover and little to no tactical advantages. It follows the “shoot first” trend of call of duty as well as the “who grinds the most has advantageous gear”.

Modes like heist and blood money had a chance to be interesting but turn into a cluster that generally ends before you see much action. The maps are either too big and empty or too small to work for these modes.

Most servers are just conquest anyways, so youre better off just playing conquest servers on one of the better battlefield games developed by dice. Stay away from this game.

One of the best parts of Rogue One was the very ending when Darth Vader was unleashed on the poor Rebels who were trying to escape with the Death Star’s plans. It was almost a tip of the hat from the director to Battlefront II players who have played the Tantive IV scenario! My wife was pretty sceptical about playing XBox (boy stuff) at least until me and my sons forced her to play.

She was hooked almost immediately! She still squeals when Darth Vader appears from nearly no where and swings his lightsaber at her! This game brings back a lot of fun memories from when my sons, now teens, were little boys.

The game itself is a blast to play too. Plenty of interesting characters, interesting playing “boards”, and fascinating battles to try out. I still think the graphics are amazing and the game play is both fun and intuitive.

This game is well worth every penny you’ve spent on it. Heck, I’m on my FOURTH copy!.

The new Star Wars battlefront 2 uses the proven favorite pay-to-win system. No hunt mode, most features arent local co-op, but Im here to talk about the original. This game is from a less greedy time and seems to use the philosophy that if your company makes large, group play, and most importantly fun games, costumers will keep coming back.

This doesnt work if one game is WAY better than the rest, in this case not just of the series but the genre entirely. This game is very much limited by the hardware, but you cant feel it. Space battles feel truly epic, galactic conquest feels like a soldier bulging an empire, and hunt makes for hilarious couch conversation.

So I wont be coming back to this company Ill be coming back to THIS game. If you want to be a wampa fending off an entire rebel force or fighting as and alongside the Ewoks of Endor, tis will play out a lot more smoothly than youd expect.
