wore this foundation for a few months because I liked the coverage. I prefer a more full coverage and this managed to cover all my redness and post-acne hyperpigmentation, but it ended up dehydrating my skin like crazy.

The more I wore it, the more dehydrated it became, and now I’m actually in the process of trying to heal from it. I found out that this foundation contains denatured alcohol which is a known irritant, and I’m pretty certain that’s what sucked the life out of my face.

After continued use, it also gave me serious cake face, and I still got super oily, too. I’m pretty sure the extra oil was a result of my skin being so dehydrated (which is different than DRY skin). Just awful.

I’m now trying out other foundations that don’t contain denatured alcohol and would highly suggest anyone who is susceptible to dehydration or has a compromised moisture barrier to do the same.

My skin is fair with neutral undertones and the lightest color is called Calico and that is the color I use. It matches very well. It leaves a velvet finish that is so nice. I am 61 years old and I love how it looks, just dont put as much on areas of wrinkles because any foundation will crease there.

I have heard some people say the pump quits working. It does not! Just keep pumping it, turn it upside down and give it a few shakes and keep pumping. Eventually you will hear a pop and it will start working again.

The plunger packaging needs pressure buildup and is great because it lets you use every drop and keeps it clean from bacteria. This really is an outstanding product.

I have sensitivities to additives, fragrances, etc. and it was difficult to find a make-up brand that worked and looked great. I took a make-up application class from a artist who worked in the film industry in California.

He only used Mirabella for face make-up because it looked natural and wouldn’t damage skin. I was hooked! The Anti-Aging Foundation is awesome! I love the coverage for my skin that has some sun damage and alot of annoying red tones.

It looks flawless!.

I was blown away at how even and non cakey the coverage is. It’s pretty think so I mix it with my moisturizer and apply with my hands as I would my moisturizer for all over flawless coverage. Blends so well.

Then I go back into my trouble areas that need maximum coverage and apply a bit more with a brush. It’s buildable and has a built in highlight. Leaves you skin dewey and beautiful.

This is by far the best foundation I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t make me break out and it has great coverage. And on top of that, it’s an anti-aging formula. So my skin looks fresh and dewy. Just perfect.

I don’t like the cake face look. This gives you a natural clean look.

Holy wow. Here’s my honest review. When CT launched at Mecca, I had no idea who she was. I saw people fangirling everywhere, attended the online event, but felt a little oversold. I didn’t end up purchasing anything.

Fast forward to me walking into Mecca, heart set on trying the Westman Atelier foundation sticks after falling head over heels for the blush/contour sticks. They didn’t have WA and the AMAZING shop assistant, I think his name was Aaron (Mecca Garden City), spent several minutes helping me find a suitable foundation that I would love – even though they were close to closing.

I wanted something that matched my skin perfectly, that I didn’t necessarily have to apply all over. I’m prone to chin acne flareups but the rest of my skin is usually in great condition and I’m REALLY time poor.

After trying a few other brands, he suggested CT and I begrudgingly accepted trying it. And he swept it onto my cheek and it basically disappeared into my skin and airbrushed it. I literally couldn’t tell I was wearing it.

I happily bought it there and then. He also gave me some great tips for applying it so allow me to share and fangirl over this. I use the Hourglass Vanish Foundation brush and I spray it with MAC fix it + prime spray.

I shake the foundation WELL, and put a squirt on the back of my hand. I stipple brush it over my face – NOT swipe. It blends SEAMLESSLY. I can hardly tell I’m wearing it. I also have super oily skin, so I purchased the Urban Decay setting powder (I liked it more in store than the CT equivalent).

Whether the powder, foundation, or happy combination of both: my foundation does NOT budge. I don’t have an issue with oil through the day, and the foundation retains its dewy glow for me. It’s my skin, but perfect, and I LOVE it.

SO happy I walked into Mecca that day as this is nothing like the other sheer foundations I’ve tried. Also, I can build it up if needed! It’s sheer mostly because I use the spray with it (personal preference).

If I want to build it for coverage I just use it without spray and reapply in that area.

I want to start off by saying that I LOVE CT products. I have been eyeing this foundation forever and finally ordered it. I have fair/light skin with yellow undertones so I got shade 1. 5 but when I received the product and tested it out it was DARK ORANGE.

The color did not match the photos on the product page at all. Way too dark for my skin and the tone was totally wrong. For me it’s completely unwearable, warranting a 1-star rating, but I still gave two stars because although I can’t attest to the formula, I have to assume it is superb based on other CT products.

I will be returning this and ordering the lightest shade even though the undertones described sound so wrong for my complexion but I’m still really hoping to find a win here. My usual go-to foundations are MAC Studio Radiance Face and Body in shade C1 and Bareminerals Complexion Rescue in shade Birch.

Let me start off by saying. I REALLY struggle with foundations! I am 50 years young and I have lines, creases, wrinkles and all things! Every other foundation settles in my lines and clings to my dry patches ending up looking cakey by the end of the day.

The CT Light Wonder is truly a miracle in a bottle! I use this every day, evening, everything. I apply it with my hands (sometimes a beauty blender) but I find that it melts into my skin when I use my hands and the coverage is amazing.

Now if you are looking for a full coverage foundation this might not be for you. You can layer it and build it up but it’s definitely not a full coverage product. But if you are a bit older and have aging skin this might be the product for you.

I also mix a little of the CT Flawless Filter with it. gorgeous!.

I gave it four stars mostly because it does what it claims to do and what I purchased it for, covering spots! As a total face make up… I would give it two stars… Much to dry and hard to apply… But works great for coloring a random spots.

I am 68 and have pretty good skin not too many wrinkles, but I have four or five noticeable brown spots on my forehead. I’ve tried to other products before finding this one by wander. This one covers the best… But I need to stress I only use it on the brown spots.

It is not a make up I would choose to use all over my face. I have tried putting it on first and covering with my make up of choice, But the covering process seems to be much better if I apply it on top lightly… And sort of pat and feather it with a make up brush.

The color I chose is a little lighter than I would like but better light than too dark. One thing I really do not like about this product is the little spongy stick applicator! It does work pretty well if you’re just covering spots like I do… But this make up is surprisingly thin for the amount of coverage it supplies… And pulling the applicator out almost 100% possible it’s going to splash on whatever you are wearing! So much so that I now take precautions every time I use it.

Everything that I’ve personally tried from Wander beauty has been great so far and this foundation is no different. One of the downsides however is the shade range I am one of those In between shades people and so I had to buy both fair and light shades to be able to mix them and create my own shade.

That being said this foundation applies beautifully and blends like a dream. The wear time isn’t long, it did hold up for 8 hours but that was in a situation where I was just hanging out with a friend and not doing much this would definitely not hold up for a whole work day for me.

I think it really depends more on your prep and your setting spray. That being said I conditionally recommend this because as I’ve said it does apply beautifully but for me it’s more about wear time because if I’m putting it on in the morning I need it to last me throughout the day and at my job I don’t have time for touch ups.

I have a HG foundation already but I am always on the hunt for a new one but unfortunately this was not it.

This is a really lovely product, however if a dewy complexion is not what you want then I’d suggest using a powder or skipping this product entirely. Personally, I actually like a dewy look but I have used a powder just to tone it down slightly in the t-zone as I felt I looked a bit too glossy.

The smell is interesting, as with a lot of natural perfume free products, but it is not offensive and doesn’t last long on the skin. Like some of the other reviews, I found the colour chart a little difficult to navigate.

I always thought I was as pale as could be so plumped for the shade ‘Skye’. It is actually a little too pale for me, not enough so that I can’t use it, but I will definitely go up a shade when I repurchase.

The shade range is pretty amazing, I’ve never had it where I’m not the palest shade in face products so thats a really good sign of an inclusive brand. From the looks of it, it goes the same way for darker complexions which is really great to see.

The reason I’m giving a 4 star over 5 is just down to personal preference of how dewy the product is, I wish I could just use it on its own and not have to use powder to tone it down. Overall though I do really love the coverage, it is very natural and buildable, and I love that it has built in SPF.

I prefer a natural ‘no makeup’ look so this is perfect for that!.

This took some getting used to! I have been a lifelong user of tinted moisturiser, but I decided I had simply reached the age (56) when a bit more help was needed to deliver a nice, rested, dewy-looking face.

So. I found this serum quite ‘wet’ initially, and wasn’t entirely sure of the result, and I found myself on those days when I had to go to the office reaching for a finishing powder to soften the overall look and dry myself off (I must add here that I don’t help myself in this respect as I love Pai Rosehip oil as my base moisturiser and this is naturally an oily base to work on! It might be worth considering your base cream when you use this).

I have found, however, that it is worth persisting – use the serum very sparingly and let it settle into your face. This seems to deliver the hoped-for dewy look, which is what I find flattering on my more mature skin.

Beware of using a powder blusher on top, until the serum is fully settled. I have tended to go for a cream blush instead. Colour: I have quite a light skin (blond hair, green eyes), but I have always preferred a more medium/golden look in face make up, which is why I’ve always loved tinted moisturisers over foundations.

Anything too close to my actual skin tone and I look half dead! So, I followed the advice of many other reviewers and went quite dark with Porto Ferro, described as medium with warm undertones. This seems about right on me – and in the summer I can see myself adding a tiny bit of bronzing fluid to get an even more golden shade.

Conversely, in the winter when I’m looking less than glowing, I’ve been adding a drop of illuminating serum (by Nourish London), which tones the colour down slightly while adding a bit of oomph. In this respect, it’s quite a flexible product: it mixes well and you can play around with the effect on your face, without forking out for another colour.

Samples: yes please! These really do make sense as this is a pricey product and no one wants to pay this much for a mistake (particularly over colour, which is such a personal thing). It would also be nice to have a sample size to take on a couple of nights away, for example, when the world starts travelling again.

Spf: this seems to me like a dream product that delivers everything. Personally, I would be more than happy to wear this product through a British summer with no extra spf under or over it, unless I’m in direct sun for a long period.

I do ensure my neck has a separate spf cream on it, however, so I don’t have to work this expensive serum over all exposed areas (and get colour rub-off on my clothing neckline too). All in all, a fantastic product, that just takes a bit of patience in the early days.

I really wanted to love this… I was lucky enough to be invited to the online Ilia masterclass and receive the beautiful sample gift box afterwards (so I could colour match). I ended up buying this during our Sydney lockdown and via the click and collect service and picking the wrong colour (fortunately) I was given the sample pot so I didn’t ruin the large bottle.

I swapped that to my correct shade which was lovely BUT…. on my combo (oily leaning skin) it wore off really quickly and made me look so greasy for the first couple of hours of application. Coupled with mask wearing I basically had no coverage after a few hours.

Was so sad as I wore this on a shift at work in retail and I looked pretty awful by the end. I’ve tried this a few times with different primers and powders but could not get it working for me. I know that it would be amazing for some though.

I wouldn’t recommend for mask wearing though as the transfer is intense but gawd I wanted to love this. It was like trying to make a failing relationship work.

I’ve been trying this foundation for over a week and I love it! The formula is little running, what I like because it does not fell heavy or caky. The finish is a natural matte, what I also love! Because you can make it look natural, little mow glowy or super matte.

Depends what mood you are on. It’s like you have three different foundations in one. It also keep the shine over control. Obviously you’ll need to retouch, with a little bit of powder, after some hours.

The only thing I don’t like about it, is that is not transfer proof. It bothers me because is one of their promises about the product. I have not tried a no transfer foundation, so far; and I don’t expect it to be life proof, but when the brand affirms that information it just disappoint me.

That’s the reason for the 4 stars. The shade is algo a little darker for me, but is not a dealbreaker. I just recommend to try it on before buying it.

This product is a gorgeous dewy foundation but I was flabbergasted by how little product you get for the price. It’s not something I could justify purchasing again for that reason though I do really like the foundation.

It gives light to medium coverage and such a pretty natural finish. The color range unfortunately isn’t great, but I managed to find a shade that matched fairly well – had to sample a few shades first however.

I watched a review by Michele Wang and decided to try it. I love the moisture foundation so much – it’s replaced all my other foundation type products. it feels great, looks great and is moisturizing.

I would say if you want long coverage, you might need 1) do a touch up or 2) add something heavier. But for everyday wear, this is my absolute new favorite.

I used this a couple of years ago and it was wonderful but oxidized horribly. I remember I do agree that it is tricky to use because the consistency is watery but remember it is not filled with silicone, dimethicone, or other bad stuff for your face and it is truly good for your skin, hints serum skin care makeup! Anyhow I recently purchased again and got several shades lighter after playing with the shades for a while in ulta and watching the oxidation.

naturally I would go with sand but got the cream 08 shade and used highlighter to offset. Surprisingly it works for me and doesn’t oxidize on me to an orange color, which is the issue I had with some of the other shades.

Anyhow I wore it yesterday and received several compliments on how my skin looked flawless!!!! My friend is going out to buy herself some because she said it looks like my skin and asked what I was wearing!! She hates the thickness of foundation so I think she will like the consistency of this.

Remember to shake, shake, shake this up quite a bit before applying because it separates a lot and is even more difficult to use if you do not shake it up to get ingredients mixed. It can be messy to use but BOTTOMLINE I would recommend and repurchase again and again! Just think of the Goodness you are putting on your skin and how nice your skin will look if you put in the work to find a shade that works for you! Totally worth the hassel! Hope this helps.

I am writing this review as a follow up to one that I wrote in the summer of 2021 while in the honeymoon phase. Hopefully, it’ll be helpful for others, as I didn’t see a single review that listed the experiences I have since had.

In short, I have discovered that this makeup CANNOT handle moisture of any kind. If I end up sweating, crying, or out in the rain, it streaks down my face like a spilled latte. When wearing a mask in the cold, the condensation from my breath melts it off of my face leaving me constantly paranoid that I am going to look really weird when my mask comes off.

Sadly, I will need to find something else. PROS— • Covers well • Vegan and organic • Smells nice • Juice customer service has been EXTREMELY helpful in getting me the right color for my skin with no extra cost • Washes out of material easily • Gentle on sensitive skin (I this with the Blemish Clearing Serum and my skin has been pretty happy) CONS— • Does not do well over serums (can tend to cover unevenly and even begin to clump a bit) • Cannot handle any moisture, or it will come right off.

I have found it to streak down my face if I cry, get a few rain drops on me, or work up a sweat on a run. • Transfers to materials very easily. I hugged a friend who had come in out of the rain and left a large smudge on his black coat.

I have always prided myself in wearing very little makeup to avoid these experiences, but now it is happening to me!.

As I’m reading through these reviews, I can’t believe no one has mentioned the AWFUL smell of this foundation. I purchased it because I wanted a natural foundation without all the toxins. It’s watery and runny, but the worst thing is definitely the smell.

It literally smells like a stink bug landed on your face. I only gave 2 stars because the color I chose blended with my skin well and might be okay if I didn’t have such oily skin. But it really makes my skin more oily.

The smell does eventually go away, but it’s just so bad when applying that I don’t even want to put it on. I have tried several other non-toxic foundations. Some were too thin of a coverage, or not good for oily skin, or have even smelled odd.

But this one was all 3 things. And none have ever smelled this bad! Not worth the money. Very disappointed. Wont buy again.

I love this concealer. Those with dark under eyes like me who have tried everything please use this. It’s a Creamy consistency that brightens my under eyes well without settling in lines or drying them out.

As my under eyes are dry so other products like the shape tape tend to dry my under eyes out. But this doesn’t. A little tiny bit goes a long way if your eyes are dry. Tip: I tend to remove the sponge with some tweezers as I find this helps stop wasting the product that gets absorbed into the sponge and control the amount that goes on my face.

Also don’t fancy putting the sponge on my face. I apply it on my hand and then with a concealer brush. The yellow neutralizer version helps to conceal the purple under my eyes the pink toned version called brightner helps to do what it says, brighten.

I love how it stays on all day. Using a pink undertone concealer was a new concept to me as I am olive tone but it really helped to brighten my complexion and colour correct my under eye area better than a yellow tone does! Wouldn’t recommend for spot coverage but definitely under eyes.

Another Maybelline product to add to my favorites list. Combined with light as an air base, I get great coverage and an incredibly youthful look. This is a photo of my last birthday. I won’t say my age, and you will never guess! Thank you for a great product.

I like that it has Goji berries and collagen. I feel like I’m applying a healthy treatment to my skin while putting on makeup as well. The applicator is excellent and helps to apply properly and quickly.

I love this and at this price, you can’t beat it. I saw reviews where people hate the sponge applicator, but that’s my favorite part. Very easy, without clutter. The sponge has never crumbled with me.

I use a brush to mix it. I don’t think the applicator sponge is designed to mix, maybe that’s where the bad reviews come in.

I really love the how bright the porcelain shade was and how nicely it blended with my foundation. It gives you a “snatched/face-lift” like appearance when applied under eye. I would love to try different shade to contour.

Only critic would be the applicator I don’t like the puff ball. It causes streaky application but it’s not a deal breaker because you can fix it with a beauty blender or brush.

I’ve bought this product 2 times now. I’m using a color 5. I really wish they have this brand in most of the Mecca instead of just Armadale. cause you definitely don’t wanna spend 100 bucks on a foundation and it arrives the wrong colour.

But, it was worth the travel! Really light weight, and the coverage is awesome. I’ve got dark acne spots and this one can cover 85-90% without any concealer. My skin is really dry, this foundation make my skin looks radiant.

Not glowy or dewy. Just nicely radiant. I’ve recommended this to my friend and she loved it too! It doesn’t really cause white heads or break out. I’m really satisfied with this purchase.

Hate the feeling of applying thick, cakey, pore clogging foundaion with a brush that you then need to take with you to work, and then have to make up remove at night. Have used messy mineral makeup for a long time as an alternative.

This wand works just great: light to medium coverage and not too thin or thick, comfortable to wear, doesn’t feel like you will get it all over your clothes, and it has a beautiful skin-like appearance that does not settle in lines.

Huge bonus is the attached brush and love that I can keep ths is a big pocket. I like and don’t mind the brush- I’ll apply one click in small circuar motions accross my entire face, then go back and apply more and even out.

This does not make me break out and the brush stays in decent condition for the length of time you use it as long as you use it carefully and are not too rough. The only cons: feel the need to touch up more than once or twice a day, pretty expensive.

Also does not last through a workout or brisk walking outdoors. Also, for problem spots, I will apply the Surrat concealer pallet before using this, then the Hourglass concearler stick after applying this.

Also think this is fragrance free. Can’t tell if using a primer or not helps. Shade two matched for my fair skin but shade three matches much better.

This was used on me for a recent wedding I went to by a make up artist at Space NK. Make up was applied around 1230pm and I left the dancefloor at around 130am and woke up (yes slept in my make up) at 7am and can honestly say my make up looked almost as good.

Even having slept in it, I didn’t have that awful thick feeling on my skin that I’ve had with other make up that I’ve slept in. I loved this foundation’s application, the finish, not too dewy but not too matte, I loved the built in brush BUT, until they sort a refillable version of this I’m not buying.

The minute they do, I will be buying this foundation probably for the rest of my life. It was heaven sent.
