This foundation is lightweight with excellent coverage. I love that it contains collagen and is good for my skin. It goes on smoothly, lasts all day, and hides some of the fine lines. I’ve tried so many foundations and this is the one for me!.

I’m loving this foundation. It’s soft and not too matte. I like matte but not when it’s too hard core. This is a perfect matte / dewy look with great coverage. Goes on like a dream and lasts. The Soft beige was perfect for my skin tone.

My only complaint is that they didn’t fill the bottle all the way. It looked like it was missing some content. Other than that, this will definitely being going into my rotation.

I love this make up. it is my go to. Haven’t found a better one for my skin in years and years. HOWEVER. The packaging is dreadfully designed. The sponge is in the lower chamber and touches the mirror so the mirror gets dirty and smudges and smears badly when you try and clean it off.

Then you have to take the sponge out and wrestle to close the middle bit to get to the make up in the top chamber. Then, you have to wrestle to go back to the bottom chamber to see the mirror (it’s all so fiddly and hard to get at).

Who engineered that? Not a woman I’m guessing! Yikes! The old brown packaging was way better. If the packaging was better and more intuitively engineered I’d give it 5 stars. :).

I tried this as I wanted to find a light weight coverage, not as heavy as my normal colorstay foundation from Revlon. It’s fantastic! It doesn’t sit in fine lines and provides lovely coverage which is build able to your desired level.

Very easy to apply. Looks very natural. I don’t even feel I need to use powder on top although you obviously could. I’m in my 50’s and don’t want to draw attention to my skin and this gives a very subtle, realistic look and feel.

Highly recommended. Make not go back to my original foundation!.

I have used this on and off for 10 years at least, but as some have mentioned, I hate the newer white compact. I always switch foundations but this one is always in rotation, I always go back to it. I recently bought one and the colors and/or formula seem way different now.

I loved the bronze compact much better, it was slimmer and didn’t look as dirty after being used. And the shades are so limited. Medium beige used to be a perfect match for me and now it seems more grayish, and all of the other shades do not match me at all.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that every drugstore I’ve been to that carries it seems to have really old, expired-looking products, they all have dust on the boxes and the color on the box is all faded.

So I would suggest ordering online to be sure its not an older one. It is a beautiful formula that has always left my skin looking dewy and natural so I hope they continue making it and possibly adding more shades to choose from.

I’m 50+ and find that I can’t wear many of the foundations I used to because they settle into and exacerbate fine lines – especially at the edge of the eyes. I love that there is enough coverage to hide my rosacea and sunspots while still being sheer enough that the two beauty marks on my cheek still show through so my makeup looks very natural.

I also use this on my eyelids and mixed with a little concealer below the eyes to conceal circles. You do need setting powder to hold everything in place all day. There is surprisingly little transfer (I do use a setting spray).

The coverage is buildable so I add another layer if I’m planning to go out at night or to an event. I have very sensitive skin and this does not break me out.

I have very dry skin and the original kept my skin moisturized throughout the day. Although it is not as long wearing as the new version, I never thought my skin felt dry. With this new version, my skin is without a doubt dry at the end of the day.

It wears well and it’s not a bad foundation but it went from an ideal dry skin foundation to a foundation more for combination skin types. It’s disappointing but brands tend to reformulated their classics at some point.

My mom actually gave me this – and I’m completely IN LOVE with it. It’s soooo lightweight. I hate makeup that feels like it’s going to get all over everything, cakey, or even the wrong shade. I got the color light and it’s perfect.

It goes on so nice. Instant coverage. Feels like nothing is on my face. It doesn’t get all over my daughters clothing (toddler so I’m constantly picking her up) It’s totally worth the $20. I have bought so many high end brands of foundation and this one has been my favorite out of them all so far.

I don’t notice any weird smells, I seen a review that mentioned that. You can even build the coverage if needed too. I have had my spray for a few months now and it’s still has life in it. I don’t want to run out so im about to purchase soon! Just give it a try if you want something with coverage and lightweight.

I’ve been struggling to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. All of the lightest shades in all of the foundations I’ve ever tried are significantly too dark. This mixer was the first one I tried and is definitely required for people with very light skin.

It does what it is supposed to do, the white shade lightens your foundation. However, the quality is mediocre. Don’t get me wrong, the product is fairly priced and acceptable, even useable. Just for a very short amount of time.

Pros: -Lightens foundation as indicated. -Pigmentation is acceptable. Not too intense but not unnoticeable. -Mixes very well and very easily with the foundations I’ve tried it with (Mostly water based) Cons: -Not for oily skin types.

I have combination skin with dryness but will get oily on my nose after a few hours. Without the mixer, my foundation lasted a long time and did not give the melting effect. With the mixer, I feel and look oily on my t zone within a few hours.

(this is with primer and setting powder) – The mixer completely changed the finish of my foundation which is very unfortunate 🙁 I love my foundation so much but with the mixer it ends up looking a little cakey at first and much worse after a few hours.

My foundation is also very lightweight, but with the mixer it feels a little heavier. It also feels wet and doesn’t quite fully dry ever. Even after setting with powder. – It has very little coverage so additional layers are necessary on problem areas.

(Be careful though, the more you put the stickier it will feel. ) I really feel as though it took away a lot of my foundation’s coverage. This might just be because of the light color though. -The mixer will change the consistency of your foundation, making it significantly more runny (this doesn’t bother me as my foundation is already quite liquidy).

Overall: This mixer is great for making sure you don’t look like an Umpa lumpa. It is the first time I’ve ever had any foundation be remotely close to the color of my neck. I’m satisfied with the product quality for the price paid and I also appreciate that it is a cruelty-free product.

I would recommend this to anyone who is having issues with their color match and are on a low budget. However, I do not recommend wearing this for any longer than 6 hours if your skin is at all oily.

The mixer does its job, it’s just really unfortunate that it changes the finish of the foundation I use so much. That is my biggest complaint by far.

I purchased this along with the new Control Drop Foundation in the palest shade. Since I have yet to find a foundation pale enough I purchased this just to have in case I wanted to mix it with other foundations.

This on it on when blended matches my skin perfectly. So I decided to make this my under eye concealer for brightening purposes. Most of you that are extremely pale to know that it is impossible to find a light enough concealer for this because all the “brightening under eye concealer” match our pale skin and don’t really brighten because it blends right in or its to dark.

This worked for me. And a little bit goes a long way so this will last me for a while. I have tried white foundations in the past, most from Hot Topic or along those lines but this does a MUCH better job and I like that it is in a squeeze tube so its easier than dumping it on your finger.

I wish NYX would bring in a while concealer or a really pale concealer for the pale girls and guys! I have oily skin that tends to get dry patches. And although my face will never look contoured and highlighted like tanner girls since I probably wont ever be able to pull of the highlighted part due to being blindingly pale this gets me close to it.

For this amount of money I’d say give it a try. I personally don’t know about how well it mixes with foundations as I have not done that with this as intended but it makes for a great undereye concealer/brightener.

I disagree with some of the oily skin reviews on here. Lately Ive been trying to be more minimal with my makeup think glossier without the price tag and pore clogging formulas and this foundation serum has been perfect for that.

I have oily skin and find this to be a lovely natural looking foundation I can wear everyday with a bit of mascara, brow gel and lip stain, to just feel a bit more put together. This product sets on your skin and you hardly feel you are wearing anything.

As the day goes on your natural oils will come through, but nothing a bit of blotting sheets cant fix, and this product doesnt encourage or influence my oils, they would come through if I wasnt wearing anything.

The finish is really natural, I just use a little to get a bit of healthy radiance to my skin so I can feel a bit more confident day to day. If that sounds like what youre looking for, go for it. If youre looking for a heavier coverage or a matte finish, look elsewhere.

I’m writing this review with mixed feelings, not about the product, but the company. This Sea water foundation is probably the best foundation I’ve ever used. The color match is exact, because there are so many to choose from.

The coverage is perfectly light to medium, so it doesn’t feel heavy. It covers my rosacea well. It can tend to smudge off, but most liquid foundation does. Keeps my skin looking hydrated. BUT when ordering this time, I was told the Sea foundation is being discontinued! This makes no sense! The excellent reviews should obviously prove that Tarte should continue making it.

Because my shade went out of stock after my order was placed, and I had to wait a bit to get a replacement, the rep sent me a travel size of their new foundation that’s supposed to be comparable. It was not at all.

Too thin and watery. I’ll continue to order my shade of this Sea foundation online, anywhere can find it, until they are all gone.

Loving this lightweight formula. I’m one for tinted moisturizers and effortless time spent on getting ready. I wanted something a little bit more buildable and long lasting than the average tinted moisturizer and tried this out.

This is very longlasting even without stayspray and its super lightweight, breathable, and moisturizing but not buttery (and buildable coverage but not heavy or cakey). Instantly gives a fresh look and doesn’t crease.

Perfect for my dry/normal skin combo and covering darkness below the eyes. If you don’t like a just woke up like this look, you may not like it but I bet you’ll love that ;). Makes the morning routine effortless – just add a bit of blush, mascara and a lip balm to make an easy to go routine.

A+ for low maintenance effort and high quality reward! Pair with your fave moisturizer for extra hydration and its a match in hydration heaven. I look forward to trying Tartes other hydrating formulas they’ve come out with in the SEA line (my ultimate favorite!) P.

s. I Love that they are making skin tones for people with a neutral lighter skin palette but with olive undertones – something I never could find before with such a good quality product that aligns with my values + sensitive skin needs.

My skin is combo, rosacea, extremely sensitive. I’ve been using this product from my early 20s and I’m currently 35. I’ve used it in humid hot sticky weather to extremely hot and dry weather and also freezing cold weather, but mind you I pride myself on my skincare (Korean based 10 step) and I set my base for this foundation sometimes simply using just a good moisturizer or a combo of moisturizer and a great primer but mostly combo moisturizer and primer (I use hourglass mineral veil primer).

This has worked for me every time in all those circumstances. It doesn’t oxidize and it doesn’t cake as long as you don’t cake it on (lol). It’s buildable so caking it on really thick is unnecessary because it’s mineral based anyway and has a really natural yet full coverage look to it.

It surprised me in that way too. The buildable coverage allows for that customizable finish you want so light or full it’s up to you but it will absolutely cover any flaws no matter what, and it will definitely last all day no need for setting powder but I do recommend a setting spray for a 24 hour hold.

I also recommend blotting sponges for extremely oily areas or oily prone skin types for touch ups throughout the day, especially if you’re going to special events or it’s very hot or humid. All in all I highly recommend this product.

This powder foundation is the best! Full coverage natural look where more can be added as needed or less with no cakey or other issues most foundations have. Made of the best and highest quality ingredients that won’t harm or hurt people like myself that have sensitive skin amd/or easily triggered (such as clogged pores, acne, burning sensation) from even “hypoallergenic or high quality products”.

For my complexion I use two tones fair-light honey and fair-light neutral to compliment my skin and for best results. In the summer i can typically use fair-light honey on its own and winter Fair-light neutral.

I just received this in the mail today, tried it on my skin, and I’m blown away. Although I can’t speak to the long term use of this foundation, I can say my first impression is that this is one of the best foundations I’ve ever used.

I had to order the lightest color currently available, as the first 2 shades are sold out on here, and it’s a little dark but I am making it work. It appears to be getting discontinued which is unfortunate.

I am going to try and find another site to buy the lightest shade from. It makes my skin look flawless with a soft matte finish. I like the idea of a cream to powder foundation and i’ve tried a few, but they didn’t seem to live up to the claims.

After wearing this in 95 degree weather for several hours I can say my skin still looks amazing. I have combo oily/dry skin with a ton of acne scarring and this seems to smooth out my scars and pores.

The SPF is a bonus. Love!.

I just found out that Cle de Peau is discontinuing this wonderful foundation. This comes to me as a big surprise. I have been using this foundation since it was launched almost 2 years ago, and have loved this foundation for its beautiful finish and ease-to-apply.

This has become my go-to foundation on a daily basis in the pre-COVID period. I actually love this foundation more than the radiant liquid foundation and the radiant cushion foundation for its clean, matte-looking finish.

I know this product is not cheap, and I would need to use 3 – 4 compacts a year. But still, I love this foundation for the convenience and beauty it brings me. I would love if Cle de Peau will continue or re-introduce similar cream-to-powder foundation in the future.

I have loved & used Cle de Peau Radiant Powder to Foundation for years. Unfortunately, it is being discontinued and my shade was unavailable to purchase. In lieu of the Radiant Powder to Foundation, I decided to try the Radiant Cream to Powder foundation in my shade.

Living in a humid climate, I prefer the Radiant Powder to Foundation, however, this formula is quite nice. I have been a fan of Cle de Peau for quite some time. I bought 2 since it was marked down on the CDP website.

How can I explain my love-hate relationship with this foundation?? Well I’ll start by saying that this is my go to foundation for everyday wear. It lasts ALL DAY! I don’t have to retouch it at all and by the end of the day it looks as if I had just put it on, it always leaves me with a flawless finish.

HOWEVER, I have an office job which means I’m not out in the sun doing any physical activities that would cause me to sweat it off. This is where the downside to this foundation comes, it does a HORRIBLE job against water.

Its a water based foundation so even tears will wash this off. I get allergies from time to time which causes teary eyes & on those days I can’t wear this foundation because it will come off completely around the eye area.

You can’t get ANY water around your face or this will come off COMPLETELY. Needless to say, its not recommended to wear for a day out in the pool, or for any sort of physical activities that will cause you to sweat.

Don’t buy this if you live in a high humidity area or this will come off as soon as you walk out the door. I would mainly recommend this for special events like weddings, anniversary parties, business dinners, etc.

I ordered a full Aeroblend airbrush kit off of Amazon and though the product wasn’t the best I’ve used, it was unbeatable for the price. After using the samples and finding the color that matched my skin the best, I ordered a full-size foundation bottle.

When the bottle arrived, the color (N10) was completely different than the sample bottle I had been using. I contacted customer service and got a prompt response and a different bottle (N20) shipped to me.

The new bottle was much more like the sample I had been using, and I’m very grateful for the fast and friendly customer service in fixing the issue! Though I do really like the foundation because it provides decent coverage and doesn’t irritate my extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin, my foundation bottle leaks all of the time! I thought that maybe the issue was that I had it in my makeup bag (so it wasn’t always standing upright), so I began storing it on a shelf instead.

Every time I go to use the foundation, without fail, it is leaking out of the cap and all over the bottle. I always check and tighten the cap, but there is never a time that product isn’t seeping out somehow.

I wouldn’t consider it such a big deal if it didn’t leak while I was shaking up the bottle as well (securing the cap with one finger while I do so). Though you get a lot for the price, it’s really disheartening that so much product is ultimately wasted.

I will continue purchasing, but I hope the packaging improves!.
