20 Best Foundation For Airbrush Look (2023 Updated)

I got this a few years back and just love it!! The shade range however is not very inclusive but if you can find your shade in one of the 7 that’s is now available it’s a perfect summer go to!! It’s light to medium coverage, perfect amount of dewy-ness, and lays so perfect on the skin! I love this for summer because it isn’t very heavy and works well with my other products.

The price point is also perfect at $20 for just the foundation itself and the brush. I also used the mineral primer that came with my kit and it too works great. There aren’t enough great things that I can say about this product!!.

I mix two colors to match my skin tone as I am fair skinned. So I use Blanc and Vanilla. Together they work best for me. I use an old Belletto sprayer. I loved their makeup best but couldn’t afford it! After lots of use this Belloccio is a ok price point but wish it was a couple dollars cheaper to be honest as I am disabled and on a limited income.

After doing my face wash and moisturize let stand 10 minutes. Here is some tips I learned over time: Tip #1: I use two bottles – 1 is a -24oz water bottle empty washed out- add almost 1 cup alcohol and the rest distilled water -shake.

The 2 bottle I use is either a bottle water or an empty 24oz bottled water filled with distilled water. 1st – I apply primer with 1 drop alcohol/distilled water combo now I’m ready to apply foundation.

Tip #2: Filling my sprayer funnel- I mix 1-2 drops of rubbing alcohol water combo in funnel and an additional 1-2 drops of primer then foundation drops & hold finger over nozzle & mix. This way nothing clogs my sprayer & it works great.

Tip #3: If make up is splotchy then turn up your sprayer for more pressure makes a nice even effect. Tip #4: Remember to hold it around 4″ away or more unless covering blemishes and don’t pull trigger all the way back for close up blemish coverage.

Tip#5: If makeup is stuck barely dripping use a straight pin to poke through this helps and prevents it from being to runny like if you used a clothes pin. Tip #6: After applying this foundation it can soon be a bit dry but also tacky too.

either wait a few and put on a setting powder or I do other things for around 30-40 minutes before coming back to finish make-up this allows it to fully dry and I don’t smear it if my hand touches it.

I can apply and go just have to be sure not to touch face for some time after application if I’m in a rush- that I have done also. Tip #7 I clean my sprayer with the distilled water and alcohol followed up by a different bottle of water or Dist.

This is my 1st time trying this foundation. It is good for the price. The color is a bit darker & more yellow than I expected so I think I’ll get a lighter color & try to mix them. It came Very Fast! Only took a few days to receive it.

Your skin must be dry with any moisturizers, serums, etc. given time to absorb for smooth coverage. I will buy again. The color I bought is Buff. I used it in my Luminess airbrush & it works fine with it.

Easy to use and clean, the airbrush sprays the makeup evenly and the refills are less expensive than the other brands. Also, there are a lot of shades to choose from that are a great match for different skin tones.

The foundation does not cover as evenly as I had hoped and one needs considerably more of the product to achieve results, not just 5-8 drops. I have experimented with the product for a little over a week now.

Maybe my expectations were too high or I am not applying the product correctly. I’ll keep trying. On the bright side, the price for these five (big) bottles is unbeatable in comparison to other airbrush foundations.

the rubber hose is not staying connected to gun. Every time I turn on the compressor the rubber hose shoots off the gun-it’s not tightly fitting. at this time I would like to return the gun, the 24 shades of foundation and the blushes.

I much prefer the pod as it works smoothly. I would put the refund towards pod purchases. if someone is willing to jump on a call or help me facilitate this as soon as possible that would be much appreciated.

I have been using the Hydra Lock foundation on film sets and brides/bridal parties for a week and a half and I am enjoying it. It is much more matte than the S/B formulation and dries down quickly. The foundation lasted through a 12 hour shoot day and just needed blotted/powdered once or twice depending on the person.

I will be doing more in-depth tests and comparisons with it this week. I’m not overly impressed with the increased color selection, as many of the middle range colors look extremely similar. It would have been nice if the 6 additional colors were correctors that could be used to adjust the foundations instead of 6 colors that are so close to existing ones.

The packaging is awful as always. The product leaks out all over everything. The mixing balls get stuck in the caps and make dispensing the product difficult – having to turn the bottle up and down every time you need a drop dispensed makes the liquid squirt out or run down and get all over the top (which is what makes such a leaky mess).

These are the same problems I have had with the packaging of any of the small sized Temptu foundations.

The consistency of these foundations is no different than the liquid stuff you could buy from a drugstore. Super disappointed, not enough time to remedy the situation before my event. Having to improvise and dilute them with other serums just to get them through the stylus.

I own 2 and both do not work with this consistency. First and last time purchase.

When I read that this was a dupe for Dior, naturally, I wanted to try it. NOTE: this is not a true dupe. They have two things in common: both spray and both blur imperfections. That’s where the similarities end.

I am generally a straight down the middle Fair girl with neutral undertones. In the winter, this is still a true statement however, I find that I lean slightly pink (making me a neutral undertone leaning pink).

The color match was my first challenge. This shade of Fair-Light with Neutral undertones runs more yellow and less neutral. I can still make it work. I suspect that the next shade up (light with pink undertones) would have worked better for me.

I recommend using a brush and not spraying directly on your face – that way you have more control in how the product is spread across your face. The finish is very nice – natural which makes it not matte and not dewy.

I have dry skin so I always prep the heck out of my skin regardless of what foundation I use. The coverage is a true medium. It does play well with almost all other product types (creams and powders).

The key is to let it dry/settle for a good 5 minutes before you start adding blush and any other products. I mostly use cream blush, cream contour and powder bronzer. I also never set my face with powder.

Yes, you could get away with using this to conceal (an all in 1 product) however because this leaned more yellow for me, I used a different under eye concealer to brighten. No scent that I can detect which is a positive.

As everyone else has mentioned, the biggest challenge is the nozzle. It will eventually clog if you don’t take care of it after every use. I use an alcohol wipe and that prevents the issue. While this has just a tiny bit more product in it (2.

3 Oz compared to Dior 2. 5 Oz) it may seem like you go through this faster if you’re trying to get the same coverage. Dior coverage is Full with a Radiant Finish. The Sephora foundation is medium with a natural finish.

I am 42, with a few fine lines and lots of freckles. I have always dislike liquid foundations because it doesn’t matter how natural or radiant they claim to be, they still look too heavy and accentuate my fine lines, specially around my mouth.

Lately I have been distancing myself from powder products like brush, bronzer, contour- because they just make my skin super thick and look horrible. I saw an influencer review of the Dior Airflash foundation and I love how natural it looked.

However, the price point is too ridiculous for me to try. I just wanted some light coverage that doesn’t feel heavy and leaves a natural finish. I don’t know why I never tried this before! I am in love! super light and natural.

I use the supergoop glowscreen to get a radiant finish. I have normal skin that tends to get oily in the T zone sometimes so I just apply loose powder to fix it if needed. The only down side would be that it doen’t seem to have much product in it so I may have to go with the subscribe and save option so I don’t run out.

Please don’t stop making this foundation never!!.

Initially I was blown away. It applied so beautifully. It layered perfectly over my skincare and sunscreen, worked great with my other products and looked flawless. About an hour into wearing it however, I was mortified.

It started breaking up and beginning SO patchy. I thought I needed to prep my skin better. I checked my primer and skincare to make sure it was all going to work together and it seemed fine? So I tried using it with no primer, less prep, bare minimum skincare and it worked a little better, but it still broke up on my face?!! I tried different methods of application ie using a brush, beauty blender, my fingers.

I feel like I’ve given this thing every chance to work and it let me down regardless, just like my ex. I do like it for spot treating my chest and legs for short periods it’s great.

Great value! Texture is smooth and doesn’t wipe right off or necessarily need expensive setting sprays. Coverage is better than other expensive brands I’ve tried.

This is a great product the color is great for me and works well with my machine. Covers well and stays on all day Coverage is light and you barely feel it

This is my second purchase of this product. I really like the coverage and the feel.

I have been very happy with the Aeroblend makeup kit I purchased. I have tried Luminess, Temptu, Dinair, Art of Air, and Glam Air. This is my favorite, and it is the most reasonably priced! I used the Color Match Guarantee because the kit I ordered seemed a little too light in color.

I was able to get the perfect color, both in foundation and blush. Aeroblend’s customer service is awesome as well. I have corresponded with them by email several times, and always received helpful responses, usually within one day.

Needless to say, this is the airbrush makeup I will be sticking with after all my trials!.

It looks amazing when you first put it on! That being said, it definitely gets cakey and starts to separate on your face after like 4 hours regardless of the amount of product you use. I work at a preschool and one time a kid asked me why my face looked so weird (makeup was separating) when I was wearing the foundation after a few hours! It also it not waterproof AT ALL.

If you live somewhere warm or sweat easily, definitely pick a different product. Also does not hold up well with tears either. Unfortunately I had to stop using the product because it just didn’t hold up well with my activity level and I need something that’s more long lasting.

This product is amazing!!! I have been using it for a decade and it is great for people with sensitive skin. It makes your skin look flawless and is incredibly lightweight. Perfect for everyday wear.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is experiencing breakouts caused by foundation/concealer or anyone who is looking to create a professional airbrushed look.

I got this foundation after watching Tati (on YouTube) do a first impression. It looked so amazing on her skin so of course I wanted to try it for myself! I have very oily skin so it’s super important for me to find a foundation that doesn’t enhance that, I wore it for about 5 hours before I got so unbelievably oily.

I need to try it a few more times but it did look super pretty on the skin!.

Yes, for me it was like a nightmare. First time was a disaster because following instructions, I sprayed directly into a hand and applied on leg and feet. So, everything I touched, I painted. The second thing I don’t liked it was wait too much for dry (even the instructions count 60 seconds).

And I painted a little the car seat even 1 hour after dry. Definitely not water resist at least needs some sealer and I ignore it yet. So Vondra, what do you like about? THE COVERAGE! Totally perfect for photography.

So thank you to influenster and Sally Hansen for sending the complementary Sally Hansen box box to me to review. I love it it made my legs look amazingly golden brown not orange not red just a beautiful golden natural Brown.

The nice thing about this is it’s a great aerosol can you can spray it directly into your hand and then rub it on just like you would a lotion. It goes on smoothly I was able to get a streak-free application with ease.

This is not a self tanner this is foundation for your legs so it has coverage I have a bruise on my knee and it covered it completely. I imagine that if you have veins discoloration ask are any sort of thing you would want to cover it up it would have no problem doing so.

It has a decent shade range even if you’re the fairest of fair skins they have a light enough tan color that it would look beautiful on fair skin tones and they have a wonderful deep color that would look great on people who are already dark and want to have perfect legs.

This stuff at my local Walmart is around $10 plus or minus so it is Affordable everybody can have wonderful beautiful skin for an affordable price I think that’s awesome. I took a water bottle I sprayed down my legs because one of the claims is that it is water resistant and it definitely was resistant I was able to spray the water on Pat those areas dry without it running or transferring.

However with soap and water it came right off with a little bit of scrubbing so that’s nice it doesn’t stick to you forever and you can easily remove it once you’re done. When you spray it on it is not match there is some Shimmer in the spray that gives your legs a natural-looking glow like you just put on lotion I actually enjoy this detail.

The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because when I wore sandals what I had sprayed on my feet rubbed off from where my sandal straps were. If it wasn’t for that this would be five stars it did come off a little bit so.

I will definitely be using this again I feel like there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t go grab this and for those special occasions where you want your legs to look out of this world you should use this there’s no reason you shouldn’t it’s fabulous it does the job and then what’s nice you come home you wash it off and you know you’re back to normal.

It has a pleasant smell has a slight minty undertone that I actually really enjoy. I was skeptical about how this product would work I was nervous to try it but I am so glad that this was sent to me because now I must try more I want to try the self-tanning line I must know more I must have it all.

To me this deserves the same review that I gave the – I got my expectations way too high for this product and was very disappointed. I purchased this to cover stretch marks on my arms in the hopes that it would be a body foundation kind of product but the coverage is way too hard to actually build.

It transfers to everything, no matter how much I tried setting it with baby powder. It’s patchy, really hard to blend. It’s a very orangey tone, made me feel like donald trump. Just a no no for me, I would not recommend this at all.

I have my wedding coming up and paid $300 to replace some of my old temptu makeup. I also paid for express shipping (Within 1-5 business days). 1. Its now been over 10 business days and I still don’t have my package.

If its covid delaying the shipping process, then their website shouldn’t even be offering express shipping right now. I was charged extra for a service I didn’t receive and I would’ve picked the cheapest shipping option possible if it wasn’t going to make a difference.

2. Now I’m getting emails asking me to REVIEW THEIR PRODUCT!!!!! A product that I still have NOT received!!! So NOW I’m panicking that they took my money and lost my package on top of everything. 3. I went to call them, but because of “covid” they somehow can’t answer phones….

(because they might catch covid through their phone ???). So I emailed them once already about the shipping concern and heard nothing so far. And just emailed them again now about the fact I’m being asked to review an order that I didn’t receive.

I have spent thousands on temptu in the past and enjoyed it but after I finally get my money back or my package, I might never purchase with this company again because I’m on the brink of tears with stress.

I am 57years old, using temptu over 5years. This is THE BEST foundation ever. I do mainly use silk sphere. It gives subtle shine to the skin and does not settle or over exaggerating wrinkles as long as you don’t cake on the foundations.

I recommend silk spheres for anyone who have some aging skin if they are in search of miracle foundations! Don’t forget the key is to not cake on! Before I found temptu , I tried hundreds of foundations and drove my husband crazy (with spending $).

Temptu pods last a long time for me and no more trying anything different, it saved me time, money and the stress.

Recent batch seems to be darker than older foundation of the exact same color. Also oxidized badly this time. Never experienced this problem before. Looks like they added more colors on the lighter end of the color spectrum, so I wonder if it’s a new formula? I’ve had problems with clogged pods before, but this one’s a head scratcher.

Quality is still good though, just need the right color now :(.

I once was at a Dior counter and the rep applied the Dior Airbrush foundation on me. I was blown away with how beautiful my skin looked but wouldn’t pay $62! I was HOPING that the Sephora Collection brand”s version of this foundation would be close… I LOVE it! And it’s $20!!!! I get a flawless finish and it’s SO lightweight! It wears well throughout the day and dries to a natural matte finish so sometimes I don’t event set with powder! My FAVORITE way to use this foundation is to save a BAD foundation! It be used over a splotchy application and it will SAVE THE DAY as it is so light… no heavy look! I do not spray directly onto my face.

I use an angled, flat foundation brush from Nyx and just spray directly into the brush and tap into my skin! Can be built to a med/full coverage! I absolutely recommend!.

I applied this by spraying onto a brush first. You do not need a lot of product! It is definitely full coverage. And a lot sprays out, even if it doesn’t seem like it. It dries down fast and not sticky.

However, It is not transfer proof. I applied two coats because it felt so light that I just couldn’t tell if I needed more. well, 2 coats is too much. it slightly looked and felt cakey at that point.

I would suggest staying with only one generous even coat. It felt very light and skin like. I didn’t feel the need for a setting powder or spray until I applied the 2nd coat. I like that it doesn’t look completely matte.

a little light still shines through, but it doesn’t look oily. Just a natural look. It did get stuck in my laugh lines. but not nearly as bad as some other foundations, so I’ll accept that. I did not prime before I used this.

So I’ll try next time. Price is great! Color match was perfect. It didn’t oxidize. Overall, this may be a top fav foundation for me… I think I would recommend!.

I have always wanted to try this! I have read review after review, and it seems to be a fantastic dupe for the Dior AirFlash Foundation. The idea of spraying foundation on your face, and not having that heavy, thick product, just sitting on the top layer of your skin – is a truly exciting and innovative idea and product to date! I actually bought the art of air and love it. I read reviews about the arialwand and they claimed it was better, not at all. First of all the art of air has more colors and sprays more evenly, this one spayed the entire 7 drops on my one check in 2 seconds.

Will be returning.

This was my first ever experience with any type of makeup air brushing. I liked it, but it was a bit hard to get it apply evenly. You will need your make up applicator handy to smooth it out if you’re not used to using it, because once it dries, it dries! The make up lasts all day.

Overall I like.

For the last few years I’ve been on the fence about getting a machine like this, I’ve seen the pricy infomercial selling one and was like no way, then one day my cute lil son watched a on tv about the machine, looked at me and said mommy you need too try this, gotta love the lil guys with their honestly.

Well one day zulily had one on their site and with alk the years I’ve been shopping with them, I knew I couldn’t go wrong trying one, and yes I’m really glad I did, however never asked my son.

I love this foundation. It goes on flawlessly and the pores absolutely disappear. I have tried a lot of different foundations out there and I can honestly say this is THE BEST I have come across. My face looks flawless and I am 62 so I am totally rapt.

I bought this because I’m just starting to wear foundation for the very first time in 45 years and I heard that this was a great brand. I purchased it thinking it was a normal size tube & it’s FAR from normal size!! This tube is literally smaller than my little pinky finger, I wish this app allowed us to post pictures, because seeing is believing! I actually thought it was a gift from Zulily that they were sending me.

Then when I looked at the packing slip I realized that it was part of my order. I went back to my order and YES, it does have the size as. 17oz, but I guess I didn’t realize just how small that really was.

And it’s by far, smaller than trial size! Very sadly disappointed. Come on Zulily, we don’t want to waste our money on items that we’ll only get a few uses out of, even if it was only a few dollars!!.

I applied this sample size foundation after washing my face the night after receiving it. It was amazing, with a natural, soft finish coverage that covered my dark eye circles, age spots and fine lines.

I asked my husband if he noticed I applied foundation. He could not, but said that he couldn’t see a single line or wrinkle and my face looked soft. I asked if I could put a little on some spots on his face.

To my surprise, he said yes. I never wear makeup to bed and we both left it on through the night and next day. I couldn’t feel anything on my face. My skin looked so good after washing off the next evening.

I only wish there was more in each tube. Each probably has enough for 3 full applications, which is buildable if needed.
