There are many forms of cardio for fat loss, but the most effective are high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT). HIIT involves short bursts of intense activity followed by periods of rest, while MICT is a sustained moderate effort.

It is not as good as her Fat Blasting Yoga DVD, but it is okay once a month when anybody would like to take it easy in exercise. She is all over the place – not consistent at all. It seems like she put together random exercise moves in one DVD.
I had this DVD for a few years and for some reason it did not work right anymore. I really missed the routines so I purchased it again from Walmart. The DVD is fun and you can do one or all four routines depending on how much time you want to exercise.
I like Denise’s style and her encouraging dialogue. Some people don’t but like I said I do. Overall a fun exercise DVD.
I was not disappointed in this Denise Austin DVD. It’s hard enough to make me feel like I’ve worked out but doesn’t require too much jumping. I use it at least once a week now and look forward to it each time.
She changes moves enough so that I don’t get bored, yet doesn’t make the routines so tricky that I can’t do them. I would definitely recommend this.

For several years I have been using Denise’s workout videos. Denise knows exactly what a woman needs to do in order to hit the trouble areas of our bodies. I have tried other instructor videos, but none have ever compared to Denise Austin.
In the past, I was able to execerise first thing in morning when she was on Lifetime TV, but I have to resort to her videos in order to continue. The Burn Fat Fast pace takes a few trys to keep up, but it is well worth the effort.
For the last couple of weeks of trying out the product, I have still yet to finish the intense program, but with time like the rest of her workouts, I will complete the exercise. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants fast results.

I started out doing the pre-mixed 20 minute sessions, but now I do the entire 60 minute workout 4-5 days a week. The DVD includes a 6 min warmup, four 6 min cardio sessions, a 25-min. strength & conditioning segment & 5 min.

I have osteoarthritis and am 59 years old. I did zumba until my arthritis got to the point that i could no longer do it. Went looking for something suitable for cardio but lower impact. Got this dvd and have been doing it pretty much daily, and it is definitely helping me keep fit without causing me pain or discomfort.
The second section on strength training I cant do that well, but the whole first half of cardio is just great. Highly recommend.

I work from home and wanted an exercise item that could get me moving. This combo row/bike does the trick. I use it when I get tired from sitting too much at the computer. The rowing really helps my tired hands from typing and computer work.
I can use it as a form of exercise while the gyms are closed due to Covid and when it is too hot or cold outside. Rather than grabbing a cup of coffee to keep me alert around 3 PM – I now choose a 15 min row or bike break.
This machine is quiet so I can even get in a quick news brief or YouTube tutorial. I took away one star as it is supposed to be easily folded away and movable. It is neither especially when you are on carpet.
I leave mine in one location because the folding and moving of this item is not easy as described in the promotional video.
Comparing to the gym we attend (used to before Covid-19) it may not match the feel of the multi-$1000 units, but as others said it does give very good workout. I was very much wanting to use the recumbent bike part of it to see how I liked this type of bike.
Most recumbent bikes for home are not really oriented to put your feet out in front of you like a real recumbent bike. So before I purchase a $3000-$4000 recumbent bike for outside, I wanted to make sure I like the feel of it.
Like some others wrote, the main gripe I have on the rowing machine is having my feet slip out of the pedals. The back of the pedal is too low. I will probably alter mine to alleviate this issue. Overall, this is a great product for the money and includes two/three types of workout.
Forgot to mention, the third workout is doing arm pull-up/curls.
This is a well-made product with excellent customer service. The frame was bent on the first unit I received, so they sent me an entirely new product. I get the workout I want at home and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ve been riding and rowing for a total of 45 minutes at a time. It’s a solid workout, and I can read or watch something while riding. I’m 5’10” tall. My husband is 6’7″. The rower/bike works for us both.

I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion.
The upper arm bike isn’t loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together.
If I am having the same issue after a few days I will try some WD-40 to see if that makes a difference.
I am a 68 year old woman who, before Covid-19, was very active. I bought an affordable elliptical that drains me after three minutes. In doing my research for spin bikes, I happened upon the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike.

This workout is a good fundamental start for me because I had stopped exercising for a long amount of time. I would recommend buying a set of hand weights to use as well (they’re used in the workout).
The workout itself is 20 minutes and for me, that is a comforting thought. Usually, I find Jillian Michaels to be a bit annoying, but in this DVD recording, she is “less intense” (compared to what I’ve heard from her on TV).
I’ve been motivated to do this workout multiple days in a row and would like to do the next two levels of this Shred Series. I would recommend this DVD to people who are interested in getting back into exercising.

First thing is that the assembly was not easy. I live alone and there’s one step which requires 2 people to attach the tension cable. The piece to attach it to was put on too low and it required adjusting and I had to call a friend over to help me troubleshoot.
I’m grateful that we finally got it together but it was very frustrating. About the ride, the seated position glides smoothly and with the exception of my crotch going numb on the seat after 10 minutes it works as expected.
The standing position is a big disappointment. Every time you pedal down towards the floor you arrive with a thud. So the ride is like thud, thud, thud. Nothing like the smooth elliptical ride from the gym machines.
If I had had the chance to test it beforehand, I would not have purchased this equipment because of that, but what’s done is done, it’s not going back now. I do like the look and the size of the equipment though, only wish it was a smoother ride.
The cardio was difficult to put together. When was all done, there was a thumping noise. I was required to send photos and video. We had to tear the housing apart, which was fun! The belt was complete misaligned so we had to fix that, put it all together and still the thump! It urns out the foot pad is hitting the petal arm because it is not manufactured right.
Also the tension at its lowest level is impossible to pedal as a bike. I backed off internal tension, but still to tight to pedal. The company has been absolutely NO help! All I have gotten is being put off.
NEVER will I purchase any thing else from them! Thank goodness my husband does not hate me for this debacle.
I like it but there are a few things I wish I had known before purchase. It’s by no means an easy assembly. The seat does not adjust far enough forward in order for me or my husband to use the arm handles without compromising our back safety.
We do move it forward but can’t lock it in. The lowest setting still has tension which surprised me thinking about people just starting out and shouldn’t be discouraged. The quality of the machine is good and I will hope that will continue.
It does provide a good workout but the beginner will need to be careful especially about their body position.

This is a great all around workout. I am what I would consider a pretty toned athlete. I have a black belt in karate and do alot of interval training, running, strength training and a little yoga. I like all my Jillian workouts as they are all about making you stronger.
I like how she pushes you to do a little more and this one is no different. This workout is a great combo of high intensity intervals, strength, some yoga and martial arts. Very well rounded. Although it says on the front it is 2 45 minute workouts its really 2 thirty minute workouts with a lengthy warm up cool down.
Level one and two as usual. or you have the choice to do both workouts one after the other. I did both workouts back to back first time out and it will make you sweat for sure, but I love it. Alot of variation and fun.
Just when you think you cant go any more you are into the cool down. I love having her dvds as a go to at home when I cant get to the gym or want something different. I do one of her workouts a day, varying between a few dvds.
She is inspiring and likes to bring you stuff that works and is result oriented and I respect that. Breathe, sweat and enjoy the workout!.
I was excited to get this bc JM (on TV) comes off intense and hardcore in terms of exercise. I have tried Billy Blanks and Mike Donovanik and love their exercise programs. When I got this, I was disappointed bc I felt like she prowled amongst her exercisers and their form wasn’t very proper (boxing, high kicks, side kicks).
I appreciate BB’s form for correctness, and MD’s knowledge in Kinesiology and body mechanics. I read somewhere that JMs is an actress acting like a fitness trainer, and while doing this DVD, I got the same feeling (I may be wrong).
I did get a decent workout, but I want to see proper form from the trainer and have it explained as we go. I felt like that was lacking. Sadly, I will not buy another JM DVD, but will buy more MD and BB DVD if I see one that doesn’t require equipment.
This workout will kick your butt! Definitely not for beginners. I think that if you want a strenuous and effective workout, there are much better programs out there(i. e. Body for Life, P90X, and Insanity).
The problem with Jillian Michaels’ program is that there is nothing even remotely exciting about it. The workout is hard (which isn’t a bad thing) but when you add arduously boring to mix, then every time I think about doing this workout, I associated it with torture (which is not a good thing).
I would rather lift weights to my own music and go to Zumba classes. Also, in order to get the meal plan online–you have to pay. I just wasn’t impressed.

I’ve read through most of the reviews on this and decided to do one of my own usually I don’t but oh well. Aside from the taste (it’s the worst tasting product I’ve used ahaha) this supplement really accents my workouts very well.
I don’t get the tingles (which I actually enjoy) or a large pump, but the amount of energy the I consistently have throughout the workout is VERY noticeable. I usually tend to do heavy weight low reps maybe 4 sets of 7, but with this I’ve found it turning more into a cardio/ heavy workout session I guess I don’t really know how to explain it well but if your looking for something that will get you through a long hard workout this is definitely the pre workout to use.
On the matter of weight loss I can’t say much other than it might be the endurance leading to a more likely chance to lose weight I have no clue never noticed much of a difference in that. Overall it’s a very good pre workout that I cycle in on a regular basis.
I was really excited to try this product because it claims to give you so much energy faster metabolism and fat burner. First of all the mango flavored is amazing! Taste delicious! You do get a pump maybe like the first 30min but after you get a huge crash your head starts hurting you get so lazy less motivated really groggy and ugh it’s just a nasty feeling.
It’s a no for me! I’m still in the search for a good preworkout that wont itch or give you a nasty crash. Next product I’ll be trying is 1st phorm megawatt pre workout.

I am 49 and my go-to exercise routine for the past 30 years was running and going to the gym. Two years ago, I got burnt out on running and with the demands of family and work, it was difficult getting to the gym.
I first saw the Teeter LT3 on a shopping channel in Dec 2020. I was intrigued. I researched it by reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube, and decided to purchase the LT3 in Dec 2021. I am so glad I did.
My main concern was that it might not be as good of a workout since it seemed to be designed with people with joint issues or surgeries in mind, but that is not the case. Thanks to my Samsung exercise app, I compared my Teeter workouts with past workouts at the gym, including both the elliptical and the exercise bike.
I burn more calories using the Teeter than either or those for the same period of time. Customer service was excellent too. The Teeter LT3 was delivered with a week of ordering it (from Washington state to Tennessee), even during peak holiday ordering time and supply chain issues.
The seat was minimally damaged during shipping (a small crack in the cushioning), and I contacted customer service via email over the weekend after receiving it, and a new seat was shipped and received with 3 days.
I am glad I spent a little more to get the LT3 for the upgrades. I’ve not used the LT1, but the upgrades are worth it to me. It is a quality machine. Before purchasing the LT3, I did look at exercise bikes and ellipticals in local stores and they were not of the quality of the LT3.
I love the convenience of being able to work out in my home and watch what I want while I do it. The Teeter really is as silent as they say, and it is also a great investment because I know it will be equipment I can use for years to come even if I one day do develop joint issues or surgeries.
Who uses it? Both me, 80 year old male with bad knees and bad shoulders 94 year old mother-in-law with hip replacement. Packaging: Well organized but outer box could be heavier. No way to reuse it if you want to return it.
Tetter said they would send a new box if I wanted to ship it back. Items were well identified and labeled. Assembly: Forget about using the included tool, unless you want to make it a lifetime project.
I used an electric impact driver and a small offset Philips ratchet which made it easy. A hand ratchet with hex driver is minimum. All parts fit reasonably well and instructions were very good. About one hour assembly time.
(I saw one review that stated things didn’t fit well, but also said his box was damaged. Probable got dropped and bent a bit) Quality: Very good. I’m impressed with how sturdy this thing is. Well made.
Operation: Very smooth and consistent. No noise. Resistance setting is nonlinear, I. e. , increases faster the higher you go. The seat extends a bit too far under your legs and rubs a bit. The hand bar adjustments are a bit of a pain, but manageable.
the readout is okay, but you need to memorize the segments, as their labels are tiny. Use: 94 year old uses it 3 times a day. calls it her bicycle. loves it. Me; going slow so as not to irritate my shoulders.

I bought this DVD solely for the cardio part of it. I love the intensity of Jari Love’s weight workouts so I wanted to see if her cardio would be just as tough. She does not disappoint! The cardio workout is broken down into 3-minute intervals, and each interval has three levels of intensity.
Most are familiar moves, but you will be sweating in no time! For most of the intervals, Jari goes briefly back to level one intensity at the end so your heart rate comes down just a bit. But, for a few of them she does not.
For those few, I had to pause the DVD just to catch my breath. really my only gripe. If you do the complete workout, she mixes in a bit of weight training, but I did the cardio only option. I’m a firm believer in not mixing weight training and cardio at the same time plus her weight segments on this DVD are so short, they won’t make a big impact on you.
I was a little disappointed in the push-ups and abs section. It’s not that long and certainly not as intense as the similar sections in her Get Extremely Ripped DVD. I didn’t feel the burn like I do with that DVD.
I would highly recommend this DVD for the cardio aspect of it. If you are looking for an intense weight workout, try her Get Ripped:Slim & Lean DVD. I LOVE that workout! You will truly reshape your body using weights with that one.
If you want to work with weights and keep your heart rate up, try her Get Extremely Ripped DVD. You won’t be able to use as heavy a weight as with the Slim & Lean workout because you are constantly moving while lifting.
Plus, the push-up and abs sections on that DVD are some of the best I’ve seen because she works both the abs and the lower back. Most ab workouts ignore the lower back and just focus on crunches.
I love Jari Love’s workouts–I have three so far but I’m still building my collection. This workout combines low-weight/high-rep weight training with cardio. Each weight-training exercise is alternated with a cardio segment.
The DVD allows the user to choose between an hour workout, or 2 30-minute workouts. Also, you have the choice of doing only the cardio, or only the weight workouts. The user has the option of using a step, but you don’t need one to get a great workout.
The 30-minute workout is challenging enough. I need about a gallon of water when I do this workout, and I feel sore the next day. My very-fit husband started doing this workout recently and now thinks he’s not as fit as he once thought.
Awesome workout. I have a few of her DVDs already and I use this one when I have the energy to get through it! Jari is not like some of the other fitness instructors who are loud and overbearing. She is real mellow and encouraging!! I would seriously get rid of all the workout videos I have and just keep a collection of these.

1. 0 the left foot pedal keeps falling off. I tried to put it back on but keeps falling off. I would like a left foot pedal please. I cannot get a hold of Customer Service either. I would appreciate a response with respect to getting a new left foot pedal.
Bought a Snoozier Upright Bike which was delivered within 2 days. Assembly was simple. However, the bike had no resistance. This required me to disassemble the enclosure near the peddles (this part was assembled in factory).
Customer service was responsive while I did this and asked questions. After fiddling with screws etc it became obvious that the adjustable part was set too far from the wheel that it rests against to provide tension.
Aosom agreed to arrange for a Fedex pickup and a full refund so I am somewhat satisfied. The supplier though was deficient in its quality control which led to me wasting time and effort in trying to fix the problem they caused as well as disappointment that an otherwise sturdy and useful product did not work out.

A mat or rug and bare feet are highly recommended for the Pilates floorwork.
If you are able to do a lot of squats and balet moves – then try this one. My suggestion is to watch it first then do the workout. The instructor just assumes that you know the moves and the lingo used (still trying to figure out what angel arms are).
Make sure you have plenty of room to move around. The strange thing about the workout is there is a guy in the back ground that plays the bongos. I’m still trying to figure out how that is encouraging while you work out or why he was even there.
At least it gave me something to laugh about even though me trying to do the cardo moves was funny on its own.
I did not like this workout. I work out with Jillian Michaels videos, which are a lot more difficult. Pilates focuses on different areas than Jillian’s, which are traditional strength and cardio. This DVD was very repetitive and the music from the drummer, with frequent camera shots of him, was irritating.
Ellen was constantly shouting instructions for the next move and was less encouraging than Jillian. I’ll look for other Pilates videos, since I want that as part of my workout routine.

Love the treadmill but not the customer service. Have had the treadmill now for 2 months and have not been able to talk to anyone regarding issues with the unit. There is no phone number you can call and talk to someone.
You have to leave a message and receive a call back. Then when they call and you are not available they leave the a non working number. So frustrating. I have never seen anything like the difficulty we have had.
Would definitely look at purchasing a different treadmill if had to do it again just because we can not get follow up service which is much needed.
If your looking for a treadmill that works just look somewhere else. I had nothing but issues with these treadmill 5 months after the purchase. The belt start slipping even after I lubricated right on schedule per the instructions of the manual.
I was advise by Preston Bunnell to call the repair shop to get it diagnosed. The repair shop wanted me charge me $135 to come in and check it and another $90 to come back and replace any parts. Then I will have to wait for the part from LifeSpan to get it and get it replace.
Only after I complaint I was then advise that it was probably the belt and that they will send me a new one. I received a new belt, and instructions in how to change it. I changed the belt and it work perfectly.
Well at least for 2 months. After that the treadmill start slipping again and I was told that I had to get it diagnosed by a certified repair shop. Conveniently enough I couldn’t buy the extended warranty for service anymore from LifeSpan so either I payed to have it diagnosed or end up with a non working $1100 Treadmill that only worked for less than 6 months.
Now because of the current situation on Covid 19 and I wanted to see if I can get it working again but I guess I am out of luck since the warranty for the parts expired now. In retrospect I probably end up paying $50 every time I use the Treadmill for one hour.
While Lifespan already pocketed my $1100 and now it just sitting on my office taking up space. Only reason I haven’t put it on the trash can is because it doesn’t fit. Their product quality- 1 Star because it worked for 6 months Customer Services – 0 Starts because unless you complain they will not care you have a non working treadmill Parts Warranty – 2 Start since I did got a new belt which allowed me to use the treadmill 3 more times after it started slipping again.
Our purchase of the TR3000i has been a life changer. I am not a Gym person so I consulted with my husband and we made our purchase. Guess what? Its the best decision ever made. I can use the app to play my music choice while I run, walk or stroll, whatever I choose.

Nice bike except seat , easy to assemle came about 75% assembled hardest part getting bike out of box and parts out of the shrink wrap. The box had two pieces of thin plywood top and bottom to help keep box intact , bike is not very loud when riding it , the bike comes with very small screen shows time , kilometers , kilocalories , speed, small screen.
The seat is to me and my family extemely uncomfortable we had tried a standad bed pillow folded in half helps little bit ,i have order a replacement seat to resovle this issue. Oherwise would have given bike five stars i have no issues with bike wobbling when peddling fast or when moutning /dismounting bike.

THE CONVERTER The converter itself is a small device the size of a Polar H7 heart rate monitor. It attaches to the backside of the media holder and runs on a coin cell battery. The battery lasts approximately 3 months.
HOW IT WORKS The converter turns on when it detects any motion on the bike. It will start scanning for bikes and pair with the first bike it finds. So when you insert the batteries for the first time, make sure you’re ready to ride.
Once paired, it will maintain the connection to that bike until you’re done exercising and the bike’s computer shuts off. To start the device again, double tap the device. It will automatically search and connect to the bike it was first paired with.

I had never heard of Keiser before starting my research for an elliptical. Compact, quiet, easy to move, no need to plug into an outlet, solid and beautiful design, incredible workout for all levels.
And unlike when I was looking at the mainstream elliptical brands, the salesperson wasn’t telling me to be sure to buy the extended warranty because I would need to use it and repairs/service would not be cheap.

We love our Keiser M5 strider! It is a great full body cardio workout yet easy on the back and knees. We knew that we liked the Keiser strider from our experience at Orange Theory Fitness. It is so compact in comparison to elliptical, rower, or treadmill machines, and it is excellent for adults and teens with minimal adjustment.
We got it, because unlike a spin bike, it is easy to hop on and hop off for a quick or intense workout without having to readjust for each user user in our household. It was delivered pretty quickly, and the customer service is responsive, as well as technical support while my husband and helper put it together.
The only point to really emphasize is that you have to make sure you have all the right tools and follow the instruction manual to the letter verifying the step before moving on. It is easy to miss the tension line holder for the red gear control.
Have had my M5i now for 3 weeks, felt was ok to give a review now. Pros – compact, not outlet needed (mobile), hardly any noise; its a workout. It’s home is in my bedroom, but I have rolled it out to the living room and watched Five Nations Rugby to squeeze in a work out.
The only sound it makes I think is the magnet and belt (I hope)which is hardly noticeable; and the space taken up is not much more than my recliner. Since there is no need to plug into an outlet, I have rolled it outside a couple of times on nice mornings to my back patio.
It will work you. As stated the stance is not the same as an everyday elliptical, I felt things all over my body within the first 15 mins (legs, core, back and arms). I did not realize how hard that magnet would make me work! Cons, well one is shipping cost.
However it does come assembled (note, right here in the USA!)and people have commented it looks like a piece of art vs. workout equipment. So its a tradeoff I guess. Some might say price, but again assembled in USA.
And this thing is solid, I mean great materials and assembly. If looking for a great piece of home equipment, and want to even move it from place to place without having to think about a power outlet or limiting where you workout, you need this! Now I am saving up my pennies for a bike, but hope by that time they have the same option as shipping assembled.
