The regular width shoe should be wide enough for the wide foot. My dad has a very wide foot and always wears a 9. 5 wide, but the 9. 5 wide was huge on him. The regular 9. 5 fit him perfect. I’d say try the regular width in the shoe.

I have worn these for 1 week and there have been two major issues: 1. One of the shoes squeaks with every step. I found this out while wearing them at work, preventing any returns. 2. The soles of the shoes feel like they are about to give out from being so thin under the pads of my feet.

I can’t imagine they will last another 2 weeks super disappointed.

These shoes are pretty comfy. I normally wear an 11.5 Wide, which is what I ordered. I’d say these fit a little closer to most 12 regular that I’m used to. Overall, pretty happy with them.

Received sharp perfect navy blue color anyone out there understand how hard to find not light blue and not so dark they are black. Perfect beautiful shoes for my daughter’s wedding and I purchased the perfect matching belt but unfortunately, the warehouse dropped the ball.

I was very dissapointed to find out that the shoe wuality was not apar with the reputation Stacy Adams shoes carry. After just the second time wearing the shoes, one of the buckles came off the shoe and can’t be put back.

I was very upset since they are very good looking shoes. Im might start looking at other brands for my next shoes.

Shoe is really nice BUT I recieved it as used, worn, tried on and scuff marks on them. This must have been returned or last shoe off display. Scuff marks I’m sure I could’ve had polished buffed but behind both heels was scratches lifting up leather.

Ordered online and once i received and tried them on. I packed them up and returned them to store. They couldn’t re order due to this was the last pair.

Please save yourself some money! It only took 4 days for them to break. The shoes get scratch marks real easily and the bottom tongue of the shoe is already falling apart. The shoes were stored in room temperature closet so I have no idea why these shoes broke down so early.

There are cheaper shoes in the market that last longer! It is my first time buying this brand and will be my last.

I am really glad I found these Anthony Veer shoes! I just recently started upgrading my shoes. Within the past 3 months, I purchased my first two pair of Allen Edmonds. AEs are expensive shoes (even on sale), so my initial plan was to save them for when I wear suits.

I normally wear dress dress slacks and button up shirts to work most days, and I will wear suits on days with an important meeting or for special social events. But then I started to realize that if I save the Allen Edmonds for suits only, they will rarely get worn.

Seemed like a waste of money, so I decided to make the AEs my daily shoes (so I can enjoy them) and get something else to save for suits. That’s how I came across these Anthony Veer cap toes. I had never heard of this brand before, but the style of this shoe is exactly what I wanted.

A classic cap-toe in black will work for even the most formal occasion. The price was very attractive, and the specs seem to indicate all the right quality features. Plus with amazon’s great free returns policy, I figured there was no risk in placing an order to see them in person.

What you receive is pretty impressive. Inside of the oddly colored shoe box is the shoes (each in a cloth shoe bag), an extra set of insoles, a NICE brass shoe horn, and an extra set of laces. Nicely done.

It gives you the instant impression of quality. The shoes themselves seem really nice. Had I gone from my previous $60 Dockers dress shoes to these, I’d think they were amazing. But after recently getting Allen Edmonds, I could see that the quality of the leather just isn’t quite as nice.

It’s not bad at all, and these will serve me well as my “suit shoes”, but you can just see that the grain is not as smooth and perfect. But believe me, you need to look very closely to even notice that.

It’s probably not fair to compare them to shoes that cost more than twice the price. The fit (at first) seemed too loose. I wear a 9. 5 D in most other shoes, and that’s what I ordered these in as well.

When I first put them on and tied them, they seemed really loose. But they had come pre-laced in an odd way. It was cross-bar (which I like for dress shoes), but it was done weird and it made it hard to sinch them closed properly.

I relaced them and the fit is now great. Overall, I am super impressed with these shoes. Especially when they come so darned close to the quality of shoes costing MUCH more.

Love them. They are extremely well made. They smell like leather and quality. They just don’t make shoes like this anymore unless you are willing to pay hundreds and hundreds. The price is more than worth it.

I’m a 10. 5-11 in nearly every shoe. I got 10. 5 and they fit perfectly. They are built solidly, so mine required a little break in, but nothing extraordinary. This is the type of shoe you own for a lifetime and get re-soled.

I bought this shoe for a formal black tie event. Upon opening the box you will immediately notice the smell of fine leather and the care in the packaging of the product. Very little break in period as the leather was soft yet durable.

The look is classic and elegant but the fit is exquisite. Unfortunately not many of the other styles or colors are available in the wide width but when they are i will definitely ad additional pairs to my collection.

If you are looking at these shoes and asking yourself if it’s worth it, let me be the one to say take the risk. I’ve ordered 3 different pair of shoes from this site and you cannot find better quality shoes for this price ANYWHERE.

Very nice looking shoes. Interesting styling while remaining fairly understated. Seems to be good quality material and cobbling. Take this with a grain of salt as I have not yet worn them. I did try them on and they fit well.

These shoes’ design is such that they narrow toward the toe in fashion reminiscent of a cowboy boot. I ordered a 1/2 size up and that seems perfect.

I’ve been intrigued by these shoes for some time, but couldn’t get past the sneaker-like soles. Finally pulled the trigger, and man am I impressed. I can wear these all day without having to sit down.

They are incredibly lightweight and flexible. The leather upper is soft, and the laser cuts allow for not just the nice wingtip appearance, but also ventilation and pliability. It goes without saying that the cushioning is excellent.

I did not find these shoes to be narrow at all, but the overall shape of the shoe is straighter than a traditional dress shoe, and this might affect the instep for some, if not for the softness of the leather.

I will be buying more Zerogrand shoes.

I bought these shoes about a month ago and wanted to wear them a while before reviewing them. I’m on my feet all day at work, so I really wanted shoes that were comfortable for long periods. I had almost settled on a different shoe and these Cole Haan oxfords were about twice the price, but decided to give them a try.

The moment I slipped my feet into them the difference was obvious. The leather is so soft and the comfort for my feet was immediately far above the other pair I was considering. Even though they were more than I had planned on spending, I considered it an investment in future comfort and happiness.

I’ve been wearing them 8+ hours a day, five days a week for the past month and I’m very happy with my decision to get these shoes.

I am hoping there is a break-in period for these shoes. I had to purchase insoles just to raise my ankles enough to stop them from getting shredded by the stiff leather. The shoe is also very stiff at the transition between the toe cap and vamp and it’s uncomfortable to walk.

The shoe looks great but I’ve had to sacrifice comfort to wear them. I’ll give them a few more weeks to break in before I throw in the towel.

I literally can not walk more than 7 steps without my feet hurting. I got a size 10 that i wear size 10 in every brand every style of shoe and these ones are big so feet have room to rub and they have hard creases that hurt.

I could not walk at work without my fretting being in pain. Worn once and probably not again. Back to my Cole hahns and wolf and Sheppards. Those are the comfiest shoes on the market.

Shoes look nice but are not that comfortable. Pretty flat sole had my feet pretty tired at the end of the day. Shipping was less than ideal. After 10+ days the box showed up to our door destroyed. Shoe horn was broken, one of the shoe covers was wet.

Ordered and was told my order sent only received 3 of 5 pairs of shoes. Numerous times told Perry Ellis to call to help me with issue and call me, they only email with automated system. My wedding is now ruined because they can not send me the correct sizes as I ordered a month ago and now warehouse keeps canceling orders when website shows in stock.

Support team is no help. Horrible Company and Horrible Customer Service. Store Associate though was helpful but they do not carry the same stock as online as he tried way harder to help then the online customer support.

Also trying to get refunded is a nightmare, Very Sad thought a company this rep-able would be wiling to help me especially for the biggest day of my life and also when error is on there end.

Brought these shoes for my son he loved them. He said they are very comfortable. color is nice.

My sons a senior in high school and since he would be needing a nice pair of shoes I got these. (Thankfully he’s not picky). He opened the box and really liked them. They did fit a little big so now I have to get him some thick socks but he still loves them.

I bought these for a wedding in July and they were wonderful. I decided to make them my everyday work shoes as they were so comfortable. By November after wearing them four days a week every week they started falling apart.

The outside of the right shoe had begun to separate from the sole for about three inches along the seam. I then noticed the same thing on the outside of the left heel but in a much smaller area, say about an inch long.

I do not think I would buy these again for daily wear. If you are going to wear them once a week for a night out then they would be great and will probably last you a couple years. For daily wear I would look someplace else unless you don’t mind buying new shoes every 4 to 6 months.

I loved the low key look of these shoes, black soles and light weight. They are a mix of leather and man made materials (isn’t everything anymore?). The sales clerk assured me I needed these in wide although I always wear medium or narrow.

She wasn’t accurate in that statement and I was a fool to follow her guidance, and wore them to work 1 day which makes them un returnable. My wife believes I should give them a chance to “break in”, so I’m hopeful but skeptical.

Our son will turn 25 next week and the only gift he asked us for was a new pair of Allen Edmond’s Carlyle Plain Toe Oxfords. Our son works with disabled children and adults at a nonprofit and while he spends much time in his office with HR responsibilities, he also interacts daily, sometimes hourly, with the clients.

These shoes are perfect because they allow him to be comfortable and secure while providing the appropriately classic style he needs both during his long work day and into the evening hours as well. When our son got his first job, he decided to invest in classic clothing rather than the here-today-gone-tomorrow “bargain” styles that some stores carry for his generation.

He put aside money for this purpose and one of his first purchases, a few years back, were these Allen Edmonds shoes. No surprise then that he is asking for them again (different color) for his birthday.

I purchased AE Carlyle directly from AE. The first pair had defective leather top, the same happened also for the replacement pair. Although the 2nd replacement (3rd pair) still had leather defects, I selected to keep it as the defects not so visible and I was tired of the repeated procedure of taking the shoes back to the store and waiting to pick up the replacement after several weeks.

As my 6-7 years old AE shoes are still in great shape, I have not put this new pair to use for several months. Last weekend I attended a party wearing my new pair of Carlyle. After walking in New York City for less than an hour (mainly across the central park twice), I found the tip of the sole had been worn down for about 10%.

Then I checked my 6-7 year old pair of AE shoes and the whole sole has not been worn down by 2% in any place. Ironically I tried to post this review at AE website on the webpage for this particular shoes.

However AE selected to ignore my review and did not post it. They just don’t like bad reviews of their products. Allen Edmonds was sold in 2006, then sold again in 2013. No wonder its quality has been in steady decline.

This shoe is grossly over priced and cheap looking. The look and feel of the shoe is very disappointing and reminds me of Bostonian. It is made of low quality leather and is just plain unremarkable. Never pay over a 125 bucks for a shoe with a rubber sole.

If a shoe has an all leather sole and is still extremely comfortable than it is well made. Any piece of junk with a rubber sole can be comfortable so don’t pay up. I have been hunting for a pair of black lace up oxfords for the last six months and it looks like I am going to have to look outside of Nordstrom because the selection just isn’t there.

Allen Edmonds needs to step up there game and Nordstrom has to expand there selection. There are plenty of high quality oxfords out there that fall between the prices of Dolce & Gabanna and Allen Edmonds that put both designers to shame.

These patent tuxedo shoes are affordable! They are dressy enough for black tie affairs and weddings and work with a suit also. They are all black, including the heel which is challenging to find. They are simple in design if you don’t like wing tip or toe cap styles.

They are easy to clean, true to size, and comfortable. These are a great option for big boys who might only wear a few times, well worth it.

They’re not so easy to put on. They’re also a challenge to remove. So once you squeeze your feet into these things, be prepared to spend some time in them. Luckily, they look kinda alright. But comfort is not what they are designed for.

It’s mostly similar to a woman’s shoe = looks sexy, but causes permanent damage to the physical structure of the foot.

I bought these online as a birthday gift to myself. I needed some new dress shoes and these were a style that fit what I was looking for. DSW always has great selection and these did not disappoint. Very clean.

My late father wore Florsheim shoes. He kept several pairs polished and wore them all of this life. So did I for the longest time. But somewhere along the road of life. I slipped away. Why?? I can’t remember.

I just ordered a pair recently. They were slightly narrow. So I sent them back, for a no questions asked. Fast and free return. Florsheim exchanged them for the same size but with a little more width.

WOW! They fit perfectly and feel great! They look outstanding and are well made. Now I remember why my dad loved them so. Unlike most brand names of products that have sold out through the years and lowered their quality.

Apparently. Florsheim is not one of them. The design, workmanship, comfort and attention to detail is still there after all these years. No. I’m not affiliated with the Florsheim Co in anyway. It’s just that.

My First pair of Scholls. I wear size 15 in most shoes and initially got size 15. They were approx. a half inch or so too big and felt akward. Got the size 14 D sent and the matched right up. Sadly my right foot is just a a little bigger than the left so the 14 in my right foot seemed to fit a little more snug and Im extremely flat footed.

Now after wearing for 2 weeks the right shoe is broken in and the shies are the business. I like that they are not bright white in the soles but still give a nodern look. Im 6’2″ approx 280 lbs and they dont make much attractive clothes for guys my size.

These shoes allow me to dress up and casual down a bit. The material is very soft and has a good feel, will have to see how long it holds up. I cant remember if there symthetic leather or not. I assume anyone reading can go look it up.

Id say I’ve recieved some positive input on how they look and feel on my big feet. I am enjoying them and bought the Black and Brown at $49 for a great price. Good money spent in 2021.

Wide width hubby really likes these. Perfect for that “in between” when skechers are too casual and work dress shoes are too formal/stiff. Have the brown, getting the black. I was not crazy about the cream laces when he had them on with blue pants, so bought an $8 pair of perfect match brown laces on amazon.

Nice shoe true to size, the buckle is hard to close holes need in the short straps need to be opened more. Otherwise the shoe is very comfortable.

I bought these shoes 8 months ago. I’m in them 50-70 hours per week, and they are still going. I’ve never had a pair of shoes last this long. They were incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on.

I purchased these Freeman’s about a year and have worn these on and off in conjunction with my 7yr old Rockports to my office job. I work downtown so I may walk up to a mile in them a day. In the last year these have worn down so much and now look worse than the Rockports do! The stiching between the heel and the sides is undone and I can literally stick my finger through the hole.

Will pay the $50 extra dollars next time to purchase a shoe that will last.

Very nice and well-made shoes, but they run 1-2 sizes large. I’d never tried Hawes & Curtis shoes before, so be mindful of sizing when ordering. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I didn’t have enough time to exchange, as my wedding event is in less than 2 weeks.
