10 Best Football For The Beach (2023 Updated)

I ordered this as a gift for my son’s 11th birthday. Unfortunately, the first one we got had a faulty valve. It wouldn’t stay inflated, and you could actually hear the air hissing out through the valve.

Target sent a replacement amazingly fast, and the second one was perfect, without any problems! My son loves it. Perfect size for his age, too.

Good for my 5 and 9 yr old boys, was slightly over inflated but used the included pump needle to release a little air. They enjoy the included tee to practice kicking as well.

I purchased this football for a student as a Christmas gift. My student loved the football and it comes with a stand and air pump with the needle included!!! What a super gift! Way more than I could have hoped for.

This was added to the ‘Steeler Shrine’/room at Christmas and it is beautiful! So well made and the embroidery is very well done. A great addition to any collection. Thanks Ben~!

I bought the football for my brother for his birthday. He is a big patriots fan and when he opened it, he loved it! His face lit up and was extremely proud to have it. In addition, the package arrived before the date it was said to deliver.

This, even to me…who is not a football fan, is Impressive. This would make football fan super happy. It does come in a cardboard “display type” box, with open sides.

This football I’d had delivered to me. When it arrived it was somewhat flat. I pumped it up the next day it was somewhat flat I pumped it up the next day it was someone flat. I was able to bring it to a store get my refund and when I went to purchase another one at that store they were all filled up and at the correct level of air so I purchased another one.

Got a football for my birthday in 1989. Went to air it up and was super sad it wouldnt take any air. I watched a video how to do it and I carefully followed the video and it came out perfect. Fixed my first real football I got when I was 10 and now can throw it around with my kid.

I bought this ball because our high school team uses the leather version. This ball is probably the best ball on the market for its price. The composite leather is very grippy and easy to catch, and the ball itself looks very sharp with the orangey leather and gold writing.

I must note that the stripes are not painted on like its shown in the picture. Instead they are sewn on with black stitching, which i prefer. When i first took it out of the box and practiced throwing it because im a quarterback, i was a little mystified that i could not throw a good spiral with it but could throw perfect spirals with my other old ones.

but all it needs is some breaking in by throwing it and playing catch with someone else and pretty soon it throws perfect spirals for itself.

I bought this as an addition so my son can get used to leather. This ball has a great tactile feel. Unfortunatrly, the stitching on the white rubber grip was not lined up correctly and half of one side was missing the stitching altogether! Bad QA.

Ordered this online and what was in the box was not what was pictured. It’s a GST Composite TDY, but it has a giant Dick Sporting Goods logo on a third panel. This minimizes grippable surface area and is definitely not game worthy.

As the owner of past WC balls, all official OMB, this one is just as great. The feel of the ball coming off your foot feels comfortable, natural. It’s soft to the touch, but yet firm. It glides straight and true when kicked properly.

My only “complaint” was the shiny sheen when first taken out of the box. It felt slippery & looked wet. After playing on it on a turf field, it started to darken, which is normal bc of the turf pellets, and the sheen was gone.

Looks great, although I don’t care for the colors to much.

My team collect all the most expensive balls and we play at a competitive level. At first I was not impressed when I looked at the ball closely with its pointed panels. Then I started to try making long passes on the fields.

It takes less effort to swing it far than the Nike Flight ball, which seems to be harder to kick. It also flies faster so it is a bit harder to control it in the air. Overall, it is a fantastic ball.

I purchased this for my son. He typically uses the high-end Nike balls for both high school and club. He says he likes this ball but his only complaint is that it’s “a hard ball” compared to the Nike ball.

Having said that, he uses it quite a lot.

I have purchased 5 Leather GSTs over the past 2 years. I had a deflating issue with our 1st ball. Since then, I added a few drops of glycerin to the inflation needle prior to pumping to the new footballs.

This helped the inflation needle glide into the stem, preventing punctures, cracks and stretching. All of which will lead to air leaks. No more deflating issues since using glycerin. But, I am truly disappointed with the quality and detail of these footballs.

Especially the smaller balls (pee wee and junior). The noses on these footballs are hideous! Some have bigger underbites than a British Bulldog! The sewn-in stripes aren’t flushed at the seams because the leather panels are so badly misaligned during construction.

It is troubling to think that these leather GSTs are made in the United States, and even more troubling to think that whomever is inspecting these doesn’t see a problem with defected or irregular footballs prior to leaving their facility.

Leaders at Wilson, managers, quality control personnel, factory workers. you have to do better.

I bought this about a month ago, and it came in a couple of days. Upon receiving the balls, I inspected it, and there were many errors. The leather tips of the ball were messed up and completely out of line.

One seam was a whole inch off from the point. I contacted them, and they said that the ball met their requirements and that all their balls are ‘checked’ before being sent out. Instead of sending me a new one, they are now making me return the defective ball and wait to order another.

These balls used to be made so much better I think nowadays they just send out the defective ones.

My boyfriend is a star football player. He uses the Cowboys Football to practice with his friends in the yard and sometimes at the stadium. Every now and then he will throw me a few balls. This particular ball has a great grip which makes it easier for me to catch.

I would definitely recommend trying NFL Dallas Cowboys Football. It’s the perfect ball to use your buddies and also the girls in your life.

I purchased this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. On Christmas day after he opened it, it was half pumped with air so I got my needle and pump to pump it up and the hole was not lined up with the cover and there was no way to pump it up so we returned it.

I did not notice it when exchanging it until we got home but second ball was exactly the same way. No way to get a needle in it to add air so I returned this one. On the third try the hole was lined up because I checked it before leaving the store but the ball needed air and when I got home and tried to insert the needle it popped the hole out from alignment and it ended up being just like the other two so I am now on my third ball with the exact same problem.

I know these are not real footballs and they only cost $10 but they are total pieces of junk and obviously poorly manufactured. I’m sure overseas like everything else. The people at Dicks were very nice and let me exchange it for a little bit better ball that was actually higher priced and did not charge me the difference.

Feel like everytime we go to Dick’s in our area we only find Texas or Texas A&M collegiate gear. Really excited to find a Texas Tech youth ball for a close friend of the family’s son. All he wanted was his own Tech Football.

Loved I didn’t have to order online and was able to find at the Dick’s by my house.

My kids are having fun with this in the house, since the weather hasn’t been very nice since we got it. They are excited that it is official size and they can see what the pros use. They couldn’t believe how big it was.

They can’t wait to get outside with it! my son plays on a school team in the Fall, but since its not in season they’ve only used this for playing so far. they said this football is more durable then other brands.

This is an awesome football. The colors are very eye catching and it is a steal at the price. I was given this ball in exchange for a review but I would have gladly purchased it as well. We have a bit of a cliff in our backyard and we have previously lost so many footballs since they blend in with the surrounding leaves.

The red color in this ball really helped the ball stand out so we could find it quickly. It also has a great grip and is great for adults.

Our ESPN Football is great. It is full size and but has a great grip to get ahold of the ball easily. My son loves how it looks with the red writing and that it isn’t just plain football. Our neighbors kids love it also and always are asking where we got it.

This product was advertised as a J5V Advance ball which is a very good soft leather ball making it specifically good for kicking. Instead I received a J5V Gold ball. Not only was it not the right product but it also appears worn/used and has a very bad leak making it grossly deflated in less than 5 minutes after fully inflating it.

Therefore, its not a useable football for anything.

Wanted some good quality and real leather kicking balls for my son to practice punting and field goals. You typically have to pay $100 per ball for genuine leather (maybe $70-80 on sale). These were a steal at less than $30 (we started with two).

Theyve held up well and were planning on buying more.

I ordered three Spalding Pop Warner footballs for my football team. We were given a Spalding Pop Warner Composite football from Pop Warner. I purchased three of these footballs from Walmart for practice.

Not to mention that one of the footballs would not stay inflated, all three balls were significantly different from the Spalding Pop Warner ball that was given to us from the league. The Walmart Spalding Pop Warner balls felt different and had writing that was somewhat blurry as compared to the league ball.

These balls were purchased cheaper than most other stores advertised. Since they were purchased for practice balls, no harm, no foul. I just feel that they were obviously cheaper quality than realized!.
