20 Best Food Processor With Spiralizer (2023 Updated)

Overall I really like this processor. But since it’s my first one, I had ideas of something a bit more handy. This is really good for chopping with the main blad. gets everything at a pretty consistent grade.

The only issue would be the speed. It has 2 speed levels and a pulse. The pulse is the equivalent speed of setting 1 [very fast], and speed 2 is almost twice as fast. As I said, it’s great for chopping with the main blade.

but using the shredder / slicer, it gets a bit more tricky and the consistency isn’t there. Example: Shredding a Block of Cheddar. It spins so fast that the first bit of shredded cheese is the consistency of grated parmesan before it catches and knocks it out the way you’d like.

Same with the slicer. You get inconsistent slices at the beginning and end because of the speed. If you’re not worried about a bit of waste when you want to entertain company with a good presentation.

this is the perfect machine. I’ve already used it a million times in the last few weeks. Salsas, Cheeses, Chopped mixed nuts, Dips, Cabbage, Riced Cauliflower. etc. The price was within my budget and I’m very happy I made this purchase.

Received my Hamilton Beach Food Processor and so excited! Have washed the parts, read the instructions and found it to be very easy to assemble. Nice kitchen appliance to have – well made, and cant wait to start my chopping, shredding, and slicing.

For the money spent, this is an excellent food processor. Simple operation, chops and grates like crazy and so easy to use. Can’t believe how fast this little thing spins. Well balanced and designed.

Have had a few other processors far more expensive, with many attachments and options that I never used, that didn’t operate as nicely as this one. An excellent food processor overall!.

I’ve had a Cuisinart food processor for many years and it was still working. I saw an ad about the new machine that had a dicing feature plus a small bowl so I decided it was time for an upgrade. So far I’ve been very pleased.

The new machine is lighter but stronger and the speed buttons are great (the old machine was just off or on). I like the disc storage box since it keeps the sharp pieces -and me- safer. I haven’t tried all the features yet but the instruction book is very clear on assembly and operation.

Cuisinart never fails to provide great machines that preform perfectly and when I’m in the market for something I always look at Cuisinart first. I have the dual coffee maker, blender, air fryer, etc.

l love love love my Cuisinart Elemental food processor. I bought it a few years ago and immediately thought that maybe I had made a mistakes in purchasing such a powerful processor. It’s also a bit large and has a lot of accessories so the entire set takes up quite a bit of space.

I used it once to prep some food for a huge party then didn’t use it again for over a year. I thought about selling it, but then I decided to just put it to use. Once I really got the hang of it, it was game over.

I use it so much now. I shred whole blocks of cheese, makes purees, make nut spreads, make salsas, slice veggies, spiralize zucchini; the possibilities are endless. All the parts (minus the processor itself, of course) are dishwasher safe so cleaning it super easy.

I definitely recommend this product if you’re an avid cook.

It is fast, but there seems to be a limit to what the two blade options can do. The main plastic “bowl” broke within the first six months. My biggest complaint about it is that it takes forever to clean.

There are so many nooks and crannies that get filled with food. By the time i get it set up, clean up, and put away, Ive saved no time. I dont have time to go over it with a toothpick and tiny brush after every use.

I only use it if absolutely necesssry. It is not convenient to use. Also, if you arent using a large enough volume of food, i find results are inconsistent.

Have only used it three times as of yet, so this will be more of a first impression commentary. It is my first processor (have had a few blenders) and after some research I thought I’d give this a try.

Only two of us usually, so the size was important. Didn’t need the 16 cup behemoths, nor the minis. This size is just right. After reading the instructions and figuring out how the cup and lid works, it is easy to use.

The blade and two discs are easy to fit and are of a good gauge. The base has a good heft and does not dance around on the counter when in use. The motor is definitely strong. The overall build feels sturdy and I feel I can expect a long relationship.

One caution tho–if you hand wash your dishes, as I do, be careful washing the blade unit as they are REALLY sharp!.

I bought this food processor because it included a disc for medium slice and shred as well as a disc for fine slice/shred. Most lower end food processors seem to only come with the fine disc. I didn’t want to pay for a higher-end food processor to get the medium slice/shred because I would be paying for other features that I would never use.

I think my old processor, which is a basic version from Walmart, chops and purees a little better than the Cuisinart so I kept it for those tasks. I am happy with how easily the Cuisinart snaps together and comes apart.

The slicing and shredding met my expectations.

Not for chopping apples, I must say. I pulsed, then ran it for a bit, then pulsed, then ran, etc. Several wedges of the apple never chopped. The apple had been first peeled, then cored and cut into 8 wedges via an apple corer/slicer.

By the time I got most of the apple chopped, it had become applesauce, and became useless for my recipe in that state. There were even still some larger pieces that never chopped. Luckily, I had another whole apple.

I manually chopped the apple, added it to the “applesauce”, and had to create a slurry with cornstarch and water in order to be able to use this mixture for my mini apple pies. A lot of extra work, with a machine I thought was going to cut my work in half.

I used the machine again, the other day, to make smoothies. It worked pretty good for that. Maybe I should have just bought a blender. I’ll try it another day to see if it chops veggies for a chopped salad.

Kinda scared of what might happen. Not too keen on drinking my salad.

I bought this processor with the intention of making pasteles. I’ve made a batch of 100 so far and the Machine worked great!! You just need to cut the root vegetables into smaller pieces so they can fit in the shoot of the machine.

It cleaned easy and functioned well. The priced paid for this machine was awesome! I’m waiting to make the next batch hope it works just as good for you!!.

This was much easier to put together than I thought. The box it came in made it look over whelming, but it was very simple after all. It would have been nice to have had some recipes provided because I really don’t know what to do with the pretty veggies after I cut them up 🙂 I realise there are recipes online, but unless you know what you need to look for, I have not found many.

The machine however is very sturdy, but I am disappointed with the lack of real instructions in two large booklets that were really just very short details in many, many languages. I had the machine fall out today because although I thought it was inserted fully, it obviously was not.

The instruction manual could certainly have more info in my opinion, and some ideas of things to make. I am having a bit of buyer’s remorse in that regard, as in what do I make with this amazing machine?.

I bought the spiralizer attachment about 2 weeks ago, and it has already been a game-changer! I make homemade sweet potato chews for my dog. Peeling and slicing sweet potatoes always leaves my hands hurting at the end of the process.

This attachment takes all of the pain and headache away! It was supposed to be a Christmas present for me, but I just had to try it, and now I’m keeping it and will choose something else to be my Christmas present.

This needs to be an 8 blade attachment, as the apple corer/slicer blade has a tiny corer that almost always leaves seeds in the “finished” “cored” product. Please have your product manager test this product on apples larger than the tiny little ones found in elementary school lunch rooms.

It is invariably faster and less wasteful for me to peel apples by hand. That raises the question, “Why do I even have this attachment?” Thank you.

To say I love my Nutribullet Food Processor is an understatement. We cook so much that this product has come in handy when it comes to my hands. Chopping onions, cutting cucumbers and shredding lettuce hasn’t been this easy in like EVER.

My wrists surly thank you. The food processor comes with an extra disc for other thick or thin cutting and it’s super easy to switch out. Personally, my favorite use is for cutting onions and the best part is I don’t have to shed a tear while doing it.

Cleaning is super easy and comes apart with ease. I’m just learning how to make a few of my favorites and I have so many more to go. Please note when switching out blades make sure you line up the markings on the disc with the markings on the base adaptor.

If you have any confusion refer to your user manual. It a must have in any kitchen if you love to cook and want an extra hand with chopping, and mixing. Its the best multi use product I own. I recommend it and promise you one thing you won’t be disappointed.

Holy cow ! I love this NutriBullet – nutribullet® Food Processor ! The instructions for use are easy to read and understand and the pieces are well marked so you get the slice size you are looking for.

I love that you can just flip the disc to change the cut you need. The discs were easy to put in and getting it on the base to do my magic was a cinch. (I love it when it’s not too complicated. ) My first attempt had its bumps till I figured out that I hadn’t turned the work bowl all the way to the catch.

All the lights lit when I pushed for slow speed. The trusty User Manual came to my rescue to show me to give the work bowl another push till it clicked into place. Once I had it right, WOW I was on a roll.

I started with a potato for my first experience using the NutriBullet – nutribullet® Food Processor. I started with making home fries for breakfast and I felt like a genius when I had the best shredded potato.

Let me start by saying I love the thoughtful design. The bottom of the NutriBullet food processor has suction cups to keep it from moving during use, and there is a cutout for the cord. Another cool feature is the dual size food pusher.

There is a large, standard opening, then a smaller one in the pusher for thinner items like carrots. On top of that, the smaller pusher has a removable cap where you can add liquid, which will slowly run into the bowl.

This is ideal if you are adding oil for homemade mayo or dressings, or water when making pie crust. There are 2 blades (chopping and dough) and 3 slicing/shredding discs including one for spiral veggie noodles.

To adjust the discs from slicing to shredding, simply flip them over. The bowl holds 7 cups and everything is dishwasher safe. Making pie crust was a breeze. I tried to make zoodles but they didn’t turn out very pretty.

I think it would be helpful if there were some tutorial videos online for the NutriBullet that explained how to use the spiral attachment. It did include a recipe book and instruction manual but I am a more visual learner.

I have wanted a food processor to chop cabbage, make breadcrumbs, shred brick cheese for fondues and whip butter, but it does so much. You can make pesto, hummus, nut butters and salsa. And since the bowl is big, it is much easier to get every bit of food compared to when I used a blender.

The slicing blade lets you slice apples or potatoes to the same thickness so quickly and you don’t have to worry about cutting your fingers. I’m so glad I added this to my kitchen appliance collection.

I’m almost 68 years of age, married, our 39 year old permanently disabled son who lives here and his 16 year old niece (our granddaughter) who we’ve been raising most of her life. This food processor was delivered here a few days ago and I’m so excited! I gave my big, awkward, heavy, expensive, brand name food processor that is said to be “one of the best on the market” to my oldest daughter in April 2021 because I wasn’t using it very much anymore, it was hard to clean and was always in the way.

This Ninja Professional XL food processor is much smaller and lighter but with the 4 suction cup feet, it never shakes, rattles, and rolls no matter what I make in it and it is incredibly easy to clean! The 3 part pusher is sensational! Precision every time when chopping, making dough, purée ingredients for sauces, slicing and grating! I thought the claim that this food processor makes up to 3 pounds of pizza dough in about 30 seconds was an exaggeration until I tried it out! Omg, it really does and it’s a more perfect dough than when made by hand! I made the most perfect Apple Crisp in here that quickly got devoured, and delicious Creamy Coleslaw that was also quickly devoured, and I mixed up bread dough in this food processor then baked it in the Ninja Possible Pot that just got delivered here yesterday! The bread didn’t have a chance to get cool! The texture of the bread and crispy crust were perfect! This food processor does everything so fast, it has my stand mixer beat big time! I am going to use this food processor as often as possible.

Even my 73 year old husband who I have lovingly nicknamed “Mr. Cranky” is impressed by this food processor! (If he isn’t complaining about something or someone he isn’t happy anymore since his stroke in 2021.

) The S blade in this food processor is actually a quad (4 sharp blades instead of the usual 2 with rounded tips instead of sharp tips like in the Ninja chopper that I also own makes a huge difference when chopping or purées for sauces.

I made homemade Authentic Italian pasta sauce in this food processor this morning with canned whole tomatoes while it was still dark outside and the humidity is still low. It turned out perfectly as everything does! Thank you so much Ninja for another fantastic dream come true appliance!.

This food processor is powerful and comes with a generously sized bowl. It also comes with a smaller 4. 5 cup bowl that sits inside the larger one if you need a smaller capacity. The locking mechanism for the bowls and lid are easy to maneuver and there are arrows that show you where to line them up.

I’ve loved using this machine for preparing ingredients for large weekly meals. It saves so much time and the chute is large enough that you don’t have to spend as much time pre-cutting ingredients to fit.

I also like that the middle shaft of the bowl is closed up. This prevents food from leaking out of the base by way of getting up the interior of the blade and out through an open middle shaft. This processor does great with shredding and chopping vegetables and other hardy ingredients.

I did notice that foods with “gummier” consistencies had a tendency to get underneath the blade and inside the blade’s shaft. I experienced that while making cookie dough and meatballs, which was inconvenient to clean.

Another thing that bothers me is that the underside of the base comes with four suction cup feet. I did not find them strong enough while the processor was in use. On the other hand, the suction is a hindrance when the machine is stored away and I am trying to lift it out of a cabinet or scoot along the counter.

I would prefer for the machine to have some plain rubber non-slip feet instead. Lastly, the chopping blade is efficient and cuts food up pretty uniformly, but the three blade design felt dangerous to hold while hand-washing.

It is not a problem if you use a dishwasher, but definitely something to be aware of if you wash by hand. Overall, this food processor is strong and efficient. In spite of the inconveniences, I still thoroughly enjoy using it.

This is my 3rd robot coupe. I never had a complain until I purchased this one!! I thought to purchase a bigger processor both in bowl size and power. and i was so disappointed. The blades are not as sharp as the previous versions.

I have to always sharpen the blade.

Purchased this primarily to shred carrots. I used to purchase pre-shredded carrots for 4x the cost of bulk carrots. Bought this machine to bring down some food costs and it has worked wonderfully. It will pay for itself in no time.

The unit is sturdy, the blades are sharp and it is a work horse of a food processor. Makes shredding and slicing veggies simple and easy.

What a beast! We love our Robot Coupe and honestly can’t imagine large-scale food service without it. The constant feed tube is a game-changer – so great to be able to keep processing without taking off the top bowl and emptying (like with a Cuisinart).

If you have ever been in the small kitchen appliances aisle of any major store, you know there are two main brands that dominate the market; Kitchen Aid and that other brand – starting with a “C”. When my husband and I remodeled our kitchen in the late 90s, he bought the other brand’s large food processor and a slew of accessories.

It was his choice since he did ALL the cooking. However, cleaning it has been a pain and it is finicky to set up for use. It is easily one of our least used appliances. Then enters this beauty…the “7 cup Kitchen Aid Food Processor”.

While being lighter in weight than our older unit, this is still a very sturdy machine, making moving it from one place to another a breeze. Also, instead of the fumbling twist lock of the old processor, this simply clicks into place and the hinged lid makes it even easier to get going.

I love how the included accessories are designed to be stored inside the bowl. Our other one is a bit of a Jenga puzzle to get everything inside. Another nice difference is that this has two speeds and an off/pulse setting, (the other has one speed and off/pulse).

The bowl holds slightly less than our old one, but I don’t see that making a huge difference as it was rarely used to that capacity. I will say, the one thing I like about our old processor over the Kitchen Aid is that it has a larger fill channel on the lid, and the pusher locks into place.

It would be nice if the pusher also locked on the Kitchen Aid, but it is not a necessity. However, these criticisms are minor compared to the overall design and improvements over our old machine. All in all, I am very happy with this Kitchen Aid food processor.

The KitchenAid 7 cup food processor is a capable and solid performer for taking care of the essentials. The unit is well designed. Having used blenders and food processors for some time now, one automatically tends to twist and turn the bowl to lock it into place.

This unit does not need any twisting or turning. need to get out of my old habit. All components such as the blade, the shredding disc, etc. are designed to slide into the bowl for storage making the unit quite compact and convenient to store.

The design also lends to easier cleaning. both by hand or in the dishwasher. After using it, we just put some water in the used bowl and run a short cycle on medium speed to get most of the stuff out.

Then a quick rinse and hand wash in the sink gets it clean. As for usage, it covers the essentials – chop, puree, shred and slice. These functions are a breeze for the 250W motor although based on past experience with similar processors, grinders and blenders, I am not sure if the motor would be able to handle heavy loads.

I do not intend to try it and risk destroying it but it has been my experience that more wattage is needed for heavier loads. A few niggles – I wish there was a dough blade included. For small families, this addition would make this a more complete package.

I am not sure if the dough blade included in the other Kitchen food processors will work with this unit. Will have to check this out. Also, the power cord could have been a bit longer. The shorter cord forces usage to areas close to power outlets.

Overall, a solid combination of the essentials in a well designed product that is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store.

Three months in and no real complaints. The chopper chops, the shredder shreds, the slicer slices, etc. It’s just me cooking for myself here, so I’m not about to start looking north of $100 for one of these.

It acts like it costs and I wouldn’t trust it to last very long in a professional environment, but it’s done what I’ve asked of it up to this point. It’s relatively simple to keep clean, with really only one trouble spot in the lid between the feed chute and the edge, and one at the ends of the slicer blades, where vegetable pieces tend to get stuck.

But not impossible to deal with and not the end of the world. Speaking of the slicer disc, gather your wits and pay attention when you’re handling that thing. Just take my word for it. It doesn’t seem too loud for a food processor, but it is a food processor.

Frankly, I haven’t heard them all but I’ve never heard a quiet one. At least, not one that wasn’t one of those small, underpowered pseudo-machines. You probably should expect some noise if you’re going to use one of these.

I did have an issue with a broken part that I contacted Nutrichef about and they replaced it. So, all good.

There are a few things I would change to make it easier to clean, like putting the vertical reinforcing lines on the outside, rather than on the inside. Outside of that, so far so good. Whether it’s durable or not, the future will tell.

I just received the Nutri Chef Food Processor and it looks very stylish and works great. I just used the shredder to go through five lbs of cheese in no time. Awesome machine.

Returned. I like the aesthetics of it and I like the multiple functions. However, the plastic pitcher that holds all of the food in is cheap. I made chocolate chip cookie dough batter in it and it created deep indents/scratches!! I don’t understand what is in chocolate chip batter besides the chocolate chips that would cause such deep scratches.

I used a silicone spatula to scoop the batter out. I decided to use it again and made a black bean brownie batter. It just couldn’t pulverize the beans enough so while eating the brownies, I kept getting pieces of the outer shell of the black bean (I used canned).

It made the brownies less palatable. Also, I had to clean the unit after using so I put it in my dishwasher, top rack. The handle is a problem because it holds water there. And I couldn’t get to it to dry it.

That moisture will lead to mold… Overall, I don’t expect the pitcher to last long. And it doesn’t pulverize food enough for my tastes. There’s no way this thing is going to last. I suppose you get what ya pay for.

This unit is cheap. I ended buying the Cuisinart classic series 14 cup processor. Holy Toledo!! That thing is a power house!! (No, I’m not a competitor or paid person. Just a mom who likes appliances that actually work well).

It’s $250 but we’ll worth it.

This food processor is great! I would definitely suggest it to anyone looking to cut time in the kitchen. It makes chopping food so much easier. I don’t have any suggestions for improvements. This is not crazy expensive.

It is a bit bulky so make sure you have storage space for it.

I have owned this exact model for 20 some years and have never had a problem, so when I saw the same one for sale I snatched it up instantly. It is made durable and the blades are molded into the middle spindle so there is absolutely no way for food to get in it.

The way that the new ones are made the blades are riveted on and the food can get under and mold. The reviews that I have read about this problem is in all the high dollar food processors and that is a concern that needs to be addressed.

The only drawback is that there is no little hole to be able to drizzle through the food shoot.

This food processor is handy and conveniently stores away without taking up much space in the cabinet or on the counter. Finely chop or purée vegetables, Oreos or anything you need to. I use it a lot.

I love mine. And cleanup is a breeze!.

Pros: This is a machine for either a large family or for batch cooking. Small quantities are not its thing. It is very fast – it will slice a whole cucumber before you’ve picked up the pusher. The speed with which it deals with whatever you use it for more than outweighs the time to wash it afterwards.

I have had it for just over a year now and I would recommend it to anyone who makes large quantities. It makes incredibly smooth humous, partly because it is happy to run for several minutes. The cream whipper works very well but can’t cope with small quantities.

It is brilliant as a liquidiser with no need to scrape the sides down. The spatula fits the bowl so everything is scraped out cleanly. Even after a year I am still amazed by how fast and effectively it processes food.

No need to peel tomatoes for soup!A very satisfied purchaser! Cons: Don’t believe the ad which says you won’t need a mixer. It does not make fruit cakes as it chops all the fruit, leaving none whole.

I couldn’t make it do the butter and sugar bit, it just picked up all the butter and did no mixing at all. The smaller container would be more useful if it had a small cream disc. The instructions say it is not advisable to put the pieces in a dishwasher which is OK but you need a fairly large sink – this thing is BIG.

It is also heavy so needs to sit on the work-top: this is not a criticism just a statement of fact and reflects how hard you can make it work.

My old Cuisinart food processor broke down after many years of excellent service but when I went back to buy their new top of the range one I found they were all total rubbish and poor quality, so I was forced to look elsewhere.

I spent very many days looking at specs and reviews, it came down to 2 choices, the Magimix, or the Sage. I was sold on a number of points, the size of the bowl is one of the biggest, the standard 4 blade option plus the highest powered motor which was bigger than any other motor outside of an industrial system! This is heavy like my old Cuisinart, and WOW does it chop! The 4 blades makes such a difference, the performance is exceptional.

The ONLY improvement that could be made is a variable speed because, WOW this is seriously impressive! 30 years motor guarantee as well. Looks like I won’t outlive this machine. Don’t hesitate, it’s great, so far.

Will update, if anything goes wrong but I’ve seen YouTube demonstrations of this machine after 7 years, still working perfect and I can believe it.

Thought I had bought the best but bowl fractured after a few uses – was replaced by Sage but same happened in same place at bottom. Then lid fractured but can’t be replaced – can’t use mixer now as lid doesn’t work.

Blades bent and little nicks if metal missing from main chopper , French fry blades bent. Pushers really deteriorated. Waste of money and time on phone to sage to resolve as told today no parts in sight after maybe a year of trying.

I will now have to buy from a more trusted brand. What good is a really powerful motor if you can’t make parts that are up to the task or are not easily replaceable ? You live and learn.
