I’m so glad that I found this product and purchased it on Amazon. It came at a great price and perfectly complemented my bamboo cutting board. I have been using this as instructed starting with the daily use for the first week to get it properly treated.

This is really a great product . It does it job very well for what it is meant for. Amazing price and a nice product. I would definitely buy it again.

I machine parts for restoring different things, but I can’t stand the smell of machine oil. With this product, you have to look to see if you have it on your hands, because it is so clean and pure with almost no odor.

It works great for many things, including revitalizing old wood parts, and bone handles on antique knives.

I use cutting boards & butcher block mineral oil for my skin. Mineral is a fine oil not thick like some oils in pharmacy. Mineral oil heals itching skin. 9If i purchase two 16 oz bottles i would pay close to $20.

00 for it. One gallon of mineral oil from ebay cost me about 24. 00 that is a great deal & great savings. I will not have to order mineral oil for a while.

This mineral oil is great. it can be used for so many thing. I like to use it in my lotion. it is great for your skin. Also i have hard wood floors throughout my house and i use it to clean the floors it gives them an extra shine.

it also helps with creaky floors. I have an older house so alot of places int he hard wood squeak so a little of this mineral oil helps get rid of it. The is so many other things mineral oil can be used for.

i would recommend every one to keep some around for daily purposes.

This seems to be a good quality, high grade mineral oil you can use for cooking, on wood, as a facial cleanser and more! I will have it in difference containers labeled for different uses and definitely keeping some in my bathroom for cleansing my face.

It doesn’t have a taste or odor so you could use it as a carrier oil for essential oils quite easily if you are experienced in that. I was surprised at the many, many uses of it.

Good and safe food grade oil. I ordered it for the curing of my cast iron pans and now also use it to buff my wooden kitchen cupboards! Beautiful results. Not sticky. I recommend!

Got here quickly, packaged well.

An solid win in my book and an absolute necessity if you have any type of wooden product that gets washed or wet quite a bit. Howard’s Food Grade Mineral Oil is A must have if you want to keep any wood item, whether it be a butcher block, cutting board, wooden spoons, trivet, or even a raw wood piece of furniture from drying out and breaking.

I picked this up when I bought a large bamboo cutting board and while each step takes a bit of time it makes me feel secure in knowing that my cutting board is protected. Howard’s Butcher Block Food Grade Mineral Oil and conditioner are food safe so you can rest assured that you won’t be poising yourself by food absorbing the oil and conditioner when cutting it up.

There is a very soft scent that’s almost indiscernible, but it doesn’t have any taste that food can absorb. A little goes a long way. I keep the rags that I use for the conditioner and oil in jars and wipe down the cutting board after every use making it so there are times I don’t need to put any product on the board because there’s enough on the rag to get the job done.

This type mineral oil is recommended to seal and preserve natural woods such as bamboo in cutting boards. Wood cutting boards are preferred over plastic or glass materials which dull knife blades more quickly.

Moderately priced, easy to apply. Palm of hand works well.

Being an avid cook, I cook almost every meal I eat. I have 4 bamboo wood cutting boards which I use all the time. I usually wet sand and re-oil them somewhere about every two months. I have been using Howard’s oil for a while now.

I like how light and clean it feels and looks. It doesn’t seem like you’re using industrial type oil, like some other brands do. What I usually do is first wet sand the boards completely smooth, especially removing all the knife marks.

I let them dry in the dish rack for a few hours. I then apply the oil generously with a soft cloth, then let them sit in a dish rack overnight to dry. I wash the boards off with dish soap, let them dry again, then they’re ready to use.

There is no after taste on the food at all. My boards are in great shape, especially the board I use for cooked meats, which has a nice patina. I would highly recommend Howard mineral oil for cutting boards and other related uses!.

I got this to lube a sliding bay window which was extremely difficult to open & close, and did not want to use a toxic chemical such as WD-40. After applying a little bit of this oil in the track it’s a breeze to open and close the window.

We have cats that love to be by the window, and sometimes manage to slide their tails over the tracks when walking across the sill. Although mineral oil is not good for them either I felt it would be better to use this instead of WD-40 or some similar item.

This product is well worth the cost. I slathered it on my cutting board and it soaked it up. Looks great and is now protected. Unfortunately, my small board had already begun cracking so I skipped trying to revive it, lesson learned.

If you have wooden boards make an investment in a good, food grade oil.

Very easy to use. Just pour a small amount on your cutting board and rub until it is lightly coated. I restored 3 old cutting boards and one new one. They looked new.

LOVE this oil for preserving and conditioning my cutting board. Another reviewer stated that it’s JUST mineral oil and she bought plain mineral oil somewhere else for cheaper. do your own research – not all mineral oils are food-grade and meant for human consumption.

Very impressed with the quality of the product. I first used it on my worn out bamboo cutting board and it brought it back to new after two applications. Then I tried it on my wood kitchen cabinets which have seen better days and it was a miraculous change for the better.

WOW!!.

I spent half an hour to try to clean the oil off the cupboard using this mineral oil to find nothing had changed, if not messier. Finally I tried the compound I used to clean my guitars with and wiped it off with lemon oil and voila, the cupboard shined like a new car! I’m not sure what mineral oil is good for, but surely not for cleaning oily wood surface.

Used this oil to restore wooden handled utensils that had been flooded … applied first and let soak in and dry, then applied a second time and let dry. Works wonderfully!

I tried this Mineral oil as laxative for occasional constipation and really works, without cramps or any inconvenience. Works overnight and doesn’t give you a diarrhea like stools, instead it softens it for a nice relief.

The only thing that might me a little odd is that you will have an oily film along with the stools.

My sister-in-law uses this product a lot because of dialysis. It is getting hard to find but thanks to DG I was able to purchase some for her.

It is a great product if one suffers for cronic constipation. Just one or two teaspoons twice a week keeps the digestive process clear and easy.

Used it on a brand new large acacia wood end grain cutting board. Applied a generous amount that the board soaked in easily and brought the timber color our beautifully. Great light scent. The before and after photos are attached – nothing else was added to the board.

In fact, in the before photo the spots are the oil soaking through from being applied on the other side – it penetrated over an inch! I got this great result and used less than an 1/8 of the bottle.

I have spent a lot of money on William Sonoma cutting boards. I here so many people complain that there cutting boards split. Using this oil is great to keep your cutting boards are in great shape.

I had missed getting this several times before. I needed it mainly for a hand made butcher block cutting board that our oldest boy made in shop class when he was 13 or 14 years old, he is now 62. I WORKED great, just like I knew it would.

I have several other wooden objects that the kids made for us. I’m in the process of treating those as well.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!! The creams/oils are VERY VERY VERY old. They were made in 2015. The cream is so old and hard it will not come out the tube. And it smells like cigarettes. It’s terrible. I’m returning ASAP.

And calling and reporting them for selling this old garbage. The cutting board came all busted up because there was zero protection. ZERO. Just thrown in a box. Do not buy from here.

Best stuff on the market for keeping your wood cutting boards, bowls, counters in perfect condition. I previously purchased from another vendor and this is the first time I ordered it on Walmart. com.

I was pleased with how quickly it arrived and in great shape. I will definitely plan to order again from this vendor. By the way, this stuff really lasts a LONG time. A little truly goes a long way.

I have been using this on all 3 of my cutting boards ever since I got it. I have used mineral oil in the past, but this seems to work a lot better. My Shun board, in particular, was dry and dusty feeling before I used it, but it’s getting a nice patina (for lack of a better word) now.

I also like the squirt bottle to get it on the board. Not messy at all, like the mineral oil was. I recommend this product completely!.

I bought this to restore my wooden cutting boards since they were looking dry and sad. With that being said… I did not try to use the oil as a laxative. I looked at many retailers online and this is by far the most affordable deal.

While the consistency of this mineral oil is fine, it smells like burned plastic. Did you ever have a creepy crawlers bug maker in the 1990s? If so, this has the same smell! I use mineral oil to remove makeup.

I had to return this item due to the odor.

Bought three of these (the max allowed when purchasing online for pick up) and probably seemed creepy with a lot of, ahem, internal issues. But hands down, this is the best price of mineral oil I’ve found anywhere.

I bought so much because yes, as another reviewer stated, this is the same thing as butcher block oil and I had a large project going. Don’t break the bank and spend stupid money on the fancy stuff. This is food grade and exactly the same stuff for oodles less money.

I bought it to seal my wooden spoons and then tried it on my stainless steel appliances, WOW!! FINALLY a product that really does make them show room shine! Very little goes a long way too.

Should have never bought the stuff, it comes to you in an unsealed bottle and in a plain envelope with no return label it was very odd. But thank you very much bed Bath and beyond for letting me return it and giving me a full refund.

I did some research online and actually discovered a better product to put on your cutting boards, liquid organic coconut oil.

I bought the oil, the conditioner and the 3-pack of lint-free clothes. Great little combo. The oil really shows the wood well and I’m just trusting the chemists that the conditioner does its thing 🙂

We used it for 3 different cutting boards which it covered very well. Because of this good experience we also used it to cover a teak wood coffee table that had water rings stains. The mineral oil improved the woody look and the water stains disappeared.

For the same item, but different Generic Store Label, it’s only $2.08 at Walmart for the same stuff and same 16 oz siz!. What a mark-up at CVS!

Product was open. When I took off the top, the inner seal was open. Threw it out. Not a fan of this CVS Have had problems in past and lines always long, as well as receipts!
