This was sent as a gift, and they were overall thrilled with this product. Their only complaint was that it was too small. Not sure because we gave as a gift.

I bought the basket as a surprise for my parents. The site made me pick a delivery date so I picked the Tuesday after Memorial Day because my parents were going to be out of town the weekend before. The basket ended up being delivered the Saturday before which means they weren’t in town to receive it.

I had to ruin the surprise and tell them about the basket so they could have the neighbor go and get/hold it for them. Why bother asking for a delivery date if you’re gonna ignore it? The product was great though.

They ended up loving all the items!.

Five different cheeses! Three different sausages, one of them x2! Three different mustards! The YUMMIEST creamy Snow Mints! (Seriously, you must RATION the mints! Otherwise you’ll just eat ’em all up at once and feel like you’ve cheated yourself! Fortunately I saw the danger and rationed proactively.

I bought this for an employee who became ill while on our business trip. We sent this basket to cheer him up as he recovered. It was a fun way to tell him we were thinking of him and more useful than a card! The cheeses and meats were fresh and delicious and he enjoyed them all! This was the only company we found who would deliver within 2h hours and guarantee freshness!.

I sent this to the family across the street as the Mom and her husband were married for 50 years last year. The ‘kids’ (both adults) were with Dad as he lost his wife and I thought some snacks would be great for the 3 of them.

My only complaint is the delivery service left the box (unprotected and not covered and vulnerable) on top of their mailbox in sleet/freeze and when I got my own mail I had to carry it up to their protected large porch.

I am sure the person who delivered was younger than myself ( I am 73) who HAD to deliver it properly. Dad of 50 plus years told me the treat came in very handy. This would get all the stars ex for the very bad delivery service!!.

I made the New York Texas Five Cheese Bakery Toast with spaghetti. I prefer a crunchy toast so I place the toast slices on the bare rack and cooked it until it was golden brown on the bottom. The toast was delicious all by itself and when I dipped it in the homemade spaghetti sauce 🙌🏾 simply heavenly.

One piece would probably be enough but I had two slice. The cheese was so gooey and wasn’t the fake cheese. Its without artificial flavoring and no preservatives. I will definitely be purchasing this brand of Texas toast.

It wasn’t greasy like other brands I have tried. The edges was crunchy and the center was soft. The seasoning didn’t overshadow the chess flavor which was perfect for me. This probably is the best store brought cheesy garlic toast I have had.

I definitely recommend others to purchase it. It can be served for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Please try it you will not be disappointed.

I have been buying Texas Toast for years- my favorite side kick for pasta dishes if I’m not in the mood for a fresh loaf of Italian bread. It heats up quickly and perfectly every time, and the taste of garlic is just right – not too overpowering.

The crust is fantastic, never hard, just enough to give it a great texture to the bread, which is always soft with a slight crispness from baking. I personally love the taste of this with the cheese on it, the cheese makes it almost seem more drenched in garlic butter.

I do however have family members that think it’s too much with the cheese, thinking it seems too drenched in garlic butter. Would recommend, and will continue to buy!.

The New York Bakery Texas Toast in garlic flavor was delicious. It had a nice garlic and butter flavor. Not too garlicky. The toast had a good amount of butter on it. Not greasy or drippy. I thought the slice would be larger than it was.

The bread is about 3/4 of an inch thickness. We had the toast with steak and corn. We baked the slices in our toaster oven. Very easy to make. Just remove the amount you want and bake in the oven or toaster oven.

I would recommend this if you want a good tasting garlic bread without having to make it yourself.

The photo in the ad showed 2 different cheeses 2 jars of mustard and a regular size roll of summer sausage. The one I received had the 2 cheeses ,1 had of mustard and a little tiny sausage roll that wouldn’t make a sandwich.

And they had little box of crackers.

We love Harry & David pears. These were disappointing compared to past purchases. Pears arrived with blackened spots and bottoms. Not sure if due to cold weather during transport. Left out as directed to ripen.

Not as sweet or juicy as we’ve had before.

I purchased 5 of these gift boxes for Christmas gifts and was very pleased with the appearance and quality of the box contents. They were nice gifts to give for a neighbor, a service provider, a teacher, a mailman , and a friend and her husband.

I actually wished that I had ordered a couple more because it ended up being well received and everyone seemed to enjoy it. A nice gift that was great for those gifts that you just don’t know what to give.

I knew going in that the items were small. I accepted that and knew that, because of the name attached, you pay more. However, I am leaving three stars as the quality was not worth the price or name.

Most of the items were bland or tasteless. I had high expectations for flavor that was sadly, not there.

I think Bush’s has the best beans so I was very excited to try out the chili starter kit. Just as the beans, the chili kit did not disappoint. Being able to take that extra help in the kitchen anytime you can is a big help.

It truly couldn’t have been any easier. Browned the hamburger meat, chopped onions, garlic and I personally like to add the Rotel tomatoes for that extra zing. I did also add a additional can of pinto beans as well and just a few extra spices too.

It takes no time whatsoever to prepare this chili and it taste like it’s been cooking all day long. Extremely flavorful! So many yummy things you can do with this chil. Of course traditional bowl of chili, add a generous scoop to a baked potato with any type of fixings, or even any cooked pasta noodle.

You can get quite creative without having to really go to much trouble. Also great when making homemade nachos. So many tasty things that you can do. I always like making a large pot of chili so there’s plenty of leftovers for the next day for minimal time in the kitchen and always guaranteed to know everyone is going to be loving the endless options that are available to have a tasty meal from the Bush’s chill starter kit!.

I love Bush’s beans, however this particular flavor “Chili Magic” didn’t contain much magic. It’s basically a small can of pinto beans with a mild cumin/chili flavor. To make the chili, one has to add, 1 lb of meat, onion and a can of tomatoes.

It says not to drain the tomatoes. I drained the tomatoes because I wasn’t using a full pound of meat. In my opinion if you did use a pound of meat it would be a lot of meat and not much beans and not much flavor.

If I was going to add ALL the fixin’s for chili I might as well just use a can of Bush’s Pinto beans and add my own spices. Overall the flavor was just OK, pretty mild tasting chili. It needed more spice and more beans and less liquid.

I love these chili beans. It’s great that they come in mild medium and hot varieties. I tried the medium and they were just that. I like a lot of heat but my wife likes things milder. The medium were good for both of us.

The chili seasoning is very tasty and flavorful. I think I would probably add a little more spice if I were making chili with a meat. I used the beans to make one of my favorite lunches. I added them to ramen noodles, added some peanuts and a couple spoonfuls of chili pepper sauce.

They were fantastic! Bush’s makes the best canned beans on the store shelf. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been buying these Texas Brags for a very long time and look forward to these treats becoming available around Christmas time. The brags have gone through some changes since I first bought them and not in a good way.

They started out as two-inches across, using only whole pecans, not bits and pieces and were packaged in round boxes. Through the years, they have evolved into tiny bite-sized candies, using pecan pieces and packaged in a square plastic box.

BUT, the biggest change is the taste. This year there is a distinct taste change. If you like overly salty pecan brags, you will love these. Personally, I will no longer look forward to our yearly brag treat and will no longer be purchasing.

I got my first box last year and had to order a second. This year I bought 3 boxes, one as a gift and two for me. I just ordered two more boxes for me. I find these delicious and addictive. It is impossible for me to eat just one.

Arrived fresh. We enjoyed the soft caramel contrasting with the crunchy pecans. Although the caramel is not of the buttery-tasting variety that I prefer, it has its own unique flavor and the candies did not last long in our house!.

I was searching all over for the perfect variety Of gift baskets for Mother’s Day. I finally found this site and they had everything I could ask for. My mom is picky to an extent and she loved everything included.

We got the meat and cheese sampler it was to die for. The presentation was great, easy to open and of course, delicious. They came very promptly especially because I did order these things a few days before Mother’s Day with a personalized photo card.

I will only order from them going forward.

My son turned 21 far from home, so I sent his one of these packages with a bottle of wine in it among other goodies. He loved it very much! It was classy and grown up – and he doesn’t really eat sweets so it was perfect.

The only thing is he couldn’t find the custom card I created, but the agent told me to have him look under the packing list on the outside of the package, then he found it. Meanwhile, they mailed him a copy, sent me a PDF to share with him, and credited me the cost for the custom card.

Everything was perfect! It was a huge hit with my family over Christmas. They ate nearly everything on Christmas eve and the leftovers went in the next few days! Everyone commented on how moist the sausage was, very yummy! Everything came packaged just as you see here.

This was a Christmas gift for my Dad, which he loved. This had a good combination of salty and sweet food gifts! He especially liked the cashew brittle.

On any occasion I have ever received something in a Harry & David box, or have had the pleasure to share the “fruits” of another’s gift of a Harry & David basket or box of pears, I have never been disappointed.

I also keep the pretty boxes they are shipped in, and have for years used one of the flat boxes with foam and cardboard dividers to store my most special Christmas ornaments. But it is fruit, and if it didn’t start to spoil quickly, I’d be concerned.

The new attitude toward food is that it has to be real, and if it lives way past its expiration date, you shouldn’t eat it anyway, as you’d be eating preservatives. I don’t honestly know, and haven’t researched if these products are organic and grown without pesticides, but that would be even better!.

This basket was sent to my mom for her birthday. She lives in Arizona. It was not packaged with any type of insulation, to keep the products from excessive heat. Unfortunately, the cheese was melted.

The crackers, nuts, and pears were not damaged by the heat. She said that they were the best pears she ever had. I just wish there was some type of refrigeration for shipping dairy products during.
