20 Best Folding Recumbent Exercise Bike (2023 Updated)

I’ve had this Exerpeutic bike for a bit over a month now and I LOVE it. I wish I’d gotten it a year ago when I was first moved to working from home. I started looking at desk exercise options about a year ago so I could be just a bit more active during the day, and a lot of the options I saw had mixed reviews and horror stories about customer service.

I love the look of that viral TikTok bike and almost bought it, but opted for this one because it’s half the price and is made by an exercise equipment company, not an office furniture company. This bike fits my adjustable height desk perfectly.

I can get 8-10 miles in a day and not even notice! The tension has a great range and is easy to adjust—I can pedal fast on half tension to raise my heart rate, and then for video meetings when I don’t want to be noticeably pedaling, I turn the tension up to high and pedal slowly.

The height of the seat/ distance from pedals is also easy to adjust. I’m a small person, but my partner (5’11”) can easily use this bike too. The pedals and attached adjustable stirrups are comfortable, and the seat is comfortable enough to sit in for several hours at a time, and I try to swap between standing and sitting.

The bike is easy enough to move out of the way and fold up when I need to. I’ve only had this bike for a month so can’t speak to longevity, but my parents have had the exact same model for three years now (it was recommended by my dad’s physical therapist when he was recovering from a stroke), and their bike is going strong on three years of near daily use.

The only downside is that it does come in pieces and the setup process could be complicated if you’re not familiar with putting things together following a diagram, but it’s not any trickier than your average IKEA furniture.

I put it together myself in less than an hour and it’s been solid and sturdy.

So I bought this bike because I’m out of shape and needed to get a little cardio while the weather is bad outside, I like riding my bike. I read most of the reviews even the one star reviews so I was skeptical but I bought it anyway.

Shipping was faster than what they said so that was good, I chose to pick it up at the Walmart pick up location. it arrived in good condition and very well packed and while it weighs about 45 lbs, I had no problem removing it from my car and taking it into my house.

After removing all of the parts I determined that the hardware was of exceptional quality, better than most items of this type. The directions were very well written and easy to follow so I don’t know why some reviewers said they had problems with that.

I timed the assembly from the minute I opened the box and from start to finish it took approx 50 mins. I did notice that one of the pulse connectors in the seat tube was slightly deformed which would have caused a problem with the pulse detection but I took a couple of minutes and reshaped the connector and made sure that it was making a good connection when I plugged it in, this is probably why some reviewers had a problem with the pulse not working.

those connectors are easy to break because they are very small and need a gentle touch to get it right. They probably should have used a better (larger) connector than what they did but if you are careful you should have no problem making these work.

Overall the assembly went well and very straight forward. There are 2 positions that you can mount the seat bottom to the bracket depending on your height and multiple adjustments on the seat height bar, that being said and based on other reviewers, I set mine to the tallest position as I am 5′ 11″ tall with a 33″ inseam.

This position worked out perfect for me but I think if you are taller and have a longer leg inseam you may not fit this bike to well. My legs are just short of being fully extended in this position while pedaling which matches the way my outdoor bike is set up.

The seat is fairly comfortable, as I said, I am 5′ 11″ and I weigh right at 210 lbs so the longest time sitting in the seat is about 30 mins with minor discomfort. I really was expecting it to be a little worse than it was, again based on other reviews.

The seat gets a 4 out of 5 for comfort. Some reviewers had a problem with the pedal installation, not sure exactly why but I think some reviewers may never have assembled any type of bicycle in the past, if so, they would know that the pedals have reverse threads on one side and righty tighty doesn’t work on this part.

I removed the pedal straps as they kept getting in the way and I really didn’t seem to need them anyway. The provided tools while adequate and do work, I did not use them, so maybe assembly went a little faster because of that.

After all was assembled, I set it in front of my TV in our small living room and gave it a try. To my surprise everything functioned as it was supposed to and the bike really is very quite, I did not have to turn up the volume on the TV at all.

One side note, you must have both hands on the pulse detectors in order for the pulse part to work and it takes about 30 secs or so for it to give an accurate reading. The tension adjuster works well but is so loose on the lower settings its almost as if it didn’t register any tension.

When I got it to about the #4 position it seemed to be okay, I found that starting at the #5 position worked really well and the highest setting was really difficult. I spent 30 mins on my first workout and I didn’t sweat to much but I did get my heart rate up.

The wife liked it so much I decided to buy another one of these for her so we could both exercise together. It also arrived ahead of time and was packed well. It took me only 40 mins to assemble that one and found similar problems with it on the connectors.

This bike worked the same as the other and had no problems. Both of these bikes I have determined are very well built and are of good quality. Both bikes are small enough to set up in our small living room in front of our Flat Screen TV, where we watch our favorite shows while getting a workout.

The display on the bike is low enough that it does not get in the way of viewing the TV and you can still look down and see it with no problem. When we are finished, we fold them up and wheel them into the bedroom where they store neatly in the corner of the room.

Both bike’s stored together take up about a 20″ x 40″ spot in the corner, they fold up really small and I am surprised how small a foot print they take up when folded. Moving them on carpet with the built in wheels is a little challenging but can be managed, they roll really well on the kitchen linoleum.

For the $125 that I paid for each one, I was expecting a lot less so I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials used and the quality of the build. I think this bike will last a long time.

I have had this bike for less than a month now so after I use it a while longer I will try to come back and add any new experience that I have with this product. Also, I had no problems with the display on either bike like some of the other reviewers did.

Overall good value for the $$ paid!.

PROS – Super easy to put together – Very quiet and smooth while in use – Can watch TV or listen to music while on this bike – Fits perfectly under my adjustable standing desk – Is light and easy to move around, between rooms CONS – I wish there was more resistance.

Highest level is barely perceptible – The heart rate handle bars never catch my reading, took them off Overall, this is a great bike for me to use while working or if I want to move while watching TV, which is what I wanted it for.

This would NOT be a good bike if you’re looking to get a hard workout. At a price well below all other desk bikes out there, I’m very happy with this.

This bike is absolutely worth the price. 1. This bike does take two people to put together, but the manufacturer has all the screws and bolts needed in its own little compartment on a big plastic sheet.

Follow the directions and it should be fine. Now, it did take me and my husband about 3 hours to put it together, but neither of us are really handy people. It is delivered in a big box and it is heavy.

I was able to walk it into the house and down my hallway by myself, but if it needs carried upstairs or managed more than in a door and down a hallway it will need two people to carry. 2. If you are like me, I want to know if a “plus size” person can use it without needing an emergency room visit! 🙂 Well, I am here to tell you that I was able to sit on it and ride without a problem.

Truth time. My birthday was yesterday and I just turned 49. I have bad knees, am 5′ 5″ and I weigh around 350 lbs. Hence the reason I needed a bike to hold more than 250 to 300 pounds. That did not break the bank!! Now my husband could use any exercise bike as long as it had seat/leg capacity for 6’3″ – 210 lbs.

He had no problem riding even set to my height. 3. Once I was able to pull my leg over the bike in a straddle position and sat down I rode a mile as a practice run. After the exercise it is easier to pull your leg back over the top of the bike to get off.

There are no handles except on the side of the seat if you need something to steady you. I may pull one of my kitchen chairs into the room with the bike so I can have a hold of something to steady me getting on and off for my first couple times.

While biking I found that having the side seat handles are really the only thing you need if you need to hold onto anything. 4. This review is being written on the same day it was put together.

Super quick and easy assembly – instructions are well written and hardware comes separated and labeled by step. Bike is sturdy and stable, yet easily transported. Magnetic drive is smooth and shifts tensions easily, pedal action is also smooth.

The only two things making this a 4-star and not a 5-star rating are the lack of a backlight on the display (its hard to see the mode in lower light conditions) and that it doesnt fold into as compact a shape for storage/transport as I was anticipating.

Ifi could give it 4. 75 stars I would! Neither of those issues are dealbreakers though – its still a really solid piece of exercise equipment and definitely worth the price!.

It won’t keep track of my miles. If I get up to go to the bathroom or get a water or anything even briefly- it erases my miles. Starts completely all over at 0 miles. Do you know how discouraging this is?? And I can’t find a phone number or contact for them to address this.

I want to cry because I have issues I’ve been working on, with my weight, for health reasons. I’ve been trying everything. This is so upsetting and discouraging and frustrating. I don’t even have the energy or strength or know-how to return a thing of this size… I’m a single mom… :,( just… omg… :,(.

I’m a self employed individual usually spending 10-14 hours a day sitting at a desk doing cad designs. I find my legs getting stiff usually spending so many hours idle and not up and walking around. I mostly rely on my watch telling me 1 x an hour to get up and move to stay somewhat mobile.

Recently I just had meniscus surgery and the recovery program is doing specific excersizes 3-4 x a day. That was my motivator to buy this bike, so I can use it to pedal while maybe working or doing paperwork, watching TV at night etc.

I was really happy to see the smoothness & quietness of the pedal mechanism and the ease and durability of the assembly. It has lots of adjustment in so many areas. The only negative thing I notice is the seat back not having enough forward adjustment for shorter people.

Im 5’6″ and it is still short for me, but my wife who is 5’1″ could never use it because of this one area its lacking unless putting a thick pillow behind her. I’m thinking of doing the same even for myself.

However overall I really like it and feel it has been a real asset in my recovery program.

I love this! It’s just what I needed to get in some light exercise throughout the day. It took me 2 hours to assemble by myself. This does not take an engineering degree, but it does require some patience.

Just relax and go step by step. Pros: Easy to set up and put aside for use during the day. I pedal 2-3 hours per day. The desk is sturdy and adjusts easily (up/down, forward/back, angle up/down). Easy to get on and off.

Very sturdy, very quiet. Does not wobble. Cons: Not a lot of options for adjusting the seat and the back. You might need to put a pillow behind you. Seat and back are not easily adjusted – once they’re in place, they’re set.

The seat is very uncomfortable. I’m a woman built, shall we say, on a larger scale. My sit-upon needs more support. This was easily solved by buying a wider bike seat that sits over the existing one.

I still need to stand up and move about once or twice an hour, but getting up and moving about is good for you, too. The bike will roll to set it aside, but does not roll easily over carpet. I can live with this.

I highly recommend this for anyone who has difficulty working exercise into their schedule. I can easily do my computer work while I pedal.

I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion.

The upper arm bike isn’t loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together.

If I am having the same issue after a few days I will try some WD-40 to see if that makes a difference.

I use this exerciser to regain the strength and stamina I lost during the covid-19 pandemic. I don’t have much space, and I was looking for a small unit. It arrived in one large box. Before opening the box, I asked for email instructions to assemble it.

Hammacher Schlemmer responded within the hour, and I read the directions a few times before opening the package. My son-in-law helped me complete this, and he also read the instructions in advance. I spread out a quilt and brought the parts into the basement playroom.

The nuts/bolts/small pieces were separated and labeled in a molded clear plastic container, so I did not have to deal with many jumbled parts. The unit was easy to put together step-by-step, I found the instructions very clear.

Our only mistake was using the wrong washers in the first step, but we quickly corrected that. I tried the exerciser out and could only do 4 minutes! When I went to my health club pre-Covid, I warmed up 20-25 minutes on a stationary recumbent bike before completing the exercise machine circuit and swimming.

I am glad I finally purchased this exerciser. It has been three weeks, and I can now do 20 minutes. I don’t know if I will ever feel comfortable enough to return to my health club. In the meantime, thank you, Hammacher Schlemmer!.

I use this bike most days for aerobic exercise or just to get myself moving after a long period of sitting. At this point, I’ve only used the foot pedaling option. The bike works well, pedaling is smooth and it has a display that let you know how far, how long, ect.

The display would benefit from being lit, so as to make it easier to see. The arm portion of the machine does not move as smoothly as the pedals do and even though I set the resistance at the lowest level, it still felt too much for me to handle at this point.

I do hope that the motion of the arm exerciser smooths out over time. The exerciser came with clear instructions, BUT the print was very hard to see. It took me about 4 hours over 2 days to set it up.

I did get assistance from my spouse on several occasions to get the proper alignment when inserting screws. I also needed help unpacking the exerciser because it weighs about 70 lbs. Another thing to consider is that trying to keep the box it came intact is virtually impossible.

Returning would be difficult. Once assembled, the exerciser is pretty compact and does not look like a hulking piece of equipment.

Although the packaging box was a bit smashed, the bike parts were intact. Easily assembled myself by following the instructions. This is a basic recumbent bike which does not require it to be plugged in to an AC outlet.

Since this was my first recumbent bike, I was looking for just a basic, quiet model which didn’t break the bank. This fit the criteria perfectly.

This Recumbent bike took me and my wife about a hour and 15 minutes to assemble. It came with a little damage to the plastic covering and a tear in the foam covering the handle bars though the box wasn’t damaged so it must have happened at the factory.

No big deal. Because I’m a very large person this recumbent didn’t work out for me. It was given to me for free to try out so i was hoping I could get some use out of it. The #1 problem is the seat cushion as it feels like your sitting on a board.

Even someone under 200 lbs. will be uncomfortable. There is no seat height adjustment however there is a quick release knob to adjust leg length. It was impossible for me to reach it while sitting. To adjust your leg length you pull on the knob and push back or slide down.

If your short legged like me, It bends your knees at a very uncomfortable angle in able to reach the pedals for full cycle motion with your feet. Another problem is the bars you hold on to on the right and left sides are too close to you if you’re large and they need to be farther apart.

Also the seat is very wobbly due to the way the seat support fastens or “floats” inside the rear main frame. Pros- I like the monitor that shows the Speed,Time, Calories,Odometer & Distance. This model might be okay as a low priced entry level recumbent for people under 160 lbs.

Check BBB before buying a Sunny produce! My bike was easy enough for my son to put together for me with help from info. sent with it plus the online video. I was very happy with the bike until it started making a grinding noise the second week.

As the first month of use went by, the noise got worse and bike started leaving a black powder substance on floor under left foot pedal. Customer service was quick to respond at first, but now they won’t answer my calls (I think they’ve blocked my number).

They emailed me day 1 requesting video of problem and serial #. I made the video that day but struggled to shorten it enough to send. I finally sent it and serial # the next day but cannot get a response as to whether they received it and are working on my case.

Even though their website ratings are 4. 5 stars, BBB ratings have them at 1. 5 because of similar issues to mine. Sad to say I may have to file a complaint with BBB. That seems to get their attention.

I am a physical therapist and after watching the video and reading the reviews I purchased the stationary cross trainer for my home. It was actually fairly easy to assemble but that’s the last good thing about it.

It was very flimsy and not a smooth ride. The arm pedals are very hard to start and not smooth. After using for 2 hours the bike developed a annoying noise as if it needed wd40 or some kind of lubricant.

I will have to try to take apart the pedal area and see if I can stop the noise. Very frustrating for a new machine. Do not buy this!.

I guess I got a lemon! I only have 60 miles on it and it has been making a grinding noise and discharging a gun powder like substance. I contacted customer service by email. It took a few days to hear back from anyone.

When I finally did, I was told to remove the pedals and then split the covers with a Philips screwdriver. Once inside, they might can spot physical damage that will lead them in the right direction of repair.

I am to send pictures and video. Now. It was difficult enough to put the thing together and now this? The sad part is I really like the bike. Not sure how I’m going to proceed.

From the time I opened the box to having a completed exercise bike took 90 minutes. There are only pictures in the instructions, no words. A couple of times, I needed to study the pictures for a couple of minutes before figuring out what I was supposed to do.

Not a huge deal if you just take your time. A couple of the bolts weren’t lined up perfectly, but once started, they tightened everything into position. The bike works flawlessly. No noise to speak of.

The magnetic resistance is smooth and operates well at all levels. I researched many different recumbent bikes before buying the Marcy and I am very happy with it. You can spend more for a high priced name brand bike, but you will be wasting your money.

I highly recommend the Marcy Regenerating Magnetic Recumbent Bike.

The bike is ok, assembly is straightforward enough. Got it for my parents since they’re aging and I wanted something safe and sturdy long term. Really wish I hadn’t bought it hastily from Dick’s. The manufacturer has it for like half the price.

So much cheaper elsewhere.

I use every day. Never had bike before. . Seat is soooo comfortable. Has many recording features. Easy to assemble and sturdy.

I rather ride with my legs in a downward position. With this exercise bike your legs are out front forcing an outward stretching motion that requires more effort. If the seat could be raised this would solve the problem.

It is also unstable so if you ride too fast it can tip over. The details say the the weight capacity is much higher than I would recommend. This piece of equipment should be rated at a weight not to exceed 150lbs.

I love how smooth the bike rides and is very quiet if you have any child that is asleep no worries! One thing I did but like about bike is that the console of bicycle where you insert batteries is missing springs so I could not put batteries in my machine, Instead had to plug in.

Will soon send that area back to have another one sent out. Highly recommend this bicycle other than that LOVE it!!.

I love this bike. It’s well designed, comfortable, very quiet, very reasonably priced, cute inviting color, allows shorter people to adjust it for comfort (my main complaint with my previous recumbent bike) and doesn’t take too much space.

It does the job. However, the reasons I gave it four instead of five stars are: 1) The instructions could have been much clearer at points. For example, in step 2, instead of “Connect Sensor wire a (9) with Sensor wire c (12).

Then connect Sensor wire b (10) with Sensor wire d (14),” they could simply indicate that the wire with 2 slots goes with the other wire with 2 slots and the one with 3 slots goes with the one with 3 slots.

This would have been much less confusing. Also, the foot pedal straps could’ve been attached on one side of each pedal. Putting them on was extremely difficult and unclear which way they go without looking at the bike online amplified.

Finally, the front stabilizer (17) and the rear stabilizer (27) are of different lengths. But in the photo in the instruction manual and online, you don’t know (and they are not marked) which is which.

I ended up putting the longer one in front and the shorter one in the rear, but until now I don’t know if this is really how they go. Simple stuff like these just waste a lot of time and could’ve been much simpler and less time consuming if handled better.

2) I agree with the reviewers both here and on Amazon. com that the measurements the computer gives you are pretty much worthless. What I do is just put the mode on “Speed” and watch my speed to make sure I don’t slack.

From the calories burned you get online for your height and weight, I average the calories for the moderate and vigorous workouts (and from my previous recumbent bike (whose computer was much more accurate than this one’s) I had the same number of calories per minute I get from this average) and I multiply the number of minutes by the calories per minute and get the total calories burned.

I also disconnected the sensor wire from the handle pulse wire because I don’t need that. All I go with is the speed. 3) Although I admire very much the way the bike was packed tightly in the box to make it secure and not vulnerable to be hit or bent, this made it very hard to take the parts out of the box.

I even read in one review that the reviewer hit himself/herself with a part trying to take it out of the box. I just had to break these white foam boxes to pieces to be able to get the parts out without hurting myself.

All that said, I’m an almost 61-year old female, and I assembled the bike by myself in two hours. So, it wasn’t too bad, but could’ve been shorter if the above remarks had been considered.

The quality looks good. Pretty easy to assemble. The part I don’t like is that the seat is stationary, and when you adjust the bike to the recumbent setting the seat is tipped back. Makes it somewhat uncomfortable.

Also the handlebars on the seat are too close. If you have a wide “bucket”like me, you’re going to be hitting those bars with your legs, and that hurts.

Don’t buy from this merchant. The box came completely damaged and inside looks like this was returned at some point. The handles bars have a tear in the black covering as well. No, instructions on how to assemble the bike.

So, don’t know if all the parts are here or not. Completely disappointed with this product.

I bought this item three weeks ago. At first tablet/ phone holder part was broken. Contacted customer service and immediately replaced it. The monitor is useless. No on and off button. That means it keeps counting the numbers from previous work out and you can’t have it start from zero! Bike itself works fine and sturdy but after two weeks start making knocking noice! We though it will go away but it didn’t! Tried to return the item but we made a mistake and throw away boxes!.

Really pleased with the purchase. It’s compact, not too heavy so it’s easy enough to move. It arrived on time and well packaged up to protect it. It took about an hour to set up. The only reason it lost a star is because I was hoping for a tougher ride to symbol an ‘uphill seated climb’ but overall I’m really pleased!.

I got the bike from HomeFitnessCode and it turned up swiftly. Not too difficult to put together and although it doesn’t take up much space it’s really sturdy. Love the Ipad holder especially and am really enjoying using it.

Came really quickly, simple enough to assemble, feels sturdy to sit on and is comfortable. Is also pretty quiet which is good. The resistance is good with 8 degrees or gears if you like.

A nice exercise bike for home. Solid built and stable while using. Assembly took almost an hour. Very easy to open and fold. The leg exercise bands quality is cheap and no option to adjust tension so the option is not useful.

Though this product is under 2 day shipping guarantee, it took 4 days not counting a Sunday. You can get other similar products at a much lower price but they do not guarantee 2 day delivery.

Despite it’s simple design and light-weight frame, it is very sturdy. Simply display and easy to use. Only draw backs would be slightly fiddly to put together (not too bad though) and the pedals have the tendency to un-screw after extended use (there is no locking nut) but it’s an easy fix.

Overall, pretty happy.

I had TKR last summer on my right knee and I have TKR scheduled on my left coming up in early October. Part of my therapy was working on an exercise bike much like the Sunny bike so I’ve been looking for the bike for sometime now.

They’re sort of hard to find I guess because they’re rated so well at a cost easily of other exercise bikes. I was very surprised when the bike came in just a couple of days. Frankly I was cleaning off my carport when the UPS man showed up with it.

so I had to move around some of my mess to get the box out of the rain. Now the bike weighs about 100 pounds, comes very well packaged and is by it’s very nature bulky. The directions call it a 2 person job and I’d say that is accurate for most.

I’m 6’4″ 270 pounds so I was able to handle the unpacking and putting it together alone w/o too much problem. Unpacking wasn’t a problem. Just cut the tape and straps, turn the bike upside down and slide the box off by pulling it up.

Then turning the bike back over in it’s normal position. Then unpack the parts (seat, backrest, handles, hardware, etc. ). The hardware and tools are all in one cardboard sleeve that is very well marked so no 4 or 5 bags of hardware floating around.

The supplied tools are actually pretty good and shouldn’t be a problem using to putthe bike together. However my tools are better and I used them instead. Most importantly READ the INSTRUCTIONS. They’re well written and easily followed with very good visuals accompanying the manual.

Actually the bulk of the bike is already put together so you’re actually only attaching parts. There are only 6 steps. Unpacking, putting on the stabilizing legs, putting on the slide rail, seat and backrest, putting on the swing tubes, handle bars, pedals and computer.

All in all it took me about 45 minutes to complete putting it together. I would have done it a little faster but my Australian Shepherd decided he was going to provide unneeded help. The welds seem very solid and the bike is sturdy.

I got it together yesterday and have already put 6 miles on it. So far I’m very pleased.

delivered in a box that was torn and smashed, obvious it was rewrapped. pieces have scratches and back rest was so bent that the back could not be attached. The resistance is set at the highest but offers little resistance.

The bike is for someone 4’11” and 6′. The seat is easy to adjust but for the person 4’11” the info. screen is inches away from their face when the seat is adjusted for the leg length. So disappointed.

because we had the tools to fix the back rest and did not get a response from the support email address, we kept the bike. would never buy again nor recommend to anyone else.

Would be 5 stars if I thought that the display readings were accurate. Rapid and easy assembly. All parts fit well, some scary reviews not withstanding. Illustrations could definitely be larger, particularly the pedal installation.

Product works well and quietly. Step-in/step-out mounting/dismounting is a convenient feature. My wife and I both use it and the seat adjusts quickly and easily. Seat is a good size and comfortable but we would like it a little softer.

An illuminated display would be a helpful improvement. Also, I have low confdence in the display readouts, other than the elapsed time. So far we are well satisfied. As for durability, only time will tell.

(UPDATE) Bike developed a slight “clicking” noise at approx 400 miles. Found that left pedal had loosened slighly (my fault). Tightened pedal (securely this time). No more problem! Check those pedals occasionally!.

This bike is perfect for what I needed. A friend recommended Sunny to me, and I was especially interested in the folding bikes because I have limited space. It folds up like an ironing board and uses nothing more than a tight corner for storage.

My only dislike is that the seat back kind of impedes the full usage of the seat, moving you up more toward the edge of the seat, which can become a bit uncomfortable for long rides. I improvised a simple fix by removing the bolts for the seat back bar.

There’s no back now, but for me, it’s made the bike so much more comfortable!.

I am very happy with this bike. Easy to put together. Great Price. Has been rated high on top 10 list of stationary bikes. Love the gell seat & back & the 10 settings for resistance. I’m 73 & find it’s perfect , especially with COPD, to help me with balance issues.

Best Present to myself to help with breathing issues & balance. If I could, I would give this a lot more stars.

I got this bike as I am temporarily unable to run due to a neck injury. It was pretty simple to assemble (although some of the instructions were a little hard to decipher). All parts were in the box along with some tools to put it together if you don’t already have your own tools.

SO far, I have used it daily and I find the motion is very quiet and smooth. I like the simplicity of the display and, for anyone wondering, you can reset each workout “session” by holding down the button and your session distance and time will reset.

The bike does have an odometer so it will continue to track your entire distance overall, which I like. There is also a nice feature that the screen will toggle through all the items on the screen if you choose the “scan” option on the screen.

Or you can just have it set to stay on distance or time so that is a nice feature to have a little flexibility. I also really like the back of the seat since, as mentioned above, I’m dealing with a neck injury so I can sit back and not worry about needing extra support.

The side handles are very nice too for when I sit back and peddle. An excellent bike for anyone looking for something without any extra bells and whistles that does what it should do at a very reasonable price.

this would decent if it cost considerably less. this was a pain in the butt to put together by myself. the instruction images aren’t clear, so i had to come to the website and zoom in on some product photos to get a better understanding of where certain parts go.

after reluctantly putting this together before bed i did a 1 mile, quick ride in the morning, and in the first 30 seconds on the bike it sounded like something inside the part the main piece fell off AND the odometer went back and forth from.

9 to 1. 3 then back down to 1, etc. i think it’s just going to be returned, I just have to figure out how to schlep this huge thing to my store (without means of transportation) because no way in heck am i spending more time and energy disassembling it!.

Like a lot of people, I’m not going to the gym these days but with it getting colder I wanted something that I could do indoors for cardio. I am so happy I got this. It wasn’t terrible to put together and it seems like is made well.

It doesn’t make noise and fits well in my house, where I don’t have a lot of space. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but it gets the job done at a good price.

I purchased this Fitness Seated Bike to use while I was in therapy for my hip surgery. I am happy to say that it is exactly what I need to loosen up my stiff knee and hip. I’m 5’4″ and 105 pounds. Even though I am slight in build, my husband who is 5’10” and 190 pounds was comfortable with how well made and sturdy this equipment is.

It arrived last Saturday and on Sunday my husband began putting it together. Much to our surprise, It took him 2 hours. The bike will also be my go-to leisure activity and exercise during our nasty winter months this year.

BTW my husband and I are 86 and 82, respectively.

The bike was easy to setup. Loved the way the parts were organized which made the setup quick. It does not store your settings for multiple users but other than that, it serves its purpose.

Received and assembled about a week ago. So far only good things to say about the unit. Very well packaged. No damage. Very well engineered. All the pieces fit together perfectly. All bolt holes aligned.

The instructions are very clear. The hardware for each numbered step is packaged in a separate plastic bag. No sorting through a pile of hardware. Operation is very smooth. Time will tell how well it holds up.

Purchased for wife and self. We are older and it is just what we need. Probably not heavy duty enough for younger high speed folks. Wish it had come in another color rather than pink. Black or gray maybe?.

I purchased 2 of these to set up side by side for the kids and I to use. My teenage daughter and I put both of them together in about an hour, I worked on one while she worked on the other. Instructions and building was very easy if you go step by step.

You don’t need any special skills or tools, everything is included. The bikes are extremely quiet, I have them set up in my large front room and even with both of them going you can’t hear them at all.

My son was visiting and one of my daughters was riding the bike right next to him on the couch and he didn’t even realize she was pedaling it, that is how quiet they are. We’ve put over 200 miles on each bike already with no issues.

They easily adjust in height from my daughter who is 4’8 to my 6′ son with just a twist and pull of the knob on the base of the bike. They are light enough even the kids can move them if they want to set them up to pedal while playing a video game on another tv but sturdy enough they are very stable.

I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good bike that doesn’t want to invest a fortune in all the extra programs and gadgets. I’ve used the high end ones at the gym and personally I am just as happy with these.

In fact these are so quiet and adorable I like them better than the fancy ones at the gym.
