I haven’t used hair rollers since college. My hair has gotten very thin over the years from using curling irons so I decided to use hair rollers again these are perfect for my hair my curls are really tight the next day and they’re very comfortable to sleep in my curls come out really great when I wet the tip with leave-in conditioner and best of all I don’t even have to roll my hair every night the curls often last 3-4 days best $8 I’ve spent and saves me money from going to the beautician!! I love that they come in different sizes/colors and the reusable Zipper Case! Thanks Walmart.

Flimsy plastic clasps makes using these rollers difficult. The old school version of these curlers had a more substantial clasp. I spent way too much time trying to close each curler that I’d placed in my hair.

I got the curls that I’d desired, but it took far much time to achieve the look.

These from hair rollers or a tried and true classic design. They have been around for years and years for a reason, think about it, these are easy to use. Simple foam rollers, you can sleep in, they will not hurt your head.

You don’t need any clips because it’s self locks. Gorgeous styles can be made with these rollers. They said here is a true value because you get so many different size rollers in it.

I do 50s hairstyles where the curls have to be very good and these are perfect. It comes with 2 different sizes and I use the smaller ones in the back and the bigger ones towards the front. The small ones are dark brown and the big ones are light brown.

I sleep with them every night and their comfterble I wear a silk scarf over them so they can stay put. I recommend these for anyone who loves 60s hairstyles with the beautiful curls!.

Ive been curious about these for a long time. So glad i tried these out. Much better than the snap on foam rollers. The plastic ones would always snap off in my sleep and I’d have one or 2 straight strands and the rest curly!!! So annoying!! I LOVE THESE and would highly recommend! More comfortable too and you get more strong wavy curls.

I love these rollers! Over the past few years, I have purchased multiple sets, to make my hair bouncier and curlier. They are so soft, durable and don’t snag. The best!!!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents as I just used the ones I have today, and am back looking for a second set. Yes, these are velcro rollers and you have to use a little care putting them in and taking them out.

The upside is they hold in place well, and the resulting curls are bump and distortion free. You do have to take care not to put too much hair on one roller–which is why I’m back for another set. Even though my hair is not very thick or long, one set is not sufficient.

But I love that you can “heat up” the metal core with either a curling iron or blow drier after the rollers are in, and that adds a little oomph to the result. I’m no hairdresser. But these work for me to get a nice, relaxed curl with little fuss or muss.

Personally I love these- yes the Velcro makes it a bit tough to take them out, the first few inches I just unroll them and then I’m able to slide them out. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Taking them out may be easier for people with finer hair.

Also, I have highlighted hair and am used to flyways and breakage, so that doesn’t really bother me, but I’m sure it could if you’re looking for ultra-smoothness. I love big, bouncy hair and that’s what I get with these.

My hair is just above my shoulders, so I use the small ones at my crown, mediums in the middle and biggest on bottom. When they come down, it’s all volume and bounce. The Velcro does work on its own in some places, in some places I use a clip.

Overall, they’ve given me great hair that I love and I’ll continue using them!! P. s. I bought 2 packs.

I was drawn to these because of their velcro properties with ceramic. However, if you have damaged or brittle hair, do not use these. The velcro is very strong and you really have to pull at your hair to remove them.

Removing them is like pulling cactus burs out of your wool hiking socks. I think they work for a good-looking blowout but I probably won’t use them every day. How do I use them? I use a tubular ceramic brush and divide my hair into a halo section.

I use the curlers on the front of my hair and on the top of my head. I blow dry my hair straight up and then apply the curlers to sit and cool with some hair spray.

I bought these rollers as I was looking for something to give me that trendy 90s blowout. The rollers are great quality and the size variety is excellent! I recommend if you have thick or long hair that you purchase two packets as one wouldn’t be enough for your whole head.

I blow dried my hair with a round brush, placed the rollers in my hair and waited 45 minutes. I was left with extreme voluminous, bouncy hair. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 is that it is quite difficult to use at first and takes a while to get used to.

Overall a great product and excellent value.

I have been buying these rollers for years from different sources. It has always been a problem as there has been no consistency in quality. I was very surprised when these arrived. They are the best quality I’ve ever had.

Who ever heard of something going up in value? Well, here it is! Best quality ever and the price was astounding. Less than half the price I’ve always paid. Wish I could get more just to put in storage for when I need them again but I believe I got the last available.

Love the size of these rollers. Also, plastic rods seem sturdier than some others recently purchased. These hard-to-find small size rollers are great for fine, thin hair like mine. Couldn’t be happier with these.

I hope Annie does not discontinue the size.

These are great when you want to curl your dry hair real quick. Just roll your hair up and spray with hair spray. Then put your makeup on, have a cup of coffee or eat lunch and take down your hair. I run my fingers through my hair rather than brush it out.

These are by far my favorite curlers since they are made of foam so your still comfortable wearing them to sleep. I take out the snaps since they make a fold in your hair and instead fasten the foam rollers with the large size bobby pins and it works out perfectly! No more folds in the hair after curling! Love these and need to get more since its been difficult locating the black extra large size-.

These work very well, it’s a big hard to get the closure tab into the slot but I think over time it’ll loosen up somewhat. Nice rollers though. I used ones like these 45 years ago.LOL

I use these curlers all the time for both my extensions and natural hair. These are a medium sized roller so they give medium sized curls. Depending on how long your extensions are you might want to use this size if you have between 12-18 inches.

They give a great curl and your curls last all day long. Because they are foam they are gentle on the hair! And most important they don’t leave any dents in your hair. I definitely recommend these to anyone who doesn’t want to put heat on there hair to often!.

If you love having your hair curled but not having your hair damaged, this is perfect for you. I usually leave this on overnight and my hair is super curly the next day. If it’s too curly for your liking, you can always spray water on your hair to calm down the intensity.

No need for heat protection, no possibility of damaging your hair, and saves so much time in the morning!.

I think they would work well with longer fuller hair than mine. I could not keep them in and the ones that did stay in gave me curls that puffed out and were not very becoming once I took the curlers out.

I did not add any product so not sure if that was an issue, just washed my hair normal and tried the best I could to roll them up in my hair.

Pro- great product. Put on damp hair for couple hours and curls were tighter than I wanted. I used 2 blue together and pink alone so to get larger curl. After I took out I slept on hair overnight and next day perfect curls.

They needed time to relax. If I wanted same day curl I would use more hair on each curler. Looked nice. Con – Package has small plastic piece covering zipper. Hard to see. Must cut off before unzipping.

I didn’t see at first and broke zipper. Returned for new set.

I have all sizes (rollers) , and I use them to prevent my hair from protecting heat using the flat iron. I will set my hair (weave) using styling foam (Göt2b Glued styling mousse) and flexi-rods during the night while asleep and hair is air drying out from the mousse.

In the morning I have beautiful curls allowing my weave to have a beautiful, first day curl as I received after my weave installment and style. I use these twice a week. The curls lasts for days. In between fexi-rod sets, I’ll pin curl my hair to maintain those curls created by the rods.

They’re comfortable to sleep in as well. I recommend these flexi-rods. I would also purchase a set of 10 due to my granddaughter playing with them and eventually losing them lol to replace. However they are available from small to very huge sizes to create big or small curls, or to create variety of size curls.

or if I don’t have enough of say large purple,large pink flexi-rods. I’d use these ,but using more hair and not rolling the hair tightly but created the same size curl as if I used the bigger sized flexi-rods.

This styling type rollers are the best. During my Junior High School days in the late 80s we had to use either those plastic rollers with the cap to secure them in place and was difficult to sleep in, or use the sponge foam rollers and use the clamp that was attached for secure in place, but always had a line within the curls.

With flexi-rods you create flawless spirals or just lovely curls that’ll hold all day long or depending on the weather; rain mists will cause the curls to fall, but in a wave pattern. I went to London England and the weather in the U.

K. has a lot of rainy/fog days. I used the flexi-rods the night before for styling for I was attending a family member funeral service. My flawless curls lasted for 4 hours, before falling into waves.

I received so many compliments. I suggest to use flexi-rods for curls and to use heated hair curling items once/twice weekly in between fexi-rod sets.

First of all, my hair is finer than baby butt hair, naturally straight, and very silky. It also isn’t thick so I usually curl it to give it some volume and life, but as all girls with fine hair know, heat is especially hard on our locks.

So these flexible rollers were exactly what I was looking for. I put them in my hair on wash day, usually after my hair has air dried with mousse (the curls don’t form for me unless there is some sort of mousse or gel in my hair).

Around bedtime, I just spray large sections lightly with water as I wrap my hair around them. These take a while to dry so I leave them in over night. They aren’t too uncomfortable to sleep in, and I make sure to part my hair in the back and arrange the rollers so that there aren’t any on the very back so that there is at least one sleeping position where you aren’t laying directly on them.

Also, a super fluffy down pillow helps make it easier to sleep with them. The curls are incredibly tight when I first take them out in the morning, but I let them settle while I do morning skincare/makeup/get dressed.

Then I spray them with an ultra fine mist hair spray and flip them around to help them settle naturally and they’re done! These curls stay in my hair as long as ones that I use heat tools to achieve without too much difference in the final style.

I think you have less control over what they end up looking like, but I’m okay with that. I wash my hair two to three times a week and use these almost every time. They are definitely part of my routine now.

They are really easy to learn how to use and they don’t take long at all, it takes me less then fifteen minutes to do my whole head. I love these curling rods and will definitely replace them when they wear out!.

ok. So I’d like to know what focus group decided the hook side of VELCRO belongs on hair curlers. No way. That was not a good idea. However, the velcro can be removed, which I did. So now they are basic curlers similar to what i remember back in the ’60s.

Just had to buy the large bobby pins to make them work. and i have a bunch of multi sized, multi colored hunks of velcro for which I must find a use. Hook side of velcro on a curler. sounds like something you would find at a gag shop.

I would recommend using this after you have fully blown dry your hair. The rollers let your hair in a slightly curled state to achieve the look of a blow out. For those with fine hair this could damage your hair and should not be used regularly.

For anyone with medium or course hair you shouldn’t run into any issues. I have very fine hair and use the rollers on my bangs daily, but not on the rest of my hair to prevent damage. This has been a game changer with my bangs!.

Not a bad experience with the curlers because I never had a chance to use them. When I was ready to use them and removed them from their plastic case, I found long black hairs wrapped around several of the rollers.

I understand having a relaxed return policy (which I will be using!), but something that is a “personal use” product should be carefully screened. I would even say perhaps you should not allow returns on such items in the future.

I can’t really wash or disinfect the rollers or I would.

These rollers may seem old school to you new kids in the block but let me tell you if you do them right they look amazing and that is one less heat item used on your head. I Love XOXO Love these curlers for my children.

Easy for a quick curl. Easy to use. Affordable. Easy to find. Hard to get use to wearing at first. But if you want an easy hair do like me it’s a go to. I recommend it.

quality,quantity & a great price, wonderful for a quick home hair do, shampoo roll up hair ( I use three different sizes this size being the larges although do have green size for when I grow my hair longer ) heat with hairdryer leave for about 20mins remove brush out then set or dress your hair as you wish.

I found these pretty confusing to use. My hair is very think and I think that has something to do with why I couldn’t use them. However I think there would work better for people with thin hair.

It’s alright, but it’s not deep enough for me because my hair is longer. If your hair is longer it will take you longer to use this. I would suggest buying a different one if you have longer hair and want to form twists or dreads.

This was my first curl sponge. I wasn’t sure it would work on my medium length hair, but I got great curls, all over. The sponge was easy to use and the longer I used it, the tighter my curls got. I’m surprised to find that, using the sponge, my curls last a week.

The reason I decided to give less than 5 stars is hairs are left in the foam sponge. Maybe it’s okay, since I only need to use the sponge once a week, but hairs left in the sponge does concern me.

I have had this for a week and it is impressive. My hair is about 2-3 inches long all around, but most of it is extremely kinky. Since the texture varies on my head, some parts twist tighter than others.

Some parts were already in semi-locs on their own,but this speeds it up. The way my hair grows I expect it all to be fully twisted in a month. AND there is no pain from someone touching my head!.
