The stand was better than I expected for the price. I got 2 but they aren’t exactly the same and one has a tad of rust on it but all and all, for 60% off and free shipping, you can’t go wrong! I got 2 for my hang drums and it’s a perfect fitting stand for them! It has been quite a while now and I am still loving these stands.

I can set up and break down in minutes. The stands fold up with a carry bag which helps to keep my larger gig bag organized. I like the acoustics better when using them also. Some people sit on the ground to play, I am old and it is not comfortable for me.

Also, when playing at city parks I worry about the filth on the ground. The stands are versatile and can also be easily “tweaked” for odd sized instruments.

Not sure if Ive written a review on this or not. If it says Griffin, in English it means cheap as you can get it Chinese knock off. Its very small, short, can handle a Little Squeeler or an Evans practice pad but no more.

The choke bolt for the basket is plastichrome. likely HDPE, chrome plated to look like metal. How low can you go? I can use it, but not for much. Dont buy it. There are plenty of like-new used items of far better quality or shell out $20 and get a better one.

I was looking for a light weight snare stand at a economical cost and bought two of these stands. i use one on a practice kit and 1 for an extra stand to hold and display one of my high end snare drums.

It’s a pretty decent stand for the money. I like that it has a memory lock on it. It helps secure the stand. The basket is a little lighter than expected and the crank to tighten the snare to the stand is a little hard to move but it does the job.

I’m not sure how long this stand would last if I used it on my road kit but for my practice room it is perfect. I’m happy with this stand.

I bought this to replace an ageing gel wrist rest unit which Ive had for years. Unfortunately the ones being sold as gel these days tend to be easy wipe coatings along the top rather than the canvas coverings Im used to, so I thought Id give this memory foam version a test.

Im sorry to say its too hard and too narrow. It feels like my wrist is resting on a housebrick. If youre not used to using a wrist rest at all, this is undoubtedly an improvement over the sharp front edge of a desk, but if you want more comfort, look at gel alternatives.

I must also make a comment about the packaging it comes in a blister pack thats glued to the backing cardboard, which makes it impossible to open without destroying the packaging in the process. This means its impossible to exercise ones rights to inspect the goods to determine suitability.

As a heavier handed computer user I was looking for a nongel wrist support after finding mousemats with inmade support too small and constricting of mouse movement for gaming, and gel wrist pads tending to leakburst after some months of use.

Enter this memory foam wrist supportInitially like some other reviewers I too was supprised at how hard and firm it felt at first. However it took me merely a day to appreciate it. The elevation stops the heel of my palm becoming red and sore from pressure upon the desk.

The firmness actually helps the product resume its shape after use. From my experiance the depression caused from use might go about 5mm deep but within 10 seconds of removing my armwrist the product visably returns to its original shape.

Futher more, while it does have a nonslip base I wasnt expecting much from this as Ive placed mine on a tablesized mousemat. To my surprise, it actually stays in place without slipping even on that.

This is a good quality wrist support, but thinner than what I expected despite the measurements being on the webpage. It is a firm but slightly soft wrist support,with a gelfoam material inside covered with a black fabric material.

The bottom has a nonslip material which works well it does not move. It is just bigger than a standard keyboard which is great, but it is thinner than what I expected, and is thinner at the ends. Sometimes it is difficult to imagine the size of an item, even if measurements are given.

Great value! Gives my wrists the support they need. I also love the little one for my mouse pad or number pad! What an added bonus!

Works as expected. My wrist actually feels much better now that I got and am using this and not rubbing on corner of table.

Using these with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 12. 0 speakers. They fit perfectly. Played around with the two piece design and found the best setup for angling the speakers slightly up. Hard to tell if they make a difference sonically but they will at least keep the bottom of the speakers and table scratch free.

Worth the price and recommended.

Bought a pair for my PreSonus Eris E3.5 and they fit flawlessly! Zero desk vibration, so these definitely get the job done. I absolutely recommend these if you have small studio monitors.

Really quality pads, sharp cuts, the cutout blends in perfectly if placed back to level and the foam is perfect, not too soft but not too firm. Perfectly fit my 3. 5″ ProSonus BT monitors. Philosophy of Quiet PCs/How To: The first step in a quiet pc is always the fans. Even expensive cases come with noisy fans. Super high volume fans are very noisy. And counter-intuitively, super high airflow does NOT make your PC run any cooler than moderate and unobstructed airflow.

You might want to read that previous sentence again. Noctua NF-S12B are the best of the best when it comes to silent airflow, 56. 9m3/h at 6. 9dBA is unbeatable. Sound bounces off hard surfaces. Open-cell foam captures sound waves, which is the basic principal behind acoustic dampening coverings.

Also, sound bounces off corners, so rounded corners are better than 90 degree angles. Apply this foam to all the flat surfaces of your case, cutting the foam so that it goes 1cm or so under your motherboard.

Make sure you also get the inside panel of the case that faces the CPU Cooler (cut around the window if you have one and want to maintain the pretty view). Sound bounces, so don’t forget to cover objects such as the back of your DVD.

After the case is lined, you can round off the corners: At the corners, mark off ~2cm above and below the corners, next you are going to want to place something in the corner like pencil or rolled up piece of foam (you want a curve, not a 90degree angle), then cut and apply a second layer of acoustic foam to round out corners.

If you bought quiet fans, your noisiest component is going to be your graphics card (or if water cooled, the pump). Most (air) CPU-Coolers are a standard size and can be fairly easily replaced, expensive CPU-Coolers usually have PWM fans with the speed controlled by the system board and low noise adapters included.

So double check whatever your fans are pointing at and make sure you have some foam covering everywhere you can.

Overall I find this product to be quite valuable and I plan to buy more in the future. It should be noted that if you bend or fold the foam, it WILL crack or shred. I strongly recommend practicing how to mold or shape it before installing it.

Believe me, it’s worth the sacrificed 2″ x 2″ section to preserve the integrity of the remaining sheet(s). Be 100% sure your measurements are BOTH correct and EASY to install– if you have to fold the foam to get it into a crevice (Like I did) the foam WILL leave some scarring.

If you make a mistake, and have to remove the foam, you will NOT be able to re-use the removed piece, as the foam peels away from the layer that directly touched the adhesive. You will have to scrape off the adhesive/foam leftovers, and I would recommend some cleaning solution to remove the sticky thereafter.

Just be sure that you don’t plan to remove it, and you’ll be fine. And the product is cheap enough to where mistakes aren’t necessarily catastrophic anyway. Just buy another pair, I plan to!.

I would recommend this foam product from Silverstone but beware of whether or not you will have a lot of fans in your case and how loud they are due to the RPM’s and the db’s that the fans will put out to give either a more silent case or if you will still have noise depending on the fans output.

I would suggest to anyone to do your research and read the reviews and make up your mind whether or not it would help you. I would buy the foam again to do my other computers. Great product and for me every little bit helps in controlling the amount of noise from the computer.

These really do the job beautifully and look great. I’m not sure I like the new ‘pointed’ design as much as the previous ‘flat-nosed’ version, and these are also a lot more flexible, but they sound great.

I used the EZ-Stick Pro tabs to mount them for the first time, which are brilliant. Such a shame that EVERY time I’ve ordered from PMT they fail to despatch in time for their promised ‘Next Day’ delivery – this time I ordered at 1026, on a Monday, well before the 1500 cut off, and they still didn’t bother despatching until the Tuesday.

I’ve had my home project studio for about a year. A friend of mine interviewed me in my studio with his great video equipment for a project he was working on. When I watched the video I really noticed how “live” my room was.

I could hear a lot of echo/reverb in the video. I had been researching Auralex for a while and knew it was time to make my next studio upgrade. Friends, this stuff is amazing. I installed this kit in about an hour using command brand 3M velcro.

I noticed a difference in my studio immediately as each panel went up. Having a home studio it’s sometimes hard to know where to put your money to improve the quality of your sound, recording, and mixes.

Spending all day on the computer can wreak havoc on my hands and my wrists. I have a laptop and there is no where to rest my wrists at all. What that means is that my Carpal Tunnel can flair up much more easily because my wrists are always stiff and in motion.

The Fellowes Memory Foam Keyboard Palm Support gives me just that sort of place. It feels very soft and firm at the same time, if that is possible. When I lean on it is very supportive and gives but not so much that it doesn’t bounce back.

In fact, it reminds me of my ball chair. There is a lot of support and comfort with not a lot hard work on my part. The back side is sticky but not sticky to the touch. What I mean is is stays put when you place it and doesn’t move but doesn’t leave any sort of residue either.

This wrist rest is super cushy. It seems to be made of one of those gel-like substances. While I love the cushions on this pad, it isn?t the type of product that will work with every type of keyboard.

I mostly write on my laptop. When I have my computer set up on a solid device I can put it right before the laptop. In this instance my palms are not comforted as I type, but ultimately I can rest my hands there.

However, obviously whenever I move my laptop from this place I am outta luck. Instead we found a better fit with my husband?s computer. He was able to actually place the cushion on his keyboard. You?ll really want to keep in mind your particular keyboard before purchasing this keyboard pad.

I am on the computer daily and know the toll it can take on my palms and wrists each and every day. Within an hour, they start to ache because they haven’t had the right support. So when I tried the Fellowes Keyboard Pad, I was really amazed with how comfortable it was.

I was able to rest my palms on it easily, and even after hours of using it, both my palms and wrists didn’t ache like they usually do. The contoured shape made it easy to move my hands around the keyboard comfortably and the memory foam gave a nice padded support that fit to my palm shape.

i think it would be cool if these were offered in memory foam, AND had that gap running across the whole pad, like down the center. or if they were to put a 1/2 inch gap, one every 2 inches, across the pad to add for comfort of both hands.

other than that, i like them a lot. i REALLY LOVE that you can stack them, as my laptop cooling fan is kinda tall, so i have to have 2-3 wrist pads stacked atop one another to reach the desired height above the keys.

the pads have not moved once while i typed this entire review, and i can not tell you how nice that is. i wish the seller had them in black, or red. but, perhaps, the blue, or perhaps purple–i am color blind–is the only colors they are manufactured in; happens sometimes.

perfect size and height for my 87 key mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse at the same time. No need for extra mouse wrist rest pad.

Be aware that the product you will recieve is NOT the product pictured. The product being shipped does not have the dense bitumen type layer shown in the picture. Additionally, it measures 7/8 of an inch thick , which is 1/16th of an inch LESS than the diameter of a quarter.

The darker high density layer which in the picture is thicker than the Liberty lettering on the quarter is missing. The product being shipped is 7/8 th inch acoustic foam only, without any high density damping layer whatsoever I talked at length with several Parts Express representatives who all said that what is being shipped looks to them to be identical to the picture.

They offered to refund my money, but the return shipping cost would be a significant because of the bulk of the package. I said that what was most important to me was that they either put an accurate photo of the product being shipped, or at least revise the description to state that the product does not have the high density layer depicted in the photo.

I was told that they would take my issue “under advisement. ” Since a month has passed and no changes have been made in the listing I am reluctantly posting this review so that other customers will not make the same mistake I did.

In my 5 years as a customer, this is the first negative experience i have had with Parts Express. I think they are a great company and have had many positive experiences with them. I post this in the hope that it will lead to the photo or description being changed to accurately reflect the product being shipped.

Note that my poor ratings of it are based on its worth as a acoustic foam-damping material. It probably is a perfectly fine as an acoustic foam only product.

Are use these on my electric F6 tower speakers, before I added the foam I added car sound deadening in the interior of the entire speaker. I then went ahead and added this foam in the entire interior of the speaker, the results are absolutely amazing, every aspect of the speaker changed sonically.

The high, mids and bass all gained clarity and even the soundstage improved. I am not kidding when I say that my speakers sound like completely different speakers. The towers feel like a solid piece of rock, they are incredibly solid and sturdy and not to mention the weight has gone up very very significantly.

These foam sheets are absolutely 100% worth the price they are asking, they transform your speakers in an incredible way. Don’t listen to the people that say they can barely notice a difference, that is absurd.

I can’t speak definitively toward this products impact on resonance because my designs have extra bracing trying to push resonance up into frequency ranges beyond hearing. However, I do have something to contribute related to reflections.

After finally finishing my design and fabrication of custom parallel Esoteric L/C/R front stage 3-way, dual woofer, dual mid, Canadian single RT true ribbon tweeter speakers I noticed a bit of reflection.

Each one has a medium application of Acousta-Stuf Polyfill. I could definitely hear the impact of having the waves bounce around the raw MDF inside. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I originally expected, but I could hear it as a subtle addition with certain frequencies in songs.

It was particularly evident with Metallica in general. After applying Sonic Barrier to just about every existing surface inside the cabinets the anomalies were either eliminated completely or reduced out of noticeable range.

I’d call that a success. I needed something to do this job and this product served the purpose. It’s 4/5 stars because the price puts it out of range of folks with extremely limited budgets trying to solve these problems in their larger projects.

I’d like to see the company drop the prices to be more reasonable in consideration of sheer size for people fitting this category. At the core of DIY is the fact many people are looking to solve problems where cash is short.

A professional grade product they can actually afford would probably turn this product into a defacto go-to solution, dramatically increasing its notoriety, appeal and ROI.

I purchased these for our office when the cheaper brand I was purchasing started to fall apart. They were a cheaper brand so I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true. They have so far stood up to our workload.

I ordered this mat for a none related car application but for what I got it for it worked great. I installed a new kitchen sink that was not insulated on the bottom and sound rather tinny when some thing like utensils were dropped in.

Boom mat was the answer. It worked great. A utility knife trim worked well in trimming. I didn’t get the roller because of the space limitations but it stuck to the sink with no problem. I think if this was used on an car interior a roller would work well.

As usual Summit delivered within a few days & the product was worth the price.

The Boom Mat is thick and works Great and easy to install, just make patterns for small or tight areas. The Web site says its a KIT but it is just the Mats. When I called customer service I was tolled it isn’t a kit and I should of called to verify that it was a kit.

They did make it right and send me the rest of the kit. They really made me think that I was wrong but the web site says Interior Kits.

Improvement was immediately noticed after install. The road noises and vibration have been minimized by an 85. I also liked the fact that they were super easy to apply; just peel and stick. I also recommend the Boom Mat Spray for those hard to reach areas.

I would off been nice to be able to add before and after photos. HOOAH! HOOAH is an Army thing.

I bought these pads somewhat on a whim. After many weeks of considering both minor and major ways to treat my bedroom studio space, and largely feeling overwhelmed, I settled on starting small. I’m super grateful I made that decision.

For something so seemingly basic I was honestly amazed and the immediate difference. By nature of my space I only have one wall I could put my desk on, and my monitors sit almost directly against that wall with a funky window.

The reflections off that wall (especially when sub bass was involved) resulted in a pretty muddy sound. After using the pads I can hear a resolution I haven’t had access to before. I’m still hoping to treat the walls of the room in the future, but the Auralex pads made a huge difference for me and my mixing has already improved.

Cost was very affordable and quality of product is just as advertised. Very pleased.

The cables are of a good quality, a good firm connection & zero disruption to your sound. The isolation pads are a must have, they do a job. Also the only time I’m happy to hear the word “isolation” in a sentence given current climates.

I have carpal tunnel and more painfully, severe thumb arthritis/joint deterioration. My job requires extensive keyboard and mouse use. Thankfully, I found this supportive wrist rest for keyboard and mouse.

It is a nice memory foam rest that makes my work less painful and lots more comfortable. I highly recommend this for comfort and prevention of carpal tunnel.

I’m only 21 and my doc told me I have arthritis. He suggested I start using one of those jelly filled mouse pads to support my wrists when I use the computer, so I got one. I don’t want to risk having carpel tunnel so it’s definitely worth it.

Takes a bit of getting used to, but hopefully it pays off!.

Mouse pad is really great, however the keyboard wrist rest is way too short for a standard keyboard unless your elbows bend the opposite of mine. A bargain?, well, not so much.

I ordered just one set of the black starter set, and I gotta say, I definitely am looking forward to ordering another. It’s a super easy process to assemble. It comes with screws and anchors that you may use to drill into the walls as well as adhesive tape so that you can just set up without tools.

I chose the adhesive and haven’t faced a problem yet! I’ve had them since March and I haven’t seen any signs of them losing grip. And what’s cool is that you can trade foams out and move them in whatever pattern you like once the brackets are mounted to the wall.

As far as quality goes it’s actually helped tone down the echo/reverb I get when I yell at the game or even when my dog comes to bark at me lol. If you are looking for quality as well as an aesthetic, then these are definitely a major choice.

I plan to buy another set when the blue becomes available.

Elgato was nice enough to send me some of these after I expressed some interest in them. I’ve been having issues with my cheap foam panels falling from the wall after trying many different mounting methods.

These panels solve the mounting issue with their robust bracket and mounting solution. Without any in depth testing I can tell that they do dampen echo in my stream room. The price point does seem quite high, but I believe this a case where you pay for convenience.

I live in a one bedroom apartment, these are perfect (and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes) as I make a lot of noise! 6is more than enough for this type of situation. Placement is very important too.

High quality foam with simple to put together brackets (literally 5 minutes) and strips to stick them in the desired location! The strip DO NOT leave marks on the walls, I’ve adjusted the position more than once and they’re great!.

I can’t recall exactly when I purchased this wrist rest, but it’s likely been at least a year. I work at my computer at least 8 hours a day and it still looks/feels like the day I bought it. I tend to rest my elbow on the desk and sit with my chin/head propped in my hand and it’s even been nice for resting my elbow when reading the screen and not needing to type.

Spills wipe off the foam portion well. The bottom is tougher when it comes to cleaning off crumbs/dog hair, but I’ve found a paper towel sprayed down well with window cleaner works decently well. Definitely recommend – I need to look if they carry a similar product to use as a mouse rest.

I’ve been looking for a “taller” wrist rest. I use a mechanical keyboard that is thicker than many standard keyboards, and requires a correspondingly elevated wrist rest. The product dimensions state that the height is 1.

2 inches. In actuality, the wrist rest from desktop to the highest point is about 3/4 of an inch. It’s not worth the hassle of returning it, but I hope this serves as a warning to those looking at this for the height measurement.

Bought this writs pad when my gel pad finally gave out. This new pad has good support and comfort – it’s not too soft but not too firm. I’m on the computer all day and this seems to work quite well so far.

The two separate pads are a bit odd at first but it seems to work well, especially if you have a keyboard and separate mouse.

Overall my whole experience buying my studio equipment including this foam was amazing and exciting. I can honestly say I don’t have anything negative to say about any of my equipment. I like everything really.

Anybody reading this let me just clear things up. i’ve been trying to treat my studio forever, now finally having the money i did so. i bought 4 boxes of these and probably didn’t need as much but its better safe then sorry.

i used 1 box in my control room and 2 boxes in my recording booth. does a great job and after putting around 10 of them in the control room i already noticed a difference instantly. once i clapped all the fluttered echo was gone.

i put to much up noticing that i had no highs at all in my recordings so i took alot of them down and just left enough to not make the room dead, but to make sure the highs werent bouncing around in there! Nowwww.

for people saying these don’t work, or people thinking they can just post this up and bingo everything is fixed. NOT EVEN CLOSE!. these just work on the high end of the frequency chart that is it. if you want to treat your control room and even a booth your gonna need some bass traps NOT MADE FROM FOAM.

it needs to be made out of insulation material like mineral wool, or fiberwood. something dense enough to capture the power of the low end. so if you are buying this, i would advise buying atleast 8 bass traps first and then see what else you need.

get your bass handeled first and then all you’ll need of this stuff is maybe a box or two. nice heavy duty foam. it’s 2 inchs but not really. the ridges go up to about 2 inchs but the base of the foam is only about 1/2 a inch.

does not come with the spray or anything all that is seperate. i just put 4 little pieces of velcrow on the back and stuck it to the wall so i can take it down and move it around easy. also helps give a little space in the back of the foam to help catch some frequencies as well.

i mean its foam. its a nice solid piece of foam that doesn’t feel cheap and easy to cut and looks good!. for what it does it works like it should and is cheap. Can’t beat the price for value. just read what i put below and you’ll know when you need it.

if you just buy it thinking it will solve everything your going to be really disappointed like some of the other people that left bad reviews on this product.

This thing works. It’s very comfortable to rest my wrists on it as I type and work at the computer. without it, I was getting soreness and fatigue.

This wrist rest pad is more than a half inch think and very gel-like soft. The fabric on top feels warm and perfect. No sticking, no over-heating. Fairly inexpensive and does the job. Thank you, Walmart!.
