20 Best Flooring For Screened Porch (2023 Updated)

These are great. I looked at reviews for weeks before I settled in on a choice. Some of the reviews people having difficulty snapping them together. Those people got in a hurry and really didn’t l look at what they were doing.

I use them all over the place. They look great by the front door and then a few under the coffee table one or two under the plants. You will have to take time and clean them, they catch all the dog hair and dirt.

You will have to do some staining in the future, may be once a year if there out in the elemental. They are super tough not one has broken and I’ve taken apart a bunch looking for the right look. Put them by the door with lots of traffic and no damage but will have to put a little stain soon.

So if your thing about something like this , GET IT!!!.

These tiles are perfect for my patio! And I love that the treatment that they have makes them a little bit darker than the competitors teak. The contrast is insane with my turf. (Will post updates pictures later) Easy to install.

Feels good to walk and lay on. Overall, VERY happy with this even though I’m not done laying them all out lol As for the missing star: My “but†in the title comes from the price. I selected these because of the value which when placed on my wish list was $48.

99. unfortunately due to corona I have to buy piece by piece for I needed 16 total. I only have 5 and the price has miraculously jumped to $67?!? WHAT?!?! I wish I never started because then I would have chosen a Supplier whose price has been stagnant.

This is a bit frustrating during this time where I was looking to enhance on a STRICT budget. Now. I might have to improvise. Other than that shipped at a decent rate, arrived perfectly, easy to use, and are great quality.

I read a lot of the reviews and saw it was hard to put together so I was prepared. I used a flathead screwdriver and was able to successfully snap the pieces into place in about 20 minutes. Not easier to do and my fingers hurt but it’s looking nice over my porch where I had cracked cement.

Very nice tiles – would not say they are fully weather resistant as advertised though, I have had mine for a year through rain/snow and the paint has almost fully faded.

These worked out really well in front of our hot tub on top of the cement pad. Very easy to click together. I don’t think they would work as well on uneven surfaces.

I love the look.of the Deck Tile on the patio. The I only reason I did not.give it 5 stars…the gray looks more like the color black.

We originally purchased these tiles as renters three years ago, for our apartment patio. They are incredibly easy to install, and have held up very well in the Florida humidity. Flash forward to moving into our first house, and we have a huge patio, that had ugly tile / concrete.

So, we purchased additional tiles to cover the space. The old tiles were in great shape, so we just mixed in the new tiles. You really can’t even tell a difference in color. Overall, very good quality, super easy installation (especially if you don’t want to fuss with grout / mortar) and really easy maintenance.

We use a squirt on wood floor cleaner to clean them about once a month, and that’s really it. We get a ton of compliments all the time, and they really transformed the space. Love Love Love!.

Love these tiles, theyre super easy to put together and can be put in different orienations. I love the dark grey but I had one major problem that I didn’t consider until afterwards. I have a top floor patio that gets A LOT of morning sun, the tiles get too hot during the day for me to be able to walk on it comfortably barefoot.

It almost burns my feet. Just something to take into consideration.

Honestly at first it looks so nice and easy to install but once the weather start to get cold and rainy, the wood start to damage and to change the color. I can’t return it because I lost the recipe and they told me you should read this on the website that you should put inside in winter.

How come something outdoor to damage when it’s raining, and it’s so hard that every winter to remove it. I am very disapointed that Ikea is selling something with this quality. I wish I can return it and get my money back.

Haven’t installed it permanently yet. Too many other projects happening in my world. It was Purchased for a front balcony remodel. I did lay it on top of the carpet in the media room. I wanted to get an idea of patterns to use.

It was easy to put together. Of course. I did not have any cuts in this trail process. Ver pleased with quality and the flooring looks great. I’ve kept it down for a while. It gives the media room a great floor accent, almost like an area rug.

Absolutely love these interlocking deck tiles! They were simple and easy to put together & with having someone by your side to help, it was even faster. Not many tools were required to get the job done and doing yourself cost a lot less than hiring a professional.

I have a very small deck area that needed an update and these tiles gave it a woodsy/cabin like feel. The texture is smooth and beautifully designed. So far I’ve no scratches on the surface and it withstood a heavy rain storm and held up extremely well with no damage.

I’m impressed and love the new look.

These are beautiful for about a year. In WA, with our weather, it ruins them very quickly. Either put these away in winter, or maybe try putting some kind of sealer or clear coat on them before install.

Otherwise the existing coating comes off and you’re left with a deck that looks like it was made out of old gray fence board. Wish they would’ve lasted.

We installed the dark grey runnen flooring last summer on our screened in porch floor. In less than an hour our floor was transformed from drab to stunning! After one winter, it still looks like a new floor.

I recently purchased 7 boxes of Runnen Tiles and They look finished and feel great on feet. They are easy to layout and fit together well. I chose the dark grey packages and I love them. They are now down and perfect.

I have placed a rug and outdoor furnishings on them. I need tiles to prevent de-lamination of concrete balcony.

Interlocking deck tiles are expensive so I was so happy to find these, as the price is affordable. However, they were not easy to snap together. I had different deck tiles previously, more expensive ones, and they were so easy to snap together.

These ones are not as simply made and I had a frustrating time getting them together. But they looked great once they were on. Unfortunately, the color was gone after ONE winter. The second year some of them were getting moldy, and a few fell apart.

This summer, the third one, they were beyond dilapidated and they are completely falling apart. So I’ll be throwing them out this year. I would expect these to last 5 years at least, not 3! (If I’d had the money I would actually have replaced them after the second year.

) Very disappointing. I won’t be able to afford new tiles next year, so I guess it will be back to concrete. I should have saved my money and put it towards the more expensive tiles.

The idea and look are wonderful. However, there were a considerable number of individual plastic tiles that the screws had stripped out or were not aligned to where the screws don’t hold.

These tiles give my gazebo a whole new look. Gives a warm atmosphere.

I think it’s great, easy to clean, easy to install, looks great.

Tiles snap-in easily and quickly. It looks really nice. After using water sealant on it, it looks better and will last a while. Wood is a bit soft so if you have furniture/chairs with edges on the feet, it will mark up the wood.

Putting felt stickers at the bottoms marginally helped.

I purchased this less than a month ago for a covered balcony. Besides the fact that cutting it results in it pretty much falling apart from the plastic substrate, its fading after one month of being outside, in a covered area.

I’m pretty experienced at DIY. cutting this with any tool (power or regular saw) is a real task. I ended up throwing several squares away because they fell apart while being cut. I really wanted the plastic decking but that was all sold out.

Hindsight being 20/20, I should have gone without decking outside for this year and did it next year. It looked really nice for the week it was outside before starting to fade. If you can install it without having to cut any pieces, it’s a cinch and could be done in minutes.

My 36 sq ft balcony took hours and I had to install a frame around the edges that were falling apart after being cut.

Bought Runnen tiles for 525 sq ft balcony and installed them last fall (2018). They didn’t last the winter. It’s six months later and many of the tiles have warped and/or broken off from the plastic substrate and are sticking up (heaved).

These tiles should not be recommended for outdoor use at all. It’s false advertising. Product Services said that it’s not a quality issue and I should have taken the tiles up for the winter. I’m supposed to take up 525 sq ft of decking every fall and reinstall it every spring?!? Fine print says the decking shouldn’t be left out more than necessary, whatever that means.

They are sold as exterior decking tiles! Do not buy Runnen tiles.

A couple of years ago, I made an in-store purchase of a group of these to cover our concrete front porch. The function has been good and I’ve received several compliments from visitors.

This time I ordered from Max Whs for delivery. Although the product is the same, these arrived with a lot of breakage in the plastic grids which essentially hold each tile together. About 20% of them, basically those on the outsides of each 6 pack, had some level of breakage and therefore had to go in the cut/trim pile.

Am happy with product overall but the packaging could be done much better to prevent damage during shipping & handling.

I bought some a couple of years ago and gave them a 5 star. Just bought more for another deck and used 2 packs left over from previous deck. Wouldn’t you know it they don’t match. The colour is off a bit which can happen and you live with that but the biggest problem is that the old ones have three connectors on each side and the new packs have 4 connectors on each side.

Won’t connect no matter what you do. Also be ware that the old packs came with 10 tiles and the new packs only have 6 tiles. Needless to say I went by how many packs of ten I needed to do the job and when I got to installing them I was way short of the amount I needed.

Back to the store I have to go.

You’ll need a very level platform/deck to get a good result with these tiles. Tiles are easy to cut and install. I bought 96 tiles, three of which I put aside because of surface imperfections. I then used these tiles in spots that needed to be cut or weren’t noticeable.

Also you will find the odd plank that doesn’t fit as snugly in the tile as the rest, and wants to slide a little bit when you step on it the right way. Hard to notice this until you’re done. Might want to have some woodscrews handy to solve this problem.

All in all I am pretty happy with the results but I do feel this product is slightly over priced. If you could get these tiles on sale for $4. 50 or less, I’d say 5 stars. But at 5. 70, I rate the tiles 3.

This really is just what we needed. I bought it for my daughter to put a mini fridge on her carpeted bedroom floor. It’s working great.

Before ordering, I had read the reviews of other buyers. The product is in accordance with the notices left. Only 1 broken tile out of 40 received. I installed this product on my boat and the rendering is perfect.

Little trick, I filled with silicone the asperities where are the screws that hold the blades to prevent them from rusting with seawater.

Arrived sooner than expected. Easy to lay. Looks absolutely fantastic completely transformed the area.

I DID NOT LIKE: 1. purchased enough to tile my patio, but was shorted on the delivery. Called Walmart Customer Care she was told, No longer a stock item. the BEST we can do is refund the missing undelivered tiles.

Taking inventory of what I could actually tile in the patio, I returned the entire order and bought BETTER tiles at Home Depot. 2. The interlocking tabs on each side of the tiles were POORLY MADE. The few tiles I tried out did not CLICK AND LOCK securely.

I DID LIKE: 1. The eucalyptus wood the slates were made from.

These deck tiles are wonderful. I got a set so I could have steps in my gravel, but now I am doing my whole patio. My husband wants to get more for outside of our tent for when we go camping. The uses for these tiles are endless.

They are solid wood with a plastic backing that snaps the tiles together. No tools needed. They are beautiful and functional. I can’t wait to get more!.

I didn’t have to worry that the huge raised crack in my patio would make these not a great choice. The tiles are flexible along the spaces between the slats and covered the crack beautifully. Though if you step on the crack there’s a bit of movement, it’s still perfectly safe.

If I care I can grind that down someday. These tiles are super easy to lay and pre-oiled which cuts out a labor-intensive step. I am guessing they should be cleaned and oiled/wiped periodically – when they start to absorb water or start to lose their coloring.

Beautiful, affordable solution!Update 12/13/20 – In September, the plastic under many of them became very brittle and broke and the wood doesn’t look too happy. I replaced them with high-quality Deckwise Ipe tiles.

Luckily I only had 100 square feet of the stuff. They served a very short-term purpose – I would not recommend.

I love the way these have changed my little back patio. I need to get several more boxes to finish but so far it has been a couple of hours project that looks fantastic.
