Our entire project was 903 sq ft. My wife and I started at 7am sweeping the entire floor and making sure it was free of all debris, then we started laying down the tiles. I stayed on the floor with my rubber mallet as she would feed me the tiles.
We completed the project at 12:30pm. A total of 5 1/2 hours and could not be happier. We decided to use these tiles since they are approved for jack use and we did not want the hard glossy plastic. Plus, after reading the reviews about the hard plastic being noisy and to help buffer the noise, people need to lay an underlayment down, by the time you add that additional cost to the project, you might as well buy these that don’t require an underlayment and they are very quiet.
And, ours has already been wet and they are not slick at all! In our previous home we went the epoxy paint route. and although it held up nicely it was extremely time consuming to apply. You had to rent a diamond cutter buffer to scuff the floor before you rolled the epoxy on.
And then you could not park on it for 7 days! We are super pleased with this product and already getting complements from the neighbors. This is well worth the money.
In my opinion, this is an expensive product $2. 5K for a 2 car garage. These tiles look really good in the garage and makes a nice uniform look. Covered up that old ugly flaking painted concrete floor.
However, this coin flex flooring is pretty hard to keep clean. Specifically getting the tire marks off the light gray tiles. WD-40 seems to work the best. For installation, I HIGHLY recommend using a table saw to cut them.
Because of the thickness of the tiles, it is almost impossible to use a utility knife to cut these while keeping the cuts straight. Additionally, I had issues with getting sent some wrong tiles, so I had to wait an extra week to complete the floor until I received the replacement back tiles.
The customer service I received was pretty good. Overall, I am happy with the flooring. If the price was a little lower I would have given 5 stars.
Like many others, I considered using epoxy on my garage floor but after reading many reviews, I went with these Nitro tiles. The prep for epoxy and no real guarantee that it would hold up for years made the tiles look like a much better option.
My garage is about 22′ x 24′ and using the design tool, there was no waste and I didn’t come up short on tiles. I recommend using a table saw if you have one for cutting. I can’t imagine having to do the job with a razor knife, you will need one for some cuts.
A rubber mallet is a must and knee pads as you will be on them moving around setting the tiles. I had to cut around a couple of posts and also used the ramps for the garage entrances. There was some discoloration in the black tiles from being stacked.
Hope that comes out after cleaning. Shipping was a bit delayed but there was a mix up with my phone number. Overall, the tiles look really nice and I’m happy with the project.

I used a concrete sealer underneath. Used a large rubber mallet to lock tiles, it was easier for me than stepping on them. Watched a couple of videos and read instructions, very easy to install and to break apart when I made mistakes.
Used a Rockwell cutter(small circular saw) to trim tiles. Small tabs on the edges made it difficult to line up edges on the compound mitre saw, cutter worked much better. You will probably notice the wall lines and concrete work in your garage are neither very straight nor very square.
Took 2 days to install 700sf including trimming, cutting and the time it took to move all my garbage back and forth around in the garage. Side point: Used RaceDeck sticky back diamond finish tiles for a raised step.
These have a shiny finish that looks amazing and doesn’t show the dirt as bad. Wish I could have used these instead, but the concrete underneath must be VERY flat with no expansion joints, seams, or raised areas.

it was costly to ship this flooring. We paid $150 to have it shipped which was irritating at best. – Clicking noise: when you walk on this flooring, it makes a clicking noise almost like someone wearing high heels.

I did a lot of research on the various choices for garage flooring. I considered solid PVC rolls. Although the least expensive, these rolls are very heavy, trimming could be tricky, and water cannot escape from underneath.
Also considered the rigid polypropylene plastic tiles. I didn’t like the 1/2″ thickness, they tend to noisy when walking on and can be difficult to disconnect. These Norsk flexible PVC tiles seemed to be the best choice for me.
I liked that they were 18″ square as opposed to the 12″ polypropylene tiles. They will allow water to drain out, although they are not designed to handle large amounts of water. They fit together easily forming a nice tight fit.
Each of the tiles four edges are identical making for much less waste when trimming edges. They cut easily with a good sharp carpenters knife and metal square or straightedge. The raised diamond pattern tile is unique from the other Norsk tiles in that it has a shiny durable finish so the tiles do not mark easily and debris does not stick to them.
Spills are easy to wipe up. The tiles fit together tightly and are flexible enough so that turning a car wheel on them will not cause the tiles to pop apart. I’ve had these tiles installed in my two car garage for about two months now and there are a few things that are worth noting.
First, although the graphite color looks nice and does not show any marks, it is difficult to see dark objects like bugs! I could have gone with the lighter gray color but it was considerable more expensive when I was ready to order.
Second, the unique raised diamond finish is very busy and is somewhat uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet. So wear shoes! Finally, and most important, is that the temperature of my garage is apparently affected by these tiles.
I live in Orlando, FL where daytime temperatures are in the 90s for a good part of the year. I ordered light gray and black for the color pattern of my garage floor. Expensive product and it looks nice when first installed. However, it is extremely hard to keep clean. If I was to do this purchase over again I would have got all dark color tiles.
As soon as you drive a car over the light color tiles, it leaves tire marks that are very hard to get off the floor. Also, the light color tiles where the tires rest on the floor are permanently discolored and don’t look very good only after 2 months.
Overall, the floor looks better than then ugly painted floor, but I expected more from this floor especially for the cost. As a note to others: WD-40 helps get most of the tire marks off the light color tiles (won’t get it all).
