20 Best Flip Flops For Water (2023 Updated)

Wow, it’s been awhile since I’ve purchased Reef sandals and these do not disappoint! Very comfy. Feel like butter! Love that they don’t look cheap or plastic. These are going to be a summer staple. They look great with a casual summer outfit.

Bonus that they are waterproof. These do not disappoint. Purchased my normal size (9), and the fit is perfect.

I was looking for a pair of lightweight/packable, waterproof, cute, easy-to-wash and quick dry, but most importantly COMFORTABLE shoes, and these hit all the marks. I’m a 38, so ordered an 8 and a 7 and ultimately went with the 7s, which I don’t regret.

I did get a bit of rubbing on the pinkie toes of my wide feet (it was 100F, or my feet were still swollen a bit from 18hrs of international travel) but nothing I wouldn’t expect with any other pair of sandals.

Highly recommend after 20 days of hoofing it around heat-wave Italy in these.

I bought these as a water shoes since they are water resistent, but I wear them as an everyday sandal with jeans, shorts and boho dresses. I liked them so much I got a pair for my DIL! Literally I can wear them all day with no pain! Occasionally, my foot begins to sweat in them.

A 5 minute break was all I needed to fix that! These are coming on vacation with me since they are so versatile!.

Where have you been all my life! I’ve tried many brands through my years (decades). These are made for my feet! I mean, really made for me that’s how comfortable they feel. I’m continuously looking for the best products for my needs.

These have made my journey of searching end when discovered. I’m very finicky when it comes to footwear especially sandals. It took about 3-4 uses to get use to them but, well worth it. They stand up very well in water and dirt/mud.

I even wear them in the snow for quick short walks with the dogs. I wear size 12 but have a little bit shorter toes by about 3-7%. Still look good! Material is great, comfortable, stylish, and durable.

I blow out flips all the time climbing, short sprints/jogs, chasing kids and dogs. They have held up and past my expectations. I really appreciate and respect companies that create products built with all around quality and style.

I bought these a half size down from what I usually wear because they were the only ones left in stock. They are a bit tight around the ankles, but generally fit pretty well. As river sandals, I’m not super wild about them.

Unlike open toe/heel sandals when mud, rocks, or sediment gets under your foot it gets trapped there. I’ve found it pretty much impossible to clear this out without taking off the sandal, which with it’s tight fitting heel is annoying.

And obviously it’s less than ideal if you’re out on the water. Where the sandal exceeds, however, is with its excellent traction and support. I hiked down a rocky beach trail with a 2 year old in a carrier on my back and had incredible grip on wet rocks and stability on uneven terrain.

I could see them being great for really wet hikes like Hawaii.

I have been wearing Crocs Swiftwater Fisherman sandals for years. Until they got discontinued. I like the toe guard and the fact that they are both leather and waterproof. So. when my brown pair’s strap broke I needed to find a suitable replacement.

A friend suggested I consider Keen. I was put off at first since they cost about twice the price as I paid for the Crocs sandals. but I really like the style and look of the sandal so I bought a brown pair.

Well, it didn’t take long to break them in so they and my feet became one. I put them on and leave them on all day and never feel like I am wearing a shoe or a sandal. Took them to Mexico last week and will be wearing them to Hawaii next week.

Love these things! So. I just bought the black pair. I only have one pair of feet. so I have no problem investing in shoes. or sandals that treat them like gold.

So I specifically bought these for a beach vacation so I would be certain to have a nice solid, comfortable, non-slip flip flop that I could confidently use by the pool and other wet areas. Turns out they are all those things with a caveat on the comfortable piece.

So they are very comfortable from a walking and foot soul point of view. Now, on day 2 I developed a huge blister on the top portion of my left foot where the center insert is that goes between your toes.

That was the end of the usability for the intents and purposes of the trip. I also didn’t over abuse the use in those two days so I was really taken by surprise by this. It’s the first time I’ve ever had an issue of this kind with a flip flop.

I like them overall so I will likely give them another go after full healing and see if they can work for use in shorter stints. Shame though, I thought they would be my new go to battle all terrain and circumstance flip flops.

I really liked the way these sandals look and feel and bought several pairs for me and my kids. Guess what?! They are shrinking awfully from the temperature that summer gives very generously! They shrinked size & half!!!! Not only if you leave them on the porch under the sun.

they are shrinking on your feet while you are walking! We bought some cheap sandals a long time ago in Hawaii and they are under scorching heat a lot and still the same, they haven’t even cracked. Perfect material for summer sandals.

These ones are absolutely unacceptable! Definitely not recommended! I will be very careful from now on with this brand. I do have other crocs brand sandals and they are wonderful. The Company needs to really check the quality of the materials they use so sandals will not melt away from the heat of the sun.

If my feet can handle the temperature – shoes must too!.

I had crocs flip flops years ago and loved them. I decided to try them again after wearing other brands. They are light weight and comfy but after wearing them 2-3 times now the front of the flip flop catches on the ground and has even caused the shoe to fold under my foot a couple times.

There is too much space at the front of the flip flop for me and I do not have short toes. I’ve never had a flip flop that didn’t fit my foot and I tried the smaller size but the heel was too short. It appears based on the markings on the shoe that my feet are exactly where the shoe is designed for them to be, but they just keep catching on things.

I’ve stopped wearing them. Unfortunately this started happening after it was too late to return.

I’ve had my share of hiking sandals but none felt like sandals, just heavy vented shoes. I think my problem was buying hiking sandals from hiking shoe companies and not looking at sandal companies for hiking sandals.

My last pair (Keen), trapped rocks in the sandals, the sandals was so difficult to put on that I would suffer with the rocks under my foot rather than try to remove the sandals and put them back on. Most of my sandals have last 2-3 hikes before I gave up on them.

Not this Teva. I’ve worn the Hurricane XLT2 Teva on 4 hikes already and I’ve had zero issues. They feel like sandals and the sole has plenty of support and protection from the terrain. I’ve yet to stub my toe which was a big concern.

I’m in between sizes so got a size above per recommendation. When I got the sandals I was really worried it was too big but with three adjustable straps, it was never an issue. I slid my foot as far forward as possible and strapped down the heel strap so my foot wouldn’t slide and it hasn’t.

Another concern was the plastic triangle holding the straps was hitting a knuckle when I tried it on. But once on the trail it wasn’t an issue and I totally forgot about it. I’m really happy with this purchase.

I had been looking at this sandals for some time but they always sold out. If this one ever ware out, I’ll purchase the exact same one. No more shopping around.

It’s a shame – this product would easily be 5 stars if you could only adjust the front strap. Really poor design flaw. I guess I have “thin” feet up front because there’s about half an inch of space between my skin and the front strap (and I’m a 6′, 240lb weightlifter for context).

I saw another review say that the pre-adjusted strap is too tight. I understand that the single ankle strap is appealing for easy on-and-off but this is definitely at the expense of poor fit for many foot types.

I travel to Maine a lot and wouldn’t be able to wear these in the rocky water nor on light, rocky trails. With all of the extra space flopping around up front I would likely catch the front material on a rock and trip, and that’s what I bought these for, unfortunately.

I love TEVA’s products and this is a major miss! I would definitely recommend trying these on in person before ordering online. Bummer.

I love my Tevas. I am sorry to say, though, that the Velcro straps wear out and become unusable long before the sandal does. THe ends of the hook part of velcro break off. The hook and fiber parts both are magnets for all sorts of detritus: cat hair, bits of of wool from socks, grass seeds, fibers, etc.

It jams up the hook parts, making it not ‘hooky’ anymore. You can’t clean the velcro. Third problem is the cheap seam attaching the velcro to the strap is one light, cheap thread. It breaks easily and then the velcro separates from the strap.

The adhesive used to attach the velcro to the strap loosens up or breaks, making the velcro strap come off the strap. The glue used on the velcro is one or two drops, certainly not enough, or not good enough, to maintain the adhesion to the strap.

All in all, the velcro strap is pretty much useless. You should use a thread through buckle instead of velcro. because the velcro creates too many problems, I hesitate to recommend the Teva to a friend.

This was my first time buying any Keen footwear and I’m very impressed with the quality and comfort these flip flops provide. The footbed has the perfect balance of arch support, comfort, fit and the straps hug the top of my feet just enough so as to avoid any “toe-crunching” to keep the flip flop on like one has to do with cheap low quality flips flops.

The sole has an immense amount of traction so using them to walk in rugged terrain won’t be an in issue. Also, the rubber material is high quality and no doubt they’ll last me for years. Aesthetically they are very pleasing! I love the camo and the earth tones Keen used on this product.

Looking at it, either in person or online, the sandal speaks for itself, but once they’re on the feet the “put the icing on the cake”! I’m super-stoked to have invested the cash into such a high quality flip flop instead.

No regrets whatsoever. I’m definitely going to purchase another pair in the near future. TIP! Measure your foot with a tape and however big your foot is in inches (rounding up) is the same size you’ll need in Keen flip-flops.

They are true-to-size.

It pulls out, on all my flips. Keep a new dress pair and 5he worn beach pair. And new on standby!! I have had to find adequate glue to rejoin the several different sole compoents- repeatedly. The fabric of rhe toe.

string? Where it joins the overlooked sling to 5he sole Wears out too soon, and breaks. Also it pulls out w use, and I have had to re engineer , cut hole wider, sew in new ” flaps” ? And reglue in place.

Finding glue that bonds to the rubber well very difficult, and the sole prts separate, not glued throughout contact areas. PIA! GLUE construction 9f parts, fabric of toepiece and its connection pulling out the issue 8n sum.

My brand new dress black pulled out recently, and 5he fabric not glued or sufficient area to be secure. The soles should wer out before they start separating and the fabric attachment as well. Love 5hem still tho.

I’ve always envied the flip-flop wearing masses, who apparently had no nerve endings between their toes, who didn’t need arch support or a cushioned sole to be able to flip flip flip their way around all summer.

Thanks to these Kona flip flops, I can finally join the throngs of flippers and floppers traipsing about town and the beach and the resort with ease! Excellent footbed comfort — arch support, an ergonomic footbed and heal cup all keep my foot in place and as happy as can be.

And the toe post, usually my nemesis on any flip-flop, is so comfortable it’s like it’s not even there. From first wear, I could slide these on and flip my way around all day without another thought about my sandals.

This is a flip-flop miracle, in my world. Can’t wait to be able to take them on a resort vacation and wear them inside and out, day and night, beach to pool to bar to patio! Sizing caveat — I love that Keen does half sizes in sandals.

Too many other brands don’t bother — as if a person wants their flip-flops to function like flippers because they had to size up half a size. All the same, even with half sizing, I do classify the Kona as being a bit on the large size — call it “generous” rather than oversized.

If you’re a smaller fitting half size, maybe consider going down to the next size below. Or not — because even slightly generous in size, these are still the most comfortable flip-flop you will ever wear!.

I’m very happy with my new trekking sandals. I have wide feet and these sandals fit perfectly. If you have slim feet, I suggest the other trekking sandals Keen have in their collection. Trekk inn has a great size table in cm so I was able to get the perfect size for me.

I bought size 38. 5 which is 24. 1 cm. I normally wear size 38 but after seeing the size table, I decided to go up 1/2 size. Trekk Inn delivered the sandals in only 3 days from Spain to Denmark. The Price was also very good.

So I can highly recommend the company.

I bought this size eu40 1/2 as a birthday gift for my sister, she really likes tie and dye and also wishing for this sandal for a long time. she really likes it and according to her the sizing fits her well although usually she wears size eu41 or 42.

but we take the 40 1/2 from the sizing recommendation by tradeinn. I have used keen whisper since 3 years ago, so in terms of comfort and quality, i am choosing Keen for its quality and durability.

I had these in brown already and found the black ones at a great price. They fit true to size and can be easily adjusted to accommodate many foot shapes with the bungee cord on the top part of the shoe.

They stay on very well and are really comfortable. There is a brief ?breaking in? period with these as with any shoe. They are great for every day wear and also transition well into more active situations.

The older pair has had heavy use and has held up beautifully. I love these sandals!.

I have long been an advocate of minimalist shoes–zero drop, flexible, minimal support. But, recently I started experiencing plantar fasciitis, a painful heel condition. I was taking a trip and could tell the thin sole was not going to work for me as I walked any distance.

I found the cushier sole much more comfortable for me, and I wore them in and out of the salt water and canoe daily. Once on a long walk through a sandy area, I developed a blister with the sand rubbing between my foot and the strap, but that would probably happen with any sandal.

And they did develop a pretty bad odor at times. Fortunately, they were easy to wash and dried relatively quickly, so that was an easy fix. I still believe in the more “natural” shoe concept, but for now, this shoe has worked well for me.

I also like the extreme flexibility of having three adjustable straps that the velcro then firmly holds in place.

I picked up these sandals to serve as my water shoes on a recent trip canoeing in the Boundary Waters. I was nervous about their ability to workout for portaging the canoe, but another camper who had done it before assured me it would be fine.

And wouldn’t you know it, it was! I didn’t buy these in advance enough to fully get used to where the straps land, but despite that (and after spending a while adjusting them), I only got a couple small blisters right at the end of the trip.

This was with constantly getting in and out of water and hiking bags or canoes through portages. I never felt like my feet got specifically tired because of my shoes. They stayed decently anchored even when trying to take big steps in water, or when my feet got stuck in deep mud.

They felt decently secure over wet surfaces and rocks (I didn’t slip any more than anyone else, at least. ) I’m looking forward to continuing to use these a lot at home as they look pretty nice, and they’ll probably be my go-to water shoes for most things going forward.

I was in desperate need after my other beloved brand flipped their last flop. I ordered two pairs on Amazon to start (just because I thought I could do a quick and easy return if they didn’t fit), and to my surprise–these fit very LARGE–and I have huge feet (I’m a 9.

5 wide in most shoes). I ordered a size 9 and they were huge! So I returned for size 8, and they were perfect! I was so excited to have waterproof flip flops (we live on a lake in SC and it rains here a lot, too) that I ordered duplicate colors and the adobe, as well.

The little ridges feel like a massage each time you walk, and there is zero rubbing between your toes. Great cushion, nothing distracting in the design, the perfect go-with-everything sandal. Arch support for days–happy feet here! Buy these, but size down! Woot!.

These flip flops hug the foot rather nicely. Has fair arch support, could use more for us higher arches. They run a little long at the toes, as I compared them with other pairs of Reefs I own. Looking forward to wearing them at the beach.

I am not much of a flipflop wearer but I do like these. For flipflops, they have decent arch support and don’t hurt my feet after walking in them. They do get a little slippery when wet, but dry fast.

I also have wide feet and these worked well.

I’d had my eye on these sandals for my 2-year old for quite some time, and finally purchased during the 30% off sale, so I got them at a great price! They are perfect for an on-the-go toddler and are even compliant with daycare shoe guidelines.

They’re super lightweight and the style is great, goes with everything! We use them daily, but they’re also perfect water shoes. I’m considering purchasing in White too!.

I bought the Adidas water sandals for my toddler this July to take him to the water park. The water park is notoriously slippery. These water shoes were great. The grip was awesome and the little holes in the soles of the sandals kept his feet dryer than ones without them.

Overall great buy.

My son wore it yesterday for the first time at a park with sprinklers. He was having a great time while wearing these. Love how it’s closed in the front and stylish! very adorable and would totally recommend! Fits perfectly on his tiny feet.

Definitely pricier than Amazon’s alternatives, but those will break in two hardcore trips. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve had and they’re all terrain for tropical climates (sand, rocks, reefs, you name it).

Of course they’re not completely closed, and some smaller rocks will get in. Try not to get sand in between the fabric of the shoe and your feet, because they’re going to get chafed (sometimes I wear a sock).

Even with it’s disadvantages, this is my go-to for tour work. I’m looking for a second pair in another style.

A Keen for thru-hikers that doesn’t feel like a tank. I have been wearing Newport H2’s for thousands of miles but they are heavy by today’s standards (men’s 9 was 15. 1oz/shoe) and the sew quality has tanked in recent years (READ: they suck and don’t last, expect to repair early).

I can’t wear the CNX’s with a pack because they are too minimal and don’t offer enough protection and support. Regardless, a decent lightweight off-road runner comes in at 12oz or less (think, Altra’s of the world).

These SOLR’s come in at 11. 6oz/shoe. Lighter than the H2’s but beefier then the CNXs. Very comfortable, true to size, and fit a thin runner sock and/or neoprenes for when it gets cold and wet. For those who don’t understand the impact of weight, or for those trying to reduce their load, work on the weight on your feet.

Weight on your feet is analogous (nearly) to the MOI (moment of inertia) on a bike wheel–the reason weight on a hub is irrelevant compared to the same weight on the rim. The reason cyclists/triathletes, and thru-hikers [should be], more concerned about weight on their feet is because it is the equivalent of ~5x’s that on your pack.

I refer you to the study done by the military decades ago and others more recently. 1 oz off your foot is ~5oz off your pack. Do the math. 1 oz X 5 oz, X ~2,112 steps per mile, equals 660 pounds–per mile! PER SHOE! Now do the math for a quarter pound on one foot.

You get the idea. I only have one grip. Keen if you are listening, the slight reduction in arch support (compared to the H2) is noticed. Please add a bit more arch support (i. e. height) so that it is at least the equivalent of the H2.

I wanted a secure, good looking sandal that bridged the gap between my super functional (but ugly) keen water sandals and my fashionable (but not waterproof) Birkenstocks. These Sandals fit the bill and now are by go-to open toe shoe.

They are super comfortable for someone with flat feet like me (no intrusive arch to give me blisters!). They just feel good on my feet! The soles are grippy and they hold secure in running streams and rivers.

They stay securely attached to my feet with the heel strap, even when running. The only fit critique is that since they are open toe (unlike my closed toe keens) they can pull the toe area down when walking up stream, and so they are not quite as easy to swim in.

If you want a shoe for that, you’d probably get the Astral PFD instead of the Webber anyway. Finally, they are decent looking sandals and I’ve gotten a number of positive comments about them when wearing them on the street.

Their versitility, ruggedness, and style make them a great travel shoe. I think Astral has a real winner here. Sizing: I was between sizes 11 and 12, so I sized up to 12.

Love love so much about this shoe, where to even begin? Amazing comfort, such great cushioning I can literally run to catch a train in these. Good tread, no rubbing or pulling anywhere, straps are comfortable.

My only issue is that the straps tend to loosen a bit as you are wearing them. It’s a design flaw that I hope they’ll fix for next time around (and the reason I only gave 4 stars). Still wearable, just not 100% perfect.

Bought these in white for a trip as water shoes but have been wearing them around the city every day- very cute. Highly recommend.

These sandals are great in the water and on land. Very comfortable and grippy. The white looks great, however, my only complaint is when I wear them in the river they get dirty very easily and it’s tough to get them clean again.

So beware if you want white but have frequent adventures in a river.

Absolutely love the vans brand, this is my first pair of sliders and I absolutely love them, comfy padded upper when wearing them all day. Stylish and comfy, what more could you ask for.

These are so comfy I wear them as slippers when cleaning around the house. These never gave me blisters, unlike some other big brand slides I’ve owned before.

I’ll have to return those. Wore then inside for the last week and gives me pain on the outside of my feet. It also could use more cushioning.

I was a big fan of the previous version of these shoes, and – despite the reviews – had been hoping that these would be similar enough to replace the ones that are getting worn out since you don’t make the very comfortable previous version anymore.

Besides the arch support, the thing I’ve always loved about my Reefs was the material used to go between my toes. it was not rigid, and didn’t cause discomfort. I was dismayed to find that the new version has rubber (or some other type of plastic/silicone material) between the toes now, rather than the “ribbon-like” material of the previous versions (still used on the Gingers), which is pretty UNcomfortable.

Unfortunately, I hadn’t noticed this before I took the tags off the two pairs I bought, so I’m now stuck with them. PLEASE bring back the old Stargazer shoes. This is NOT an improvement and a lot of people feel the same way!.

I have these in two different colors which are the seafoam and black/bronze. These are two totally different flip flops. One positive is the colors/sparkle of both is beautiful. The seafoam reminds me of a mermaid.

Like other reviews said, they must have changed the way they make them because these are two totally different flip flops. The black/bronze sole is very hard and will take wearing them a lot really break them in.

The seafoam sole is softer and feels more like the cushion bounce that the title says. I had to wear the seafoam ones only once or twice to break them in. I found the seafoam ones to fit my feet better where the black/bronze ones are bigger.

I have a size 5 in each btw. The straps on each are the hard plastic. I found that this style with the plastic strap are not great for the beach because the sand and water rub against your skin causing blisters and redness.

These are more for going out and about or running errands. I love the sparkle of the black/bronze hence why I am willing to keep them and hope that wearing them will soften the flips flops up a bit. As I have said in past reviews, the black sole does get hot on your feet so you may not want to wear these are really hot days.

I hope REEF will remake these next year like the old cushion bounce style. The old style is more comfortable and smaller for a better fit. The colors and sparkle are beautiful though.

I just bought my second pair of these (in black). My first pair was also black, which I bought back in spring 2016, and one just broke today. They lasted almost 4 years with daily wear – I’ve literally worn them constantly.

I live in Florida so flip flop weather is all year basically. These are my favorite flip flops EVER. And that says a lot coming from someone whose relatively large shoe wardrobe consists of 90% flip flops.

They’re comfortable, durable and the glitter lasted the whole 4 years that I’ve had them. I’ll repurchase forever! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!.

The good: Thick soles have excellent support (I have high arches and these soles are SO comfortable) and great traction while still having good ground feel. Fat toe cap provides substantial protection from tripping, stubbed toes, and unexpected pointy things.

Easy to clean, just run some water over them and you’re good. The bad: Thick vertical stitching on the INSIDE of the heel straps was a TERRIBLE design decision — had to wrap in fresh moleskin or bandages for every hike, or else get blisters on the backs of my heels.

And now, a month outside of the warranty period, with maybe 80 miles on them total (I bought them last summer and I only wear them to hike in warm weather, I don’t wear them as casual shoes), the stitching on the inside is coming loose.

I discovered this at the end of a hike this weekend, when the tops of one foot came out bloody from the loose strings that had been rubbing against my skin for miles. The soles are so comfy that they make me want to try a different pair of Keen sandals with the same sole.

But I’m not sure whether to trust the brand with a second pair after the first started coming apart and ripping up my feet, with less than 100 miles on them.

I have owned a pair of KEEN men’s Newports for years. They are great for light hiking, wading, lake day, boating and more. Recently we purchased a boat, so I bought my wife a pair of these. First, she loved the fun colors.

It appears every pair might be unique (can’t say for certain, but hers don’t match the picture). She wears them for everyday shoes in the summer. They were great for a lake day a week ago. They fit securely on your feet so they don’t fall off when you wade in the water.

Here in North Texas, the soil burns your feet at the lake, so they are great for walking on the burning sand or asphalt at the boat ramp. The soles are sturdy and have good grip, so if the ground is uneven or slippery, these are great.

If these are the same build quality as mine, she will wear them for many years to come. I’ve had my Newports since 2017 or 2018, and they have endured some rugged terrain. We both love our KEEN Newports.

If you are in and out of the water a lot, these are awesome, but they are also great every day shoes for the summer.

After using other Astral products, I got these to use for a little bit of everything. Some canoeing, rafting, light hiking and use around town. They’ve been great. Perhaps the most comfortable sandal ever.

Astral’s zero drop chassis and lightweight and water friendly design perform perfectly. The G Rubber grip is what ya like (and need!) on wet rocks. Some reviews have complained about the footbed grip, but I’ve felt the star-like texture and toe ridge have been very comfortable and super helpful when scaling steep slopes, river banks and trails.

Extra kuddos for the ability to hook the back strap into itself and become a slide! And extra extra kuddos to Astral for making something lighter than Chaco with NO foot gunk build up on the insole!! Thank you!.

I just got these sandals and so far I am very satisfied. They are very comfortable and secure on your foot. they work great in the river, I’ve been whitewater rafting in them and they were awesome. i was worried that the buckle would dig into my foot when it was under the thwart, but this was not a problem at all.

we also had to walk our raft a ways up the river and the sandals were not slipping on the wet rocks at all. my only complaint was that i got a little gravel in them and i had to keep rinsing it out, but thats pretty normal with sandals anyway.

I also did some hiking and they were great. same excellent traction on the trail and they are a bit lighter than chacos. i really like how you can undo the heel strap and wear them as a slide. very nice around camp, especially when you have to get out of your tent in the middle of the night.

all in all I would say its a great shoe and if you like sandals on the river or in the backcountry you should try them.

These sandals are like a pricey German car — great as long as you are willing to deal with the quirks and issues. The issues: I had to order two sizes up because the footbed pushes the foot too far forward in the correct size; also what to do with the overhanging straps, two of which reach to the ground (?), and getting in and out of these is not quick and simple — not as simple as the usual velcro strap in the usual sandal for easy on and off.

The good news, like a fine German car — great ride, snug and tight, very comfortable, great lines and good looking. In short, it just depends how much you want to deal with. I’m keeping mine.

I’ve been eyeing Salt Water sandals for years! I tried their original sandal but they weren’t comfortable because of where my baby toe hit. I know a couple of moms who have these classic style slides and decided to finally get a pair.

OMG I love how they look! The tan is a great neutral for summer. The leather was stiff for the first day but broke in so easily and now they’re so comfy and soft. I only wish there was a bit more padding/cushioning/support as I find my heels get sore if I wear them walking too much.

I haven’t worn them in salt water yet but I’m sure they’ll be getting wet sometime this summer!.

Incredible sandals. They go with anything and slip on so easily. Once I wet them they’ve moulded to my feet and are even more comfortable. They’ll be perfect for camping or going to the beach this summer.

I’ve always wanted a pair of Salt Water Sandals, so when they went on sale this was my chance! They are perfect, cute lovely for the summer. Cute with shorts or a sundress! I’m a size 7. 5 and took the feedback to size to size 8 and they fit exact.

I have recently bought black Reef One Slide Sandals from SAIL and have absolutely loved them until they started stinking a few weeks ago. I have only had them from Aug 17, 2022 and recently discovered that upon them getting wet like walking through damp grass (dew) on my morning dog walks have left them reeking very sour like a vinegar or urine.

I have followed the care instructions and washed in warm water with detergent but the smell is not going away. I am not able to leave them anywhere near my other shoes, door mats or anywhere livable because you can smell them right away.

I’ve googled this issue and it appears it’s a common issue with Reef.

These slides are just the best. I’ve always been a flip flop person but when camping or going outside in the morning and I have socks on to stay warm, flip flops become like death traps ready to trip you flat on your face, especially if it’s 4am while camping and your bladder is full.

Back to these shoes— I’m typically a solid 10 to 10. 5 in shoes, medium width, I have semi narrow feet but high arches and slight bunion so I tend to fit in regular width shoes best. I got these in size 10 and they fit great.

There is no digging into my foot and they don’t slip around on my feet. The upper band is soft and slightly cushy which is what keeps the shoes well fitted to the foot and avoids slipping. The bottom is very cushy and comfortable on the bottom of the foot and to walk in, and the little light detailing on the floor bed gives it an even better grip to your foot so you’re not sliding out or off.

Great slides. I’m just so happy with these I’d buy them again if I had to :).

I purchased the exact same pair at boathouse, now I ordered 2 pairs from mec. They are the exact same sandles but they are now. Half a cm shorter and the band is much tighter. Something is totally off here, perhaps why it’s on clearance.

I doubled checked the size also. Personally I love the sandles but this maybe a bad batch.
