20 Best Flip Flops For Bunions (2023 Updated)

I received these sandals and was so excited when I tried them on. They are a hunter green and feel great on my feet, extremely comfortable! The fit is perfect in that they are not tight on the side or across the top where your big toe fits in.

I will definitely be ordering another pair!.

These sandals were comfortable right out of the box. They were true to size. The only thing stopping me from putting 5 stars is a small flaw in workmanship on one sandal (black from the sole is on top part of sandal near stiching.

If you like to wear sandals and need good arch support, I highly recommend these PowerStep sandals. I have flat feet and wear size 8- 8. 5 sneaker and purchased the size 9. The CS told me they run small.

They were right on. Fit is perfect. The sandals are comfortable. Affordable price and quick delivery.

I use Powerstep orthotics (the serious podiatrist-prescribed ones) for a disloated cuboid bone in my foot since last winter. My summer sandals–except my old Keens, of course–lack the arch support I now need, so I was hoping these Powerstep flipflops would provide the same kind of support my Powerstep orthotics do.

They are OK. but not as much arch support. And I have to size up because there are no 9. 5s, so the arch doesn’t come in quite the right place. Furthermore, the toe area is pretty narrow (I have wide feet) and my little toes hang over a bit.

For someone who doesn’t need a half size and has a narrow foot these would be OK but all-day use in the summer, for serious arch-orthotics users, is not so great–my foot hurt the next day, sadly.

I love these sandals. However, the fit is such that I am going to buy a men’s sandal next time. The fit is not right for my foot. I wear thongs all summer with a sturdy foot bed. I normally wear an 8.

5 in US and 39 in european. I have to buy a 10 in your product.

I would have given the originals a 10 star if I could have. I bought originals and when I went to buy additional colors you were selling tide II. 4 friends and family bought them after seeing mine. Well the sizing changed from the original tide and they no longer fit me.

(the instep was much larger on same size with no adjusment ) I sent them back. Tearfully. Let me explain I have type 2 diabetes with lymphadema. Skin on my feet is very thin. I blister easily. I still wear my original pair but they no longer look polished as they did for the 1st few years> PLEASE IF IT IS NOT BROKE < DONT TRY TO FIX IT> I now have the need for a adjustable instep strap, at least one strap or more.

TLDR: If your feet are not puffy, you will not enjoy walking around in these sandals. If your feet are puffy, these sandals will fit perfectly. The straps are not adjustable. \n\nI have a wide, size 9 foot.

I’m 5’7” and about 150 lbs (athletic build). My feet are neither puffy nor bony. \nThe footbed on these sandals are perfect in length and width. The arch support is perfect. \nBut as other reviewers have stated, the straps are too loose for a non-puffy-footed person.

If your feet are not puffy, your feet will slide completely out of the sandal as you’re walking – the straps make almost no contact with the top of your foot, they’re basically hovering about a 1/4-inch above the top of your foot as your standing.

\nWhile you’re walking, if they haven’t flown off your feet already, these flip-flops will slap really hard against the bottom of your foot (much harder than any other pair of flip-flops I’ve ever worn) when the straps eventually pull the footbeds toward your feet, because of the extra length of the straps – your feet are not snug in the sandal.

\nMy friend who also has size 9, wide, PUFFY feet (she’s about 250 lbs, not athletic, and has noticeably puffier feet) could NOT relate – she thought they were a perfect fit and the straps were a perfect looseness/tightness.

\nBottom line: the straps are too loose for most people (judging from the comments) and perfect for some.

I usually wear a WIDE in Vionics. The description online and on air states that it actually runs a bit wider than a medium. This is true. My previous Tide flip flop had its last flop. I saw this Tide II in the cutest Hot Pink and had to order.

It is perfect fit for my wide feet. They run true size in length as well. The reason I love this flip flop is because it keeps my lower back and neck in alignment to protect me on my house hard floors.

I am at an age that I have to have arch support while walking. I use these Tide II as my house slipper. Love that I am also able to go outside with no issues. I also have a pair for normal daily life out on the town.

They are cute enough to wear casually and with dresses for a day event. It seems like a lot of money for a flip flop but it is worth it!.

I thought these would be the answer to my problems. Had foot surgery and cannot wear heels and have many “special” functions coming up and thought these would do the trick. They are one of the prettiest “dressy” sandals I have ever seen.

Was so happy that Vionic was making dressier, in style, sandals. However, I could not get my feet into them. There’s absolutely no give in the leather strap at all. Had no problem with the glitter strap.

Vionic, I had the same problem with the Hadlie (as many other people did) with the stationary straps not moving at all. Vionic, please, please, please, rectify this! I’m so upset that I cannot wear these.

I purchased them in black, white/silver, and gold. I love the look and they deserve five stars for that, but adjusted the rating for overall.

Hi, without seeing the image I ordered the gold sandals and they are beautiful. I am a size 6, ordered a 6 and they fit perfect. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The gold colour is not brassy and the design of the sandal is slimline, looks very trendy but the Vionic technology is definitely present.

Although a flat sole my arch is lifted, as is often demonstrated by Keith and the models. So far have only worn indoors and they feel very comfortable. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my feet and a slightly higher instep on one foot.

I have experienced no problems with the straps or toe post cutting into my feet and the balls of my feet seem to be supported, actually don’t want to take them off. Thank you Keith for bringing these to QVC, more of this style please.

I normally cannot wear flats—no arch support and my slightly wide feet never fit into those dainty little things. These fit. Those reviewers with narrow feet are right—this is a slightly wider than average footbed, which makes it perfect for me.

If I could change one thing, I would add a tiny bit of stretch/elastic to the rear-most band to ease the break-in period. (Note that Vionic always recommends a break-in period to get used to the arch.

). I suspect they did not to make sure the shoes don’t slap on your feet like flip flops. Oh, they are really cute in person!.

I love these, I bought the black glitter pair last year. This year I bought the white and another pair of black glitter. The WHITE PAIR needs breaking in. I got blisters from the straps on the first day of wearing them, I am sure it won’t be that way for much longer, hopefully they break in soon.

The arch support is amazing and the sole is very comfortable. The Black glitter was perfect overall. I think its just because of the different materials used for the straps the black glitter is a cloth like strap and the white is a hard leather type material.

unfortunately i had to return this pair – the sole was not as comfortable as the regular reefs, while I appreciated the support and the curved toe there was not enough cushion. The strap ewas also in an awkward location- the front edge went over the knuckle of my big toe and was orbiting.

Not the same position as the usual cloth strap -and I was really looking forward to having the glitter : (.

Just got my second pair of the Ortho-spring flip slops. Love these as much as the first ones I purchased last year. Comfortable and I like the texture on the foot bed. And the black sparkle feels like it adds a little bling to a very comfy/casual shoe.

I love Muk-Luk slippers, but didn’t even know they made flip-flops till I saw these. They are really comfy and feel solid, not flimsy. I like the bumpiness of the surface, as it feels like a mini-massage on the soles of my feet.

I would have given them five stars except they reek of chemicals. Once they out-gas, I’m sure they’ll be fine. But, right now, they stink up whatever room they’re left in! I’ve got to remember to leave ’em on the porch!.

I love the way these looked but from the information in regard to sizing I chose a Med. I wear a size 7 and Med is a 7-8 and really way too big for my foot. They feel comfortable enough when I step on them.

I will give these to a friend with size 8 shoes as a gift.

These fit and feel great. BUT they give off a funky armpit smell that made my whole closet stink. After lifting them to my nose, I am confident it is the flip flops. I removed them and 2 days later, my closet smells normal again.

Finally, I have found a summer shoe that works with my bunion! I walk 2 miles daily and am careful that nothing hurts my feet! If the shoe rubs anywhere I don’t wear it! I bought this shoe in the neutral color.

The mesh is very soft but still keeps the shoe in place! It is adjustable and has good support under my high arch! This shoe looks nice and gives me another shoe option for summer! I bought this in a size eight which is what I wear in Vionic sandal.

I bought these at a shoe store that carries vionic shoes. I love these. Like walking on a cloud. Very comfortable, there adjustable with velcro to fit your own liking. I definitely will buy a few other pairs in different colors.

They run true to size. If your on the fence about ordering shoes online, don’t be be. Because these vionic sandals are a keeper. You could even wear these as slippers. You also can wear them around water, beach.

There mesh on top. No worries.

I purchased these as a “work shoe. ” I am a stay-at-home mom with three little ones, and realized that I needed to invest in a supportive shoe to wear around the house during the day. When I first tried these on, they felt noticeably heavy on my feet.

I am used to wearing lightweight foam/plastic flip flops around the house, so these were definitely heavier. However, I have grown accustomed to them, and I really don’t notice them anymore. I’ve been wearing these everyday for about two months and I love them.

They are very supportive. I put them on with wet feet out of the shower snd they seem to do fine with water. I am noticing that they do feel a little looser now than when I firs purchased them, not sure if it is the shoe loosening up or if my feet were perhaps swollen and no longer are.

But they are still a great shoe and I recommend them. I wear a 5. 5 or so in women’s shoes and have slightly wide feet; the size Small fits me well.

I actually purchased this exact pair from Target and they are my go to flip flops for the last two summers. They are: comfortable, good quality/durable, easy to clean, made in the US and the company uses recycled materials.

They also can be recycled since they are a number 3 recycled they won’t be in my area however you can mail them back to GA factory to be recycled. Although won’t have to mail them back for some time as mentioned great quality they are in good condition still for a 3rd summer even after walking around in a rocky bottom waterfall all day.

Purchasing other colors and excited to see that fleet farm carries the Maui color as Target doesn’t.

Ordered the M/L size because my feet are a little wider & the medium size was nice & snug but my feet were spilling over the sides. While the M/L is a little more loose, they fit way better. They aren’t slipping off & my feet aren’t spilling off the sides.

I like the material. I’m confident that they are more durable than some of the other sandals in the store. Not worried about any sticks, twigs or stickers poking through the bottoms. Over all I’m pretty happy about them.

The only thing that bothered me was that I ordered two day shipping & they arrived in four days but the quality is good.

I wore these sandles during my recent European trip, especially in Spain with 75,000 steps and 34 miles. Most shoes and good tennis shoes hurt my feet, these Gaya Brown Sandles were the absolute most comfortable.

Love these sandals. I cannot wear traditional toe posts as I have a bunion on my right foot. I cannot normally wear sandals that are open at the back as I have dropped arches and normally wear inserts.

These sandals do it all. The toe loop is comfortable and the footbed supports my arches. Winner all round. The sandals look good and are just so comfortable.

Sandals are comfortable. On the size 38-39 came 40. In the rise is very large, but in the heat this freedom allows you to move freely, do not rub, even at first use. ‘Orthopedic Corrector’ conditional-the finger does not become in place))) but the lump on the foot perfectly closes.

The correction sandals appear to be just what I need, I have never been able to buy toe post sandals due to a foot issue, these seem to be perfect, they are also very soft leather and I ordered the black which will go with most outfits.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! The heel cup is deeper than other supportive sandals I’ve tried, and that stabilizes my feet. I bought my first pair a few years ago and now they’re the only ones for me.

I love these. This is my second pair in a different colour. I wore them when I went to my podiatrist expecting him to say they weren’t great for my troublesome feet but he said they are ‘perfect’! Quality is very good.

Sandals would have been fine but had to return as left sandal dark mark on the side plus top edge of sandal looked marked. Have not heard from Sandalshop yet as to refund. This is first time I have bought from Sandalshop so not terribly impressed so far.

I had been searching for flip flops with support for flat feet as I wear flip flops all year long but after trying everything on the market, I found archies and they are a life changer for me. I have been wearing them for two years now because as soon as I put them on the pain under my feet and in my knees that was unbearable was totally gone.

After the first pair I ordered more because I only wear them now inside and outside. I can walk on the sand, walk down stairs without hurting my feet or my knees and without being afraid of falling I am so happy because I was afraid I would have to get a knees op but all it took was archies flip flops support to be able to walk normally.

I always order several pairs and the only time I don’t wear them is when I sleep. They look like regular flip flops but they wiĺl never let you down. They are pretty and unbreakable. Easy to wash and water won’t ruin them like regular flip flops.

These sandals have worked well for me. I have a bunion on one foot and heel spur on the other. I wear them almost every day. Would like other colors, please. A little bit long, but the straps assure good fit.

My daughter wore them while visiting. She had a stress fracture and bruised little toe. Said the sandals helped with pain. Definitely recommend.

For once, a company waited nearly 4 weeks before requesting a review! Now that I’ve worn these shoes for weeks, I can honestly say they do all that they say they will. They are not clunky at all, as you might expect.

I have very high arches and insteps and used the enclosed inserts (which are hidden when inserted as directed) to make my feet feel perfectly at ease as I walk. These sandals are attractive, comfortable, and just perfect for summer wear.

Size 6. Fits perfectly and very comfortable. Good arch support (did not use the extra insert). Good cushion and my feet doesn’t slip and slide due to the material. The color is as shown on the website.

I bought the Coral Stretch Knit last year for working out. I workout daily for about an hour and these shoes are comfortable and have great arch support.

I did read the description. but I guess “MAN-MADE MATERIAL” means rubber, NOT leather. i selected the Sapphire. which is more of a Royal Blue. vs. Navy. I was dissapointed,but decided I could use a new “pool side” sandal.

just wouldn’t have paid the high price for something I could have gotten much cheaper at Walmart!! All in all not worth the hassel of returning.

Admired these on a friend two years ago and bought last pair left in my size at local store (navy blue) Surprised how well navy goes with a lot of colors. I am hard on shoes (who isn’t) but unlike my other sandals, these don’t stretch, fade, get stinky.

Third summer and the sand dollar still looks new. Accidentally dragged a heavy crate across one sandal (I was not wearing it at the time) and ripped off the sand dollar. Popped it back in and 2 months later no problems.

I was so impressed with these, I ordered another pair in fuchsia and another in black. I can wear then casually and dress them up with a skirt. Sizing note- I wear a 9-9 1/2 med width normally. The large fits well.

While standing, no part of my foot extends beyond the edge of the sandal but there is not much room beyond that. But very pleased with them.

I bought my Kala KURUs a couple weeks ago. I did some research and saw multiple requests that I wear them for a few hours each day for the first couple weeks so the sole can mold to my foot because KURU sole technology uses your body heat to form the mold.

When I got my KURUs, I put them on immediately and was pleasantly surprised at the immediate relief I felt even after the first time wearing them! I wore them for SEVEN hours that day, because I was so determined to break them in sooner.

By the end of the first day, my feet felt tired but didn’t hurt which was a HUGE improvement from my daily life. I wear these shoes all the time! But, my heel spur is hurting worse and worse now. I know it’s not caused by the shoes, but the pain doesn’t go away with wearing these shoes any more.

I will wear them because I’m trying to psychologically convince myself that eventually they will just magically help with the pain again like they did for the first couple days, but it’s not working.

I’m so bummed about the failure of this product! I really wanted it to work!.

I bought my first pair of kurus (regular tennis-shoe type) several months ago and wearing other shoes makes my feet sad. I’m a hair stylist, so I stand all day. I spent the first few years of my career in terrible shoes and I’m paying for it now, my feet are completely destroyed (bunions, heel spurs, plantar faciitis, and constant pain).

But the Kurus help! As soon as I saw the sandals I bought them immediately, there was no question. And I loved them the second I put I them on! No strap or sole discomfort at all. For standing all day at work, they took a little time to break in just like my first pair.

But they’re amazing. I only wish I had waited for the other styles to come out first, the ones I bought are slightly sporty and for work, I would rather them be slightly dressy like the new black buckle sandals.

But that’s ok, I LOVE THEM! Kurus for life!.

So disappointed! Nice color. Loved the footbed and the soft cloth centerpiece. Both were very comfortable. The leather strap, however, was way too big in proportion and did not hold my foot securely.

It was so wide compared to the footbed that fit my foot perfectly both in length and width. Had to return them for fear of tripping or straining my ankle. Maybe next year they will make them with the adjustable buckle like on the Suomi, which I cannot wear because it has a leather toe separator that is not comfortable for my toes like the cloth.
