X Plane11 is great. I started to install X Plane 11 and one of the DVD’s gave me a hard time. So I emailed the folks at Laminar Research and they were great. They got right back to me in a email and helped me fix the problem I was having.

Now I’m having a great time, but there’s a lot to it then just flying a plane. I would to thanks folks at Laminar Research again for the help and keep up the great work. I’m still new at this but in time and with lot’s of reading I will have a little understanding about how to get an aircraft off the ground and in the air and landing it safe.

Install with 8 dvd disk, very hard. Disk 3 took me 1 Day for the pc to see disk 3 after installing disk 2. Disk 8 after installing disk 7 , waiting for disk 8, even after put disk 8 in the DVD player, doesnt see disk 8.

Tried for 2 days of putting disk in and out of DVD player. Brought another set of 8 disk and still the same troubles. X plane 11 great flight simulator, but dvd installation is only problem, I have with x plane 11.

Great value because I did not pay full price. It is easy to install just make sure you have the room to install it. As for ease of use, the more hardware you have the better, i. e. Yoke, Throttles, Floor peddles.

This is coming from a person that plays no video games, may be different if you do to use key board functions.

I am a retired Airline Pilot, and Army Attack Chopper Pilot. I recommend this version of Flight Simulator for its easy operation, minimum computer requirements, and realism. It is also a good training tool.

I started a ten year old boy on this program, he is now an Airline Pilot. This version will operate with 256mb of memory as opposed to Flight Sim X.

My step-dad flies RC Planes and loves this game. He plays it when it isn’t possible for him to fly outside and says it was really helpful for learning tricks and the basics of flying so he doesn’t ruin his nice planes.

Okay this is not a toy for a minor under 16 years of age, is true simulation of flying and controlling a radio controlled aircraft or helicopter etc! and just like in the real world there would be consequences if crash it breaks and will not work anymore or right/like it should!.

This flight simulator for model radio controlled aeroplanes did not load up from the disks supplied but there was no great difficulty in downloading the programme from the web using the link provided.

Following the prompts given the set up was achieved. An up date on 9. 5 was offered and downloaded. This was all on lap Top with Windows 10 operating system. (A cable (not supplied) will link computer to large screen tv which works out well.

) The supplied controller feels solid and similar in size and bulk to RC Transmitters used with actual models.

The pro’s is it is a very good flight simulator program, It has a great controller and the aircraft have great graphics. The con’s I could not find anywhere in the literature on how to adjust the trim tabs to properly trim out the airplane.

I did not even find this information on the web and would like to see instructions and illustrations on how to work the four trim tabs to properly trim out the various airplanes as well as in how to save how each one of my choices is trimmed out.

I purchased the sim for the VR aspects. It falls short of other VR sim programs. The picture is very blurred using oculus rift. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade real flight.

I used to have this product on my old computer, but when I got a new computer I could no longer install my old program, since it only lets you use it on one computer, which is why I bought this new unsealed version.

My new computer installed it on drive C which had very little space left, so I could not put any of my add ons for it since it told me I did not have enough space. I tried installing it to drive D which still had plenty of space but it gave me error messages, so I am still without the program.

I need to take my new computer in since things are not backing up into my external hard drive also. Program is great since I’ve had it for years. It’s my new gaming computer which is having problems.

I just wanted to play flight simulator, but the new version has this whole Steam login, online, do stuff over internet thing to it. That’s great if I’m playing other Steam games, but I’m not, so it was just more bloat and internet connectivity I didn’t need.

I went back to an older version of Flight Simulator – problem solved. Works fine on my Windows 7 machine (I haven’t made the jump to Win10 yet).

I am using the flight simulator a lot with several friend all over the world. It is too bad Microsoft stopped with the support for this product. Many people are using this program for pleasure. To install this expansion pack gives most users a problem to install.

Purchased initially as a replacement to a TFlight 4 for my PC. Thought I was getting an upgrade for playing Elite Dangerous. Getting this device to play nice with Elite Dangerous with the bindings the way I want them is pretty much impossible.

Using the program they supply to adjust the controls to allow you a large degree of customizability? Absolute garbage. When you go to input the keyboard buttons that the joystick buttons will replicate at least half of them won’t even register.

Honestly, as disappointed as I was with the TFlight it didn’t require all that much effort to set up. This thing? I haven’t played Elite in 2 weeks because the bindings are still all off on this, with no way to fix.

Save yourselves some anxiety, and ignore this stick. Maybe if Logitech ever figures out how to make a decent interface for the programming it may be worth it, but I wouldn’t expect much.

I had a previous version of this program and found this newer version and ordered it. It arrived VERY quickly and was everything I had hoped for. The price was really low. The program has wonderful sounds and many features that I wanted.

I use this with my flight simulator to keep proficient on small single engine aircraft I fly VFR mostly and use this for navigation with sectional maps I don’t require a lot of instrumentation so the programmable features work well for my purpose.

It’s everything I need for my purpose. The yoke and pedals are well built and perform as desired. I would buy them again.

Ages ago, I’ve tried the flight simulator game with keyboard for controls. It made for a real frustrating experience. The amount of buttons needed for the control is overwhelming. Using this yoke takes a lot of frustration out.

Flying with this feels natural.

I have the CH Products FSY211U flight yoke. It seems to be a bit smoother and more stable than the older Virtual Pilot. The Virtual Pilot throttle would jump a bit and it wouldn’t quite stay on course for long periods of time.

So far, this newer FSY211U does much better.

I have the cheap ChiCOM knock off RF 7. meh. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Totally worth the extra bucks! Let me start by saying I have literally built and flown hundreds of U-Control, Free Flight and R/C model airplanes of all kinds and scales since the late 60s.

This is as close as I’ve ever seen to the real thing. I love this thing. Can’t seem to put it down. Very realistic and lets me fly a lot of different models. Just incredibly fun. Makes me want to start building models again and get out to fly them.

Wish life would let me but since it won’t this is the next best thing. :-).

I’m disappointed. This new version is not up to the rave reviews its been getting, in my opinion. I only bought Realflight 8, as my old flight sym wouldn’t work anymore when I upgraded my computer; even after I down loaded updated drivers for it.

Having played on a mates Realflight 5 and enjoyed it, I thought this version would be a hundred fold better, but its not. I thought this would be a good alternative; but so far I’m disappointed that compared to my old version of Aero Flight Professional it lacks some of the sophistication, model detail, viewing perspective and flight realism of AFP.

I’m only just starting to play around with it and set it up the way I want it, so this is not a comprehensive review. However, it is very easy to set up, you can start flying straight out of the box, virtually which is good for me as my computer skills are very average.

My laptop Toshiba is equipped for big graphics apps, handles it well. Hopefully in time, I will warm to this flight sym if I can set it up to be more realistic I will be happy.

This is an absolute must for anyone getting into RC planes. Spending hours and hours crashing virtual planes saves hundreds, if not thousands in real RC airplane repairs and replacements. Realflight allowed me to start getting some muscle memory in my hands and fingers before taking a real plane out.

The graphics are great and the simulation is fantastic. I wish it had a Mac version and there are a few things that could be improved with the software, especially the training sessions but having simulator allows you to learn through trial and error with no additional cost.

I loved it so much I bought one for my father-in-law and he can’t stop playing it. He can’t wait to fly a real RC plane now.

First the service from Scan, top notch and actually arrived 2 weeks earlier than given which was a nice surprise. I have taken a star away for the following reason. Once I’d setup the yoke and tested the movement back/forward I could detect and hear a slightly loud ‘clicking’ & feel a slight bit of resistance when pushing the yoke forward.

Something similar to how a spring would feel if it was clicking. This did not feel right and rather than use the yoke ‘not knowing’ and also having to go through the pain of returning it I decided to open it up to investigate.

Kudos to Honeycomb for at least making that easy. What I discovered was that from the rotary switch on the front panel there is a ribbon cable that subsequently attaches it to a bit of PCB towards the rear of the chassis.

This ribbon cable had not been secured properly and had drifted across to slightly contact the yoke mechanism when it was pushed forward. All it needed was to slightly tighten the cable-tie attaching the ribbon cable to its mounting and problem solved.

I’m glad I did this as it would surely have been A/ really annoying and B/ Would probably have broken the ribbon cable after repeated snags on the yoke, resulting in a certain RMA. Perhaps the rush to get these out resulted in the build being a little hurried , all good in the end though.

Aside from that initial disappointment I am extremely pleased with the functionality of the flight controls. There are so many different ways to configure it and the added control you get with the feel of the yoke plus the vast array of control options make it something that genuinely enhances my flight sim experience.

Also a plus is that there’s no power supply required, just needs a USB, I would like to be able to set the LED colour but they are not so bright that they’re a bother. I’ve had no ‘dead zone’ issues that some seem to have mentioned.

Value for money, a tricky one. In reality it’s a fairly simple device but I guess that’s also part of the value, I never find myself having to think when using it and flying has become second nature.

Pros: Excellent handling. Beautiful in the ‘Flare’ with no balooning. The feel of the yoke is excellent too. It also rotates 90 degrees left and right! (“My CH Pro Yoke only rotates 45 degrees either side!”) The desk clamps are solid steel and not plastic! The cabinet itself is solid top quality.

Cons: The yoke ‘Pitch’ resistance is far too heavy. It’s what I would expect to find in something like a fully laden Lancaster Bomber. (“The pilot often got the engineer to help him pull back the yoke on takeoff!”) At the same time, the ‘Roll’ resistance is completely linear if any.

In the real aircraft as in Pitch, resistance should increase with application. Unless of course you are still on the ground!.

Compared with the entry level yokes from other suppliers, the mechanism on this yoke is smooth and precise. The turning angle is also more realistic going a full 180 degrees to the right and to the left.

Installation is easy, the manual explaining the installation is repetitive but clear. The anchoring mechanism is too good. Once clamped in place the yoke will not move. When the clamp is used with the sticky pad it becomes impossible to remove.

The switches are not as substantial as Logitech switches and their location is awkward and not realistic. The gimmicky LED lights are annoying. They can be turned off but come on everytime the simulator is restarted.

Never the less, the yoke is worth the money and it adds realism to the simulation.

Bought this recently when I discovered I needed it installed in order to use 3rd party add-ons. Wow, should have gotten this a long time ago. Have only tried a few of the additional aircraft/missions, but they are really good.

No issues with installation [Win7 Home Premium, 7th Gen Core i7]. Recommended.

My six year old son is all about airplanes, so this is excellent for him. He enjoys it allot. I spent some 14 hours and three days how ever trying to activate the product in order to use it. Microsoft tech support was helpfull and available and to there credit.

This was a challenge to get the application to work in windows 7. We are talking command prompts and switches as well as four uninstall and re install as well as allot of time online discerning the articles in Microsofts extensive online forums.

The activation process is what prevents me from giving FSX Acceleration an excellent five star rating. The simulator is excellent and all in all worth the expense and time spent installing the product.

Pros: Amazing device, it adds reality to flight simulation. Great value for money. Built with excellent materials. Cons: Very difficult to setup properly. It works great with Msfs2020 and Xplane, but for a better configuration I had to search and download additional software, due to poor drivers supplied by Saitek/Logitech.

Plenty of tutorials on YouTube though.

This Logitech Multi Panel is a nice addition to my flight sim hobby but it needs some some major updating. It has been around for many years and the manufacturer seems to have abandoned its support. Logitech will not assist you.

All that is available online are the drivers for several Windows versions and absolutely NO instructions on how to get the product working. If I had to do it all over knowing what I know now, I would skip this product and hopefully wait to see if another company will come out with their own version of an autopilot.

I probably should return it but I will continue to work out the bugs that haunt me.

I am pretty impressed by this device. I thought it might have been a bit dated, but it works really well with Flight Sim 2020 and fully drives the autopilot including driving instrument approaches. Whist the virtual cockpit in flight sim looks good, its easier to drive with physical buttons.

Bought this since MicroCenter had this in stock in their store, along with the matching rudder pedals. The quality is quite good, being careful with yoke and pedals, should last several years. There are other yoke and pedal packages that may be higher quality, but also at higher cost.

I consider myself at the upper end of casual usage, and did not feel the need to spend more. Go to the Logitech site for the documentation for the *physical* set up of the yoke and pedals. For MS Flight Sim 2020, do NOT install any drivers for the yoke and pedals.

MS FS 2020 configures the yoke and pedals nearly perfectly. Just go into the MS FS 2020 config screen and fine tune to personal taste. For casual usage, this is a fine product that I do recommend.

The build quality is pretty cheap for the price. Though it has a steel rod for the yoke, it’s not really as smooth as i would expect, it’s a little grindy in a couple of places while pushing in. The yoke is wiggly , not fitted and restrained well in the housing.

The levers are worse, all plastic and quite ‘flexy’. There is no calibration option with this, so enjoy your drift. i guess. i spent several hours researching fixes on google an you tube, none worked.

I emailed their support and they pretty much said just get used to it. The fastening system is a plastic hand screw. it’s relatively stable, but again just feels cheap. Maybe i expect too much for 170 dollars, but this just isn’t worth it for the quality and performance.

Returned it after two days of trying to make it viable.

I purchased the Logitech Pro Yoke and Pedal bundle to replace the CH Products joystick, throttle and rudder pedals that I have been using for about 20 years. Besides being a long time sim pilot, I have been a licensed Private pilot for the past 18 years and own a Cessna 150.

My main complaint with the Logitech Pro Yoke and Pedals is with the way the Yoke and Pedals move and feel. The centering springs on both the Yoke and Pedals are just to stiff for my tastes. The flight controls on most real world aircraft don’t have centering springs, and I would prefer it if Logitech would either eliminate, or significantly reduce, the amount of tension of their centering springs.

It is pretty obvious that many other people agree with me on this, judging from the the number of YouTube videos I have seen about DIY modification to the Logitech Yoke, in particular.

This simulator is amazing along with the interface. It took me a little while to get it set up( mainly because I’m not good with computers). Once it was going it is very realistic, it should be a good training tool.
