20 Best Fleece Jacket For Men (2023 Updated)

So, I love the design and the deep discount, but it runs surprisingly small. I know my measurements well, so I know what to look for, especially in the chest area. I’ve bought several fleeces, hoodies, coats, etc.

from the other big names using the same set of measurements, none have surprised me like this. This is actually a size LARGER than what I normally wear too! I bought this along with a pullover windbreaker – same size – completely different experience.

The windbreaker fits super well and exactly how I expected. The Teca fleece on the other hand, was pretty snug in the chest. Not uncomfortably snug, but just kind of disappointingly snug. Let’s say snug enough to where the fleece essentially removes my entire shirt when I take it off.

For around the house, it’ll be fine. But I’m a little hesitant to take it anywhere considering that I risk stripping for everyone if I go to take it off in a restaurant or something.

There are good and bads. The bad first. What I’m not used to is the weight and feel of this jacket. It feels lighter and thinner that other fleece jackets I had. So as I try it on for the first time, I didn’t feel confident it was as warm as I’m use to.

Now the good. There are many. There are several areas with the smooth polyester panels sewn in: The collar, the chest panel exterior and the flap behind the zipper. And it feels to me, in those areas ( the neck and chest), it blocks the wind a bit better.

Size and fit is near perfect for me. The sleeve length, and the neck diameter are good. It’s just loose enough at my belly to fit looking good. Construction is excellent. I feel confident it would last.

The one thing I wish it had are zipper pockets. I like to secure my keys and wallet with a zippered closure.

I actually chose this fleece over other similar ones because of its extra front pocket. Women’s clothing is notoriously lacking in pockets and it’s my #1 pet peeve. The side pockets are great, but the little kangaroo zip pocket is super handy.

It’s warm and cozy, performs well. I’ve used it camping and overnight hiking up Garibaldi where there are winter conditions and it was the perfect top later. kept me warm, and has held up durably through all the rough wear.

Also day to day in the city (Vancouver) on chilly days it works instead of a jacket. The colours also look really nice and it’s sustainably produced, so that’s a bonus.

I loved this jacket when I saw it on sale. Pros- love this company and their mission! LOVE the colors- I got the bright violet/blue color- makes me happy every time I see it or wear it. Love the overall look and feel, and is very cozy.

Even though I got a size up (M when I am usually a S) and it’s a little bigger than I thought, it still fits under my bigger winter coat for extra warmth (in Norcal!) I got a M, not wanting it to be too snug- I could have gotten the S, it seems very true to size, or a little roomier if anything.

So it’s a little baggier on me than I would normally like. Cons- the fabric is soft but not super soft as some other fleeces are on the inside, as some other reviewers have said. I love that the hood is covered with a waterproof or resistant fabric- but it’s not cinchable!! This means it flies off my head when it’s windy and rainy, when I most need it to stay on.

The water resistant fabric also makes that “swishy” sound which I notice when I wear it indoors (like rain pants)- I had thought I’d grab this anytime I was cold even inside, but because of that slightly noisy, outdoor-ish sound, I tend to not reach for it as an extra warm layer except when outside.

Overall, love the look- I’d get a small if ordering again- would order true to your size, and just know the hood isn’t cinchable- but hope they change this in future!.

I’ve been wearing my fleece for about a year now. All winter long. I fell in love with this because of the color pattern. I love the way it looks… but… It’s really not that warm. The fleece is not very soft and comfortable, it’s a bit “scratchy” if that makes sense.

I realized how uncomfortable it is after trying on other fleeces after wearing it all year. The bottom is a bit baggy and open for a normal thin person, leaving it susceptible to a draft. No drawstring bungies or anything to tighten it closed.

Considering how much a paid for this thing, I would expect better quality. But… it looks good.

Yesterday, there was a canine mele at the off-leash dog park. This came on the first 70-degree day since we had a foot of snow the week before; needless to say, it was MUDDY. My dog, Penny apparently sniffed the wrong butt, which set off a chain reaction of growling, barking, and general nonsense.

This fido frackus caused me to wind up in a big puddle of mud, along with my Cotopaxi hooded zip. I thought my new fleece was ruined. but, I was able to get up and brush myself off. The Cotopaxi hoodie protected my favorite t-shirt and didn’t allow me to get too wet.

Most of the dirt and mud were brushed off and the hoodie is good-as-new after it was washed. A word of advice for you: don’t sniff the wrong butt.

Exactly what I was looking for. Warm but will let a bit through to vent. Works great under a shell jacket as part of a layer system. I wear it alone down to 0c if the wind is calm and its fine if you’re moving.

It’s nearly perfect as that mid layer, not too hot or too cold and lets enough wind through to keep you from overheating. I’m 6’0 190 lbs and the large fits tight but I can fit a base and a t-shirt under it without feeling constricted.

The neck comes up high and is quite stiff at first but a couple washes took the starch out of it and now I like how tall it is.

I bought this jacket to use primarily for bike commuting. This fleece fits the bill perfectly. It’s very breathable and just the right weight for me. With a moderate level of activity, I’m comfortable in this down to about 30.

If I’m just wearing it casually and not moving too much, I’d say it’s good down to around 45. It cuts the wind just enough for me while still being breathable. I use this along with a 3-layer shell and IMHO it’s a perfect combo for bike commuting and hiking.

I am really happy with this fleece. It’s a great fit. There’s room for layering in my normal size. I have freedom of movement in the arms and back. The neck isn’t too tight when fully zipped. I love the color too.

Great design. I appreciate the no-hood option of this jacket so it’s easier to layer it.

I purchased these shirts to make matching Disney shirts for our Mother-Daughter trip to Disney World. I absolutely loved them! They were comfortable and fit great! I loved how soft they were. They also took the glitter vinyl very nicely! I will be purchasing many more shirts from Jiffy! I did have to return my daughter’s shirts as she wears a small not medium and I had purchased them in medium.

Jiffy immediately exchanged them in plenty of time. I am thrilled with the customer service I experienced with Jiffy!.

At the time of the year that I am posting this review for these Hanes men’s ComfortBlend EcoSmart Full Zip Hoodies the colder weather has already starting to arrive. I purchased 3 of these hoodies to use them together with the Hanes Men’s EcoSmart “Sweatpants” (i.

e. , Style #O8389). During the colder months up here in the northeast I keep my home thermostat set at a constant 60 degrees in an effort to save on my heating bills. I even wear Hanes socks around the house during these colder months.

This style of Hanes hoodie jacket is not made of super heavy material nor is its material super light in weight–it is just right for my purposes to remain comfortable around the house! These hoodies would also be great for use in the early to mid fall season when worn outside–if the outside temperature was right! With some other brands of hoodie jackets the hood of the jacket can be a little on the small side and a tight fit around one’s head area; however, with this style of Hane’s brand hoodie there is plenty of room to experience comfort.

Another part of a hoodie that is very important to me is the zipper. The zipper on this style of Hanes hoodie seems to be strong enough and when in motion during opening and closing the zipper there does not seem to be any resistance–it slides easy! I purchased 2 in the navy color and one in the black color and I am glad that I did.

All the photo show the zippers being colored. I bought the 2xl navy trying to find a replacement for the nano soft hoodies they have stopped ,making. Oh, im a lady, I hate the cold metal zippers against my skin.

Im old and wear my hoodies 9 months a year. Im at a loss to find a soft lightweight hoodie. This one wood be great if the zipper wasn’t cold hard metal. But sorry, not for me. I gave it to a man that doesn’t mind the metal zippers.

But, im still out of hoodies for next year. I hope Hanes can recommend a replacement for me. i need atleast 6 new hoodies before September 2021.

Disappointed in this jacket. Major issues: 1- if you’re skinny, this jacket will hang wide on you. There’s no waist drawstring. Looks like a bag. 2 – the zipper on mine caught and didn’t bind cleanly from get-go.

Onto the fit, I’m 6′ 6″ with proportional arm and torso lengths. The sleeves on this were great (actually a touch long, which is fine!). The waist line was too high though, meaning jacket wasn’t long enough shoulder to waist.

Be aware, this is a fairly light fleece. I’m pretty disappointed to say my first and probably last Land’s End purchase is going back.

This a good looking jacket. The large, tall fits me well (6 foot, 200 pounds). When I purchased the jacket the description mentioned “hand warmer pockets” and “inside mesh cargo pockets”. There are no inside cargo pockets and the outside zipper pockets were mesh, not fleece lined, and could not be called “hand warmer”.

Based on current description, I will recommend this product, though I was disappointed.

This is an good looking jacket. I have a woman’s T200, so I knew the quality of the fleece and weight of the jacket would be ideal. With hesitation I bought the colorblock burgundy with navy and the color combination looks better in person than it does in the website image.

My purchase is to be a gift. I added a Super Soft Supima Turtleneck in burgundy as a coordinating piece and I think the duo will be an impressive gift. The jacket is the ideal weight to be worn throughout the cold weather season (except perhaps on days when the temperatures are below freezing).

Great fabric with an athletic cut. I bought the black and red. They look refined for what they are and go from flyfishing to a night out. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair. I am 6’1″ ,36″ waist, 210 lbs with chest.

My initial pair was XL and was comfortable but seemed a bit boxy in the lower half. I ordered the second pair in L and they fit and look great (wife preferred L). I didn’t return the roomier XL pair but had them slightly brought in the lower half.

Alterations person created a new seam down the side middle bringing it in one inch total for left and right. Perfect. Now I have a casual dress pair and a stick in the pack and flyfish or hike pair. This was a great style pullover that Orvis made that’s finished nicely.

I tend to buy extra when I find something nice. A small alteration was well worth it. It is perfect for times that a full thickness jacket is just too hot like Texas winters and Colorado mornings. If you are my size and want it trim and sharp go with the Large.

Ordered L and it felt too large (5-10, 165). Ordered M and it fit just right; sent back L and received credit. I wear layers often as I am indoor and outdoor so need to adjust temp quickly. Lovely (bright) color.

The phone message on the Customer Service line really grabbed me: the owner talking about shared values and the need to keep it real. All staff helping with the return were great. Packing made return exceptionally easy using original material.

I really like the DRIRELEASE fabric by Orvis. It is all that is advertised – comfortable, dries quickly, and resists odor. This particular pullover is very comfortable. It is mid-weight, so I wear it in moderately cool weather (58-68) and under my windbreaker when it’s colder out.

Another thing that I love about Orvis pullovers is that the collar isn’t too high. It feels just right whether up or folded down like a normal collar.

This is a terrific value for the price. Very warm, fits easily over other clothes, and I appreciate the inside pockets. It looks great, and is true to size. I would have liked zippers on outside left and right pockets, but at least they give you a zipped pocket on left chest.

which is working fine. And the L/R pockets are deep, and hold my keys/etc fine so far. Collar is a must, and main zipper is very durable. I wore this over a t shirt in 15 degree weather on a 10 mile walk in late January 2022.

and I was warm but not sweating. it was perfect. It moves with the body, and I never felt it got in my way when driving, sitting in chairs, etc. I have jackets by several other brand name manufacturers.

Super soft and warm jacket. Length is just right sits by the hips and it is also true to size I just made the mistake of ordering a size bigger so I do suggest you keep the size you normally wear. Don’t size up.

Easy to wash and doesn’t leave fuzz behind. Thin enough to wear underneath a coat. Great for the winter weather!.

This is a great and warm jacket, but not for outdoor activities. The fleece is gummy feeling and collects debre and lint like crazy. grass, leaves, lint, anything it touches will stick to it and is extremely hard to clean out.

You basically have to just pull the fibers out to remove things that collect in them. If you just want to wear it around it’s great, but don’t wear it hiking, lay down of the grass, or the like.

I spent most of a day looking for somthing like this( I’m quite fussy) I called into junction one Antrim Tresspass branch and spotted this, they only had one xl size left in it, I still couldn’t make up my mind, I returned a while later to by the item but to my disappointment it was sold.

I went home, looked online and was able to purchase on, even better they were on sale reduced from £139. 99 to £69. 99. I am very pleased with my purchase, lovely looking jacket!🙂.

This is a great fleece, really good quality and expensive-looking. The outside is an extremely fine knit with contrasting soft fleece lining. Not at all bulky but still very warm. I have only given 4 stars because it’s not true to size.

I’m a size 14 but had to buy an XL in order to zip it up, and hence the sleeves are too long and need to be turned back.

I absolutely love these. They are snuggly. To me, they run big and long. I like them because they cover my behind. I am 5’8′, the sleeves are long and can cover my hands. There is plenty of room for a shirt underneath.

We had a sudden cold snap this spring and these were perfect. As a plus-size woman, I always like men’s sweatshirts because they are not fitted around the waist. I wear a size 3x women’s top and I probably could have gotten a 3x sweatshirt but I got a 4x.

So these are big and I like them that way.

AS a fleece jacket this is a a major disappointment. IT is exceedingly thin for a fleece jacket. also it is not consistently fleece since it has different materials in different areas. Unfortunately finding a non hoody heavy fleece jacket is near impossible any more.

Everything seems to be a hoody.

I am in love with this fleece. It is very light weight, and packs in a very small space too. It works like magic in the winter season when it is wore with “Men’s Sweatshirt NH150 Hiking Hoodie”. It’s like no cold or winter season can affect you.

It actually makes a person keep warm inside with nothing else to wear on the top. This fleece’s neck make is also perfect. It ensures that the neck is covered so that one cannot feel cold in the neck.

This is something is an USP of the Quechua branded sweatshirt and fleece, in my opinion.

I am sorry but I need to report couple problems with this otherwise nice jacket: – Mesh fabric of pockets is too weak, I ripped hole through it on first day of wearing it and I swear I treated it gently as it was new.

– Armpit ventilation is fantastic, but if you do some serious long hike and sweat expect it would smell next day regardless of your morning hygiene efforts. I rarely had this kind of problem with different clothes made of synthetic materials.

Otherwise this is excellent middle or top layer for outdoor activities, light, warm, airy and fitting perfectly. Dries quickly, takes little space in backpack.

I am always cold and need thick puffer Jackets to keep me warm in winter. However, fleece Jacket still keeps me warm even in 20-degree weather. I obviously wear another sweater underneath and I’m golden.

I going to see if it can hold up in colder temps. I had this coat in my shopping cart for the longest but I’ve should of bought this sooner. I can probably wear this coat from Fall all through Winter.

It a shame that the Medium Grey and Black sold out.

I’m not using this jacket out on trails. It’s more of a later fall/early winter jacket in the Chicago suburbs. It really is a good jacket. Looks and feels nice. The Sherpa lining is warm, and the reinforced areas in the elbows are much appreciated.

The built in face mask is a nice touch and I use it often when the wind begins to pick up. Only thing I wish is the mask covered more of my neck. Other than that, overall really good product.

Couple other reviews said this is uncomfortable because no fleece in the arms, not warm, pssshhh! I usually don’t spend money on expensive stuff and just deal with off brand imitations. I only got my first one of these in black because it was half off.

Tonight I walked by a grey one, last one in the store, thought it was 40% off, it wasn’t so I walked back to where I found the coat to put it back. Got their turned back around and bought this full price.

If you can get your hands on this coat do it. Won’t be good in the rain like a rain coat, but walking from your car to a store fine, the only time I would recommend is in the summer haha. This coat keeps me warm and comfy in the house if I’m chilly and is perfect for walking the dog in 12 degrees and snow.

Yes this is my opinion, but this coat is legit my favorite coat!.

Yes, it is very warm, for a fleece. For the uninitiated, wind WILL go right through fleeces; you will want to wear a ‘shell’ overtop on windy/cool days. Cut is generous. Pockets, nice. Pretty much everything.

except one VERY important detail: there isn’t any way to tighten the bottom of the fleece. Most ‘technical’ fleeces have a elastic band built withing the bottom hem, with a sort of button that that will hold the selected snugness one prefers.

It also helps the fleece to have a better fit; wow what a miss! The orange version is a bit more dingy than I expected, too.

Twenty years ago my daughter bought me a L. L. Bean polar fleece jacket which I continue to wear almost everyday during the late Fall and winter; It has been a perfect jacket to wear when driving. Through the years I have been unable to find another Polartech jacket therefore have not been successful in replacing it.

until this year when I found it again on the L. L. Bean web site. Cannot tell you how excited I was and could hardly wait for the jacket. It was on back order but I was willing to wait. Unfortunately, the excitement of finding and receiving the jacket was short lived! I had to return the jacket.

it is more then “slightly” filled, when I zipped it I looked and felt like a stuffed sausage! Had it not been “slightly” filled, just loose as my 20+ year old jacket it would have been perfect.

Rating is for size Small in Black Forest Green by wearer 5 ft 2 in, 116 lbs, in New York City. I love the gorgeous green color and the three really big very deep zippered pockets. But I am disappointed in the shape and fit of the jacket, which falls unflatteringly low over my backside.

And I am disappointed in the permeability of the sleeves to chilling winds, especially if I am biking and the temperature falls below 40 F. I wish you still made the Pathfinder jackets, which offer wind protection along with stretch and which I have in several colors from years ago.

The same week that my Stio fleece jacket arrived I had purchased the exact same styled fleece jacket from Patagonia so I have been able to do a side by side comparison with the traditional high quality manufacturing workmanship found in all Patagonia products.

The Stio jacket is able to hold its own and has the same high quality look that my Patagonia jacket has. It also has the same internal softness and warmth as Patagonia and I love its deep royal blue color.

The only reason that I gave my Stio jacket a 4 instead of a 5 has to do with the finishing touches with the collar. The Patagonia collar has a band of cloth sewn inside the collar area which helps it hold its shape and remain upright.

The Stio knit fleece collar does not have a similar reinforcing cloth addition which means that when the jacket is not zipped up all the way to the top, the collar sort of hangs a bit crooked and can look a bit crumpled.

This has nothing to do with durability or longevity but rather looks and can be easily remedied by Stio by having future orders of their jacket slightly modified by adding in a similar reinforcing band of cloth.

Otherwise, my fleece is perfect.

I seriously love, love this jacket. So much that I now have two of them. The material is so soft and warm, and the fit is incredibly flattering. I love the drop in back for a little bit extra coverage, and the way it tapers a bit around the waist.

I am 5‘7“, 140 pounds, with a trim, athletic build. My shoulders are somewhat broad, and the small is a little bit snug in the shoulders, but not enough to be too restricting. I also have a medium in this jacket which is a bit more roomy overall.

I prefer full zip jackets to hoodies, as I like the option to wear them open for heat regulation, and I sometimes find hoodies to be a bit bulky, especially when wearing another jacket over top. No I also own one of the Sweetwater fleece hoodies, which I do like quite a bit, I personally prefer this jacket and wish there were as many color options for it as for the hoodie! This will be a staple for me all fall and winter long here in Michigan.

I can wear it with short sleeves or a long sleeve shirt underneath, and I also bought the matching Azurá insulated vest to wear over it when it’s extra chilly outside. Make more soon, Stio!.

I love this fleece! The longer length in back is so nice, keeping my rear warm on cold days, when camping, etc. The cut is trim and flattering without being tight…. I’m 5’4”, 110 pounds. The size small fits nicely with enough room to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it.

I could have gone with a size XS but it would not leave room for anything but a tshirt underneath. The blue color is beautiful, a tad bit more rich and bright than typical navy. The fabric is clearly high quality, so soft and cozy inside and durable outside.

I have the sold-out pink color, wear it all the time and would buy a second one for laundry day if I could. Live in it. Literally warm & fuzzy. Got some awful intestinal illness from my cabin well water and this item, along with my dog, is comforting & cheering me through a protracted recovery.

Thing is there’s a reason this is the only clothing review I’ve written in 12 years: to let anyone else who hasn’t thought about it know to be aware of safety with fleece. I havent had a lot of fleece, usually wear wool.

Fleece responds to heat and flame differently. Roll up your sleeves when cooking or handling fire: the underside between cuff and elbow singes easily, even during everyday cooking. The pile may not seem long enough to be of concern, but consider it like youre wearing hair with a 1/4 – 1/2- inch buzz cut on your arm so the fleece that gives you joy doesnt experience what mine did.

Happy fuzziness, A p. s. Backcountry, I suggest including this review with other Pagagonia fleece items made of the same fabric, especially if you sell the version for girls/kids (just to prevent mishaps for young folk by giving parents a heads up).

I wanted to love this pullover as it’s hands down the most I’ve ever spent on a sweater, but I’m fairly disappointed. The fit and comfort is wonderful. It’s very flattering and quite soft. Day one, however, I realized I desperately missed pockets.

It fits like a sweatshirt so a thousand times a day my hands each for that front pocket only to find it’s not there. And the matting, wow. There are no clear washing instructions on my tags (I see every language except English) so who knows how it’s supposed to be cleaned, but I tried my best to be careful.

Still, I’ve had this sweater for four months and spent an hour this morning brushing the matting free. It helped, but it wasn’t a miracle. This pullover will never be the same, just from normal wear.

For $100 I could have purchased three similar pullovers that would have looked better for a helluva lot longer than this one has. Unfortunately, I caught a spark standing next to a campfire so can’t return.

I wish the sweatshirt pocket was lined with the same material as the sweater. Instead, it is a mesh material, which makes it really breathable (read: cold). Also wish Patagonia carried the Los Gatos line in size XXS like some of their other products.

The XS fit too big for me, which could be okay if I wanted an oversized look, but I’d rather the bottom hem fit snug. I have found that the Los Gatos fabric holds up really well to washings (I air dry them) and the fabric does not matte or pill (or hold onto dog hair), which makes it worth the extra cost compared to cheaper sherpa/fleece options.

Lastly, the “dusky brown” had too much of a purple tint for me which led me to return.

I bought this jacket at the beginning of archery deer season and used it from september ’21 through december ’21. probably 15 or so hunts with it. i spent 3 hunts in a tree stand with temps ranging from 40 – 70F and was plenty comfortable, the wind proofing works and the jacket retains heat well, but its not overly warm and i never felt cold while stationary.

I wore it on active stalking hunts where i walked a couple miles in temps ranging from 40 – mid 60’s with just a merino baselayer and never felt overheated or cold. it was my go to for turkey, squirrel, and deer.

its true to size with a roomier active fit. 5’6″ 130lbs 36″ chest, I ordered a small and im able to fit a size small puffy coat under it for really cold days and still have mobility to draw a bow. its a quiet jacket as well.

the fleece outer shell is quiet but it doesn’t allow for a DWR treatment which is the only thing this jacket is missing. the zip cuffs are handy for layering and the safety harness pass through is nice to have.

the waist cinch cord grommets on the sides does contact your gun when its hanging on your shoulder and I’ve noticed that area of the jacket starting to pill and wear a bit more. not a huge deal but in the future they could be offset a little so this is avoided.

Great jacket that hits 90% of the features youd want from a softshell jacket. with the right layers this jacket could take you well into the 20’s as long as its not raining or heavy snow.

I have this whole set (jacket & pants), which I do like; a lot. Both parts are my go to for cold weather. They fit well, have been durable, very quiet, keep me warm, have lots of pockets, zippered sleeves & pants bottoms are perfect, and so on.

The prices of this setup was/is much more manageable than other name brand hunting gear companies. The only thing I am not clear on is the windproof part. The pants description states Tundra is 100% windproof.

The jacket does not say the same in its description. Wearing these hunting at home in SC, the windproof does not matter. Wearing these hunting in KS, it matters a lot. To me, the Tundra does not seem to provide as much wind stopping protection as some of my other Cabela’s/BPS garments.

Overall, I really like these and would recommend them to anyone.

1st I’ll say that bass pro buying cabelas out kinda ruined the cabelas name , now to this jacket, compared to a cabelas brand jacket I purchased a couple yrs ago for the same price this redhead subpar, I got this jacket and pants to with it, the material is not quiet especially against anything rubber coated, like the buckles on the seat in a summit stand or the binos around ur neck, this jacket is bulky and not packable or long enough on my arms, sitting in the stand it bunches up on ur chest and I find my self wanting to pull it down consistently.

The jacket and pants are warm with a good fleece base layer till about 30 degrees but u dont wanna walk far with all that or you will sweat. Why I mentioned it’s not very packable. Also the zippers are loud.

The outside material reminds me of cheap hotel sheets. Wish I would have took the time to go to cabelas and try these before I ordered them. I guarantee you I would have bought a cabelas brand jacket over the redhead.

I swore off redhead years ago after leaky boots and cheap clothing. Seams like cabelas, back then had stuff made from good companies like north face. Yes its pricey but worth it if it keeps u warm and last for years.

I hope that cables keeps the quality in there name and that it doesn’t just start using redhead items.

I picked this up recently to use as a mid layer on a winter backpacking trip in the PNW. I wanted something that would layer nicely under a hard shell or puffy and could also be used as an insulating layer under motorcycle jackets.

It was honestly a bit more than I intended to spend walking in, but once I slipped it on I knew I had found the one! Quality of materials feel very worth it, and it is medium to heavy weight but still fits snug, making for great layering.

There is a lot of stretch for mobility, which combined with the softness of the lining makes for a very comfortable garment! It’s on the warmer side so could be used as an outer layer much of the time, and looks very good which makes it great for trips into civilization as well.

I see myself getting a lot of use out of this, so I hope long term durability is there as well! I am 5’6″, 145 lbs and found the size small to fit a bit on the snug size, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Very satisfied with this jacket. Worn during today’s rain storm it proved warm, wind resistant on its own, and superb as a layer under a rain shell. The fabric resembles a combination of a tightly woven sweater exterior and a felt-like interior in the arms and the back.

Several different fabrics are strategically placed on the arms, sides and back. The front torso has an inner lining for additional wind resistance. The arms fit snug, not a lot of room for layering inside.

Torso fits close. Overall impression: Like it was custom tailored for me. I don’t want to take it off. I have a ¼ zip version of their Interceptr, which I save for colder weather outings. This is even more versatile.

I’ve owned the Patagonia Better Sweater and this. They’re very similar but I like this jacket a little more. It’s slightly more wind resistant than the PBS, but that’s not saying much since wind goes through the PBS like a cheese grater.

Both look very nice and both would be good mid layers, although they are pretty heavy for fleece jackets. Pros: Looks terrific, well made, nice features (thumb loops, placement of pockets). If the wind isn’t blowing it’s fairly warm.

I haven’t had a chance to wear it as a mid layer as the weather started warming up right after I bought it, but I have no doubt it would work well. Cons: As I said above, the wind resistance is not great, even for a fleece jacket.

I have a cheap old school fuzzy fleece jacket that keeps out the wind better. And, surprisingly, it’s not as soft as I would have liked on the inside. There is just a little bit of itchiness/scratchiness.

So, the sweet spot for this jacket would be as a mid layer over a thin base layer, which is a shame because it’s a very good looking jacket. I first bought the Better Sweater and had the same complaints, took that back, then bought this on the strength of other reviews saying it was soft and warm.

I’m keeping it, but I’d say I’m about 80% happy with it.

I bought this as a warm all rounder – zoom calls to the park with the kids. I am 6?1? 175-185lbs. The medium fits perfect. Slim fit, but not tight. It is a little thicker than I expected, but that is not an issue.

The Better Sweater is a Medium for me as well. Nano Puff is a Large. Hopefully this helps you with sizing.

When North Face came out, years ago, I initially thought it was just a name until I tried it. Then I realized it was more expensive than Columbia, but was of better, long-lasting quality. So, when I first heard about Patagonia I dismissed it as another name, but then decided to give it a shot.

I was expecting a much higher quality than the Columbia fleece I now own. However, upon receiving this fleece in the mail I knew I had made a mistake. The quality is less than that of a $35 Columbia fleece at almost triple the price.

On top of that the pockets are netted, so I wouldn’t expect them to keep my hands warm if needed. Overall it’s an overrated and overpriced product with less quality than that of its competitors. Patagonia may have products that are of good quality, but honestly I don’t think I’ll ever take the chance again.

I will wear this almost every day around the house this winter. It is really warm and perfect for layering. The only reason I took off a star is that I feel like the sleeves are a little awkwardly wide and I don’t have super skinny arms.

I have a smaller build but have larger biceps and chest so I am always afraid to size down for fear of being squeezed into a shirt that is too tight. For this I would almost size down one. The cut in the torso is flattering and great.

It is overall a great product and will be a staple for me. Very happy with the purchase. The one change would make it perfect, but at least now it will be easy to layer with.

It’s super comfortable and actually looks good. As for warmth it’ll be for just cool weather and not super cold weather. It doesn’t have pockets but makes sense with the price. Overall awesome pullover take the price.

Great casual 1/4 zip. Im 6’3 250 with a athletic build and got a XL so it dont look to baggy. Xl worked better then 2xl to me fot more casual look. If i was to use it hunting maybe xxl

Seems to be true to size, but more of an athletic fit, which is what I wanted. Very warm for as lightweight as it is. I am really happy with it, especially at the price it was.

I am reviewing for my husband. I got him this jacket because he had a similar one from Haband bought years ago. He still wears it for working around our place, but it is getting worn. (He is really hard on his work clothes because he is always working!) He likes the new one because it is warmer since the jacket zips up without having to snap the front flaps- which he never bothered to do.

He also likes the smooth lining because he can slip his arms into the sleeves easily. Also the knit hood is handy. There are four outside pockets and one inside pocket. For the price, it is a great jacket and I think he looks good in it! He got the blue check.

Would definitely buy again!.

I keep the house cool in winter; so, I wear it many days inside as well as out. It is warm enough for a cold crisp day drive running errands or shopping. The sleeve lining makes it easy to wear over flannel shirts.

It fits well when I ordered my normal size; though, for driving, I wish it had a zipper pull up from the bottom, too. The pockets are nice and deep; the inside pocket is great for a cell phone when you’re all zipped up.

I am also a fan of the sewn-on hood.

I thought this would be a great buy for the fall here in New Jersey. However, I was extremely disappointed when it arrived and I tried it on. The sleeves we up to my forearms. No exaggeration. I’m not an exceptionally tall guy (around 6′) but these sleeves were made for someone with extremely short arms.

I’ve had bad experiences in the past with Haband and didn’t know I was ordering from them until after I placed the order. Buyer beware. I would give this product 0 stars if I could.
